Plus, an alt ver with dyed hair bc I didn’t know what ppl would like more 😭

Backstory: Mike is the middle child out of two sisters, Nancy and Holly. His parents run whatever the equivalent to an accounting firm in the Boiling Isles is. Karen is the face of that business due to her nature, while Ted is more working on the behind the scenes aspects. Ted doesn’t know much about his kids (except Holly) and Karen is so obsessed with appearing as a perfect family, she tends to forget her kids wants and needs in the process. Also, wouldn’t be complete without complete without child labor!! Mike writes and did enjoy it, until his parents saw it and figured out how to use it to their advantage. He writes letters, reports, and whatever else they can find for him to do.

Explanation for Mike’s hair (Pasted from another post of mine): I like to think Karen is forcing him to dye his hair like this because neither she or Ted have black hair and it throws people off. She believes it’s bad for the business they’re running or whatever, idk.

I would like to expand more on that, Mike is 100% Ted’s child (no scandals here, lol). But Karen is so worried about judgment from others, that it forces her to take these drastic steps. That’s probably apart of her offscreen arc or something because I like to think that she’d eventually grow as a person.

Mike’s relationship with Lucas: They were best friends until they were 10. Karen realized that Mike was getting bullied and basically made him change everything about himself, including his friends. Weak people have weak friends, strong people surround themselves with strong connections. They really stopped talking to each other when Mike stopped saying anything against Lucas’s bullies. He became a bystander.

I know he’s supposed to be the Amity of this au, but I really can’t see him bullying anyone. I think what’s more accurate is him repressing his true self and feelings, then meeting Will and essentially becoming himself again.

Relationship with his family: Mike is just a kid so he does love his parents. However, sometimes he wonders if they actually love him, or what he can do for them. At times, he feels like more of a prop than their child.

He loves his sisters as well, but isn’t close to Nancy. He tries to make sure to be the best brother to Holly that he can be.

I’ll tell more about his relationship with Will in another post but I might add onto this later!! I dunno yet 😭

I might make the other sheets differently, again I’m not sure yet

A NOTP I have with said character: hmm i dunno who comes to mind. does anyone actually ship hollyleaf with men other than fallen leaves? idk if its because i like her a lot but shes one of those characters i just cannot see with a man, like it just feels weird.

A random headcanon: if we're talking razorverse, as a part of the tunnel hivemind, she can take form outside of the tunnels as a shadow. she often followed dovewing and ivypool this way, though she was unable to actually talk to them.

General Opinion over said character: i love the version of her in my head but man I wish she was handled sooo much better in canon. what do you mean leafpool has to apologize to HER. no she fucking doesn't. hold my girl accountable, she ruined lives and tried to kill her own mom, dont just let her get off scot free? the end of her arc should not be "oh i should have followed the code Better", it should be "hey the code is sorta... bullshit actually"

A ship I have with said character: her with another oc named lightheart. their relationship happens after lightheart is exiled and silverleaf is nearly murdered (and subsequently fakes her death), they're from different clans. havent figured out their new story but they start off when lightheart takes refuge with Silverleaf and Fang (her rogue friend) and they can relate to each others' traumas a lot and things build from there ^^

A BROTP I have with said character: Like I said she has a rogue friend named Fang! they became friends when silverpaw was an apprentice and she ended up confiding in him a lot about her situation with applefrost (her mentor) and he was the only one who made her actually feel like a kid. hes the one who found her and helped fake her death.

A NOTP I have with said character: none really

A random headcanon: she becomes some sort of traveling bard! she creates some songs with lightheart and fang and they go around different territories to sing

General Opinion over said character: I really need to fix up her story and update it someday, im not sure what exactly to do cause as of right now, i don't know if her story is too generic or not. (applefrost, the deputy and her mentor, attempts to isolate her and make her loyal to only her for when she gets her nine lives, so silverleaf could be an enforcer or mole of sorts, only to discard of her when she feels silverleaf isn't up to the task.) but she's my first ever wc oc and im very fond of her

Itadori really adores the fact that you are a writer and really loves how you are able to come up with stories really quickly.

He does question what goes on in your mind since he wants to know what it is like to have a wild imagination since you seem to think of a story idea really randomly out of nowhere.

What he really loves is that you allow him to read some of your story drafts that you have since that told him you trusted him with your work - sometimes he will tell Fushiguro about your stories but that’s supposed to be a secret.

He also really loves it when you ask for his opinion and if he has any ideas that he wanted to add - at times they are crazy and weird but you somehow make it work.

“How about like a giant robot looming over the city and everything babe?”

“Baby, this story is about knights and faeries, but I can try to add something in like that”

You don’t know this, but Itadori really likes to admire you when you are working on your laptop as you type up your story since he loves the sound of your laptop keys being typed away due to it sounding so calm in a quiet room.

But he really likes it when you write on paper because he loves to admire your handwriting and wants to learn the process of your story planning.

What he usually does is sit by your side and watch what you type up and read your story plans that are on paper on the coffee table for you to look back on to when needed.

He always brings your favourite drink and food to you since he knows you are in a concentration mode right now due to you looking a bit serious.

Though, he does ask a few questions about your story and sometimes he will ask every second he gets the chance to - but you love the sound of his voice, so you forgive him.

What he loves to do with you, is to have you between his legs or on his lap and have you read a book to him - he finds your voice really soothing and it helps take him away from the life of a sorcerer for some time.

But he likes it when you read your stories to him since he knows you wrote them from the bottom of your heart - if you write a story inspired by his life, he will forever love you for it.

Overall, this boy is extremely smitten for you the second you either have a book, sheets of paper or laptop in your hands since he knows then that you have an amazing story that needs to be shared with the whole world.

