David Shaw Headcanons

Some David headcanons I wanted to share alongside a few minor Angel ones, enjoy!

Davids dad used to bake Davids favorite cake for his birthdays when he was still alive. After his death it's hard for David to enjoy his birthday because it reminds him of the loss. When David and Angel got together, Angel despite being god awful at baking or cooking in general, still went out of their way to make him a cake for his birthday. The cake was borderline inedible but the whole gesture was something that David really appreciated.

Definitely a personal headcanon of how he looks like but I see him with more longer thicker hair, his dad had similar hair while his mom in the photos and videos he has of her has shorter hair. If he were to ever cut his hair shorter, I'm sure he'd definitely look more like his mom.

I can see him having a personal journal to write in, especially around the time his dad passed. He wasn't able to grieve properly due to his position as being the new alpha so he turned to writing his thoughts down instead. It was easier with a private journal and in a way it helped ground him enough to get through the week. David doesn't write much in his journals nowadays due to finally being able to properly grieve and Angel being a major part of his support system. But, he does occasionally look back on those journal entries to see how far he's truly come.

David is very much a well groomed person and takes care of his hair very well. Conditions that motherfucker almost every day and shampoos it every 3-4 days thoroughly. It's just part of his routine that he sticks to.

Really doesn't like energy drinks in general but absolutely is a coffee addict.

Has matching Minecraft skins on Minecraft with Angel whenever they play together.

Angel managed to convince him to watch a few Aphmau videos with them specifically the Pheonix Drop series and he lowkey was invested in Garroth as a character. Angel teased David that he was like Aaron in the series and now David doesn't like him anymore. (He doesn't hate Aaron, it's definitely more lighthearted than he lets on but he'd rather let Asher cook dinner any day than admit that to Angel.)

David is strangely really good at tic tac toe, he always manages to win and believe me when I say his friends have TRIED to beat him at the game with little to no success.

Makes it a point to try and cook with Angel at least once per week, quality time is apart of his love language and he treasures every moment with them.

David usually keeps his hair up in a ponytail but has let Angel stylize it before when they're just relaxing.

During the Quinn situation, David was definitely on high alert with the safety of his mate. He knows Quinn isn't stupid enough to try but knowing Angel could've gotten hurt like Darlin's friend who got attacked just by associating with them shook him to his core. I don't think he'd ever forgive himself if something did happen to them and he wasn't there to protect them.

Davids dad was a really good cook and made a lot of his own recipes, he always wrote them down on note cards which David has saved and kept safe in a tiny wooden box in the kitchen. When David misses his dad, especially around the anniversary of his death, he gets out one of those recipes and cooks it. It's nostalgic for him and eases some of that grief that still lingers.

David really hates the cold so when winter hits, Angel is his personal space heater throughout those frosty months. Though, he does like spooking Angel a lil bit with how cold his hands can get. He put his hands under their shirt one time when his hands were particularly cold and they nearly jumped.

Angel gives David playful love bites and David loves recieving and giving them.

David has trained his body to wake up 10 minutes before his actual alarm goes off in the morning so he can cuddle Angel longer.

Dark chocolate is his favorite, it's not too sweet and has more health benefits compared to regular chocolate.

I feel Jess's behaviour isn't black or white.

Both sides are correct.

Jess festhised gay men in her stories, queerbaited us, whitewashed her own characters from time to time(sometimes it's shaders, sometimes it's clearly her) and wrote racist plot lines and characters.

I do not agree with the claim she hasn't tried to better herself. Kc has gotten a backstory and a reason for her behaviour aswell as a real name "Nana ashida". And has stopped with the speech and honorifics. That's a clear sign of change.

Gay characters got more and more prominent in her more recent research up until the cocomau era. With characters like Ava's two gay dads. Which are an example of great representation.

