Hey! Could you maybe write something for Lia Wälti where r has a reputation as a fuckboy/womanizer since they have quite a few one-night stands that never lead to anything more. They always get teased by the team for that. R and Lia are close friends and always very close physically: cuddling on the couch, sleeping in the same bed during sleepovers, Lia sitting on r's lap etc. One night they are watching a movie or smth on the couch and Lia straight up asks r why they have never tried anything with her. R tells her it is because they don't want her to leave, and then explains that basically all anyone ever wanted from them was sex, and no one stuck around after they had that, that's why now r just sticks to casual hook-ups if anyone approches them, and never actually initiates that stuff first. And they don't care about some stranger leaving in the morning, but they do like Lia a lot, and her leaving would really hurt, so they never acted on their feelings. And then a fluffy confession from Lia's side? Sorry this is really long, you absolutly don't have to do it if you're not comfortable with it!
Warnings: swearing, short, suggestive, mentions of sex (brief) mentions of fuck-boy, mentions of one night stands, kissing, making out.

Relationship’s aren’t your thing. You think they are underrated, love is underrated. You were taught that way while growing up. Sure, maybe the reason why is because you never knew your dad since he left the minute your mum got pregnant - ever since then your mother had taught you to never fall in love. So you took that advise. Never been in a relationship before, but definitely slept with half the girls in your hometown.
You always did a really good job with trying to not let those one night stands get in the way of football. Ending things with the girl as soon as the sunrise starts to shine awake. Cutting off any excess to phone number, instagram, ext.
Two years ago, you left your hometown. With getting a bigger contact with a new team who has been pushing for you for some time now - Arsenal. You decided to step up your game. Even win more trophies. Leaving was easy. You had no relationship with any family member, then not fearing enough to even say goodbye either.
But, ever since joining Arsenal things have been different. Different as in, not that many one night stand - and that’s because of a girl. A girl. Breaking a promise to your mother, you seem to be drawn into this woman. You so badly wanted to push her away, but you can’t seem to have the courage to. Which was weird. You always had courage to do anything. You never felt any sort of guilt of even thinking of doing anything like that.
She was driving you crazing.
Right now, it’s after training. Everyone is all gathered in the changing rooms. Getting into their own clothes they walked in this morning. You sitting down in the bench, tying your lases on your trainers.
Kyra, with the same old smirk on her face, sits down next to you, nudging your shoulder. “Y/l/n, you been with cute ladies lately?”
You roll your eyes, now knowing everyone is now focused on you. “No.”
Kyra raises an eyebrow, looking around the room before speaking. “Really? Cause if I remember what miss McCabe said to me the other day was - on your first day with the team you tried to get with everyone.”
You look up, immediately making eye contact with Katie who immediately moves behind her girlfriend. “I didn’t say tha-“
You roll my eyes again, before shrugging my shoulders. “Okay, sure but I didn’t try to get with them. Just flirted before I didn’t anymore.”
“That’s true, she hasn’t flirted with us ever since then.” Leah confirms, nodding her head.
“Why did you stop?” Kyra asks. Your eyes shifted to Lia, who was looking at you, smiling softly knowing the answer. “No reason.”
You then stand up from the bench. “Now, if you excuse me, I’m going home. Why don’t you nag to Alessia to who she kissed at last nights party.”
“What?!” - “For fuck sake, Y/n/n!”
With all the attention to Alessia. You look for Lia who is still looking at me. You nod my head for her to follow me. She easily sneaks past everyone who is still pestering Alessia.
As soon as you walk out the door; when you see Lia, you quickly grab her arm pulling her into a storage room. She lets out a yelp as you push her in. You quickly shut the door, locking it.
You turn around to see Lia smiling widely at you. Her hands on her hips. “Seriously? This is so high-school relationship material. Sneaking into the storage room?”
You shrug, smiling at her. “Can’t help myself. Haven’t kissed you for hours.” You mumble, taking only a small step forward to wrap your hands around her waist.
“Is that so?” Lia whispered, immediately wrapping her arms around your neck. “Well, we should do something about that, hey?”
You nod your head, pulling her closer to kiss her. The kiss was soft. Very different to other kisses you had with other girls.
You smile into the kiss - again, different to other girls that you never smiled while kissing before.
Lia change your life straight away.
First day at Arsenal. Kyra was right. You flirted with everyone - but as soon as your eyes founded Lia’s body you stopped. All your attention was on her and her only.
Lia pull away from the kiss. “Let me ask you something.” She says, looking up at you. - You nod your head, hands rubbing against her hips.
“Why haven’t you tried anything with me?”
You burrow your eyebrows, looking at her. “What you mean?”
“Like you were at your hometown. You choked up with every girl you found hot - and obviously you found me hot but, you didn’t try anything. You didn’t even flirt with me like you did with the others.” Lia rambled, her eyes staying in yours the whole time.
“Dunno. You’re different, and I don’t know why. I definitely thought about it but then hated myself. I could never do that to you.” You answered honestly.
“But, I’m not. I promise.” You state, holding her hands. Lia smiles, rubbing her thumb along your hand. “I know. I can tell how much you care about me. Just wanted to know.”
Lia then pulls you back into a kiss. You instantly kiss back, again smiling. “Let’s go home… I got something planned.” Lia mumbles, smirking.
“Oh yeah?” You mumble back, pulling away to see her smirk, smirking back. “What?”
“It’s a surprise.” Lia whispers, unlocking the door and pulling it open. Once the cost was clear she grabs your hand, pulling you with her to the exit.
You never been more grateful that you left your hometown to London.

I have a request for dealer!chris sturniolo. What if reader went ‘missing’ for a couple of hours but they were actually at there friends house and dealer! Chris was freaking out. (Don’t have to do it if it’s not apart of ur au!!)
it's not my au but i wanted to do it anyway, sorry it took so long 🫡 idk if it's exactly what you wanted but there you go
spending time with your best friend was one of your favorite things to do. whenever you were both free, you tried to meet up, and minutes turned into hours, mouths wouldn't close, food would disappear, laughter would fill the room. you loved it. but often while you were in this peaceful, fun bubble, you forgot about the world outside.
and that's how it was this time, you both sat on the couch at her house all day, eating sweets and talking shit about her ex. until your friend's phone buzzed and her eyes widened. she shows you the screen, your heart skips a beat when you see chris's name on it.
his text was short and straight to the point, "if y/n is with you tell her to call me the fuck back".
holy shit.
you were quick to remember that you were supposed to meet with him for one of your frequent smoking sessions. the realization, that the little hang out with your friend that were supposed to last not more than an hour but turned into the whole day, hits you like a punch to the gut. you could only imagine how irritated chris is that you accidentally stood him up.
your suspicion is confirmed after appearing in your apartment at the speed of light, immediately finding him pissed off inside. chris knew where you kept the spare key since you two were pretty... close.
the death stare he gives you, almost makes you trip over your feet, hesitantly walking closer to the couch he was sitting on. hood on his head, hands in the pocket of his hoodie, jaw clenched. a slight smell of smoke hangs in the air, you notice a lot of cigarette butts in the ashtray on the coffee table, right next to a few pre rolled joints. he didn't smoke them without you.
"hi...?"
his tongue clicks against his teeth, voice low when he speaks, "hi? disappearing for a whole day, ignoring my calls and all you say is fuckin' hi?"
"i wasn't ignoring you, my phone died...." you explain, slowly sitting next to him, his eyes watching your every movement, but his body doesn't even move an inch even if it's aching to pull you into a hug with relief that you're fine.
chris couldn't believe how stupid it was. you "missing" had him freaking out for the whole day, for some reason thinking that something or someone had done something to you. at first he just assumed you're in the store maybe or do whatever else and will be back at your place soon, so he sat down and waited. it happened before, sometimes you would just go to get your nails done, while he was waiting in your living room until you come back and smoke with him. but you never not answer his texts or calls, so after a while he started losing his shit. until something clicked in his head and he thought of your bestfriend. bingo.
"couldn't somehow text me that you're busy and okay?" his tone dripping with annoyance, which is how he tried to hide how worried he actually felt, not knowing what was going on with you. "m'waitin' like a fuckin' idiot here 'n all i hear from you is that your phone died?"
he knew that as your dealer he had no reason to be angry about anything other than the fact that you set him up. but he was angry because of something else, that he thought something had happened to you and he was worried about you, smoking cigarettes like in a trance, trying to control his emotions all day long.
"i'm sorry, i was just catching up with my friend and i got lost in time and...." you anxiously bite down on your bottom lip, while chris remains silent.
he mutters before stopping himself, "i thought something happened, like— was losin' my mind and shit..."
this makes your heart skips a beat and you shift closer, removing the hood off his head and running your hand through his messy hair, getting a hum in response. his attitude softening slightly. "i'm fine, chris, just forgot that we were supposed to meet today, i'm sorry."
"yeah, is whatever..." he tries to sound unbothered, but wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you onto his lap, where you settle comfortably with a smile. "you were worried?" you raise your eyebrow, getting a scoff in response.
"don't be ridiculous, kid."
but deep down he knew he was.

"Attention! The team selection period will end shortly."
His hand was warm as it wrapped around yours gently, squeezing it ever so slightly. "Thank you," you smiled at In-ho again, before slowly pulling your hand away. When the timer beeped, the guards ushered everyone to the center of the two large rainbow tracks. The teams sat together, waiting for whatever would happen next.
"The game you will participate in today is a Six-Legged Pentathlon. Team members will start with their legs tied together. At each ten-meter interval on the track, one member of the team will play a mini-game. If that player wins, the team can move on to the next challenge."
You cursed quietly and dropped your head. There were no adequate words to describe how much you hated games like these growing up.
"The mini-games are as follows: Game one, Ddakji. Game two, Biseokchigi. Game three, Gong-gi. Game four, Paengi Chigi. And finally, game five, Jegichagi. You will have five minutes. To win, you must complete all mini-games and cross the finish line before the time runs out. Now please decide which player will be assigned to each mini-game."
"...fuck," you cursed again, biting your lip. 388 jerked slightly, looking at you with big eyes. "Sorry," you mumbled, inhaling sharply. Before you could say anything else, 390 spoke up. "It's good that we got a woman," he beamed, looking at you. "You can play-"
"Ddakji," you cut him off dryly. "My fine motor skills leave much to be desired." That was a blatant lie, but nobody could know that - except for In-ho. He watched the exchange with stoney countenance. Apparently, he had perfected his pokerface over the years.
"I can play Gong-gi," 388 spoke up after some hesitating. 390 opted for Biseokchigi, 456 for Jegichagi. "I'll take Paengi Chigi then," In-ho said, smiling a bit for once.
Ddakji and Paengi Chigi.
Involuntarily, you let your mind wander. Back to better and easier times, warm summers full of fun and laughter. In-ho and you grew up in the same neighborhood, and much to your parents' chagrin, you spent most of your freetime outside, doing and playing things that were not necessarily "for girls" as your mother always stressed it - not that you cared.
There was not one day of summer, when you would not come home with dirty, sometimes torn clothes. Those were the best days. Hours of tag, hide-and-seek, and ojingo - no matter if it was sunny or rainy.
On bad days, you played this. Six-Legged Pentathlon.
You never liked that game. Those were the times where the boys would pull at and drag you along with their hands and feet. The ropes always dug into your skin, leaving behind sore burn marks which your mother would scold you for later.
You were always on the losing team because you messed up during your turn. Naturally, being the girl, you had to play Gong-gi. Goodness, how you hated Gong-gi. Nobody cared if the dice were too big and your hands too small to catch them all. You messed up. That is what mattered.
And then, one day, you were on In-ho's team. He never asked, what the others wanted to play. He was the one who decided. "You'll play Ddakji," he had said with the biggest grin on his face, "and I'll do Paengi Chigi."
Ddakji and Paengi Chigi.
You did not remember if it was during one of those summers that you decided you would marry him. Your mother claimed so at least...
"Hey, are you still with us?"
"Huh?" you asked, clearly startled. 388 laughed and nudged your shoulder. "Don't worry. We have a strong team. We will live to see another day."
"I'm not worried," you answered, stretching your neck to look at the team that was currently being shackled together for the first round, "not for us."
"Then what's wrong?" In-ho asked, looking over at you from his spot. He sounded so calm and nonchalant, but when you looked at him, you saw his eyes telling another story. They sparkled with curiousity, and... mirth?
"Nothing," you mumbled, shaking your head and looking away from him again. "I just wondered if I ever played something like this when I was a child."
They all frowned at you. Before anyone could pry further, a shot was heard - signalling the beginning of Round 1. Everyone watched with anticipation, cheering the teams on - some loud, others in silence. You looked around slowly, finding some of the players so cheerfully engrossed in the game, it seemed like they forgot what was actually happening. This was not about winning or losing - it was about living or dying.
"A miss in Biseokchigi will eat up a lot of time," In-ho said quietly, facing 390. "Is this supposed to help anyone stay calm?" you asked frowning. In-ho merely turned away again to continue watching the teams. What on earth was he doing?
Meanwhile, 388 had collected some pebbles from the ground, practicing Gong-gi diligently. "Dae-ho," 390 spoke up, looking back from the team on the rainbow track, to the younger male, "practice the flip."
You watched in silence, admiring the way his hands threw the small stones and caught them again with ease.
"Dae-ho?" you said quietly, catching the man's attention. "Uhm... my name," he grinned awkwardly, "Kang Dae-ho."
"Ah," you smiled in response, "Ryuk Su-Yun. Nice to meet you."
Your interaction did not go unnoticed. In-ho watched quietly, emotions bubbling up in him that he had not felt in a very long time.
So, that was why he did not catch your application for the games - you used a fake name. Probably the one you took on when you left Seoul and dropped off the grid 10 years ago. Damn it, he cursed internally, willing himself to focus on the game - just like everyone else. If only he had caught your stupid application. He would have made sure you would not participate in the games. No harm would come to you.
What were you doing there anyway?!
It was tearing him up on the inside. You should not be there. You should be outside, safe and-
Gunshots ripped him out of his thoughts - time was up, both teams were eliminated. "Oh god," you whispered, looking away from the gross scenes that were playing on the tracks.
Ever since he saw you the day before, he had been battling the urge to walk over to you and take you into his arms. God, he missed you. But you did not miss him. You did not even remember him.
It had been the first time he saw you, ever since that day of the accident. At first he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. His beautiful wife in a place like this?
But here you were, in all your glory. You were still as gorgeous as the day you two got married. Even the faint scars on your face could never change that.
"It's alright," he whispered after a long, painful silence. Slowly, he made his way over to you and as if he were pushed by an invisible force, he wrapped his arms around your shoulders, pulling you close to him.
Your breath hitched slightly; his touch was still so familiar to you, and you just wanted to melt into his embrace. Trembling hands settled on his waist before you wrapped your arms around his middle slowly. Being held by him after all these years felt so good...
Two more deafening shots rang through the arena, making you jump lightly. "What the hell," you muttered, looking over at the guard who just shot into one of the coffins. Shaking your head quickly, you took a step back. "Thank you," you mumbled, a small smile on your lips. He smiled back at you and tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear; just like he had always done it. Out of instinct, you almost leaned into his touch; he was too close. If he would continue, you would surely slip up and-
A new round started, dragging everyone's attention to the teams that were now competing in the race. Quickly, you turned away, to better see what was happening.
"I can't watch. It's making me anxious," 390 said, rubbing his forehead harshly. "They're good," you answered, unable to tear your eyes away from the five making their way around the track. They had finished four stages in record time, and even though you still remembered the dire situation you all found yourselves in, you could not help but cheer with the others. Together, you spured them on, chanting, raising your fist. Even In-ho joined in, and when they finally crossed the finish line, all of you erupted in joy, screaming from the top of your lungs. You two held onto each other, laughing and rejoicing to see the first winners of the day. Almost, as if you were not in danger.
Almost as if your life had continued like it was never disturbed in the first place.
You looked up at In-ho and allowed yourself one moment to admire him - the man you fell in love with all those years ago. The man you promised to stay with, no matter what would happen.
If only you had kept your promise.
Maybe life would not be so complicated then.

Help I'm so out of the loop, what did Dream do this time? Who was the Mangoball person? How is Connor related to any of this??
ok. ok. there is so much to explain so I'll start with the easy stuff.
after so many years, mangoball revealed themself on a post by icarus aka apollos-boyfriend. they are now a beatles fan.
god bless
okay now. sigh. dream.
you're not going to believe me but this is a condensed version.
but recently a clip surfaced from the shut up I'm talking podcast of tommy talking about how much he disliked meeting mizkif. mizkif wasn't thrilled about this. xqc called tommy cringe for it, tommy made a post making fun of xqc calling him cringe for wearing a trump shirt during the stream he did where he met trump, xqc shot back by tweeting one of tommy's standup clips and making fun of him for having an audience of mostly teenage girls. then, despite not being mentioned or involved in the conversation in any way, dream qrted xqc's tweet making fun of tommy with a meme outright calling all tommyinnit fans the r slur.
dream ended up deleting the tweet but only after a few hours or something so everyone had already seen it. he tried to defend himself on twitter, claiming that because he's autistic he's allowed to use it. this all happened very late at night in the US so the british streamers were asleep. dream also made a reddit post trying to defend himself, insulting tommy and co. and saying tommy had no backbone. next day, tubbo had a stream outright talking about how much he dislikes dream and defending tommy, while also acknowledging his own bias towards his friends.
that night, once again when the rest of the british ccs had gone to sleep, dream did a very late night stream that was basically him crashing out for 3 straight hours. he went over very cherry-picked parts of tubbo's VOD, 'explaining' himself and talking about how tommy was always such a terrible cruel friend to him (when tommy was, like, 17 mind you. he covered so many things I literally cannot remember them all but he shared private dms he's had with multiple ccs and also outright said someone shared skephalo porn art in the dsmp discord when tommy and tubbo were 16 but it was fine because the teens 'asked to be treated like adults' (??????????)
today tubbo streamed again, watching dream's stream and responding and acknowledging his own slip ups/mistakes he made while also calling dream out for a lot of the bs he said. he was also supposed to have a call on stream with dream to talk it out, but then during tubbo's stream tommy uploaded an absolutely scathing 5 minute video talking about how terrible dream has been over the years, and dream cancelled the scheduled call he had with tubbo. like if you want to watch anything from this entire mess, watch tommy's video. if you want a more full view of things, watch tubbo's VOD from today.
then quackity streamed today and everyone expected him to say something because dream also brought him up for some reason?? during his stream??? and shared private dms they had?????? but quackity is still winning the idgaf war. he just promoed some new stuff he's doing and then went "there was something else I was going to talk about but I forgot what it was. oh well, later guys!"
look this is. again. kind of condensed. the last two days have felt like ten years.
meanwhile connor has been having gold tier commentary on the whole mess on twitter, unsurprisingly.

“C’mere, doll,” Wooyoung purrs. His lips pull into a wicked smile he has reserved for you, devoid of any softness. His eyes glint as he rakes his gaze up and down your body, every bit the kingpin of the drug scene in his city.
You step forward, your heels clicking with every step you take. You don’t remember how you ended up in this position, starting as a measly nightclub owner. But you hadn’t realised your club ran right in the strip he controls, and one day you were late with rent.
When he came personally, infamous drug lord Jung Wooyoung, something about you just caught his favour. And you can’t refuse his favour, not unless you wanted your club burnt to the ground.
