ok so like i been Thinkin a lot on that stream techno had today and i may be Thinkin Too Much cuz i was doing psychology while watching but im going to say Words Now

the entire idea and Plot of tommy going from only interacting/being manipulated by dream to only interacting with techno is a Lot. theres a lot here. and i am feasting like a fucking king on the potential of it and what this could all Mean

I think we’re building up the idea of how techno and dream differ and how they house both similarities and extreme differences in their ideals. 

So if we considered how Tommy’s arcs have changed theres a very, VERY clear juxtaposition between the exile arc to.... raccoon arc? whatever the fuck is goin on

Tommy Was manipulated, isolated, and gaslit by dream. that was the only guy he really had interacted with and that was Intentional entirely. Its very obvious this will have and currently has an affect on tommy. 

Now, he’s with technoblade. theres a lot of shit that can be read in this simply as considered right now. I feel we’re clearly supposed to at least somehow compare dream and technoblade because their positions are somewhat similar concerning how they are interacting with tommy. 

Tommy can only really interact with techno, only techno really has the ability to see him (although ranboo, ghostbur, and phil could see him but theres obvious difficulties in their case), and how tommy regards technoblade is.... complicated. like how he regards dream at the moment.

but theres some really, really important and clear differences in this that i think will show a lot about techno’s character and what’s to come

first of all, there’s a question of why techno is seemingly ‘letting’ tommy live with him. No joke, i’ve discussed this a LOT in the technocord and it’s made me realize it from a different perspective since many of those people in there are from Before techno joined the smp.

so, there’s no clear ‘rational’ reason why techno would benefit from teaming with tommy. there’s some arguments that could be made; tommy’s position with people and especially tubbo, using tommy as a bargaining chip with dream, and something else i cant remember. but the technocord hardcore ppl feel tommy is a liability in the long term. techno doesn’t really have much to gain beyond a distraction. the idea of using tommy in order to convince him he’s getting the disks and then to destroy lmanberg is kinda.... its jus more trouble to techno. In fact, it wouldve been defendable for techno to kick him out; he stole his stuff, and we saw how he reacted to his cows being killed, his previous base being pillaged. You’d have thought techno wouldve been angrier.

but like. that aside. there’s little reason for techno to open up to tommy. and thats the point.

there’s no necessity on techno’s part. he doesnt need tommy. he could kick him out easily. but he won’t. 

I imagine technoblade sees the trauma and hardship tommy went through and he sympathizes with him. Its been made clear that techno doesnt know the full extent of what happened, but he doesnt need to. he knows enough. 

Now, back to the happenings of the last stream,

it wasnt plot heavy at all. (mostly because techno’s fuckign glasses are held together with SCOTCH TAPE the guy couldnt even fucking use ducttape i hate that) but there were a Few interesting things, including the Plot Stream a bit;

the ‘box’ techno made with the idea of hiding tommy from dream. (perhaps a joke but it still shows something i feel)

how he’s been giving tommy a Lot of stuff. he hasnt Genuinely been upset at his golden apples being taken; in fact, techno gave him more food in protest of him eating all the gapples instead of.... demanding them back

went mining in the nether with the intention of getting tommy better stuff

he replaced the log he accidentally stripped. extremely funny considering he got the wrong type of wood but he tried

expending more resources on tommy with invisibility potions so that he wasnt in danger of being seen

Repeatedly would assure tommy that dream Is Not His Friend.

at the idea of tommy being ‘banned’ from the nether and being attacked in lmanberg, techno laughed at the idea of him being ‘attacked’ and killed even when tommy worried that he’d die for the Last Time

implicated that techno WOULD defend him. and the idea of someone killing Either him or tommy was funny because of that

okay so slight comparison to dream; techno is instead GIVING tommy resources instead of blowing them up, he’s obviously intent on protecting him in some way, and he assures tommy that dream is No Good (rather than how dream was telling tommy no one cared about him)

But there’s one instance that was really, really important to me

the control room had a very bad impact on tommy. most likely a panic attack (the shaking, heavy breathing, scattered speech/thought is something i know so intimately lmao) and techno’s reaction to it was extremely interesting. 

first, techno said he was ‘freaking out for no reason’ which could be a) techno is horrific at emotions and vulnerability lmao and b) to Him, it Is nothing. he has no clue what tommy had been through. 

He repeatedly asked what was wrong. what had happened in that room. He pressed Slightly. but as soon as tommy said he didnt want to talk about that, techno instantly backed off and said its alright. specifically, he said:

“It’s fine, no one recovers in a day tommy. Healing is a long process, it’s fine.”

that shit hit me like a freight train. Mostly i didnt expect anything to come from this stream like that but FUCK LMAO.

The biggest thing is, i think technoblade is going to help tommy heal from the dream shit and get back on his feet. 

but also, even though im not entirely sure i need to see more, tommy will get techno to be more caring. We know philza is the only one techno is really close to, and ghostbur as well. both of which either weren’t involved in betraying techno, or doesnt remember it. i see it pointed out that techno is going at tubbo and his government rather than dream, but i think it makes sense. 

dream technically hasnt challenged techno’s ideals or what he wants; while tubbo stole from him, used him as a weapon, and reinstated a government despite everything techno was saying. 

Tommy took part in betraying him, thats without a doubt. but tommy was also screwed over by the government in place. so techno empathizes with him. maybe they dont fully trust each other, but thats a work in progress. and it will progress to technoblade trusting tommy despite their past, and realizing that dream is in a position of power over Everyone. 

tl:dr: tommy is going to heal with techno’s help and full come to terms with/realize what dream did to him, and techno is going to realize he CAN trust people and that dream has been the one pulling the strings all along

magic reveal

So ive been thinking about the magic reveal we did get and also the different magic reveals we COULD have gotten so i thought id project all my thoughts into another massive tumblr rant:

personally, i dont think the magic reveal was bad at all. yes, i wouldve done it slightly differently, i think it was done way too late in the show and left little time to explore how that reveal affected merlin and arthurs relationship, and obviously we never actually ended up seeing if magic was legalised and all. but i dont hate the magic reveal we got. the key part i really love is that it was done on Merlins own terms, he could have just lied, but instead he finally told Arthur the truth and i think that there were many reasons for that decision being made. 

firstly, Merlin definitely felt guilty and blamed himself for Arthur being stabbed, he must have at least partly blamed himself because everything he did directly led to Mordred turning into a little shit. Part of him might have just felt as if he owes Arthur that explanation yknow. secondly, i feel like by that point he was tired of lying in general, he needed to get that secret off his chest. those two things combined with the fact that Arthur was dying may have pushed him to telling the truth,  because deep down he did know that it was probably the last chance to tell Arthur the truth. 

i liked how they presented Arthurs reaction too, the clear message there was that Athur was angry at the lying, thats the part he saw as betrayal, not the magic itself. he didnt want to believe that Merlin was a liar, when he always saw him as the one person that was entirely honest with him. hell, he still trusted him enough to send him back to Camelot and Gwen so he knew Merlin wasnt evil. If the writers actually did a good job at developing Arthurs character, i feel like itd be more obvious that Arthurs stance on magic was different from his fathers, but yknow bbc and their shoddy writing. I love that moment of acceptance as well, when he tells Merlin that he doesnt want him to change. He doesnt even now about all the things Merlin sacrificed and lost in order to protect Arthur and Camelot but he still accepts him. I think that when he first fund out it was all like “holy crap i dont even know him” but after spending a few hours with Merlin he realises that its still the exact same person he knew the week before. 

anddddd as much as i like the way they did that magic reveal, the ending of the show left me with no closure and a lot of tears. my ideal magic reveal wouldve happened earlier, either at the start of season 5 or near the end of season 4. It would give us a chance to see them talk it out, and god we know that there would be arguing, and if arthur wasnt dying he would probbaly be shouting but the key part here is that arthur wouldnt hurt merlin. i think he culd consider sending him away if his father was still king just to protect him but we all know merlin would reply with “no <3″. but since i cant see the reveal happening when uther is king, i will be ignoring that scenario. and again, theres many ways this could play out.

the one way that ive always found interesting was arthur figuring it out on his own, because he may be an idiot, but hes not stupid. *if you like this sort of thing read “so close and im halfway to it  on ao3, its a merthur fic and the magic reveal in that one makes me cry so much and the fic is so well written* I feel like at one point, he would just put the pieces together, and it would all make so much sense to him? Merlins random disappearances and scars would make sense, the luck he had when it came to fights, Merlins weird reactions when someone mentioned magic, how on earth merlin of all people managed to survive every battle and fight arthur was in when some of his best knights didnt. 

then theres the very cliche “merlin using magic mid battle to save everyone” reveal. because its mid battle, i really cant picture them talking it out there lol,  i picture a lot of ignoring but also if other people saw him using magic, we all know the first thing arthur would do is give the knights a good old “if you kill him i will kill you and then myself”, it wouldnt be until later that they would actually talk. 

and then like the canon magic reveal, theres Merlin doing it on his own terms. i personally really like thhis one because it gives him so much more control over the situation and over his words. *another fic rec here if you like this sorta thing, its called “to the world that let you by” and its really beautiful and made me cry at 1am so there you go, and as you guessed it, its another merthur*. i love this reveal because it gives merlin a chance to explain, and arthur a chance to listen and try to understand. 

now there are loads of different sub categories that could go into those, like Arthur finding merlin creating butterflies out of thin air lol, but i wont go into those. whatever reveal would happen, i feel like “the talk” after would usually end up in a similar way. Arthurs reaction would be similar to what we got in the canon reveal, because the actual magic isnt what would hurt most.  it would be the lies. Arthur has been lied to and betrayed by so many people you cant really expect him not to react badly to being lied to. the magic sure would confuse him and put him in a difficult position, because you have to keep in mind that his entire life he has been told that magic is pure evil, and to him, merlin is the polar opposite of that. i think it would just make him question everything, like does he even know this man? has he won any of his battles or has it always been merlin? why is he in camelot? why would a sorcerer be serving him? but he wouldnt hurt him. he wouldnt even consider that imo, sure, he will demand an explanation, but he wouldnt actually thin about hurting him. 