The art that she uses, used to be way more whitewashed. But has changed to represent the skintones better recently. Although many shorts still look whitewashed. There's a clear effort of change. The whitewashing instances are also sometimes because of shaders (like Travis) and sometimes because of the genuine lightening of the skintones (like Zenix and Brian)

She also did normalise a messed up age gap. But then again, she was victim of this age gap herself and likely doesn't realise it being bad. That doesn't take away from the impact it had. Especially in the Minecraft roleplay community.

What I am trying to say, is that the tiktoks talking about how their childhood creators got ruined and mention Aphmau in the same sentence as groomers, pedophiles and abusers. Are too harsh in my opinion, aswell as the enormous hate on the YouTube awards things.

But I do believe Jess to have spread harmful messages, and I believe her not to be some innocent angel.

A lot of her more problematic writing choices can be blamed on all the anime she watches. However I don't see this as an excuse.

People need to stop thinking black and white. Not everyone is all good or all bad.

I don't support Jess. But I don't think her name should be mentioned next to James Charles either.

I don't believe the things Jess did to be irredeemable. Many things are just horribly ignorant(that doesn't take away from the impact), honestly. But I do believe she has an incredibly long way to go before I'd claim myself to be a 'Jess supporter'.

So I was browsing the MCD wiki (which sidenote thank you @/lggy for maintaining the wiki you are a godsend) and I noticed that because of the sepia or whatever filter they used, Zianna and Aaron's wife Lilly look really similar so I thought "what if I made them sisters"

THINK ABOUT IT FOR A SECOND. If I make it so that Lilly and Aaron get married early that would effectively make Zianna the sister of the Lord of Falconclaw and a pretty valuable person to marry in terms of alliances so Zianna would make the decision to marry Garte and therefore O'Khasis would never move on Falconclaw and hey if Garte died early (most descendants of Esmund have a habit of dying young in my rewrite) that would effectively let Zianna rule O'Khasis as long as she had an heir that could wield Esmund's relic.

It also would make Aaron more involved in the plot because I will be honest, while I do not hate Aaron because I can separate him from Jason enough. Aaron feels like a character who would have been a one-off character or at least one who was a side character to the level of say Lucinda. I know the Divine Warriors and Irene are supposed to be the kinda main story but I will be honest with you the Ro'Meaves and their absolute chaos are way more interesting to me. Zane was the season one's villain, Garroth and Vylad were mysteries that we got to upwrap with both Ru'aun as a whole and some stuff about the Shadow Knights. In making Aaron Zianna's brother-in-law and the uncle of Garroth, Zane and Vylad to me, besides just making him more connected to the main plot, does two main things.

Aaron in current MCD canon is really only connected to two characters Aphmau and Zane. I'm changing his relationship to Aph to be more of a mentorship one because I think he sees the young daughter he and his wife wanted to have but never got too because of Zane. to me it makes the massacre at Falconclaw be that much more personal because instead of this random priest just killing your wife, child, and entire village for no real reason imagine this. You're a lord of a village and relatively recently two of your nephews have died and one of them quite gruesomely, you've got one nephew left and he requests a family visit and you accept because hey the kid has always been a bit weird but he just lost both of his brothers and he probably needs support right now so you extend an invitation for him to visit. He gets there and he somehow got to be the head of the major religion in your area and the kid's not even 19 yet and looks like he hasn't slept in days so you rush the tour and send him to your home, maybe your wife can get him to eat something, or your son might cheer him up for at least a little while. You think nothing of it and keep doing your job until you hear screaming and see so many dead. Your wife is dead, your son is dead everyone is dead and the only one alive is your nephew and when he looks at you he fucking smiles and says it "it was necessary but don't worry I'm sure you'll join them soon enough" before walking off leaving you to bury bodies for years. Making Aaron be related to the Ro'meaves in my opinion changes his story from just a fridging backstory to a classic tragedy because it becomes a betrayal bathed and forged from blood.

