Need more fics where Lucifer is a straight up asshole. No one does his assholery justice. Like, he calls Charlie's friends "a bunch of losers." Basically goes on a taunting "I'm right you're wrong" rant on Charlie while her hotel is LITERALLY crumbling around her. When he first shows up, he COMPLETELY ignores the rest of the hotel greeting him and just walks by them to look around and give everything extremely judging looks. He treats them like they're not even there, until Alastor forces him to shift his attention towards him.
There is not a single doubt in my mind that this man is a privileged asshole. He's not the kind of guy who's nice or understanding towards a waiter who's struggling. He's definitely not the kind of person who says "thank you" often.
I think the only people who ever write Lucifer as a dick are people who genuinely HATE Lucifer, and I don't read their fics either because they always go too far with it and depict him as an actual monster, which is... not what I want either.
I just really want a fic where Lucifer actually starts off acting like the dick he is in canon, and then slowly starts to realize how much of a jerk he is as he gets to know the rest of the hotel. Like, him coming to understand that these people have layers to them, and don't really fit into this mold of what he believes sinners to all be like. They're multi-faceted individuals who are capable of and willing to show genuine care and kindness to one another.
Added to this, I really want a fic where like. The rest of the hotel actually outright don't like Lucifer BECAUSE of his entitled attitude. And Lucifer has to get hit in the face with the fact that he's the one at fault here for the way they act towards him. For example; No, Husk is not going to have friendly small talk with you, Lucifer, you literally only ever call him "bartender" and can't be bothered to learn his name.

If a strategist from Glitch were to try and go about killing a god (maybe they’ve backslided, maybe the god is just really annoying or trying to kill their friends), how would they go about doing it. What would be the best way to use Eide, Flore, Lore, or Wyrd?
-
Jenna, my readers are always asking me, how do you kill a god? But there is no one size fits all answer to killing gods.
You have to look within yourself.
You have to find the unique way of killing gods that expresses you.
-
Glitch is a game where you tell stories, and an important feature of stories about killing gods is that they are not all the same.
Some are long. Some short.
Some put their protagonists through heck. Some let them just glide through.
Stories can have very different ideas about what it takes, and what it means, to kill a god.
Gods, too, can differ.
-
If you're frustrated, looking at Glitch, trying to find the thing you're supposed to do to accomplish task X, you're misunderstanding the intended flow of play:
To kill a god, decide how you want to kill a god.
Then, express it in the form of actions.
Optionally, discover that you're misaligned with the group zeitgeist on how god-killing stories work, and adjust.
Then, the god dies, or doesn't.
If you're having trouble figuring out how you want to kill a god, then you might need to stick it on a back burner. Over time, you'll have a better understanding not just of the game options the traits provide but of how your character uses them, and some things your character might want to try will gain more dramatic weight in the group zeitgeist.
-
Decide you want to kill a god by shoving it out of your way into the street. Declare that as an everyday Ability action.
Decide you want to kill a god in a complicated flower rite. Declare that as a quest or planning miracle.
Chain it down in a place of sorrow with a Greater Invocation. Erase it with a handwave and your Wyrd. Give in to the wicked voice of your god-killing knife, that whispers to you always, and draw the curtain on the scene, and expect that when the next scene starts it will be dead.
Declare that gods aren't real, and let it poof away.
In every last case, perhaps the group goes, "Yeah, that's a satisfying answer!" Perhaps they don't. If they don't, then your action still "works," in that it happens unless in direct conflict with a stronger action, but it likely doesn't kill the god.
-
A secret is that this is not just how Glitch works.
In almost every RPG, the way you make something happen is get the group on board with that thing happening. All rules can do is help that happen.
If the rules of Glitch could make that happen then you wouldn't even have to read them, you wouldn't even have to know you were playing Glitch, you could think you were playing D&D and accidentally play Glitch instead and the rules would sort that out for you.
They can't.
-
When it comes to killing gods, the game of Glitch bestows a certain implicit authority on higher-level miracles, particularly epic miracles; miracles that take time to play out; miracles that imply in their description that they're on the right power level for killing gods.
Strategy and Greater Strategy are good ones when they apply, because you can get the players on board during the planning process, spend a while playing it out gathering narrative momentum, and then have it feel well-grounded when it works.
If you have a Talent for killing gods, then that probably works well, but also tends to reframe the game as one where you're killing a bunch of gods and more story time gets spent on the ones where there's a twist that makes it difficult. Think of the Traveller in Black; as competent as the traveller is, they still spend most of their time "in play" dealing with entities that are difficult even for them.
Greater Invocation is well-built for attacking gods.
Destruction and Greater Destruction can be good, though honestly they kind of push the GM to make a complex conflict out of it, which in turn means it's actually the Wailing Rite that would serve you best.
Flore is all kind of of one piece, but you'd definitely want to start with a Greater Glorification on a god-killing weapon.
-
If you decide in play to do something that the GM and group think you can probably do, but which they also think should feel difficult and earned, then you probably have to spend some time on either a quest or a spotlight-driven exploration of what's going on with that thing before coming up with a plan people think is cool, executing the plan, and then having the plan mostly work but devolve into some kind of chaotic complex conflict at the end to finish up the final details.
If you decide in play to kill a god ... well, probably the GM and group will believe you can, but also think it should feel difficult and earned. That's kind of what the book implies, at least.
-
In the old days---I once wrote this.
In the old days, they didn't know very much about the world. But they made maps anyway. If they had to map something they couldn't, they just drew whatever they felt like and wrote, "Here there be dragons."
We still don't know very much about the world; and there are things to map of it besides its surface.
How do you write a book?
How do you kill a god?
Can broken things be remade? Can destinies change? Is it worth the risk of hope?
Important questions, but one can only shrug, you see:
Here, there be dragons.
-
As for Glitch, I mean, like ... the game only has two rules, and they're not even a dozen words between them; some things had to be left as exercises for the reader, and the dreamer, and their group.

