already answered this once, but i’ll share another one: this is UNCONFIRMED but back in my freshmen/sophomore of highschool days I had this dumb weeb gif as my signature for my email, and i ALWAYS forgot to turn it off, so I’m pretty sure I’ve sent that fucking gif to all of my high school teachers at least once...here’s the gif

10: if you draw or write, show some of your really old work

oh boy i was waiting for this question! I’ll show a few, ‘cause i think it’s fun to look back on this stuff (cringey, but also so cool to see how i’ve improved)

I drew this in 2009, in MSPaint, with a mouse, at the tender age of 12. it was the first time in a long time i had tried drawing, and i was so proud of it that i used it as my first facebook profile picture

i drew this picture in 2011, when i was 14. i was in the eighth grade and head over heels with a boy i thought liked me back. i didn’t draw that often because i didn’t think i was very good at it. when i did draw, it was things like this, just doodles in my notebooks

i drew this the next year, in 2012, when i was 15, for a friend’s birthday. my friends encouraged me a lot, and i was starting to get a little more comfortable with drawing for fun. i drew a lot of things during that time, like these:

then my dad remembered he had an old tablet he didn’t use anymore, and I started trying to draw that way! here’s a self-portrait i did in 2013, at 16, one of the first things i drew with a tablet!

after that, I started to get a lot more confident, and drew more and more with the tablet! I also started calling myself Sootbird, and signing my drawings with that name:

as I’ve gotten older and kept practicing and drawing, I’ve gotten better and better!! 

all the way up until now!!

i have a tendency to listen to songs on repeat, but there are three that i remember having a hard time stopping: “Satellite” by Guster (my favorite song), “Hello Seattle” by Owl City, and “Title and Registration” by Death Cab for Cutie

9: do you like to use correct grammar when you type or just type all lowercase?

i alternate, but it’s usually all lowercase