and merlin would understand why hes angry about the lying, that much is obvious. and he would be reluctant to tell arthur about the things that were happening behind his back all those years, but he would be honest. and go that conversation would be hard for both of them, i cant really imagine them having it without a lot of crying, shouting and even more wine tbh. arthur isnt good at listening which is why this would be so hard for him too, but merlin has to be honest, completely honest with arthur for the first time in his life and thatd be difficult. 

and i think merlin would handle arthurs reactions well, even if arthur decided to lose his temper lol. but i can still imagine him being a bit bitter if arthur judged his choices and stuff when it came to poisoning morgana and freeing the dragon, asking what on earth HE would do in that situation. where the only choices he sees are bad ones, and he has to pick the one thats least evil. 

arthur would probably be most pissed off at the thing about his mother tbh, because merlin outright lied there, usually its just deflecting but he made that deliberate choice to lie. but i really do think he would understand all of this, while not every choice merlin did was good, he did it with good intention. 

and then arthur would remove the ban on magic and they would kiss and get married amd live happily ever aft-

My headcanon has always been that Alec figured out he was gay very early in life (I've ALWAYS been/I ALWAYS knew/I ALWAYS dreamed) which is... interesting bc visibility and representation must have been a huge issue when he was growing up. This sort of reinforces my interpretation that Alec has always been very in touch with his feelings and very honest about them (he only chose to hide/not act on them). Which is I think what Magnus figured about him from the very beginning ->

-> (it's rare to find a shadowhunter with such an open heart). Which is also funny and sort of on point bc Alec's siblings were widely mistaken about Alec's issues. It also explains why Alec doesn't have any major hang-ups about relationships or expressing his feelings, something a lot of viewers took an issue with (like why is Alec not emotionally stunted or things like that). That said, I keep thinking about Magnus and how he was exploring his sexuality. I mean imagine Magnus talking to his father. Magnus: I feel like I'm into both men and women 🤔 Asmodeus: Great! The amount of people you can seduce and murder has increased exponentially 👀 I mean, poor Magnus 💀

and u know i agree with u 100% on the Alec stuff, this is a hill I'm willing to die on, Alec knew that he was gay since forever, he wasn't lying to himself, he just chose to keep it to himself. he made that very clear every time he talked about it too, i always KNEW i couldn't get what i wanted, I've ALWAYS dreamt, like you said. key words always, knew, and wanted. he was extremely aware throughout the whole process and i can't see it any other way. Alec is terrible at lying and that includes to himself, hes painfully logical and aware and hes been trained to pay attention to his own body/reactions/thoughts and approach them logically and dissecate them from the very beginning. theres no way he was oblivious to his own feelings, or else his lies in s1 wouldnt be so clearly bad.

Alec is, for better or for worse, painfully self aware and that's something i identify with, possibly the part of him i relate to the most. he's struggling because he know it's not safe to come out and he's decided that he wont, so he doesn't, to anyone. but he knows exactly how he feels and that that's his choice. then, when he meets Magnus, he's confused, not because he wasn't ready to face that he liked men (he knew that pretty damn well) but because he was questioning whether he really wanted to go through with his "closeted for eternity" plan. and there was the whole marriage thing. but he wasn't confused about what he wanted, not for a second. he was confused about what he was going to do, and how honest he could be to Magnus about it.

and like you said that's why their transition into a relationship goes relatively smoothly. if Alec were in denial, it would be a lot harder for him to go from that to the Alec we see later on, who is very emotionally available and open with Magnus, who loves him openly and unashamedly, who threatens Maryse to make her respect him and their relationship, who bursts into Magnus' house like "hello lets have sex". Alec can fit into a relationship with so much emotional honesty because he's always been emotionally honest. he just chose not to tell people about it because he was in a place where that wasnt safe

as for Magnus! I hc that his sexual discovery went like, relatively smoothly. I mean he was raised in a recently-colonized Indonesia, which. okay had europeans out there trying to ruin things, but was very open and accepting of both gender and sexuality, and didn't have a binary view of either. and asmodeus wouldnt care because like you can't tell me that demons and angels give a shit about gender, even if by some odd reason they did have a gender system that's exactly like the modern western european mundane one. so i think that growing up, Magnus didn't have a lot of issues with his sexual & gender identity. It wasnt like "figuring out" and "coming out", more like it slowly became clear and he was like "okay". not a lot of denial involved.

I've talked about this here (sexuality) and here (gender) and there i put more sources and everything so I'm... gonna leave that here rjdndjdnfk but i think Magnus' self discovery wasnt the problem, the problem was the shock of getting to England after the Asmodeus Yeet and seeing how different things were.

i mean, he was no stranger to queerphobia (he had a dutch stepfather after all) but when he was a kid, the dutch didnt really manage to colonize Java and interfere with their customs because the javanese empires were stronger, so they were mostly settling by going there to trade, same as always. so Magnus didn't really have to live in a time where people had to hide who they were

and then he comes back from Edom and it's like. you will literally be executed for this. what in the fuck. people meet in like secret underground clubs, terrified of making every mood. some dont even do that and suffer alone. no one thinks this is weird. people act like its always been this way. what the fuck

and hes struggling because after he banished asmodeus he thought he could finally be himself, you know? escape the need to like get his approval and the fear of angering him, get away from his gross, manipulative claws - you get it. he thought he could breathe and be out in the open and live his own life, but he can't, because so many parts of who he is - his culture, his origins, his gender, his sexuality, the color of his skin, his heritage, his powers - are being constantly repressed by the meat grinding machine of early capitalism and colonialism, and it's like, wow.

so Magnus never really lied to himself, either, but he did learn how to hide, and do it well. he doesn't have a lot of internalized queerphobia in the sense that he thinks it's bad that he's trans and bi, but one of the most prominent results of queerphobia in his life (aggravated by a thousand other things) is that hes gotten used to bottling things up and compartmentalizing himself and his identity. hes learnt to be what ppl expect him to be, and to show them only what hes safe to. its instinctive for him, to hide certain parts of himself, be it his immortality, his queerness, or his pain. and it's one of the reasons he struggles so much to be fully open and honest with Alec about how he feels. it's why it's so instinctive for him to stop everything and hide because his glamour went down. he knows that Alec knows about it, but he's used to hiding the parts of himself that people dont want to see

and that's without throwing Camille and her abuse into the mix (which i talked more about in the aforementioned links. like not to self promote but i am pretty proud of those asks so you know) and of course Asmodeus himself, and how they also taught magnus to hide his weaknesses, not be honest, "stop whining", cut off his own feelings and thoughts to please them. again i talked about this in the links. okay ill stop idndidn

in short, Magnus never really struggled to come to terms with his identity, but he learnt quickly that he isn't palatable, and he never will be - not to his mom (even if again i dont think she killed herself because of him, but Magnus believes it), not to his stepfather, not to his father, not to mundanes, not to the white european queer community, not to anyone. so he knows that, to survive, he needs to be able to bottle things up, and even if the people he loves work hard to convince him every day that this isnt the case (Catarina, Raphael, Ragnor, Dot, Alec) old habits die hard

I hope this is okay to ask as it isn't really about demi but about romantic attraction, please feel free to not answer if you feel that this ask doesn't fit with this blog.

For about a year/ a couple months now I was slowly starting to overthing if I'm aro and it has been giving me so much stress it's honestly ridiculous.

Short story of important things in my life: I never really felt aromantic. Since a small child I liked the stereotypical films about princesses and princes and all that stuff. I had crushes on boys, at least I think so... For me it was being interested in the idea of dating them, to be specific.

Ages 13-16, so middle school here, I was getting aware that I was asexual- though I found this term only at the end of middle school as being a then christian in a largely christian country I honestly was largely unaware that lgbt was even a thing. I still liked the idea of getting a boyfriend, though I was getting aware it will be harder for me to find someone since the whole dont-want-sex thing. I was also largely imagining that if I find a person it will probably be someone I'm already friends with at least to some extent.

Well skip to me now, single for a few months now, after a 2-year relationship with my ex girlfriend and ex best friend... Somehow having a mild existential crisis if I might have not noticed that I'm aromantic, feeling like an impostor. The thing it, my ex changed their identity to demisexual, previously identifying as asexual during our relationship- which is totally fine and I had no issues with that, to be clear. Before she told me though, unconsciously I've been noticing we're a bit different in how we experience attraction and Istarted to fear if I should feel more, if romantic attraction should be a physical feeling and not just "I want to spend my life with them, I like being close and hugging, cuddling, kissing even if for the most part I don't feel anything physical from it." That maybe I don't know myself and I've been accidentally "faking". There was a period of maybe half a year when I did feel a bit more, but it could have been some leftover crazy hormones, I have no idea. I can also be rather reserved in public and so I preferred to save more intimate gestures than hand holding/a hug/ a fast kiss for a private place. Being questioned if I'm aro in the falling out part of the relationship really stung me and clearly didn't help with this issue, even though after some time she apologized, it's still eating away at the back of my brain.

So I'm writing all this to ask you, can you try to describe what romantic attraction is like to you? Do you literally feel something physically or is it more desires to be close to someone and thoughts?

Now that I'm single I'm scared of both never finding anyone again and of finding someone but making them feel unloved with how I express my feelings and messing it up again.

I dug at AVEN for answers too and found people describe romantic attraction both ways and I'm still not at peace with myself somehow, but maybe one more description will at least help with it a bit. I just want some internal peace :,(. I might be a bit desperate to find it.

Hi there! I’ll give answering this my best shot, but probably not in the way you exactly want. I don’t really know what romantic attraction is, but it seems highly variable from person to person. Some people like a lot of PDA, some don’t. Some people find cuddling important, others want to celebrate a lot of little anniversaries (first date, first kiss, etc). I think it really does differ from person to person. I’ve never even been on a single date, let alone developed a romantic attraction to a person. 