For Sukuna, I feel like he would wonder what was the point of putting an idea on a sheet of paper when he has many stories of his own.

Adding onto that, Sukuna would probably demand you to read about his history since he wants you to know his whole background.

Once again, adding onto that, he would probably demand you to write stories about him since he wants to know what you can do with your talent and words - and on the low, he wants your attention.

However, over time he would open up to the idea of reading your own pieces of work and to his surprise, he is somewhat amazed at how articulate you are and how well you are able to keep him intrigued with the story - then he will complain about where the next part was.

“Where is the rest of the story, little one?” - he will say this in frustration since he wants to know what happens next.

“Sukuna, I haven’t completed the story yet, I need to continue writing it out but I will read it to you the second I have finished the other part, I promise”

He will 100% tell you to hurry up - like that is rude, let a writer take their time damn.

I feel like Sukuna would love a historical genre book - because it makes him feel like he can somewhat relate to your character since it will be set around his time.

He will demand Itadori to switch with him when he is extremely bored because, during those times, he wants you to read to him - Itadori will be hesitant at first but somehow allows it since he knows that Sukuna would never hurt you.

Sometimes Itadori would just make you read to him when he refuses to let Sukuna out so he doesn’t have to suffer from the curse’s complaining.

If he does like Sukuna out, the curse will pull you into his lap and commands you to read to him as he plays with your hair to occupy himself

Sukuna will never tell you this, but he loves the sound of your voice and it helps calm him down - but once again, he will never admit it to you.

If you ever write a story that has a hint of the King of Curses, he will become arrogant and cocky at the fact he is in your story but will give you a little affection - a few neck kisses, a few make-outs, a few other things - since this tells him that he is on your mind even when he doesn’t present himself fully.

Sometimes the King of Curses hates the fact you have to concentrate on writing out your story since that means he does not have your attention~

Overall, Sukuna wants to be the main character of all your stories but enjoys the time he gets with you when you read to him - he will make it a tradition for you to tell him stories.

OKAY SO BASICALLY

instead of Elune putting her “most favored children” through figurative and literal hell (first one intentionally, second one not so much), I am officially declaring Blizzard’s canon explanation Stupid As Shit and will instead propose an alternative as to why she didn’t prevent Teldrassil from burning.

My PERSONAL HEADCANON alternative can be summed up as such: she literally just wasn’t paying attention.

Elune is not all-knowing or all-powerful. If she was, nothing bad would ever happen to anyone that worships her (because she is a KIND and LOVING person, a'ight). I’m also going to say that sentient beings (e.g. Sylvanas) have free will and act of their own accord in the Warcraft universe (generally). So I will propose that despite being incredibly powerful and seemingly having an influence that stretches between star systems if not galaxies, Elune is not all-powerful. She can only do so much, she can only be aware of so much. So, I’m choosing to believe that when Teldrassil burned, she was just… busy doing something else. Perhaps helping another moon-worshipping civilization somewhere, or ten moon-worshipping civilizations at the same time because her goddess brain is that big. Maybe the Jailer or one of his lackeys was specifically distracting her (meh?). Maybe she can only fully manifest her powers during certain phases of the moon, I dunno. But importantly for us, she just wasn’t watching over the night elves at that point in time.

When she is watching over a given civilization, she can and will intervene in whatever divine way she wants to help them out. I like to think gods in fiction are sort of… masters of the butterfly effect so to speak, so that’s how I envision this flavor of divine intervention.

And I do want to add that normally whenever Elune goes to the other end of the universe or whatever to do something else, everything is just fine when she checks back in on the good old kaldorei. It’s just that this time, it was like she gently set us down on the table before she went to go get groceries, and then when she got back (maybe earlier than she intended because she heard thousands of people crying out to her) we had somehow fallen on the floor and the table had also exploded.

I'm actually fine with A.) making the Winter Queen her sister, because gods being related to each other is pretty common in irl mythology, although I agree it demystifies her and what we have right now is about all I’m comfortable with (i.e. I will be ignoring any and all future attempts to demystify her). And I’m also fine with B.) keeping the Winter Queen's call for help, but it only coincidentally happened at the same time as the burning. Not sure how I feel about the idea that Elune didn't know about the whole "every soul is being siphoned into hell" thing though. Granted, I don't think we have a specific time for when the Arbiter got broken, only that it happened before the Fourth War. So maybe if it happened just before Teldrassil burned, I suppose I could accept that Elune didn't know at the time.

Then again, I did see someone on Twitter say that it's also not great that Elune didn't CHECK to make sure the souls got to Ardenweald, which eeehhhhh yeah. Of course you could say that death working as intended was just taken for granted before now so it's kind of a "well, why WOULD she check" sort of thing. But anyway.

Also with this explanation I’ve come up with, it makes sense for why she’d give Tyrande the Night Warrior powers. Because with canon... it does not make sense. Just flat-out.

If you wanna go with this idea or a modified version, you and/or your character can absolutely choose to believe this means Elune is negligent or unreliable. I might go that way with Cathala honestly lol

But anyway those are my thoughts and I will now be accepting this all as canon <3 It's the best explanation I can come up with.

Oh also in my version of events Sylvanas died at the battle of Ardenweald so it makes a bit more sense for Tyrande and everyone else to be like “…okay, what’s next.”