I think it would give him a better motivation to risk his life to get Garroth back and it would make him interact with the other characters because he wants to know what kind of man his non-evil nephew turned into. That causes him to be more and more social with everyone. Maybe he spars and trains with Katelyn, He teaches Dante and his kids how to fish because Aaron never got to teach Jacob how, but still wants to pass on that skill. Maybe he knows things about shadow knights that most people don't, and he promises to teach Laurance in case he might help him. Maybe he takes Travis hunting because Travis never got to go on hunting trips with a parent. And then he sacrifices himself. Katelyn ignores the painful feeling she gets when she looks at the spare chalk and wrappings she has for spars. The fishing poles in Dante's house get covered with dust and cobwebs, the strings rotting away and snapping. Laurance and maybe Vylad struggling with being shadow knights as the call gets stronger and wondering if Aaron would have known how to deal with it. Travis out of anger snaps his bow in half before realizing what he did and breaking down. I want Garroth to be horrified when he finally is home and realizes just who they lost to get him back. I want them to care about him and I want his sacrifice to be more than love triangle fodder

You had to finish this, you had to finish this paper, then you'd need to finish the next paper, then the next, and the next. God you didn't even feel like you were anywhere near close to being finished at all, that didn't even account for your piling chores you had been putting off. The dishes looked steep and your next choice of clean clothes was getting harder to find, you just had so many things you had to get done and eventually finish. The world was too fast for you and it was tiring, it didn't help that your family was less than helpful, often brushing the work you had to do off, or downright ignoring your growing issues and need of help. You wanted to cry, you felt so alone and like no one would help you or show you even an ounce of empathy. Garroth was out on some mission lady aphmau sent him on, aphmau was busy with being a whole lord, your family couldn't care less, friends were worried for themselves and it left you feeling so useless and sad for your own situation. You laid your head on your desk, groaning wishing it could all be over. That was until you heard a small and soft “honey?” next to your ear. 

While it was true, he was out looking for collecting information for lord aphmau, garroth had only recently came back to phoenix drop, and he couldn't just go back to his home, he had to come see you, he had to come make sure the one he held so dear was still smiling like he loved so much, and maybe he wanted to steal a kiss or two. You brought out the fun side of Garroth, the side of him that he didn't even know he still had, the side that made him do these small romantic things for you, he'd bring the moon to you if you so desired it. Your presence calmed him and you became the oxygen he needed to live, hence why being apart hurt him so much, he longed for you those two weeks he was gone, he wanted your warmth in his arms, he wanted to feel your fingers trail through his hair, and he needed to hear your kind voice once again.

It was easy to get into your home, you had given him a key afterall. You were always one to welcome him into your space. So as soon as he closed the door as softly as he could he slipped off his shoes and helmet, setting them in their respective places, he expected you to be asleep, to be resting, hence why he was so quiet, but as soon as he saw you sitting at your desk the tired yet excited smile slowly drained from his lips, being replaced with worry for you. As soon as you set your cute little head down on that desk he slowly moved behind you, getting close to your ear and whispering that name you loved so dearly. 

You jumped and hurriedly threw a pencil at him in fear before recognizing that blonde haired man in front of you, the fear turning into happiness, you suddenly didn't feel so sad, you hugged him tightly and took in his smell, you smiled and closed your eyes, whenever you were in his arms you felt ok, you felt loved…safe.He enveloped his arms around you and let out a small laugh, “i don't think that pencil could do much harm against lil ol me” he smiled as he slightly pulled away, “my love? Why are you still awake? It's so late” he hummed softly, his voice laced with worry. You didn't know how to explain anything, simply meeting his eyes with a frown. He knew you so well that he simply placed a kiss on your head and picked up the candle by your desk, using it to illuminate the way as he took your hand, leading you upstairs to your bedroom.