That being said, I feel like I have the answer for you. Have you, in all your digging on AVEN, heard of the term QPR? It stands for queer platonic relationship. A lot of exclusionists like to paint this as just being friends, but its deeper than that. 

See, a lot of aro people desire companionship and commitment but without the dating part. A lot of aro people want someone to give them hugs, hold their hands, or maybe even kiss, but without the expectation of romantic feelings or actions, like going on dates and such. This is where a QPR comes in, which is basically a very committed, platonic partnership. I love my best friend, but I wouldn’t move in with her, adopt a per with her, or put her on my life insurance plan as a beneficiary. Those are all things you do with a spouse or romantic partner, or a QPR. You wouldn’t need to counsel your best friend before taking a new job to see if it’s financially responsible to do so, you wouldn’t need to discuss moving across the country for different opportunities with them, you wouldn’t put them on your health insurance plan. You would with a QPR. 

Most human living is designed to be done, at minimum, with two people. Most human living is better done in communities, but I digress. Almost everyone wants companionship and life partners, but they don’t have to be romantic or sexual in nature. It is probably worth seriously considering if a QPR style “relationship” is something you might want. If you don’t care about having sex and don’t have romantic feelings towards anyone, then you might be aromantic asexual - aroace. That absolutely DOES NOT mean that you are doomed to spend the rest of your life alone.

Also, if you don’t think a QPR sounds right for you, or you try it and it doesn’t work out, then you can go through life having friends and connecting with family and being a member of your community without having relationships necessarily. I don’t have any romantic interests right now, and I really don’t need them since I am getting plenty of human connection with friends (both IRL and online) and through family. 

To sum up, I don’t know if there really is any consistent definition for how romantic attraction is expressed. Maybe it is physical, to some people it certainly is. Maybe you are aromantic and a QPR is what you need. Maybe you aren’t aro and are just a pretty reserved person who prefers to express romantic feelings outside of physical gestures - like making sure the house is always clean because that’s what your partner likes, and picking up the type of coffee they prefer when you know you’re out. Little things, that might not seem romantic but do convey a lot of love and appreciation and attention to your partner when they all stack up. I’m not sure, and it sounds like you aren’t totally sure either. But that isn’t an inherently bad thing. You can take the time to list out what you think romantic attraction is to you and how you express it. I did that with sexual attraction when I was exploring being demisexual. You don’t have to rush, and you certainly don’t have to panic. There is always time to figure it out, and there is not bad outcome here - just you, being more confident and settled in your identity.

This took a good long while because there was a retcon in November of 2015 that kinda forced Risri into hiatus. When I brought her back for the paper in 2016, some details changed but still this was an eye-opening exercise of how I’ve grown as both an RPer and a writer. Anything that does not have brackets is the same.

Character’s full name: Risri Elthron Reason or meaning of name:  combination of Mother's best friend's name (still alive) and her mother's sister who died - Rislana (best friend) and Kiari (sister). The Elthron family have mostly played a back seat in the history of the Kaldorei. {Both of these origins have kind of changed. Risri’s name became a place that her parents named her after, something that was important to her father’s family in an RP with her aunt. The last name Elthron was chosen by Risri during her exile her original family name is Kal’serrar.} Character’s nickname:  Ris Reason for nickname: just a short form of Risri

King of Prism SSS episode 11 commentary (Shin...)

Thankfully at least the Crunchyroll subs weren’t so bad this time. I mean, there was the usual weirdness, but no major mistranslations that effect the plot like that time. So.... great!!

(After last week my standards are so low....)

But anyway. A reminder that the commentary you guys are getting on these episodes now is coming from the place where I am after having two months to digest things. After seeing this in the theater I didn’t really want to talk about anything to anyone. HOW COULD I COMMENT ABOUT ANYTHING REMOTELY CASUAL WHEN SHIN IS SUFFERING. Was my thought. But... eventually............

I should have pointed this out last week, but did you catch that they added Dorachi to the OP?

So yeah, there are a lot of little moments in this episode that it took me weeks to even begin to think about (what with everything else that happens) and this is one of them. Joji leaves Jin so quickly once he’s not cheating at prism shows anymore. Haha I know this is just a gag scene probably but really! When you think about it in the context of that line Joji had last week that was like “He’s changed....” it made me realize that maybe Joji really does love the “do anything to win” Jin.

And since Jin isn’t interested in that right now, here we have Joji kissing Sanada. 

Jin doesn’t care about winning anymore. All Jin cares about is Louis.

The relationship between Jin and Louis is something I have a lot of questions about. Why is this a part of the plot? For what purpose? 

My only guess is it’s here to show that Jin can still love? Because he seems to really, truly love Louis. (Could you imagine him cradling one of the Shuffle boys after they failed a jump....) 

And this is all despite the fact that Louis also reminds him of his worst enemies, Hiro and Hijiri................. 

All of my past comments about how Shin changed things for everyone and how much everyone loves and believes in him have all been leading up to this moment. 

Even after what just happened, they all run to him without any sort of hesitation. They aren’t afraid of him. They all still love him. Edel Rose.  

For people watching this on TV, the titles of the episodes are all spoiled in advance. 

But for us watching in the theater, we didn’t know.

When I saw Part 4 the first time, I chose a bad seat in the theater on purpose. Front row, far right. Because I just wanted to be alone, and there was guaranteed to be nobody sitting next to me unless the theater sold out. The theater sold out. And there I was in the right corner craning my neck up at an angle to this GIANT screen immediately right before me. Watching this happen. Small and helpless. Terrible chills washed all over my body and I think it was the most horrified feeling I have ever gotten while watching fictional media. I will never forget it......

When I first watched this, I got the feeling that Shine had been floating in a void for a long time. (Maybe even the 1,000 years they always talk about.) But recently I realized, maybe it was just the amount of time Shin’s Mom was pregnant for? Since Shine wasn’t sealed that long ago (recent enough that Yamada-san knew him) it could be possible that he was sealed the instant Shin was conceived....?  

One of my biggest questions about Shin for the longest time was whether he was actually..... born or not. Since the date 2/29/2001 does not exist. But he was. And I am glad about that. 

This is the first time we learn Shin’s name is written 新.

Also Shin, when will you accept your megane destiny. 

(I guess he did in the last episode lol. But really, does he wear contacts...?)

So this is our Young of Prism reference. 

Shin did meet Louis on a night at his grandmother’s house when he woke up and saw sparkling light. But Louis didn’t exist yet at that time. It was Rinne.

This answered another one of my long-time questions about Shin. Where was he going? Why would he be out biking at night in casual clothes (not school uniform or sports uniform) in the middle of the night far from home? 

At one point I was so concerned about this (and his birth date not being real) that I wondered if he didn’t even exist before he was biking along the river. But he did. Shin had a normal, happy, real childhood. Ahhh........

I’m so glad it was confirmed to be canon. (Well, it was already briefly mentioned in Pride the Hero. But still.)

THIS WAS MY QUESTION 

Well, we finally got the answer in the last episode: Because the prism gods found out and changed Louis’ mission. 

But you can kind of understand why Shine was..... pretty pissed off at Rinne/Louis when he finally resurrected in the last episode...................................... to say the least........

So this was weird. Shine said “Rinne” before Louis said his line from Pride the Hero “we’re the same now”, but the subs make it look like it’s the same line....?

This is honestly the only thing in this episode which I think is flat out wrong though. There is some other weird/inconsistent wording of course but I mean seriously FUCK IT. THAT’S NOT IMPORTANT NOW.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but..... 

Subconsciously, in the back of my mind somewhere....  at that very moment when Ace says CHOU YABEEE..... he became my favorite member of the Shuffle. 

Just like..... Look at them. They’re all so happy. They didn’t look like this when they were with Joji. The best part about this episode finally airing on TV is that I can finally watch the new Shuffle’s performance on its own (without having to be forced to also watch.... the suffering....). 

I can’t wait for this full song to come out. Even though we only hear it for like 10 seconds it’s actually gotten stuck in my head before. 

And I don’t know if it was intentional, but I think having Ace perform in this episode is very ironic and incredibly significant. Because here we have Ace at his highest point while Shin is at his lowest point. 

Ace doesn’t know about Edel Rose and why they needed to win this. He’s on the top of the world. This is his moment. He’s finally getting to perform. The Shuffle is finally free from Joji. For the Schwarz Rose boys.... Ace is the hero. 

Since I am already on a roll talking about them, I guess I’ll bring up something I forgot to mention in my episode 5 commentary. When Part 2 premiered in theaters, nobody knew what Ace’s color was. People were actually using red, which would make no sense because Kokoro is red. You can’t have two members of the same group with the same color. But gradually people realized, due to the light blue A on his shirt and the light blue wrist band he has in some official art, that Ace is actually light blue. And here it was confirmed.

The interesting thing about this is, up until very recently Tsurugi was light blue. Only since his art for SSS he suddenly became pink. 

So when we first saw that SSS concept art.... was it hinting all along at this very performance? That Ace would become the new center?

I don’t know.

If you were scared or uneasy about it while watching it on your computer screen, imagine what it was like in the theaters. This performance effected me to the point where I had nightmares for about a week. And I’m not making a joke either. They weren’t the kind of nightmares I could describe, it was just like.... seeing bits and pieces of this show over and over again. I’d wake up panicked and have to watch something on YouTube, anything else, to try and get my mind off of it so I could sleep. 

And like I said in my original post, the thing is, I just cannot get over how good this prism show was....... at accomplishing exactly what it was supposed to do. Which I’m assuming is, to make you feel VERY VERY UNEASY. It is just...... I can’t even..... I......................

And of course. The worst thing. The worst thing was coming to terms with the fact that I.... liked..... it..... ?

Because if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t be thinking about it so much. 

If I didn’t like it, it wouldn’t have been stuck in my head FOR 24 TERRIFYING HOURS after seeing Part 4.

Shin(e) is not doing a chain of consecutive jumps like Taiga, Yukinojo, etc. did. Instead he split himself and is doing a whole bunch of jumps at the same time.