The darkness is asphyxiating, no light makes it to your eyes, no air reaches your lungs as they burn, yet you sense him through it all; standing just out of reach, watching you with soulless eyes and that damned sharp grin, expectantly waiting for the groveling. His magic was always too strong, no one could stand up to him, that's why you came, you have no intent to win, even if you'd lied to yourself about it before now. "If you don't submit soon you'll die, There's no shame in being outmatched, just give up and I may let you live!" He sounds sickeningly arrogant, so sure of himself and his righteousness. "Everyone else who came died, you knew they were stronger than you are, you knew and you still came here to face me. Why?" Your throat burns, yet your mind wanders despite the sensation, as though trying to find the panic that you should be feeling, any sense of self preservation, any emotion at all really. "Why are you stalling?" The words fall from your mouth before you can think, in a blinding flash you're knocked to your back. A slight wheeze escapes as you slam into the floor; your eyes adjusting to the light, you see him above you, his sneering veneer overtaken by poorly veiled confusion— and maybe something a bit more human? "You're certainly an odd one, most don't have the courage to look me in the eyes anymore" Displeasure tainting his voice, his haughty attitude abandoned as his eyes shift slightly, voids of magic peering into yours as if searching your soul, maybe he is. "No, this isn't courage at all, I see no fire in your eyes, no desire to strike me down, no fear at all." A humourless laugh echoes through his chambers, arms crossing over his chest as he shifts his weight to one side. "I suppose there's only one thing to do" his voice lower, less assertive than before and uncomfortably familiar. You meet his eyes, pools of pure magic stare back, but where once they were dark, now they glow orange, blue, all the colours you'd known and many you couldn't have imagined all flash through his eyes, you see the world in his eyes and for a moment you think that perhaps giving up isn't the best idea after all, if beauty can be found in a being so devoid of ... what exactly? What was this man missing? Everyone he'd killed had hunted him, hadn't they? The thought stops you for a moment, why was this man a monster? You barely notice as he raises his hand, channelling his power; you close your eyes and wait to be reunited with your friends and family, a moment passes and the burning stops, then the pain that you'd known for decades ebbs away and soon after your body feels at peace, perhaps wherever you are now, you can heal. "So-" You're ripped from your thoughts suddenly as your murderer looks down at you, on hand on the back of his neck awkwardly. "I know we just met, but if you'd like I could set you up a meeting with my therapist? They're the best, you control the pace." His voice sounds soft, compassionate and in an embarrassingly long moment, you realize you clearly aren't dead. So what happened to the pain? ... "There's a spare bedroom, you'll probably want to rest. I messed you up pretty bad there." His eyes avoiding yours, a kaleidoscope of magical energies visible in their depths. "Sorry about that by the way." His shrug looks forced and you feel the regret rolling off him in waves. "Why?" Your voice carefully measured, staring him down as you demand answers. "Why not finish me off?" your voice lowers, almost melancholic as you sigh, not even the most powerful mage would give you rest. Or perhaps he simply offered a different form of it, the aura he exudes leaving you with some level of energy, almost enough to feel again, more importantly the things you saw in his magic made you want to and so before he can answer your questions you ask one more "When can I meet them? Your therapist, that is." His smile was the brightest thing in the room.
When the villain demanded that you submit or be destroyed you just apathetically shrugged and braced yourself for death. You were surprised when the villain did not kill you and instead offered you a nice, comfortable room and an appointment with their personal therapist.

Beast Corruption Order Theory
OKAY OKAY i needa post something not beast cookies related for once but they're just so fun to talk about.. that's not today though before it's potentially debunked in the upcoming update i wanna throw out my theory i've had for the order in which the beasts corrupted
So, we know that one by one, each of them turned to villainy, but in what order did the five of them go down that path? My theory is that it happened in the same order they were showcased in the "An Ancient Force Awakens!" trailer. My main reasons to believe this is that the order feels too random for what it is, it wasn't the order they're releasing, it wasn't the order they were named by Elder Faerie in the Silver Kingdom story, and it wasn't the order their counterparts were introduced, either. Sure, they could've just put them in whatever order looked the coolest, but it's more fun to ponder. Additionally, all these visuals specifically happen while Elder Faerie is narrating how they each fell under the weight of their own power, so it would be appropriate to show them in the order that happened while it was being spoken about.
This would mean the corruption order is Burning Spice, Silent Salt, Mystic Flour, Eternal Sugar, and finally, Shadow Milk.
Do I have any actual in-game evidence to back this up? Well, sort of, actually. Let me start with the stronger piece of evidence: Mystic Flour's in-game description. What about this backs up my theory? One particular sentence: "Her once radiant light tarnished, leading her to join forces with the fallen Beast Cookies."
This outright confirms two things.
Mystic Flour Cookie was not the first Beast Cookie to fall.
It says Beast Cookies, plural, so at least two of the others had to have corrupted before she did.
This means she had to have either been third, fourth, or fifth. My theory places her as the third Beast to corrupt, so this lines up.
My second, less strong but still notable piece of evidence lies in the backstory of the Beast who could've been the very first to crumble under the weight of their power, the backstory of Burning Spice Cookie. (Which btw, hot take but his backstory isn't bad it's just presented badly there's a lot more to it if you read between the lines but that's not important right now)
How it supports my theory is simple. Would Burning Spice have finally snapped from the cyclical nature of the Tides of Change if his friends were out there going mad and sowing havoc? I don't think that'd make sense unless he had somehow not heard that was happening, this would have definitely given him other things to focus on for that moment of time, for better or for worse. Also, nowhere in his in-game story or any content about his backstory are any other Beast Cookies mentioned, so there isn't anything implying he WASN'T the first, so that's something.
And that's basically it, this is my theory on the order of which the Beasts corrupted and why I believe in it. We might find out if this is correct or not as soon as the upcoming Shadow Milk update, we'll see.
also I just think it'd be cool if Shadow Milk was the last one to fall

I think my ideal Steph, Cass, and Tim dynamic would be that they're all best friends, but they can not all hang out together. Like, if you ask any one of them who their best friend is they genuinely will not be able to pick between the other two, but all three of them together triggers each of their insecurities in the worst way and always leads to a fight.
Like, Steph and Cass are so affectionate with each other, and constantly flirting and Tim assumes their teasing, but what if they're not, and oh god is he third wheeling on a date between his ex-girlfriend and his sister? They don't actually want him here, they invited him to be nice and he was to oblivious to realize it wasn't genuine. He should leave. But before he can come up with a believable excuse they've changed topics and... hang on, did Steph just say her dad threw a book at her once? Because so much of Steph and Cass's relationship is built on an understanding that they won't make a big deal when they mention something messed up about their past that they just say stuff like that, but Tim does not have that same understanding. So Tim hears that and instead of rolling with it, it's "Steph you can't just say that like it's not a big deal... why is Cass laughing? You can't laugh at that it's fucked up! I don't care that it was a long time ago!" And now Cass is confused and Steph is angry and Tim feels like shit for probably ruining what they wanted to be a date and frustrated that he's being treated like he's overreacting despite being the only one with a normal reaction to child abuse. Mostly he's terrified that he screwed this whole thing up somehow and neither of them is going to want to hang out with him again.