As you move to take a seat next to him, Wooyoung tsks, raising a hand. “Not there,” he instructs, and you hesitate, your false confidence wavering.
“Where would you like me to sit?” you ask, although you know what his answer is going to be.
A smirk plays on his lips as he takes notice of your hesitation, clearly amused by the way you’re trying to maintain some semblance of dignity. “On my lap, doll,” he commands, patting his thigh expectantly. His eyes gleam with a predatory intensity, making it clear this isn’t a request but an order from the man who holds your livelihood in his hands.
The air seems to thicken with tension as he waits for you to comply, the weight of his dominance palpable. It’s a subtle reminder of just how much power he wields, and how helpless you are against it.
You hesitate ever so slightly before moving towards him, your movements stiff. As you carefully settle yourself on the edge of his knees, you cross your ankles to try and keep some semblance of your composure.
Wooyoung narrows his eyes, displeased with the minimal contact between you two. Before you can do anything else, he grabs your hips and pulls you flush against his chest, his fingers digging into your body.
“Now, that’s better,” he murmurs, breath hot against your ear as he presses a light kiss to your temple. His hand slides up your side, splaying across your waist possessively. “You look even prettier when you’re squirming under my touch.”
Your eyes flick nervously towards the other crime bosses lining the table. Although none of them are as influential as Wooyoung, you still never would’ve expected to see them so close. As Wooyoung’s hands continue to roam your body, you try not to flinch or squirm so much, not willing to hear lewd comments or see the leering from the others.
“Your rings are cold,” you mutter in Wooyoung’s ear as you lean away from his touch ever so slightly. It’s a bid to get him to focus his attention elsewhere, although you know it’ll be in vain.
At your quiet comment, Wooyoung chuckles, the sound sending shivers down your spine. “Oh, they’ll be warmed up soon enough,” he retorts, his fingers dipping beneath the hem of your skirt to brush against the sensitive skin of your inner thigh. His touch is deliberate, meant to break your fragile attempts at appearing demure. “If you’re truly feeling chilly, maybe we should find a way to heat things up, no?”
With that, he pulls your head towards him, capturing your lips in a brutal kiss that leaves you breathless with no doubt about his intentions. His tongue invades your mouth, claiming it as his own.
Fidgeting, you turn your head to whisper to him, “There are men here…” You turn your eyes down, avoiding meeting his gaze.
“Let them watch, doll,” he purrs, his gaze lingering on yours for a moment before shifting to the assembled men. “They all know who you belong to.” Despite his words, he does have business to attend to, and he reins in his affection, though his hands still wander your body possessively.
As the meeting progresses, as much as you try to pay attention, he leans in to murmur something in your ear, reminding both you and everyone else that you’re his plaything.
When a particularly heated discussion arises, Wooyoung’s grip on your thigh tenses, his thumb rubbing circles on your skin in a twisted comfort. It’s a silent message—stay close, stay quiet, and remember your place in this world.
You keep your eyes trained on the wall, although you can still feel the stares of everyone on your body. Wooyoung’s grip tightens, his fingers digging into your thighs hard enough to leave bruises. The unspoken warning is clear; keep your eyes and hands to yourself, lest he shows exactly why he’s the kingpin.
As the meeting winds down, Wooyoung rises to his feet, pulling you up with him. He keeps a firm hold on your waist, guiding you through the crowded room, the men parting for him. Once outside, he releases you abruptly, stepping back to light a cigarette.
“You did well tonight, doll,” he remarks, exhaling a plume of smoke. “Remember, you’re mine to flaunt or hide, whenever I please.” With that, he turns to leave, expecting you to follow without question.
Before you can move to follow, a hand grabs your wrists and yanks you back. You come face to face with a face you’ve seen on papers Wooyoung leaves out rarely—an up and coming drug lord, one new enough to not realise exactly how damning it can be to cross Wooyoung. You quickly yank your arm out of his grip, holding back from striking the man in his neck. “Now, hold on,” he grins like a cat waiting to swallow a bird. “Why don’t we share?”
Wooyoung’s eyes narrow to slits as he spins around, his expression deadly calm. “Sharing isn’t exactly my style,” he drawls, taking a slow drag from his cigarette. “Especially when it comes to what’s mine.”
His gaze flickers to the man holding you captive, a silent threat hanging in the air. After a tense moment, you’re released, the man stepping back with a sheepish grin.
“I was just joking, kingpin. No need to get testy,” he says, holding up his hands in mock surrender.
Wooyoung watches him for another beat before nodding curtly. “See that you keep it that way,” he warns before turning back to you. “Let’s go, doll. We have business to attend to.”
As we start to leave again, the man mutters under his breath, apparently just wishing for death, “Why bring your plaything along if we can’t use it? Might as well ask us to lick your ass.”
Unfortunately for him, Wooyoung’s hearing is sharp.
His expression darkens further at his subordinate’s crude remark, his grip on your arm tightening almost painfully. “You want a piece of my action, huh?” he sneers, spinning to face the insolent man once more.
Before you can even react, Wooyoung’s fist connects with the lord’s jaw, sending him crashing to the ground. The sound of cracking bone echoes as he delivers a vicious kick to his ribs, pinning him beneath his boot.
“You forget your place, fool,” Wooyoung snaps, his face contorting with fury. “My ‘plaything’ is off-limits to every last one of you. Touch her again, and you’ll wish for death before you even have time to blink.”
With a final, brutal stop, Wooyoung lends down and presses the butt of his cigarette to the lord’s forehead, branding him with shame before flicking the ashes onto the floor and straightening up.
“Apologies for the interruption, doll. Let’s get out of here before someone else decides to try me,” he hums, his voice softening until it’s almost unrecognisable.
He leads you away from the scene, his pace quick and purposeful. The silence is heavy, the tension from before still simmering in the air. As you reach his car parked a block away, Wooyoung finally speaks, his voice low and measured. “That was a mistake, letting him get under my skin like that. But you saw how quickly I dealt with him, right? Don’t worry, no one touches you without my permission.” He glances at you sidelong, his eyes intense.
You nod shakily, legs trembling from the biting winter wind. “I know…I just wish you wouldn’t lose your temper like that,” you mutter. His bursts of anger always scare you, but Wooyoung’s still riled up and your timing was wrong.
His grip on your elbow tightens, his knuckles whitening as he pulls you closer. “You think I enjoy losing control?” he snarls, lips curling. “I do it to protect what’s mine, including you. It’s my responsibility as the kingpin. How do you think you’ve remained safe? If you can’t handle that, maybe you should find somewhere else to be.” There’s a challenge in his tone, daring you to defy him.
You stumble a little, heels slipping in the ice as you shake your head quickly. You can’t afford to lose his favour. “I meant nothing of it,” you squeak out, shivering at both his intense stare and the wind blowing through your bones. You regret forgoing a coat. “I’m just worried for you.”
Wooyoung heaves a sigh, his expression softening slightly at your words, some of the aggression draining from his stance. He reaches out to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing over your chilled skin. “Don’t worry about me. I can take care of myself. Just focus on staying by my side, and let me handle the rest. You care too much about people, with disregard for yourself.” Oh, how false his words are.
He steps closer, enveloping you in his warmth as he wraps an arm around your shoulders. “Come on, get in the car and warm up. We need to head home to get you out of the cold.” He guides you forward, his tone reassuring, but there’s an underlying edge that suggests he won’t tolerate any further dissent.
You try to keep yourself from tripping as you hurry forward to slide into the passenger seat. Your face is warm from his touch, but your heart is twisted at his sweet words. The back-and-forth of his actions always confused you, and today is no exception. A constant question in your mind is why he keeps you around.
As Wooyoung slips into the driver’s seat, he pauses for a moment, looking down at you with an unreadable expression.
“Get comfortable, doll. We’ve got a long ride to the apartment,” he says, his voice a low rumble that seems to vibrate through the air.
Once you’re settled and the car is heated up, he pulls out of the parking spot, merging seamlessly into the late-night traffic. The silence between you stretches, punctuated only by the hum of the tires and the occasional blare of a horn.
Your hand twitches as you debate whether to indulge yourself and reach out to hold his hand resting on the console. It’s not wise to entangle yourself further into his web, but as much as you know you shouldn’t, you crave his touch as well.
Wooyoung notices your hesitation, his piercing gaze flickering to your hand before returning to the road. A smirk plays at the corner of his mouth as he senses your inner turmoil.
“After all these months, you still can’t decide whether to bite or run, hmm?” he muses, his tone laced with amusement and a hint of something else you can’t place. “It’s cute, really.”
Without looking away from the road, he lifts his free hand, extending his fingers invitingly. “Come on, doll. Go ahead.”
Tentatively, you reach out to interlock your fingers with his, enjoying the warmth his hand brings to you. As soon as your hands connect, Wooyoung’s thumb begins to rub gentle circles, applying gentle pressure. “There you are, doll. Just relax,” he coos, his voice dripping with honeyed persuasion.
His touch sends a shiver down your spine, the sensation both soothing and electrifying. You can’t help but lean into his side, craving more of his comforting heat.
As the miles fly by, Wooyoung continues to play with your hand, his caresses gradually becoming bolder. His fingers dance across your palm, tracing intricate patterns that leave goosebumps in their wake.
Despite the intimacy of the gesture, there’s always a quiet reminder in the back of your mind that he’s a dangerous man, and that in his world, you belong to him. Both body and soul.
-
Weeks pass, and the nightclub is hosting a private party for Wooyoung’s closest associates. Instead of attending as an owner, you’re Wooyoung’s guest. It’s almost embarrassing to be seen as this by your employees, but there’s enough liquor in your stomach that it doesn’t bother you as much as it should.
Wooyoung stands beside you, his arm slung casually around your shoulders as he surveys the crowded room. The dim lighting casts a flattering glow on his features, making him look every inch the powerful kingpin he is.
You’re doing great, doll. The place looks amazing tonight,” he praises, his lips curling into a smile. “My boys are enjoying themselves.”
He nods towards a group of suited men, their clothing a stark contrast to the colourful lights and their wives’ pretty dresses. They’re clearly mafia men, and the way they watch the room with calculating gazes makes it clear they’re always on high alert.
Wooyoung leans in closer, his breath tickling your ear as he whispers, “And don’t forget, you’re my doll tonight. So behave yourself and make sure everyone knows it.”
You nod happily, the alcohol in your system making you more responsive to his commands. Although you usually do end up bending to his will, there’s always pushback at first. Tonight, however, you’re content with being a good doll.
Wooyoung smiles fondly, chuckling low in his throat as he pulls you closer. “That’s more like it, sweetheart. I like seeing you happy and compliant,” he purrs, his fingers trailing lightly down your arm.
As the night wears on, Wooyoung keeps a possessive grip on you, ensuring everyone present knows you’re his. He introduces you to his associates as his “wife”, the endearment rolling off his tongue with a casual ease that makes your stomach flutter.
When a particularly bold associate approaches, thinking he can steal your attention, Wooyoung’s reaction is swift and decisive. He slides an arm around your waist, pulling you flush against him with an eyebrow raised and a sharp statement on his tongue. “Hands off. She’s mine.”
The man backs off, and Wooyoung turns his attention back to you, a smug grin playing on his lips. “See, doll? No need to worry, or fight for yourself. Just remember, I’m always going to protect you.”
He guides you towards the bar, ordering another round of drinks for you. As the bartender prepares the cocktails, Wooyoung’s hand finds its way to your hip, squeezing gently. “It’s a successful party,” he informs you, his tone businesslike despite the gleam in his eye. “But after this, we’ll celebrate in style…privately.”
His words leave no room for argument, not that you want to. He’s been in such a good mood since the last investment meeting with the other mafia families, and you’d like to try and take advantage of this rare occasion.
You nod agreeable, face flushed warm as you lean in to press your cheek against his. “Okay,” you hum, a slur to your words. “Want me to clear a room here or go back to th’ apartment?”
Wooyoung’s expression morphs into a quiet amusement at your state, a glint sparking in his eyes. “Leave the club to my people. We’ll head back to the penthouse,” he instructs, his voice low and husky.
As he steers you towards the exit, Wooyoung’s hand never leaves your lower back, guiding you with a firm yet gentle touch. Once outside, he flags down a waiting limousine and helps you inside before sliding in beside you.
During the short ride, the tension between you builds, the air thick with unspoken desires. As soon as the car pulls up to the building, Wooyoung opens the door and assists you out, his strong arms wrapping around you to support your weight.
Inside the lavish penthouse, he hands you a glass of water, sobering you up a little more before leading you straight to the bedroom, closing the door behind you with a resolute click.
You smile dopily at him, the alcohol flushing itself out of your system but the high of a party still lingering in your bones. Wooyoung’s gaze rakes over your dishevelled appearance, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Looks like someone had a bit too much fun tonight,” he teases, his voice laced with amusement.
He starts to undress you slowly, his fingers deftly working to free yourself of the dress. As the fabric falls away, revealing your body, he lets out a low whistle of approval.
“You look delicious like this doll,” he murmurs, his hands skimming your bare skin, sending shivers down your spine. “All pretty and pouting for me.”
With deliberate slowness, he peels off his own clothes exposing his chiseled physique to your eager gaze. Once naked, he pulls you into his arms, pressing his hardening length against your lower stomach as he claims your mouth in a searing kiss.
Happily, you let your mouth drop open for him to take from, whining quietly as your hands tug lightly at his long hair. He groans into the kiss, his tongue diving deep to claim every inch of your mouth. As he deepens the kiss, he walks you backwards until your legs hit the edge of the bed, before gently lowering you into the plush mattress.
Straddling your hips, he breaks the kiss just long enough to trail his lips along your jawline and down the column of your throat. “I’ve wanted you all night, baby,” he admits, his hot breath fanning over your skin.
His hands roam your body, mapping out every inch of you with a reverent touch. His cups your breasts, thumbs brushing over your nipples, coaxing needy moans from your parted lips. His touch is gentle, and you crave it.
“Tell me how bad you want it,” Wooyoung demands, his voice rough with desire. “Tell me you’re mine, completely and utterly.”
“I’m yours, completely and utterly,” you parrot, before mirroring his title for you at the party. “Please, ‘husband’. I want you so bad, Wooyoung.”
A triumphant smirk plays on Wooyoung’s lips as he hears your plea. “Good girl,” he praises, his words tinged with dominance. “Now, be a good wife and spread those pretty legs for me.”
As soon as you do so, he settles between your thighs, the tip of his erection teasing your slick entrance. You can feel the heat radiating from his body, mingling with your own feverish arousal.
“I’m going to fuck you so hard, you won’t remember your own name,” he promises, his voice a husky growl. With that, he thrusts forward, burying himself to the hilt in one smooth motion. A guttural moan escapes him as he savours the wet heat enveloping his cock.
You moan in tandem, back arching as he stretches you out so well. “Ah– please,” you whine.
Wooyoung sets a relentless pace, his hips snapping forward with each powerful thrust, smacking against your cunt with wet sounds. The bed creaks beneath you, the sound punctuated by your cries of pleasure and his deep groans.
Leaning down, he captures your mouth in another bruising kiss, swallowing your moans as he pounds into you with increasing intensity. One of his large hands grips your thigh, using it as leverage to drive himself even deeper.
When he breaks the kiss, he nips and sucks at your neck, marking you as his. “Look at me, baby,” he commands, eyes blazing with hunger. “Watch me while I claim this pussy and mark it as mine.
His gaze locks onto your face, the raw lust in his expression sending a thrill of excitement coursing through your veins.
You slowly raise your eyes to meet his as your hips stutter and your eyes well up with tears from the please. “Wooyoung– ah–” you moan his name repeatedly like a prayer on your lips.
The sight of tears glistening in your eyes only spurs Wooyoung on, his thrusts becoming more erratic and forceful. He leans down, his forehead resting against yours as he pants heavily.
“That’s right, baby. I’m your ‘husband’, your master,” he growls, his voice strained with the effort of holding back his impending release. “This cunt belongs to me, understand?”
To emphasise his point, he reaches down and rubs tight circles over your clit, the added stimulation pushing you closer to the edge. His movements become more targeted, hitting that spot inside you with each snap of his hips. “Come for me, doll. Let me feel this sweet pussy clench around me,” he demands, his thumb pressing insistently against your sensitive bud.
It doesn’t take much before you come easily with a shriek, creaming around his cock as you squeeze around him like a vice. It’s almost like you’re sucking him in deeper, and it triggers his own release. Wooyoung throws his head back with a guttural moan as he presses his hips against yours impossibly close. His cock pulses and throbs, shooting thick ropes of searing hot come into your cunt.
“Fuck– take it all, you perfect, pretty wife,” he snarls, grinding against you to prolong your pleasure. Wave after wave of pleasure crash over him, his body shuddering with the aftershocks.
As he finally relaxes, he leans on top of you, careful to not crush you with his weight. He nuzzles into the crook of your neck, placing soft kisses along your sweat-dampened skin between heavy pants. “Thank you, doll,” he murmurs, his voice still rough but a hint of gentleness in it.
You hum, turning in his arms to smile at him. The alcohol is almost out of your system now, and it’s been replaced with a warmth in your belly from his sweet treatment. Your hand moves to cup his cheek gently as you press a kiss to the top of his head.
“I wish you were like this all the time,” you hum, more to yourself than anything. Maybe it would’ve been easier to love him.
Wooyoung stiffens slightly at your words, a flicker of something—Guilt? Regret?—passing over his features before it’s quickly masked. He rolls off of you, lying on his back and staring up at the ceiling.
“You know I can’t be soft all the time, doll,” he says, his tone carefully neutral. “The world I live in, it requires a certain ruthlessness. But this…” he gestures between the two of you “this is real. You’re the only one who gets to see this side of me.”
His words shock you, a sincere admission of the feelings he hides. He turns his head to look at you, his expression unreadable. “Don’t ask for things you don’t fully understand, doll. My love may not be conventional, but it’s not false. I protect what’s mine, even if I have to do it in ways you don’t always like.”
You nod slowly, hurt flickering in your eyes, although it mixes with an understanding. “I know, Wooyoung. Just…grant it to me in private. Please.”
Wooyoung sighs deeply, running a hand through his dishevelled hair. After a moment of contemplation, he sits up and pulls you into his arms, cradling you against his chest.
“Alright, doll. I’ll try,” he agrees softly, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of your head. “But you have to promise me something in return. Promise me you’ll never leave me, no matter what happens. Out there in that cruel world, you’re my only light in the darkness.”
His arms tighten around you possessively, as if afraid you might disappear. “I know I’m not an easy man to be with, but you’re stuck with me now. We’re bound together, for better or worse,” he states like it’s what makes the world go round, tilting your chin up with a finger to get you to meet his intense gaze.
You smile at him, eyes shining with an unspoken emotion. Although there are times you question his feelings, moments like these remind you just how much he truly does love you, in his own way. Guilt gnaws at your gut, but it mixes with the warmth of your misplaced love, and you lean up to press a kiss against his lips. “I’ll stay,” you murmur. “I’ll stay.”
Wooyoung returns the kiss with a tenderness that belies his usual rough exterior, pouring all his pent-up emotions into the gentle caress of his lips against yours. When he finally pulls away, his dark eyes are filled with a rare vulnerability.
