#seriously how are there soooo many 'sapphic' relationships in fantasy books coming out rn and yet none of them are good#i dont ask for much. i just want a literary non-epic fantasy with dragons and no action scenes and non-tolkienesque worldbuilding#and a slow butchfemme romance and a plot on a small scale that doesnt include like armies and huge countries and weird racial implications#and interesting religious symbolism and themes and motifs and narratives and cool soft magic systems
