can you write a squid game fic or head cannons of other characters finding out the reader is struggling with self harm? If so, thank you and I understand it is a sensitive topics and may be uncomfortable to write.
Squid Game season 2 characters x reader who struggles with sh
Featuring: Thanos / Player 230, Se-mi / Player 380, Cho Hyun-ju / Player 120, Nam-gyu / Player 124, Kang Dae-ho / Player 388, Park Min-su / Player 125, Kim Jun-hee / Player 222
(Trigger) Warnings: Mention/Talk about sh, depression, and things of this nature, this is comfort/angst, not proof read (english isn't my first language)
Summary: Basically what the ask says
A/N: hey! I hope this is what you imagined, sorry if some of these are ooc😞🙏
Thanos / Player 230
જ⁀➴ Before he really knew, he'd constantly make your life a living hell, basically making fun of your shyness. He'd make certain comments to which he knew you wouldn't react to or would try to persuade you to vote in favor of the game containing.
જ⁀➴ You'd constantly tell him off and to leave you alone. It didn't really help, though. Thanos would just sit down next to you and talk your ear off about what he wanted to do with that prize money.
જ⁀➴ When you stood up to leave, rollung your eyes at him, he grabbed you by your wrist.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" Thanos blurted out, giving you an offended glare. "You know, it's really rude to just leave a conversation like that." When you tried to get out of his grip, your sleeves rode up your arm, revealing scars you weren't proud of or wanted him to see. When you realized it, he did too, immediately letting go of you.
જ⁀➴ Since Thanos knew what it meant to struggle with mental health he did actually leave you alone for now. But, after the next game, he approached you again and sat down next to you. "I'm sorry about yesterday." he said, patting you on the back.
જ⁀➴ He related to you in a way, but didn't want to ask you about what went on in your private life. Now you just appreciated that he seemingly didn't overstep any boundaries anymore and even checked up from you every now and then.
Se-mi / Player 380
જ⁀➴ You and her had been a duo ever since she came up to you and complimented your looks. Even if you denied it or not, she'd repeat it multiple times, winning you over with her charm quickly.
જ⁀➴ You two had the same mindset on a lot of things, originally voting 'O', thinking you were able to survive one more lousy game. That game was a death scare. Nothing about it was funny anymore. You appreciated your life too much these days to die like this.
જ⁀➴ When the second favor didn't go your way, both Se-mi and you now voting 'X', you felt helpless. One night, the two of you were sitting on her bed, just talking about your past and how you got to this point in the first place. While Se-mi was more secluded, only telling you that 'there are so much worse things she had to face when she got out' you trusted her enough to tell her about a sensitive time in your life.
"I'm not really secretive about this anymore," you pushed your sleeves up, revealing faded scars along your forearm, "but yeah. It was all pretty fucked up. The whole debt thing didn't make it any better." Se-mi looked at you with raised eyebrows, her fingers tracing the lines on your wrists. "I knew you were strong. Don't worry, we'll get out of here."
જ⁀➴ She put in double the work to protect you — She just wanted you to start a better life with that money and be happy, free from debt and all of it.
Cho Hyun-ju / Player 120
જ⁀➴ Hyun-ju noticed from the start that you were more secluded, more prone to cry, panicked easily. It was clear to her that you were struggling with this situation, perhaps even more than that. She made it her task to help you as much as she could, comfort you and keep you close to her and her group.
જ⁀➴ You'd often rant to her and tell her what bothered you after she reassured her she'd take care of anything possible. Hyun-ju was the anker you needed in this shithole and you just appreciated her very much. Everything she did seemed to be out of genuine interest and not just to gain your trust and abuse it.
જ⁀➴ Accidentally, Hyun-ju did catch a glimpse of the scars you were so desperate to hide. She didn't mention it, feeling like it wasn't her place to comment on it. Her heart did break for you, though.
જ⁀➴ From then on, she made sure to speak softer to you and distract you from all the horror around you.
Hyun-ju hugged you tightly against her chest, her arms engulfing your figure. "Tonight things could get a bit scary," she mumbled into your hair while she rested her face against your head, "I just want you to know now rather than find out later. I'll keep you safe, you know that." You just nodded, reciprocating the hug after a few moments.
Nam-gyu / Player 124
જ⁀➴ When he found out, as you didn't make the effort to hide them or anything, he did refrain from provoking you in any way. Nam-gyu related, as he considered his drug use not to be the best thing he could do to his body.
જ⁀➴ Both of you hung around in the same group, since Thanos really wanted you on his team, constantly giving you compliments and flirting with you. It annoyed him to a degree, scoffing everytime Thanos tried to talk to him about how pretty you were, how much he wanted you, give you the world. In Nam-gyu's opinion, he didn't get you.. didn't get what you went through, at all.
જ⁀➴ One evening before lights out, the two of you were teasing each other about something and laughed together — something that rarely occured amongst the other players.
"Want me to show you something?" Nam-gyu asked you, leaning a bit closer. Chuckling, you replied with a 'mhm' and watched him pull up the sleeve of his jacket, revealing skin tracks along the inside of his elbow. You raised an eyebrow: "Oh?" You took his arm to get a closer look, tracing his skin with your fingertips. "Well, we all have our stories, huh?" The man nodded at your wrists, making you look at them too, like you didn't already know what he meant.
જ⁀➴ The both of you grew close to each other, much to his amuse. He was a junkie, you were depressed.. it's like a disaster in the making. But, you didn't care. He was sweet and weirdly kind to you — Not in the way Thanos was. You made sure to hug Nam-gyu a few times more after that, in case it could be the last timd you'd get to do that.
Kang Dae-ho / Player 388
જ⁀➴ You were glad to be on Gi-hun's team from the start, since Dae-ho and you got along really well. As a former Marine, which he was super proud of obviously, he declared he'd protect you immediately after you met, making you laugh.
જ⁀➴ He was kind, strong and funny, but maybe a bit oblivious at times.
During the six-legged pentathlon, you two sat next to each other, cheering the current active team on. Yelling and screaming filled the area as they crossed the finish lind just in time, making everyone erupt in cheers. Dae-ho immediately hugged you with joy, excited to see the five live another day, at least. After pulling back witha laugh, you gave him a small high five with your sleeve rolled back. When noticing scars along your wrist and forearm, the former marine gasped pretty loudly. "What?" you asked with genuine concerning, fearing something was wrong with you. "Oh, I'm so sorry," Dae-ho pulled your sleeve back over your arm. "Dude," he looked at you with wide eyes "it's fine." You needed to hold back a laugh.
જ⁀➴ Dae-ho felt so bad to havs accidentally seen something you've been struggling with, that he couldn't help but apologize profusely. You repeated to him that it wasn't a big deal for you and that you were working on this problem, but he didn't stop nonetheless.
જ⁀➴ You thought it was cute how much he seemed to care for you and how often he came up to you just to tell you that he appreciated you. And Dae-ho did, he didn't just say that to make you feel better.
Park Min-su / Player 125
જ⁀➴ Min-su is just shy over all. When he noticed it, he wouldn't say a thing. He'd be dead silent, maybe even a bit scared to talk to you. He was just scared he'd make it awkward, somehow hinting that he knew about your scars. Min-su was just someone who overthought a lot and even you noticed it.
જ⁀➴ After a bit, it annoyed you — The sudden lack of his presence next to you, the fact that he wouldn't properly talk to you anymore, it was all just weird and confusing. So, you decided to ask him directly.
"Did I do something wrong?" your voice wasn't stern, but Min-su could tell that you were kind of upset. "Ah, no-" he quickly replied back, shaking his head, "it's really not you!" He looked at you with his typical innocent face, making it hard for you to keep pressing him about this matter. "Then what is it, seriously?"
જ⁀➴ He explained what he saw and said that he just felt so sorry. Well, at least he didn't speak to you because he didn't want to hurt or upset you, which was really thoughtful.
જ⁀➴ You'd expect that he would now be the one to comfort you or something, but no it was the complete opposite. Min-su seemed to worried about you and kept asking you how you were feeling or if anything bothered you. You had to keep reassuring him that those times were in the past and that he didn't have to be so worried.
જ⁀➴ It was really cute though, so you let it slide.
Kim Jun-hee / Player 222 (implied fem!reader)
જ⁀➴ Since Jun-hee and you were pretty close in age, you two had found each other right away. You kept telling her that she needed more protection, or at least an ally like you, on her side sincs she was pregnant. You weren't really serious about that, just chuckling when bringing it up, but ut definitely made Jun-hee trust you a lot more. It was a critical situation she was in and she was glad to have you by her side.
જ⁀➴ You even banged on the door in the middle of the night to make the guards take her to the bathroom when she was to shy to do it herself.
As ths pink guard brought you to the womens bathroom, Jun-hee held onto you, clearly being in pain. A few minutes later, you were washing your hands and tried to fix yourself up, looking a bit disgusted in the mirror. "What is it?" Jun-hee emerged from one of the stalls, chuckling. "Man, I look like a damn zombie. Look what this place has done to us." Instead of getting a reply, you noticed that she was staring at your arms, at your scars. You had taken your jacket off for convenience and kind of forgot about them. "Oh, I'm sor-" Jun-hee interrupted you, "No! No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have stared like that!"
જ⁀➴ Obviously everyone had their struggles, but now her own kind of seemed insignificant next to yours. You were doing so much for her and she didn't even know that you were struggling. She should've thought of that.
જ⁀➴ When voicing that thought to you, you felt bad that you made her feel like that. With a hug, it was all sorted out. Jun-hee cared deeply for you and she could tell that you cared for her like that, too. It was nice to know that someone had your back in a place like this.

Very funny that tumblr is having discourse about whether my art is misinformation or not, after I've been posting it all over the internet for years without any controversy. So let's talk about it!
I know people arguing are a vocal minority, but I'm not going to dismiss anyone's concerns. It's an actually interesting topic that I really consider, and it touches some important issues in society. So here's my (rambly) two cents.
My art is meant to misdirect, in some way. Photomanipulation and the tone I typically use are meant to briefly confuse the person reading it into thinking they're hearing a real story, at least for a few seconds.
The Intended Experience™
In this sense, I feel like my art can be misinformation! And it's not only people who don't think critically about things like "how come I never heard about mermaids being real before?".
So, no disrespect to anyone that fell for one of my pieces! My work plays with reality, so if you fell for it for more than a minute, it just means my tone and style worked a little too well for you! And there are legitimate reasons to be confused when you see something online, too. For example, there are people who can have trouble telling real and fictional things apart. When you post something that goes out to a million people, you'll get one million different reactions.
That's why I always take care to make it really clear, outside the main piece and snippet of text, that my art is no more than fiction. There are tags, the tone of my account, even my profile picture is meant to reinforce this. I also have a website which, in part, is meant to capture the clicks of people to wonder if my stuff is real and google it, so they can find a real source that's clearly an art website. You can try googling "mycelium infection 1806" or "pupillosarcoma" to see how my website tends to appear first.
If I get this comment I know I've done something believable!
But let's say, for the sake of argument, that my art wholly constitutes misinformation. What we need to understand is that misinformation is not the same as disinformation. Misinformation is just incorrect information. It's your grandma seeing a little bit of a found footage movie on TV and thinking it really happened. She might be spooked, but nobody is harmed. Disinformation is false information that's purposefully crafted and spread in order to cause harm, division, or further a political view.
Now I ask you: what real world harm does my art create? The worst that can happen is that a tiny percentage of those that see it get a little scared thinking a weird bug is real, or that mushrooms really grow on faces, or that scientists have released millions of trilobites into the oceans. Is that really that bad?
Anyway, that's my take on the topic! I'm obviously biased, but this being my style, I do put a lot of thought into it and I'm always open to people's opinions! (Just don't scream at random people on the replies or you'll get blocked!)
#long post#rambly thoughts#hope it's easy to understand my meaning. please lmk if something is unclear in the replies!

Choi Subong “Thanos” - No winner.
Warning : drug and blood mention, talking about dying, stress
Genre : fluff / angst
Synopsis : You get anxious after the mingle game and Thanos tries to comfort you in his own way.
Reader : male (you/yours)
A/N : bold is in English. // I said (to y’all in my head) I wouldn’t write for squid game or Thanos but this fic came to me as I tried to sleep. Not as great as how I imagined it but it’s because I had to wait a day to write it. Don’t expect more fics for this fandom, this was an exception.
You knew Subong since you were kids, before you even got to school and even before his interest in rap. But despite this, you always had an on and off friendship over the years. Constantly arguing and separating only to come back to one another after some time.
His extravagant personality could often clash with your introverted one, and things got even more unstable between you two when he started his rap career and it got only worse with drugs.
He never asked you for money though, even after he lost everything, knowing you too had money troubles.
You didn’t expect to see him here, you knew he had lost all his money because of that YouTuber, but you didn’t think that man would’ve gone after your friend. You felt a bit relieved to see someone you knew, though the last time you saw him, you two had a fight. It was your fault. You said, a bit too tactless, that ‘it was stupid in the first place to listen to some random guy on the internet and trust him with all your money.’
He had only appeared for a few seconds on the giant screen, putting his vape in his mouth, before it showed someone else. You looked around you, trying to make yourself a path to find him amongst the hundreds of people in the room. You spotted his purple hair and called him, as he turned around and saw you, his eyes widened.
“My man !” He exclaimed, raising his hands in the air, walking toward you. “What are you doing here ?!” He asked, grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking you and then hugging you.
You weren’t really surprised, you’d often argue and leave mad only to see each other the next day and act as if nothing happened.
Since then, two days had passed, and by the third you were at your limit. The mingle game was over, Namgyu and some other player walked out of their room while you and Thanos walked out of yours.
“Welcome back, my friends.” Thanos said loudly, and Namgyu followed with a “Skrrt.” as he joined you two.
You sighed as you looked at all the blood splattered on the floor, you noticed a few players slipping on the puddles, making you sick to the stomach.
You all walked back to the lobby as they announced the imminence of the next vote.
While you waited, Thanos was sitting next to you, talking animatedly with Namgyu who acted just as energetic as him, you could tell the pills they had both taken were still doing their magic and the more you heard them talk about what the next games could be, the more you zoned out, spiraling.
There were three games left, and so many people were alive. Sure, a lot of them would die, but it won't be enough, right ? They surely won’t let a large group of people out of this place, so the games will probably be deadlier, and you know you won’t survive three more games.
You were the only one on the side of the room who had voted X, it was on your chest since the first vote. You looked at Minsu who eyed player 380, you knew he wanted to vote X like you, but he seemed too scared of Namgyu and Thanos to do so. Minsu seemed to look up to her, maybe he she voted X he would too ? But how could you make her vote X ?
So many people have voted O and all of them were dead set to keep on voting the same thing.
You felt even more trapped than you already were. Your heartbeat was increasing as you frantically tried to find a way out of here, to win, to escape somehow, looking around at whoever. Would he vote X ? And her ? And them ? No, maybe him ?
Namgyu saw you looking everywhere and gestured to Thanos who placed a hand on the back of your neck, stopping your thoughts.
“What’s going on my brother ?” He asked loudly, voice devoid of any stress or worry.
All eyes slowly turned to you. You looked at Thanos, the blue O on his chest. He never got mad at you for voting X, knowing you wouldn’t change your mind, you were as stubborn as him.
‘We’re all gonna die’. You wanted to say, but nothing came out. Instead your breathing got louder as everyone’s focus remained on you. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. You’re never gonna get out of here alive.
“Bro ?” Thanos called, his other hand going to your cheeks, squeezing them in hope for a reaction. “You there ?” He leaned closer, his eyes scanning yours but instead of giving him a reaction you just stood up and left, walking and climbing to your bed before hiding under the thin blanket.
Thanos looked at the others, they were as surprised as him but said nothing, they had already caught on what was going on.
“The fuck ?”
After a few minutes you heard someone approaching, climbing on your bed and laying next to you. You already knew who it was ; Thanos.
“What’s wrong, man ?” He asked, shaking you slightly. “Sleeping your anxiety away ? You’re still doing that ?” He laughed, remembering the time you admitted why you took so many naps.
You don’t respond.
“Come on, what’s going on ?" He nudged you again and with the lack of response he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you closer just to annoy you, he knew you wanted space, but he wasn’t going to give it to you.
“What’s bothering you ?” He held you tightly as you shifted, trying to pull away.
Finally, you gave up and poked your head out from the sheet, looking at him with a glare.
“Subong, we’re gonna die.”
He raised an eyebrow.
“Woah, full government name.” He chuckled.
“It’s not, and I’m serious. It’s logical, so many people are still here, 001 kicked your ass in a second and he’s still alive with his group, with two marines, we can’t all survive, why would they allow that, only a handful if not just one is gonna survive and it’s not gonna be-”
“I’ll protect you. Don’t worry.” He said with a smile, confident in himself as he patted your head.
“You really think you can win.”
“It’s the rules, if we survive, we’re free. And debt free.”
“What if the rules say we have to make teams of two ?”
“I’ll help you win. I went with you in the mingle game, remember ?”
“But then we have to play against one another and the loser of the two dies.”
He stared at you before smiling and replying.
“Well, I guess you die.” He wiggled his eyebrows and booped your nose with his finger.
You rolled your eyes, unamused and turned away.
“I told you, I’ll protect you.” He added, snuggling closer to you. “We’ll survive, you’ll see.” He closed his eyes, relaxing with a smile.
“Can you let go of me ?”
“No.”
You rolled your eyes, moving your foot to kick him, only for him to kick you back.
“Shhh, accept the affection of the great legend Thanos.”
“Yucks.” You replied with a chuckle.

