I’m gonna be real with y’all, most of the time these days I don’t think Jikook are dating per se But they are… they are… they’re… what are they? What’s their problem? What’s their DEAL like one min you’re just cute bros and then I remember jungkook sucked on jimin’s EAR

Said a long time army-jkkr on Twitter. You may know her - Jennie, a lesbian in a long term relationship, who once was a hard-core jikooker. But for past two years, she thinks they are not dating but are two cute bros. There are only 1-2 incidents which make her rethink her 'Jikook are bros' final decision. Just like majority of jkkrs, it's either ear sucking or hickey, which one day if JK himself comes and say it didn't meant a shit or does same thing with someone else gets immediately debunked. But does 2 incidents matter when rest everything they does, if we look around us or even among bts are all common dynamics between two men who are super close ? If even long term Jikookers don't think they are dating then why would we have to believe they are a couple 🤔 Because majority here are super convinced they are a couple when in reality it's 90% chance that they are not.

I think this is the anon in my previous post who was frustrated i didn't answer their question. I am not exactly sure what the question is.

Anon, if you are asking if i think they're dating, i really can't comment on that.

Relationships come in many forms. As many as there are people on earth. What you call dating, i might call hooking up, or FWB, or partnered. They may have booty calls or they may be married. Or maybe they're poly and are dating several people. Or maybe they're asexual and they really adore each other and they don't have sex at all ever because they just don't.

We don't know how they define their relationship and its pointless to speculate.

It's also not important.

It's not important at all.

The term we use doesn't matter. What matters is what they are to each other.

I think they love each other.

I think they are or have been intimate partners (I lean towards are).

I think they are very invested in one another, and they support each other emotionally and physically and professionally.

If they call that dating, cool.

If they call it life partners, awesome.

If they call it BFF who regularly go to bed together, I'm happy if they're happy.

And just for the record, I watch their intractions and take my cue from them. I am not really influenced by the opinions of others. "The majority of jikookers think X" doesn't affect me. I see what I see. And what i see is deep love and attraction and mutual respect and healthy boundaries.

I dont know if they are or are not dating, but if you're looking for a guidebook on dating, you could do worse that watching these two

This year I decided to do something for my fellow Black Readers.

Venti is a favorite of mine and a comfort character. I hope you enjoy! (Number) - dont remember how many bard contests Venven won.

"If I could wish for one thing, I take the smile that you'd bring."

"Wherever you go in this world, I'll come along."

The teal-haired bard performed a new tune to the crowds in the streets. Children dance and sing off-key repeating his lyrics. His older audience was entranced by the tune. His sweet voice resonates on the breeze, enticing others to come watch.

"That will be all." You wave to the merchant as you walk through the streets. Mondstadt is a lovely nation. The scenery and some of the buildings mimic the old towns depicted in books. You open the book that the merchant sold you.

Mondstadt's Encyclopedia

People rush past you on their way to their destinations.With your nose in a book, you stroll blindly, focusing on it. You go from one level to the next, step by step.

"Is that a Traveler?" Someone mutters, assuming they're talking about you. A man yelled something about adventurers or something else that you couldn't pay attention to.

Stormterror's lair is in the older areas of Monstadt, where Monstadters used to live under Decabarian's severe authority.

The damaged pillars and wind barrier were captured in the photographs. The images of the Kamera make them appear nearly lost in time. You made a note in the book that you'll come back later.

You pull your curly hair behind your ears.

Music fills your ears as you take the next step up the stairs.

A bard is singing, but their voice sounds far away. The female(?)  singer's voice, which you imagined must have been screaming their song, could be heard all the way down the staircase.

Grimacing, you pocket the book and proceed to see who the singer is.

She probably hasn't taken any lessons.

When you reach the top, you will notice a crowd gather around the girl. Her voice softens as you approach her (?).

The song she performs got considerably clearer. Her voice quietly sings to the company that is gathered around. You let out a tiny sigh as you approach to listen.

Her gaze flickers up to you. Teal, almost glowing eyes gaze over your figure. You feel a sense of comfort almost immediately. As she finishes her song, her(?) eyes move to another individual in the crowd.

The others around you clap, and you do too. She bows and walks towards you.

You swallow freezing up, as she(?) gets closer.Her pigtails flow smoothly as she steps forward.

She looks in your direction before passing you to proceed down the stairs.

You lightly hit yourself on the head; she  just wrapped up her show, of couse she would not want to  speak.

The time rapidly shifts towards the evening. As the sky darkens, everyone closed their stores for the night, except you, who went to visit Starsnatch cliff.

You leave the city to make your way there. Hilichurrl camps make camp for the night as they sleep, allowing you to pass freely.

"It should be easy to pass through." Fortunately, you were able to go cautiously without encountering a treasure hunter or monster. As you climbed the cliff drop to Starsnatch Cliff, white flowers appeared.

"This is beautiful."