“Thank you,” he whispers, his voice thick with genuine gratitude and affection. “I know I don’t say it nearly enough, and I show it even less, but…I love you, doll. More than anything in my fucked up world.”
He strokes your cheek with the back of his hand, his touch gentle. “Get some rest now, baby. Tomorrow’s a new day, and I want you well rested.” WIth that, he settles back against the pillows, pulling you flush against his side.
You curl into him, throwing an arm around him as you press your face into his neck. “I love you too. My love,” you murmur, as much as it pains you to admit.
A contented rumble emanates from Wooyoung’s chest as he wraps his strong arms around you, holding you close and enjoying your warmth. “That’s right, my sweet doll,” he murmurs, his voice a low, soothing purr. “Sleep now, and dream of a world where we love each other freely.”
Despite his tone’s roughness, there’s a tenderness in his words and actions, a loving protectiveness that you’ve craved for so long. You feel cherished, and as it overwhelms the sadness in your heart, you drift off to sleep, lulled by the steady beat of his heart and the comforting weight of his arms around you.
As your breath evens out, Wooyoung remains awake, watching your face with a fierce devotion. His mind wanders to the enemies he must confront and the dangers that lurk in every shadow. But for now, in this quiet moment of peace, he allows himself to enjoy the feeling of having you by his side.
Gently, he brushes a stray lock of hair from your face, his fingertips tracing the curve of your jaw. “I’d do anything to keep you,” he vows under his breath, a claim over your heart. “Anything at all, to make you mine.”
With that thought, he closes his eyes, his dreams filled with visions of a future where you’re safe, and forever his perfect doll. A world where his darkness is gone and your love is pure.
-
When morning arrives, you roll over only to be met with an empty bed and a note on the bedside table.
‘Good morning, doll.
I had to take care of some business today, but don’t worry. I’ll be back soon. In the meantime, treat yourself and have a bath. We’ll have a busy evening ahead of us.
Wooyoung’
There’s a faint scent of his cologne lingering on the paper, a tangible reminder of his presence even though he’s not here with you. You can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and trepidation, wondering what pulled him away so suddenly. Nevertheless, you decide to follow his advice and indulge in a leisurely morning routine.
As much as your heart aches waking up alone, the bath relaxes you, and you fall fast asleep, sinking deeper into the water.
Hours pass unnoticed as you nap peacefully in the warm, fragrant bathwater. Each soft breath makes your body relax more and more as the sun starts to set.
Just as you begin to stir, a sudden commotion erupts downstairs, the cacophony of raised voices and scuffling feet jolting you awake. Startled, you sit up abruptly, sending water splashing over the edge of the tub. The cool air hits your damp skin, causing you to shiver involuntarily.
Concerned, you quickly dry off and slip into a robe, hurrying down the hall to investigate the source of the disturbance. As you reach the corner, a hulking figure emerges from the shadows, blocking your path.
The imposing man steps forward, revealing a bruised and bloody face, one that is vaguely familiar. He’s clearly been in a fight, and judging by the menacing glint in his eye, he’s far from finished.
“Well, well, well,” he sneers, his gaze raking over you with a lecherous hunger. “Looks like the boss’s little puppet is all grown up and ripe for the taking.”
His words spark panic in you, but before you can react, he lunges at you, grabbing a fistful of your robe and yanking you hard towards him. His hot breath fans your hair as he growls, “Seems Jung has been neglecting his duties. Time to show you what real men can do.”
You struggle against his iron grip, but he’s far stronger than you. You don’t want to go back, and you scream, “Wooyoung–” before stomping on the man’s foot and biting into his hand in a bid to get away.
When his grip loosens, you book it to the bedroom, diving for the loaded gun Wooyoung keeps in the bedside table.
Bloodied and enraged, the attacker gives chase, his heavy footsteps thundering down the hall as you frantically search for the gun. Just as your fingers close around the cold metal, he slams into the doorframe, leaning against it heavily.
“Foolish bitch,” he snarls, reaching out to grab at you once more but missing with his clumsy movement. “You think a little toy like that will save you? You belong back with us.”
His words confuse you, but you don’t falter, whirling around in a flash and aiming the gun at his head. “Stay back! I won’t hesitate to use this!”
The intruder scoffs, unfazed by the weapon. “Oh, I’m shaking in my boots. Go ahead, shoot me. It’ll just make the boss angrier. You’ve stalled for too long.”
Your finger twitches but you don’t shoot, not yet. Deep down, you realise what he’s talking about, and your arms shake, but your aim remains steady. “I’ll take Wooyoung’s wrath over returning,” you snap. “I’m his doll.”
The man’s smirk fathers for a split second at your declaration, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his battered features. He seems to weigh his options, calculating the risks and rewards.
“I’ll give you credit, sweetheart,” he says slowly. “You’ve got spirit. But that won’t save you from me, or the boss. And it certainly won’t save you from anyone who wants a piece of whatever Jung owns.”
He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his movements measured and menacing. “Now, either you hand over that gun and come with me willingly, or I’ll take it by force and make you regret ever double crossing me or the boss.”
As he advances, you find yourself backed against the wall, the gun still clutched in your white-knuckled hands. Your mind races, desperate for a solution, but the reality of your situation is grim.
Just as the man reaches out, you fire a bullet straight between his eyes. Blood splatters across the room as the intruder crumples to the ground, dead before he even hits the ground. The acrid smell of gunpowder fills the air, mixing with the metallic tang of blood. And as the gunshot rings in your ears, the door crashes open to reveal Wooyoung, blood streaming down his face and his nose crooked, but alive.
For a long moment, Wooyoung stands frozen, his gaze locked on the lifeless body at your feet. Then, with a low growl, he stalks towards you, his eyes blazing with a fierce protectiveness.
“What the fuck happened while I was gone?” he demands, his voice low and dangerous. “Who sent this bastard?”
Before you can respond, he grabs your chin, forcing you to meet his intense stare. “And why the hell did you think you needed to defend yourself? You’re supposed to stay hidden and safe, not play hero with my fucking guns.” His grip tightens, a hint of fear staining the anger in his voice and gaze.
Your eyes dart between him and the body, the adrenaline wearing off and the weight of what you’ve done settling in your stomach. “I…I didn’t know where you were,” you try to explain, your voice sounding foreign even to yourself. “I killed a man. I killed him…I’m a murder.”
As you start to panic, your voice raises in pitch, hands shaking as you drop the gun. Your knees start to buckle. With a swift motion, Wooyoung catches you as you collapse, holding you upright against his broad chest. He strokes your hair soothingly, his touch gentle despite the turmoil raging in his eyes.
“It’s okay, baby,” he coos, his voice a stark contrast to the fury that had consumed him mere moments ago. “You didn’t murder anyone. This son of a bitch had it coming. You defended yourself and me.”
He presses a kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering as he tries to calm your frantic heartbeat. “I should’ve been here to protect you, or brought you with me. Instead, I left you vulnerable, and this is what happens.”
His own breathing grows ragged, the weight of what happened finally crushing him. “We need to get out of here, clean up this mess. Can you stand for me, doll? I need you strong right now.”
You scramble up, leaning against the wall to steady yourself. You can’t keep your stare off the body, even as Wooyoung is hurriedly stuffing a handful of belongings in a duffle bag. He tosses fabric—a dress—in your face. “Put it on. You’re still in just a robe. We don’t have time for anything else,” he commands.
You quickly follow his instruction even as your mind whirs. As you slip into the dress, Wooyoung’s eyes roam over your stiff and stilted movements, a mix of concern and possessiveness flashing across his features. Satisfied that you’re covered, he nods curtly and zips up the duffle bag.
“Let’s go,” he orders, gripping your wrist firmly and leading you out of the room and then the penthouse. The sound of sirens wail in the distance, growing louder with each passing second.
He hustles you through the darkened streets, keeping to the shadows as they navigate the labyrinthine alleys of the city. The cool night air does little to calm your racing heart, and you can feel the tension from Wooyoung radiating through his taut muscles.
After what feels like an eternity, he finally slows, guiding you into a nondescript building. It appears abandoned from the outside, but as Wooyoung ushers you inside, it becomes clear that it serves as a secret hideout. The space is sparse but well-equipped, with surveillance monitors lining one wall and a cache of weapons mounted on another.
Wooyoung sets the duffle bag down and turns to face you, his expression grave. “This is our safe house,” he explains, running a hand through his messy hair. “It’s where we go when shit hits the fan.”
He steps closer, cupping your face in his calloused hands. His thumbs brush over your cheekbones, wiping away the tears you hadn’t realised were falling. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there to protect you,” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. “That will never happen again. I swear it on my life.”
Wooyoung’s words hang heavy in the air, a promise forged in the heat of adrenaline and desperation. He pulls you into a fierce embrace, burying his face in the crook of your neck as if seeking solace in your warmth. For a long moment, he simply holds you, his breaths uneven and ragged against your skin. When he finally lifts his head, his eyes burn with an intensity that steals your breath.
“I need you to stay here, lock yourself in the back room until morning,” he instructs, his voice low and commanding, leaving no room for disagreement. “I’ll deal with the aftermath of tonight, but you’re safe now. That’s all that matters.”
He brushes a stray lock of hair behind your ear, his touch gentle. “Rest, doll. I’ll be back before you know it.”
As he turns to leave, you can’t help yourself and reach out to take his wrist, a pleading look in your eyes. “Please promise me,” you beg. “Promise me you’ll come back.”
At your desperate plea, Wooyoung’s resolve falters. He looks down at your hands wrapped around your wrist, then back up at your tear streaked face. A pained expression crosses his features before he forces himself to nod.
“I promise, doll,” he vows, his voice rough with emotion. “I’ll come back to you, no matter what. You’re mine, and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep you safe.” With those words, he leans down and captures your lips in a searing kiss, pouring all his love, fear, and determination into the passionate embrace. When he finally breaks away, he presses a final, tender kiss to your forehead.
“I mean it,” he whispers fiercely. “Wait for me, and I’ll return to you.”
As soon as he exits with one last glance towards you, you quickly follow his instruction, locking yourself in the back bedroom and shoving a dresser in front of the door for good measure. While you wait for his return, your mind wanders back to the moment you shot the man, and a shiver runs down your spine.
Hours pass in tense silence, the only sounds being the distant hum of the city and the occasional creak of the old building settling around you. You pace the cramped confines of the room, your thoughts jumbled mess of fear, guilt, and anticipation.
The memory of pulling the trigger replays in your mind like a macabre filmstrip, each detail etched into your brain with painful clarity. The feel of the gun’s weight in your hand, the click of the safety disengaging, the sudden bloom of crimson as the bullet tore through flesh and bone…
A cold sweat breaks out across your skin, and you wrap your arms around yourself, trying to shake off the haunting images. But they linger, refusing to be banished. Just as despair begins to creep in, you head the sounds of footsteps approaching, followed by the rattle of keys unlocking the door.
When it tries to open, but thuds against the dresser instead, you can practically see Wooyoung’s exasperated but fond expression in his voice. “Really, doll?”
You quickly rush over to shove the drawers away, thankful for a distraction from your spiralling thoughts. Wooyoung pushes past the now-cleared barrier, his face a mask of exhaustion and relief. The blood is still on his face, but his nose is set back into place, a bruise blooming over the mottled skin. He cans the room, ensuring you’re unharmed before letting out a sigh and collapsing on the edge of the cot.
“You scared the hell out of me,” he chides, reaching out to tug you onto his lap. His strong arms envelop you, cradling you close as he buries his face in your hair. “I thought…God, I thought I’d lost you.”
He rocks you gently, his breaths evening out as the adrenaline fades. After a moment, he tilts your chin up, forcing you to meet his gaze. “We need to talk about what happened,” he says, his tone serious but not unkind. “But first, let’s get you cleaned up and sleep. You’ve been through enough for one night.”
You lean into his touch, body relaxing despite your racing heart and mind. “We’re safe?” you want to confirm.
Wooyoung nods solemnly, his fingers tracing patterns on your arm like he did in his car not even a month ago. “Yes, we’re safe. The body’s been taken care of, and the police won’t find anything linking us to the scene.”
He pauses, choosing his next words carefully. “There might be some repercussions within our organisation, but I’ve got everything under control. You don’t need to worry about that right now.” Leaning in, he places a soft kiss on your temple. “All that matters is that you’re here with me, alive and unharmed. That’s all that matters.”
At his reassurance, your lips wobble, and that’s the only warning he gets before you burst into tears, sobs wracking your body. You can’t even form coherent words as the events of the day hit
Wooyoung’s arms tighten around you as you break down, holding you close while you cry. He doesn’t try to comfort you with empty words or false promises; instead, he lets you pour out your emotions, offering only the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and the solid warmth of his body.
After a while, your sobs gradually subside, leaving you gasping for air and clinging to him like a lifeline. Wooyoung strokes your hair soothingly, his own eyes red-rimmed from the stress of the night.
“Shh, it’s okay,” he murmurs, his voice a low rumble. “Let it out, baby. You’re safe now. I’ve got you.”
He waits patiently until your breathing evens out, then gently wipes the tears from your cheeks with his thumbs. Since you’ve calmed down more, Wooyoung helps you stand and leads you to the small bathroom tucked away in the corner of the room. He starts running warm water in the shower, gesturing for you to undress and step into the stream.
As you wash away the grime and blood of the night, he keeps watch, his eyes never leaving you. When you emerge, dripping and shivering, he wraps you in a towel and dries you off himself, his hands gentle yet possessive.
After you’ve dried off properly and changed into a set of clean clothes, he brings you to the tiny kitchen area, making a warm meal for you. As you eat, he sits beside you, occasionally feeding you bites from his own plate when you’re too exhausted to manage to eat more than a few spoonfuls.
“‘M sorry,” you mumble, eyelids heavy as you fight to stay awake and chew mindlessly. “I fucked it up, didn’t I?”
Wooyoung sets his fork down, his expression melting into one of sadness as he reaches out to cup your cheek. “No, baby, you didn’t fuck it up. You did what needed to be done to protect yourself. I’m proud of you, doll.” He leans in, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead before pushing your bowl away. “Come on, let’s get you to bed. We both need rest after tonight.”
Your eyes flutter shut as you lean into his soft touch. “Okay,” you mumble, yawn escaping your mouth. “I’m sorry,” the apology leaves your mouth again without thinking, and Wooyoung chuckles with no amusement, the sound vibrating against your skin.
“Don’t apologise, sweetheart. Your safety always comes first, okay?” He stands, lifting you effortlessly into his arms. “Besides, you’re mine. Shouldn’t I be the one handling everything? Rest tonight, doll.”
Carrying you to the small bed, he lays you down gently and pulls the covers over your chilled form before climbing in beside you. His arms wrap around your waist, tugging you back against his warm chest. “I’ve got you, doll,” he whispers, his breath warm against your ear and his heartbeat lulling you into a relaxed state. “Sleep now, and dream of better days.”
As your eyes shut and sleep claims you, Wooyoung remains vigilant, his eyes never fully closing as he watches over you. Despite the weariness etched on his face, his grip on you remains firm, a silent promise of protection.
Hours later, the first light of dawn creeps through the grimy windows, casting a pale glow over the room. Wooyoung’s hold on you loosens slightly as exhaustion finally overtakes him, and he drifts off into a fitful slumber, still cradling you close. The sounds of the waking city filter in, a distant reminder of the world beyond this cramped sanctuary. But for now, in the quiet moments before reality sets in, a fleeting peace is found.
-
A few hours later, you awaken, blinking away the sunlight shining into your eyes. Wooyoung stirs beside you, your minimal movements waking him up easily.
He sits up, stretching his arms above his head and yawning before turning to regard you with a serious expression. “We need to discuss what happened last night,” he begins, his voice calm yet authoritative. “You were targeted because of our closeness, which means our situation just got a little more complicated.”
There’s a long pause as Wooyoung studies your expression intently. “Doll. I need you to be truthful with me. Did you know that man…the one you had killed?” His gaze is piercing, searching for an answer in your face. In this moment, he looks every inch the powerful kingpin, but there’s a vulnerability lurking beneath the surface—a fear that you had betrayed him, turned your back on him.
Your hesitation gives him the answer he needs, and you flinch, waiting for his usual anger to snap, but there’s a long silence. When you crack your eyes open, Wooyoung’s gaze hasn’t left your face. He’s waiting for your explanation.
“He…he’s part of your rival’s gang. The one I was a part of.” Your voice grows more and more timid as you continue talking, but Wooyoung still does not make a noise. “I was selected to take the place of the old owner of the nightclub, and my job was to try and feed information. When you took favour to me, they thought it would be a good opportunity. But I changed my mind at that point. I didn’t want to betray you, and I swear I didn’t do anything against you for the last few years—not since I was allowed to attend meetings. I didn’t want to betray you because–” you cut yourself off.
A flicker of something you can’t place crosses Wooyoung’s features, replaced swiftly by his usual stoic mask, making you wonder if you were just seeing things. “Good,” he says simply, before leaning in and pinning you still with his gaze. “Because I’m not letting you go anymore, no matter what happens.”
He rises from the bed, extending a hand to help you up. “First things first, we need to get you some proper clothes and supplies. Can’t have my doll looking like that, now can we?”
The smirk on his face is playful, but there’s an underlying steel to his words. This is a man who always gets what he wants, and right now, he wants to see you looking the part he wants you to play—a symbol of his power and status, and the failed attempt to rattle his spot as kingpin.
“Come on, let’s get moving,” he urges, not letting you wonder about his unbothered attitude at your confession. You let him lead you towards the door with a firm grip on your hand, just happy he hasn’t killed you on the spot, and is returning to his confident self.
“Wooyoung…” you can’t help but to ask as he unlocks his car parked behind the old building “...I understand if you can’t trust me, so you don’t have to answer. But what was the business you were taking care of? It said in the note you left for me last night, and then when you came, you were hurt. What happened?”
Wooyoung slides into the driver’s seat, starting the engine with a smooth hum. As he navigates through the early morning traffic, he glances at you sidelong, his expression unreadable. “I went to see my associates. And it got a little out of control. Nothing to worry about.” He drums his fingers on the steering wheel, a habit that betrays his agitation. “Last night was a warning, doll. Someone thinks they can challenge my authority and test loyalties. But they picked the wrong man.”
A muscle ticks in his jaw as he accelerates through a yellow light. “Rest assured, I’ll deal with them accordingly. But for now, let’s focus on getting you settled and comfortable. That’s my priority.”
There’s a subtle emphasis on the word ‘my’, a reminder that, despite the lie you had lived, Wooyoung will always put your needs first. At least, that’s how Wooyoung sees it.
As you arrive at a high-end boutique, Wooyoung parks the car and rounds the hood to open your door, offering his hand to assist you. Inside, he browses the racks with an expert eye, selecting pieces that showcase your body in the most flattering way possible.
“You look stunning, doll,” he murmurs, helping you into a sleek black dress that flows around your figure like second nature. The material drapes elegantly across your hips and thighs, the neckline plunging just enough to make his pulse quicken.
He steps back to admire his handiwork, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. “Perfect.”
You smile slowly at him, finally feeling more and more secure in your relationship with him, the murder you committed pushed to the back of your mind. “As you wish it, I shall be whatever you desire.”
Wooyoung’s eyes darken at your words, a thrill of possession coursing through him. He steps closer, his large frame enveloping you as he trails his fingers down the side of your neck, leaving a tingling path in his wake.