It was quiet. Although not an angry silence, just one filled with worry and care. Once you were finally to your room you sat down on your bed, garroth set the candle down and kneeled in front of you, looking up at you with those beautiful blue eyes, “my love, you need proper rest, how long have you been…being stretched so thin?” he asked, he could read anyone easily, but he could read you with just your eyes alone. You gave him your answer as you attempted to look away, but he wasn't having it, using his hand to softly guide your hand into looking back at him, “you need to be more kind to yourself, baby i'm not gonna let you work yourself to death, has anyone been helping you?” he asked  as he used his other hand to trace circles into your palm. When you answered with a no he seemed more sad, not angry, nor disappointed, just sad. “Can no one see your workload? Good god baby i'm so sorry” he said as he brought your hand to his lips, kissing your hand and closing his eyes. Garroth felt bad for leaving you, he knew you could handle yourself yes but it didn't change his want to always be next to you, to always be around you. And knowing you had been suffering hurt him so much, he knew that he wouldn't leave your side until you were ok and taken care of. 

“Ill always be here to help you, ill always be here to see the work you put in, the pain you endure. My sweetheart, I will continue to do all that and more.” he softly rambled and met his eyes with yours, he was so filled with love and adoration for you. “I don't know why anyone who claims to love you wouldnt see the work you do, but i do, and ill do everything to help you be at ease.” he continued, his voice was so hurt yet so honest, so clear with his desires and love, it was you, he desired you, your happiness and smile. This all made you relax, your shoulders lowered from the tense position they were in before. That made Garroth smile, he slowly stood and let your hands go, moving to get out of his guards uniform, while you slowly made yourself comfortable, laying in the sheets, his words took so much off your shoulders, your back. So you waited for him to join you in bed.

Eventually he slowly sat in bed, putting out the candle and laying next to you, he slowly pulled you close to him resting his chin on the top of your head, and you resting yours near his chest, allowing you to hear his heartbeat, to feel his warmth, presence, and love, before you dozed off you faintly remember hearing him hum a soft tune, attempting to help you sleep.

Aarmau: You're afraid to differentiate from canon, even if it might not be the most interesting option. Either that or you REALLY have a thing for tall myterious dudes with tragic backstories who are kind of a dick to you. "I can fix him" energy. It's not going to work.

Garmau: You're into the classics. And hey, we've already spent about three quarters of the series dealing with this man's Daddy Issues, we might as well get something out of it.

(Couldn't think of what the ship name for this one is but Cadenza and Aphmau): You care a lot about the storyline value of each character, and think that no matter what a couple should support eachother. You also overlap a surprising amount with Aphlyn shippers.

Aphlyn: You have a thing for hot warrior ladies, and honestly good for you. You like the stoic, tortured soul vibes Garroth gives, but don't like how the fandom treats him as an incorruptable knight in shining armour, even if that's inaccurate. Or you just wanted it to be gay.

Aphcinda: You have good taste.

Travmau: You used to be in the Laurmau camp, but feel his fuckboyness should be more exadurated.

Shadmau: You're one for historical accuracy, but not for healthy relationships.

Vyladmau: You like very rare ships simply for the sake of being different. I don't fully understand you, but it's far from the worst choice you could have made.

Also this is just my opinion, and is very obviously lacking in ships that don't involve Aphmau(Garrance for the win), I just thought it was fun-

Stop blaming characters for bad writers

Seriously, stop fucking doing this. While this is a post that could certainly be applicable to MANY fandoms, I'm mainly directing this whole rant at my target audience which is mentally ill minecraft obsessed freaks.

If a character is written badly, gets badly fumbled by the creator, or has the ball dropped in regards to their arc in some way, a lot of people will blame the character, as if they're a real conscious person making these decisions. When they aren't. They're a block man literally being controlled by two people who just aren't very good writers and one or both of them are incredibly sexist, kind of racist, ableist, and just bad writers in general.

Yeah, Laurance does some pretty shitty things through out Season 2 of MCD, actively crossing lines he wouldn't have previously crossed. We as fans can cope by saying something something calling, or just saying Laurance is a bad abusive person, but the reality is that the writers wanted to force the series to fit a specific vision and as a result were willing to do anything to get the series to that point. In order to make Aaron the most favorable suitor for Aphmau, her previous suitors need to be out of the picture, or clearly inferior options.

