Oh man, im influenced by a bunch of art and comics but i couldnt pin down specific inspirations for those haha

as for the more broad sense, i also have a bunch of things! significantly, physics and space. it might not look like it but i think a lot about the logistics of things and whatever rules would exist in my universes etc. it does suck sometimes bc it prevents me from doing things just for the hell of it, but i love applying knowledge to things. and space has always been something really close to me, my dad’s an astrophysicist so ive been exposed to all sorts of cool knowledge about it since i was a wee bab 

i also really really love metaphors and symbolism, but rather than take inspiration from things i just use my own personal symbolism x) i put a lot of myself in what i do. which.. i guess could be said for many artists too so its not too special haha

and also as with many other artists, i AM fueled by spite significantly. specifically 1. for the people who once thought or who still think id never be good to do art, or that id never get better at what i do. 2. for people who draw wings wrong (especially professional people? what’s wrong with you. im begging you to look at a bird) 3. for people and companies that make terrible designs with terrible decisions (they fuel me to do better than them) 4. for people who believe that the only way to be good at art and design is to make overly complex and visually charged, detailed designs with many colors/hues (all my ocs are fairly simple and have the most limited colors kffhk) 

im sure there’s a lot more but ive spent a lot of time writing this out already and i cant really think of anything else so i hope this is a good enough answer!! 

god i do NOT have enough knowledge for this but what the fuck was up with the volturi lol. like fuckin, vampire goth club over there did nothing to change over hundreds of years, all of them still stuck in their medieval ways. i remember a plot point that was touched upon was that they had a specific person lure in a bunch of lost tourists through the sewer entrance so that the volturi could drink them and like ?? bro. how is this not investigated at any point, ever. like a shit ton of tourists just disappear ??? all the time?? and no one gives a fuck?? no investigation?? what do they do with the bodies?????

also, they were willing to blast the carlisle family into fucking orbit over Turning A Child (tm) into a vampire, but they had absolutely no qualms about vampire wars/soldiers where a lot of people were irresponsibly turned into neophytes for their strength (like jasper) or people who turned others just for the fuck of it or bc theyd have sickass powers (like benjamin. that was the sole reason for benjamin being turned. bc the dude could feel that benj would have cool powers and he absolutely did... he was a fucking avatar. controller of the elements. and he did absolutely jack shit in the books. im still so mad) 

but yeah anyway the volturi are big hypocrites. got nothing to say about their lifestyle and aesthetic tho bc italians just be like that

his horns and the spikes on his forearms and tail are rly solid and rly pointy so theyre about as dangerous as a solid, pointy big thing can be

the spikes on his neck and back are a lot softer though. theyre flat scales and are probably bendy, but still sturdy. they don’t have edges or anything so you wont be sliced up if you touch them but touching them is probably not too comfortable

alex would probably be a crocodile tbh! it’s one of the things i based his dragon form off of for the latest iteration, and i just think it fits him a lot (also its funny that crocodiles are water creatures but alex has a Big Dislike of water)

also i literally cannot see adri as anything other than a snake sklhfsdk. its what he is!! this is like asking someone’s favorite color but not letting them choose their actual favorite. do you want me to lie? do you want me to say something not true??

Honestly i always loved deer but refused to acknowledge it, especially to myself, and much less thought about having one as a sona bc “prey animals are lame” was rly prevalent in my circles for the longest time. everyone was a dragon or a wolf etc bc they wanted to be cool and so did i but i never vibed with it it took me a rly long time to just accept that i rly liked deer haha and i think what made me decide on it in the end was ‘well i can make a deer more monstery if i wanted to, i have that power’ and so i did  then later i tied the whole ‘wrong deer’ aesthetic to my own personal symbolism of always being picked on by many until i got sick of it and learned to stand up for myself. my sona is something that’s not for people to prey on anymore, and so am i c:

Okay guys...

Things have been getting really tough at home, and I just really need some help right now. I am not one to do commissions or anything but right now, i’m a bit in a pinch.

I’m a 21 year old college student and artist, struggling financially, and my mother, sister, and I really need some help right now, as my dad has put us into a ridiculous financial bind by his own selfish reasons, and we’re not gonna have ANY income really soon, and we are now in debt because of his decisions. He is a very toxic man (he is a strong supporter of trump, let that give you some insight on how he is as a person), and my mom stays because she has no money to leave, and religious obligation to stay. But I have decided to come out of my shy shell so I can finally do something about this.

I am opening art and fanfic commissions.