VEE'S NOTES: Hi guys! Finally back to posting fics! This year I don't only want to write more, but also establish some kind of writing routine because I've been dealing with anxiety over Christmas for some personal problems family related and found out that I missed distressing with writing. Also, thank you so much for all the support you've been showing me lately! Appreciate it a lot since I wasn't feeling very comfortable with my writing. Let me know your thoughts on this one <3 ↳ MAKE YOUR REQUESTS | LET'S TALK! | JANUARY UPDATE CALENDAR
© VETTELSVEE (2025). please, do not steal, copy or translate my works. thanks for reading!
Despite being quite far from the pit lane, you could hear nothing but the deafening roar of the engines, the clatter of tools on Kimi's car, and the curses of the race engineers at the constant stunts Seb had decided to pull during the free practice session.
Your husband's red car seemed not just to race but to fly around the track. FP2 had started barely twenty minutes ago, but Seb had already come within inches of crashing into the walls far too many times after going off track more often than you could count.
You couldn't deny that you had loved watching Seb race ever since you met and you learned he was a driver in one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Today, however, luck was not on your side, and anxiety was consuming you. The nausea, uncontrollable on its own, felt even worse than usual. Not to mention, you felt on the verge of a panic attack.
"Are you okay?"
You turned at the sound of Riccardo Adami’s voice, Seb’s race engineer. The Italian removed one side of his headset and covered the microphone to ensure the driver wouldn’t hear anything.
"Yes, yes, of course," you replied hastily, forcing a smile and suppressing the urge to gag as you felt it rising in your throat. "I’m just a bit more nervous than usual today, that’s all."
"Seb knows what he’s doing. Don’t worry about that."
You nodded, but as soon as Adami turned his attention back to his screen, you rolled your eyes and did the same.
"You know, sometimes he thinks that he’s a cat and has seven lives," you muttered under your breath. "Someone should remind him he’s in an actual Formula 1 car, not in a simulator."
"Don’t worry, I’ll remind him in the post-session briefing," the engineer joked, flashing a smile before immersing himself back into Vettel's driving.
You didn’t pay him much attention. Once again, you were entirely engrossed in both your husband’s onboard camera and the telemetry, even though you didn’t understand much aside from the fact that he was setting purple sectors, which was undoubtedly a good sign.
You didn’t know much about the inner workings of the cars, but after so many years with Seb, you knew that the faster his times were, the higher the risks became.
You were also acutely aware that your husband was pushing himself too hard in those moments.
You began to tremble slightly, fidgeting with your hands in an attempt to calm your anxiety, but it didn’t work. Instinctively, and trying not to draw much attention, you placed your hands on your belly and prayed that your child wouldn’t give you any scares like his father was giving you.
"Sector two in purple as well, Seb!"
Even though the garage erupted into cheers and applause, you remained motionless. Instead, you couldn’t take your eyes off the screen, which now showed your husband’s car in full view.
Your panic peaked the moment Seb lost control of the rear of his car and went off the track. You swore that if it hadn’t been for the sudden braking, he would have ended up in the barriers with a wrecked car and himself heading to the medical center because the crash would have likely exceeded the G-force limits.
When Seb didn’t respond immediately, your heart stopped.
"I’m fine, I’m fine..." Seb finally said in a disappointed tone. "But I can’t say the same for the car. I think it’s more damaged than it looks."
"Can you bring it back, Sebastian?" Riccardo asked in a tone that was a mix of irritation and disappointment.
"Yeah, no problem. Coming back. Sorry, guys."
Just as no one on the team said anything to you, you, who had forced yourself to sit down because your legs were trembling too much and you felt dizzy, also remained silent until your husband returned and got out of the car.
Seb removed his helmet, revealing an expression that was hard to decipher. You stood up carefully and approached him, trying to keep your composure. Without giving him a chance to say anything, you grabbed his hand and led him toward his driver room, ignoring Britta's protests to talk after interviews were done.
"It could have been worse, right?"
Sebastian closed the door behind him and turned to face you. You stood there with your arms crossed, visibly upset. Your glare alone was enough to tell Seb he was seconds away from one of your infamous scoldings.
The problem? He had no idea why. You had never acted so strangely over something as common as a collision during a race weekend.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” you exploded, your voice filled with frustration. “Fuck, Seb, can you explain what that was all about?!”
“What do you mean, what was that? I was... racing, like I always do, babe,” he replied cautiously, still clueless about what he'd done wrong.
You, however, didn’t know what was bothering you more: your husband’s calm demeanor or the sight of a few Ferrari team members peeking through the window to catch the drama unfolding between the two of you.
“You were so close to slamming into a wall, Sebastian, that’s what happened!” you shot back, yanking the curtains shut and flipping off the nosy onlookers. “Are you out of your mind or what?!”
“Come on, love, I had it under control. What you saw on the onboard might’ve looked bad, but I swear it wasn’t as dangerous as it seemed.”
“Not as bad as it seemed? Are you seriously telling me that?” you retorted, your voice trembling with anger. “Do you think driving is just like playing a video game now? Do you have any idea what it would’ve meant if you hadn’t reacted in time? Do you know what it would’ve meant for me and for—”
You stopped yourself mid-sentence, refusing to continue.
You knew your emotions were running wild because of your pregnancy hormones, but you forced yourself to calm down. Getting so worked up would only lead to a pointless argument with Seb and wasn’t good for you or the baby.
“For who, Y/N?” Seb asked, stepping closer and gently taking your hands in his.
“For... me! Who else?” you replied quickly.
Sebastian didn’t know how to respond. He’d never seen you so distressed about his racing, and while he tried to stay calm, inside he was battling a storm of worry and confusion.
“This stress isn’t good for me or for the situation you and, well... you’ve gotten me into,” you said, your voice cracking.
“Y/N, babe, I swear I have no idea what you’re talking about. Fuck, I’m pretty worried about you right now with all this shit, but if you don’t tell me what’s going on—”
“Damn it, Seb! I’m pregnant!”
You looked down, tears streaming down your face. You clenched your fists tightly, furious at yourself for revealing such big news in such an emotional, unplanned way.
Sebastian, meanwhile, stood frozen, his eyes wide in shock at the unexpected news. Slowly, everything started to make sense: your morning sickness, falling asleep all the time, constantly complaining about being tired, and the flimsy excuses you gave for not drinking wine, something you normally loved.
He cursed himself for not realizing it sooner and for believing your weak justifications about bad leftovers being the cause of everything.
“You’re... pregnant?” His voice was barely audible, almost afraid to say the words out loud because they didn’t feel real.
You wiped your tears and sniffled, doing your best to meet your husband’s gaze without feeling ashamed.
“Yes...” you said timidly. “I wanted to tell you in a special way... you know, by giving you a baby onesie in a box with the positive pregnancy test inside, but...” You shook your head and finally looked him in the eyes. “I thought you were going to die out there today and leave your child and me alone. The thought of losing you, now of all times, just...”
“You’re really pregnant? We’re going to have a baby?”
You nodded, and Seb couldn’t hold back his tears. He pulled you into a tight embrace and began kissing you tenderly. You melted into his arms, feeling an immense weight lifted from your shoulders.
“I didn’t know how to tell you,” you admitted. “I swear I wanted it to be special, but seeing you out there today, thinking something could happen to you...” Your voice broke again. “I was terrified, Seb, like never before watching you race.”
“I’m so sorry, love. I really am,” he said sincerely, cupping your cheeks gently and kissing you over and over. “If I’d known, I would’ve been more careful. God, love, this is incredible... This is the best news I’ve ever received.”
“You’re not mad that I didn’t tell you sooner? You should’ve seen your face earlier...”
“Mad? That you didn’t tell me sooner?” You shrugged, your insecurity showing despite your years together. Seb tilted his head, understanding this was one of your rare but extreme moments of doubt. “I’m just... in shock. I can’t believe we’re going to be parents...”
Sebastian hesitantly touched your stomach, and you burst into fresh tears at the tenderness of his gesture.
“Now you have to promise me something, Seb,” you said, playing with his hair as he knelt before you, leaving kisses on your belly.
“Anything for you and our little one.”
“You need to be more careful from now on. Stop thinking so much with your adrenaline and testosterone, and start using your brain more,” you said, trying not to sound too harsh. “I know Formula 1 and racing is your whole life, but I don’t want you risking it when we’re bringing a new one into the world. I’m eight weeks along, and we still have 32 to go assuming everything follows the perfect pregnancy script.”
Seb stood and gazed at you, trying to convey the calm you both could only find in each other.
“Love, I promise,” he whispered softly. “For you, for the baby... I love winning, but today, and even more so when our child is born, I’ll have won the second most important race of my life.”
You frowned, confused.
“If that’s the second, what’s the most important race of your life then?”
He chuckled and scooped you into his arms, kissing you again as he laid you both on the couch behind you.
“The race I ran for so many years to win your heart,” he murmured between slow, deliberate kisses that said more than words ever could. “After all those years trying to get you to go out with me in high school, and now we’re eight months away from having a baby... what else could it be, mama?”