Meanwhile Steph and Tim are so intrinsically linked to each other. They've shared things they will never share with anyone else, they were each others first love. And Cass understands that, she does, but it's hard sometimes seeing how easy they are with each other. The way Steph knows Tim's upset without having to read his body langue the way Cass does or Tim can predict exactly how late Steph will be to any given situation. More than that though, what truly makes her want to hide away from them, is the history they both had but didn't share. The sly comments about Tim looking like a character Cass has never heard of or jokes that make no sense but send Steph into laughing fits. The kind that when she asks are brushed off with "it was an old meme" or "just a show from when we were kids". The reminders that she isn't normal, she can never really be like them. If she doesn't ask most of the time it doesn't occur to them to explain, it seems so obvious to them. They start doing a synchronized dance from some movie that came out when they were in middle school and Cass slips away into the shadows. Later she gets a string of concerned text that slowly turn angry when she doesn't answer. Cass never tells them what was wrong.
And it's hard for Steph to look at Cass and Tim and not feel jealous, because more than just being friends, they're siblings. They are full members of the club, Bruce's children, let into the fold in a way she never can be. She doesn't even want to be anymore if she's being honest, but it still stings. They'll casually mention family dinner or reference inside jokes from the last Wayne charity whatever and Steph will feel the growing desire in her chest that she can not, under any circumstances, let anyone see. The desire that has caused her so much pain, she will not give it control over her again. And Cass calls Tim Robin sometimes, and he calls Cass Batgirl in return, and Steph has to bite back the urge to scream at them that she was Robin too! She is also a Batgirl! But it doesn't matter because she wasn't Cass's Robin or Tim's Batgirl, and it drives her insane that they're romanticizing that time, because don't they remember how much of an asshole Bruce was back then? And now Tim is mad at her for bring up the past as if they're not the ones who started it, and Cass is assuring her that Bruce has changed, and maybe he has, but it's to fucking late! He already ruined any chance of Steph every feeling fully comfortable with her place in their lives. So she storms off, fuming, leaving a baffled Tim and Cass to go enjoy their stupid family dinner.
So yeah, they are best friends. They all love each other more than they know how to say, and trust each other more than anyone else in the world. But they can never all hang out together. That only ever ends in disaster.

how do you feel about yu’s parents?? What do you think they’re like?
I think they're really interesting to explore- believe it or not. I've seen a lot of different interpretations of his parents, ranging from straight up negligent, to being abusive-- or just simply too busy. I've even seen interpretations where they're perfectly fine parents, and that the year abroad is an unusual circumstance.
The game itself, which is what I would consider primary canon (sequels being secondary and manga and anime being tertiary) never touches on it more than it needs to to justify Yu's presence in Inaba/being new. I think Yu's mother is briefly mentioned once or twice and they are said to have called Dojima once.
I made the observation (previously when theorizing about Ren's parents) that it's completely possible that during the downtime that you don't get to see between transition stages (where, theoretically, the main protagonists would do homework or take a shower or tend to other daily needs) it's totally possible that they call or interact with their parents.
All interpretations are possible, but I know Souji Seta's (the protagonist from the Manga) parents are always moving around- and lot of folks have taken this to heart- and yeah, I can see it and I too like this idea- even though it's worth considering the fact that the manga is mostly secondary to the games (and even the anime!) and it's not definite canon.
That being said, I definitely like the idea that they are a sort of echo of the conflict between Nanako and Dojima. Both suggest career oriented people that probably shouldn't have had a kid in the first place who prioritize their work over their family.. and that, in turn, leading to neglect- with Yu and Nanako both being self sufficient. mature for their ages, and complacent.
Behaviors Yu exhibits- like his ability to cook meals beyond what is expected of a teenage boy, becoming incredibly attached to Nanako (he is one wrong dialog choice away from killing someone over her!) and Inaba, the insatiable need to people please, his initial desire to push people away or ignore others, and his otherworldly emotional control and ability to not express himself.. -is stuff like that echos of a kid who's had to grow up way too fast and not cause any trouble and keep to himself.
So personally, I subscribe to that concept: Yu's a kid who's been raised to be seen, not heard- developing complexes and anxieties over being praised for being responsible and mature even though he's only barely meeting that expectation by the skin of his teeth. Nothing less that being perfect for the Narukamis, after all- there's no time to make friends or have many interests when time is better spent on studying.
So... the Narukamis are parents who fufill those concepts. Parents who withhold attention and praise because those are things reserved for truly impressive successes.. and when exemplary is the expected baseline, such rewards are never actually acted upon.
Yu does have a taste in cooking, though- and a selection of music he likes. He doodles in his notes and reads magazines- I feel it expresses that while his parents don't police his interests, it also means that they really care much about their son's interests... as long as they don't interfere with work (and, by extension- Yu's grades or behavior, as he can be considered an asset in said jobs)
Jobs that leave them busy more often than not, leaving Yu alone.. but he's mature for his age, so it's okay. He prolly does a fried egg and toast and then goes and sits in front of the TV to do his homework. Yu seeing this in Nanako... is a lot, and makes their relationship that much more sweet and aajhksdkjasf
His parent's cruelty is best decided on a story by story basis. The level of willfulness in their work (genuinely needed often vs choosing work over family for example) or the level of regret they express upon leaving-- informing many interesting stories.
so yeah thats my thoughts on that.
Tumblr media
side tangent, thats why souyo's so nice tbh. Yu always has to be the inconquerable senpai, the perfect big brother, noble leader, and everyone's rock- only to have Yosuke waltz up , hang off of him like a drunk girlfriend, and go "yeah he's amazing, but he's also the world's weirdest man and he's my best friend about it."

ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 loser!matt and fuckgirl!reader meet
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the music pulses through the house, a bass-heavy rhythm that you can feel vibrating in your chest. laughter and voices mix with the beat, a chaotic symphony of a saturday night party. the air is thick with the scent of perfume, spilled drinks, and the faintest hint of weed.
you’re at the center of it all, like always. your friends hang on your every word, their giggles rising like bubbles in a soda as you recount some outrageous story that’s half true and half too good to believe.
you take a sip of your drink—something sweet and strong—and let your gaze wander lazily over the crowd. you know almost everyone here, and they all know you. the thrill of attention is comforting, warm and familiar, and it boosts your ego. but then, your eyes catch on someone unfamiliar.
he’s leaning against the wall, partially hidden in the shadow of a flickering neon sign. a plaid shirt, worn jeans, and a beer bottle held loosely in one hand.
he’s quiet, his eyes scanning the room with a mix of caution and curiosity. his lips curl into a faint, almost invisible smile when he watches someone stumble over a poorly executed dance move. he’s not part of the chaos, not like you are. he’s observing, separate and untouchable.
very intriguing.
you tilt your head and narrow your eyes, studying him for a moment longer. he doesn’t fit here—not with the sweaty, writhing crowd or the boisterous laughter spilling over from a nearby beer pong table. it's enough to make you curious.
without thinking twice, you excuse yourself from your friends with a playful wave and weave through the crowd, your hips swaying just enough to part the sea of drunken bodies. the floor sticks faintly under your heels as you approach him, and you feel his eyes flicker to you before quickly darting back to his beer.
"hey," you smirk, letting the word slide out like it’s dipped in honey. you lean casually against the wall next to him, your shoulder almost brushing his but not quite. "never seen you before," you snicker, sipping your drink.
his lips quirk up slightly, but he doesn’t look at you. not directly. "'cause i don't go out," he shrugs.
"yeah, clearly," you laugh, loud enough to drown out the rest of the room. "you don't seem to fit in, no offense at all by the way."
"you're right," he mumbles, looking toward the group of people dancing like idiots and shakes his head.
you raise an eyebrow, amused. "so why are you here then?"
the boy shrugs, taking a sip of his beer, "came with my brothers."
you smirk curiously, leaning a bit closer to him against the wall as you speak with a hint of seductiveness, "yeah? who's your brothers?"
he notices your closeness, snickering a bit under his breath responding nonchalantly, "chris and nick."
you tilt your head to the side, your lips parting as the image of nick and chris pop into your head. you know of them, knowing that they're triplets, but you had never seen the third one around before. "so you're the third triplet?"
the boy nods, but it’s not with any pride or enthusiasm. it’s more like he’s trying to explain away his awkwardness, or maybe even justify why you've never seen him before. '"yeah," he mutters, taking another sip of his beer like it’ll help him escape the conversation.
"i see," you say with a smirk, drawing the words out slow. "so you’re just the quiet one?"
he looks at you for the first time in the conversation, the corner of his mouth twitching like he might smile, but he doesn’t. instead, he shrugs. "something like that. they’re more the… social type. m'not really big on crowds."
"what's your name baby?" you quip flirtatiously, keeping the charming smirk on your face.
he doesn't seem amused by the pet name, almost like he expected you to say something like that. "matt," he mutters, taking another sip of his beer.
there's a small, nagging frustration creeping in—something you’re not used to feeling. normally, guys are falling over themselves just to talk to you, to get a little attention. but matt? he’s too cool, too calm, almost like you’re just another part of the background noise to him.
but then there’s that flicker in his eyes—just enough to make your heart race. he’s not falling for your usual moves, but you can see it now: there’s something more beneath that nonchalant, cool exterior. a curiosity, maybe even a hint of interest. it’s not the usual eager gaze you’re used to, but there's something almost…enticing about the way he’s not giving it to you.
it sparks something else inside you. something deeper. maybe it's the challenge. maybe it’s the way he doesn’t need you to flatter his ego to get your attention. whatever it is, it’s stirring something inside you, something that makes you want him even more.
when you tell matt your name, keeping up your suggestive tone, he scoffs, shaking his head with a smirk as his eyes flit from the crowd to your face, "i know."

The last dance
Tumblr media
Pairing: Katarina x F!reader
Synopsis: You are one of the guests at the Black Rose Ball, and your dance partner catches your eye.
Word count: 823
Warnings: Mentions of war and death, mentions of relationship breakups.
An: I know it's just a cinematic, but my heart can't stand seeing beautiful women in fiction and not writing about them 😭 I tried to make it longer but my creative block isn't helping. (In case you're confused and only know Arcane, Garen is her romantic interest in the lore of League of Legends and Jericho Swain is the one who rules Noxus, Demacia and Ionia are regions that are at war with Noxus.)
What happened in Piltover was surprising for all of Runeterra. A simple inventor becoming a kind of God? Even more so in the city of progress? Simply surprising.
Your parents were longtime members of the Black Rose, and with Mel Medarda's return, the organization needed a distraction. And just like in the times when Noxus was a monarchy ruled by an emperor, why not have a ball?
"You look beautiful.” Your mother said to you. “Do we really have to go to this ball? Are we really going to pretend that Ambessa's daughter isn't coming back to finish us all off?" Your mother looked surprised. "You better not say things like that at the ball.” Your father enters the room. "We're going to be late like this, ladies."
It was a masquerade ball, as the Black Rose always liked anonymity, but you didn't care, you wouldn't be wearing a mask that night, you thought the masks were too ugly to wear.
“Honey, do you mind if me and your father go say hi to some friends?" Your mother asked. "No, I think I'll just dance a little." You walk out onto the dance floor, and dance with the first person you see, not caring who it is under that mask. “You dance very well," said the masked person, it was a female voice. "Thank you... Are you part of the Black Rose, or are you just one of those nobles they invited?" The person behind the mask laughed. "You tell me, you're not wearing a mask after all.”
“Those are pretty ugly." You and your dance partner change positions. "I prefer you like this without the mask, you're very pretty.” You gave a small laugh. "You must be the one who's beautiful, redheads usually are." The woman looked you in the eyes. "Maybe we could talk in a more private place." You smiled. "I'd love to." The two of you walked to the garden.
In the garden, the mysterious woman takes off her mask, you weren't wrong, she was indeed beautiful. "Nice to meet you, Katarina." you smiled. "Y/N." Katarina sits on the garden bench. "Your parents are members of the Black Rose, aren't they?” You sit down next to her. "Yes, long before I was born." She gives a shy laugh. "They're all liars and murderers... You don't look like one of them.”
“And I'm not, it's just my parents who have these crazy ideologies of theirs, if I could, I'd be in Demacia or Ionia right now, but I would rule out going to Ionia, there's a very anti-Noxian sentiment there thanks to the war.” Katarina looks at the floor. "Demacia... That name brings back memories." You looked curious. "Are you from there?" Katarina looks at you. "No, I was born right here... It's just that it was there that I lived the best moment of my life, because I found love." You looked even more curious.