“Indeed,” he rumbles, his breath hot against your ear. “My beautiful, obedient doll. Always dressed to please me, ready to fulfill her duties.” His hand slips lower, grazing the swell of your hip before settling on your thigh. The contact is electric, sending sparks dancing along your nerve endings.
“But remember, doll, you’re mine, body and soul. Don’t you ever forget that,” he continues, his voice low and menacing. With that, he releases you, stepping back to survey his work once more. “Now, shall we continue on, my dear?”
Your face flushed, you nod. “Yes, Wooyoung.” In moments like these, it’s easy to pretend that the two of you are a normal married couple, and it’s somewhat comforting. “Where to next?”
Wooyoung leans down to intertwine his fingers with yours. “Come, there’s a surprise for you. One to mark you as mine, truly and irrevocably.” He leads you to a jewelers, the woman behind the counter handing him a beautiful glass case.
Inside, a delicate necklace adorned with an intricate diamond pattern sits atop the velvet cloth. As he opens it and fastens it around your neck, his fingers press into your skin. Your breath catches in your throat. “Thank you, Wooyoung,” you gasp, quiet awe in your voice. You twist and lean in to peck his lips gently.
His lips curve into a smug smile as he accepts your kiss and your thanks, his arm snaking around your waist to pull you flush against him. “Anytime, my doll,” he murmurs against your mouth, his own lips brushing yours with a hint of hunger.
For a moment, he lets himself indulge in the fantasy, imagining that his is indeed a relationship built on love and affection, rather than power plays and manipulation. But reality soon snaps him back to attention, and he steps away, clearing his throat. “Let’s finish up here and head back to the penthouse,” he suggests, his tone returning to its usual commanding cadence. “I have some business to attend to, and it requires you to be by my side.”
It’s an unspoken reminder that your safety depends on your compliance and proximity to him. He still hasn’t quite given you a reaction to all the truth you had revealed to him. You nod with no further comment, reaching out to grasp his hand quietly as he leads you through the district.
Wooyoung glances at your pensive face, his eyes roving over your features. “You look stunning, doll. Like the queen you are,” he compliments you quietly, the last soft moment he allows you. And with that, the spell is broken.
As you step out of the area, Wooyoung’s demeanour shifts, his gaze hardening as he scans the\ surroundings. His grip on your hand tightens, a silent warning.
“We need to move,” he growls, ushering you to the awaiting car. “I’ve received intel that someone may be tracking your movements. Can’t be too careful these days.”
Once inside the car, he checks his phone with a frown, clearly displeased by whatever message he’s reading. Without saying anything, he speeds off, carrying you both towards the towering skyscraper that serves as Wooyoung’s second lair. The tension in the air is palpable, a stark contrast to the earlier intimacy.
As the two of you walk into the opulent penthouse, Wooyoung’s presence commands every inch of space. The cityscape stretches out before you, a glittering canvas painted by the setting sun. “Welcome home, my doll,” he declares, gesturing grandly to the lavish interior. “Make yourself comfortable while I attend to some urgent matters.”
He strides purposefully towards his study, pausing to glance at you over his shoulder. “We’ll discuss your role in this mess later. For now, sit tight.”
With that, he disappears behind closed doors, leaving you alone amidst the splendor of his domain. The weight of his expectations settles upon you, a constant reminder of the delicate balance between your roles as lover and pawn in his game of power.
The couch is comfy, but it does nothing to soothe your nerves at Wooyoung’s words. As you lose yourself in swirling thoughts and the view outside of the penthouse, a gunshot rings out every so often, echoing through the halls even through closed doors. Each sharp bang makes you jump, although your expression remains neutral.
Under your facade, every shot reminds you of the night you wielded the gun and shot a man dead. As much as you’d never regret keeping yourself and Wooyoung safe, you can’t help but wonder what if you had never gone so far in the first place.
Hours pass, the sound of gunfire punctuating the otherwise tense silence. You try to occupy yourself, browsing through the expensive art books and designer magazines scattered across the coffee table, but your mind keeps drifting back towards the bloodstained memories you’ve worked so hard to bury.
Just as you’re starting to feel the strain, the study door swings open, and Wooyoung emerges, his suit immaculate despite the violence that likely transpired within. He approaches you with a calculated stride, his eyes gleaming with a mix of satisfaction and something darker.
“Well, that took care of the problem. Our little rat won’t be squealing anymore.” He reaches out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind your ear, his touch surprisingly gentle considering the brutal nature of his actions. “But enough about that.”
You can smell the iron of blood off him, but you hold your tongue, waiting for him to continue.
Wooyoung’s gaze lingers on your face, searching for any signs of distress or hesitation. When he finds none, a hint of relief flickers in his eyes before he turns to pour himself a glass of whiskey from the decanter on the sideboard.
He takes a seat beside you, his thigh pressing against yours and sending heat through your body. Your heart pounds in your chest and you squeeze your eyes shut, hands fisting the fabric of your dress, waiting for him to deliver your judgement on the way you had worked against him, even for just a short while.
Instead, you hear a low chuckle, fingers brushing against your chin as he tilts your head upwards. “Look at me, doll,” he commands. When you raise your eyes to meet his piercing gaze, he continues. “Back when you were talking about your past, you said you didn’t want to betray me, and you stopped short at the why. Finish what you were saying.”
There’s an unspoken understanding in his eyes—he knows what you were going to say, the depth of your affection for him. And yet, he wants to force you to articulate it, to acknowledge the bond that has grown stronger each day.
The room seems to shrink, the weight of his expectations pressing down on your shoulders. Confessing it could either solidify your place by his side, or only bring you more suffering, depending on what he chooses.
You bite your lip, tasting the sting of blood as you look back down at your hands quivering. “I…I love you,” you finally admit, your words quiet enough you swear Wooyoung will be able to hear your heart pounding. “I stupidly fell in love with you.”
For a long moment, the only sound is the steady thrum of the city outside and the ragged beat of your heart. Then, suddenly, Wooyoung reaches out and cups your cheek, his thumb stroking your trembling lip.
“I knew,” he murmurs, his voice so low you almost don’t catch it. “I’ve known all along where you came from, your mission, and…and the change in you. I’ve seen it in your eyes for a while now. The way you look at me? It’s no secret.”
His fingers trail down to press his thumb against the junction of your neck, showcasing his power against you, and yet it is still soft, gentle, and reverent. “I have to admit, it pleases me. Having you by my side, loving me…it’s a treasure I hadn’t anticipated.” But beneath the tender words, a thread of hardness remains, a reminder of the ruthless world he rules. “Yet, as much as I enjoy keeping you close, you’ve lied to me. You’ve used me for your own gain, and you must be punished for that, don’t you think?”
“Whatever you deem as proper, I accept it,” you comply, ready for a sharp hit, or even a gunshot as well. You fight to keep your eyes on him, unable to read his expression.
A heavy silence hangs in the air, the seconds ticking by like hours. Then, unexpectedly, Wooyoung pulls you into his arms, holding you close against his chest.
“You’re mine, doll,” he declares, his voice a deep rumble against your ear. “Whatever happens to you, you belong to me. And I won’t let anyone, including who you were, threaten that.” His hands roam possessively over your body, a claim of ownership, a reminder of the twisted dynamic that binds you to him.
“But that doesn’t mean I’m absolving you of your sins,” he adds, his hot breath ghosting against your skin. “You’ll still face the consequences. Just perhaps not the ones you’ve feared.” He holds you tightly, the warmth of his body seeping into yours as if trying to burn away the shadows of your past. His hand drifts down to the small of your back, pressing you closer.
“You understand, my love? I’m offering you a reprieve, but you must learn to trust me completely. To obey without question, and you will be spared. I’m offering you a chance, and that is not something I give lightly.” Wooyoung leans in, his lips grazing the sensitive skin just below your ear. “In return, I’ll ensure your safety…and pleasure.” The implication sends a shiver down your spine, a mix of apprehension and anticipation.
His grip tightens, as if to reinforce his claims, and yet also a silent allowance for your answer. Not that you need any time to deliberate. Your breath hitches as his lips brush against your ear, sending tingles down your spine. You nod, a silent agreement, your heart racing in your chest.
“Yes, Wooyoung,” you whisper, the name feeling like a prayer on your tongue. “I understand. I’ll follow your lead, as well as any and all decisions you make.”
You press yourself further into his embrace, craving the sense of security and belonging he offers. Even if it means surrendering parts of himself, you’re willing to do whatever it takes to stay by his side. “And…I trust you,” you add sincerely, the admission slipping out before you can stop it. The words hang in the air, a declaration of faith in the man who wields such power over you.
A satisfied smile plays on Wooyoung’s lips as he hears your whispered submission. He nuzzles your hair, inhaling your scent deeply.
“That’s my good doll,” he praises, his voice a low purr of approval. “You’re back in the game. Soon, you’ll be perfecting the role of my devoted wife.” His words send a shiver down your spine, and his wands begin to wander once more, tracing the contours of your body with a deliberate slowness.
“But first, let’s celebrate our new arrangement, shall we?” Without warning, he spins you to face him, his eyes darkening with a hunger that sends a flush creeping up your neck. “Get on your knees for me, doll. Show me the respect and obedience you’ve promised me,” he commands, his voice rough with desire.
Without hesitation, you quickly comply, falling to your knees in front of where he sits, looking up at Wooyoung with wide eyes and awaiting his next instruction. Wooyoung’s eyes follow the line of your body, a predatory glint in his eyes. He leans forward, forcing you to tilt your head back to maintain eye contact.
“That’s a good doll,” he repeats, his voice dripping with approval. “Now, open wide. Show me how eager you are to please your husband.”
With that, he releases the button of his trousers, allowing them to sag slightly and reveal the impressive bulge straining against the fabric of his boxers. You can practically taste the musky arousal, making your mouth water.
You can’t help but to shift forward until your face pressed against his clothed cock, mouthing at his underwear until he’s groaning at your ministrations. A low growl rips its way out of Wooyoung’s throat as he frees his thick cock from its confines. It slaps against his abdomen, obscene wet sounds making you hunger even more as you watch his precum bead out of the tip.
“Such a pretty sight,” he murmurs, his hand wrapping around the base to guide himself into your waiting mouth. “Take it all, my doll. Every inch.”
As he pushes past your lips, you feel the heat of his flesh, the firmness of his cock stretching your mouth wide. The taste of him floods your mouth—salt and a little sweetness that makes your cunt clench and drip out more wetness to soak your underwear through.
Wooyoung begins to thrust slowly, savouring each vibration you send through his length as you moan and gag around his dick. Each stroke is deliberate, using your mouth for his pleasure and his pleasure only. And that in itself brings you into a heady mindset.
Your hands squeeze your thighs as you try to ignore the increasing wetness between your legs, focusing on sucking and licking as best as you can around his thick cock. His hips rock steadily, sliding in and out of your mouth with lewd sounds echoing through the penthouse. Groans and sighs spill out of his mouth, clearly enjoying your mouth working him to his orgasm.
“That’s it, baby,” he encourages, his fingers tangling in your hair to guide your movements. “Take every bit of my cock. You look so perfect with it stuffed in your mouth, truly my perfect wife.”
The praise sends a thrill down your spine, even as you choke around his girth. It only serves to heighten your arousal, your cunt throbbing more and more as you swallow around him. You can feel his cock twitch, but before you can react, Wooyoung’s hands tangle in your hair. He holds your head down as he comes, shooting ropes of hot come down your throat with his head thrown back.
Eagerly, you swallow it all, licking the head of his length to coax every last drop out of him. Before you get very far, Wooyoung pulls himself free, his cock slick with saliva. “Stand up,” he orders, a smirk playing on his lips. You scramble to your feet, chest heaving as you try to catch your breath, and you can see his eyes roam over your body, drinking in the sight of you.
“You’re so beautiful when you’re worked up,” Wooyoung hums, reaching up to cup your breasts with his large hands, thumbs ghosting over your nipples. “Look at you, so cute. All for me, aren’t they?” His tone is teasing as he pinches the flesh.
As he continues to toy with your tits, he snakes a hand down between your thighs, pressing against your underwear. “So wet too,” he notes approvingly, his fingers pushing the fabric aside to slide into your cunt easily. “You really are my eager wife, aren’t you?”
“Always, for you,” you gasp, hands reaching out to grasp his wrists. “Your wants are my wishes, please.” Your voice lilts into a whine, Wooyoung chuckling low in his throat at your desperate plea.
“That’s right, doll,” he agrees, his fingers pumping slowly in and out of you as his palm rubs circles on your sensitive clit. “You’ll give me everything I want, whenever I want it.”
The pressure applied to your clout becomes more insistent, pushing you closer and closer to the edge. “Come for me, babydoll,” he demands, although he can’t keep the fondness out of his voice anymore. “God, you’re squeezing me so good with that greedy cunt of yours.”
The mix of praise and degradation sends you over the edge of pleasure. Shivers wrack through your body as you grind against his hand. “Wooyoung–” you gasp, legs trembling as you squeeze your eyes shut, moans cutting through your breaths.
As you tremble and quake through your orgasm, Wooyoung’s grip on your hips tightens, holding you still as he works his hand in you to help you ride out each wave. “That’s it, let go for me,” he hums, his voice silky smooth. “Give it all to me, doll.”
You lean forward, tears dropping out of your closed eyes and onto his thighs, Wooyoung easing his fingers from your pussy, licking your release off of the digits. “You taste even sweeter when you’re mine,” he murmurs, eyes gleaming with possessiveness. He holds the back of your neck, pulling you into a kiss, his tongue pressing past your lips to claim every inch as his own.
Happily, you drop your mouth open to let him swallow every whimper and moan that tries to escape you as you chase his lips. Your core still aches but also craves more of him as your arms wrap around him.
Wooyoung breaks the kiss, his chest heaving with every breath as he gazes down at you with an intense passion. “I think it’s time we consummate this marriage,” he suggests, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of his mouth as his hand trails down to squeeze your ass.
Before you can even react, he hoists you up into his arms, carrying you effortlessly to his bedroom. “We have a lot to discuss, my dear wife,” he hums, his breath hot against your skin as he presses a contrastingly gentle kiss to your cheek. “And I plan to thoroughly discuss every inch of your body.”
He pushes open the door and stalks towards the bed, his strides long and purposeful. Deftly, he drops you onto the soft bed, crawling over until he looms over you with a confident smirk.
Your eyes don’t leave him as you reach up to stroke his cheek gently, pulling him into a soft kiss. “I love you,” you can’t help but to say again, your gentle words lightening the hunger coursing through your veins.
At your whispered declaration, Wooyoung’s expression shifts, a flicker of something almost tender passing through his dark eyes as he captures your lips again in a searing kiss. His hands roam your body, mapping every dip and swell as if memorising you.
When he finally pulls back, his voice is heavy with emotion. “I know, YN. And I love you too. It might be in ways you don’t understand, but I do.” There’s sadness in his voice, an acknowledgement that his love is complex, and toxic. He leans down to trail kisses along your jaw and neck, teeth scraping at your delicate skin as he tries to take both your minds off of the seriousness. “Come on, let’s get comfortable. I want to show you exactly just how I love you.”
His hands slide up your dress, his calloused palms gliding over the expanse of your stomach as he lifts the garment over your head. You shiver as the cool air hits your body, goosebumps littering you.
“I love seeing you like this,” he murmurs, his thumb brushing over the side of your breast, sending a shiver through your veins. With a fluid motion, he flips your positions, drawing you close to sit in his lap. His hands settle on your hips, guiding you down to grind against his hardening cock.
“Ride me, doll,” he commands, his eyes burning with desire. “Show me how much you want my touch.”
Carefully, you reach down and grasp his hard length, letting the head push into you slowly. A broken moan leaves your mouth as you sink down more and more.
Wooyoung grunts, his hands gripping your hips as you envelop his thick length, your cunt gripping him like a velvet vice. “Fuck, yes,” he hisses, his hands digging into your flesh as he helps guide you down further, sheathing himself fully inside you.
For a long moment, he simply savours the sensation of being buried to the hilt in your warm folds. Then, with a sudden thrust, he rocks you against him, setting a brutal pace that has you bounding on his cock with a needy cry. “There we are, doll, take it all,” he groans, his lips pulling into a fierce grin. “You were made for me, wife. This cunt is just for me, right?”
You bite your lips, trying to quieten your moans as your arms wrap around his shoulders and you drop your head into the crook of his neck, pulling him even closer.
At your movements, Wooyoung chuckles, his hips snapping upwards in a relentless rhythm. “Such a good doll, taking all of me like this,” he hums, his voice low in his throat.
One hand slides up your back to tangle in your hair, yanking your head back to expose the slender column of your neck. He latches onto the tender skin, biting and sucking marks into your flesh as he pounds into you with increasing ferocity. “You’re mine, doll,” he growls against your throat, his words punctuated by the lewd sounds of his hips meeting your ass. “Every inch of you belongs to me, and I’m going to make sure you never forget it.”
“I’m yours,” you repeat dumbly, eyes rolling back in your head. “Wooyoung, please…”
Wooyoung’s grip on your hair tightens as he leans in close, his hot breath fanning over your ear. “Please what, baby? Tell me what you need, and I’ll give it to you,” he prompts, his voice a seductive purr. He slows his thrusts slightly, allowing you to feel every inch of his thick cock as he grinds against you. “Or maybe you just need to come undone on my dick, screaming my name?”
His free hand trails down to tease your sensitive clit, circling the bud with maddening slowness. The stimulation is nearly too much to bear, your core coiling tighter and tighter until you sink your teeth into his neck. “Please, Wooyoung,” you whimper, unable to string together a coherent sentence. “I need– I need–”
With a wicked smile and a nip to your ear, Wooyoung pinches your clit firmly, sending waves of pleasure through your nerves. “You need what, sweetheart?” he taunts, his fingers still mercilessly tormenting your aching cunt.
He picks up the pace once more, driving into you with ruthless abandon. The room fills with the symphony of your ragged breathing, his groans, and the obscene sounds of him working his cock deeper into you.
You throw your head back as you reach the cusp of pleasure again, body tensing as your cunt squeezes in a vice around him. “Fuck– Wooyoung–” you cry out before your core snaps and you come, creaming around his cock as you whine and whimper.
Wooyoung’s control slips at the feel of your pussy clamping down on him. With a feral moan, he buries himself to the hilt and holds you down on his cock, the length of it pulsating as he fills you with enough come that it bubbles out of your conjoined bodies.
“Fuck, take it all,” he hisses, his hips jerking erratically as he rides out his climax. His fingers dig into your hips and thighs, marking you with crescent shapes as he buries his face in your hair.
As the waves of pleasure ebb, he collapses back onto the bed, dragging you down with him to nestle against his chest. His heart thunders against your ear as he strokes your hair soothingly, a rare display of tenderness from the usually dominant man.
“That’s it, doll,” Wooyoung continues to pet your hair softly, his breathing gradually evening out and his heart slowing to a lull. “Just relax now. Let me hold you, my wife.”
Despite the lingering ache between your thighs, his cock softening inside of you, you find yourself relaxing in his embrace, his warm body surrounding you. After a while, he tilts your chin up to capture your lips in a slow, languid kiss, his tongue sweeping across the seam of your mouth to taste the remnants of your passion. When he finally breaks away, his gaze is almost affectionate.