Pairing: Eris Vanserra x Archeron!reader Summary: Since you became High Fae there were only two things that scared you: your deadly power and your attraction toward the male you should hate most after Tamlin, Eris Vanserra. Warnings: Eris thinking important stuff, Eris being Eris, probably grammar mistakes and my english. A/n: I’M SO SORRY FOR THE WAITING. I had a writer’s block and i didn’t want to write anything that would disappoint you. I hope you’re gonna like this, let me know if you want to be added at the taglist🫶🏻 Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4
As soon as you all arrived at the River House the mood lightened up. It was time to truly celebrate the Winter Solstice, and Feyre's birthday.
You were all in the sitting room, and when you said all you meant all. Even Nesta and Lucien were there, throught you thought that the presence of the latter was not entirely because his fondness to the Inner Circle.
You took a moment to look around you and letting the sight sink. They were all happy, everyone was talking about something and everyone had a smile on their faces. It was refreshing being in such a familiar occasion, but somehow you couldn't help but feel a bit of melancholy.
Feyre had found a beautiful family. Not perfect, because no one was perfect, but she had found people who loved her and would do anything for her. They would do anything for each other, and even if being Feyre's sister made you part of the group you knew you would never be more than that: Feyre's sister.
You had no special bond with anyone. Only Rhysand and Mor had taken interest in developing a relationship with you, but as you watched them talk with Cassian and Azriel you knew that you could never compare with that. The Winter Solstice was the night for wishes, and you deeply wished to find a family like that one day.
When the time of gifts arrived you were excited. When your family had fallen into poverty there was no money for gifts, so you had spent your birthdays and the holydays as normal days.
You had found out that you loved making gifts. It had something magical the whole searching the right things for everyone and find it. The one yuo were proudest was an enchated satchel for Nesta, where she could put every book she wanted and bring it with her weightless.
You had received gifts from almost everyone. but it was when Mor handed you a box wrapped with expensive, sparkling red silk that your heart skipped a beat. "I think someone is quiet fascinated by you after only few dances." said Mor smugly and she read from who it was from.
You tried to steady your hands and you took the gift and read the little note that was attached to it.
"A reminder that flames are the apotheosis of beauty if shaped by the right person. Happy Solstice, Eris."
You slowly unwrapped the delicate silk and opened the box. Your eyes widened as you caught what was inside. Everyone's attention was on you as you took the glass case that was inside the box and hold it in your hand in front of your face.
You felt everyone's breath stopping as you stared at the beautiful rose made of fire that burned inside the glass.
The glass was warm, and the fire was perfectly shaped as a rose, forever burning on its own. Something inside you flickered, something gold, soft that a moment before was not there. You didn't know what to say as every word disappeared from your mind. It was breathtaking. The beauty of it could not be compared to anything else you had ever seen.
"At least he has good taste for gifts." Mor commented crossing her arms.
You put the glass case on the table in front of you and quickly looked away from it, giving a Mor a tight smile. "What? Having second thoughts?" you said ironically to her, needing to change subject.
She snorted. "Hardly."
"Let's just appreaciate the kind gesture." Rhysand said with an amused smile. "Thanks to you we have his alliance back, let's celebrate that."
It didn't go unnotice to you your sister's tight expression. From the way she looked at Rhysand and the smile he gave her you were sure they were having a mental conversation, about what you didn't know.
The night passed smoothly, there had been no other awkward gifts thankfully. At some point your eyes threatened to close on their own so you excused yourself and went into your room.
You put the rose on the vanity in your room, and for a moment stared at it like it could explode. If Eris wanted to mess with your head then he was doing a great job.
You scoffed, fuck you Eris.
You swear you heard his low laugh deep inside you.
***
When a letter in red paper came for you with only a place and a time written on it you stormed into Rhysand's office, guilt eating you alive. You opened the door without so much as knocking, and told him everything.
You told him how Eris saved you during the war, how you had cured him because yes your power didn't go away but "my sisters lied too so you can't be angry at me". You showed him your hands and arms. You told him that Eris knew about your power but never said anything or threated you, and in the end you told him about the bargain you made.
"You were letting yourself burning from the inside out because you were scared to hurt someone?" Rhysand's voice was not in any way angry, actually he seemed more concerned.
You shrugged, your eyes fell on the ground feeling his heavy gaze on you. "You were all so happy after the war. My sisters still needed me and I didn't want to ruin anyone's happiness with this problem. I would have figured out something, eventually."
Rhysand stared at you silently, a mischievious spark in his violet eyes. "And you thought that making a bargain with Eris was the solution?"
His question wasn't accusatory. It sounded like Rhysand was curious about your maddness, and honestly you were too. There was no right answer to make it sound reasonable, so you gave him part of the truth.
"When he chose me to dance the responsability to keep him as an ally had fallen on me, and unfortunately I couldn't seduce him like Nesta would have done." You shrugged. "Cassian was right, Eris seems to enjoy to annoy me. When he proposed to train me I took it as my chance to keep him close to the Night Court and keep him close as an ally."
"And are you comfortable with this...arrangement?" Rhysand asked you carefully.
You noticed how his reaction had been completely different from what you had expected. You thought that he would look at you like the stupid girl you felt, almost pitying you for talking about Eris like he was not a monster. Instead, Rhysand had just listened, nodded and gave you an encouraging smile.
"Yeah, I'll need one of you to winnow me where we'll meet, but I would prefer if you tell no one but Feyre and Azriel." You said and saw in Rhysand's eyes that he understood the double meaning of your words:
"I don't want Mor to find out, for now."
"It can be easily arranged, but since you'll start to spend time on your own around Prythian I must ask you to start training with Cassian and Azriel whenever you can." he said kindly sitting on the chair behind his desk.
You tilted your head with a grin. "Are you asking as my High Lord or as a worried friend?"
"What about as a brother?" he matched your grin. "An overbearing one, as Feyre calls me."
You chuckled. "I'll start training with them tomorrow."
***
"Your brooding silence is louder than Nesta and Cassian during Winter Solstice." You snorted watching with almost disgust all the flowers around you. The border between the Spring's court and the Summer's court was a explosion of yellow, pink, orange and purple. All colours that made your eyes almost hurt.
You felt Azriel's death glare on your back as you pointly avoided his eyes. "I still have to understand why Rhys think letting you be alone with him is a good idea."
"Because Rhysand would be a hypocrite to deny me of this lovely bargain." An amused, deep voice said behind you making your toes curling in your shoes.
You turned around and saw Azriel watching Eris like he was imaginaing stabbing him, and somehow you knew you were right. "I'll stay with you." said the shadowsinger as if Eris' presence just reminded him how a bad idea that was.
"Tempting, but I'm not usually one who like to share." Said Eris with a cocky grin before looking at you. "Unless the lady wants to."
You narrowed your eyes at him, crossing your arms. It was annoying how most of the times you didn't know if Eris was flirting with you or trying to rile you up.
"Go Az." You looked at the shadowsinger with a kind smile. "I'll be fine."
"I'll be back in few hours." Azriel said to you before winnowing away, giving Eris one last warning look.
You watched for a few seconds the place where Azriel had been standing and took a deep breath. "Over the centuries I forgot how dramatic he could be."
You snapped your eyes on Eris, making a good effort to not notice how his green outfit made his eyes look of an impossible shade of emerald.
"He just doesn't trust you." you said ironically. "I wonder why."
Eris gave you a feline grin before offering you his arm. "There is a lake near by, shall we?"
You studied his arm with wary eyes. Inside you there were two sides that were fighting each other. The first one wanted to give him the chance that no one ever did, to trust him and gain his trust back, to get to know the Eris that if you tried hard you could see under his mask; the other part was yelling at you to not be stupid, that if the Inner Circle didn't trust him after five centuries there were very good reasons, and the worst part was that you knew most of them, and still it wasn't enough to make you feel even a hint of disgust.
So you had to pretend.
"Let's just get started." you hoped that your cold mask was at least half good as his as you walked past him toward the lake, ignoring his low chuckle.
***
From your sister's story of her training you had expected everything but this.
Eris had made you sat right in front of the lake with your leg crossed, your back straight and your eyes closed while he did the same beside you and gave you instruction with his voice.
He had told you to focus on your breathing while you had to map the environment around you just with your hearing. Was it even possible?
Spoiler: no.
Everytime you heard a sound your mind would wander around with random thoughts that become a deep dive inside your head. The birds over you reminded you of the days that your father used to bring you around the forest close to your old estate. Who knew who lived there now? Maybe the humans had chosen to let it fall to ruin after what happened to them. Maybe they would think it was cursed.
That's it. You had forgotten to calm your breathing. Again.
"Awknowledge the thoughts that came into your mind and let them go." Eris' voice vibrated right inside you making you shift slightly on your place.
"I thought you were going to teach me how to control my power, not how to control my breathing." You scoffed.
"Who said anything about training your power in the bargain?" He said almost bored.
Your eyes snapped open and you looked at him incredulous. He was smirking. That bastard was smirking and you wanted nothing more than to slap that grin away from his face.
"If you do not train me I could easily lose control and burn everything around us to ashes." You said slowly, angry that he thought he could trick you. "And you with it."
Eris opened his eyes, his grin only grew wider as he looked at you. "Oh, but that would be quite the sight." You clenched your jaw as your skin started to pinch with heat. He gave you an amused look before closing his eyes again and taking a deep breath. "Relax, Little Flame. We need to make you burst out that mass of power that you had been foolishly sealed inside you, but I won't make you do it until I know it's not completely safe for you."
"And completely safe for this place." You added while you fought the blush that was growing on your cheeks at the thought that Eris had just said that he wanted you safe.
You saw him shrugging, his eyes remained shut. "Helion wouldn't mind a little renovation." You scoffed rolling your eyes. How could he be so calm? You had expected to learn how to control your fire, and instead you were struggling to control even your breathing. "Believe it or not, but I'm trying to help you. Close your eyes."
His firm tone made you ashamedly tightening your thighs. You bit the inside of your cheek to prevent you from doing something stupid, like talk back and made him use that tone again.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm the heat that was starting to grow at the pit of your stomach, which you were sure wasn't due your flames.
"You were born human, but no one taught you how to be a High Fae when the cauldron Made you. Your body is stronger, faster. Your sight, hearing, and nose are sharper." Eris' explanation hit something very precise inside you. It was true, no one had ever stopped to explain to you how to use those new abilities. And it was fine, you had never really asked, knowing that as the older sister you should have to figure it out on your own. "We are at the border between Summer and Spring, with only your nose you should be able to tell where the border exactly is, but lets start easy. Use all your senses but the sight."
His calm and warm voice made it sound simple, and you believed him. It wasn't a even-a-child-can-do-it type of simple, it was more like a your-body-can-naturally-do-that type of simple.
You spent another hour like that, and by the end of it you were smiling broadly. You had successfully used all your new senses, and you were mesmerized by Eris' patience. Not once he had rushed you or had seemed to be tired.
"You're smiling." your head snapped toward him and you couldn't help the look of surprise that grew on your face. "You've never smiled like that when I was around."
You watched him with a hint of michievous in your eyes. As soon as you had successfully told him where the border was he had instructed you to stand in front of the lake and try to smell the animals around you. "You've never been silent around me before."
Eris laughed. The redhead in front of you, the Heir of Autumn, the General of the Autumn Court's army actually laughed and didn't incinerated you for your words.
It was an awful lie what you had said. His voice was probably the most beautiful sound you had ever heard, and you wondered if he laughed because he knew that deep down.
Cauldron, I hope not.
"Tell me if you sense some creatures in the lake." Eris smirked crossing his arms over his chest. "I'll gift you with more silence in the meantime."
You playfully rolled your eyes and took a step closer to the lake.
Deep breath.
Empty mind.
Eyes closed.
You felt the bird above you, the deers at your left, deep in the Summer's forest and even the rabbits beyond the Spring's border. But nothing came from the lake in front of you. Confused you opened your eyes and tried to catch some glimps of fishes or other creatures.
"Nothing." You said tilting your head a bit confused. "I don't think there is something in this lake."
"Good." Eris grinned michievously. "Then put your hands in the water and let your fire out."
You felt your eyebrows hitting your hairline as you widened your eyes and looked at him incredulous. "I am absolutely not."
"You absolutely are." he quickly remarked.
"What if there are fishes in there? I cannot kill them." You gestured to the pool of water in front of you, trying to understand what he intented.
"You said there is nothing in there." He shrugged becoming serious. "You need to start trusting your senses. There might still be days where you need to let your power out and you'll need to scan the area quickly to make sure no one is around."
His words carried something too personal for you to let them go. Was he speaking for personal experience? You wanted to talk back, you wanted to ask him if there were creatures in the lake, but something inside you stirred.
Eris might be the only one who could understand you, who knew what you were going through. He was the oldest son of Beron, you wondered what kind of pressures he had to live with. You wondered if he too had to learn how to use his fire beside a lake to not hurt anyone.
You slowly crounched on your feet and even slower took your gloves away. The burned flesh on your hands were red with remains of the green sticky cream that Madja had given you. The cold water send shivers of pure relief through all your body.
"You want me to light a fire under water..." You said skeptical looking at Eris over your shoulder.
"Darling, I'm positive your power could light a fire at the bottom of the ocean, if wield properly." You looked away from his lazy grin as your stomach twisted at his new nickname.
Water or not water you had to understand now how to call the fire at you. For weeks the flames had been burning all your body no-stop, you just needed to focus them in your hands.
"I do not suppose to know you, but I might guess that your power usually answer to your anger." he was standing behind you like you hadn't a burning fire inside you ready to explode, like you weren't a danger for him. "Focus that sweet mind of yours toward what anger you most."
You.
The answer was quick in your mind.
Eris Vanserra had the ability to make you angry with just a look, and there were so many reasons that you couldn't focus on just one. It made you angry when he used his mocking tone with you. It made you angry when he used a gentle tone with you. It made you angry when he looked at you like you were the only person in the room, and it made you angry when he avoided your gaze in a room full of people.
It made you angry knowing what he did to Mor. It made you angry that there were times when you didn't care. It made you angry that you thought that the male in front of you could never do shuch thing. It had made you angry that he had saved you. But you were even angrier when he hadn't seek you out after the battle.
Eris Vanserra made you angry because he didn't make you angry at all. He made you feel frustrated, amused, annoyed, flustered and seen, and you were angry because you shouldn't feel those things. Not with him.
You felt it then. You felt hot flames rising from your skin and you imagined that the water in front of you were your feelings, and they needed to burn. So, they burnt.
Bright, red fire appeared underwater around your hands and the water in front of you started to boil. You let it all out. Every flame you had pushed down in those months was now left free.
It felt so good to finally let it go. The flames were circling all your arms, from your shoulders down your elbows and to your hands. You had missed the warmt that came from inside your body, the ethernal sensation that no cold could ever touch your skin, never again.
***
Eris had never known an enchanting sight as the one he had in front of him now. Your flames were all around you while from the lake it was rising a cloud of steam that soon enough would catch someone's attention.
He felt your rage through the bond and everything you had kept inside. The steam of power that you were letting out was huge, destructive, beautiful.
He watched silently as your fire stopped and you let yourself fall back, sitting on the burned grass and staring the water with emotionless eyes. He dared to tuck softly the bond, trying to understand what you were feeling, then you laughed, and something gold flickered inside him at that sound.
It was a laugh that could make him burn courts to the ground for the chance to hear it again. It was the laugh that at some point he had dreamed while Under the Montain. It was the laugh of hope that no matter if people like Amarantha, Beron or the King of Hybern ruled merciless, there were still people with enough strenght to laugh.
"I've never felt so free in a long time." you almost whispered to yourself. You stared at your hands and Eris let out a sigh of relief as he saw that the skin was completely healed.
He saw as you took a deep breath and closed your eyes tilting your head back toward the sky, and Eris felt the need to make you stop looking so fucking perfect while he had no right to enjoy this view.
He cleared his throat bringing his hands behind his back. "Can I dare to ask what or who you were thinking? I wouldn't want to find myself in the middle of the two of you."
You gave him a indecipherable look. "Cassian's habit to steal my breakfast."
Eris didn't hold the scoff that escaped his lips. It was clearly a lie, but he understood that. He was no one for you, there was no reason for you to trust him with your thoughts, so he didn't push, even if his stomach twisted in a payinful knot.
He smelled a light scent far behind him, and he knew that was time for you to return back at home. "We should go back before the shadowsinger cut my throat."
He turned around, needing to stop that moment before he started to believe things that couldn't be true. Not yet.
"Wait." your voice stopped him and he curiously turned around to look at you as you stood up and brushed of the grass from your dress. You walked closer to him with a steady look that made him equally unsteady. "It's time for my part of the bargain. My question."
He rose slightly his eyebrows, surprised by your sudden determination. "Go ahead."
He saw as you tried to organize your thoughts, crossing your arms as to make you more secure of yourself. "Is this side of yours part of the mask?"
Eris tilted his head, a bit confused by your question. "This side?" What were you seeing in him? What did he let slip?
"Yes, this side." You gestured with your hands at his whole person. "You, helping me and not being a total arrogant. You always make sure to make the others doubt your intentions, to doubt you. While...while the one I have in front of me is not the same male I heard the others talk about."
Eris stood there for a moment, looking into your eyes. He heard steps behind him approach, steps of someone who usually doesn't want to be heard. He slowly reached out a hand, and tuck some hair behind your ear and he smirked as he heard your breath caucht in your throat.
"Maybe I'm just manipulating you." He whispered, knowing he had few more seconds to play with you. If he couldn't have you for himself, he at least could have those reactions from you. "Maybe I want you to think I'm the good guy to use you against your precious Inner Circle. It would be quite the revenge."
"You are not moved out of revenge." Your response left him speechless for a moment. "If you wanted revenge then half of Prythian would be death."
"I could convince you to kill them for me." he stated back. He had let his hand lingering behind your ear, and now he let it slowly trace down the curve of your neck.
You breath had become clearly shorter, he could feel your heart beating through your chest, but your face betrayed nothing. He could see something flicker in your eyes, the only thing you couldn't control, but the look you were giving him was caution.
It was a game now, seeing how far he needed to go to convince you he was indeed the bad guy. Not to you. Never to you. But to everyone else. He wasn't above killing to gain what he wanted. He had lied, killed, manipulated and swore false oath to ensure the security of his people, but for you? He would kill with his bare hands an entire court to give you a throne, and it terried him.
"I told you, I won't kill for you." your voice snapped him back from his mind. You grabbed his wrist with your hand, fingers still hot with fire, and shoved it away from your neck. "You didn’t-“
“It’s time to go.” A voice cold as death stopped you in mid sentence.
Eris didn’t acknowledge the shadowsinger behind him, keeping his eyes on you. “But we were having so much fun.”
“Step away from her.” Your eyes snapped on Azriel and something twisted inside Eris as he watched you smiling at the shadowsinger and walking toward him.
Will he ever be the one receiving that smile? Will you ever walk toward him that happily?
He watched as you took Azriel’s arm and the shadows started to grow around you, ready to winnow away.
“Little flame.” Eris called after you. Your eyes found his over the wall of shadows that was forming around you. It was time for the answer, he guessed. “No, it’s not.”
Your eyes widened, and it was a pity, seriously, that he couldn’t see the rest of your face before you disappeared, because he knew it would be hilarious.

ever since you had gotten with chasca, nothing been the same.
you found there are many things you used to be able to do just fine, such as sleeping, for example, that are almost impossible to do without her.
you also found yourself gazing at her with nothing but infatuation in your eyes; goodness, you really were a lost cause.
she knew it, too. she felt honored in some way, honored that somebody like you would choose someone like her. it admittedly keeps her up at night and she feels nothing but gratitude whenever she looks at you, which makes your heart do somersaults and jumping jacks, it seems.
you'll never stop admiring her, and it only got stronger when she said yes to your love confession, and it got even stronger when she said yes to your marriage proposal. you believe the world would stop spinning if chasca ever died, or was taken away from you; that simply cannot happen, because the only thing that matters in your world is her.
it almost seems the way you love citlali is boarderline obsessive.
but a little secret? she feels the same way. her world revolves around you and making sure you always stay impressed and happy with her. her biggest fear, though she'll never say it, is you leaving.
you two go to extreme ends for one another. it's always her or nothing to you- if you, let's just say, can't accompany her somewhere and would have to go with somebody else, you'd simply rather not go at all. but, yet again, she's the same way.
if one of you leaves, both of your lives are over, you think. not like you'd ever try to leave her. she means far too much to you to even think about that thought.
and on her side? she thinks she'd rather be dead than not by your side as your partner, your romantic lover. it makes her feel good and gives her a sense of closure that she can feel human like this, too. the day you stop loving her will be the day you stop breathing, and maybe even after, she hopes. you belong together in every lifetime.
he caught on to your outlook as soon as you both got together, and it almost scares him.
he loves you, very much, but at the same time, he's not sure if this is what he really wants. he feels nothing more than a mere puppet, and he almost lets you treat him like one; not that you ever would, though.
and the first time you told him just a couple words, it changed his whole outlook on what your relationship meant to him.
"never leave, please. i'm not sure i could go on without you."
and after that sentence was said, the amount of love he holds for you practically doubled, but there's no way you'd ever even be able to tell. he masks it all so well, but he never pushes way your advances to hold his hand or cuddle him to sleep.
you've learned to get used to his attitude, and you're unsure if your earth would keep spinning if he ever disappeared out of your life. he wouldn't even dream of leaving, but you feel too dependent on him to even have that thought.
she doesn't feel the same as you do, but you mean so much to her either way.
in a way, she really enjoys how clingy you could get and how verbal you are with how much you love her. you make sure to remind her of that everyday to make sure she's still satisfied and still loves you the same you love her.
and goodness, does doing something as simple as even taking a walk feel wrong without her by your side. if she's not around, it feels... strange. like her absence isn't a long term lifestyle you could live with.
you truly wonder how you did it before you met her. you couldn't imagine having to fall asleep without her clinging to your arm, or slow dancing with anyone else besides her. simply, life before her isn't something you know anymore.
and you silently pray every night to all of the archons that it's a lifestyle you'll never have to relearn, because you feel you simply cannot. she's part of your day everyday, and when she's not, it's a bad day in your books.
you guys share feelings, but he's much more possessive with it than you are.
you simply just cannot imagine a world where ayato isn't in it and need to make sure he knows it, while he cannot fathom you not being around and makes sure he knows what you're doing whenever you're doing something, for example.
you show this through clinginess and admiration that you verbalize. words of i love you being said almost every moment you spend with him, and he loves it. he loves being loved.
he feels he cannot focus on work as well as he used to be able to. you feel you cannot focus on house chores and your own work like you used to. he's always on your mind, and you're always on his. him leaving would be as if the world snapped into two, you think.
and so you simply try not to think about that and simply live in the moment with him by your side. goodness, you are so in love, and he's no better.

