My toxic trait is only doing things that are *bad* for me when no one else is looking.
Like, if no one sees it, it didn't count, and I'm perfectly fine. No problems to be seen here, folks.
Mental illness? We don't know her.

being accosted by adult authority figures you barely know for doing something "sexually provocative" that will "tempt someone" (like showing your shoulders) as a Small Child that knows literally nothing about sex or sexual innuendo (but still being treated like you know and you're doing it intentionally) is 20x more damaging to your psyche than seeing two men hold hands.

Sometimes we gotta manufacture our own childhoods later on in life to learn how to stop acting like "mature for your age" 8 year olds

Living in a body with chronic pain is insane. I'm going about my day thinking: Wow! I'm in a lot of pain right now, is there something wrong? Did I hurt myself?
The answer is no, but the sack of flesh and blood I have been trapped in for two decades screams like a toddler in a grocery store. All because... uh... my dinner was too spicy?

hi hello thinking about child and adult lines but with current baby stella and my fully grown stella design because it’s been affecting my brain recently
[Plain text ID: a digital drawing of two original Flatland characters, Stella as an adult line and current Stella as a young child on a beige background.
Adult Stella has a thin, worm-like body with a four-pointed star head, a geometric heart on the tip of her tail, and two cilia near her head and tail respectively. The ends of her body are solid black, but fades into dark - and then light - grey nearer to the centre of her body. Her mouth is denoted by a white line at the front of her head. She is also wearing a round orange, yellow, white, light blue and navy blue aroace pin above her front cilia.
Child Stella is a smaller and shorter, grey, teardrop-shaped creature with a mouth at her blunt end that fades to faint black near the tip of her beak, four cilia in the same places as adult Stella and a heart-shaped tail.
Adult Stella’s body is curled into a S-shape and is facing child Stella. Child Stella’s tail is curved upwards while the rest of her body remains straight. There is a music note beside adult Stella’s head to signify contentness and there are two small lines next to child Stella’s head to signify surprise. Both are smiling at each other.
End ID.]