So, I gotta take a moment to make this clear. Since, to my horror, people were actually referring to him as Shin in this scene in the livestream chat.

He used Shin’s body and Shin’s voice. But this was not Shin’s prism show.

So, people who don’t actually follow me and/or just stumbled upon these posts may not know this. But Shin is (and basically always has been) my favorite. 

After Part 4 premiered in theaters, I had multiple friends in Japan send me messages to check if I was OK. It was even the immediate reaction of a girl I just met in the theater after I casually mentioned that Shin was my favorite. Like practically grabbing my shoulders ARE YOU OK. 

So. 

Am I OK?

No, but..... yes. 

By that I mean, I am not bitter that Shin does not get a new solo in SSS. In fact, I can recognize the irony, since up until this point Shin was the only Edel Rose boy to perform a proper show. And now he’s the only one who didn’t perform a new solo in SSS. So it’s even. Technically. 

So that is not what upsets me about this episode. What DOES upset me is how this emotionally effects Shin the character, who now thinks this was all was his fault when it wasn’t.....................

I personally have known for a long time that something like this would happen, and have basically been emotionally preparing myself since the Pride the Hero era. No, scratch that, even since the first movie era when I suddenly noticed the dark moon mark on the back of his neck in Over the Sunshine (which took me months). I just had a bad feeling. Something told me that loving this character would someday bring me pain. 

So if I truly loved him, I knew would have to be strong.

If you take the good, you have to take the bad.   

King of Prism SSS premiered in theaters in Japan after Taiga’s episode aired on TV, and right before Kakeru’s. In that gap, I came back a changed person. 

During the week of Kakeru’s episode I was just trying to feel normal again (while all y’all be sending me anon messages about whether we should pave over Africa or not FFS guys......). But from the next week onward was when I began to recover and was starting to want answers. You may have noticed, that was when I suddenly started talking about scores all the time.

Yes, part of it was trying to understand Taiga’s score and hoping it wasn’t lower for mathematical reasons since it later gets cut in half. But the truth is. The actual truth is. All that time I was trying to understand.... this. 

This zero right here has been weighing on me for a long, long time. Every time I brought up scores, it was always there. Looming at the back of my mind. 

For example, when I wrote “ I guess no matter what someone has to be last………………………….. ” in my episode 8 commentary, I wasn’t talking about Yu. 

So. Let’s discuss this. How can someone perform, as actually get up on stage, but end up with 0 karats? Clearly the audience did have a reaction to Shin(e)’s show..... 

But Kakeru said there wasn’t a system error. So it’s not that. 

According to June, if I understood correctly, it was judged based on Shine himself. There was no heart in his show. 

This lead me to question if this could explain some of the other character’s shows. How much does your own heart matter?

(According to this, it’s everything.)

No, I do not know why they still released a periodical update for a discontinued program. I guess there was a miscommunication in the prism IT department. 

(But I suppose it’s possible other Shines still exist in other worlds....? But I really don’t want to touch that right now.)

So, in case you didn’t fully understand the gravity of this, with the way the score is now it is mathematically impossible for Edel Rose to win.

Even if they get a perfect score with their unit show. 

Edel Rose has lost.

It’s over. 

So this was the moment when I forgave my idiot son Taiga.

Even after Shin got a zero, he still blames himself. 

And this may be a terrible way of thinking, but... I’m kinda glad they included this debacle with Taiga. Because it made it so this situation is not entirely Shin’s fault. (Technically it’s not his fault at all. It was Shine. But they don’t know that.) 

They treat it like everyone’s fault.... oh Edel Rose..... 

Also, my favorite moment in this episode and it has nothing to do with Shin. 

Kakeru offers Taiga his support.... 

And Taiga actually takes it.

“I am so happy you agreed to do this with me! When James asked me to prepare a Valentine’s Day edition of our newspaper I panicked! Thank you for saying yes, I can’t imagine interviewing any other couple for “Famous non-famous couples” than the most popular Hartfeld couple!” Reyna says excitedly, making herself comfortable on the couch and taking out her notebook. 

Amy puts a mug of coffee in front of her and sits next to Chris, smiling widely. 

“Of course! I would never refuse to help a friend and besides, it flatters me you think we’re the most popular couple.”

“And I’m always down to talk about how wonderful my fiancee is,” Chris beams, taking Amy’s hand and kissing it gently. 

“Aww, you guys are so sweet! Okay, should we get started? Are you ready?” Reyna asks from behind her glasses.

“Ready!”

“Great! I want to ask you about Activities, what you like doing together the most when you have free time?”

“Hmmm, I’d say everything!” Chris starts, “I enjoy Amy’s company so either we go to the cinema together, go for a walk with our dog, or simply study sitting next to each other, it’s all great for me!”

“Oh, hard same! I love simply being with Chris, whatever we do! But my absolute favorite thing is our evening walks! We never skip those, every single evening we take our dog out and we walk long distances and talk about our days and our plans. It’s amazing,” Amy adds and Chris steals a kiss while Reyna is noting what’s been just said. 

“And how do you Comfort each other? When one of you has a bad day, or panic attack, or is stressed, what the other person does to comfort you?”

“Amy gives the most amazing pep talks! She can motivate and inspire me like no one else. Anytime I feel down I can count on her listening to me and giving me the best advice and a motivational kick. I, on the other hand, I’m the worst at pep talking but I always make sure she can count on me too!”

“Chris is being too modest, he can give a decent pep talk! But most of the time he comforts me in a different way, he listens to me, gives me hour-long hugs, prepares a relaxing bath for me, makes me some hot cocoa and distracts me from being stressed.”

“Sounds like a perfect boyfriend,” Reyna notices and smiles warmy at them. 

“He sure is!” Amy chuckles and Chris scoots her closer to him. 

“She makes it easy, with such woman by my side, I can do everything!”

“The readers will love you! Okay, next question. Spill some tea, do you Fight a lot? Who usually starts arguments? Who’s the first to forgive?” Reyna asks and there’s silence for a few moments before finally Chris clears his throat and nods towards Amy to show who starts arguments more often. 

“Excuse me?” Amy notices what Chris was doing and pouts. “I don’t start arguments!”

“Yes, you do. Even the smallest thing can make you angry. Empty boxes? Argument! I don’t have enough time for you? Argument! I made plans without consulting you first? Argument and a breakup!”

“Okay, okay. Maybe I am too impulsive and overreact most of the time. The breakup was uncalled for, I admit. But I apologized for that already! And you must admit I was right to be mad at you when you kept forgetting about our dates.”

“Agreed,” he kisses her nose. “Fortunately, I hate when Amy’s mad so I try to come up with a compromise to end the argument.”

“That’s true! Chris hates conflicts and he’s the first one to forgive and to apologize. I’m lucky to have someone who can stand my mood swings,” she laughs and Chris and Reyna join her.

“So now let’s talk Jealousy! Do you get jealous over the other person? Who gets jealous more?”

“I think we both get jealous a little when there’s someone else flirting with the other one. I had to come to terms with the fact that my fiancee is a popular person and lots of guys want to talk to her each day. Luckily,” he takes her hand, showing Reyna the engagement ring Amy is wearing, “now everyone knows she’s mine, and only mine.”

“I must admit I felt very jealous when we all lived with Becca our Sophomore year! She’s Chris’s ex and even though he made it clear there was nothing between them, I still felt a little self-conscious and jealous.”

“I hope you know now that you’re the only one for me,” Chris looks at Amy and she nods.

“To be honest, I’m getting a little bit jealous over your relationship right now! Moving to the next question, do you guys want to get Married? How soon?” 

“Well, duh!” Amy shows her ring once again, “Of course I want to marry my bestie! He’s the best and I can’t imagine not spening my life with him!”

“I’ve come a long way since our Freshman year when I wasn’t sure I’d ever trust someone enough to marry them but with each day I fell in love with Amy more and more until one day it hit me, she was the one.”

“Awww, babe!” Amy snuggles closer to him and Reyna smiles at their cuteness.

“We hope to get married within the next two years; right now we’re looking for an apartment to settle in but I can’t wait to marry her and start our family together!”

“I wish you all the happiness in the world! And I hope I’m invited to the wedding. Now, tell me about Yearning. How do you cope when you two miss each other?”

“Whenever I go for championship, I facetime Amy every day and message her all day. I make sure I’m the first person she ‘sees’ when she wakes up and last one when she goes to sleep.”

“And I, on top of that, wear Chris’s T-shirts and jerseys! They smell like him and it makes me feel like he’s still there!”

“So that’s why I can never find my clothes! I thought I lost them all!” Chris exclaims and Amy laughs.

“Now you know! And I hope you’ll still let me keep them!”

“Ah, this will make a perfect article! Now I think I’ll just give a Wild Card!”

“I don’t think I understand what we’re supposed to do here?” Amy asks confused.

“Just tell me something sweet about your relationship! Something you haven’t talked about yet.”

“Well, there are many things but nothing in particular comes to my mind...” Chris bites his lower lip trying to come up with something when suddenly Amy jumps on the couch raising her hand.

“Ohh, I have something! Chris does it more every night and--”

“AMY! Remember we keep it PG-rated!” Chris shifted uncomfortably on the couch, nervously looking at Reyna noting something. 

“Oh, stop it, I wasn’t going to say anything inappriopriate! Anyway, as you know, Chris is like a walking furnace, he’s never cold and I’m his complete opposite! I’m always cold, I’m actually one of those people who wear socks to bed even in summer. So now, every time Chris goes to bed first, which happens pretty much everyday because I’m a night owl and I go to sleep an hour or two later, he lays on my side of the bed, wrapped in a comforter, even though it’s too hot for him, so that when I join him later, my side is all ready and warm. He’s been doing this ever since we moved in together the Junior year and I think it’s super adorable,” Amy explains and Chris blushes.

“Aww, this is so sweet of you Chris!” Reyna says which makes Chris even more flustered. 

“It’s not a big deal, I can’t let my favorite girl catch a cold,” he kisses the top of Amy’s head and Reyna sighs.