“Come on, doll, let’s get cleaned up,” he says, although there’s no real conviction behind his words.
You press your lips against his again, enjoying the soft domesticity of this. “Let’s stay like this for just a little longer, please,” you ask, voice tinged with timidness as if scared he’ll leave again.
Wooyoung’s expression turns thoughtful at your request, a small furrow appearing between his brows. For a long moment, he simply looks at you, his dark eyes searching yours as if trying to decipher your emotions. Then, with a subtle nod, he enfolds you more securely in his arms, holding you close as if to shield you from the world.
“Alright, doll,” he agrees quietly. “Just a little longer. We’ve got all night, after all.”
He presses another tender kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering as if savouring the simple intimacy of the gesture. In this moment, the ruthless kingpin seems to fade away, replaced by a man who craves connection, however fleeting or unconventional. Time seems to stand still as you both bask in the afterglow, the world outside your intimate bubble fading into insignificance. It’s a fleeting reprieve from the harsh realities of their lives, but one they cling to desperately, savouring the precious few moments of tranquility before the storm inevitably returns.
-
“Doll, come here.” You can hear Wooyoung’s voice from across the apartment, his tone low and commanding. It leaves no room for disagreement, so you quickly slip out of the bedroom where you were going over the financial reports of your club.
Wooyoung stands in the living room, arms crossed and face guarded. “It’s time for your punishment. Come with me.” You nod quickly, body tensing. It’s been weeks since you admitted your feelings, and Wooyoung had made no move to punish you for the disloyalty. Now, it seems he has finally decided on a fitting end.
Without waiting for a response, Wooyoung turns and strides out of the apartment, expecting you to follow closely behind. He leads you to a nondescript car, different from his usual automobile, the interior far more luxurious than the exterior would suggest.
He opens the passenger door for you, his expression still unreadable. “Get in,” he orders curtly, not offering any further explanation. You quickly follow suit, and Wooyoung walks around the car to get into the driver’s seat, starting the engine and starting the trip.
The cityscape blurs in the windows, an uncomfortable silence settling uncomfortably over the car. After a few tense minutes, Wooyoung finally speaks, his voice tinged with a hint of worry. “Doll, whatever comes, I want you to know this isn’t a reflection of how I feel about you. This is a necessity for you to understand I can’t let anyone cross me.” He glances at you sideways.
It takes you a moment to realise he’s waiting for an answer, and you quickly nod. “Of course, Wooyoung, I understand.” Your voice sounds quiet and foreign even to yourself, but your words are true.
Wooyoung’s jaw clenches at your obedient response, a flicker of something akin to pride crossing his features. He reaches over to squeeze your thigh reassuringly, his touch firm yet gentle.
“You’re smart, doll. That’s why I chose you,” he hums, his voice taking on a tone of affection. “Now, just sit back and relax for now. We’ll be there soon.”
As promised, you arrive at your destination in a short while—a seedy, rundown warehouse on the outskirts of town. Wooyoung parks the car and exits, motioning for you to join him. He leads you through the dark halls to a room, akin to a dungeon. The heavy wooden door creaks shut behind you both, enveloping you in an atmosphere of dark anticipation.
Once inside, he produces a dark cloth, wrapping it around your wrists and binding them in front of you. You twitch, wanting to bat his hands away, but you hold back. When he finishes, he steps back, his piercing gaze raking over your form appraisingly. “I’ll strip you,” he orders, his voice devoid of emotion. “Then I want you on your knees when I return.”
Without waiting for a response, he quickly rips your dress off of you and exits the room, leaving you alone with your racing thoughts. The cool air feels thick with tension, each second ticking by agonisingly slow as you hastily comply with his demands.
After what feels like hours, but is probably only ten minutes, the door swings open once more, and you register Wooyoung’s breathing before you even see him as he stands in the threshold. It takes you another moment to realise he’s got a heavy bag slung over his shoulder.
Before you can even question what’s in it, Wooyoung throws it to the ground in front of me, and the bag lets out a muffled grunt. You recoil as you realise there’s a human being in there. “Wooyoung–” you start to talk, but Wooyoung shakes his head and you snap your mouth shut.
“I don’t think dolls can speak, can they?”
As soon as you nod shallowly, Wooyoung reaches out and undoes the bag, pulling the person out roughly. It takes you a moment to register, but when you see it’s your old boss, Wooyoung’s rival, you can’t keep the sharp gasp from exiting your mouth. He’s got a black eye and a busted nose, but he’s awake, shifting uncomfortably.
“Say hello, doll,” Wooyoung hums, his voice light but dangerous. “Park here wants to apologise, right?”
He kicks his rival in the ribs, a glint in his eye that can be seen even in the darkness. You can see the figure of Beomjun scramble to his knees, a strong contrast to the terrifying leader you once knew. “I’m sorry,” he repeats what is a clear script, his voice tense and teeth gritted, “for using what wasn’t mine. Wooyoung’s property is not to be touched.”
You can hardly keep your eyes off the grovelling figure, so you don’t notice when Wooyoung approaches you until he presses a cool metal object in your hand. A gun lays in your hand, and your hands shift to hold it properly automatically. “Shoot him,” Wooyoung’s voice rings clear, his mock whisper meant to be heard by Beomjun.
“Wait, please, you said you wouldn’t–” Beomjun’s words dissolve into whimpers and sobs. You never thought you’d see such a strong leader in the black market appear so…pathetic. “I won’t bother you anymore, I’ll leave YN alone, please– let me live– I’ll give you all my assets–”
Wooyoung clicks his tongue. “Either way, I’ll get all of your offers, Park. Your incentives are nothing but dust.” He leans forward to brush his lips against your ear. “Shoot him, doll. Show me that you put all your trust in me, now. He is nothing to you.”
His hand moves to your waist, and the other one lifts your arm that’s holding the gun until it’s aimed at him. Although you hesitate just a moment, Wooyoung’s words wind around your mind like a snake, and your finger twitches on the trigger.
You don’t even register the sound of the gunshot as Beomjun’s next plea is caught in his throat and he collapses against the concrete, eyes open wide and blood pooling around his body. You can hardly think as Wooyoung presses a chaste kiss to your cheekbone, taking the gun out of your hands and shoving it in his waistband before leading you to a small sink in the corner of the room, where he wets a paper towel to clean the specks of blood that landed on you.
As he wipes gently, he leans in close, lips pressing against your temple. “Remember, doll, my patience has limits. Don’t ever test them again.” With that warning, he brings you to a different room, where it’s decorated simply with a bed and nothing else. “Come, sit on my lap,” Wooyoung commands, his voice strangely gentle.
Carefully, you follow his direction until you’re nested up against his chest. You can feel his boner through his slacks, curious as to where this is headed. Before you even have time to gasp, Wooyoung flips your skirt up and pushes aside your underwear before pressing his fingers into you.
He’s not gentle by any means, but the roughness only brings you pleasure as tears fill your eyes. You’re sure the wetness trickling down your cheeks only makes him hard, and you can feel it beneath you as well.
“Are you going to try to betray me again, wife?” Wooyoung asks, the pet name spoken without affection, although you know it’s hidden under the punishment you deserve.
You quickly shake your head, eyes wide. Killing someone still has you shaken up, but you’re in no mood to piss Wooyoung off ever again, and you want to enjoy the pleasure of his fingers. “No, Wooyoung, husband, I promise–”
Your quick response and lilt of a whine in your voice gives Wooyoung pause, his fingers slowing. “Good doll,” he croons, leaning in to give you a proper kiss, gentle and loving despite his rough treatment earlier. “You’re so pretty and perfect for me, let’s keep it that way.”
The gentle touch of his lips has you whining and twitching your hips, and you can feel the gun tucked away pressing against your thigh. The thought of it has you whining, and you must be easier to read than you think, your eyes flickering down to where it sits, because Wooyoung chuckles and reaches down to pull it out.
“Look at you, so dirty, wife,” Wooyoung preeens, pressing the barrel against your thigh and dragging it up until it’s hooked through the gifted necklace and pressing against your chin. “Begging for my cock, begging for my gun. Aren’t you a pretty picture for me? So pliable.”
You whine, nodding eagerly even as the gun knocks against your chin. “Please,” you gasp out, hips grinding against his hand even without his prompting.
Your begging only makes Wooyoung’s smile wider as he moves the gun until it’s pushing your bottom lip down, forcing your mouth open. “Did I tell you to speak, doll?” he grits out, hand stilling his movement. “Be a good doll and open your mouth for me.”
When your mouth drops open almost immediately, a delighted chuckle leaves Wooyoung’s throat at your eagerness. Without saying a word, he pushes the tip of the gun into your mouth, forcing you to taste the metallic tang of the barrel.
Your cunt leaks around Wooyoung’s fingers, your eyes glazing over as your mind drifts away and all you want to do is please. The gun doesn’t push too far past your teeth, not like Wooyoung’s cock would, and you lick and suck at it gently as you rock slowly against Wooyoung.
The amusement in Wooyoung’s eyes only increases as he reaches down to unfasten his pants, pulling his rock-hard cock out. “Come on, baby, ride me,” he commands, pushing your hips up until his cock aligns with your cunt. “Show me how much you want to be used.”
With the gun still in your mouth, you drop down, his length spearing into you until you whine around the metal. Saliva drips out of your mouth and down your throat, pooling in your collarbones and slicking up your breasts. Your eyes roll back as you start a slow pace, bouncing up and down as best as you can.
Wooyoung’s hang grabs your hip tight enough to leave bruises, pushing you down to take him even deeper. The whine you let out is cut short as he slams his hips up into you, fucking you with wild abandon.
You can hardly feel anything except searing pleasure as he thrusts into you, the gun now resting in your mouth too far gone to continue sucking on it. But then Wooyoung leans in closer, nose brushing against your ear. “The safety’s off.”
It’s a lie, a bald-faced lie. You saw him lock it before sliding it into its holster. You know that it won’t shoot, the trigger wouldn’t even budge. And yet, the idea of it makes you groan around the barrel, cunt spasming as you come around Wooyoung’s cock, squeezing it so tight your core aches.
Wooyoung gasps at the feeling, pulling the gun out of your mouth and tossing it to the side as he pulls you closer into a bruising kiss, teeth scraping at your lips. “Fuck–” he moans into your mouth “–you fucking slut. You love having a gun in your mouth and a cock up your pussy? Maybe next time I’ll shove it up your cunt while I fuck your ass, such a perfect dumb whore.”
The kisses he litters on your lips betray his harsh words, and he comes with a groan, cock twitching as his hands grope your tits roughly. You’re limp, leaning against you as he uses you for his own pleasure. He grinds into as you pant against his collarbone, drawing a few more weak drops of come out of his cock.
As you lay against his chest, Wooyoung chuckles, pressing a soft kiss to your hair. “You know,” he hums, “a punishment isn’t supposed to be so pleasurable for you. But I’ll let it slide this time.”
There’s no way you can register his words properly, but it doesn’t seem to bother him as he lays you down and lets you regain your mind and energy. Your eyes flutter shut as he strokes your hair softly, his gaze transfixed on you, a mix of possessiveness and adoration flickering in his eyes. “Rest now, and we’ll talk later,” Wooyoung hums more to himself than anything else. For now, he’ll enjoy the calm of this moment.
-
The ride home is silent, the only sound is the hum of the engine and your ragged breathing as you try to grasp what just happened. You don’t know what to say or do, hands grasped together as you try to wrap your head around the events of today. After shooting Beomjun’s lackey, it never occurred to you that it might have to happen again, much less that it would be Beomjun himself. But something in you burns at the power you held over the gang leader.
Upon returning to the penthouse, Wooyoung ushers you inside, his demeanour softening slightly as he removes his jacket and kicks off his shoes. He glances over at you, noticing your conflicting expressions, and he sighs through his nose.
“Doll, you okay? It was intense, but you needed to understand the world I live in, through its entirety.” He pads over to you, closing the distance, reaching out to pry your fingers apart and weave his own through yours. “It’s late…let’s get some rest. I want to hold you.”
He’s trying to divert the topic, and you grasp at it, following him like a sheep led to slaughter, letting him gently change you into pyjamas. He even brushes your teeth, treating you like you’re fragile and may break at any moment. When he slides into bed, he pulls you alongside, wrapping his arms around you.
As you settle into the warmth of his embrace, you let out a sigh and your body finally relaxes and sinks into the mattress. Despite the tumultuous relationship he provides you with, his presence still gives you a sense of safety and security.
“Wooyoung…I love you,” you breathe out, turning to press your face into his neck.
He stiffens slightly at your words, his hold on you tightening almost imperceptibly. For a long moment, he remains silent, processing your words. He’ll never be truly used to hearing you say it out loud, his line of work stunting his emotions. But, it still gives him warmth.
In low tones, he responds, “You’d better, doll. You’re mine, body and soul.” Despite his gruff words, there’s a hint of vulnerability, a glimpse of the man beneath the hardened kingpin. He strokes your hair soothingly, his other hand tracing gentle patterns on your hip. “Sleep now, doll. We’ll worry about tomorrow when it comes.”
Despite the complexity of your relationship, you drift off easily, feeling a sense of belonging. For better or for worse, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. And one day, you’ll have him grovelling under you.

tashi duncan x ditzy gf!reader hcs <3
୨ৎ think season 1/ pre-lobotomy cat valentine!!!
୨ৎ tashi could not remember how the two of you even became friends, with your personalities being so far off each other. she's more ambitious and disciplined while you were carefree and ... silly :p
୨ৎ you was adopted into her friend group after a project (art and patrick) and the next thing she knew, you were following her around like a puppy.
୨ৎ she felt kind of protective and possessive over you, to be fair you were very accident prone so it felt natural but unlike anything she's ever felt towards anyone.
୨ৎ like during parties, when you've had too much to drink (your limit is like, three sips) she gives you water disguised as champagne. she thinks it's funny you get giggly like you were actually drinking alcohol.
୨ৎ has one hand on your backpack every time you're walking together so she can pull you away from anything that can potentially trip you.
୨ৎ the transition from being friends to girlfriends wasn't hard and surprising to anyone, you two have been acting like you were more than friends even before she realized she likes you. the only difference now is tashi's not fighting the urge to kiss you whenever she felt like it.
୨ৎ she has a hard time controlling her temper when she hears other people talk about you and your 'airheadedness'. she hates backhanded compliments especially, "oh it's so cute that your girlfriend is so dumb, i bet you like taking care of her"
୨ৎ she does like taking care of you, but you weren't dumb. you're just ... easily excitable.
୨ৎ tashi enables your lip balm hoarding addiction too, buying you the silliest flavors she comes across when shopping. loves playing 'guess the flavor' with you too :")
୨ৎ when she's busy with training or she's far away for a competition, she sends art to make sure you're okay. has him walk you to class during his free time and join you during meals to make sure you finish your food.
୨ৎ doesn't like you hanging out alone with patrick ... you're easily persuaded and god knows what he'll have you do, it's nothing bad, but knowing patrick he'll be reckless.
୨ৎ the last time you were left alone with him, he convinced you to convince tashi to do a car wash charity thing because he wants to see college girls in their bikinis :/
୨ৎ she said no
୨ৎ will say yes everytime you ask her the question 'will you still love me if i was a worm'
୨ৎ you gifted her a worm named after you so she can take care of it but she lost it three days later. (only art knows that it crawled out of it's box and ended up climbing on patrick ... it's in heaven now)
୨ৎ she spent a week trying to woo you into forgiving her, trying to convince you she'll be more careful if you actually turned into a worm.
୨ৎ leaves you alone during exam weeks because she knows you're so easily distracted, but once it ends she'll make it up to you by taking you out on well deserved dates and having sleep overs.
୨ৎ helps you dye your hair every time and will use the left overs on the tips of her hair so you can match :)
୨ৎ wears your bra strap on her wrists during games for good luck <3

summary: caleb is good at making you feel at home.
authors note: can't believe i'm posting a caleb work here on this account before a sylus one LOL, anyways i'll treat our dragon fine later, now this colonel has been eating my brain the past two days and i need to get this out. this is pretty lame honestly, just trying to figure out what caleb i want to write among ALL of the ideas his one minute trailer gave me geez. i hope you like his soft side here because i plan to write a more obsessive caleb next time hehe. (GUYS I CAN'T FIND THE AUTHOR OF THIS BEAUTIFUL DRAWING I FOUND ON PINTEREST HELP).
warnings: soft!caleb lol he is just our boynextdoor here • idk where this would fit in the og story so just enjoy the reading and pretend it makes sense pls • sfw content
word count: 0.6k
the neon glow of skyhaven's artificial skyline reflected off the polished surfaces of the floating colony, bathing everything in shades of blue and violet. caleb leaned casually against his fighter jet, the sharp angles of the aircraft framing his silhouette. his black jacket, emblazoned with the deepspace aviation administration emblem, caught the faint light, making him seem larger than life.
“thought you’d chicken out,” caleb said, his voice laced with mock disappointment as you approached. “figured you’d be too scared to race the great colonel caleb.”
“scared? of you?” you shot back, folding your arms. “last i checked, you scraped the hull of your jet in the last drill. hardly inspiring confidence, colonel.”
he chuckled, the sound low and warm, and pushed off the jet with an easy grace. “ouch. remind me to never let you near the observation deck again. you’ve got a real knack for holding grudges, don’t you?”
your banter was familiar, a shield against the weight of the world outside skyhaven. but tonight, there was a strange tension in the air, unspoken yet undeniable.
caleb stepped closer, his usual teasing smirk softening into something more genuine. “you know,” he began, his tone quieter now, “all jokes aside, it’s good to see you up here. the city looks... different from above. easier to pretend it’s not falling apart for a while.”
you glanced past him, your gaze settling on the twinkling lights of linkon city far below. “it’s not falling apart,” you said firmly. “not while we’re still here to fight for it.”
“always the optimist,” caleb murmured, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “you make it sound so easy.”
“it’s not. but what’s the alternative?”
silence stretched between you two, broken only by the hum of distant machinery. caleb looked at you, his purple eyes searching yours for something unspoken. when he spoke again, his voice was softer, rawer.
“do you ever wonder what it would’ve been like if we hadn’t lived through the chronorift?” he asked. “if we’d just... had normal lives? no wanderers, no aether cores, no missions?”
you blinked, caught off guard by the vulnerability in his words. caleb rarely let his guard down, always the jokester, always the soldier.
“sometimes,” you admitted. “but then i remember how much we’ve done—how much we’ve survived. i wouldn’t trade that. not if it means losing you.”
his gaze sharpened, and for a moment, caleb seemed to forget the world around them. he took a step closer, the space between you shrinking.
“Y/N,” he said, your name heavy with meaning. “you know i’d do anything to keep you safe, right? even if it means...” he trailed off, looking away, his jaw tightening.
“even if it means what?” you pressed gently.
he exhaled, running a hand through his dark hair. “even if it means putting the whole world in danger. you’re the one thing I can’t lose.”
for once, you didn’t have a comeback. instead, you reached out, your fingers brushing his. “you won’t lose me, caleb. not as long as you don’t give up on yourself.”
the tension between you softened, replaced by something warmer, quieter. caleb’s smirk returned, though it was tinged with something deeper this time.