What Happened Last Night? - Part 1
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Reader
Summary: After burning the Book of the Damned and escaping the Styne’s, you all have a night of harmless celebrations back at the bunker. At least, it was harmless until Charlie suggested a game of Never Have I Ever, and the rest of your night became a blur. Friends to Lovers 18+ only
Word Count: 3,300
Warnings: Language, Dubious Consent (implied drunk sex), SMUT in part two
Or read it on AO3 here
A/N: Hey 👋 This is my first time posting a fanfic on Tumblr. The names’s Beth (Aussie/Dean-girl/tired mum). I’ve been on AO3 (and Wattpad) for over a year now and thought it was about time I put my big girl pants on and join the community here because it looks fun (though the social media side of this scares my close-to-midlife-crisis-ass). So, yeah, newbie in terms of everything here - please be kind. If you recognise me from the other sites, please say hi 😊 This is a cross post - there are two chapters total. Let’s see how this goes!
in vino, veritas
in wine, there is truth
Five bodies sat around the mess room table that night, drinking their troubles away and eating their fill.
You, Dean, Sam, Charlie, and Cas at the end, sitting on a wooden chair he’d brought in from the library to make more space for those of you who did eat.
"This won't work," you said to the other four, though it was technically directed at Charlie. Your tone was as condescending as you could make it under the influence of the alcohol you’d already consumed.
Three beers and two sneaky sips of Charlie’s Harvey Wallbanger you’d taken while she wasn’t looking.
It was one less ounce of bounce in her step for your at-the-time more than tipsy gal pal and well deserved. Especially now she’d revealed her true intentions on why she’d encouraged you to partake in drinking in the first place.
In her overly enthusiastic state, she’d suggested a game to get “The Party Started.” A phrase she’d attempted to sing in vain as only you seemed to understand its reference.
Though Sam might have had a clue. His mouth had turned up around the lip of his bottle he’d conveniently sipped during the rendition of the Black Eyed Pea's early noughties banger.
Dean was one hundred per cent clueless, of course. Nothing past the eighties was decent to him. Nothing except that one Taylor Swift song you’d caught him listening to when he thought no one was watching.
He had sulked then and had been sulking on and off again since last night. Brooding over the fact he’d lost his one chance to remove the mark. Unbeknownst that Sam had not burnt the Book of the Damned like he, Charlie and Cas thought, but in a better mood thanks to the booze and pizza he’d brought home.
You knew better.
Both about his demeanour and what had really happened with the ancient text.
You’d seen Sam swap it with a replacement and you’d promised him you’d keep your mouth shut. Something you were hating your past self for.
Past you was a fucking idiot.
A fucking idiot who was about to get drunk from a game of Never Have I Ever like Charlie had suggested, and at risk of spilling more than one can of beans if you didn’t think of something fast to stop it.
Charlie, the conniving little… She knew way too much about you after the last time you’d had a few with her and the glint in her eyes that you’d seen when she suggested the damn game was enough for you to know that what she was planning was dangerous.
A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts. Or something like that.
And she was almost there.
“What do you mean, it won’t work?” she said with far too loud a pitch that made even Cas uncomfortable.
Well, more uncomfortable than normal.
“Umm. The angel, for starters.” You directed your gaze at Cas, realising too late that you were going to give him a complex. “I think most of our everyday human experiences are going to be a never for him. And whatever he did in heaven will be the same for us. It’s unbalanced.”
“You’re thinking too much. He’ll get drunk. We’ll get drunk. That’s the point of the game,” Charlie said.
But her grin left her when a gruff, “I won’t,” interjected itself into the conversation.
Hah. Won’t. It was as if you’d sucked the happiness out of Charlie and taken it all for yourself to then rub it back in her face. “See. Cas doesn’t want to play. And Sam and Dean clearly don’t want to play either.” They'd said nothing against the suggestion and nothing against you now.
“Actually, you don’t have enough liquor here to get me drunk,” Cas added.
Don’t have enough… “Seriously?” You looked at him again and he nodded. An apologetic look on his face.
Which brought a ‘challenge accepted’ one into Charlie’s.
Looking around the room for support from the guys, you noticed Sam hiding a silent chuckle behind the bottle in his hand.
While Dean, who had been quiet since Charlie had burst out in song, locked eyes with yours. “Well, if there aren’t any more arguments from you, sweetheart, let’s play.”
And you thought Cas’ claim that there wasn’t enough booze for him was a surprise.
Fuck. Your head was pounding.
Your mouth was drier than a desert with a chalky sensation in your throat and lips that felt like they had cracked.
Yup. Cracked alright. They stung as you splayed your tongue over them, attempting to nourish the skin with what little wetness you had left in your mouth. A fat lot of good that did, though.
They weren’t the only part of your body feeling uncomfortable. Pins and needles from where you’d slept funny on your arm tingled from your funny bone to your wrist.
‘Ow. Fuck.’ Well, that hurt.
You were hung without a doubt, and just all over feeling seedy.
At least you’d slept some of the alcohol off and were no longer drunk. You thought.
The strands of hair that had made their way into your mouth and the saliva you strung along with it as you pulled it out would say otherwise. Urgh. Gross.
Had you been drooling? No wonder your throat was dry.
You groaned and forced your eyes open. Yes, you had. There was a wet patch on the white pillowcase below you.
Odd. You didn’t own white sheets.
You’d decorated your room in the bunker with as much colour as you could. What with the hunting life full of black, brown, denim and blood, you didn’t need any of that spreading into your personal space.
Of course, white was colour(ish), but again, you didn’t own white sheets, and your room didn’t have a solid wall where you were facing. Curiouser and curiouser. Your door was supposed to be right there.
You were at the correct end of the bed for it. A headboard behind you and a pillow underneath you, meaning you were lying on the right side. Yet all you saw was more bricks, a tall boy in some kind of brown and clothes that weren’t yours scattered on the surrounding floor.
Amongst them, a pair of jeans - okay, they might be yours. But the flannel? One plaid with various browns and greens. The very same Dean had been wearing last night?
Fuck.
Dean’s clothes. Dean’s room.
This was Dean’s room?
This was Dean’s room.
Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck.
What were you doing here? The last thing you remember was… Fuck.
Those lips. Dean’s lips, plump and whiskey-tainted, had peppered kisses on you in more than one place. Over your mouth, your cheek and your neck. Lower...
You’d learnt the spot at the base of your ear above your lower jaw was quite sensitive. Dean had learnt that, too. He’d also learnt a few other things if your tainted memory served you correctly, and you, the same about him.
The way his muscles contracted around his chest and back. Every little ridge, taut and firm, continued even down his arm and into his hands. Those talented fingers had a way of placing pressure in just the right places to make you blush. They’d found their way under your shirt and bra and…
Oh… Oh…
Had you slept with him and not remembered the main event? Was that possible with Dean? Your friend. The guy you’d wanted to be more than for the longest of time.
You've fallen for him the day you’d met. With that charming smile and those dazzling green eyes.
And that was before you’d gotten to know him.
Now you knew the man behind the shit-eating grin. The playful, sometimes scary nerd (who refused to admit it) was loyal to those he cared about. A self-righteous martyr, who could be a bit of a dick sometimes and followed it too when the time was appropriate.
Not that he’d done it so much lately.
Except, maybe now.
You were screwed and without asking him, there weren’t too many ways to check if indeed you had been by him.
You turned your head slowly to find an empty bed next to you.
Thank fuck. There was plenty of time to ask, but his bed was not the place.
You stretched your legs out, noting they felt normal. Stiff if anything, but not in a way you’d expect if you’d partaken in good sex.
Of course, that meant nothing. Maybe the rumours you’d heard about Dean were untrue?
Yeah right.
You’d seen the satisfied faces from all of his past hook-ups as they fled his motel room the next morning. Possibly one in every state. He had brought none of them to the bunker though, meaning you were the first to sleep in his room. In his bed.
Go you... That was something to be proud of, not.
You’d hightailed it out of his room after all that. Slinking off down the hall to your own to get changed out of the clothes you’d been wearing the night before. You hadn’t been wearing them when you’d woken up, of course. Oh, no. You’d been wearing one of his henleys, braless underneath, and your underwear surprisingly still on.
While you’d think that would be a comfort for you, you knew that meant nothing. Though everything felt normal down there, so maybe it did.
You weren’t sticky when you had a shower, but you noticed the love bites above your breasts when you looked in the bathroom mirror after it. There were bruises on your hips too. Ones shaped like fingerprints that fingers had pressed into you on either side.
Hmm.
There was only one way to find out what had happened and once you’d primed and prepped yourself, wearing clothes that covered you from your neck to your toes, you made your way to the same room where everything had gone down the night before.
Stupid Charlie and her stupid fucking game.
“Hey, Charlie,” you greeted when she saw you enter. Her eyebrows raised, along with her grin. “Where’s everyone else?”
In other words - Where’s Dean?
Only Charlie sat at the table. The rest of the room was clear. There were no more pizza boxes, no more alcohol bottles and no one in the kitchenette. Not even someone’s head in the fridge.
Just Charlie, with the smell of bacon and freshly ground coffee lingering in the air around her.
Coffee. You needed some of that.
“Sam’s got his head in the books again. Can you believe he was up before eight?”
Actually, you could and you hummed in response as you took your fresh cup of steaming goodness up to your lips to sip.
“I think Cas has left the building. We may have gotten him drunker than we thought.” She smirked. “And I figured you knew where Dean was.”
Your mouth spluttered over the rim of your cup. Coffee now dripped down your shirt and a few of the drops had landed on the floor.
You flicked your eyes to your friend as you placed the cup on the table opposite her. Towels. You needed towels.
“Don’t give me that look. I saw you two after I left. And I checked on you this morning when I first got up. You weren’t in your room,” she said.
There was a knowing look on her face as you made your way between the pantry and back again that you ignored. Stooping down low to wipe the spill you’d made on the tiled floor below, only joining her once you’d discarded the paper towel in the bin along with your dignity.
Your hands went straight back to your cup, sipping on the rim and avoiding Charlie’s prying eyes.
“Come on. Let me live vicariously. What happened between you two?”
“I don’t know,” you whispered.
“You don’t know? I set this all up for you and him and you don’t know?”
“Ssshhh.” Your shoulders slouched, and you reached across the table to grab her arm. “I don’t remember, okay? I woke up in his bed but…”
“Did you two?” She made a crude gesture with her hands.
“I. Don’t. Know.” Your eyes were open wide as you enunciated every syllable to get your point across.
“How do you not know?” Charlie blinked a couple of times.
Drawing in a long breath, your mouth agape and ready to sigh it all out, you looked back at your friend and trembled your head in a quick shake. “I remember fooling around a bit but I don’t remember much more than that.”
“So you just woke up in his bed and don’t know how you got there?” she asked.
“I mean, I know how I got in his room, I remember that much, I think, but I don’t remember lying down or, you know.” The look you gave her was enough. You didn’t need to elaborate and even if you had wanted to, a heavy thud of boots echoed through the corridor outside.
Sure, it was possibly Sam, but that distinct gap between steps could only have been made by one bow-legged Winchester. And when Charlie’s face lit up opposite you and you heard the sound abruptly stop from somewhere near the door, you knew it to be true.
“Morning Dean,” she said. The chirpiness in her voice made you want to slap her silly but as you only had access to the hand that still held yours in the moment, you dug your fingernails into the skin below them instead. “Ow. You want some breakfast? There’s bacon still in the pan.”
Dean grunted and you felt eyes boring into the back of your head.
You refused to look behind you to where you knew he was pouring his own coffee by the sounds of it and released Charlie’s hand to pick up your cup. You took slow sips, keeping both your mouth and the rest of your body occupied while your elbows rested on the table, defending yourself from Charlie and her quips.
“How did you sleep?” she asked this time. Her eyes flicked between you both.
Could she be any more obvious?
“Fine,” he grumbled. “You got any more questions, or are you gonna leave us in peace to sort our own shit out?”
Fuck.
You looked over at Charlie with a pleading look that said ‘Please don’t go.’ My how things had changed. But she grinned back at you and wagged her eyes, before standing and leaving the room in haste. Damn traitor.
As her footsteps trailed off down the hall, the room grew uncomfortably silent. Making your sips the loudest thing to have ever existed in the world.
Your coffee was more bitter than it had been and you needed sugar pronto if you ever wanted to finish it.
You brought your cup down and placed it on the table before you to let your fingers fidget over the thin porcelain. Paying attention to each sharp angle between the curves and painted decorations. More so than was ever necessary.
Your eyes fixated on it, even as Dean took Charlie’s place across from you, watching you with caution. “So,” he cleared his throat. “How’d you sleep?”
Seriously? Taking Charlie’s line was how he wanted to start this. Well alrighty then. “Um. Fine, I guess. You?” You braved a glance at him, noting he was more serious in his disposition than usual.
“Like a log,” he said before silence filled the room again.
Right. You weren’t sure what you should say next. There was that big question on your mind, but you wanted, no, needed to approach it carefully. You didn’t want him to know you didn’t remember what if anything had happened between you.
Not for his ego, but for yours.
You took another glance at him and saw his tongue run along the inside of his cheek, making it stick out under the five o’clock shadow he was yet to get rid of. He always looked his best like that.
“I uh, I was surprised you weren’t there when I came back to my room just now.”
Wait. He was? “You were?”
“Yeah.” There was a defensive twang in his tone. It was subtle, but it was there. “I only went to take a shower and then I found you’d bolted… I thought…” He shook his head.
He thought. Thought what?
You looked him up and down. It wasn’t just his tone that was unusual. The way he held his shoulders and the way he gripped his coffee cup before him was odd. In anyone else, you’d say they were lacking in confidence, but Dean wasn’t like this.
The last time you’d seen him in such a way was after he’d killed Randy and the thugs in Pontiac and had come home dishevelled and broken over what he’d done.
“What did you think?” you asked, stretching your arm out to brush his hand across the table. Hoping that by doing so it might relieve whatever tension he was feeling.
There was a warmth there, that spread under your fingertips as your skin touched his and brought flashbacks to your mind of you touching other places on his body.
You’d seen him with his shirt off last night. Been up close and personal with his tattoo and the scars that adorned his chest. You’d felt the dip in his spine and the pressure of his waistband pressing into your thumbs when you’d hooked them under the denim that sat around his waist.
Had you gotten into those jeans last night?
“Last night,” he said, watching your hand with interest. “After what we talked about.”
What we talked about? You’d stayed up well into the night with him. Long after Sam and Charlie had gone to bed and Cas had disappeared to do whatever Cas does. But just like your memories of what took place in his room were drawing blank, so too were whatever words you’d exchanged with him.
All you could see were the grins and smirks he threw your way, and you nodded your head to stall. It didn’t do you any favours.
He was looking at you with a scrutinising gaze and just as your cheeks had burned when he found that spot under your ear, they did the exact same to you now and gave everything away. “You. You don’t remember? Do you?”
You bit your lip and shook your head. “I ah. I’m drawing blanks. Some of it, I remember, but I couldn’t tell you what we talked about after the others left. And…” You hesitated.
“What?” His eyes locked onto yours and while they made you nervous, you couldn’t pull away.
“Dean. Did we…”
He seemed almost disappointed. But rather than wait for you to finish your question, or answer it even though it was as obvious as Charlie had been, he stood up, scraping the chair along the floor as he did so to storm off.
‘What the fuck just happened?’
You had drunk a lot and been drunk because of it. You’d spent time with Dean alone after the others had gone to bed and had talked with him about something.
Something that led you to his room and into his bed.
There’d been action. Kisses and touches. A bit of groping and clothes being removed. Small flashes of that continued to form in your mind. But while marks had been left on your skin and you’d stayed the night in his bed, you couldn’t remember the physical act of him being inside of you. Or you giving him a happy ending either for that matter.
And now, he was disappointed.
Could it be that he felt the same way you did?

