sorry i hate to be the screenshotterrrrrr but MANNNNNN
#i rlly wanna know if the context behind their falling out was different originally. it seems so#even in the final cut their fight is rlly weirdly charged for the conflict essentially being 'ur annoying and almost messed this up for me'#like i get it was kinda big stakes for gru but it went okay. it worked out#from drus perspective i get it bc gru absoulutely just. lied to to his face abt like a bunch of stuff and then tore into him#but for gru to be like 'i have no brother'...... it feels bigger than that#my first thought is if maybe dru fabricated the story abt thir father being a villain just to get closer to gru#but even that seems too tame#i do rlly like how u can tell gru is genuinely hurting here#again in the final cut its moreso like. he just stops caring abt dru . hes not hurt by him hes just pissed off and no longer interested#anyway looookk all the minions r here. or at least abunch of them. how cute
