Oops chagrined is not the word I meant to use for the maid. I guess the right term would be... exasperated? The clothing is among the prince’s laundry meaning he wants it to be treated as his own, but the quality of the fabric is noticeably lesser so really he’s just making more work for her by having her wash someone else’s clothing. It’s not until it happens several more times that she clocks in exactly the owner of said less expensive more hardy durable clothes and starts separating Ace’s clean laundry from the prince’s when she finally returns them. (Really it’s just practice for when they’re the king and crown prince and have one room and share everything between them. But it is annoying for now strictly because the disinfectant process differs for the attire of knights, strong enough to easily wash away blood and caked-on grime and would ruin Sabo’s delicate fashion tastes and strip the vivid dyes he so often adorns. Twice the load and twice the work unfortunately but that’s just another great example of Sabo’s selfishness winning out when he demands what can’t possibly be refuted by someone of lower status than he.)

You mentioned wedlock which is funny so now I’m curious if you had any other thoughts on marriage? I guess I’ve always associated marriage with religion and didn’t want to think about god/s for this AU so I disregarded it as something unimportant to the kingdom/culture. If two people are living together then they’re romantically involved and all that shiz yeah? No deep thoughts my head is a vacuum ready to be filled.

I was jesting about chagrined maids but you came back with such a thoughtful follow up about different fabrics and linens that it was such a delightful addition to the initial concept, i love how detailed you are, thinking about the soaps and difference jn treatment that both Ace and Sabos clothes would require, and having to sort those and the effort someone of the servitude status would have to undergo

About marriage: GOOD QUESTION!!! i dont personally tie marriage with religion i see it as a title that officiates two or more persons love for one another?? Really basic view tbh , when logically now that youve brought it to my attention it really is a religious based ceremony huh

I get you, i didnt really think much about god/s for this au either, when people can cast world shattering magic n all theyre basically “divine” in that aspect already haha

Amount: Three, the main pair, and one on the forehead. Skin/fur/etc colour:  A pretty pale color, mostly because she doesn’t get much sun ( she should, that gets you sick. trust me, i know) and because she is irish, and they tend to have paler skin tones.,

Birthmarks: on the back of her neck, a long dark mark,  that looks like a raindrop. Tattoos:  Sigils, small ones down her arms. A snake tattoo on her back. Piercings:  earrings.  gold, black and silver with a blue stone.  in the center.

Normal Outfit - A black longsleeved shirt with eyes on the sleeves, a crescent moon in silver on the back, glittery. grey pants, black shoes. maybe boots. oh, and black gloves with the hem of them being lacey. She wears it on her right hand, due to the fading burns. Maybe a hat, if she doesn’t have a ponytail. Maybe also a bag, probably in black and gold. maybe a satchel bag of sorts in black with gold designs on it.  Probably has her witchy stuff in it. She doesn’t go places without them.  

Formal Outfit - A black dress past the waist a little bit, the sleeves are black lace, with flower designs on them. flowers painted on the skirt part of the dress, and the hem is gold, and glittery.  black knee high socks because full leggings are uncomfy,   black and gold shoes.  A necklace with a human skull charm on it, along with a gold pentagram. Underneath, a long, beautiful silver key held by a leather cord.  hidden by clothes usually. “

Another outfit she wears a Lot is the one in the picture. I don’t wanna go through describing it when its right there at the top. She’s got a witchy, elegant and gothic type of style.

Frequently worn jewelry/accessories: A necklace with some charms on it, the main one being that of a mini human skull, a pentagram, and a snake.  A leather cord, long, which holds a beautiful silver key. hidden by clothes

She’s also got a little wand,  tipped in a clear crystal quartz point. halfway wrapped around it is a gold wire.  beneath the crystal, the wand itself is black,  with gold wiring wrapped around it, until right before the crystal, golden wing decorations, around another blue crystal in between them, and from there the wiring crawls down to the end of the wand, where another clear quartz is, in a orb shape.

Weaponry -  Daggers, small knives to throw. Bow and arrow, maybe. She has a gun, too. But she doesn’t like to use it.  She keeps the dagger in  the bag she carries around. probably swords too.  who fucking knows.

Pet / Spirit animal / Familiar:  More of a familiar, than a pet.   A very large, and long white snake, with a black marking upon its head that looks like a half - moon.  It has grown up with her, and isn’t a typical snake. Its much bigger,  and longer than a normal one can be. It has certain abilities as well. Depending on its energy levels, it can become invisible, or change its size.  It is very calculating, and analytic. Suspicious of new people, very defensive,  but calm and laid back.

Personality

Emily is rather reserved, and quiet. Especially around new people.  But, she is a very kind and sweet girl. Loving, but she is not very trusting. She is rather anxious, but usually, she is a bright and happy girl.  She likes dark things but she sure isn’t dark. Not at all. Well, in that sense at least, lmao. She has a morbid sense of humor,  and is attracted to death related witchcraft.   She likes shiny things, and collects them. Because why not?????  Crystals, jewelry…All that. Especially crystals!  I’ve repeated that a lot here but its for the emphasis. She also likes to MAKE jewelry too!