“guess i’ll have to stick around then,” he said, his voice lighter now. “wouldn’t want to miss out on you finally admitting i’m the better pilot.”
you rolled your eyes but couldn’t suppress a smile. “keep dreaming, colonel.”
and as the two stood there, beneath the artificial stars of skyhaven, it felt, for a moment, like the weight of their world was a little easier to bear.
author's note: look how sweet we can be, see? anyways next time i'll be writing about how he fucks probably, xx. send me a request • my masterpost

It’s Nice to Have a Friend- Jschlatt
Part 6
Masterlist
Reader has been lonely their whole life. They have never been in a relationship. They don’t understand why no one will love them but their best friend, Schlatt has always been in love with them.
Schlatt wakes up with the worst pounding headache he has ever had. He can’t remember most of last night, but he feels like something happened. He looks over at his nightstand and sees a glass of water, two pills, his phone and a note. The note reads, “Here’s some advil, you’re going to need it. Call me when you are less hungover!”
He can tell by the curly handwriting that you wrote the note. Part of him wished you would have stayed with him. He wanted to cuddle with you again or at least have you cuddle with the cats. He’s worried that he fucked something up, but he’s not sure what he did.
Before he calls you, he calls Mika. “Hey man! How are you feeling?” Mika answers, a little too loud for Schlatt’s liking.
“Shitty. What happened last night?” Schlatt asks, rubbing his forehead.
“You don’t remember do you? You sang Creep for (Y/N), but I don’t think they got the message. Then when you guys left, I think they were crying. You were so drunk, they were dragging you around.”
Schlatt remembers singing Creep and it not exactly going as he planned. That is why he took so many shots. He wanted to forget your confusion and the way you were talking to a random guy. “Why were they crying?”
“I’m not sure. They tried to tell us they weren’t. Maybe you should ask them.”
“Alright, thanks. Have a great show tonight,” Schlatt hangs up.
He knows he needs to call you, but he wants to delay the inevitable of whatever happened. He takes the advil you laid out and goes to check on the cats. Schlatt feeds them, hoping his hangover will go away soon.
After a few hours of laying around, Schlatt starts feeling better. He picks up his phone and sees his Lock Screen of the two of you. It was a photo taken when he moved back to New York. The two of you had decided to go out to stay inside and play Mario Kart like most days. You made him take a selfie with you as a bet. You told him if you won the next two games, he had to take a selfie with you. He reluctantly smiled when you took the picture. However, when he saw the picture, he made you send it to him then it immediately became his Lock Screen.
Looking at the two of you happy, made his heart swell. He longed for moments like this where you two were just happy. He wished that he could spend every moment with you. He didn’t care if you two were together or not. He just wanted to be near you always.
Schlatt bites the bullet and calls your number. “Hi,” you let out when he answers. He doesn’t know why but you sound tired and sad. He hopes you’re okay.
“Hey you wanted me to call you when I was less hungover and I’m less hungover,” he tells you.
“Okay. Can I come over? This may be a better conversation in person.”
“Of course. My door is always open for you.”
He hears you hang up and waits for your arrival. He is curious as to what the conversation is and why it needed to be in person. His anxiety is filling his brain with all the worst possibilities.
As he is worrying, the doorbell rings. He rushes to get the door. He sees you staring there with your hair pulled up and wearing his hoodie. You look even more tired than you sounded on the phone. the sight made him want to pull you into a hug. “Come in,” he tells you, leading you to sit on the couch.
You sit down beside him but put a bit of space between you two. You sigh before asking, “Do you remember anything from last night?”
“Not really. The last thing I remember is singing, but that’s about it.”
You nod. “You told me something last night. Something that sober Schlatt might not have told me.” You look up at him.
Oh shit. He didn't, did he? “What did drunk Schlatt tell you?”
“You told me you loved me and not like a friendly love. You told me you were in love with me,” you tell him.
He looks at you horrified trying to read your face. He wonders what you thought about it. Probably bad based upon your appearance. “I’m sorry (Y/N). I’ve been wanting to tell you, but I couldn’t. I knew you wouldn’t feel the same and I didn’t want to lose you,” Schlatt rambles.
You grab his hand. “I never said I didn’t feel the same. That's the problem. I don’t know how I feel. I love you so so much, but I never thought about loving you like that. I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m just saying I never thought about it. I’ve never been in love, so I don’t know what it feels like.”
He nods. “Is there anything I could do to help you? This is why I didn’t want to tell you.”
“No, I’m glad you told me. I think you would have hurt yourself more if you kept it to yourself,” you tell him. “This might be crazy, but maybe you should kiss me.”
His eyes widen at that. “What?”
“Kiss me. Maybe if you kiss me, it will all make sense. That’s what happens in movies. I know this is real life, but maybe it’s worth a shot.”
Before you can say anything else, his lips are on yours. He feels you immediately kiss him back. He has been waiting for this moment forever and actually experiencing it doesn’t feel real. He pulls you closer to him, needing you as close as possible.
You pull away slightly to catch your breath. “Woah. That was,” you start, not finding the right words.
Schlatt nods, reading your mind. “Did that help you at all?” He asks, lightly brushing a piece of hair that had fallen behind your ear.
“Maybe. Maybe you need to kiss me again to really be sure,” you tease.
“Don’t tempt me Toots. I’ll kiss you all damn day if I have to.” He could kiss you forever, it seems. He would quit making videos if I meant spending the day making out with you.
“I liked it a lot. I haven’t kissed many people, but it never felt like that. Is it supposed to feel electric? I feel like if I touch my lips, I’m going to shock myself.”
“I think that’s what they call sparks, Darling,” he smirks at you. “Don’t worry I felt them too.”
You smile at him. “What does this mean for us?”
“It doesn’t have to mean anything but I want it too. We will still be best friends no matter what happens. Honestly, nothing would be different other than we kiss and maybe do more if you’re up for it,” he assures you. Schlatt would love to do more with you, but he doesn’t want to push you in any way.
You nod. “What does that make us though? Friends who make out with each other? Partners?”
“We can be whatever you want us to be. I would like to be partners personally, but if you aren’t ready for that, that’s okay. I just want to do whatever makes you happy.”
“Thank you.”
“For what?” He questions.
“For being you and being so understanding. I would like to be partners too, but can we keep it between us? I want it to be our thing,” you ask him.
Schlatt wishes he could shout that you feel the same from the rooftops, but he wants what makes you happy. “Of course. Whatever you want, Bub.”
“Can you kiss me again?”
“You don’t have to ask,” he laughs, kissing you again. He grabs you by your hips to place you on his lap. Schlatt deepens the kiss by pulling you somehow closer to him. His tongue swipes your bottom lip, causing your mouth to open slightly. As soon as you open up, his tongue is immediately in your mouth.
Schlatt pulls away and his mouth immediately goes to your neck. Being with you like this is better than he would have ever thought. The way you are putty in his hands makes him want you more. He starts kissing your neck, enjoying the sounds escaping your lips. “Jay,” you breathe out.
He starts lightly sucking just below your ear. He presses a soft kiss on the spot he left before kissing your lips again. The kiss gets heated rather quickly.
After what feels like hours, Schlatt finally pulls away from you. Your forehead falls on his as you both work to catch your breath. You both smile at each other. “Why are we only doing this now?” You ask.
Schlatt lets out a small laugh. “Well I’ve been thinking about it for years,” he tells you, kissing your nose.
“How long have you known?” You ask him.
“I think I’ve always been in love with you, but I really felt it when I moved away. I remember doing an episode of Love or Host and thinking it was all bullshit. My love was in New York. I didn’t need some stupid twitch streamer. I know it was all for content, but all I could think about was you. After a bit of suffering in Austin, I knew I had to come back home to you,” Schlatt admits. It feels good to fully get it off of his chest.
Tears start welling in your eyes. “I can’t believe how stupid I’ve been. I have been so oblivious about your feelings. I’m happy I know now though.”
Schlatt wipes a few of your stray tears. “We have plenty of time to be together. Don’t worry your pretty little head about that.”
You smile at him. “Just so you know, you’re never getting this hoodie back. It’s too comfortable,” you tell him.
He puts the hood on your head. “You keep it. It looks way better on you anyways.”
“You’re gonna regret saying that. Just be warned if all your hoodies and sweatshirts go missing,” you tell him.
He laughs a bit at you. “Want to watch a movie? You can pick,” he asks.
“Mamma Mia,” you suggest.
Schlatt knows better than to say no to you, so he immediately turns the movie on. As soon as the movie starts, he pulls you into him. You lay your head on his chest and he kisses the top of your head. He feels so content in this moment like everything in his life had finally fallen into place. He holds you close, never wanting to let you go. “I love you,” he finally says out loud.
“I love you too, Jay,” you tell him. Schlatt smiles to himself, knowing there were going to be many nights like this from now on
A/N: Ahh this series has finally come to a close! I do plan to write a one off smut and I’ll write maybe some one shot stuff. Thank you so much for enjoying this story! I’m grateful for all of you! My asks are open for other reqs!

you in my eyes [4] l Javier Peña
Summary: you weren't friends and you certainly weren't planning anything more together
Warnings: angst, enemies (?) to lovers, misogyny and sexism at work, some bad language, sexual innuendo, Murphy shows up, alcohol, a guy says nasty things about a woman, mentioning marital infidelity, some blood, physical violence, concealing an incident of violence
A/N: I think that after this chapter, those few people who read this may have mixed feelings. I get it, I had them too. However, I wanted to put myself in Reader's place and situation, and unfortunately such things happened and still happen. Remember - it's just a story. If you are in a similar situation - report it and take care of your safety. However, I hope that in the next chapter (5) I will be able to give them some better moments, they deserve it. of course, I will be grateful for any feedback from you. a fragile and uncertain part of my heart needs it.
your feedback is very important to me and I want to thank you for all the reblogs, comments and likes. I secretly hope you like this story.🖤 sorry for all the mistakes
[previous chapter]
[masterlist]
The next few days were pure chaos. After O'Connell received a call from headquarters and a sharp reprimand from his superior, he made sure everyone stayed busy. Javier and Murphy quickly got on with their work, trying to stay out of O'Connell and Messina's way.
"He cut himself shaving," Steve muttered as the man passed them in the hallway one morning without a word.
"What?" Peña looked up, clearly distracted.
"He cut himself shaving," Steve repeated, pointing to the small bandage on the back of Peter's neck. "I heard him tell a couple of the guys that were smoking outside the office this morning."
"I don't give a damn," Javier muttered. "He's a pain in the ass after that last action. It pisses him off even more that she was the one who tried to stop him."
"And that mole. Do you think they'll find him? Who could it be?"
Javier shrugged. He had his job to do and didn't feel like playing at finding a mole in the office right now. They passed another open room and Peña involuntarily glanced at your desk. Everything was perfectly organized on it, except for a few files that someone had left for you to read.
"She's still gone?" Steve could clearly read his mind. "Three days?"
"Four." Javier corrected him involuntarily.
"Did she say anything?"
"She rarely says anything."
Murphy looked at his friend. He had never seen him pay attention to someone's absence from work before. "She's a good agent," he finally said. "She saved our asses."
Peña's brown eyes landed on his friend, he nodded. "Just don't tell that to O'Connell."
When he saw you in one of the pubs that muggy evening two days later, he almost felt relief. Javier’s watchful eyes immediately noticed a familiar silhouette. The black dress hugged your body, and when he approached you, he saw that you were already tipsy.
"You weren't at work." he said, nodded to the bartender, and after a moment, he too was given a glass of whiskey.
"Were you worried?" you smiled mockingly. "I was sick."
"Sick?" he repeated.
Instinct, however, wouldn't let him rest. Something about it didn't sit right with him. He saw how uncomfortable you felt when he was next to you, and your gaze wandered around the room as if you were looking for someone.
"Look at me."
His voice was clear, he knew you heard it but decided to ignore it. That's why he gently grabbed your chin and turned your face towards him.
He swallowed before speaking again. "Who did this?"
The lipstick didn't hide your healing lip, and the remnants of the bruise on your face were still visible. You could feel Javier's gaze scanning your body. A few more bruises on your arm. What could be hidden under the dress?
"Who did this?" he repeated a little more sharply. "One of them?" he nodded towards the men who were watching you. Peña knew one of these guys, you had gone out together one evening.
You finished your drink. "Leave it." you mumbled.
He leaned towards you, you could clearly smell his cologne mixed with cigarette smoke. "How am I supposed to leave it, huh? You disappear for a few days, and now I see this. I need answers."
"You won't get them from me." you hissed. "Why do you care? We're not even friends."
He clenched his jaw. Exactly, why did he even care? Maybe because you were a woman? Maybe because you had helped him so many times, completely uninterested? Maybe he felt guilty? Or maybe he just liked you, in his own way?
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed that the man who had been watching the two of you had moved. He slowly walked towards you and Javier knew that he had no arguments for you to stay with him.
"Doll, shall we go?" he mumbled as he approached you.
Fuck, you were drunk. Your legs buckled under you as you stood up from the chair and if Javier hadn't grabbed you, you would have landed on the floor.
"I'll take you home." he said, but you shook your head.
"Everything's fine." you replied and your companion grabbed your arm.
Peña watched as you struggled to take the next steps and he felt that he should react. But you were a grown woman, you made your own decisions and if he interfered you could have broken his nose.
But at that moment his blood froze. The man who was leading you nodded to another one, and he stood up with a smile and was already at your side. You probably didn't even notice him.
All the bad thoughts popped into Javier's head and without thinking he jumped out of the chair. He caught up with you just as you were walking outside.
"Gentlemen!" he said, placing his hand on one of the men's shoulders "I advise you to leave her."
"Get lost, buddy." one of the men hissed "She wants to come with us, right doll?"
Even though you had your eyes open you couldn't form a full sentence. The alcohol was already flowing through your whole body and it was only a matter of time before you could completely lose control over yourself.
"I don't want to cause trouble, but if you insist." Javier pulled his badge from his belt "We can forget about this."
The men looked at each other clearly irritated, but they probably came to the conclusion that you weren't worth the trouble. So you collapsed on Javier, they threw a few curses and went back inside.
"Fuck, good thing you ran into me." Peña mumbled looking around and located his car "I'll take you home."
"Javier..." you sighed, your hand tightening around his, that was around your waist. "Fucking prince."
"I'm far from him, but at least you'll be in one piece. Come on."
It was a challenge to lead you. Every few steps you stopped and Javier began to wonder if it wouldn't be better if he just picked you up. He was already considering it very seriously when he heard someone say his name.
"Fuck." he hissed, realizing who it was.
Peter O'Connell was heading towards him. His tie was already stuffed into his trouser pocket, and his eyes were sparkling suspiciously. He was drunk. However, a wide smile appeared on his face when he saw Peña, and then you.
"I didn't expect that!" he laughed. "You finally made up your mind? Great choice!"
Javier mumbled something indistinctly. But he sensed that something had changed in you. Your hand seemed to grip his more tightly, your figure straightened a bit.
"Peter..." you said quietly.
"I'm glad you're feeling better now." Peter glanced at you lasciviously, the dress you were wearing suddenly seemed inappropriate to you. "I see that the office gossip has a grain of truth to it. Do you work after hours, huh?"
“I have to take her home.” Javier interrupted, pulling you along with him.
"Have fun with her, Peña!" Peter's raucous laughter echoed behind him and the man felt something curdle his insides "I thought you were like me, but you're smarter. Much smarter! If I had known that all I had to do was get that whore drunk to spread her legs, this whole mess would have been avoided."
Javier stopped abruptly, your eyes meeting for a moment.
"Not only did she fuck up the whole plan, but she also has to be so cocky. Women like her need to learn humility, Peña! And we'll teach them that lesson. Don't be gentle, these bitches like it rough!"
It was as if the missing pieces suddenly fell into place. Javier saw it all in your eyes, noticed that you shook your head, whispering his name quietly, but it was too late. His blood was boiling in his veins.
The hand you were holding ripped away from you and Peña abruptly moved away. You had no chance of stopping him. With one well-aimed punch, he knocked Peter to the ground. Blood gushed from his nose after the second, but Javier didn't stop. He held him by the lapels of his jacket and punched him a few more times.
"Javier! Javier!" your screams barely reached him.
Finally, you grabbed his arm and with no small effort, pulled him away from O'Connell. Blood was already soaking his shirt, and he curled up on the sidewalk, groaning.
"We have to go, Javier." you said, hugging him. "We have to go."
With shaking hands you opened the door to your apartment and rushed inside. The door didn't have time to close when Javier entered after you. Without a word you got out of his car, he barely stopped in front of the building you lived in. He couldn't leave it like that, especially when he saw how shaken you were.
"Will you tell me what the fuck is going on?" he asked seeing you throw your bag on the table breathing sharply "Did he do this to you?"
"It's none of your business." you panted, looking like you'd lost your mind, pacing nervously "You shouldn't have done that! You'll get in trouble! Fuck!"
"I was supposed to listen to him say things like that about you?!" Javier growled.
"You've listened so far!"
He clenched his jaw, rested his arms on his hips and breathed deeply himself. "I won't say I'm sorry. That son of a bitch got what he deserved!"
You rested your hands on the table and leaned over, a groan escaped your throat. Helplessness, anger, despair - all of it built up inside you and had to find an outlet. A sob followed immediately after that and Peña felt his shoulders slump.
"Was that him?" he asked quietly, you nodded "Fuck! You should report it."
You snorted. "You think so?" you lifted your head and looked at Javier.
Although the alcohol was still coursing through your body, adrenaline made you much more alert. You took off your heels and casually ran your hands through your hair.
"What do I say?" you shrugged "My word against his. You know very well what opinions are circulating about me, I won't be credible. Besides... Shit. He probably already bragged to you that we had an affair."
"Yeah, he mentioned something."
You looked at him with pity, but you probably felt more sorry for yourself.
"I was young and naive. Peter seemed like a fucking god to me." a strange smile appeared on your lips, but it didn't reach your eyes, they still seemed terrifyingly sad to Javier "I fell in love, just like that... I wouldn't break up his family, he said he was separated, that his marriage had been dead for a long time..."
Your voice broke. Javier felt a lump in his throat that prevented him from saying a single word. He could only listen to you. And look. And the sight was simply pathetic.
You were beautiful. He knew it, although he pretended not to notice. And that smile of yours... Or when you made him angry, you were the best at it. Only recently had he been able to admit to himself that sometimes he would like to switch places with those men you took home. He didn't understand it.
"He came here and he was furious. He shouted that I could have fucked up his career again." you continued in a quiet voice, arms wrapped around your chest, eyes wandering somewhere on the floor "He said I owed him something..."
"Did he…?" Javier barely recognized his own voice.
You quickly shook your head. "No. We just... We had a little fight."
"Jesus!" he took a step towards you, his legs felt like cotton "And you're saying I shouldn't punch him in the face? You should report it."
You shook your head again. He noticed you quickly wiped your face so he wouldn't see your tears.
"Peter will leave eventually. And now he will for sure." you said, your voice firm, as if you were discussing a plan of action with him. "If he tells Messina what happened, there would be an internal investigation, and that would bring all this shit to light. He'll want to avoid that."
"And you'll leave him like this?"
You looked up at Javier. "What am I supposed to do, huh? Who will take my side?" you saw him twitch "Javier, it doesn't make sense. I won't win this. I can only show up at the office tomorrow and see what Peter will do."
"And if he doesn't leave?
"He will leave, he's a coward. He transferred me to another department in fear that his wife would find out about me, and then he moved to another state with his family. But maybe you taught him something."