"I agree." A familiar voice speaks to your right. You grab your knife, which is easily blown out of your hands.

"Oh, you're the one from earlier." The teal-haired girl pauses in front of you.

"You're the girl who was singing!" He stares at you, surprised, before breaking into laughter.

"That's won't be first that people thought of me like that." You roll your eyes, regretting it, as a long hair pokes you in the eye, making the bard laugh the harder.

"Who are you?" The bard makes a slight bow.

"I am Venti, a bard. (Number) time winner of Mondstadt's bard winning contest." You laugh and bow briefly.

"Name." He nods in greeting.

"So what are you doing up here." The bard hums before taking a seat by a cluster of white flowers on the ground.

"It helps me think." He displays the papers that he has on hand. A tune, maybe?

"It's a poem." He corrects you. He hums while penning another stanza.

"What do you usually write about?" He hums before confronting you.

"Fables, history, travelers." He emphasizes the last point while staring at you. You take a seat next to him, trying not to trample the flowers.

Your curly hair blew somewhat, but thankfully not into your eye. The moonlight and soft wind shine on Venti. A little halo of light surrounds him, making his turquoise hair and clothes shine. His eyes move as he continues writing on the paper, unconcerned by your stare. His colored hair briefly lightened up before disappearing.

"What's wrong?" You jump as his eyes lock on your e/c ones. Embrassment crept up on you as you looked away from him.

"It's nothing." He lays his pen down on the paper. A green light appeared in his palms, revealing a wooden lyre.

"Any requests?" He smiles at you as he gently taps the instrument.

"None that I can think of." He nods while strumming the lyre. The introduction begins slowly and then increases in volume. You hum along to a tune you don't know the name of. Venti hums as you both harmonize.

1. Three Ships

Ooof, I got so many, I'm gonna put the three I'm currently obsessed with (bc I'm not sure I could choose just three as favorite)

Vegebul, my beloved, my OTP, the light in my life, the best anime couple imo

Trumai (yes, both versions), the successor of Vegebul, they have me in a hold just as strong as them, it's such a weird but fun pairing, I adore them

Hurrem x Suleiman (look at themmmmm) everytime suleyman spoke his poems to hurrem I melted, no ship has ever have such romantic quotes. Plus, i use a lot of their scenes for royal aus, it's just gold

I know you said three but I gotta give an honorable mention to Lawmane, who's ever present in my mind, even if I dont post about them as often as before. They would've been THE couple if only Misa hadnt fallen for that gay republican

2. First Ever Ship

I think it was either Sparrabeth or Quogan, I'm not too sure (Quogan was the first ship I've read a fanfic of tho). I'm still obsessed with both, maybe more than when I was younger. I remember wanting Spareabeth to be endgame and to know more of Quogan's life after the show's end, but now it's a NEED

3. Last Song

Funeral by Mon Laferte. It's an amazing song, it speaks of being in a loveless/passionless relationship and wondering how it got that way and wanting nothing more than for it to finally reach its end. My favorite part goes something like this: "While I prepare breakfast I feel so terribly alone, suddenly I want to die, I want to run away from you. I wish I was on the ocean, letting the waves carry me away, I want to stop breathing; dont wake me up, I want to keep dreaming about our funeral" not a perfect translation, but you get the point. The narrator feels so helpless and is so desperate to find a way put an end to that relationship, other part of the song reflects her regret on how they both let the relationship die and wishes she could go back in time and prevent it, but nonetheless their love has died and they're both wasting their time by still being together.

I listen to it a lot when I need to think an angst AU or something lol. But the singer is so good and shows such emotions through her voice, it makes me relate, even tho I've never been on that situation (thankfully)

If you want to get into Hispanic music, I definitely recommend Mon Laferte, she's one of my favorite artist, "Se me va a quemar el corazón" is another amazing song of hers that I recommend.

5. Currently Reading

Nothing new, I've re read my favorite books, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Chronicle of a Death Foretold by GGM. The little prince was the first book ive ever read, I always heard it's a book you should read as a kid and then later as an adult, and my God, it's true, it's a completely different experience. 6 yo me thought it was a fun book about a man hallucinating in the desert, 24 yo me cred like a baby full of longing for a childhood I didn't appreciate and grief of the kid in me that inevitably died as I grew up and became an adult.

I never tire of reading CoaDF, everytime I expect the end to be different even tho the very beginning tells you what's gonna happen.

I dont have much time, so I choose those too bc they're a short read. However, I'm gonna start to reread asoiaf books too, bc I can never get enough of them

6. Currently Watching

Like I said, I have no time, so I stick to Sitcoms I can put on the bg while I work. I'm currently rewatching The Nanny, I forgot how much I loved it. And I swear, I'll start dressing as Fran as soon as I have time to buy new clothes, her style is just, mwah chef's kiss, obsessed.

And omg, I forgot how slow the burn in this show was, its Season 5 and they're still not dating!!!! Immabout to throw gasoline at them!!!!!