TL;DR The War of Thorns happened and Teldrassil burned because Elune just chose the absolute worst time to not pay attention.

haha ok !! it’s no problem bud, i just have a hard time figuring out what all to say if i dont have a specific topic to ramble about. let’s start with beach first !!

edie - probably liked going to the beach when she was younger with the kids, but as she got older and it got harder to leave the house she probably would prefer to stay inside.molly - LOVES IT. loves going to the beach, playing in the water, playing with sand, collecting shells and bugs and all sorts of stuff. like i said in a previous post, she’d probably have to be dragged home at the end of the day because she wouldn’t want to go home.barbara - she’d probably love any excuse to wear a bikini, so a beach day would be nice. mostly prefers sunbathing to actually swimming thoughcalvin + sam - calvin would prefer to go at night for the stargazing, but i could see the two of them going to the beach to just dick around and be kids. building sand castles and the like, yknow? as sam got older though he’d probably appreciate going to the beach for the photos.walter - you probably wouldn’t catch him near the ocean any time soon. i see him as being the type to like to read about marine life and study it from an academic perspective but as far as actually going into the water would be a no-no.dawn - she’s the kinda mom that would most likely bring a book to the beach and sunbathe while reading or something. if dawn and barbara were alive at the same time they’d probably girl-talk on the beach while the kids had fun.gus - unlike molly he’d probably have to be dragged TO the beach, and even then he’d just sit on the beach with his kite wearing a t-shirt and swim trunks just avoiding everyone if at all possible. maybe he’d watch over greg.gregory - let this baby play in the sand with a little shovel and paillewis - eeeeeh? he’d probably prefer to go to the beach for like midnight walks by himself or with his siblings and just enjoying the quiet and listening to the waves crashing and stuff. not too big of a swimmer?milton - the only reason he’d probably want to go to the beach is to practice painting the ocean and stuff. also not too big of a swimmer.edith - she’d probably like swimming in the ocean, even if her brothers don’t swim that much. and if she wasn’t in the mood to swim, she could chill out on the beach talking to lewis or something. sibling bonding !!

TMNT 2003/2k3 Headcanon: Crying - (Leonardo)

Feel free to scroll past this first part if you’re not interested in my silly rambling and nonsense. I won’t mind. Promise. ;)

Okey-dokey then, with the global epidemic that is the Coronavirus well in action and most of the world stuck in lockdown (starting this Friday for us too), felt like getting the ‘ol creative juices flowing with a little headcanon-y thingy in preparation for -possibly- more fandom writings to keep myself busy during the house arrest (well... it kinda is!) and hopefully my mind off all the bad news. :( 

Also, this is totally my first one on the blog! WOOT! Please bear in mind that I’m SUPER rusty! Haven’t written in ages so there are bound to be typos and all matter of general errors scattered throughout the post. Don’t pet them! They bite!  

Anyhoo~ Despite attempting to create and share with the goal in mind to uplift spirits, I decided to start on a rather upsetting subject (PLEASE DON’T LEAVE! They end on happy notes ;) ) because, Imma just come and say it, I enjoy seeing my favourite characters shed tears (not for just any old reason -their personality plays a huge role in this- and CERTAINLY not for sadistic reasons, land sakes no! But... well, you’ll see~ ;) ) It makes me all gooey and fuzzy inside to see them display such raw emotion and I just wanna leap into the TV screen to hug and console them. I dunno why. Maybe I’m nuts like that. (Remembers Raph crying at the farm when Leo was badly injured and wishes she could just hug them all and take away the pain) Oh well, if you enjoy visualizing the same, then *High Fives*. :)

So yeah, if you read the title, you’ll know this is based on the 2003/2k3 series (my favs). Hope you all enjoy~ :D Grab tissues cause sad turts ahead! :’(

-- It’s no easy feat to make the leader in blue turn on the waterworks. Leo won’t cry for any old reason. It’s not because he has no emotions, far from it, but being the leader of a small ninja clan -who happen to be family as well- is no easy task in itself: he has a lot on his young shoulders and deals with many issues on a daily basis few his age ever have to.

-- It’s because of these reasons that Leo doesn’t cry often. One of the lesser likely to out of the four brothers. But when he does, it’s an emotionally distressing sight to behold. 

-- Leo tends to cry whenever those closest to him -namely his brothers, his father/master and truest friends- are severely injured or are in a dire situation. Remember his angry/moody arc? The thought of losing any of them causes him great pain and distress, especially if he were the cause of any of it, and when that happens, he can’t stop the dampness that forms around his eyes and soaks into his mask. 

-- He’s not fond of crying, especially in front of others, even though he fully comprehends its normalcy. He feels he needs to be everyone’s rock, their fortress of physical and emotional stability to turn to for strength when things get rough... So when the tears start to fall, he feels he can’t show them, can’t allow them to watch him crumble under the gripling weight of helplessness and anguish.

-- He frantically wipes at his eyes and desperately attempts not to sniffle, but it’s a hopeless battle, for his tears are already a steady stream. 

-- He’ll try to hide when possible, usually retreating to his room to allow the worst of the emotions to spill over before returning to the others... Though he may be in there a while: when Leo lets his emotions go, it can be just as powerful as his red-banded brother’s rage. 

-- He spares no time in making sure the coast is clear for the tears are already streaming by the time he reaches his futon, and there’s no stopping them now as he lets himself drop to his knees, only halfway onto the mattress. He purposefully leaves the room unlit, cloaking his form in the darkness. 

-- He sniffs a few times as he shuffles up against the wall, sitting upright against it, bringing his legs up and hugging them loosely and droops his head against a single knee pad. 

-- His voice desperately wishes to escape. To express its misery. But he won’t allow it to, often placing one hand over his face in a bid to quell the sadness and remain silent in the battle against his own inner turmoil. He refuses to let anyone see him in that state of utter sorrow and vulnerability.