Selkie Fabian with selkie Hallariel au you see the vision
Bill accidentally stole Hallariels pelt while he was pillaging in Fallinel and Hallariel fucking hunted him down
Bill fell in love the second she took his eye out but Hallariel only married him because he promised her a life of freedom and adventure on the sea something she’d never had before and she fell in love with him along the way
Telemaine was extremely protective of his daughter because he knew that like a half elf half selkie wouldn’t be very well received in Fallinel so she always hid her selkie-ness up until she left and stopped giving a shit about what Kei Lumennura thought
Part of why she left was because Telemaine refused to let her near the sea (he insisted that her mother learned to live without the sea to keep herself safe so she could too) but he finally caved after Bill stole her pelt because “I’m in danger either way at least I’m not miserable at sea”
She planned on only marrying Bill for a few years before going back home until she actually fell in love and then got pregnant
Fabian was allowed a lot more freedom than Hallariel had growing up but he was still told a bunch of horror stories about selkies getting their pelts stolen so he is very protective of his pelt
Like so protective that the Bad Kids didn’t even find out until like halfway through sophomore year (he only told them because Riz jokingly tried it on when they were all hanging out and Fabian snatched it away in a panic)
The main reason they have as big of a pool as they do is because Hallariel insisted on having someplace her and Fabian could shift
Fabian still misses the ocean terribly and travels down there on weekends he can get away
When Kalvaxus set their houses on fire he had to stop himself from running to check his room and find his pelt because his parents were in danger
When he got home after prom Cathilda immediately handed his pelt to him because she knew he’d be panicking about it
Cathilda knows about Fabian being a selkie (of course she does she practically raised him) but he didn’t realize she knew until he was about 12 (he thought he was being sneaky) so it became sort of a game for her to see how much she could tease him about it before he realized she knew
She insists on washing his pelt because he insists on storing it with the rest of his clothes and she doesn’t want it to get dirty (she always framed it as something similar to giving his selkie form a shower) but she has a rigorous washing process that she insists on doing every time despite it taking like an hour each time
The first week after she gets sober Hallariel takes Fabian down to the beach and gets in the ocean for the first time since she had him
Before Fabian she always insisted she would not become some trophy piece lying around Bill Seacasters house like most of the selkies she’d heard about who married pirates (and the she had Fabian and then…yeah)
Fabian and Mazey have a tendency to borrow each others clothes and it’s all great fun until Mazey takes his pelt without realizing thinking it’s just a regular coat (he is scared to death of telling anyone he’s romantically involved with that he’s a selkie cause, y’know, horror stories) and he has a genuine panic attack when he can’t find it
About an hour after this happens Riz (who Fabian had asked to find the pelt) shows up at Mazey’s doorstep demanding the pelt back and Mazey is just so confused
Fabian finally tells her like a week later and she feels just so bad
Hallariel doesn’t fully trust the Bad Kids until she learns they know Fabian is a selkie
Gorgug starts joining Fabian on his late night oceanside trips after they all find out (he says it’s because it’s not safe for Fabian to be out there alone but it’s really because he just wants to hang out with his friend)
So so many beach trips with the party over summer after junior year (would’ve been sophomore but yknow night yor-*I am shot in the head by Riz Gukgak killing me instantly*)
Kristen challenges Fabian to an underwater breath holding contest and like just to freak them out he just kinda stays under for like 5 minutes
He can stay underwater for a while when he has his pelt but when he got possessed on Leviathan sophomore year he had to leave it behind and when he doesn’t have it he’s kinda shit at holding his breath naturally (he never trained it because he assumed he wouldn’t have to deal with being in the water without his pelt a lot but he started training it after that)
He has control over how much he shifts when he’s in the water with his pelt so unless it’s been like a while and he’s craving the ocean he’ll usually go for just like patches of seal fur along his body and occasionally he’ll let his feet turn partially tail-like if he feels like swimming a lot
The Bad Kids think his patchy form is just so adorable (he would be fully human around them since he’s still not fully comfortable with it but the halfway form is kind of the lowest he’s able to dial it when he has his pelt in the water)
Jawbone finds out partway through junior year (Adaine makes an off handed remark about Fabian’s pelt and he was just very confused) and once he finds out he immediately starts researching the shit out of selkies
He finds out that there’s a support group at Aguefort for selkie students and he gives Fabian the information
Fabian very reluctantly goes and actually enjoys it a lot (it’s less like a support group like it says and just kinda like a place for selkie students to hang out and bond with other selkies) so he keeps going weekly
They were all very skeptical of him when he first showed up (I mean the most popular kid in school who is also the son of a world renowned pirate showing up to a selkie hangout when nobody knows he’s a selkie feels like a red flag) but he brought his pelt with him just in case to make sure they knew he wasn’t an enemy
At first he has a bunch of people giving him pity because they assume Bill basically abducted his mom but he shuts that shit down quick (“if my papa tried to abduct my mama she would’ve taken out his other eye and slit his throat”)
They are all so jealous of the fact that he actually lived on the sea for most of his life (they have a monthly trip to the beach because most of them aren’t able to go out that much and a good majority of the people in Elmville have lived there all their lives or most of their lives)
Ok yeah that’s it for now I just got selkie Fabian in my head and couldn’t get it out

“once we’re done here, i’ll wash it and it’ll be as good as new,” he promises, knowing how much sentimental value the dress has. fingertips absently stroking her hair, not even trying to brush it anymore, just trying to make her feel good and help her relax. “i haven’t, by the way. gone through your songbook, i mean.” in case she’s wondering. she gave him permission to do so last night, but it seemed too personal, too invasive. “thank you, lucy gray.” it’s been a while since someone complimented his heart. people often admire what’s on the outside — his blue eyes and dark curls, his nose or cheekbones. she’s one of a very few who seem to care more about what’s underneath. “it means the world to me. i won’t let you down, i swear it.” scooping up a handful of water, he carefully pours it over her back to ensure she stays warm. “so are you, little bird. you’re very smart, too. way smarter than me.” she wouldn’t be here with him if she wasn’t highly intelligent. she wouldn’t have escaped coriolanus. which is still such a strange thought… “oh, yeah?” thankful for the distraction, he lets out another laugh. “never noticed you were also bird-sized and i was horse-sized,” he counters, getting to see her sense of humor for the first time and letting it bewitch him. he adores this side of her, but it has him wondering if this is the girl that she used to be — full of sassy remarks and giggles and sweetness. maybe she’ll be that girl again one day.
“i see…” billy hums, nodding his head even if she can’t really see him. he quickly picks up on what she’s implying, putting two and two together. the stories that she told him last night… “you don’t think my brother was born with a good heart, is that what you’re sayin’?” as children, they were like daylight and dark. polar opposites. but can he call that little boy evil? sure, they’d had their differences, but he wasn’t bad to the bone. he didn’t chase stray cats around the neighborhood or rip the wings off flies. “i’m not sure if i agree. maybe the capitol and our grandmother did that to him.” or maybe he was born with evil already inside him and it just came to light later in life. who knows? “i’m not defendin’ him, just thinkin’ out loud,” he says quickly when lucy gray’s head snaps around, looking at him with something that he can’t quite name or understand. it has him wondering if he’s said something wrong. a small, uncertain smile remains plastered to his visage, his own heart picking up pace. “did i —” say something wrong? but before he can get the words out, she’s speaking up again and he’s falling silent. gesturing for her to carry on.
“you planted a snake to scare him away and slow him down?” dark brows lifting, impressed and wary in equal measure. what if she still thinks he’s coriolanus? will he wake up with a snake under his pillow one morning? and lucy gray nowhere to be found? the idea has his heart missing a beat, chest constricting. but if she wanted to run, she would have done that while he was out by the creek. “i didn’t know ‘bout that. i’m sorry. i didn’t mean to bring back any bad memories with that story.” features softening, understanding her reaction better now. amusement fills his eyes, and he can’t help but think it’s such a badass move, setting a snake trap. “oh, i bet he thought it was venomous. what does he know ‘bout snakes? nothin’. i think that was a smart move. risky but smart. and it served its purpose, right?” it’s scary to think that his own twin brother was trying to hunt her down, shot at her, but then he thinks about their father, the kind of person he was… and it’s not so surprising anymore. “you think he would have hurt you anyway? if you came back to him instead of runnin’ away and plantin’ that snake?” is his brother truly as ruthless and heartless as their father? his heart aches for lucy gray, but for coriolanus, too. it must be awful, living that way, filled with hatred. “mhm, yeah. it’s just a silly story, but the moral is very accurate, i think. if you go through life with hatred festering in your heart, you’ll never be happy. but if you learn how to forgive and focus on healing from the bad experiences, you’ll be alright.” as if reading her thoughts, he adds, “he won’t ever find you, lucy gray. reva blue and i won’t allow it. we will always protect you. i will protect you.”
"it does look like feathers." maybe that's how her mama decided to design it, thinking so as the songstress sweetly smiles. "thank you, that means so much to me." that he likes the way she sings. lucy gray laughs at first before shaking her head to correct him, "because you and horses have good hearts and brave ones." she just had to be careful praising someone's heart before really knowing it first, just like the moment of phrasing you seem like a good man, coriolanus snow. she scolds herself constantly for being so naive. "they're smart and you're smart." knowing how to survive like this. "and you are a lot taller than me way down here, so that could be another thing..." her turn to tease.
perking up in interest, brows raising as she sits with his fingers in her hair. finding what he's saying really fascinating when it sounds familiar to something she'd say. "i used to think they were made, too. sometimes i have my doubts." if coriolanus was right, people like him really were born that way. "but maybe now there's proof, they're either born or made." with him being the twin to coriolanus. then he tells this next story and a strange flash of fear strikes through her. that was a coincidence, right?
shifting slightly to glance at his face, making sure he once again wasn't somehow coriolanus– not going to drown her in this water while she's not looking after telling her this story, mind backtracking all the way back to her first theory of his mind being twisted by dr. gaul. until she realizes there's no way he knows all that stuff about district thirteen, that this type of kindness can be faked and she's back to reality. she really has to stop doing that... when she realizes even her heart's picked up speed beneath her chest.
"well, snake's and me are very familiar with one another." forcing herself to chill out, a wry laugh quietly emitting from her. "and there's a lot of irony in that..." she points out, an odd smile gracing her face, "when i placed a snake out, i set it as a trap. to stall time for myself. it bit coriolanus and i knew it wasn't venomous, then that's what really set him off to go shooting at me." wasn't like he wasn't going to do that anyway, probably. but that's what's so crazy about the similarities with billy's story. "the one who went back to the village. that's the one who lived a happy life?" she answers, while feeling scared that's how coriolanus probably feels towards her... hating her guts, obsessing over hating her guts each day, ready and waiting for the second chance at killing her for revenge. "i agree... i could have definitely turned rotten by now, yet i've not. and the same for you..." as long as he's telling the truth about it all.

i wanted to rant about simon.
what do you think so far like what are your actual headcanons for the canon simon vs this simon from this series?
my feelings about the actual simon is quite vague. i've read far more fanfictions than bothering with the actual material so my picture of his is not really...constant? idk
but with this simon, he scares me. just to think about people that can engage in such romantic and sensual acts with little to no feeling involved.
or the mc's father. her dad makes me feel such an anger and injustice that i don't know how to express it and i know we probably won't get a satisfying update on him.
you don't like your wife fine i could understand the distance between them, but how can somebody forget their child no matter if they share the same blood or not, after all the time he raised her
leaving all that behind just to start a whole new life. how can that not eat somebody alive
OHH this is actually a good question. honestly for me, simon is probably one of the hardest character to write about because he doesn't give away too much. too calm. too know-it-all.
we're just gonna talk about the romance aspects!
but based on my head-canon of the canon simon, he has those younger years where he avoids romance, but not this actively and aggressively. it's more because he has too much on his plate (anger management issues, PTSD, depression) than because he think he's not good enough for some happiness (but he also doesn't expect/hope for it.)
canon younger (probably 6-7 years after he killed Roba) Simon lives his life without the need for things to turn out in certain ways. as he gets older (yes, the 2022/2023 ghost) and better mentally, he's become a little more open to the idea, though.
he's still not actively seeking romance, settling on one-nightstands and things that don't require any strings attached. however, he's not completely closed off to the idea too. if he has someone he likes AND TRUST (this is already a high wall to get over), he might act on it. but again, not really actively pursuing it and knows he doesn't need it.
and this might come as a surprise, but he's actually the biggest flirt out there—well, at least when it's only the two of you. when in front of his taskforce, he goes back to acting like he's the calm, collected, cool, stoic, scary lieutenant that everyone knows. can't have you ruin his reputation, right?
"it's private but not secret," with him. though it's not loud PDA, sometimes he lets his hands linger in places like your waist, your hips, shoulders. his love language is act of service, gift giving, physical touch—he makes sure to always appreciate you with compliments and love affirmations, but he's never really a man who's big on words.
WHILE THIS SIMON, hmmm.. he's a bit more complicated. and a mess. at some point, you can think of him as the younger version of canon simon we just talked about to simplify it, but even that's not really accurate considering the different ways they handle "all that sappy stuff" (as simon would say). this one actively and AGGRESIVELY avoids romance.
and while they both (my ver. of canon simon and this simon) sort to flings and one-nightstands, the canon simon is more careful and actually follows the boundaries he draws himself. while this simon outlines the boundaries, follows his rules until an interesting bird enters his orbit, violates them, and destroys them himself before he goes around saying "you read that wrong, darling."
NOW, ABOUT THE FATHER. . .
RIGHT! in my opinion, it's better for them to get a divorce actually and Dad still plays a role in MC's life rather than just leaving her. like, i know it'll still hurt the MC but, at least she can still have both of her parents even though in different houses! at least she doesn't have to feel neglected in her childhood.
okay, you hate someone you thought you would love forever, but abandoning your child? whose very existence was created because of you? talk about the Dad will come up in the sequel. hell, he'll even make an appearance with his two ballet loving new daughters. imagine how MC will feel.
sadly, this happens a lot in real life. fathers leaving and starting a new life without thinking about his "old" family. how people shame single mothers but never the absent fathers. people shame many women who have "daddy issues" or call them "fatherless" yet never call out men's incapability of being a real, PRESENT father.