“Well, I wish I could ask you more but I’m afraid these are all of the questions I have prepared for you. Thank you so much for letting me interview you!”

“It’s been a pleasure,” Chris says and stands up helping Reyna with her things.

“If you ever need any help, just let us know!” Amy adds as Reyna waves her hand goodbye.

thinking abt the underdeveloped au i have in that weird off color fantasy universe that i realized is probably similar in ways to bloodborne even before i knew abt bloodbornes plot but this is nice bc i can solidify parts of it and i can probably also combine it with the knights au i have

somewhere located in present day west asia slash east europe theres a country divided into numerous states in which princes and princesses (princex (poc)/princen/etc for gender neutral options) are perpetually in contest with eachother for the right to be the divine ruler of the country

monarchy is not guided by blood, rather the church is responsible for finding the chosen candidates via prophecy, fururesight, dream interpretation, etc, and these kids are taken from their homes and reared as royalty the nature of this country is ... severe. pain is a gift, proof that one is alive. much ceremony is based in sacrifice, bloodspill, bloodsports, and pain endurance. magic as practiced by the church is extremely powerful in terms of healing so almost all wounds can be healed provided the heart still beats its essentially one big huge freakish cult of a country that has customs that seem barbaric to outsiders

the divine ruler of each state is the princens, though more often than not their councils do most of the governing with the princen merely being a puppet figurehead. they go through rigorous training to sharpen their minds and endurance against all types of pain, so training includes physical, mental, emotional trials in which the princen is supposed to keep a clear mind, concentrate on mediation or some mantra, bearing whatever is thrown at them. additionally they receive the best training in both combat and politics as well as magic. not all princen can withstand the requirements ofc so they.. vary quite a bit in terms of stability/constitution. its a p sick system even without the knights added in bc thats super messed up

the knights essentially belong to their princens in heart body mind and soul, and each princen receives exactly one knight soulbound to them. they also undergo the same scouting process once the princen is identified, and they undergo similar training except theyre also essentially brainwashed into believing their entire purpose in life is to serve and protect their princen no matter what. obviously this aint healthy! knights delude themselves into it so hard theyll fight for the system that literally abuses them! but thats how cults work

that being said knights are extremely powerful. they act as the sole bodyguard of their princen and believe me you dont want to get inbetween a knight and their prince. they are known especially for their brutality when their lords are threatened. it is extremely common for limbs to be lost in skirmishes btwn assailants and a knight

this takes us to the games! which are essentially gladiator coliseum type bloodsport contests between knights of different princens. its a pretty big affair like how the Olympics are for us so the fanfare the cheering the everything is all there i prob dont need to describe it in detail but its very violent. its considered practice for the knights before the true battle-royale type event thats even BIGGER bc it determines who becomes god-king of the country. this time the princen join their knights in the battlefield and basically whoever is left standing is the new king

is it worth it? probably not bc i think being king actually means being killed to be sent up to the heavens bc god kings dont need bodies any longer in truth the entire debacle is a distraction set up by the church to keep the country under its own control. its super corrupt. the council behind every princen is actually made up of high ranking church members that convene regularly to manipulate the politics of the region

but thats mostly the governing sphere of this world. the commonfolk are removed from most of this violence aside from the indoctrination by the church and the messed up religion they practice. a lot of the belief system here relies on this concept of karma and fate over free will. fate is oppressive, cannot be changed, but god do they try that belief ties into how princen and knights are fated to be pairs, how princen are fated to either ascend to godhood or die trying

but there is one way to manipulate fates in this world there exists in independent of the church a monastery that practices the art of transferring karma. think of karma as a type of currency that can be spent, saved, used, etc. lots of good karma may be distributed amongst loved ones via a ritual headed by a monk, or bad karma can be "paid off" essentially. the amount of good/bad karma a person has directly affects their fortune and luck. this practice is more or less outlawed by the church but the monastery is slowly gaining power over the commonfolk and the church mostly leaves the poor folk to rot anyway- their agenda mostly concerns the monarchy

altho i can definitely see tensions rising with the witch hunting as influenced by the church. particularly nefarious visions may result in blame being thrown around and commoners getting killed for crimes they have yet to commit and thats thanks to the teachings of the church

anyway as of rn though the monastery is still pretty small but it is an old, ancient organization with magic that runs far deeper than the magic of the church. it is a much more subtle magic- monks practice little offensive magic (they are a nonviolent sort anyway) but the ability to exchange karma is rare and has far more reaching impact in the long run i imagine they have strongholds further to the east but anyway theres one trump card the monastic order has

a subsection of the order is dedicated to the keeping of miracles. and miracles are... monsters! they are semi-physical manifestations of literal suffering and the sheer emotional energy provided by them is enough to give miracles the power to.. well. perform miracles.

when a person dies in anguish, there is a chance that their bodies will not decompose the way they are meant to. instead they slowly dissipate, bodies turning coal black and ashen to the touch. these cannot be disposed of the normal way (curses, contamination, all kinds of horrible things happen) so instead these corpses get locked up inside brick cells within the monastery

once, one of these was opened only to reveal that the bodies were gone- only a humming, massive shadow that seemed to move as if made of flies or soot combined. and it spoke, too. this was the first miracle created it was discovered then that these creatures had immense power but could not leave the rooms they were imprisoned in, touch sunlight, and similarly they could not die

imagine like the witchs nightmares in pmmm and you get what its like to be a soul trapped in a miracle. u get to relive ur worst fears and regrets forever. it suck miracles also cannot direct their powers towards their own will, only the will of others. ofc they are still monsters and exact a price for their services, whatever it may be.

a meeting with a miracle does not come cheap or without consequence, bc although miracles can be performed, karma always rebalances itself in the end. monks tasked with guarding and curating the miracles are called gatekeepers and are often someone close to one of the souls trapped in the vortex anyway i think thats the basics of everything in there... i got an au w cyrus as a prince and alex as his knight and instead of sticking around for their inevitable deaths the pair run off into the countryside far far away

actually i think something went wrong in the ceremony. cyrus and alex win godkingship of then... something goes wrong. probably the whole die-to-ascend thing is a secret kept from the princen and the public and. alex does a thing a knight should not do a refuses to let the ceremony continue. and im p sure as soon as cyrus learns of the truth hes like haha well fuck that

then they spend the rest of their days actually experiencing what life is like outside of a freakish cult and my fucking feels

i think.. meanwhile the monastic order grows in influence and power making them the enemy of the church... and jonah (yonah in this au) sacrifices himself to the miracle containing his brother in order to give the miracle a corporal form. which means august and company now have a physical conduit for all that power they had.

bad news for the church! bc august was unrightfully killed bc of a prophecy saying that hed become a huge threat and a killer

funny how prophecies work!

so now hes out for blood and he probably uses his own charisma and power to stage a coup against the church and basically the country goes to hell and i think at this point cyrus thinks. i got out of there alive. i need to do something about this. so he and alex probably join in and become arbiters of the game esp since cyrus and alex were probably the best synced, most skilled prince/knight duo the church had seen up to that date so theyre very powerful. ofc theyre still only two people so i really wonder how theyll step in btwn these two opposing parties

augusts side isnt good either bc august... is only out for revenge and self interest. he has no interest in fixing the country or helping anyone in fact once august is firmly seated on the throne of power he probably declares himself god-king anyway the end game probably looks like augusts body (which is jonahs body) being destroyed and the miracle contained in it finally put to rest jonahs soul must have something to do with the exorcism process- theyve tried to exorcise miracles before and only ended up upsetting it into violent outbursts anyway thats enough rambling from me time to paste this all into a blog post

god what if august picked keith to be his knight. thats messed up. keiths so easy to manipulate and hed be such a wildcard of a knight. he has more magic potential than alex and hes faster on his feet. im imagining bloodlust frenzy almost hyena-like behavior. also i mostly just want to see keith being violent and evil and i have an outfit in mind that would look great with a little splash of red

miracles i think in this case are definitely more of a means to an end i think narratively ie jonahs brother being killed and augusts soul being trapped within it- tho i think its a good tie-in into how the severe paranoid cultish way the society works ends up producing a lot of People Dying In Extreme Anguish

almost a buildup of sickness so to say.. a plague of the soul that's a cool avenue to go down tbh the idea that miracles are more like viruses spreading misfortune in the long run for some quick gain in this life but bc karma always collects her debts if i throw in some nice reincarnation that would effectively damn someone in their next life... that implies that this story may need to expand across different generations

mechanics being so much bullshit has happened in this country it houses multiple miracles whereas elsewhere its like one, or none, very few in their histories except possibly during wartime and famine

since magic is Exists in this it makes sense that the emotional energy combined w ambient energy would manifest in some kind of grotesque Being

oh no thats maybe why the church is manipulating things by purposely generating that emotional trauma in its society its producing unprecedented amounts of energy they can utilize as magic power oh  no thats super bad august would definitely take advantage of that bc hed definitely figure the truth out once hes back to being alive

summary: Y/N has always been a sweet girl always seeing the light parts in everyone rather than focusing on the darkness riddled inside them. Min Yoongi is filled with this darkness not allowing the light to shine through making him remain in a bitter state. Both come together due to work, bumping heads along the way but she wont let that define there relationship. Y/N seeks to have Yoongi open up and talk about his dark past so the light will finally be able to shine through. Or will Yoongi keep it sealed shut for anyone's eyes.

A/N: So i had a lot more to add but just thought that i would make this a series so this is part 1, so more to come man. Hopefully it doesn't suck to much! Side note i was listening to my music and the Tokyo Ghoul theme song came on and i lost it

You mostly will come across people in your life who will change you in either a negative of positive way. Hopefully along the way you find the positiveness along the high road. You may perceive this person as a lonely faced strange as did i. I had the grateful opportunity of having someone coming into my life and enhancing my perspective on things. Surely enough things were likely to crash and burn, you see our acquaintance was sort of bitter sweet. We were polar opposites, yet we managed to come to terms with it eventually. At the start of it all it was clear to see that we weren't a a perfect collision.