-- He whimpers ever so slightly and coughs a few times as breathing becomes difficult. He knows this episode won’t be over any time soon. Fortunately, he keeps some tissues next to his bed for such rare occasions and tries not to blow too loudly. He thinks back to the last time he cried so hard... It’s been a while. It felt like a build up. 

-- Time has been forgotten as he’s lost in deep thought. By the time he slips a hand across his eyes, only the material of his mask is still slightly damp. He clears his nostrils a couple of times before considering whether he was ready to return to his family. He’d of course straighten up his bedding beforehand, and would also require a trip to the bathroom to wash his face. A true ninja leaves no evidence. 

-- Leo tries to put the horrifying images out of head before leaving his quarters. He doesn’t wish to be weighed down again and thus maybe cause his emotions to come out a second time. He knew someone would catch on that time. Instead, he holds his head up high, focusing on the there and now to carry him forward.  

BONUS EXTRA~

-- Failure is also one of his greatest foes. Leo despises it, but not in the irrational sense; he fully comprehends that in order to grow, one has to lose in order to learn and thus, succeed in turn, and while it can frustrate him when he’s unsuccessful at mastering a martial arts technique for example, he understanders it’s part of the process and that no one’s perfect. 

-- It’s when his slipups could spell casualties or death to his family and/or friends is when it weighs down on him like a boulder strapped to his shell. 

-- A really big one. 

-- And it hurts. So much so that it causes him to become despondent and often teary-eyed when no one’s looking.

-- Boi Bloo might also cry from especially sad movie scenes. He gets seriously into the story, and when the scene is just right -perfect music, perfect timing etc.- you may just catch Fearless with watery eyes. 

-- He can’t help it. After all, he’s a leader, and very caring and kind-hearted individual, so movies showing children or anyone/anything defenceless getting hurt has him not only visibly upset, but also angry at the cause. He’s a softie like that. 

-- He won’t have a meltdown, of course, but the tears are definitely there. Just don’t tease him too much; he’s easily embarrassed by it. ;) 

BONUS EXTRA EXTRA FEMALE READER OR S/O EDITION~ (Can also use an OC/FC insert if you wish, up to you)

You had figured something was up by the time you’d finished greeting everyone in the Splinterson household except for the Turtle you’d long to see most and he hadn’t made his presence yet known. 

The idea that he must’ve been practicing or meditating swiftly vanished when Mikey told you he’d been in his room in the dark for the past few hours. “The guy hardly ever naps, and even so, never this long.” He’d told you. “I dunno, (Y/N), we were about to check on ‘im when you arrived, but maybe you should be the one to. Think he’d really appreciate it.” And there was absolutely no argument from your side as you were already making your way up to the room.

You didn’t know what to expect as you neared the doorway. Could he possibly still just be sleeping? Meditating in the dark instead of his usual spot by the training area? Or... was he sick? The latter now had you concerned and you picked up your pace... Only to pause mid step when an unmistakable sound reached your ears: a sniffle.

Had it come from within his room? It was the only logical explanation as everyone else was downstairs. You were truly perturbed now as you stood outside the doorway and called out the ‘eldest’ Turtle’s name.

There was some shuffling to be heard but you were unable to tell for sure what he was doing -probably trying to neaten up his bed- “(Y/N)? Just a second, okay?” he responded in a rather awkward verging on frantic tone, and you were certain you heard another sniffle escape him. 

That, along with the way he’d replied really didn’t help to put your mind at ease. “Leo, are you alright?” Nor was the pitch blackness in which he remained concealed in.

“Yeah, just... l-looking for something.” There was some more shuffling as if to prove his point, but you were having none of it.

“Then maybe this,” you began, turning around to flick the light switch, “will help?”

“No! Wait!” But it was a split second too late for as soon the brightness illuminated the entire room, you had caught the telltale signs of an emotional meltdown in progress plastered on his face before he quickly turned away and briskly wiped an arm across his face, attempting to hide the shame... or perhaps embarrassment? 

“Leo...?” your heart and voice softened, “Hey, what’s wrong?” You automatically walked to him, closing the gap he was now trying to form. 

“Nothing,” he lied, and acknowledged it was a fruitless attempt but still couldn’t stop himself. Autopilot panic mode was enabled now. “It’s nothing.” 

Unfortunately for him, autopilot mother hen mode was activated for you as you reached with both hands to his carapace and shoulder, gently turning him to face you. “I can see that it’s something.” Your words were gentle, and you wanted nothing more than to take away his pain. “Look at me, Honey.” His body was turned but his head remained to the side. It was clear he didn’t want his obvious distress on display, even to you. “Please, Leo?” You tried again, and slowly but surely, his eyes met yours, and you felt your heart sink further.

The fabric of his mask was wet and eyes were still red with fresh tears that threatened to fall. He appeared so broken and helpless as he stared at you, and even though he uttered no words, you could practically hear him despairingly ask “Is this what you wanted? To see me at my lowest?” from his expression alone. 

Never had you witnessed the leader of this band of mutant brothers cry. At times you had wondered if he ever did, and yet here he was; the incredible pillar of strength and dignity you had come to know and adore, in tears and so dejected that you couldn’t stop your own eyes from becoming damp the more you gazed at him. “Oh, Sweety...” You whispered as you felt your soul shatter. It was too much to bear. You slowly wrapped your arms around him, one around the midsection and the other over his shoulder, and buried your face into his leathery neck, offering every ounce of comfort you could muster.

It didn’t take him long at all to sink into the embrace and return the action. Beyond the point of concerning himself with showing the pain he felt -or the wetness now soaking into your shoulder when he placed his forehead against it- he sniffed and finally allowed the tears to fall once again as fresh waves of emotion surged throughout his body.