It’s 9 AM where I am now and I have work at 10 (no car). I’m pretty certain I have some type of chest cold/phenomena, but I’m not 100% sure. And I’m on my period.
Can you info dump about all of the little COD ideas you have in your head so I can read about it on my break or when I get off? If that makes sense? It doesn’t have to be full stories, just the Autism Thoughts.
Damn, and to think I just had dinner. To be fair it was an early dinner but it was homemade spaghetti and it was fucking banging. Don't die of illness and such, also if you've cursed me I swear to God because whenever anyone tells me about their period I end up synced with them and that's happened seven separate times. It's like fucked up Bluetooth. And to the one person who reads this and thinks I'm oversharing, what are you gonna do about it?
Ghost has, and will again smack Soap across the back of the head for referring to food as "orgasmic" in public.
Nikolai has a penchant for hazelnut Happy Hippos. He has sworn John to secrecy but God forbid that man smoke a joint and get near a box of those fuckers.
Alejandro and Rudy once got into an argument because Rudy admitted that out of all of Alejandro's nieces and nephews, Rudy has a favourite. The argument only ended because after Rudy named his favourite, Alejandro realised that it was his favourite niece too.
Once while drunk, a baby gay let Kate hit her vape in a bar and Kate considers it the lowest she's ever gotten while drinking, this is nowhere near true. She threw up in a man's mouth when he tried to kiss her while she was drunk in her early twenties, she does not regret it. Nor should she.
On more than one occasion, Farah has woken up to find Alex's face smashed against her shoulder with him drooling on her shirt. She'll never say a word because it's endearing, it's adorable and if she told him he'd never sleep next to her again.
Speaking of, Alex is a wrestling guy. He's always liked The Undertaker bit, especially the entrance music but he doesn't like the man behind the costume. Follows Stone Cold on an Instagram account that he has mainly for watching reals, he likes photos of Stone Cold with his chickens or his cats. Loved the Punkintyre feud, and sided with Punk because he's a good ol American boy but Drew McIntyre awakens something deeply bisexual inside of him. Likes watching Cena and Bautista in any movies they're in, loved them back in the day. Fucking loves Toni Storm's transatlantic, old-timey actress bit.
Valeria is a reader, likes a good murder mystery with a glass of wine and some takeout. Will sit down to read a chapter or two and finish the book. She has a shelf full of her favourites, she'll read them online first but the ones she loves, she buys a copy of. The only non-murder mystery books she owns a physical copy of are the Jurassic Park novels but she bought ones with sophisticated covers so no one would be able to tell unless they open up to the inside page.
He isn't scared of them but Simon is deeply mistrusting of swans. He refuses to explain why to anyone, he just calls them cunts and moves on with his life.
John's go-to move when Nikolai is irritated with him is to drop to his knees and unzip Nik's zipper with his teeth. The Russian goes for it every time even when he knows it's just John's way of playing with him.

it'll only hurt for a second
୨୧ jinx x transmasc!reader
୨୧ summary: jinx helps you do your testosterone shot
୨୧ word count: 1.4k
୨୧ tw: needles, injections, medical stuff
୭ ୨♡୧ ৎ
Ever since you came out as transgender, Jinx had been nothing but supportive. She had seen the signs ever since she’d known you and had secretly suspected that you felt this way. You never seemed to fit in with feminine terms or as being described as a woman. Over the past few years, she had started referring to you with gender neutral terms and pronouns as this seemed to calm your discomfort. She figured that if you were struggling with your gender, and wanted her to know, that you would tell her when you were ready. That day came and went, and she never saw you any differently for it. You would always belong to her, and that’s all that really mattered to the blue-haired girl.
One day, you met with Jinx in her base. She was tinkering at her desk, working on a blueprint for a new gun that she had wanted to construct. You came in with a satchel thrown over your shoulder. Taking notice of the music being blasted, you smiled to yourself. That’s my girl. You sauntered over to her, trying to call out over the music.
“Jinx! Baby!”
No response could be heard as she kept hard at work, leaning onto the desk to get a better look at whatever it was that she was drawing. You sighed, shaking your head before tapping her on the shoulder.
“Oh, shoots!” She called out, startled, almost falling off of her chair. She turned the stereo off before turning around to see you. She laughed in relief, pulling a loose strand of hair back. “You scared me, space boy.” A blush covered her face as she looked you up and down. You were wearing a more masculine outfit than the ones you had been wearing up until now.
“Sorry, babe. I tried calling out over the music. You always have it so loud. Do you ever think about your hearing when you put it that high?” you asked in a soft tone, genuinely caring about your girlfriend’s health.
Jinx stuttered for once, not taking in the question that you had just asked her. “I- um, no… not really, but wow, you look… good. Handsome. You look handsome.” She gestured with her pointer finger to your outfit and stature, followed by a clearing of her throat.
You cracked a smile, looking down at your feet. You let out a small, “thanks,” before pressing a kiss to her cheek. “Anyway, I wanted to talk with you about something.”
Jinx’s eyebrows raised at your comment. “What’s up, buttercup?” Her tone returned to its normal cheery state as she fell back onto her desk chair. “Hit me with it.”
“Well, I… I don’t know how you’ll feel about this, but…” you stuttered as you opened up the satchel that hung by your hip bone. “I picked up this medication. I got it from someone that has connections over at the Piltover apothecary. If I pay him then he gets it for me, but I wanted to talk with you about it before I did my first dose.”
Jinx’s eyes narrowed. “Okay…” She bit the inside of her cheek as she sat up from her chair to look inside the bag.
The satchel contained needles as well as vials and alcohol wipes. It also had a small container that held syringes. She picked up a vial that had a see-through liquid within it, shaking it gently to watch as the liquid moved side to side.
“So… what is it exactly?”
“Well, you take shimmer, right? It makes you feel stronger, more confident, and it gives you energy. This… It’s supposed to do that for me. Except, it’ll make me look more masculine. I’ll look more like a man than I do now.”
Jinx inspected it further, holding the vial between her painted fingernails. “It’ll make you look more masculine?”
“Yeah! I might get facial hair, gain more muscle, and my voice would definitely get deeper.”
She smiled at your response. “So, correct me if I’m wrong, but… it’ll make you look more like you.”
“Yeah.” The corners of your lips upturned.
“I’m surprised something like this even exists, but then again, I heard there are some topsiders that are trying to create magic, so who knows at this point,” she said, rolling her eyes at the thought of the Pilties. “You want me to inject it for you?”
Your eyes lit up at Jinx’s question. “I mean, if you- yeah, if you’re comfortable. You don’t have to, of course, I wouldn’t wanna-”
“I’ll do it,” she said confidently, cutting you off with a smirk. Jinx motioned for you to hand the satchel over, which you did so obediently.
Jinx took the supplies out of the bag, assembling them all together as you instructed her to. She knelt down on the floor in front of you and had you lift up your shirt for her. Biting her bottom lip in a deep focus, she wiped a part of your stomach with an alcohol swab before pinching the skin in between her fingers.
“You ready, Mr?” Jinx asked in a playful tone to distract you from the situation. You always had had a fear of needles. The idea of them in general absolutely terrified you. That’s why she was so surprised at first that you were willing to do this.
You nodded nervously, holding your eyes closed as you braced for the pain.
“Don’t worry, it’ll only hurt for a second,” she said before sticking you with the needle, “See, it’s already in. You’re doing great, toots. In fact, you’re doing better than Silco does. He’s a real baby about his shimmer injections.”
You winced, but the pain really wasn’t as bad as you thought it was going to be. You laughed a little at Jinx’s comment about Silco. “Is that so?”
“Yep, he makes me do it every day for him at the same time, but he always procrastinates for like fifteen minutes beforehand. Sometimes he even paces,” she said with a giggle. “It’s really silly, honestly. I figure the faster you get it over and done with, the faster it’s, ya know, over. Makes sense to me.” She pulled out the needle as soon as she was done injecting the testosterone, placing a kiss to your stomach. “All done!”
“Really?” You asked, shocked that it happened so fast, before looking down at your blue-haired girlfriend.
“Yep,” she said with a wide grin, pulling your shirt back down for you, “so when does it start working?”
“Well, it’s something that builds up in your system, but technically I should see slight changes as early as the end of this week. I’m supposed to do it weekly, that’s why.”
“Nuh uh,” Jinx retorted.
Your eyebrows raised.
“I’ll be doing it for you weekly,” she said proudly, crossing her arms in front of her. “I might as well be a doctor at this point. I do your injections, mine, and Silco’s.”
You both laugh.
“Thank you, sweetheart.”
“Don’t get all mushy-gushy with me. I know you’d do the same for me,” Jinx replied, trying to not get too sappy with you. “Anyway, I’m excited to see what you’ll look like… finally being you. You’re already you, but… ya know what I mean.”
“I do.”
“You never did tell me… Do you want me to start calling you something else? Maybe there’s a name that you feel suits you more?” Jinx asked, placing her hands on your chest affectionately. She was a mere centimeters from you now, looking into your eyes with her own doe-y, pink ones.
“[Y/N],” you replied. It was obvious that you had thought about it prior to this conversation, but you just didn’t know how to bring it up until now.
She smirked before going in to kiss you. Your lips pressed against her velvety ones. Electricity shot through you as butterflies erupted in your stomach. She tasted like blue raspberry and smoke. It made you feel high just being near her, but kissing her was different. It made you feel crazy.
“I love you, [Y/N],” Jinx replied in a softer tone than the one she had held throughout the rest of your interaction. It was gentle, welcoming, and made you feel safe. It was a voice that you had imagined her having before she had become ‘Jinx.’ She played with the collar of your shirt. “It’s a nice name. It suits you.”
“I love you too, Jinx,” you replied in an equally as soft tone, “I love you so much.”

Angry Woman
Part 2
Part 1 here
TW: Some deep topics, take care of yourselves
The Price of Glory
The first thing that hit you when you arrived in London wasn’t the overwhelming size of the city or the sheer volume of people swarming the streets. It was the atmosphere. The air felt thick, charged with a pulse of relentless energy. London, unlike anything you’d known up north, had a kind of frantic magic to it. The hum of it all—constant, impatient, vibrant—seeped into your bones. It was a place where dreams were built and crushed, where even the boldest ambition could feel small.
And you? You were standing at the epicenter of it all.
Arsenal.
The weight of it felt heavy. The familiar red kit, the pitch, the trainers, the glances—it was all different now. You'd swapped one uniform for another. One badge for another. You'd left behind Manchester United, your roots, your home, the club that had shaped you into what you were today. Now, here you were, a new addition to the already stacked squad of Arsenal, in a city you barely knew, carrying the legacy of a star who might not have wanted to leave, but did.
You couldn't quite tell if you were scared or excited. Maybe both.
The first training session at Arsenal was supposed to be routine. Everyone expected it to be. But nothing felt routine when you were stepping onto that pristine pitch, all eyes on you—on the former United prodigy turned Arsenal’s golden girl.
It was harder than you thought.
You tried to keep your focus, your movements smooth, but the pressure was unbearable. You'd been a part of the England squad, you'd played in finals, lifted trophies—but today, you were just the new signing. And even with the best players around you, it felt like the loneliest place on earth.
“Hey,” a voice called from behind you as you jogged back to the side of the pitch, trying to shake the tension from your limbs.
You turned, only to see a familiar face. Alessia Russo, standing there, grinning like she hadn’t seen you in years. And in a way, she hadn’t.
Alessia. You'd spent years together at United—always pushing each other to be better, always knowing exactly how to read each other’s movements on the pitch. She had been there when you were just a teenager, trying to prove yourself, trying to carry your broken pieces with the weight of the world on your shoulders.
"Look at you," she said, her smile wide and genuine. "This feels wrong, doesn’t it?" Her eyes flicked briefly to the Arsenal badge on your chest, then back to you, a glint of mischief in her eyes.
You couldn't help but chuckle. “It feels... weird. I can’t lie.”
She raised an eyebrow. "Are you kidding me? If I was in your shoes, I’d be walking around like I owned the place."
You snorted, shaking your head. “Doesn’t feel like it, though. I swear, I feel like I’m just a kid in a new uniform. How do you do it?"
Alessia shrugged. "It’s just football, right? We’ve done this before. We’ll do it again. Don’t think too hard about it."
The easy way she said it made you smile. But you still couldn’t shake that feeling. The weight on your shoulders, the knowledge that, at Arsenal, you were now expected to be more than just a player. You were the future. And that was a lot to carry.
“Alright, let’s bring it in!”
You turned to see Renée Slegers, standing at the edge of the field. A woman who had built her reputation in the women’s game as a number two under Jonas Eidevall but was now reaping the rewards of her hard work in becoming the newest manager at Arsenal after the departure of Jonas.
She was intense. She didn’t miss anything. But she was also incredibly kind.
"Everyone, gather round," Renée called again, her voice cutting through the quiet murmur of conversation.
You and Alessia jogged over, joining the others in a tight circle. Renée stood in front of you all, eyes scanning each face, including yours. Her gaze lingered on you for a moment longer than the others. She smiled, she nodded, then started to speak.
“Welcome back everyone! Now we've all returned to rainy England after our holidays we can adjust to the cold again. This year is going to be our year, Arsenal's year. I truly believe we have what it takes as long as we put in the hard work. We are a team, and that’s the only way we’ll be successful.”
There was a pause as she let the weight of her words hang in the air, you study the other players who you were yet to have a proper conversation with. They were a real mix of people, from your captain at England to Amanda Illested who was just returning from pregnancy. They all looked united in the cause, Renee's cause.
Your eyes flicked to Alessia, who was watching you with an almost imperceptible nod, a reminder that you were no stranger to pressure. You’d been under pressure for years. A kind of pressure that not even Alessia knew about.
Renée’s eyes settled on you once more. She seemed to read the uncertainty in your posture, the way you were holding back.
"You’re a star Y/N L/N and we can't wait to work with you" she said, her voice warmer now, “ Welcome to Arsenal.”
There was a belief in her words that made you stand a little taller, a little straighter. For a second, the weight on your shoulders didn’t feel so heavy.
Renée stepped back, eyes sweeping across the group once more before adding, “Let’s get back to work."
You were still trying to absorb the intensity of that moment when Alessia bumped her shoulder against yours. "Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. I know you." She grinned again, that familiar spark of mischief in her eyes. "You’ve got this."
But you knew what she meant. She knew you. All of you. The raw talent, the fire, and the mess of emotions you carried with you. She had seen it before. The only thing she didn't know was the abuse, and you weren't about to tell her anything. Alessia might be like an older sister to you, but if she ever found out what you had let David Coben do to you then she'd abandon you in disgust. You were sure of it. It was what David had always told you.
"Yeah," you muttered, more to yourself than anyone else. "I can do this. Now i'm out of United, i have no reason to be angry anymore"
After the session, as you made your way to the locker room, there was a new kind of buzz in the air. A few players came up to you, offering their hands and welcoming you like you’d always been part of the squad.
“Hey, it’s so good to have you here!” Kim Little jogged up to you, the captain yet to take an opportunity to welcome you "If you need anything then don't hesitate to ask ok?"
You smiled, trying to keep the nerves at bay. “Thanks. I’m still getting used to everything.”
“Kid, you're world class, trust me.” she added sensing your hesitance, her smile warm. “I'm just glad we nabbed you off United before you carried them to the top of the league”
You heard a friendly laugh from behind and Leah Williamson flung an arm around your shoulder. You’d played against her for years, both with England and in club football, and despite her composed, professional exterior, she always had a knack for putting people at ease.
“Good to see you,” she said, squeezing you tightly to her side. “We’ve got a some great girls here. You’re going to love it.”
“I’m excited," you replied, your voice a little steadier.
Besides Leah stood Beth, who had that twinkle in her eye, the one that always made you laugh, even on the toughest days.
“You’ve no idea how much we need you,” Beth grinned, slinging an arm around your other shoulder in a friendly, no-nonsense way. “We’re all going to have so much fun.”
“Yeah, but you better not be slacking, or I’ll drag you through a few drills you won’t forget,” Leah teased, the captain qualities in her bubbling to the surface.
You couldn’t help but laugh. For all the uncertainty you’d felt before, now you were surrounded by the kind of camaraderie you hadn’t experienced in a while. There was no pretense here, no judgment. Just teammates, genuinely happy to have you on their side.
Alessia grinned and leaned toward you. “See? Everyone's excited that you're here” You wouldn't exactly call your England teammates, who'd you'd played with since you were 19, everyone on the team but you appreciated the sentiment.
It was a weird feeling, being surrounded by a squad and staff that you felt at ease around. You'd spent so long at United, so long walking its walls with fear that you never quite realised the freedom you were missing. You experienced it at England camps, of course. But to have it at club level too? You felt a little spoilt.
The change was surreal, but somehow, it felt right.
For the first time that day, the weight on your shoulders didn’t feel like a burden. You had a team behind you. And maybe—just maybe—this new chapter might be the one where you stopped being so angry.
That night, in your hotel room, you found yourself staring out at the sprawling town below, your reflection faint in the glass. St Albans was where all the Arsenal players set up residence, even the mens team. And until the team at Arsenal finalised your apartment, they had set you up in a cute hotel in the centre of town. The lights of the town were far more beautiful than the dark thoughts swirling in your head. You tried to push them away, tried to focus on the exciting weeks ahead, but they always came back. That shadow.
You had ignored it for so long. Everything at United had become normal, letting David Coben do those unthinkable things to you had become normal. You had left United's locker room horrors behind but even now, standing here in a new kit, in a new city, you knew the world was waiting for you to slip up.
The United fans, the ones who had once loved you most, were now dreaming of your downfall.
The media, the pouncing journalists, were just waiting for your next red card. Ready to spin a pun with your newest on pitch drama.
You sometimes wonder that if the world knew, if they found out about the sexual abuse, whether people would finally see why you were the way you were. They'd understand your anger and your decision to move clubs.
But you couldn't tell anyone. David Coben may have let you leave United but he'd never let you tell the world. Besides, you were ashamed, embarrassed and felt a whole other bundle of emotions that you weren't ready to unpack yet. In your head, escaping United would let you leave all that behind but the thing about running from your past is that it never lets you go.
You thought about your boyfriend for a moment, Lucas Riley, the world's most beloved pop star. No one on the outside world knew exactly what you were to each other but for a year now the two of you had been official. You never told Lucas about David either. You felt awful of course, like you were cheating. But you'd just wanted to have one normal relationship in your life. You didn't want to associate sex with fear and discomfort. Lucas had been a way out of that. And now you were at Arsenal he definitely didn't need to know. The past was the past.
You loved Lucas...didn't you? But he would remain in the dark. He was constantly away with his band and didn't need something else to worry about. He was the only thing in your past that you were still holding onto.
Maybe Arsenal was the fresh start you needed.
Or maybe it was just another step in the same long, dark journey.
Either way, you couldn’t stop now.
And, at least for tonight, you wouldn’t try.
You were a Lioness.
And Arsenal was your new pride.