"Well, it seems to me that you appear to be the perfect fit for the job. I look forward for your future work ethics apart of our businesses."

I looked up anxiously feeling the relief soon take over my veins. I had been fidgeting in my seat attempting to seemingly have everything figured out. In reality i had been chipping at my cheap nail polish finding it as some sort of calming reassurance. I had been beating myself up over this interview grasping onto any opportunity to be somehow associated with them. I had been involved with cooking since my grandmothers baker opened long ago. Since a teenager I had been working there with a smile painted on my face but my grandma saw past that. After hours i would look at the newspapers and find any articles referencing the restaurant I dreamed to work at. My grandma wanted me to strive for excellence making her arrange this very moment.

"Oh thank you sir i promise i wont disappoint."

I had managed to hold a professional exterior while my whole interior was bursting from excitement brought to you by the excelling news. I got myself up from the uncomfortable chair fixing my skirt in the process making my way over to him to shake his hand in gratitude.

"It is a pleasure to work for you sir, thank you for the lovely interview."

I shook his hand firmly before making my way to the door. I reached my hand to the door nob before my actions came to a halt of a voice.

"Oh yes Mrs., i forgot to inform you that you will be the assistant chef of Min Yoongi meaning you will prepare the side dishes and care to his needs. I'm sure you will fit right in."

It was as if my eyes had lost a slight bit of hope. Hope that was seeking to create my own main dishes ones that would make peers mouth water with delight. Maybe this interview was to far fetch, what was i expecting for it to all be handed to me. I actually need to work for it and show people i was capable. It might be a long journey of someone who is gonna boss me around and lecture me about my capability but its all about my excellence. In the end i have the opportunity of working at my dream job. So i didn't imagine the roll that i got would be this but at least they saw something in me and i aimed to do something with it.

After the interview i left with a very evident smile painted on my face. I was lucky to work for them and i couldn't wait to tell others around me about my rising career. I had been on the city bus standing up awaiting for an open seat. I scrolled through the notifications looking for a simple text from my roommate Hobi.

seriously Hobi this is still a big deal to me. Cant we get at least a little drunk. Or at least text me back.

I frowned looking at the lack of reply. Me and Hobi met from working at my grandmothers bakery. We were both hormone filled teenagers being suffocated by life. We had our moments most of them remained intimate till we reached our early twenties. Since then we see each other as nothing more than best friends. I mean the occasional kiss would come along but it was always seen as a friendly demeanor.

I looked up searching for any open sits since the next stop was approaching. The doors open as people flooded as others seek for there way out. I diverted my eyes to every possible corner looking for an available sit till i found one. I rushed my way over knocking few people out of the way before i was met with my destination. Before i knew it i felt a pair of slumping shoulders push me from the spot i was wishing for.

By this point we were both half way in the seat looking at one another in the eye. I would say from first glance he was truly attractive but his actions showed the true disgust lurking in his system. Me being the naturally problem free person i am i chose to distinguish the problem by having a civil conversation to resolve everything.

"Excuse me,but i was seated here first. So could you ever so kindly get up from my spot please."

The male looked at me with wide eyes as if what i had said was an absurd option. The male tilted his head looking at me with the same bored expression taking in the situation.

"I have you know that i was here first. So why dont you remove yourself from the situation and leave me to be. Your company is clearly not needed."

I clutched onto my jacket as the words left his mouth that didn't seem to phase him one bit as it did for me. I opened my mouth to say something be chose to get up instead and nod my head. Maybe he could have been having a bad day, he doesn't have much power over his actions in such a bad state. Possibly something happened through out his day. Lets not let this one preposterous situation define him. After my final thought i carried on with a smile standing up not minding the evident stares shared by him and other people seated on the city bus.

The bus had reached my destination as i followed out the door of other seeking the go home safely. I had been walking down the street about to turn the corner of my apartment complex before a voice brought me out of the process.

"Are you following me? Okay lady i get that i didn't give up my seat at the bus but this is just absurd."

I turned my head to be met with the male that sat on the bus. I exhaled slowly at seeing his being back in my presence. Its not that he wasn't attractive he certainly was, It just half of the things that he would say would come out in nonsense that set out to run in someones day. I couldn't tell if he truly set out to do such things, but it seemed like it would take a lot of prying to understand the damage that has possible been done.

"I actually live in this apartment complex, im sorry to burst your bubble but i dont have the will power to actually stalk you."

I know the comment i had said was slightly snippy making me cringe at the fact that i even let those words erupt from my mouth. Judging by his still bored facial expression it didn't seem to effect him. I hadn't liked the fact of hurting someone in any type of way it being emotional, physically mental etc. What was the point of bringing someone else self confidence down by broken words, but judging by the man the stood before me he didn't live by these rules.

"Whatever, just stay away from me you nut bag. I dont want to be associated with people like you."

"Like wise."

I displayed a kind hearted smile before taking the short cut of the apartment complex not wanting to have the liberty of running into him again.Due to my abundant disappearance it was clear that he wasn't finished with the conversation. Im sure he gets people riled up all the time each person displaying the same reaction as for i, I dismissed his ignorance and replaced it with a striving goodness. This simple behavior was sure enough to cause his efforts to back fire and make him even more agitated. I didn't pay him any mind as he shouted profanities at me longing for my attention, one he did not seek.

I had reached the apartment with a short of breath. I had ran some of the was afraid that the male would actually try and find me again just to fill my ears with his ignorance. I fished for my keys hearing the pleasant clanking of the keys. I shoved the key in the lock before twisting the door open. I was greeted by darkness as i closed the door confusion filling my system. I felt around for the light before turning it on and seeing a passed out Hobi on the couch with half of a bottle of wine. I chuckled at his ways looking around the apartment being met with a congratulations banner and party hats missing the warm head of there owners.

I reached over to Hobi to wake him out causing a small animistic noise to come from him. Hobi opened his eyes diverting them around the room before he locked eyes with me puffing his cheeks out and clinging onto me for dear life.

"Oh Y/N im so sorry i didn't reply to your texts but i was gathering everything for the surprise. I had been waiting for you so long that i some how opened the bottle of wine and fell asleep."

"Yea im sorry i got into an altercation on the bus."

Hobi let go of me looking me over with a confused look while the other half of his body still remains in a drunken haze.

"Why are you so late? What could you possibly do for the past couple of hours?"

"I ran into this guy on the way."

Hobi looked me over with a knowing look. This look meaning that he was hinting at me getting laid, being completely false. Hobi would often get jealous at these comments of me having sex with someone else that wasn't him. He would play it off fairly well but what lurked beneath him was unspeakable, better felt untamed.

"Was he cute, cuter than me?"

"Of course not Hobi."

I smile at the comment leaving my mouth seeing the viable happiness display his features. Sure the brooding stranger was cute but he lacked the happiness that lurked in his system. Maybe i could find a way to actually add some amount of sweetness into his system rather it being strictly bitter.

I brushed off the though focusing back on Hobi and planting a kiss to his cheek forming a blush. I patted his head making my way to my room, as i made my exit Hobi faintly announced that he would be driving me to work on my first day. I rolled my eyes playfully at his sincere comment before settling in my bed and letting the sleep take over my system.

Me and Hobi had been arguing over directions in the car for over a half an hour struggling to find the right coordinates to my destination. We originally stopped at a local fast food place willing to sell us breakfast and since then we had been on our lost journey. Luckily me and Hobi had a some what amount of hope in our system striving for good things. With this mindset we managed to reach the destination at hand with a small huff.

We were seated in the parking lot as i closed my eyes while Hobi whispered reassuring words. I had been extremely nervous due to the amount stress and worry i had built up over the years in anticipation of finally being apart of the company name. It felt as if at any moment i could crush the company name and my name as well. Times like this it felt like all my hope had ran out and naturally i was a very optimistic person taking very little to bring me down. While i was lost in my own anxiety and stress built up over this Hobi still remained with a smile bright on his face holding me sweetly and making me feel slightly at peace.

"I dont think i can do this, lets just go back home."

Hobi's smile had completely vanished as those words left my mouth turning into a bewildered look. Hobi turned my body to face his making sure he captured my attention. Hobi's hands soon grasped my face looking into my eyes as he let the heartfelt words leave his lips.

"I dont ever want you to say something as absurd as that again. You can do anything, you are the most talented person i know and you need to put that to use. I want you to go out there and show everyone in that building what the talented Y/N can do, im sure they will be stunned. Not only by your amazing efforts but also from your beauty. You'll do amazing, trust me. Trust your hop, im your hope."

Hobi finished his sentence by flapping his hands pretending he was an angel making a giggle irrupt from my system. Hobi smiled at my small amount of happiness displaying.

"Thanks Hobi that means a lot."

"Dont mention it now go in there and kick some ass! Show them what my girl is made of."

And with that he kissed me on the cheek and motioned me out the door waiting for me to begin my work journey. It was alone to take in but with Hobi's encouraging words im sure tings couldn't turn out as bad as i persevere them to be. Think positive and everything around you will turn positive.

Oh how wrong could i have been. Everything had started out decent. Meeting with the boss and arranging my uniform was possibly the highlight of the day that hasn't even begun. I sported a smile on my face as i fixed my uniform that fit my body rather tightly but put it off as i exited the bathroom. I rounded the corner meeting with the boss to met the chef that i would be assisting. This is where it had all began to go down hill. I glanced up to be met with the same slugging shoulders i had been met with last night and by the tense glare on his face he remembered me as well.

"Oh i assume you know each other." The boss said glancing at us with a small smile

"Oh yes, we are merely acquaintances. Sad that we had to met again at such sort notice."

I mentally rolled my eyes at his behavior and how hostile he was being especially in front of our boss. I haven't even know this guy for a full 24 hours yet he was already getting under neath my skin, but i wasn't gonna let him know that and accept that victory.

"Oh,is this gonna be a problem?"

"Oh not at all sir. I promise this wont affect business affairs."

With that the boss left with a small nod as i smiled turning back to the broad shoulders guy. He looked down at me with a curious expression as if he was trying to read me but was failing at trying to retrieve information.