And this time, he couldn’t keep the whimpering to himself.

“Shh~ It’s okay, it’s okay,” you soothed, lightly patting and rubbing along the scutes of his shell as he weakly sobbed, finally letting go of all the sadness that gripped him. 

You weren’t even aware of what was wrong, and you most likely wouldn’t find out til later once he calmed down, but right now, he just needed you to hold him. Hold him until the hurt was gone... And so you would. 

AND THAT’S ALL SHE WROTE!

ALL THE FEELS!! I EMBARRASS!!

OMGosh, this turned into a monster! The mother of all HCs!! :O No seriously, this wasn’t meant to be this long! I was suppose to squish all four into one itty bitty little post, but then it just grew... and grew... and GREW! Personally, I blame the Reader Bonus but I’d be damned if I didn’t enjoy writing it! ;P You guys here on Tumblr got me slightly addicted to them and have wanted to attempt some myself so... Anyhoo~ I can’t really say if I’m entirely content with the whole thing, I dunno. I feel some parts are better than others (writing style-wise) but yeah, I really need to get back into the swing of things...

Speaking of which, I DO plan on adding my two cents on the other bois as well, but judging by how this one turned out, they’ll most likely all be this length, more or less, so each Turt will get his own post so I can really jot down those details with all the freedom in the world! That being said, I can’t say when they’ll be added but hopefully soon-ish. :) Raph's next on the list!

Paraplegic Adrien AU

I’m sure this had been done a dozen times already, but I found this draft in my old files and thought I’d add some finishing touches and post it. I’m trying to get back into the fandom, I guess. 

Paraplegic Adrien

- He was paralyzed from the waist down in an accident when he was a kid.

- Requires a wheelchair.

- Participates in Wheelchair Fencing and has been in the Paralympics once (the year prior).

- Finally being allowed to leave the house to participate in the Paralympics made him realize that he's not quite as helpless as his father makes him out to be.

- Rebellious Adrien still runs away from home to try and attend school, having mapped out the route and planned the whole excursion for weeks beforehand (Chloe helped—Adrien's the only person she actively helps with anything. She threw a fit when it was discovered that their school wasn't wheelchair accessible, and so the changes were made. Sorry, Alya, don't mean to ruin your hero's day good deed).

- Despite his own disability, Adrien still rushes to Master Fu's aid when he falls. Very rarely does Adrien decide that his own disability outweighs his ability to help other people.

- Finds the black cat Miraculous upon being escorted back home the first day.

- Is initially hesitant and surprised—why would he, of all people, be chosen to protect the people of Paris?

- Takes up the challenge anyway (because it's Adrien) and so we get Chat Noir, but with a few changes:

- I'll be honest, I really just wanted to headcanon a Chat Noir with, like, metal robot parts.

- Similar idea as far as the actual design of the suit, but there are robotic parts smoothly integrated so as to allow movement—around his knees, hips, ankles, feet, etc… He can't feel his legs, but the way he's synched up with his miraculous allows him to use his lower half. The metal bits are incorporated into other parts of the suit as well—like around his shoulders, etc… which allows for him to disguise the fact that he has a disability at all (his own subconscious choice). Everyone just assumes Chat Noir is a robot cat superhero or something—no one realizes he's paraplegic.

- He falls in love with Ladybug just the same.

- Finally is allowed to attend school and ends up in much the same predicament with Marinette as before. Alya: "Just because he has a disability doesn't mean he's nice—he's still Gabriel Agreste's spoiled-brat, model son."

- A lot actually continues on as the canon goes.

- Marinette still has a huge crush on Adrien.

- But instead of totally crashing and burning every time she talks to him (I mean, she still does sometimes), she quickly realizes that he's even more isolated than he is in the canon.

- And because Adrien is realistic about his disability, he doesn't go out of his way to include himself in activities he assumes he can't participate in (not that different from canon, I guess).

- Marinette will oftentimes go out of her way to include him in things, or make it possible for him to participate.

- She, Alya, and Nino end up doing a lot of things friendly to his situation as a result.

- And while Adrien is a very pleasant person, he is still trying very hard to be independent. He loathes it when people just come up behind him (thinking they're helping) and start pushing his chair around (Chloe). It takes a while, but Marinette is one of the few people he doesn't mind driving his chair, mostly because she's considerate about it: 

- She never does it unexpectedly.

- She always asks first, but not in a condescending manner—only when it appears as though he might need help.

- She doesn't take it personally when he tells her she's doing it wrong and is always trying to improve.

- He doesn't feel like she's doing it because he has a disability so much as it's just a facet of their friendship like any other.

- He also likes Marinette a lot because she never makes a big deal out of including him. To her, it's just an expected thing that doesn't require more or less effort than making an activity fun for someone else.

- In this way, their relationship becomes very habitual, which results in Marinette learning to be Adrien's friend much faster than she does in the canon.

- Also, Adrien is still famous. He's still a model and sets an example for his father's brand as far as inclusivity. People are, as a result, more forgiving of Gabriel's social behavior because of the example he sets in the fashion world. A guy who includes people with disabilities in his work can't really be bad, right? Right?! (wrong).

- There is a new theme, however, that deals with Adrien grappling with his physical abilities as Chat Noir versus Adrien. You know that old trope of Mari feeling like she wasn't good enough as Mari and so she's always scared when Chat finds out her identity? Take that and slap it on Adrien.

- He loves Ladybug and wants to tell her how he feels, but is also scared of what she'd think if she knew who he really was. Or that she'd lose faith in his abilities.