Garroth suffered the out of the picture, being mostly absent outside of a few cutscenes here and there until episode 81 of season 2, but episode 81 is the culmination of the writers goals to make Aarmau happen. By the time Garroth has returned to the series, the damage has already been done. He's not getting the life he wants. And Laurance is written out of the picture as well, but only after being shown to be inferior because Jesson were pushing an agenda.

Laurance didn't deteriorate as a person due to neglect of his physical and mental well being after a severely traumatic experience. He deteriorated as a character because the writers stopped giving as much of a shit about him and instead were using the series as self indulgent fanfiction of alternate versions of themselves. That's not Laurance's fault.

And this applies to any character who was completely fumbled in MyStreet due to this similar focus on wish fulfillment from the writers. Jess has stated that the relationship between Aphmau and Aaron in Phoenix Drop High is reflective of her relationship with Jason, we all know this. This means that any characters who come off as total fucking creeps in that series (namely Gene), are not actually acting on the whims of their own autonomy or desires as characters. They are acting in service of telling a predetermined story that they are retroactively being added into for author fulfillment.

In this regard I fully support fandom cope and say that you should rewrite your little guys to your hearts content. But if you're going to criticize these characters for their actions, don't criticize them. They didn't do anything wrong. All characters are just puppets in service of the story or themes a writer is trying to push. If a character acts in an objectively terrible way, especially a way that isn't in line with their previous characterizations, that is a failing of the writers, not the character.

And I feel like largely a lot of us can and frequently do this. We're actively criticizing Jesson for being terrible low-key bigoted writers all the god damn time, it's like half of the content here. But when we get into character discourse I feel like some people cling onto bad actions of the canon too closely and I've seen more than a few posts presume some pretty terrible interpretations of characters based on these actions. Obviously Laurance is a character I and a lot of others are fixated on so a lot of discourse revolves around him, and it was seeing some... interesting takes on him that prompted me to start writing this post.

But this happens to everyone. Quite personally based on the character I was shown in MyStreet, it feels really weird that Garroth would make an insensitive comment about his brother's weight. Yeah siblings poke fun at each other and often cross lines, but if that was something Zane was seriously insecure about (which it seems like he might be) then it does make Garroth come off as a really insensitive brother, which just doesn't gel with how hard he tries to bond with Zane despite their tense relationship. And I don't think Garroth should be criticized for making those comments.

Whoever wrote those lines (Jess and/or Jason) should be criticized for writing a scene where a character is mocked by their older sibling over a physical insecurity even if said sibling would not normally do that. It's not Travis' fault that Jesson never decided to give him more of a character beyond "funny pervy guy" that's not funny in every anime they've watched until Season 5 of MyStreet. It's unfair to try and say Travis should be scrutinized for his borderline sexual harassment of some characters when it's not his fault that happened, he was written by writers who don't think this sort of behavior isn't all that bad if they make it out for comedy and punch him in the face.

And god dammit it's not Laurance's fault that his jealousy became the most prevalent emotion he felt. Laurance has always been a character to give into his vices and yet fight against them at the same time, it's what makes him compelling. If they were going to pull on those vices in order to make him a less appealing love interest, he never had a chance to really be his own character after a certain point. Because at a certain point in Season 2, Jesson stopped caring about the character they had been writing for over a hundred episodes at that point. They just wanted to canonize their self insert ship and were willing to do anything to get it.

Laurance isn't an abusive angry person who would have killed Aphmau if they got together. He's a flawed character being handled by incredibly flawed writers who are prone to making some of the worst decisions you have ever seen a creator make in regards to their character writing. He was caught in the crossfire of the adoration he received from a very dedicated fanbase, and the creator who would rather pretend he and his previous arc didn't exist for the sake of her fun. It's not Laurance's fault his arc was stilted, jerked around, and ultimately ended with him completely face planting. And yet still reliably dragging his bloodied body up at just the slightest glimmer of hope (Void Paradox).

It's deeply poetic and tragic that I can describe his character in universe and in the meta-textual sense that way, but we should never blame Laurance, or Aaron, or any other characters for things being like this.

They didn't write the show. Jess and Jason did.

