I think that when the Fool last visited Chade, he was on his way south, back to their schooling place to bring home all they had learned. I doubt he will come back this way again.

Ours was a ragged and uneven parting. Each of us had intended to see the other again. Each of us had had final words to say. My days with the Fool ended like a half-played game of Stones, the outcome poised and uncertain, possibilities hovering. Sometimes it seemed to me a cruelty that so much was unresolved between us; at other times, a blessing that a hope of reunion lingered. It is like the anticipation that a clever minstrel evokes when he pauses, letting silence pool before sweeping into the final refrain of his song. Sometimes a gap can seem like a promise yet to be fulfilled.

I miss him often, but in the same way that I miss Nighteyes. I know that such a one will not come again. I count myself fortunate for what I had of them. I do not think I will ever Wit-bond again, or know such a deep friendship as I had with the Fool. As Burrich once observed to Patience, one horse cannot wear two saddles. I have Molly and she is enough for me, and more.

I am content.

T4T seemed weird and even kinda bigoted at first (like...why exclude people based on cis vs trans? seems sus?) but I'm starting to get it.

No one can understand (or accept) a trans person like another trans can. That cis sweetheart you've had a crush on forever may reveal themselves too late as not accepting, or just not willing to learn about trans-ness.

But honestly. I'm done with relationships 'til this butterfly comes out of his cocoon -_-

i share a wall with my younger brother and he will stay up until 1 or 2 am talking on the phone with his friends (on speaker mode) and no matter HOW MANY TIMES i tell him to be quiet he does not care!

i can literally hear his friends as well! he doesn't even turn down the volume!

#most nights i can't even try and go to bed until 1am because of him #it's fucking miserable #i wanted to be asleep an hour ago #but 1) he will not learn and just start out quiet #and 2) most of the time he doesn't even get quiet when i ask him to!#most of the times when i ask him to be quiet he'll say 'oh sorry'#i don't believe him #it pisses me off i'd rather him not apologize #because he ISNT sorry #if he was he would BE QUIET #im pretty sure i heard him start bitching to his friend about me after i told him too :)#probably one of the reasons im feeling so horrible all the time because i can't get any sleep :)#literally the only nights i can get decent sleep is when he's staying over at someone else's house #fucking hell