"Why do you smile all the time. It very off putting."

"Its better than having a permanent scruff on my face all the time. Rather spend my life happy then limping around for nothing."

I smiled politely in his face showing no sign of his effective words. I could tell that the words that i said were having a problem building up over him. It was as if i was the one truly getting under his skin, oh how the tables have turned.

"Hello, Im Y/N and your name is?"

I decided to dismiss the awkward encounter to be passed us and move strictly to work, after all it was my first day and i didn't seek to cause any trouble. The male looked at me choosing not to answer my question as he was still in his brooding phase. I looked at his name tag closely since he decided not to answer. ‘Min Yoongi’ i whispered to myself. I looked back up and flashed a smile at him holding my hand out.

"Okay there is seriously something wrong with you."

"Oh no, nothings wrong with me i just chose not to continue with such rude behavior at work. We have no need to treat each other so rudely."

"Yeah, im gonna have to disagree. I dont like you, meaning i dont want to be associated with you. I dont want you to be nice to me, in fact treat me like shit or dont talk to me. Simple as that."

Min Yoongi placed my hand back at my sides eyeing me carefully as he let those words fly from his mouth awaiting for my answer. I knew what he was trying to do. It must have been a retrial where he would try and break people down with his words seeking for them to hate him. It was a weird craving to saw the least but if it filled him with satisfaction, may he be.

"Well looks like we just wont talk to one another. Such a shame you seemed like a joyful person to talk to. Maybe next time."

I titled my eyes placing a small frown on my face signifying the sadness in my voice. Min Yoongi smirked at my words taking them as a competitive tone. Was this what he saw it as? A game. All he wanted to do was push my buttons but i would show no distress only making him boil even more. I guess i sort of morphed itself into a childish game to see which one of us could break first. I took the lead.

"So that um, guy outside waiting in the car with you. Was that your boyfriend."

I looked over at him with a confused facial expression that that sentence dared to leave his mouth. Had his past words were just a sign of flirt, if it was he surely has a weird way of showing his emotions. I could tell he was a bit flustered but still remained that tough exterior as i wondered what was held inside. He did seem like he was totally different from the inside and i aimed to get inside of there, no matter how hard.

"Table 12 ordered this, please try not to make any mistakes they were very snippy."

My thought was cut short as the waiter approached us in the kitchen giving us the order. Min Yoongi completely dismissed his previous comment as he began eyeing the order and preparing the dish not minding me any businesses.

"Okay ill work on the side dish."

"I rather have you do nothing so you wont mess anything up, but i guess you have to be some what useful."

I huffed at his comment making him smile in victory earning himself a point of the score board. I hated when people would question my ability, i already questioned myself enough about i didnt need other peoples input. As usual i put a smile on my face and pushed it aside focusing on what i can make of the situation. I could either prove him wrong or let him have the victory of seeing the disappointment in my face. I aimed to set out with the first choice as it seemed more promising.

I had been working on the side dish for a few agonizing minutes putting as much passion as i could muster. I could feel Min Yoongi's judgmental eyes steady on me and i could tell he wanted to add his input but for what ever god given reason he didnt, thank you. Yet i could still hear his thoughts provoking me at ever move.

'That’s to much seasoning'

'add more salt we dont want the dish to be as bland as your face'

'You call this a meal, it looks like the trash resembling your face.'

'You might as well give up now. you'll go now where in life with this profession'

At that final stop i decided to motivate myself harder. I had a secret weapon that no one else had. I had stuffed my grandmothers special seasoning into my bra. I know it is a very absurd place to hold something in but i was in a rush this morning. The seasoning will surly enough send anyone's taste buds into pure euphoria. I carefully pulled out the concoction from my bra adding a dash into the dish.

"What the hell are you doing? Did you seriously just pull that out of your bra? Are you trying to kill someone, are you a spy, I knew you were a stalker."

I glanced over my shoulder meeting the eyes of Min Yoongi as his eyes traveled to the seasoning in my hand. I guess it was a little weird carrying this around in my bra but it came in handy. I dismissed his comment and kept applying the seasoning, only making him freak out more.

"What the hell do you think your doing! For all i know that could be crack and your smuggling it into the food."

"Calm down. Its nothing out of the ordinary, its not going to harm anyone."

Min Yoongi looked at me as if i had two heads eyeing the small package i had in my hand. It did look slightly suspicious but it had good intentions. Min Yoongi began to reach over for my dish attempting to make his repairs making me protest placing the dish in front of me. Min Yoongi backed up behind me attempting to reach the plate but failed miserably. We ad been arguing over the plate that we didnt even notice that the waiter took it along with Min Yoongi's dish leaving us in an awkward stance.

Min Yoongi's hands hand been along my waist and his entire back side pressed against my ass. I hate to admit it but it wasn't a bad feeling. Sure the circumstances were but over all it felt like an overwhelmingly good experience, one that was cut all to sort. Me and Min Yoongi raced over to the door peeking out the door window to see the reactions.

I had to remain on jumping cause i couldn't reach the door windows making Min Yoongi chuckle. He reached over and guided me in front of him and placing my feet on his shoes causing a bust in height. The simple gesture made me smile, maybe he did have a sweet side to him and he was finally accepting it.

"Im only doing this so you can see you frailer commence."

And there it goes. At least it lasted for some amount of time rather than none. He truly was a good guy at heart, well at least thats what i could assume about him. I didnt like seeing the worst in people, I rather point out the good no matter how bitter hearted he was. Deep down inside he had to be kind hearted you just had to search for it. I could faintly feel his heart beating against my back making me let out a content sigh. I was gonna find the good in him i knew it.

"Oh shit, hurry move."

Min Yoongi quickly moved from the door turning to his previous stance before the waiter left making me stumble before copying Min Yoongi's actions. The waiter searched around the room before facing me and Min Yoongi. I looked at the waiter in an anxious glare waiter for his question.

"Which one of you made the side dish?"

"It was her, all her idea.I had nothing to do with it. In fact i tried to stop her."

I looked at Min Yoongi and how fast he acted in ratting me out. What did i aspect this was his typical behavior and i let one solemn moment decide other wise, a moment that didn't even mean anything. I closed my eyes letting out a shaky breath accepting defeat feeling the smirk creep on his face. The waiter looked at me seeing if it was true waiting for my response.

"Yes sir, it was me."

The waiter pulled out his notepad and wrote down the information before disappearing out the door for good this time. I diverted my eyes around the room to nervous to even deal with Min Yoongi comments of despair, but i knew that wouldn't stop him.

"Look what you did your probably cost us our jobs now."

There were more comments after that one but i decided to tune them out already knowing they were true but not wanting to come to terms with the fate. Min Yoongi grew tired of my silence turning me to face him placing his hands on my shoulders firmly.

"Yes, i understand what i did might effect us but can you please stop giving me shit about it. I already feel bad enough please stop making it worst."

Tears began welling in my eyes as i spoke my words softly afraid my voice might crack making myself seem even more weak. I had let myself down along with him. I deserved to be called names and be written for my wrongs but i could only take so much. That was possibly the biggest difference between me and him. I was living in a hopeful word rely on the faith of the unbelievable while he lived in the truth and cruel world, pointing everything out. I just couldn't handle it.

Min Yoongi was stunned by my new emotions making his face soften and his hands come to his sides not knowing how to react. Min Yoongi opened his mouth to say some sort of an apology but couldn't muster one. I didnt blame him his whole persona was based on telling people the harsh reality and not blinking a bit as the person accepts there faith.

"Y/N may you please step into my office."

Me and Min Yoongi looked over to the boss as i let out a tiny whimper.

"Wish me luck."

I said to Min Yoongi sarcastically with a saddened smile before making my way into the office. I closed the door behind me before sitting down in front of the desk. Hopefully luck would be by my side today, but even i knew that was to far fetched.

"I want you to be head chef, with a dish like yours you certainly deserve it. Then again you have just began working for us so i want to give you some time before we take such substantial steps."

I looked at the boss with wide eyes surprised by his out spoken words. Had they really left his mouth and were they the truth. He as right i had just began working here and he has only had a small taste of my abilities yet hes willing to see the potential leaking from my veins. I was honored to say the least.

"As for Min Yoongi, we believe he could do better. Hes been seeking for head chef for the majority of his career and we dont want to give up on him yet. Then you walk in and show us what we were truly looking for. I feel it is unfair that you oz such rare talent as he is stuck creating his own-"

The conversation had took a slightly sad turn. Focusing on Min Yoongi and his struggles.I began thinking of how truly unfair it was to walk in and demand someone of there long awaited dream. Sure Min Yoongi was bitter but something was down there beneath it all and maybe this promotion was what could bring it out. I could help him, sure he wouldn't like it but it would support him in the end.

"It will be an honor to teach him my skill, sir."

The words had slipped out my mouth with no control.

"Oh, um why yes. Let me just call for Min Yoongi to discuss the situation."

I could tell that he was shocked by my abundant words interrupting him from his speech. I had hope in Min Yoongi hope that other people didnt see and i aimed to help guide him. As he walks into the door he looks at me anxiously still thinking of the previous altercation i presume. His eyes then flicker to the boss his once anxious expression turning to a stone cold one.

"Now, Min Yoongi Y/N has graced me with the beautiful idea of her training you. Now i know this may sound absurd but hear me out. Her dishes are amazing and i feel like you should take note on her skill. Min Yoongi it has come to my attention that lately that certain areas in the kitchen isn't your strong hold and you need hel-"

"You need an understanding of other cooking styles. Thats what he means by the other areas around the kitchen and i think i can help with that. I can introduce you with the different diversities rather focusing on one single plan dish."

The both looked at me confused, Min Yoongi slightly irradiated by my comment. I wanted to save him the despair of our boss going on about how Min Yoongi had failed him at his efforts as i was being praised only just getting here today. It was enough to effect someone and question there motives.

"What do you mean? I am perfectly capable of doing everything on my own. I dont need your help nor do i strive for it. I dont appreciate you trying to help me when i can handle everything on my own."