- This dichotomy is a constant frustration for him, and during his worse moments as Adrien, he sometimes wishes he could be Chat Noir all the time. But Mari is the one that generally pulls him out of these funks—either by her actions or words—and shows him that being who he really is isn't a bad thing at all. In this way, they have more of an equal back and forth relationship as civilians where Marinette is often reassuring Adrien as much as he uplifts her (this is a really good Adrienette AU I guess, for friendship anyway).

- As Chat Noir, he's a little more distant. He still flirts and is his normal self, but he's less forthcoming/hopeful when it comes to seriously expressing his feelings.

- He does, however, eventually tell Ladybug and is rejected, which kind of stops him from trying again (unlike canon Chat). After all, if Ladybug wasn't interested in Chat Noir (who he kind of views as his better, more capable self at this point), she's definitely not going to be interested in Adrien.

- Marinette, meanwhile, is caught not knowing whether to confess to Adrien or not, because they have such a good friendship and she doesn't want to ruin it by adding her feelings to the mix. Especially with how much Adrien expresses that he values their friendship.

- This will be an AU where Ladybug finds out Chat Noir's identity first (which might be the only bit I bother actually making fic for). He will know that she knows and it will be kind of a huge deal for him because it probably won't be during the best of circumstances. His wheelchair is incorporated into his transformation (so he always has it when he transforms back), but for some reason he'll probably transform back and be unable to use it, or maybe be falling, and so Ladybug will have to help him in a way he'd never wanted her to have to help him.

- It's probably a very emotional scene and Adrien struggles a lot with it despite Ladybug's constant assurances that her opinion of him as her irreplaceable partner is unchanged.

- No, Ladybug does not immediately reveal herself to him. One, she doesn't want to overwhelm him any more than he already has been, but she also has to deal with her own feelings on the matter. But it honestly doesn't take that long in order for her to do so.

- AND because it's me, it'd probably be a Ladrien scene where she goes to see him and expresses that she does, in fact, have feelings for him. Which throws Adrien for a loop because she'd already rejected him once as Chat, so why would things be different now?

- So she reveals herself and expresses that the reason she couldn't be with Chat is because she'd been so infatuated with Adrien. Which takes Adrien a minute to understand, because she liked him as Adrien first? And for once, we get a reveal where one of them liking their alter-ego isn't a tragedy, because there's none of this "you like Adrien but not Chat" crap because Adrien is just so overwhelmed by the fact that Ladybug fell for Adrien despite his attempts to hide that part of himself from her.

- Which she tells him is silly because both Chat and Adrien are the same and she values both of them equally, etc, etc…

- And yeah, happy kids.

I'm sure other people could add to this in a more developed way than I can, so feel free (I dunno, I'm sure this would make each and every episode of the show a bit different). Or maybe it's a really bad AU, who knows.

Stoncy Monsterhunters AU because I’m feeling soft

No, I don’t mean like canon monsterhunters. I mean like Buffy monsterhunters. I have never watched Buffy so I have no idea if this is actually ANYTHING like Buffy but like. What you THINK Buffy is when you’ve never watched it, that’s what this AU is.

So it’s a real campy type of thing, like, monster-of-the-week, y’know, super chill.

One time they’re hunting a vampire and he’s like threatening them and Nancy’s kinda like “I’d be into that” and Steve is like “ooh roleplay next time we have sex?” and Nancy’s like “YES” and Jonathan’s like “can we please focus on the guy who’s trying to kill us”

Nancy: “okay, fine, but we’re revisiting this kink”

Hmmm gonna say that it’s one of those monster-magic-world-is-secret type things y’know like Percy Jackson except if the mist wasn’t a thing. Once more, I’m imagining Buffy but I know literally nothing about it. I’m sorry except I’m not, y’all chose to follow me

GRAVITY FALLS. I AM THINKING GRAVITY FALLS. They live in the world of Gravity Falls. This is not a crossover I’m just trying to figure out world-building logistics

El’s like a WITCH or something it’s real neat but the kids are like a background type thing

Steve, at some point: “We’re fighting a ghost and I have a baseball bat.”

Nancy still has her gun. She tries to get special bullets--like silver bullets, iron, etc--and there’s a whole hilarious running joke where she’s like super competent at everything because she’s worked at like every part time job imaginable because she has to fund their monster-hunting somehow

At the end of the first fic, the government starts paying them to hunt certain monsters, and the second fic is basically a giant road trip with the three of them going around slaying the monster-of-the-week and having really vulnerable conversations--a huge focus of the second fic is Jonathan grappling with the fact that he’s leaving for college soon and that he’s left his family behind. A huge theme is trusting others to take care of themselves, and not having to carry the world on your shoulders

Jonathan doesn’t really have. Like. A weapon. He just kinda takes everything that isn’t “whack things weapon” or “gun related”. It’s a big assortment. Lotsa variety

I’m thinking a spinoff with young!Joyce Byers in the world of magic and eventually leaving it behind? Dunno how that’d work, though, hm...

There’s a running joke where the worst stuff always happens when Jonathan wears yellow

Steve learns to knit from a goddess in disguise as a hag and it’s weird but he’s really good at knitting so

Nancy and Jonathan do all the research. There’s at least one case where you have a hilarious cut back-and-forth type thing where Nancy and Jonathan are in this peaceful library, taking notes and cracking jokes about their target, while Steve is desperately battling that creature for his life and doing everything they’re not supposed to. Example: Nancy: Wow, three heads. Sounds kinda annoying--can you imagine how weird sex is? Jonathan: But that means that it’s better at paying attention. So it’s best not to try and pull a sneak attack... [Cuts to Steve trying to pull a sneak attack on the three-headed creature. He’s smashed into a pillar and groans.]