“Garen, his name is Garen, he was in the Demacian army, it could never work since we are also at war with Demacia, he would probably be executed for treason if anyone found out.” She looked sad. "Jericho Swain is still going to destroy this country with those stupid wars!" She looked at you again. "I still love him, but it could never work." You changed the subject. "So, what are you doing here? You don't look like a member of the Black Rose." Her eyes looked at you intently. "Let's just say I came to finish something." You thought it was strange that she was staring at you like that.
“You're taking too much of a risk by meeting me in a secluded location, if I were a spy you'd be dead by now." You looked even more surprised. "I... I... It's just that I found you quite peculiar…” She stopped staring at you. "Peculiar? I've heard better compliments... You look like you're also trying to forget a love." She figured it out pretty quickly. "I fell in love with a girl recently, she was in the army, she ended up dying in Ionia." Katarina's face remained still. "I'm sorry." You looked at her. "Don't be sorry, this fate was already predictable.”
You lost track of how much time you spent talking to Katarina on that bench, the more you found out about her, the more impressed you were, like how she had been trained by generals from all over the country.
“I think you need to go now, your parents must be worried." She stood up. "Thanks for the evening, I needed a little chat before I do what I came to do." You stood up too. "You keep mentioning this duty you have to do tonight but you never say what it is." She looks at you. "Let's just say it involves shocking some people at this ball."
She kisses you on the cheek before she leaves, you blush slightly.

ok this might be hella long, but I need to scream about some details about Makoto Yuki in Persona 3 Reload, because they're so missable so I feel like nobody else has noticed or cared about them other than me!!!!
Please someone hear me out 😭 (spoilers ahead)
One underrated thing about Reload, which is my favorite thing ever, is that we get to hear Makoto's thoughts when interacting with the world around him. Compare it to FES where the game's inner dialouge is in 2nd person, Makoto's inner dialouge in Reload is in first person.
I didn't give too much attention to a Makoto's thoughts in my 1st playthrough and I think it's what made me not as attached to Makoto as I would've liked in that playthrough. But god, in my 2nd playthrough, especially after watching the movies, all of that changed...
I noticed that Makoto's thoughts genuinely change as the game progresses. You see him start off as indifferent to everything, to cherishing the memories he's made with his friends.
For instance, take a look at his thoughts on the kitchen. I don't have a screenshot of this, but at first, he doesn't really care and just sees it as another tool. But as the game progresses...
Tumblr media
This dialouge makes me swoon every time 😭💜
One of the biggest hidden details is Makoto's inner thoughts when you interact with the book on the dorm table. He has individual thoughts on the handwriting of each member of SEES as they join, which were delightful to read in my 2nd playthrough.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But what shocked me the most was after Shinji dies, if you interact with the book, then here are Makoto's inner thoughts:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That "..." doesn't show up if you interact with the book again. This was very intentional. And god, did that hit me extremely hard. In fact, if you interact with anything involving Shinji after he passes, you can really see how much Makoto respected him :((
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once January rolls around, Makoto's thoughts change to this sweet message 😭💜
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ngl I almost teared up when I saw this for the first time. Especially since it was my 2nd playthrough, and I was actually attached to Makoto this time + I knew what was up ahead :')
shit there's even dialouge if you go to the bathroom on the Promised day 😍
Tumblr media
Don't even get me started on Makoto's inner dialouge on March 4th. Pretty much everything interactable is changed to fit the mood of how tired Makoto is, but also how much he's appreciated the year and the memories he's made.
Like when you interact with the kitchen, his inner dialouge about the kitchen changes once last time to this (credits to alanamisako):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This shit made me burst into tears so badly 😭😭😭 "I'll never forget those precious memories" FOUL atlus, FOUL!!! His thoughts on Shinji's room change on March 4th as well 🥲
Just seeing how much Makoto had grown throughout the game, and knowing what was to come, made this, and all the other March 4th dialouge, even harder to get through in my 2nd playthrough. It also resonated with me, because I too will never forget the precious memories I've made with this game...
Things like this make me appreciate Reload so much. Interacting with every little thing is my favorite pass time in video games that allow me to do it. I've probably wasted so much time in games doing this. But most game's interactables don't have this depth, and they certainly don't change at all, even as the game and protagonist develop. I also feel like nobody else takes the time to really interact with everything or see if there's anything else to see before they progress (trust me, if a game says go left, I'm always going to go right first), and it makes me sad that so much of this, and other details, go unnoticed. I've certainly heard "I've never noticed that" a lot when sharing these sorts of things with people 😭
Things like this really help flesh out the protagonist people call "bland". I really love silent protagonist and developing their personality based on their thoughts on the world around them. I also love worldbuilding and learning about other characters through it.
And I'm trying so hard to not let Makoto take Joker's place as my favorite protagonist (cuz the rest of SEES have already done that to the PTs LOL) but it's been getting harder these days. Makoto is just so perfect! I love his growth & seeing all of his inner thoughts and combining it with movie Makoto's AMAZING characterization (plz watch the p3 movies ya'll) just made me super attached to him!! I could scream about Makoto all day. He cares so much for his friends, and it's thanks to them that he's able to appreciate the life he didn't know he could have 🥲
So I highly encourage you to interact with everything when playing Reload! From NPCs, to random things that aren't the main objective (trying to leave when you're supposed to be fighting a full moon shadow leads to some funny dialouge for instance), etc etc.. especially as the game progresses. I mean, we all laughed at the 3 coffins in the Love Hotel, and there's so many other details and foreshadowing like that I can't even get into! It really immerses you and attaches you to the protag, but also makes the end of the game hit hard...That "my eyes feel heavy" got me horribly in my 2nd playthrough after keeping up with Makoto's thoughts the entire game HOO BOY!🥲
I also recommend you do this with other games as well. Video games have always been an experience over just a game to me. And I want to experience as much of the game as I can, even silly little things like this :)

Hoggle could not do much more than raise a brow at Selva’s words. The dwarf had the impression that he was just handed a puzzle that was missing most of the pieces. Why were they even talking about this? The Summer Queen was being vague while also digging around. He realized.
What was the point of this conversation?
Hoggle couldn’t be sure; but he knew not to take for granted that Selva was bringing up Noctus Labryinthus and his less than liked successor.
He’s distracted from his thoughts as they start to land, finally taking in just where it was that they were coming down. His eyes start tracing the familiar calling cards of dwarven city building, and marveled at the unfamiliar aspects the architecture had taken due to being in the Summer Court. The feeling of Mars’ arm draping over him made Hoggle look up at the Urru.