I hung my head low making slight eye contact with our boss as he makes daggers at Min Yoongi's immature ways. I still wanted to help him after the small amount of shit he puts me through leaving me to deal with it.

"Y/N are you sure you want to go through with this?"

I nodded my head slightly feeling Min Yoongi's pupils glaring at my head in irritation. Any person would say i was being overly nice and have Min Yoongi accept his own faith rather me deciding for him but i say potential in him. You just had to look very close and i wasn't aiming on giving up on him just yet. He couldn't get rid of me just yet.

Yet.

"I cant believe you are actually doing this. I am perfectly capable on my own."

Thats what you think. If people actually opened there ind about you, you would finally understand.

"I know, i just feel like its okay to open your eyes to more opportunities. Like making different types of food and getting to know me."

I smiled and nudged his shoulder lightly earning a very small smile on his face making me gasp. We were already in a close tight net area due to riding the subway. Making it easy to see is every move and facial stretch.

He quickly denied it waving it off as if it was nothing. I smiled lightly looking over his features. He was truly attractive, I awaited to his beauty inside as well as i still seek to unleash it. I had roughly chipped the surface at his small smile. I was already eager for more.

"Stop staring at me. Its very creepy."

"I know you you secretly love it."

I smiled up at him smiling brightly in a joking manner. He playfully rolled his eyes some attaching his hand to mine. My heart jumped at the small gesture that seemed like a big step in whatever kind of friendship we had. He genitally rubbed his thumb across my hand showing a small amount of affection, this being very rare.

"Im only doing this because your hands seemed cold."

"Does this mean you actually care about me? Your showing a small amount of affection to me, caring about my well being. Im flattered."

Min Yoongi scrunched his face attempting to deny everything coming out from my mouth. He ended his long rant with a boop on my nose sitting back in the chair making me rub my nose. The subway had run oddly silent and sort of calming as people began to make there way out from the train. Soon the subway filled less people making it enough space for me and Min Yoongi to stretch around yet we stayed in our spots. I dragged my hand away from his as i began to play with his hair, a habit i had picked up due to Hobi. I began to hum softly.

"Why are you always so nice?"

My gaze quickly shifted to Min Yoongi as he began talking suddenly. I looked over him seeing as his eyes fixated on me as if they were the most caring and valuable in the world. It was odd to see him in such a trance, especially because of me.

"Well, I guess i just to prefer to see the light instead of the dark in people. Like you, you focus on the dark themes that float inside you rather than the light that is waiting to be a woken. I know its in there somewhere, we just got to look for it."

I hadn't meant for those words to slip from my lips as i saw Min Yoongi tense at the words. He slowly sat up at those words and took my hands from his hair, seeing the tense state took over his whole body.

"We?"

"Im sorry i didn't mean to say we, i didn't mean to scare you off or anything. Its just i dont like seeing this state of such bitterness and i can just sense that there is someone better and-"

"I've been by myself since the beginning. I haven't really had anyone else by my side to back me up or dig me out of this whole I've been trapped in. It just a really foreign feeling is all."

My eyes began to soften at his way of opening up in front of me. I had managed to crack the surface, but just the surface. I hadn't dived down yet still testing the waters afraid what might be lerking beneath them. I could sense the his tense state was cooling down as he began letting out what had been hiding inside him, guessing he hadn't really had anyone to tell his struggles to. As Min Yoongi spilled part of his demons to me he looked over at my body language silently cringing making me straighten up.

"Oh god,you feel sorry for me. Listen im not a pussy i dont need your pity."

Min Yoongi had then switched back on his rough exterior making me let out a sigh in defeat. At least i came semi far,i unlocked something. I looked over his body language trying to come up with a subtle approach.

"What, pity you? I could give less than a fuck about you."

We stared at each other as my comment had left my lips. I hadn't wanted it to come out that hard as i winced at my vulgar language. He hadn't said anything making me not move a muscle, all until i felt like i was about to explode.

"Im sorry I didn't mean for it to come out like that. I honestly do care about you, your my co-worker so naturally i do. Min Yoongi you are honestly an asshole but i cant help but show some ounce of sympathy whenever you endeared pain rather in the past or present."

My blurt seemed to tug his heart strings as he his hands on my knee turning slightly to get a better look at me. He winged my legs over his own making me in an even closer proximity than before. Why would i complain. Our faces were centimeters apart as he rubbed my knee ever so slightly raising up to my thigh.

"Call me Suga. All the people i care about often call me that."

He sported a warm smile and proceed to call me cute attempting to get rid of the fact that he had said he cared about me, but i couldn't forget. He had actually cared about my well being and that state it was in. It had brought a new form of affection it no my heart one far warmer and welcoming than any other. There was no way of knowing if he felt it too but one thing for certain was that i was falling for him and i had no way of knowing if he would even thinking about catching me if i do.

"Alright Suga."

Suga slightly tugged his lips as those words left my mouth accepting his proposal. His hands reached my thigh gripping it slightly enjoying hearing me saying Suga and seeing me squirm at the contact. Suga slightly looked me in the eyes with a sort of look making me melt at the thoughts the were possible occurring in his mind. His face became only inches away from mine as i felt the fan of his breath mix with mine. Sure we were still on the subway but its not like this didn't happen on a daily with people. The subway was filled with overly touchy people. What room for one more.

"You know what else i like about you, Y/N?"

Suga looked at me eagerly in the eyes as he licked his lips enjoying seeing me breathless under his control. Obeying under his control. His Lips were now inches away from mine leaving little to the imagination.

"I like-"

His hands grew higher close enough to my women hood making me jolt as he sported a victorious looking smirk.

"I like, how easy to tease you are."

Suga quickly kissed my nose turning back to his previous position and pushing me away, leaving me bothered by his actions.

The possible worst part had been that his simple peck on my nose had sent me into over drive, leaving me a hormonal mess.

Well, chatting with other meta writers, a lot of us have asks about Cas and just generally seeing

EVERYWHERE.

Twitter, tumblr, everywhere…

Which is awesome, as a Cas girl I love seeing others flailing over him :)

I believe from speaking to others that there is generally a Misha panic this time of year so it seems to be a running theme that they set Cas up for pain around this time and it’s true that having killed him off in season 6/7 I can see why people would be worried. 

I’m not worried now because they had to bring back Misha, he’s a huge part of the show and the fandom, conventions etc and I dont believe he wants to move onto other projects before the show finishes (I may be totally wrong but I dont think so, especially as they’re heading towards the final run now so the end is in sight for them all I imagine, they’ve been talking a lot about episode 300 and season 14 as the potential end).

So I’m not worried for him overall, however for a more specific arc to this season, I think we need 12x19 before we can really judge…

For me this whole season has been a big Cas parallel, in a similar way to how season 11 doesn’t make sense without the Dean/Cas relationship (it supersedes Dean’s bond with Amara and thus leads to so much of the plot for the whole season, just saying). This season aside from clear episodes all about Cas we have seen a million Cas parallels aside from the obvious one in Mick as a dark mirror.

There’s a reason why there is such a huge focus on Cas finding his place and now feeling like he belongs with the Winchesters while Mary doesn’t. Theres a reason the whole season’s arc revolves around Angels again (and a storyline with Lucifer, a nephilim, morality that is easily relatable to Castiel ‘are you an Angel or a Human’ Winchester).

There’s a reason Angels have reared their heads and come offering an olive branch at this point in the season right after Cas tells the boys he loves them and that they are his family. There’s a reason Cas made a double clarification in his I love you’s (see this post for my own take on how clear it is what he meant) and has been kept away from Dean since 12x12, that Dean is in full worried!husband mode. There’s a reason Dean has been letting his facade down and being just done with lying and hopefully will be having an honest confrontation with Mary in 12x22. 

Personally I see Mary and Cas as hugely linked to each other in terms of mirrors and I’m excited to see where this goes towards the end of the season.

All in all I’m not at all worried that Cas will die permanently. Perhaps bad things may happen in 12x19? But it will be to lead to more interesting things happening later on…even if it is much much later on…

As I said in this post :

We as fans are missing Cas every episode since 12x12 (even 12x15 only had marginal Cas and no real Dean/Cas other than both times it was gloriously, clearly, romanticised). Imagine what this is doing to Dean.

Plus all the Saileen / Destiel parallels in 12x17 and just generally pure, good old Pining!Dean and Worried!Dean.

Because we are supposed to be worried, to be missing him because Dean is worried and missing him and off course this flows through to the show’s narrative and they’re making us feel this (and I’m sure Sam too of course but its not the same).

So it’s a normal reaction to be worried about potentially not seeing Cas in the filming etc for episodes after 12x19 but personally even if he isn’t in them for whatever reason I’m not worried. I’ve been personally speculating that he may be separated from them for a while end of this / next season anyway and now that this theory is around that he’s missing it kinda fits, but this is just my own personal speculation and not at all the consensus or based on anything that other’s don’t know and I have lots of different speculation theories, this is just one of them.

If he is missing then I still think it’ll be overall a good thing as it’ll lead to more Pining!Dean and Worried!Dean which is kind of my jam (I like anything that textually shows how much they care about each other) and also allows them to drag out their romantic story without having to put it on the back burner while they go around as usual which would be weird…. although I’ll be honest more glorious worrying for each other, bickering yet dropping everything to help and protect each other like 12x10 for a whole season wouldn’t go amiss.

If he isn’t missing and they just are messing with us hiding Misha or if my other favourite wild speculation, that Cas is human in a different outfit so they’re hiding him, this panic will be obsolete anyway :)

Either way - panic not until the bad thing happens, there’s enough bad things that do happen in SPN that I try not to worry about speculation that bad things might happen!

Hi, I've had insurance in CA for 2 years and moved to Oregon recently. I had my insurance tranferred with an useless Farmers Agent in OR. The thing is I already paid my 6 months premium in CA which is covered me until 06/2009. I paid nearly $450 for until 06/29. I've had quite a few discounts in CA but the jug-head agent in Oregon, not shifted any discounts to Oregon automatically.