I tend to doodle on paper more often than digital, but I don’t often go full out on my pictures with coloring and such. Pricing is as follows:

Fanfictions

It has been a little while since i’ve done fanfics, but I know that there is always someone who wants to see a little more of the characters they love. You can read through some of my work here. So far the only fandom I had written for at the time was DRAMAtical Murder, mostly nsfw stuff, so take caution. I do have an Ao3, however I have uploaded only one of my works on there, “I Will Follow You Into The Dark” 

I am willing to write anything, with anyone, be it NSFW, or whatever. However, there is a limit as to what I can do, and if I feel uncomfortable with a topic, I will refuse, but that does not mean I won’t find a middle ground with you. Just ask me. 

All ships are welcome, it doesn’t even have to be shippy, it can be something goofy, or a crack fic, just shoot me an idea, and we can work something out. I am a part of a lot of different fandoms, but I don’t know them all, so i apologize if I am unfamiliar with the characters, I will not feel comfortable writing the story.

It’s simple.

1$ per 100 words. 

So, 5$ for 500 words, 15$ for 1.5k words, and so on.  

If you want your story to be completely exclusive, only to you, and not posted online, anywhere, that would be an extra 5$. A personalized, single copy of a fic that no one will read but you! hollow, my OT wants me to go into private hospital inpatient for PTSD. i've previously suffered psychiatric abuse in the public system and hospitals really scare me. i think i remember you go through private, so can you tell me any encouraging things about private hospital? or warnings i guess if there aren't encouraging things to say. can you take your phone with you and still have the internet? being isolated was terrible. sorry if this is an invasive question i'm just scared.

hey no, its fine psych hospital review website here if you wanted to check out patient feedback for where you’re looking to go. just keep in mind that it’s new so i dont think it has a very comprehensive list yet.

ive (thankfully) never been in a public mental health hospital but a lot of the ppl in my ward have been and from what they say there is an enormous difference between the two, at least in Australia.

it also makes a difference if you’re involuntary or not. if you go into a private hospital voluntarily, you’re not being kept there against ur will and you have access to a lot more freedoms like day leave. They have to put procedures in place to take those away and make you involuntary and thats in the event of a crisis. But if you’re a voluntary patient you can choose the duration of your stay (they will have reccomendations but thats different) and they cant keep you if you dont want to be there any more.

I can only tell you about my experiences with the hospital I go to, since im fortunate enough to not have to had moved around a lot. My psychiatrist at the time referred me to a really good one first off. 

Wifi depends on hospital to hospital. The first few times I was in there was no ward wifi, but they didn’t take your phone or your laptop or any internet dongle things you brought in. You could use data and the rooms had landline phones and you could make free local calls whenever you wanted. The hospital I am in has wifi now and I’ve noticed most of the private hospitals I’ve been to for surgery in the last two years now have patient wifi where they didn’t before.they may take your charging cables since they’re a hanging risk, (mine bases it on your case) but some places i’ve visited friends in also let you coil them up and zip tie them so they’re no longer a big string. 

Being isolated is going to be bad for your mental health so they tend to encourage visitors, day leave on the weekends and for you to interact with other patients, where I go there are art groups, music groups, gym, walking and some other stuff as well as the mental health workshops we do as part of group therapy.

As for advice, first i would reccomend trying to get a single room if you have PTSD. You don’t want to share with a stranger. Where I go they don’t make our ward share bc its a disaster, but they do have double rooms so i think its an option or was an option in the general wards.

Second would be bring everything and anything you think of as a comfort. soft things, pillows, plush toys, terrariums, fairy lights if you’re allowed cords or LED candles if u aren’t, colourful bedspreads, art supplies, books, a variety of nice soaps and body washes to make showering a bit more bearable.Call them up before u go with a list of things ur planning on bringing and ask if ur allowed, or get a visitor to drop things like plants and decorations off after u have arrived.It’s really distressing for me to return to my room after a heavy session with my psychiatrist and it doesn’t look like home. I can’t feel safe or wind down when its a stark white hospital room.  And i’ve found that decorating my space helps claim it as mine and kind of carve out a little area of calm when u might not have too much privacy. 

You might want to get noise cancelling headphones so u can sleep, or check out this white noise app because the nurses will have to check on you anywhere from every 15 mins to every 2 hours, and hearing them come in can stress a lot of people out even tho they try to be quiet in the night. 

the other thing i would do is bring a journal and record everything that happens. Most of my experiences have been good, but sometimes u get fuckery just like in every other place. I’m particularly succeptible to gaslighting, and my dissociation makes it hard to keep track of memories, so every time something goes wrong or I have an altercation with anyone I record it in case it turns into a pattern and I need my notes.

I also write daily diary entries because i’ve found i tend to forget what has happened in hospital when i’m out, and what happens from visit to visit, since we do a lot of trauma work and it freaks my brain out. It’s important to be able to remember what we have worked on and what revelations i’ve made and what advice i’ve been given so I write it all down in a book every time i go.