Jane was happy enough to accept the spare room Maura had offered after she lost the baby. However, she slept with the door closed and never responded to Maura's gentle knocks when she went past on the way to her own bedroom. She stayed out of the common spaces unless someone else was there.
It felt, Maura realised, like being alone. Only worse, since she wasn't. Her best friend was there, hurting, and she wouldn't let Maura in.
Maura knew her well. She could read Jane's guilt like a medical journal.
"I would have paid for an abortion," Maura said, when Angela had left and Jane hadn't quite struggled to her feet. "Somewhere no one knew you."
Jane looked at Maura like she'd struck Jane.
"I - I didn't - I don't -"
"You went in alone. You didn't call anyone."
"I called you! As soon as I could!"
"Not before you went in alone."
Maura watched Jane struggle a little longer, then offered her arm. Jane ignored her.
"It's a mortal sin," Jane hissed. She didn't meet Maura's eyes, just hobbled past her to the kitchen with her plate from dinner.
"Isn't everything, including sex with someone you aren't married to? Someone you didn't want a baby with."
"I didn't want -"
"Hmm?" Maura met Jane's eyes. Jane looked away, washing her hands.
"I wanted the baby. Not his baby, but a baby."
"Then why did you go in alone? Why did you take that risk?"
"I wore my vest."
"You put it on a child then attacked an armed man with a pipe."
Jane shrugged.
"I wanted the baby," Jane said again, her voice low. "And then you met Jack."
Maura's breath caught.
"You were engaged."
"I didn't want to be."
"Then why did you - the ring?"
"It was nice to be asked. I'm not the kind of woman men ask, you know? My job scared them. I scare them. And I was trying not to -"
"Not to what?"
"It's another cardinal sin," Jane said. She rubbed her hands, looking down at the scars. She rubbed the bullet wound on her stomach, then her back. Then she looked up at Maura. "It's a cardinal sin to want you the way I did."
Maura's breath caught again.
"Did?"
"Do," Jane breathed. She slumped, like she'd been holding that in. "But it doesn't matter. They'll forgive me getting pregnant to a man I wasn't married to. They'll forgive me that."
"But not for an abortion?"
Jane's eyes met Maura's.
"Not for loving you."
Maura took a step back; Jane's look was so tortured and raw. It changed to concern. Jane stepped forward, reaching for her, but her hand didn't land on Maura to steady her.
"I guess - I wanted the baby because I thought of it as yours. Because I'm yours, or I was, and then you found Jack and I'm nothing, I'm no one, and that's why I went in alone. I didn't care what happened to me. I cared what happened to Tasha. I didn't even think of the baby, since it was part of me. I'm not as sorry it's gone as I should be, either, because I had been thinking of you as the other parent, and since you have Jack I would have been the single mother of a baby I had with a man I didn't love."
"But you loved me?" Maura had never heard her own voice so low.
Jane nodded slowly.
"I didn't want to," she said, and strong, sturdy, emotionally constipated Jane started crying in Maura's kitchen. She'd saved Maura from Dennis and held her for hours, but when Maura stepped forward Jane stepped away, wrapping her arms around herself.
"I wanted that too," Maura said quietly. "The baby, I mean. The baby being ours. When you asked me to take it if anything happened to you -"
"I was too chicken shit to say what I meant."
"You're brave, Jane. You saved Tasha. You've saved me, more than once."
"You're worth it," Jane whispered. She met Maura's eyes. She was hunched forward, her eyes shimmering with tears. "You've always been worth it. And Tash - I wouldn't have wanted her hurt. She's such a good kid."
Maura nodded sadly, eyeing the distance between them. She picked up her phone.
"Jack? I can't do this any more. No, I know you're not a serial killer." She laughed; she'd always enjoyed him. She liked Jack, but she loved Jane. All of her, even the stupidity that had lost her a baby. "You'd still be willing to donate sperm? Yes, you were right. No, I know, you said she has the job in New Mexico. I think it's best - you are lovely." Maura hung up and looked at Jane, who looked nervous and hunted.
"I think it's too soon for you to try again," Maura said. "But if you do want a baby - a baby with me - you're not allowed to work in the field. You're too impulsive. I thought I didn't mind when it was someone else's baby. I can't -" Maura cut herself off. Jane came closer. "I'm not asking you to give up your job - I know how important it is to you. But if you did, you know. The option is there, but the condition is your personal safety."
"You didn't have to do that," Jane whispered. "He was nice. I liked him."
"I didn't love him. Not the way I love you. I want children with you."
"As a friend?"
Maura chuckled and saw something in Jane's entire countenance ease. The tension from pretending to be straight while Catholic, maybe.
"As someone who loves me the way I love you. Sinfully."
"I kept thinking - it can't be a sin. Not if - w-wait, love?"
"Always have, Jane," Maura said, watching emotions chase themselves across Jane's face. Elation, fear, joy, anxiety. "You know I don't believe in God or the church, so if it takes a little longer I don't mind. You're still healing."
"Maybe," Jane swallowed, her eyes wide and bright, "maybe you could kiss it better."
When Maura stepped closer she could almost feel Jane's anxiety as a tactile sensation. It was thrumming between them like a pulse.
"Where does it hurt?" she said, and her voice was husky in a way she'd never heard it. She raised trembling hands to Jane's waist. "You know there's no scientific basis -"
Jane kissed her argument right out of her mouth. And despite the lack of scientific basis for her proposal, Jane somehow managed to kiss it better.

Tingles and Giggles - Chapter Twenty-Two- Tyler Owens x Reader
Get caught up with the Chapters 1-21 on the Masterlist! :)
Chapter Twenty-Two - Haggard, Jennings, and Strait
You had just left the gas station a couple of hours away from the small town where Auntie B lived, starting your journey to your parent's house. While you were filled with excitement, you were also quite nervous. You hadn’t brought any man home to your parents since your ex, Derek. Your parents were in love with Derek more than you think you were. They viewed him as the perfect boyfriend for you. He was pursuing a law degree and planned to have his firm in the Big Apple.
Your parents listened to you, but there were times you felt your words landed on deaf ears for what you wanted in life. Every parent wants their child to be happy and successful in life, but everyone views success differently.
While accelerating onto the highway, you leaned against the armrest and gripped the wheel tightly. In all honesty, it wasn’t just nerves you were feeling; you were scared, too.
Tyler decided to lean his seat back and put his hat to cover his face, in hopes of taking a brief nap. You slid one of your earbuds into your right ear and selected a random playlist from your ever-growing list of music. The piano intro of Merle Haggard’s ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ flooded your ear. You hummed along softly, but it was one of your favorite songs of Merle’s so it was hard to not sing along.
“That’s the way love goes, babe, that’s the music God made, for all the world to sing, it’s never old, it grows,” you sang softly, “Losing makes me sorry, you say, honey, now don’t worry, don’t you know I love you too, and that’s the way love goes.”
Little did you know, Tyler was not asleep beside you but was listening to you the whole time. You grew up listening to Haggard, Jennings, and Strait so it brought you back to a time when life was simpler.
Your phone dinged and your phone read it to you in your ear.
“A text from Mom, hey honey, what time do you think you will be at Uncle Oliver’s? Say what you’d like to respond with.”
“In an hour or so,” you said, “Who’s driving the truck and trailer?”
After it was sent, the fiddle on ‘Amarillo By Morning’ took over. You slightly started to rock your shoulders while listening, your fingers tapping the beat of the song on the steering wheel.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Tyler shuffle, glancing over you noticed he was disconnecting your phone from your ear bud and connecting it to the truck.
“What? I like this song, too,” he said, turning the volume up.
“Ah, okay,” you laughed softly.
“They took my saddle in Houston, broke my leg in Santa Fe, lost my wife and a girlfriend somewhere along the way,” he sang, sitting up in his seat, “But I’ll be lookin’ for eight when they pull that gate and I hope that judge ain’t blind. Amarillo by mornin’, Amarillo’s on my mind.”
“I never took you for much of a singer, Owens,” you said, turning the radio down slightly.
“Auntie B and my Mom would always have music playing, no matter the time,” he said, “Especially if it was classic country. They always played Alabama and Johnny Cash.”
“Sounds like my household,” you chuckled, “Hence why my boys are named Waylon and Willie.”
“Same for Cash, ain’t that right, bud?” He asked, turning around and seeing his dog passed out in the backseat peacefully.
“He’s had a lot of excitement the last 24 hours, babe,” you said, “Let the poor pup sleep.”
“I know,” he said softly, reaching his hand over and placing it on yours, “My last few days have been a lot of excitement, too.”
“I bet, you’re with one crazy lady,” you laughed.
“The only thing she doesn’t know is that I’m crazier,” he laughed.
Your phone dinged again, this time it playing over the truck sound system.
“A text from Mom, your father planned on having you drive and use your truck, then we’d have your boyfriend help out with some of the manual labor. You know we have to see if he is even worth your time. Say what you’d like to respond with.”
You pressed the button on the screen to not send a reply.
“Well that isn’t embarrassing at all,” you groaned, rubbing your forehead while turning off the main highway.
“It’s okay, they just want to see if I’m good enough for you,” he said, “Normal protective parenting.”
“That’s what you think,” you scoffed and rolled your eyes, “Just wait until they bring up my ex and won’t stop talking about them.”
“Why do they like him so much since he broke your heart?” Tyler asked, squeezing your hand gently.
“Because in their eyes he was the perfect boyfriend,” you mocked your parent's tone, “Meanwhile our relationship was far from perfect. I’m glad he cheated, even though it did give me trust issues.”
“Okay, now I’m lost,” he said, leaning to be facing you slightly.
“As much as my parents viewed him as perfect, after year two I was starting to fall out of love with him. We would fight, a lot and about the dumbest things. I’d want to go listen to bands and dance in downtown Salado, yet he would want to go to the city and bar-hop with his college friends,” you said, your mind going back to how those days made you feel, “He’d be gone to the cities for a whole weekend if not longer sometimes. He never helped out with the farm chores when we’d go to my parents. It’d just be that his soft little hands can’t get rough, it doesn’t look good in a courtroom.”
“Was he going to be a judge or something?” Tyler asked.
“Lawyer,” you said, “My parents viewed him as going to be quite successful and would make me happy my whole life. So, I swallowed my pride and stayed with him to make them happy.”
“Why though? If you were miserable,” he started to say.
“Because back then I was a people pleaser,” you snapped, “And others abused that so I’ve been working on not being one.”
“I see,” he said quietly.
“But what I view as being happy isn’t what they view, so I just suffered until I had an actual reason to leave him,” you said, pulling into a rest stop and putting the truck in park.
“I’m sorry you had to go through that for that long, baby,” he said softly, reaching over and moving a piece of hair from your face.
“It is what it is, Ty,” you sighed, resting your forehead on the top of the steering wheel, “I’ve moved past it to what actually makes me happy.”
“I make you happy?” He asked, a smirk coming to his face.
“Yes, you dummy,” you said while sitting up and smacking his chest lightly, “I wouldn’t have said yes if you didn’t.”
“I suppose you’re right,” he chuckled, kissing the back of your hand.
“Are you okay to drive? I need to text my mom that we’ll be there in twenty and I need to calm down so I don’t lose it the next couple of days,” you said, unbuckling your seatbelt.
“Anything for you babe,” he said, “I’d rather not have to bail you out of jail.”
“I wouldn’t kill anyone, just say some not-nice things,” you said, opening your door and sliding out of your seat.
“That’s what they all say,” he chuckled, getting out of his side of the truck to go around to the driver's side.
While you messaged your mom back that you’d be there soon, you leaned the seat back slightly and rubbed your face with your fingers. There was a reason you rarely visited your family, and this was it. The home wasn’t a happy place anymore without James there. Your view of life changed, along with what priorities you had. You moved to stay focused on one thing and one thing only. Yourself.