Okay, but first lemme insert a cute Elodin scribble here ;)

Now, to the real thing~

First, I have to declare that I only read Rothfuss’ books inhungarian and I’m not sure how much the translation affected my understanding.Second, I never really theorized anything before in any fandom (except right now I’m in The Dragon Prince Hell with a buddy) sooo I mightmake wild guesses. I welcome any addition or criticism because I’m pretty sureyou (or a bunch of other people in the KKC fandom) have read these books waymore times than me and know way more about it as I do… and again, I feel like I’m bad at making theories and even tho I spent like forever organizing my thoughts it came out like rambling…

So then, let’s see how Elodin, my baby boi, has any relationto the Fae. Pretty much the only thing we know he knows something of the Fae isthat he recognized Kvothe’s enshade (is it how Kvothe’s cloak is called inenglish?). How the heck can he know that tho? I doubt he just recognized itbecause he read about in a book description or something. I’d guess he has seenone before. If he did, he either saw someone wearing it either in Temerant(which isn’t a common sight) or he’s been to the Fae realm. If he did so, itseems pretty suspicious that his visit was around the time he was Chancellor.He went there, somehow came back, went mad and somehow his student went nutstoo in the process. To be honest, I feel like if I add more to this that’d berather my headcanons than actually relying on the text. Other than that onecould think that Elodin sorta did the same thing as Kvothe: he went to Ademre,met Felurian but he just changed a wee bit more than Kvothe did. It would kindaexplain why Elodin is so interested in talking about sex. But I’m pretty surethat’d be just poor storytelling which I doubt papa Rothfuss would commit to.

So, instead, I’m thinking about something else: what isElodin is one of the Fae? I’m pretty sure some people out there could prove mewrong (you are more than welcome tho!) but hear me out: what if he’s a bitweird because he has zero idea about normal human social interactions? He asksof his students to tell him random facts because he’s fascinated with thisworld and wants to know more? He’s into being nude and having sex, because, theFae might be interested in that stuff in general (I’m not sure if all the Faeare tho, but Felurian and Bast are at least, I don’t know). Like, if he was oneof the Fae, that’d explain how he knows of the enshade. Also that part in Wiseman’ fear, where Kvothe meets Felurian: in every other sentence he describeshow Felurian’s eyes/voice/everything is similar to Elodin’s (now there’s thisthing that Kvothe’s eyes changed when he came back from the Fae realm too… I’lloverlook that because I can, lol). But then Elodin was admitted to theUniversity at a young age, right? Maybe either he was a lost little baby Faethen or simply he used some magic to make himself look young? He could behalf-fae too oh my heart… And even if the Fae have their own magic, I’m prettysure they can learn naming since I guess Bast knows it too (because in the end ofWMF, there are rings of various materials in his room). But then what happenedwhen Elodin was abdicated from being Chancellor? Maybe he organized a schooltrip to the Fae and it didn’t turn out well XD

So I dunno,  I’mhaving fun thinking about this stuff… and oh man Elodin looks even hotter withpointy ears so let me have some wild guessing X) And uh, in the end I hope this was somewhat enjoyable! If you got this far in reading, feel free to request KKC art XD

The official quiz said Ocean, and I agree. At least for now.

Dragons. *shot* Uh...I can’t really choose right now. We’ve only seen the human side of the conflict so far. I want to see the elf side of things before I choose a side.

#3. If you had to choose, would you rather free Runaan from the coin or Aaravos from the mirror?

...I know I’m basically an Aarahoe...and it’s very obvious by the era title “Return of Aaravos” he’s going to break free...but I still don’t know if that’s a good thing or not.

But Runaan...I’ll get into my opinion on him later. I’ll just say the one reason I’d have for freeing him right now is because of Rayla. If she asked, I’d try.

#4. Best animal companion?

Oh don’t make me choose! Um, Bait is the obvious choice because he’s got the most personality. Ava’s also a good girl though...and Phoe-Phoe is a beautiful Moon Phoenix! Oh and then there’s the Aarapod/Wormavos...but if I had to choose, I guess Bait.

To have as your own? Also a tough choice...since they’re all good choices. Except Fen. *shot*

#6. You can revive one character, who is it and why them?

That’s also a tough one...Sarai seems like a good choice, based on what we saw of her...but almost every death in this show is for a reason that leads to major story choices. So...probably no one.

#7. Otp?

Please note this is my opinion. Not yours. If you disagree, that’s fine, but none of my choices are meant to be controversial.

Rayllum. I don’t care if they end up canon, not to the extent I’ll meme or throw a fit or something if it does or doesn’t, but they have the best chemistry I’ve seen in a cartoon in a while.

Other pairings I like:

Amaya x Gren-This is very unlikely given the age gap...I know they’re just close friends as we’ve seen, but it seems nice as a background ship to me.

Harrow x Sarai-Do I need to explain?

Harrow x Viren-Again, I know they were just friends but...it’s also a nice thought. What if they were? You know? (Alternatively: Harrow, Sarai, and Viren could be interesting to think about in an AU too)

Viren x Aaravos-Not super into this one...because this is a Toxic relationship with a capital T if you only look at canon footage. But the fandom has made some interesting “What if it was like this” content...and I love both Viren and Aaravos as characters. Just not their dynamic so far.

Aaravos x Reader/Self-Insert/OC-Aaravos x Anyone really, but I love the self-inserts and “x Reader” stories and headcanons. I’m a part of the problem of course...but that’s beside the point.

Viren x Reader/Self-Insert/OC-I see less of him than any of the main cast in this area, for good reason, but what I have seen...I support you and wish there was more out there. He wasn’t always who he is now.