Javier sighed quietly. He knew perfectly well what you were talking about and although he thought you should have done differently, he knew the reality. You were right when you told him once that if you had a dick you would be treated differently.
He came closer and his fingers brushed your arm in a tender gesture "Do you want me to stay here with you?" he asked.
"No need." you replied, and seeing his look you added forcing a smile "But I appreciate it, Javier. I really do."
"At least I'll come tomorrow and take you to work. And no, I won't take no for an answer."
You nodded. "Okay."
He had beautiful eyes. God, you'd known that for ages. But when they were fixed on you like that, you could feel that he was really seeing you. He licked his lips with the tip of his tongue.
"You're tough, you know that? Tougher than most guys."
"And you're not like him, Javier."
"I brought you the files you asked for. I will bring the rest when the latest statements and reports are completed."
You took the files from Loise's hands and thanked her, but the woman didn't seem to want to leave your desk so soon.
"Is something wrong?" you asked, seeing her nervously picking at her cuticles.
She glanced over her shoulder as if she was afraid someone might overhear you, and then said, in a not-so-quiet whisper. "I heard O'Connell's going back to the States."
"Oh."
"You don't know why?" Loise looked at you closely.
You shrugged and shifted in your seat. "How would I know? It's none of my business."
Loise rolled her eyes. "Come on! I heard what the guys were saying on their cigarette breaks. About you and him."
A cold shiver ran down your spine, but you tried not to let it show. You didn't need to get involved.
"Gossip is not our job, Loise. Thank you for that and..."
"You dumped him for Peña?"
"W-What?!" you gasped in surprise. "What kind of question is that?"
Now it was Loise's turn to shrug and fold her arms over her chest. "We saw you this morning. You came in the same car."
"That doesn't mean anything." you snorted.
"You've never come with anyone before."
"Loise! Do we really have to have this conversation?" you stood up and glared at the woman. "It's none of your fucking business. Focus on your work, not gossiping."
The woman straightened up indignantly at your outburst. Her cheeks reddened with anger. "I'm sure Peña's already gotten into your panties, huh? You deserve each other."
"Loise, why did you even think I wear panties?"
The woman opened her mouth, clearly wanting to tell you something, but almost jumped in fear when someone entered your office.
"Messina called a quick meeting. Are you coming?" Javier announced, looking at you, and then, sensing the strange atmosphere, he moved his gaze to Loise. "Sorry, did I interrupt you?"
You shook your head. "Never mind. Yeah, I'm coming."
Javier let you through the door, threw another quick glance at Loise and followed you. "Did something happen?"
"She came to tell me that O'Connell is coming back to the States." You sighed.
"I've heard that before too. But that's not what really got you so worked up, is it?"
He opened the door for you.
"No. People noticed that we came together today."
"Damn..." Javier already knew what you wanted to say. "Now we're sleeping together?"
"Yeah, and I don't wear panties."
"What?!"
You just gave him a quick smile and you entered the conference room where most of the team was already gathered. Murphy smiled at the sight of you and gestured for you to come over.
"Connie asked me to invite you to dinner with us on Saturday." he said looking at Messina who was entering. "We don't take excuses. She wanted to thank you for telling us about the ambush."
"I don't know, I'm bad at things like that." you replied, although the offer seemed very nice to you.
Steve laughed. "I guess you're no worse than Peña."
"Hey! I'm here, asshole!" Javier said.
"She invited you too. You have to eat a normal meal eventually."
You could barely hold back your laughter. "Okay, I'll come. Thanks."

Now that the fic Tongues and Teeth is over, I’m wondering what kind of talk Smitten had with Skeptic and Hero to make him stand back up on his feet (I suppose this is a request for a fanfic? Yep)
Also, Grey Brothers content will always be welcomed. Just these two interacting more in general 👀
(Yeah,it would definitely be a heavy and emotional talk. Also,I tried to keep all the relationships in the story between the voices vague so that you could interpret them however, but I think I subconsciously knew that they had to be brothers and they definitely came off that way!Anyways, enjoy!)
'Our hearts beat for someone who will never return to us!'
That was the last thing Smitten remembered screaming at the flock, before being gently guided back to his abode by Skeptic, with a silent Hero in tow.Now they were all standing around his home, all three with a dark, melancholic aura about them all.
One thing tied the three of them together. One thing kept dragging them down further into their sullen minds, and refusing them the joy they wanted to live with.
Longing.It was longing.
They all longed for something that they could never get back again.
Smitten doesn't even remember how his outburst came about. One second,he's cheerfully walking and talking with Stubborn-the next,he has dark tears streaming down his face and he's yelling at Stubborn, furious at him for suggesting that he 'moves on so he stops creeping everyone out.'
Move on?Move on?Like it's that simple?
He heard Skeptic sigh, and Smitten looked up, finding the other bird much more ragged and exhausted than he should be.Skeptic seemed lost in his own head for a second, before his striking eyes steeled in determination, and he said,"We need to fix this.If not for us,then the sake of the flock, because it's dragging everyone else down."
Smitten reached up and began to nervously preen the feathers around his head as he softly said,"I'm mortified at my behaviour today.I shouldn't of yelled at Stubborn that way."
"It's alright, mate,"came Hero's sweet reassurance, standing farthest away from them, leaning against a corner of the wall with his arms crossed defensively. He kept glancing out at the window,as if desperate to get out and away from all this chaos. But Smitten knew this meeting was as much for Hero as it was for him.
"I talked to Para before coming in here.Stubborn doesn't hold it against you or anything."Smitten breathed a sigh of relief, but the pain in his heart was still very much present.
"I just-"Skeptic said, rubbing his eyes roughly with the palm of his hands,"-I just don't understand how to fix this, how to move on from this."
"Maybe we can't move on.Maybe we'll forever mourn for their presence,"Smitten quietly said, looking down at the floor. He heard Skeptic sigh harshly, and when he looked up,he was giving Smitten an exasperated look.
"That can't be the answer.Besides, where would that leave us and the rest of the flock?Even Broken is learning not to let the princess drag him down anymore. You need to do the same,or else you'll never be happy."
"Do not talk to me about being happy when I know you spend days up at night, refusing to sleep until you figure out how to get back to them!"Smitten felt a fire on his tongue as he snapped at Skeptic, something he rarely did.
Skeptic was also surprised by his words, and that was when Hero pushed himself off the wall and stood in between them, spreading his wings out to act as a barrier."Look, there's no need to be harsh to each other. We all need to have a sit down and work this out, before something serious happens."
Skeptic gave him an incredulous look."We?"he said in confusion, then chuckled as if Hero had said some great joke.It went on a second too long before Skeptic suddenly gave Hero a sharp look and said,"No,we're here because you decided to fly off for an entire day without telling anyone, and you had us all worried sick!"
Smitten saw the way Hero curled his fists in frustration, the guilt still evident on his face.Smitten remembers the fear that gripped his heart-the fear that gripped all of their hearts. That Hero had abandoned them to go search for the Long Quiet. Smitten remembers weeping with joy when Hero returned.
Still,Hero had a spark in his eyes, refusing to take his attention off of Skeptic as he said,"No,we're here today because Smitten had a meltdown twenty minutes ago!"
Smitten felt heat spread across his cheeks at the reminder, and it felt almost unnatural to be blushing at something that wasn't a fair maiden.
Smitten couldn't remember much of his conversation with Stubborn, but it had started off friendly enough, even though he knew that Stubborn could be a bit harsh with his words. They must've turned the conversation to be about the princesses.Smitten knew that Stubborn had quite a passionate love for her,in his own way.
'Our hearts beat for someone who will never return to us!'
Smitten stood up.
"No,"he finally said,"we are here because we have all lost a love, and we can't cope without them."He made sure to look Skeptic in the eye."We all have, and we're all hurting."
That's why Hero would fly for hours at night.
That's why Skeptic would shut himself in his room to find some explanations to all this.
That's why Smitten couldn't stand to be alone for more than a few minutes.
Skeptic opened his mouth to protest, but Smitten knew they were just going in circles now,so he wrapped his wings around him, staring down at the ground as he whispered,"I don't know how to get used to this dreadful hole in my heart."
He wanted to.He so badly wanted to feel as happy as the others felt, but there felt like a wall in between that happiness.Smitten couldn't let go of her,no matter how much he knew that she was safe and loved with the Decider.Something inside him just kept screaming and yearning for her love.
"I don't know either,"Hero quietly admitted, getting a look of shock from Skeptic. But the once dashing Hero now appeared to be covered in a veil of gloom and hopelessness. His wings lowered until they were touching the floor as he said,"I just-It's hard to move on,y'know?I see everyone getting better and building the life they each want, and I want to be a part of that-but I can't,because all I know is Him, and without Him,I'm lost."
Tears were welling up in Hero's eyes, and the sight of their Hero breaking down was enough to have Smitten's throat closing up in anguish,so he stepped closer to him, wrapping both an arm and a wing around him.He instantly felt Hero melt against him, leaning in closer to his warmth.
He silently looked up at Skeptic, willing him to put his pride aside and to see how bad they were all hurting.
A softness came over Skeptic's stern face, and he sighed, taking a small step closer to them as he practically whispered,"I don't know what to do,"in a way that made him sound ashamed of himself-but for Skeptic, the inability to figure something out with logic was shameful to him.
Skeptic ran a hand roughly through his feathers."I don't know how to solve this.Any of this.I know that logically,we need to move on from them, but I can't figure out how to do that."
There was a long pause after that,of which Smitten could only hear one thing-'Our hearts beat for someone who will never return to us!'
Maybe it was hopeless for them.
Hero sniffed, then averted his gaze from either of them as he said,"This might just be me,but everything kinda felt-simpler,when we were just voices in a god's head.We could give him advice, and no matter what happened,no matter how brutal the death,we would be there, within him."
Especially Hero.Smitten knew that Hero stuck by the Decider's side throughout every single choice they made, more so than the others. He knew that their grief was almost identical, but they were both hiding it with smiles that everyone could see through.
He could feel Hero trembling in his grip as he took a shaky breath and continued,"But He made that choice for us without asking, and I just wish that I could talk to Him again,to see Him and know that everything is going to be okay."
"He was ours.We were fragments of His mind, and now we're just-we're just-"
"-shattered pieces,"Smitten mumbled, but the other two heard it clear as day.
Smitten knew how that felt.He knew that the princess was in good hands, but it still left a hole in his heart that he didn't know how to fill, and his previous attempts were clearly not working.
"I know,"Skeptic agreed,"I keep trying to figure out what happened, what occurred to give us these bodies. But to be honest,I'm just doing all that for a chance at seeing them again.I feel lost without them."
Smitten reached a hand out,and Skeptic smiled sadly as he accepted it,squeezing his hand for either comfort or solidarity,Smitten didn't mind.
There was another heavy pause, one that Smitten wasn't sure was good.He couldn't be certain that hope would be the thing to break this silence.
He gazed up at Skeptic anxiously, before quickly turning his attention to the floor as he softly admitted,"Maybe we deserve to be lost forever."
He saw hurt flash in the bird's eyes, but Smitten couldn't bring himself to take it back or sprinkle in some flowery language to sugarcoat it.This was just who they were now-bodies full of never-ending grief.
But then Skeptic's eyes lit up.Not in the usual, flash of brilliant light he would get when he finally figured something out. No,this light was softer, more uncertain, like it could be snuffed out with a single doubt.
But he still had that tiny light as he said,"Maybe-maybe that's the problem.Maybe we're expecting ourselves to move on like the others, but that isn't the way at all."
"How do you mean?"Hero asked, taking a step forward and out of Smitten's embrace."I mean," Skeptic explained,"every puzzle has their own process. We're the same. The others didn't just suddenly forget about the Long Quiet-they all grieved and got back up in their own time.Ours is just-"Skeptic paused to take a deep breath,"-taking longer."
"I don't understand,my friend,"Smitten confessed, and that light grew bigger as Skeptic spread his arms out and explained,"I mean,we three came in here to deal with our problems,so that we wouldn't worry the flock again, and then walk out completely fine. But that was never going to be the answer. Our pain is too big for that"
"So what's the answer then?"Hero asked,a hint of fear in his voice.
At that,Skeptic sighed, and simply said,"Time.Time is what's right for us.This pain we feel will not be gone when we step foot outside this house. It will not be gone tomorrow,or next week,or even a month from now.But each day may get a little bit easier to deal with, until we barely feel their absence anymore. But the most important thing that we have to do is try."
It wasn't an answer.It wasn't a solution.It was a direction.
Smitten glanced at Hero, and he saw a conflict within his eyes, and if Smitten tried hard enough,he could imagine what the Long Quiet would look like in this moment. He quickly rid himself of those thoughts, knowing that it would only hurt him more in the long run.
Truthfully,he did it to avoid thinking about Skeptic's words.Try?Try to forget about his love?Did he even deserve to do that?
"I guess,"Hero spoke up then,sounding unsure but hopeful,"I guess that could make living-like this-easier."
Then there were two pairs of eyes on him,and it was beginning to feel too much for Smitten, right up until Skeptic squeezed his hand softly and said, "Smitten? Are you okay?"
He stared at Skeptic-before bursting into soft cries and weeps, curling into himself as his wings hit the floor.
"I-I don't deserve to forget this pain,"he admitted, hugging himself tightly as both Hero and Skeptic hovered around him in concern."I failed her.Who would I be if I didn't constantly mourn our love?"
He was ready for this to be his fate, his punishment for not saving his beloved-but then there was Skeptic, quickly stepping up to him,his voice a soothing whisper as he went,"Hey,hey,it's alright, you're gonna be okay."He cupped Smitten's face, wiping away his tears with his thumbs, and Smitten couldn't help but lean in to the sweet embrace, and he was faintly aware that Hero was rubbing his back as well.
Skeptic smiled at him and whispered,"Everything's gonna be okay. You were the smitten voice, remember? Not the voice that was specifically in love with the princess. You're just full of love for everything, and that's why we all love you,Smitten."
He could only cry harder, and even Skeptic's smile began to wobble as he continued,"This pain will pass, for all of us,until it's just a sore memory in the back of our minds-and one day,you are going to love someone or something with your whole heart, and they're going to love you even more for that. But until that day comes,I need you to try, every single day,to live until this becomes bearable. Can you do that for me?"
Smittn wasn't sure if he believed in himself. But he believed that Skeptic deserved to relax every once in a while. He believed that Hero should never feel lonely or abandoned ever again.
So for them, for his love of his beautiful flock-he nodded his head.
Almost a month and a half later,Smitten began gardening, and he cried tears of joy as he watched the first flower bloom, and both Hero and Skeptic were both by his side to witness it.

DIY Santa pt.2
Daryl Dixon x F!Reader
Summary: Part 2 to 'DIY Santa', after walking Judith home, you run into 'Santa' and you both elaborate a little bit on your 'Christmas wishes'
Setting: Alexandria
Warnings: Suggestive content but nothing too explicit
Word Count: 2,455
A/N: OKAY OKAY IM SORRY HERE IT IS FUCK ! In my defence, I'll say in twd they lost track of days and yes I am posting this on janurary 11th but for all we know, they could have celebrated Christmas in Janurary because they don't know the date ! Lol but fr sorry this took so long, I just couldn't figure out exactly how I wanted it to go. And I was in a bit of a writing slump after Christmas, then school started and ugh idk. But I'm back now and I've got tons of ideas and I think I wanna open up requests ??? We'll see... anyways, I hope y'all enjoy this very very very late part two to my little Christmas one shot !!!
(Divider made by me :) )
“What did you ask Santa for?” Judith asked as she swung your interlocked hands. Laughing, you told her, “I asked Santa to make sure your wish comes true.” You looked down at the little girl and gave her a big smile. She squealed in excitement and began making plans for you two to go on daily loops of the neighborhood when she got her new skates. You zoned out a bit as she went on, thinking about if you had maybe been too forward with Daryl. Maybe he wasn’t really looking for anything, just flirting with you out of boredom. You made a plan to try and avoid him for the next few days, in hopes that the possible awkwardness will diffuse by the next time you have to go on a run together.
As the two of you finally reached Rick and Michonne’s porch the sun had set, leaving the streets of Alexandria in a dark blue hue. Michonne opened the door and Judith ran inside to tell Rick all about seeing Santa. “Thanks again for taking her, she insisted that you were the one to do it.” Michonne laughed. “It was really no trouble at all, definitely worth it to see Daryl dressed up as Santa.” You laughed in response. “And by the way, she wants rollerskates and a jump rope for Christmas.” You whispered to Michonne. “Ah well, I think I can make a jump rope happen.” You were both thankful that Judith had kept her Christmas wishes simple. “Yeah, shouldn’t be too hard to find. I think I remember seeing rollerskates at that old sports supply store a few towns over. I was gonna grab those for her, I’ll look for a jump rope while I’m out.” The lack of sun was making the air even colder and unfortunately, you had opted for just jeans and a thin long sleeve today. You wrapped your arms around yourself to try and keep warm as you two spoke.
“That would be amazing if you could! God, it’s cold. Do you wanna come in for a minute? We have some soup left over if you want any.” She kindly offered. As enticing as that sounded, you wanted nothing more than to curl up in your own bed and read a bit before going to sleep. You had recently found yourself a thick fluffy comforter that was absolute heaven on the colder nights. “Thanks for the offer, but I’m gonna head back, found some new books the other day I’ve been dying to start.” You gave her a warm smile and she gave you a hug before you turned to leave.
The slight wind from earlier began to pick up as you trudged down the street and back to your house. It was so quiet outside, almost like it was just another normal day and there weren’t dead people walking around just outside these walls. It made you think of before, and the evenings when you would walk home from your grandparent’s house after dinner, the street lights flickering as you walked down the empty streets listening to music. You would give anything to be able to do that just one more time. As you walked past the gazebo, you saw the last family leaving. Daryl stood up and stretched as Carol began to clean up. You slowed your pace just a bit as you got closer. You weren’t planning on stopping, but you were hoping you could get a sense of how Daryl was feeling after that interaction. Hopefully, he would wave if he saw you?
Daryl waved Carol off, telling her that he would take care of it. As she turned to leave, she spotted you, calling out “Hi (Y/N)! Thanks for stopping by!” You gave her a smile and a nod as you continued walking. Daryl hadn’t said anything, so you assumed he had felt weird about what happened. You began to pick up your pace just a bit before you heard, “Hey!” Turning around, you saw Daryl at the gazebo waving you over. Maybe it hadn’t been as awkward as you thought… hopefully.
You slowly turned and headed in the direction of the gazebo, its dull twinkling lights being the only thing shining through the dark. As you approached, Daryl slowly walked towards you. When you two finally met at the steps, he gave you a warm smile. “I hope Jude had a good time meetin’ Santa.” He said, with air quotes around the ‘Santa’. You laughed a warm laugh and replied, “Yeah, I think she did. Not sure if she actually believed you were ‘Santa’, but I think she had fun.” He chuckled and a small silence filled the space between you, but it didn’t feel awkward. If anything, it kinda felt…comfortable. You looked down at your feet, trying yet again to hide the warmth on your cheeks. The wind blowing around you making it cold enough that you had to wrap your arms around yourself again.