Alongside the Bowie conversation, he’d have to talk to her about what her thoughts on the whole Jareth and Noctus thing were. It looked like the The Labyrinth, or at least it’s king, had a bigger hand in all of their current problems than just the ownership of the Bog of Eternal Stench. Hoggle didn’t know what to make of it, but maybe her outside perspective could….
”……I’m surprised you have so many dwarfs settled here…“
He mutters out idly, eyes turning to the Summer Queen once more.
"Speaking of the Goblin Kingdom, I’d always had the impression that my kind weren’t really seen around these parts. At least, the goblins and the fieries in the Labyrinth gave me that impression. But now I see that I was wrong….”
adara-of-the-flame
"Oh, dwarfs can be found anywhere they want to plant themselves." Selva Roja mused. "They're just so stubborn, they usually prefer to stick to one thing....no offense."
Mars considered this. "Like the ones in Lord of the Rings?"
"I don't know what that is, dear. But dwarfs...theyr'e resourceful, and sturdy. Like potatoes. They can pretty much thrive anywhere. And, they're good with building things. These dwarfs--" Selva Roja made a wide gesture to the city before them as she set the pair down on the ground. "I think it was several thousand years ago. Some had come here in search of starting a new colony. They saw that the land was good, so I let them live in this mountain. It took a few generations before they started going 'topside' more, but now they're a welcome sight."
==================================
Yumika had a rather...(un)interesting evening. Kitsune, by design, are supposed to be clever. And, the more tails a Kitsune gains, the more wisdom they increase in.
Yet, Yumika had never been much of a speller. Oh, she could do wonderfully well in her own language, and her haikus were perfect for the sake of pridefull duty.
So, why in the name of Cornucopia Sunfall herself, was Scrabble so fang-grindingly hard? The other creatures sharing the playing board fared well enough; even Dumpling, in his limited vocabulary, managed to spell a multitude of, 'Wehs', 'Mehs', and even a 'Grrr' with acrobatic enthusiasm accross the playing board.
Yumika herself hadn't won a single game.
But, one couldn't blame her. She hadn't had a chance to get away from her group at all that night, to get to tasks she'd much rather be attending to. Private tasks.
She snapped to attenttion when Ol' Hickory tapped her ear with his cane. The group had fallen asleep on the forest floor around the board, safe and warm. "What?"
"Yer friends er back." The jackalope hopped over to do the same with Sir Didymus. "Thought you'd want t' know."

Hey, Charlie, I need some advice. I recently went to visit a friend who lives in Slateport, and I found out she was gifted an Alolan Vulpix. I'm no pokemon expert, but I tried to ask if she thinks Slateport is a good place for the little guy, and she just brushed me off.
I'm worried I might just be too pushy, but I've visited some family in Alola, and anytime I saw an Alolan Vulpix there, their trainers had them in colder environments. My friend's Vulpix didn't seem very comfortable there, either - but, like I said, I'm no expert. Do you have any advice I can give to my friend? Or am I just pushing something that doesn't matter?
no, that's not an appropriate environment for an alolan vulpix. it's far too warm in slateport for the vast majority of the year. i imagine your friend's vulpix is probably having a tough time. i'm sorry that you're in a tough situation with this- it's hard to tell a friend that they're hurting their pokemon.
there are a couple of things you can do here. you can keep working towards convincing your friend that her vulpix isn't feeling well out in slateport. i find that the most effective way to do this is to keep the focus on behaviors that indicate that the vulpix is too hot. excessive panting, steam rising from its body, and frequent scattering of ice shards from its tail are all signs that her vulpix is trying to cool down but can't keep up against the temperature. you can talk to her too about ice-type susceptibility to heat exhaustion/heat stroke as well as defrost syndrome, a condition in which ice types become so fatigued from heat exposure that they temporarily lose the ability to produce ice at all. the more you can do to gently show her that her vulpix needs help, the better a chance that she'll listen.
ideally, this vulpix would be rehomed to a colder environment so that it could enjoy time outside and get to experience snow and ice. your friend can try to provide it a proper cold room and use things like nevermeltice to help it stay cool, but that's a very expensive and time-consuming project. if she gets to the point where she's considering rehoming, support her and let her know it's not a bad thing to do if it's for the pokemon's sake. i don't think you should call the rangers on her for a welfare assessment quite yet, but remember that they're a good resource in handling situations like this and can help you work with her on making the best choice for the vulpix.

✱˚。⋆ ↪ 𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 . ( a collection of dialogue prompts from the film the hobbit : the desolation of smaug . adjust phrasing as necessary . )
[Cut for length.]
this is no chance meeting , is it , [ name ] ?
take back your homeland .
what if i were to help you reclaim it ?
that's not the worst of it .
we have another problem .
what did i tell you ? quiet as a mouse .
will you just listen ? i'm trying to tell you there's something else out there .
the bear is unpredictable , the man can be reasoned with .
come away from there , it's not natural . none of it .
it's obvious , he's under some dark spell .
you'll be safe here tonight ... i hope .
we grow in number , we grow in strength .
death will come to all .
there are others like you ?
you're running out of time .
a darkness lies upon that forest .
i would not venture there except in great need .
go now while you have the light .
this forest feels ... sick . as if a disease lies upon it .
something moves in the shadows unseen , hidden from our sight .
if our enemy has returned , we must know .
i would not do this unless i had to .
you've changed , [ name ] .
you must stay on the path . do not leave it . if you do , you'll never find it again .
is there no end to this accursed forest ?
we're going around in circles , we are lost .
the sun . we have to find the sun .
we're being watched .
they're growing bolder .
not just a thief , but a liar as well .
i myself suspect a more prosaic motive .
i have seen how you treat your friends .
you turned away from the suffering of my people .
a hundred years is a mere blink in the life of an elf . i'm patient . i can wait .
did he offer you a deal ?
shh ! there are guards nearby .
you were supposed to be leading us out , not further back in !
are you mad ? they'll find us .
please . please , you must trust me .
this is not a nice place to meet .
why now , [ name ] ? i don't understand .
a human sorcerer could not summon such evil .
in our blindness , the enemy has returned .
the enemy is preparing for war .
i started this . i cannot forsake them , they are in grave danger .
you want me to cast my friends aside ?
i think we've outrun the orcs .
we've no weapons to defend ourselves .
do it again , and you're dead .
what makes you think i would help you ?
no doubt you have some hungry mouths to feed .
oh , come on - enough of the niceties .
i would like to know who you are . and what you're doing in these lands .
we need food , supplies ... weapons . can you help us ?
i'd wager there are ways to enter that town unseen .
for that , you'd need a smuggler .
there was more he could have told us .
i don't care what he calls himself , i don't like him .
we don't have to like him , we just have to pay him .
i've been bled dry by this adventure ! and what have i seen for my investment ?
if you value your freedom , you'll do as i say .
folk in this town are suffering .
you'd do well to remember ; we know where you live .
it's a small town , [ name ] , everyone knows where everyone lives .
who would have the nerve to question my authority ?
you promised us weapons .
death ! that is what you'll bring upon us .
have you forgotten what happened to [ name / location ] ?
let us not be so quick to lay blame .
join us when you're healed .