#8. Unpopular opinion?

1.) Ok, probably the most unpopular...I’m not a huge Runaan fan. I don’t dislike him, don’t get me wrong. I’m just kind of indifferent. I like that he’s an uncle figure to Rayla and that’s really sweet...but I’m just not as interested in him or Tinker as what looks to be a lot of the fandom. Again, I don’t dislike them at all, but I don’t have strong feelings yet either. (That is a bit hypocritical since I know just as much, if not less, about Aaravos...but he intrigues me. There are so many mysteries surrounding him and he’s being built up big time...starting with his role as narrator. I’m not seeing that with Runaan. Sorry.)

2.) Viren is my favorite character, hands down. He’s the most interesting and such a refreshing take on an old idea. I don’t love to hate him for this either, like I do a lot of my favorite villains in the media I consume. I genuinely like him as a character, and that adds to my conflict on how to feel about Aaravos...

3.) I really hope Harrow isn’t Pip (the bird.) I think Pip escaped, but it’s not Harrow. It’s just Pip...whom Ezran can still communicate with if they go that route.

I also hope Callum isn’t half-elf. I don’t know if that’s unpopular, but it just feels like an easy way out. The show doesn’t feel like they’d do that when they’re trying to say Dark Magic is an easy way out, a short cut instead of spending years learning runes and the philosophy of the magic you study.

#9. Favorite headcanon?

More of a theory...but the one that Crowmaster is an Earthblood elf in disguise. I really like that.

Also all the Aaravos headcanons. Some are super cute, others are fuel for my angsty, sadistic writer’s heart.

#10. Best siblings pair?

Both the Broyals and the One Brain Cell Siblings. I won’t choose between them, they’re both great.

#11. Who’s your Queen?

...We haven’t seen the Dragon Queen yet...so I won’t say her in case she’s insane from grief or something... Uh...man, I don’t know. I’ll stay undecided for now.

#13. Be honest, do you have the guts to use dark magic?

The guts? Maybe. The drive? Not really. My only reason to use it would be to test my theory if everyone goes through what Callum did when he used it. That weird dream where he had to choose. But that’s coming from someone that knows the consequences of Dark Magic and all the comparisons being made about it.

It’s like smoking, it’s like cancer, and for me it’s like killing household pests. When I started out, I was very hesitant about how hard to swat when killing flies that got in the house. Now, I use full force from so much time doing so. It got easier and easier and now it’s almost second nature.

That’s how I would describe the use of Dark Magic. Why it’s so easy for Viren to kill with it, why it gets easier for Claudia to as well...just my thoughts.

#14. Who’s best elf? Why?

I’m not sure yet. Rayla’s the only one that hasn’t insulted humanity in some way so far...but because I’m biased and thirsty: Aaravos (XD)

Hot brown morning potion WITH chocolate mixed in. Otherwise, I’ll take your flavored water.

#16. Best use for magic?

It depends what type. I’ll go with illusions for...personal reasons. Related to a certain starry elf in a mirror...

Does Thunder count? I mean look at that beard! *shot* I dunno...I like them all. But Harrow, Viren, and Aaravos (ofc) stand out most when I think about hairstyles.

#18. Viren; misguided, evil, or actually the good guy?

It’s hard to say right now...everyone raises some good points...but it’s too early to say. Is he just power-hungry? Seeking control? Wants to take control of the East side, the magical side of Xadia, for a selfish reason? Or was he being honest when he claimed to love the kingdom? That war is coming and they need to take action?

What we know from the creators is Viren’s main goal or dream is to “get his name in the history books” though I could have worded that wrong. Basically I’ll just say...he’s clearly the villain. Maybe he didn’t start out that way, but by now he’s definitely willing to do whatever it takes to get his way. Is it a good cause? I don’t know yet...but I can’t say he’s a good guy or the Good Guy at this point.

#19. Would you rather fly with Phoe-Phoe, hike with Corvus, sail with Villads, or stay home with Opeli?

I would love to fly, but Villads is just the best...and I like Corvus but I hate hiking...Phoe-Phoe or Villads.

Isn’t it obvious? Viren, of course. *shot* I mean like I said...I like him...but it’s obviously Aaravos.

It’s hard to choose just one... All Viren and Aaravos’ scenes are great...but I’ll go with the scene where Callum is reading King Harrow’s letter. That is my favorite moment.

I mean who am I to judge? I think people that complain about “bad poetry” need to lighten up about it.

greek pantheon

basically athena would distance herself from the greek mafia, become the chief of police, and crack down on the gang activity that rules the town - there’s a lot of room for interesting family drama there (esp. between zeus/ares/aphrodite)

i suppose artemis would come along in this route? a police officer or a detective would suit her much better than a mafia member bc’s she’s got morals a lot like athena’s

apollo would be a playboy with not much interest in the mafia - he’s more interested in living his life in luxury and lazing about than doing dirty work

ares is defs gunning for the head position, and he’s willing to kill anyone who gets in his way

zeus is top dog, pos and hades serve as head honchos

medusa would be another police member, maybe she gets severely injured in a set up, athena and her officers leave her for dead by accident and she ends up joining izanami’s group for revenge

ok but like... medusa gets tortured by one of the gang’s henchmen, and she gets acid poured on her face... hence the mask and everything :’))))

arachne would be another rising police officer but one late night at the station athena finds arachne fucking posideon, a noted head of the greek mafia. athena shoots arachnein cold blood, and she’s abandoned by posideon... guess who seeks her out after that? :^)

dunno about the whole spider thing but she’s totally called black widow :^)))))