In summary Aarmau comes off as unnatural

I think the main issue is how rushed and force the relationship was in the series, and the fact that it change key elements in the story to make a place for itself.

The Aarmau agenda also had to down other characters to build itself up, which sucks. A lot of character assassination stem from Aarmau. Including the way Aphmau interacts with her support. But I'd like to focus on how unnatural (and frankly problematic) this relationship comes across if you actually pay attention to how they interact with eachother.

And their relationship is certainly off.

In my former post I address a portion of this problem with Aaron not having any relationships outside of Aphmau. It is odd.

Aaron- despite being so closed off and mysterious and (quite rude in some instances), CONTINUED to follow her group around for months...but NEVER take an interest in ANYONE??? Except Aph. That is mad weird. If you like her so much to risk your life for her consistently why avoid her Support System so adamantly???

It makes the relationship seem very strange. Almost like Aaron is isolating Aphmau from her friends when building their relationship. They only really talked about his trauma or her stress-

Aaron and Aphmau are TRAUMA BONDING...

It hit me like a train! It isn't romance, it isn't a love story. It is codependency!

Aph ONLY goes to Aaron when she is stressed about her responsibilities. "Because he understands". And in turn Aaron's only personality trait is trauma- and he only really opens up to (or talks at all) to Aphmau. Think about it, this man is FOLLOWING her- for seemingly NO REASON by time the Post-Irene-Dimension arc roles around! "Having nothing" isn't really a logical reason anymore. He had NO motive to be present. He's made no connections, no character growth, no earthly ties, so WHY are you following the 🎆"magical friendship woman"🎆 if you don't want to make friends???

And I think this is great writing potential. This makes sense for the storyline in season two, as Aph was extremely overwhelmed, and the steaks had just risen from village quarrels to Armageddon. And I definitely can see where @shirazens was going with the how Aaron saw Aphmau, as a stand in or familiarity to his wife, or that he was using Aphmau to get a semblance of his late wife, Lily.

Personally I'm not amongst the re-write clan of aph-fans, (I prefer to progess with the shit show we were given). But this is a juicy narrative to explore for both, especially if you don't want to throw out Aarmau all together.

If you want to get angsty, you could argue that Aaron being so distant to Aph's support group was to isolate her from them. Again, this fits, and I am well aware Jesson did not intend this BUT Aphmau DID become a lot more distant to her companions for Aaron's sake. She became dismissive of their concerns, argued with their suspicions, and lowkey berated them because "she trusted him" and expected everyone to follow suit (fr a lot of them were so real for that, homie was acting up- ahem- Laurence- ahem- Katelyn). She put Aaron on a pedestal out of nowhere, and vouched for him undeservingly. You could argue that this was a result of isolating her, you could argue that this was just Aph blindness to Aaron's faults.

And this also really REALLY fits well with the Irene VS Shad motif and how that entire mess went down between them. I can totally see those two being codepent with one another as well with their similar struggles and pain. I can see them relying on one another too heavily. I can see that leading to suck strong feelings of betrayal. Especially if Shad was as isolated as Aaron. In fact I'd say Irene and Shad damn near prove this idea.

Aaaaaa More Cheetah Au Liochant cause I am obsessed with the idea now.

Since Meif'wa Liochant would have been unable to become a guard due to his status as a meif'wa and a Tu'la immigrant. With the growing distrust added onto the already existing distrust of meif'wa there would be no realistic way for Liochant to become a guard, instead I am going to place him as a bard and I am going to explain why.

Nana owned a maid Cafe when we first met her, which is something that I would classify as both entertainment and a service. With her ability to animate dolls and other objects, her ability to entertain helped her stay in the good graces of the people around her. Immigrants turning to the entertainment and service industry is actually incredibly common in real life so following this logic, a bard who serves at taverns would make sense. Also, as I mentioned with Nana, people are a lot less likely to hate you if you prove to be useful, whether it is servicing or entertaining.