[ name ] , you belong with the company .
i belong with my brother .
we have no time to wait , we're on our own .
the evil that is hidden here ... i command it reveal itself .
you have keen eyes , [ name ] .
let all those who doubted us rue this day !
i know these walls ... these halls , this stone .
i do not know what you'll find down there .
it never ceases to amaze me . the courage of hobbits .
if there is in fact a live dragon down there , don't waken it .
come , now ... don't be shy . step into the light .
there is something about you , something you carry .
there you are , thief in the shadows .
i did not come to steal from you .
do you think flattery will keep you alive ?
what else do you claim to be ?
truly , you are mistaken .
you have nice manners , for a thief and a liar .
i know the smell and taste of dwarf .
they are drawn to treasure like flies to dead flesh .
did you think i did not know this day would come ?
you should leave us .
and go where ? there is nowhere to go .
the dragon , it's going to kill us .
i kill where i wish , when i wish .
my armor is iron , no blade can pierce me .
i need you to distract the guards .
time to do what , to get killed ?
yes , i'm afraid . i'm afraid for you .
you're not yourself .
the darkness is coming ... it will spread to every corner of the land .
you were only ever a means to an end .
i will not part with a single coin . not one piece of it .
your reputation precedes you .
you have no equal on this earth .
i think our little game ends here .
so tell me , thief ... how do you choose to die ?
we've given him the slip .
there may be a way out .
it's our only chance , we have to try .
i've heard tales of the wonders of elvish medicine .
that was a privilege to witness .
i will not die like this . cowering . gasping for breath .
if this is to end in fire , then we will all burn together .
perhaps it is time i paid them a visit .
this isn't their fault !
you care about them , do you ? good . then you can watch them die .
i am taking back what you stole .
you will take nothing from me .
i laid low your warriors of old . i instilled terror in the hearts of men .
this is not your kingdom . these are dwarf lands .
revenge ? revenge ?! i will show you revenge !
i am fire . i am death .
what have we done ?

Wave After Wave
Steddie Microfic January Prompt: New || Countdown to Midnight Prompt: Hawkins Lab | Word Count: 517 | Rating: T | CW: Hawkins Lab Test Subjects | POV: Steve | Tags: Hawkins Lab AU, Childhood Meeting, Making Friends
Tumblr media
There's a new kid today.
And he's little.
That's the first thought Steve has. Too little to survive this place, not without help. Steve's help, maybe. Steve doesn't have friends, but he wants this new boy to be his friend. He looks like he could use a friend, feels like it, too. He's so sad. Steve can feel it radiating off him, wave after wave.
It's overwhelming, and he breathes through it. Most of the kids here are dimming by the day, their feelings disappearing.
Not this boy. Not yet.
He's feeling a lot and Steve wants to reach out to him. Wants to smooth the rough edges and sadness away.
He can do that, sometimes. They make him practice in the lab, but he holds back. Not showing them everything he has. They don't deserve it.
"What's your name?" Steve whispers over the table in the rainbow room, pretending to scribble across the page with crayons. He doesn't care about coloring. They can't make him.
"I'm Seven," he says, and his whole being doesn't believe that. Steve can tell. Steve knows they've given him that number, but he plays dumb.
"Not your age. Your name."
"I'm not seven!" he snaps, "I'm ten! My name is Seven."
He's older than Steve, but doesn't look it. They want to call Steve by a number, too. Five. But that's not his name. Not who he is, no matter what they say. And they say a lot. Do a lot. With needles, testing and pills he's supposed to swallow, but hides in his cheek and spits in the toilet, later.
He's trouble.
They all say so. Too willful. Too strong for his age. Too dumb.
He's not dumb. He's one of the only ones here that still knows who he is, that means he can't be dumb, he's pretty sure.
Steve Harrington. He's Steve Harrington, and he'll always be Steve Harrington. Five's a number, not a name.
It's not who he is.
And now he wants to know who this boy is.
"Here," Steve says, tearing a page from his book, and splitting the pile of crayons in front of him, pushing half over to Not-Seven.
He takes them.
"Where'd you come from?" Steve asks.
"Nowhere," he answers, and Steve knows that can't be true. They all came from somewhere, they weren't hatched here out of eggs in the lab, despite what Dr. Brenner likes to think. They're people. Kids. Not test subjects.
Despite what powers they might have.
"What's your superpower?" Steve asks, and the kid just shakes his head. He has to have a power or he wouldn't be here. Steve closes his eyes and concentrates, trying to feel him out, fully.
All he sees is red, and flames licking at his feet.
He's a firestarter. Steve's pretty sure.
"I'm an empath," Steve says, "whatever that means."
Steve knows exactly what that means.
"You're a firestarter," Steve tells him.
"I don't mean to," he whispers, voice broken.
"I know."
Then he's silent, they both are.
"I'm Eddie," he finally says.
Eddie.
Steve and Eddie.
He'll save this one.