ღChapter 4~ Unfamiliar | Mini Masterlist | Chapter 6
When you, San and Mingi entered the observation room, Hongjoong was animatedly talking with another new alien. This one had the face of an angel and the body that almost rivaled San’s. The closer you got, the easier it was to hear the discussion the two aliens were having.
“What do you think is the common denominator then, Yeosang?” Hongjoong hissed in frustration.
Yeosang’s eyes slid towards San and you hugged San closer to yourself. You had once worried that with the breeding mission they had, that eventually the aliens would have no need for San. You needed them to have a need for San. You didn’t dare think of the alternatives.
“It’s her mate. Seonghwa was able to successfully ejaculate inside the female when the male was restrained. He’s been the spark that’s been setting off other reactions. He needs to go.”
San brightened at the idea of being restrained again. “Oh, the masturbating ropes? I could give those a go again!”
You hushed San and he looked a little let down. “San isn’t going anywhere,” You insisted.
Hongjoong turned and narrowed his eyes down at you. “You are becoming less and less agreeable the longer you remain amongst us, human. I am no longer fond of these interactions.” His head snapped back to Yeosang. “Are you sure these two were chosen at random? Could the human’s have infiltrated us? What if they do not truly want us to learn of their mating rituals? Are they sabotaging us?”
Yeosang shook his head, his hair swooshing along his forehead. “No, Captain, I don’t believe that is possible. We observed them for days and researched all aspects of their lives. They are not attached to any human government or societies. They simply…” Yeosang waved his arms around for lack of scientific words, “...fuck.”
“They do know a lot about fucking,” Mingi agreed.
“Then we will attempt to reenact what Seonghwa did with the human. Mingi and I will observe, the human male will remain but restrained, otherwise the female will not be cooperative. And you will fuck her,” Hongjoong commanded.
Yeosang pointed a finger at himself. “Me?!” He said in disbelief, “Not you?”
Hongjoong shook his head, a flash of emotion passing through his eyes. He wasn’t scared… was he? “I do not think it wise for me to be the next one.”
“But I’ve hardly studied…” Yeosang swallowed loudly.
Hongjoong motioned with a sharp jerk of his chin at you. “The female is well versed. She can guide you.”
Yeosang eyed you warily. “I do not trust her.”
“Well, I don’t either but unless you want Seonghwa down here, we don’t have much of a choice,” Hongjoong snapped.
“Where is our old pal anyways?” San wondered.
“Seonghwa is being decontaminated. It seems that your Babe’s cunt has done something to Seonghwa that is making him act more human than our kind. He wants to be with his Comet and fuck her more than necessary and that is… unsettling,” Hongjoong admitted.
You frowned wistfully. Was Seonghwa pining for you somewhere in the spaceship? You had worried that you had got him in too much trouble. You kinda missed him too, with his open wonder and innocent curiosity but also ferality in regards to your body.
“Perhaps this is the cost of copulation,” Yeosang speculated, “Your mind is lost to the female you fuck.” Yeosang shivered. “That is dangerous.”
Mingi was sending you glances. “That is dangerous.”
It was hard to not laugh at the fact that even aliens understood the allure and dangerous hold a female’s pussy had on a male. Some things did not change despite species.
Hongjoong motioned with his hand that he wanted Yeosang to get this over with. “Mingi has disproved the ritual to lick the last cock that was in the female as a sign of respect so there is no need for you to do it,” Hongjoong commanded.
There's a hint of pink to Hongjoong's cheeks. Did he think he was a fool for his theory? Is that why he was so angry with you?
San sighed heavily. “There goes that fun.”
Hongjoong snapped his fingers. “Jongho. Restrain this male human.”
“San,” your boyfriend insisted with his signature pout. “Come on, Hongjoong. You licked my dick! Surely we're on a first name basis.”
Hongjoong’s jaw clenched in anger. “Gag him too.”
The ropes were back but they remained stationary. Clearly the aliens had learned that San was not helpful to their cause, so they weren't going to give him any extra pleasures.
“Well, that's disappointing,” San lamented.
In response, a rope came out, tiny tendrils escaping the end of it, and wrapped around San's tongue. Then it moved into San's mouth and expanded around his face, effectively holding his tongue. But San closed his eyes. Oh god, the aliens didn't know what they were doing. You, of all people, knew how much San loved when you sucked on his tongue.
“Let's get this over with,” Yeosang said haughtily. But his eyes scooted around everywhere. He seemed nervous.
“Shall we figure out a name you'll refer to me as? I do hate the term human with a passion.” Your gaze couldn't help but cut towards Hongjoong.
Yeosang vehemently shook his head. “That is a part of the power you hold over the others. Mingi is our most loyal soldier. Seonghwa has one of the greatest scientific minds on this ship. You've reduced them to slaves for your body. I'll not give you the satisfaction.”
“You don't think that perhaps there's a reason your kind has removed the chance to procreate? Sure, it's more efficient and less messy with emotions, but sex is a powerful thing simply for the pleasure it brings. Could it just be that having sex is good but your kind view it as bad because it can't be quantified?”
Yeosang raised his chin stubbornly. “It's just a bunch of chemicals popping off in your brain.”
“If it's not something you're supposed to feel then why does it exist in the first place?” You challenged him.
“Yeosang, just do as she asks!” Hongjoong insisted. “She has to be willing or it won't work! She needs to be creamy!”
Mingi sent a long look at Hongjoong, who was pink again as he perceived the look Mingi was sending him. “Wooyoung was wrong. He doesn't know more than me,” Hongjoong insisted.
“Well… I… watched the things you call films. There is this concept called romance between you humans,” Yeosang admitted.
You can't help but smile. Yeosang is stuttering through his logical thoughts, proving your point. You can put certain aspects of a human into a box but it's a whole other can of worms when you're going through it. “Mmm?” You prompted, smile getting wider.
Yeosang’s eyes got wide and now his cheeks are pink. He whirled around to confront Hongjoong. “I can't do this. I'm untried. If not you than surely Mingi could fuck her?”
Mingi took a step forward immediately but Hongjoong placed hand on the taller man's chest. “No, Yeosang, he's had some experience now. I need your unfiltered opinion. I only trust you now. Please.”
Yeosang scratched the back of his head and laughed. “How does sweetheart sound?”
San made distressed noises and your eyes went to him immediately. “San? What are you doing to him?” Your head whirred around to the direction Hongjoong had spoken to the alien in control of the ropes around San. “Jongho! Release him immediately.”
Hongjoong turned to where the other alien Jongho must be and threw his hands up in frustration. “You're going to let a human order you around too?”
The ropes unwound around San and he almost collapsed, if not for his fast reflexes catching himself. “San?!” You cried out his name.
You patted over his body, sure you were going to find something wrong with him. When you found nothing, you grabbed his head between your hands. “Tell me what's wrong right now.”
San hummed, sounding like he had just… Your eyes moved down to San's pelvis, where there was a wet spot. “San!” You screeched.
“I'm not sorry,” San said in a low, satisfied voice.
“You idiot,” You scolded your boyfriend. “I thought you were worried about Yeosang’s pet name for me.”
San laughed, grinning and biting down on his lower lip. “Sweetheart is kinda hot, actually, now that you mention it.”
“You hot idiot,” You muttered again.
You made an impulse decision. You undid San's jeans and yanked down both his underwear and pants in one swift motion. You buried your face in his pelvis and took his soft cock in your mouth to suck off all his cum.
“Hhnnnnn, fuck fuck fuck, oh god, I'm so fucking sensitive, ahhhhh,” San whined but he didn't stop you. You knew your boyfriend loved being overstimulated.
You rose with your mouth full.
“What are you doing?” Hongjoong cried out.
“She's got…his seed in her mouth,” Mingi said in awe.
“Swallow it!” San pouted.
You turned to Yeosang, who looked partly shocked and partly excited. You grabbed his head the same way you had grabbed San and slanted your mouth across his. You stuck your tongue in Yeosang’s mouth, pushing San's cum into the alien's mouth. Yeosang moaned loudly, his arms coming around your body and hugging you to him.
“He accepted?” Hongjoong sputtered.
Mingi looked from you and Yeosang, back to San. “Is this another trick?”
“Babe!” San continued to whine and pout.
“Is it… punishment?” Hongjoong guessed next.
You broke the kiss with Yeosang. You could still taste San in your mouth. “Don't look at San. Don't respond to anything he says. Pretend he's not even there. Help me punish him?”
“I don't…” Yeosang struggled.
“What did you do wrong?” Hongjoong demanded from San.
San dejectedly pulled his pants up and did himself up. “I made her worry when I was just doing something perverted.”
“But I thought… aren't you the one in charge?” Mingi’s eyes were big and confused.
San looked bashful. “In the bedroom, yeah… you could say that--HEY, ARE YOU GRABBING HIS ASS?” San yelled that last part at you.
You tilted your head flirtatiously at Yeosang. “Do you like that?”
Yeosang swallowed loudly. “I like how it feels?”
“What about this?” You asked as your other hand groped his chest.
San’s head fell in his hands as he lamented. “Not his tits.”
“This is confusing,” Mingi admitted.
“You were so enthusiastic about her being with others?” Hongjoong pushed to understand.
San pouted and spoke. “She… she loves my butt and my chest. She's personally attacking me. I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself! Babe! It was sucking my tongue!”
Yeosang made a garbled noise as your thumb flicked over his nipple. “And that?”
“I…” Both of you looked between your bodies, seeing and feeling Yeosang’s cock twitching between your bodies. “I really like that.”
Yeosang let you push off his robe and he was immediately naked. Your hands spanned over his broad shoulders.
San clasped his hands together and started to beg on his knees. “Please, I'll make it up to you.”
“I'm gonna lie down on your robe and you should brace yourself above me, with your hips between my legs,” You instructed, deftly grabbing Yeosang’s robe from the crooks of his arms.
“Are you… are you going to mark up his back? I said I was sorry?” San continued to plead his case.
“She is merciless,” Mingi said in awe.
“This is the danger of being a slave to her pussy, Mingi, look at him! He has the body of a warrior and he is crying for her attention. Is that what you want to be now?” Hongjoong demanded.
Mingi looked like Hongjoong wasn't going to like what he was about to say. “I only had my cock between her breasts. But--”
“Don't answer that,” Hongjoong cut off the taller man quickly.
Once you were in the desired position, you wriggled your underwear down your legs, and it hung from your ankle. “I'm going to need you to rub yourself up and down my lips, okay Yeosang? Like Hongjoong said, I need to be nice and creamy for you.”
“I can--” Yeosang laughed in spite of himself. “Is this how they all feel? Being lured by you?” Yeosang shook his head and took the position you had instructed. Then he began to flex his pelvis so that his cock ran up and down your somewhat moist folds.
You tossed your head back, digging your nails into Yeosang’s shoulder blades. “Just like that, Yeosang,” You encouraged him.
Yeosang moaned beautifully at the sensation he was getting. “Feels good,” Yeosang continued to moan. He changed angles and accidently pushed against your hole.
“Not yet!” You whined. You wrapped your hands around his biceps that were straining to hold his body off yours, and pulled your body up.
“Just the tip!” Yeosang insisted, his cock following your moving body.
“It's never just the tip,” You said through gritted teeth. “This isn't my first rodeo, Yeosang.”
You moved high enough that Yeosang slipped out of you again. He choked back a sob, listening to you regardless of what his body was telling him. You reached between the two of you and grabbed the base of his cock with both hands. This way, you were able to manually rub Yeosang over your wet inner folds and smear your wetness over your clit.
You closed your eyes, rocking to the feeling of Yeosang’s smooth cockhead rubbing your clit. This left you a little vulnerable, however. Your arms pushed your breasts together, and although still partially covered from your shirt, still made them look appetizing. It also allowed San to creep up beside you.
“Look how cute she looks under you,” San whispered to Yeosang. “She's getting all that pleasure from your cock. You're doing that. Isn't that worth giving up some control?”
“Don't listen to him,” You whispered fiercely.
“BABE!”
“I'm ready, Yeosang.” You moved Yeosang’s cock to your hole and looked up at the alien. “Push inside of me but please go slow. I know you’ll want to just slip all the way in but that would hurt. And we don’t want to be hurt during sex.”
Yeosang’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “But I liked when your nails dug into my back?”
You smiled. “Let me rephrase that: we don’t want to hurt because of sex.”
“Ahhhh,” Yeosang said in confirmation he understood the distinction.
Your eyes rolled into the back of your head as Yeosang slowly but surely pushed into your wet cunt. He was thick enough that you needed the time to adjust. You removed one hand to allow him more room.
You watched Yeosang curiously. Sweat beaded at his hairline. He laughed nervously at your gaze. You gripped his chin between your thumb and forefinger. “Are you okay, Yeosang?”
“I’m the alien but why do I feel like you’re watching me?” Yeosang admitted.
“I want to make sure you’re okay. This is your first time. You are okay, right?”
Yeosang narrowed his eyes and cocked his head. “I’m the one penetrating you? But yes I’m fine.”
You removed your other hand and whimpered as Yeosang pressed fully into you. Fuck, he was stretching you. “Oh, fuck.”
“Suck on your finger,” San said mischievously, still not having vacated his spot by the two of you. “If you play with her nipples, she will come quickly. You want to get this over with, right?”
“San!” You hissed.
“Right?” San persisted.
You both watched Yeosang struggle with his inner turmoil. “I…” He swallowed loudly. “Would you enjoy that…sweetheart?”
You and San moaned in unison.
“I would Yeosang but…” Your mouth went dry as Yeosang maintained his stance over you with only one hand and then he sucked down on his forefinger.
“No, wait.”
San reached over and pulled Yeosang’s finger out of his mouth and pushed the alien’s thumb between Yeosang’s lips. Yeosang allowed San to guide his hand down to your breast and San showed Yeosang where to rub, after pulling your shirt out of the way. San’s eyes were glued to Yeosang’s wet thumb rubbing circles around your nipple, making it pert.
“Close your mouth, for goodness sake, Mingi!” Hongjoong scolded the alien beside him.
Mingi did so but his eyes were big and wide and vulnerable. “You have no idea what it feels to suck on them, Hongjoong. You don’t get it.”
“Yeo-Yeosang,” You couldn't help but stutter as he played with your nipple at San’s prompting. “You should start moving.”
Yeosang slowly dragged his eyes up from your boobs to your face. “Huh?”
You wrapped your legs around Yeosang’s body and nudged his ass with the heels of your feet. The movement shifted Yeosang inside of you and you both made noises. “Pull out and then push back in.”
Yeosang watched with wide eyes as he pulled his cock out and it was covered in your slick. “You’re so creamy.”
You bit down on your lip playfully. “Just for you, Yeosang.”
Yeosang watched as he pushed back into you, slowly. He did the back and forth, at a pace that almost made you wanna kill someone, if not for the knowledge that you were with a virgin and Yeosang didn’t know any better. You couldn't snap at him like you would have with San. But then again, San would have had a shit-eating grin on his face, knowing how much the pace made you impatient.
“You can go a bit faster, Yeosang,” You encouraged him.
Yeosang sped up his pace but he quickly found that your body was moving and he had to chase it if he was to remain inside of you. That’s when he cupped your ass with his free hand, to keep you close to his body.
“Fuck, oh, oh god.” Your eyes rolled into the back of your head.
“Speed is good but…” San tilted his head. “He needs a better angle.”
San moved behind Yeosang and placed his hands on Yeosang’s hips. Yeosang’s eyes went wide in distress.
“You need to brush up against her g-spot,” San murmured. His hands guided Yeosang’s hips.
“Did he help you like this?” Hongjoong demanded of Mingi
The taller alien nodded, still slack jawed at the show of Yeosang fucking you. “He did. A rite of passage between friends. He informed my trial run. He is… my master?”
Hongjoong facepalmed in response. “They said they gave me the best of the best aliens to work with.”
San's head popped up over Yeosang’s. “Is that better, Babe? You gonna come? Surely one of these aliens can make you come,” he spoke in pout.
“You little rascal,” You gasped at San.
Your boyfriend smiled like he was a cat that got his cream. “Yes?”
“It's not about me. It's about Yeosang coming inside of me,” you insisted.
San pouted harder. “It's always about you!”
“I--” Yeosang moaned when his deep, rough voice made you clench harder down On him. “Can't we both experience pleasure together?”
“Awe,” You couldn't help but whimper. “You do your best, okay Yeosang?”
Yeosang’s eyebrows furrowed in concentration. “It is about two people. I believe it is an exchange. Two bodies deserve two orgasms.”
“You do not need to make the female orgasm in order to procreate,” Hongjoong protested.
San shot a glare towards Hongjoong. “And this is why you haven’t fucked her yet.”
Hongjoong’s spine suddenly became ramrod straight, as if what San had said was insulting. “That is not true!”
“She does make nice noises though,” Mingi brought up. “It does help the process.”
“Not helping,” Hongjoong said through gritted teeth.
“Both of us,” Yeosang said firmly.
You nodded, smiling encouragingly. “Together.”
With Yeosang’s hand firmly on your ass to keep you close to him, he fucked into your cunt, at just the right angle that he was rubbing that good spot inside of you. Your cries began to crescendo and soon you were squeezing down on Yeosang, your orgasm washing through you. Yeosang came after, a lusty, loud cry as he spurted inside of you. He chased his high and you let him, drinking in the look on his face as he came.
“Yes!” San pumped two hands in the air like he won a sport’s game.
“How was that?” You wondered, brushing some hair from Yeosang’s face.
“That was… that was…” Yeosang gasped and struggled to find his words.
Mingi sighed. “Yeah…..” His deep voice echoed through the observation room.
“That was amazing,” Yeosang settled on. He blinked continuously. “Can we do that again?”
“Hey Yeosang, you wanna do us a favor and pull out of Babe for a moment?” San asked.
Yeosang did so and the three of you watched as liquid sunshine spilled from your cunt.
“The yellow cum somehow matches you, Sangie,” You couldn't help but giggle.
Yeosang giggled too in response and then straightened his face. He looked at Hongjoong next.
“Perhaps…” Hongjoong walked around you three with one hand behind his back and another at his chin as he contemplated everything. “Perhaps it is good to have an instructor. Perhaps it is better that we abducted a couple, for this purpose.”
The alien’s sharp language cut through the air. You could practically see the gears turning in Hongjoong’s head. “Ah, Wooyoung’s back. I think I know what we should try next.”