Liochant is in a foreign country that does not share his language, culture, or even cuisine so music and entertainment is the best bet. Music is one of the few things that is cross cultural after all. Now, I don't think Liochant would only be a bard, after all there is a literal war going on and I like drama. Liochant is a thief masquerading as a bard so he can steal from those funding the Tu'la invasion.

In Season 2 and 3 it is shown that Tu'la has a large amount of influence in the Ru'aun region, even having members of the Jury of Nine in their pockets. Corrupt Ru'aun nobles who would be willing to sell out their home for money is a possibility given how we have seen several instances of corrupt lords and nobility in the series. These nobles would flaunt their wealth while showing their allegiance by hiring a Tu'la bard only to be robbed weeks later.

This could create an interesting Robin Hood scenario with Liochant stealing information and proof of nobles traitorous actions to give to the Phoenix Alliance. Garroth's sense of duty would force him to catch the thief, Katelyn would be on the fence, and Aphmau would be supportive for the good it does. Creating the Season 3 dynamic around Liochant without making it explicitly xenophobic. If I make Liochant hide his meif'wa features as a thief and make him a masked thief it creates some more nuance. Katelyn and Garroth learning to trust the tu'lanian meif'wa bard who always knows information while they hunt down the presumed human Ru'aun thief.

i'm trying to undo some of the damage caused by parasocial rumors n hater stuff.. i feel like i probably come off as a dickrider and it doesnt help that im the wiki guy on top of that and people probably perceive me as not being critical enough, but i think it's way better to approach things (especially accusations against irl people) with all the facts laid out and with critical thinking (bad-faith interpretations are not critical thinking) and also empathy/believing people's first hand experiences.

i'm mostly advocating for stopping the spread of misinformation and rumors.. but i am biased bc i love aphmau.

it's just really hard for me to hate on jess like some people here do after watching that livestream where she breaks down after talking abt the level of harassment/threats/(now as we learned, stalkers) she got during mcd s2. idk i feel bad for her people are so mean to her :(

a lot of people jump on hate trains bc they dont want to be labelled problematic hence all the ppl who tag their aphmau posts as like "jess defenders dni" "jesson supporters dni" "i dont support aphmau" and it becomes one big spiral of rumors and accusations and becomes a toxic cesspool then wonder why jess ghosted all social medias. it takes effort to get all the information and a lot of ppl dont want to do that, so thats why i'm doing it.

idk i just go about the internet as if the creators can see what i say and draw. some ppl straihgt up want to bar the creators from their own fandoms which is fucked up in my opinion. some of you people are proud of bullying the employees which is extremely gross and cringey too. thats just my opinion though

There really are issues with the workplace, a few current/former employees speak up about it. These are issues brought up in just the past few weeks:

last one is just in general that pulls in over the past couple years^ i don't have any sources for the employee who allegedly had ptsd after working at blujay/catface because i haven't looked that deeply into that in particular and dont know where to look for it

i don't really know what to say about the workplace things.. they hired new HR recently so i guess they're working on it.

I can interview a few current employees to learn more but all i know rn is people in the voice and art department

Silly but haunting confession is that I'm actually horribly obsessed with the fact that Mystreet SHARES A UNIVERSE with the Roommates role play by Sk*doesminecraft, AND a FNAF role play Jess made before Mystreet. I'm cursed by knowing this, fully horribly cursed.

Ross as a whole entire SQUIRREL shows up in a mystreet side story after leaving the Roommates series because he turned into a squirrel, Aphmaus 'night job' is literally at Freddy Fazbears Pizza or the Fredbear Family Diner or something, Aphmau shows up in Roommates.

I want to include this in my rewrite and make the Roommates cast OCs like iykyk type thing but i don't want to be murdered by the fandom so yikes

But imagine the FNAF LORE in the Mystreet universe, BECAUSE IT MAKES SENSE. Remnant and Agony, the concept of souls fused with objects... THE FNAF ROBOTS ARE JUST REALLY BADLY MADE RELICS. And that one episode of Roommates where they dimension travel with some scientific creation is just a man-made realm breaker. Someone hear me out good lord...