Very good thoughts here on Steph's conservatism, esp re: punitive justice. She's been on the "losing" side of that of the revolving prison door for her whole life. Dad was in and out, and rather than make her life better, it only made it worse. Not only did Dad never reform, but the stress of having a parent who's in and out can't be denied. Visiting Arthur in prison and listening to him rant about Batman rather than just be with his family (can you imagine him spending that short, precious time expressing how much he misses his little girl? of course not), dealing with Arthur's lawyers and showing up to support him at his court appearances and helping gather paperwork and maybe even having to testify sometimes, having to adjust to shifting dynamics within the house and the daily routine when he's gone and then having to shift again once he's out... it's all exhausting. There's no actual relief there, just an endless cycle of bad and worse and bad and worse. At least he can't hit mom or lock Steph in the closet, yes, but his shadow is always there (probably calling every chance he gets to complain and/or demand money for his commissary). And given how he's shown to react to being put away in the first place, I don't think it's a stretch to say he probably takes out his anger at Batman and authority in general on his family. It's like they're unwitting secondary antagonists in Steph's life -- constantly poking the dragon, but never actually slaying it. It's no wonder she'd be in favor of locking criminals away forever and throwing away the key... or just ending them straight-up, because they always break out in Gotham anyway, don't they? I think it's a little more ambiguous regarding her feelings on reproductive rights. As far as I recall, we're never actually shown how she feels about abortion in general. We see her lash out angrily at the very idea of termination when it comes to her own pregnancy at least twice, yes... but that's also, from my experience, a pretty common reaction, even among some people who whole-heartedly believe in a woman's right to choose. Some women can't bear the thought of going through with that themselves -- just like some women can't bear the thought of carrying a baby to term, even though they have no problem with other people making that choice. We also see her lash out at some friends at school for acting like her having a baby is cool because she gets to miss school and gets a lot of attention... which is fair, because that's a childish way of looking at it. It's completely dismissing the actual stress of being a 15-year-old who's visibly pregnant and obviously going through a difficult time. She expresses that she thinks her classmate who kept a baby was stupid, which is in line with the rest of her conversation with these girls. Unfortunately, that doesn't really tell us much about what she actually thinks her friend should have done. Put the baby up for adoption, like Steph does? Or terminate the pregnancy? What does Steph think about the choices of other women? We just don't know, other than that she obviously doesn't think being a teen mom is cool at all (though she will waver on that a few times, as she struggles with her own desire to keep her baby -- once again, absolutely understandable).
Obviously, we can't really divorce the writing from the writer entirely. But, from an IC perspective, even if Steph is actually anti-choice, I suspect her feelings on the matter are rather complex. As far as I'm aware, we've never seen any sign that the Browns are religious in any way. That doesn't mean they're not, because quite a lot of people hang onto religious sentiment passed down through generations while not actively worshipping, but we have no reason to believe Steph would have a religious motivation for her conservatism. However, I think it would be fair to speculate that her own experiences may give her strong feelings in that direction. Her father was outright abusive, and her mother was detached -- unreachable and unsupportive -- for much of her childhood. How often must Steph have felt like an unwanted child?? Locked in a closet by Arthur because he didn't want to see/deal with her, and not let out for god-knows-how-long by her mother because Crystal was too stoned to notice she was gone? Invisible. Unwanted. Unloved. Did she wonder if her parents wished they had aborted her? Did she wonder if she would have been better off if they had?
Some people do have that reaction to their childhood abuse experience. Some people come to the conclusion that it's kinder, better, not to bring a child into the world if it's only destined to suffer. But other people may feel differently about their experience, and I think Steph is one of those. She's always been one to rage against the dying of the light. Though the question may have occurred to her, I don't think she would have concluded that "yes" was the answer to "would I have been better off if I had never been born". We've seen that part of her reaction to her own abuse has been to become protective over other children. To Steph, the idea of a child being unwanted, like she may have felt, may be horrifying, yes. But I suspect that the solution, to her, is to give that child a life where it is wanted. Even if it can't be with her. And aborting that fetus would be the ultimate gesture of abuse and neglect and rejection -- something Stephanie Brown just cannot abide from herself, at the very least. And I wouldn't be surprised if she felt that way about other potential mothers, as well.
People who want to argue that Steph isn’t or shouldn’t be written as being innately conservative and committed to imprisonment as a punishment and source of retributive justice confuse me.
Steph. The character who has multiple storylines revolving around her frustration that people don’t get the punishment they deserve. Who has a written history of being failed over time and hurt because people didn’t punish people who committed crimes around and to her.
Who has a repeated tendency to punch male characters for upsetting her (Arthur Brown, Tim, Tito, Dean).
Who has writers as diverse as Chuck Dixon, Jon Lewis, Mariko Tamaki and James Tynion exploring this in their writing of her?
Steph mentally sides with victims and seeks to give criminals what she thinks they deserve. She puts herself in those shoes pretty often in her perspective: she originally went after her father because she was mad he was getting away with committing crimes; she sided with and was completely derailed from hero work by the question of whether her work as a vigilante had value – because it caused problems punishing criminals – by the Victim Syndicate; who gets mad over the concept of criminals getting extra chances to reform when they’ve proven themselves to be recidivists in opposition to other Bats like Bruce’s optimism that people can change (Arthur, frequently; also Harvey Dent in One Bad Day).
This is a beat that gets used often, for Steph. It’s imbued in a lot of her characterisation. Just because you like a character does not and should not mean that you have to agree 100% with their perspectives and politics, and vice versa.

Ok i guess i'm getting my Thai ass slightly into this mess.
*disclaimer Thai people are not a monolite yadayada. i'm internet friends with @lurkingshan and @waitmyturtles. also i can't botherd to read everything that everyone had posted, i do have the time but not the energy to engage with this whole mess.
First thing first I DIDN'T LIKED OR FINISHED Spare Me Your Mercy. i found that show to be dull af so i stopped at ep 5. so here one Thai audience who didn't like that show.
Because i didn't care about this show that much i haven't been keeping up with the discourse. so i'm not gonna speak like i know what everyone had all said and done. i'm not here to pass judgement on anyone and i will admit that this post in itself may constitute as a vague post. ya'll write too much and i'm just here to say my piece.
So here i go YA'LL NEEDS TO CHILL! like idk what is going on but sometime from various instances i feel like i'm being spoken over when some of you cited the most poppular Thai fans reactions to shows as the default thing that everyone need to adhere to. and it feel patronizing sometime when people think that Thai QLs are this precious baby that needs protecting from outside criticism. i did said in my rant that ya'll are the guests but i also did said YOU'RE ALSO WELCOME HERE. Thailand is not a perfect country and it's a diverse one, and we deserve good faith criticism as much as any countries.
Lastly i may have not know @lurkingshan and @waitmyturtles for very long but my interactions with them both on here and in private has been very positive and i like them both as people and as critics/opinions havers of Asian media (Shan would shames you sometime when you're simping for horrible men, but hey we all need friend like that.) so i want people to keep that in mind that This Wet Dumpster Thai gay man who feels seen by Thai QLs and love them so much that he going back to school at age 30 to pursue a career in This scary Industry is saying that they're Good Peeps and Thai QLs and Asian Media fandom in general is a better/smarter place with them in it.
CHLL THE FUCK OUT AND DON'T BE DICKS!