“Oh, here, lemme give ya this,” Daryl said, running up the steps to grab his coat. As he came back to you, you tried to argue, “No, really it's fine, I’m not that cold.” But the chatter in your teeth told him otherwise. “You don’t always gotta be like that,” He said, as he walked behind you to drape his coat over your shoulders. When he positioned himself back in front of you, he grabbed the two sides and pulled them tighter around you. “Like what?” You asked, confusion obvious in your voice. “Ya know, like yer always fine and dun need help. Puttin’ others ahead of yerself.” He chuckled, “I know yer gonna say now that I need it more than ya do, and yer warm enough with that thin long sleeve on.”
“I was not gonna say that…” you tried to retort, but he knew you better than that. He gave you a knowing look and you couldn’t hold back your smile. “I would have worded it differently.” You both chuckled and returned to the silence, just staring into each other's eyes. It was almost pitch black out now, but the dim glow of the moon and the string lights lit the small area around you. Daryl looked angelic in the soft warm light, and you couldn’t keep yourself from breaking eye contact to look at his lips. He smirked, the movement bringing you back to reality. “So what does Santa want for Christmas?” you tried, being half flirty, but also half serious. Talk about someone who's hard to get gifts for…
“I think Santa,” he started, stepping closer to you. You kept your arms wrapped tightly around yourself and looked up at him through your lashes as he got close enough that you could feel just a whisper of his hot breath on your face. The smell of cigarettes brushed past your nose as he continued, “Would like to find his Ms.Claus fer Christmas.” You tried not to look shocked as he spoke in a low tone. As cool as you could, you leaned closer to him and whispered, “Is that so?” He smirked at you again and gently reached up to brush a strand of hair out of your face. His fingers were soft but warm, and that warmth burned through you as he moved his hand to cup the side of your head. “Mhm,” he replied as he leaned in towards your face.
You were so close now, that your noses almost touched. Every exhale he made swept across your face like the wind from a flame at a campfire. The smell of cigarettes had never smelled so enticing before, and you felt like you could get a buzz just from breathing him in. You weren’t sure if time had actually slowed, or if you were just so comfortable around him that the silence wasn’t noticeable. You opened your mouth slightly, to breathe out “That’s funny, because what I really wanted for Christmas was to be Ms. Claus…”
If time had been slowed before, now someone had hit fast forward. It happened so quickly but so smoothly that you didn’t even have time to register what was going on. At some point, Daryl had wrapped his free hand around your waist and pulled you in closer. Using that hand that was cradling your head, to tilt it slightly upwards so that your lips landed right on his. He tasted sweeter than you would have thought, and you basked in the taste for a moment before you started to match his movements. It was a tender and gentle kiss, but you could feel the need and desire behind it. Like it was second nature, you unwrapped your arms from around your sides and brought your hands up to his head, tangling your fingers in his long locks. He moaned slightly into your mouth, causing you to grip and tug lightly at his hair.
He exhaled roughly and gripped your waist tighter, pulling you into him as much as he could. You felt yourself slightly leaning in his grip, your knees beginning to feel like they would give out. The way you moved against each other was like a practiced dance, like you had been doing this for years and didn’t know any different. It felt right, and you didn’t understand how you had survived before without this. Slowly, he broke the kiss and pulled back enough to rest his forehead against yours. The both of you were so out of breath, that you just stood there for a moment, exhaling into each other's mouths.
When you finally came back down, you removed your hands from his hair and rested them on his shoulders. He moved his to the small of your back, thumbs gently rubbing in soothing circles. “I think my Christmas wish just came true…” You whispered to him, this time not trying to hide your blush or bite back your smile. “Mine too” He replied, mirroring your grin. He leaned down again to quickly peck you on the lips before grabbing the fallen coat on the ground. You had been so mesmerized in the moment, that you didn’t even notice it falling off. “Now let's get ya home. It’s too cold for a pretty little thang like ya out here.” He chuckled as he put the coat back on you.
You looked at him with so much love and adoration that it made his heart flutter. He put his arm around your shoulder and the two of you walked toward your house. The walk was short and quiet, the two of you basking in the silence of the world. All the houses were dark as you walked down the sidewalk, and the moon was now the only source of light. As you approached your house, you both walked up the steps and you turned to look at him as you rested your back against the door. He leaned down to rest one hand above your head and gently grabbed your waist with the other.
Smiling, he spoke in a low voice, “Now are you gonna invite me in? Or am I gonna have ta come down yer chimney?” You couldn’t help but giggle. You glanced down at your feet for a moment, trying to calm your heart rate, before looking up at him and biting your lip. Slowly, you leaned in, looking up at him through your lashes, “I’ll invite you in,” taking a beat to stare at his lips before making eye contact again and continuing, “If you promise to also come down my chimney…” With that he moved his hand from above your head to the doorknob, holding your waist so you didn’t fall as he opened the door.
The next morning the two of you tried to stagger your exits in hopes of preventing rumors from spreading around the small community. Daryl had left out your back door about thirty minutes earlier, while you took a little extra time to get ready (and to dress yourself carefully enough to hide the marks on your neck). As you left the house, you spotted Carol and Judith in the garden and headed their way.
“Hi Jude!” You called out as you approached the two. “Aunt (Y/N)!” she shouted as she ran towards you to give you a hug. You knelt down to catch the little girl and picked her up. She started telling you all about the tricks she was gonna do with her new jump rope when she got it as you walked toward Carol. “Thanks again for setting all that up.” You told her as you set Judith down. “Of course! I’m glad you had fun.” She replied then looked down at Judith. The two of them shared a look that confused you. “What?” you said, laughing. The two of them looked at you and then back to each other, Judith bursting out in laughs while Carol tried to hold hers in. “Oh nothing,” Carol said as she looked back again at Judith, the little girl unable to stop giggling.
“Aunt Carol said she saw Aunt (Y/N) kissing Santa Claus!” The little girl squealed before running to hide behind Carol, her laughs never ceasing. You stared at Carol with a shocked look and were speechless. You tried to stutter some sort of explanation, but nothing was coming out. “I-Um-It wasn’t-We just-” Every sound you made just made it worse. Little Judith started skipping around the garden in circles chanting, “(Y/N) kissed Santa Claus! (Y/N) kissed Santa Claus!” You tried to hide your face with your hands in embarrassment, “Oh my God.” Was all you could finally say. “Oh honey,” Carol said, placing a hand on your shoulder. “We’ve all been wondering when it would finally happen” You dragged your hands down your face before meeting her eyes. “I also saw that Santa spent the night, but we can keep that between us” She whispered in your ear.
“OH MY GOD. OKAY. BYE! SEE YOU GUYS LATER!” You said as you turned and walked away. You could hear the two of them laughing behind you as you speed-walked away. You turned back and rolled your eyes at them in a playful way so that they knew you weren’t upset…just embarrassed…very embarrassed. You couldn’t wait to see Daryl later and find out how they had harassed them. Your heart sped up at the thought of seeing him again, sure it may be a bit embarrassing to feel like a schoolgirl in love, but it also felt good. Like finally, your heart was starting to beat again after having been still since the world ended. Your Christmas wish definitely came true.

Naruto, Sasuke & Sakura having a crush on you!
headcanons !
tw: a little bit of angst? just a tiny amount
includes: naruto, sasuke, sakura
Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto can’t help but wear his heart on his sleeves. Subtlety? He’s never heard of that. He’ll always burst into your inner space with his usual smile and cheery words.
It’s painfully obvious he wants to be near you, spending any and all excuses to be together. He’ll always make time for you.
“Don’t tell me you’re scared?” He’ll tease you if you decline training.
He’s extra animated when you’re around, talking louder, laughing harder and doing anything he can to get your attention.
Naruto’s biggest giveaways is endless compliments and admiration for you. He’ll find any and every opportunity to hype you up. Even if it was the most basic thing.
“Whoa you’re so smart.” “Uh, it was just 1+1?” “Still smart!”
Physical touch is so important to him. Expect playful nudges, head ruffles and hugs so tight that it knocks out your breath.
If anyone tries to flirt with you, he’ll shove himself between you two. Pulling you away with some flimsy joke.
If he is feeling more jealous than usual, he’ll try to embarrass them but ends up tripping over his own feet. Ends up working in his book since you’re paying attention to him.
Despite his confidence, there’s a deep layer of insecurity in him. It shows when he’s fidgeting, scratching the back of his head and stammering his words. He wants to impress you so badly, but sometimes feels unworthy of your affection.
Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke? A complete mess. He likes to think he’s nonchalant, but in actuality cares a lot more than he lets on. He’ll always deny it, but the way he tenses up gives him away.
He shows his affection through action more than words. Giving you advice after sparring, standing close during missions and giving you snacks if you say you’re hungry. (He always has leftover onigiri.)
Even though Sasuke doesn’t say much, his words mean a lot.
His dry humour shows when it’s just you two. Underhanded teasing, but it’s his own awkward way of connecting with you.
“You’re slower than I expected. I guess I’ll have to carry you, hm?”
Don’t tease him back, he’ll become too flustered and won’t be able to speak coherently for the rest of the day.
He is also very protective. After all he lost almost everyone he cared about. You won’t leave him either, will you?
If you get injured during a mission, his entire demeanor changes. His usual stoic expression replaced by a frantic need that you’re okay.
“You’re so careless.” He’ll grumble, yet his hands are shaking while wrapping up your bandages.
He is sincere in everything he does. He truly wants the best for you and sometimes he feels that may not include him.
Sakura Haruno
Sakura’s feelings are a complete rollercoaster. One minute she’s composed and confident and the next she’s tripping over her words and blushing so hard that her face almost resembles her hair.
She’ll fuss over your health, repeatedly lecturing you about how dangerous it is to overexert yourself. She remembers everything regarding you and will always remind you stuff you’ve forgotten. Ensuring you’re being taken care of.
“Honestly, do I have to keep an eye on you all the time?” But there’s a soft look on her face that says she wouldn’t mind that.
Small moments are precious to her and she loves to share them with you. Chatting over tea, shopping together and maybe even just walking around the village. It’s her way of showing that she wants you in her life.
When she’s nervous, she gets defensive. Especially when you catch her staring or tease her about how much she cares.
“Don’t read too much into it!” She’ll playfully shove you while her ears turn a deep shade of red. (That push might leave bruises..)
She’s very protective. If someone even thinks of crossing you, they’ll get a piece of her mind and maybe even her fists. That includes people who flirt at you.
She sometimes acts very extra when she knows you’re watching. Whether it’s during missions or when she’s healing you. She wants you to see her as someone capable and strong. After all, she wants your acknowledgment more than anything else.

Yandere story idea #33:
Yandere hazbin hotel idea x reader:
Let's start with the boys first.
Here's a little idea of how I think the guys at Hazbin Hotel would react if you tried to escape or left them.
Yandere Lucifer Morningstar:
I don't think that after suffering the abandonment of his first wife (Lilith) and the estrangement between him and Charlie, he would like the idea of you leaving him. I like to think of Lucifer as a yandere who is a combination of an emotionally dependent yandere and a mildly possessive yandere who, no matter what you do or say, will not let you go.
Yandere Alastor:
If he were human, he probably wouldn't accept it and would hunt you down with an axe. If you're not his, you're not anyone's, so run little daisy!.
If he is the radio demon everyone knows he won't let you go either. It doesn't matter which part of hell you run to or with whom; if you even mention this idea to him, he will most likely laugh in your face and then punish you or say "Don't think about that stupid thing. I will always find you."
Yandere Angel Dust:
I haven't read any yandere fics about Angel Dust and therefore, I don't have a solid basis to imagine him in that aspect. What I can say is that he wouldn't take it well (like any other yandere) and he might even feel betrayed and quite indignant at the fact that you just dumped him from one day to the next.
Yandere Husk:
He would be angry, indignant, and just like Angel, he would feel betrayed that you had left him, run away, or even proposed such an idea to him. However, he would also be bewildered.
Yandere Sr.Pentious:
Well, Pentious is in heaven so I guess it would be the other way around XD.
I haven't read anything by Pentious either, so I can only say that he would be disappointed and frustrated with your escape or breakup, and like any yandere, he wouldn't accept it.
Yandere Valentino:
"Who do you think you are?, are you stupid?" He would probably tell you angrily (or mockingly) before grabbing you by the neck or hair and dragging you back to his domain. You better apologize, because he won't show you any mercy for daring to defy him.
Yandere Vox:
If you remember my previous prompt or phrase for him or not, I'll leave it here:
"Do you think you can beat me in my own game?!"
"(Y/n), don't forget one important thing: I'M ON EVERYWHERE YOU GO and always watching your steps, so don´t think about the stupidity of leaving me!"
He, like Valentino and the others, is a jealously control freak. Even if you leave the V's tower, he had eyes in every place (except for the Hazbin Hotel and maybe Cannibal Alley), but you still wouldn't be safe from his clutches. Following this, Vox will likely want to control or hypnotize you so that you won't even think of trying to escape from him again.
Yandere Adam:
I would think he will be like Lucifer, but more angrier, frustrated or agressive.
There's two posibilities:
#1: He mocks at you for your failed escaped attempt and then drag you back to his side by force.
#2: He will be angrier, and the he drags you or punish you.
PS: If you were sent to hell, he will take advantage of the extermination to pay you a visit and teach you a lesson about what happens when you try to escape from him (or he will only do it to get revenge after having left him).
-The End.
This is the first time i wrote something about Hazbin Hotel, so I know there are some flaws that I hope to correct over time. For now I have in mind to write small things about other fandoms to feel more confident about myself.

The next part to that downfall IAU thing I posted a week or two or whenever it was about Twi's escape! He is... still on the run. Not having a good time.
The fic before this
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
He’d made it outside.
He only half remembered getting there, but Twilight had made it outside.
Twilight wiped his nose, looking up at the sky. The day had started off a little cloudy, but at this point it was grey and bleak, clouds reducing the sun to nothing but a washed-out smear. It had started raining at some point, Twilight forgot when, but it dripped water down his face and soaked his hair and clothes. The whole world seemed grey, and Twilight shivered as he did his best to hurry down the street.
He stumbled on a puddle, nearly falling on his face, and Twilight leaned against a wall for a minute, trying to get himself to focus. He was... having trouble thinking. That last shock had been really bad.
Twilight squeezed his eyes shut, then shook his head and kept going. His ears were constantly swiveling as he walked, listening for threats or any sign of him being followed. Every time he heard a siren he jumped, and he had to duck into an alley more than once when another super or someone official went by. Luckily his hearing gave him plenty of warning, otherwise he probably wouldn’t have made it as far as he had. As it was he’d had way too many close calls, and nearly collapsed more than once.
He had to keep reminding himself what he was doing. He was struggling to remain on task, focusing nearly impossible. Dull throbs of pain buzzed through him, his whole body hurting, chest and head especially. Twilight debated on and off if transforming would be better, but he didn’t get anywhere with the thought.
Four legs would help with balance. A wolf would be much more visible. But they were looking for him either way, he wasn’t sure if it would even matter.
He didn’t know. His head hurt.
Twilight reached a street corner and paused, pressing a hand to his face and rubbing. Where was he even trying to go? He knew distance and safety was the goal. He remembered that. But where? Home?
A pang hit his chest at the thought, and Twilight frowned. That didn’t seem right. Hadn’t he thought it through and decided to go somewhere else? But where would he even go? He wanted to go home, more than just about anything at the moment. But home probably wasn’t safe.
Is anywhere safe?
Twilight breathed in shakily, and pushed himself off the wall he’d slumped against, trying to walk normally through the streets. He’d swiped a shirt and pants from a clothesline and ditched his sleep clothes, but he knew he was still recognizable by the people hunting him. Mask or no mask, they knew who he was.
At least the civilians didn’t. Nobody gave him much of a second glance, even when he did stumble, keeping their heads bowed against the rain. It was only a matter of time before his real face got released though, which meant Twilight needed to hurry.
Hurrying was... very hard, though.
His legs wobbled more the further he went, his vision smearing and thoughts scattering like dust in the wind. That same ache still radiated across his skin, and every step hurt, bruises aching, head pounding. He was nowhere near home, but Twilight was close to collapsing.
He would have to stop and rest. There was no getting around it.
Twilight slightly changed direction, heading in what he hoped was the right direction of the park. There were plenty of places there he could hide. And if he was a wolf, people would be even less inclined to bother him, probably assuming he was an unusually-sized stray dog.
He would just take a quick nap. Rest his aching body then get moving again.
Twilight blinked, green and orange swimming into his vision. The sound of the road and general city bustle was dimmed here, and he exhaled, fallen leaves crunching as he made for the stream that ran through the park. He’d made it.
Maybe he wasn’t quite as far gone as he’d feared.
The plants and trees were thicker by the water, and Twilight slipped into them, falling to his knees as he let his transformation ripple through him. It hurt way more than usual, and Twilight bit back a cry, biting the inside of his already abused mouth. He was collapsed in the mud by the time it finished, and Twilight swallowed, shakily getting to four paws. Now he just needed a good spot.
It didn’t take him long to find a nice thick bush, brambles around and over top it. It was right by the water, beside some trash somebody had left behind, and relief hit him as he studied it. Nobody would go over here unless they had to.
Twilight lost some fur slipping beneath the prickly branches, but it was worth the additional pain. Between the mud and garbage and thick thorny bush, he actually felt pretty safe.
Twilight had barely curled up before he passed out.
(...)
Footsteps.
Twilight woke in a dizzy haze, blinking in confusion at the darkness surrounding him. It had been mid-morning when he’d curled up here, how..?
More footsteps, slower and cautious now, and Twilight froze, only moving his ears. One pair of feet. Stepping lightly. Heading his direction.
Twilight swallowed back a whine and stayed low, breathing in to try and get the scent of whoever it was. Sometimes homeless people hung around down here, but none of them would be stepping with so much care. And the scent he was picking up...
“Twilight?” a voice whispered, and Twilight froze, the voice a familiar one.
...Warriors?
“Don’t come out,” the voice continued, still in a whisper so low Twilight could barely hear it. “If I don’t see you I can tell the truth more easily.”
Twilight felt himself begin to shake, not sure what to think. The rest had barely helped him, and his whole body still ached, head pounding, chest sore. His stomach felt hollow with hunger (when was the last time he’d eaten?), his bones ached with a damp chill, and Warriors... he hadn’t seen his uncle in ages. Could he trust him?
He wanted to. So badly.
He just didn’t know.
“You probably don’t trust me,” Warriors continued, keeping his voice so quiet only Twilight could hear it. “I wouldn’t trust me either. But I’m only here to warn you. Don’t go home. They’re expecting you there.”
Twilight stayed as still as he could with his trembling, rain drumming steadily on the leaves around him and landing on his nose. He didn’t know what to do.
“Nobody knows I’m here,” Warriors whispered with pain in his voice. “Or, well, if they do, they’ll think I just paused to stare at the water.” A bitter laugh went through the air. “Maybe I am. Maybe I’m just convincing myself you’re here somewhere and that my guess was right because I’ve already failed Time once today. I don’t know.”
Twilight heard a shuddery inhale through the rain.
“I brought you food. I’ll leave it here,” Warriors softly continued. “I wish I could do more, but I’m being watched, I’m... I’m so sorry. Don’t give up, Twi.”
Twilight heard something land on the mud and leaves close to where he was hiding, and then the footsteps trailed away, crossing over the bridge at the stream and fading into the distance until Twilight couldn’t hear them.
Twilight waited even longer, shivering with hunger and pain, and then cautiously crept out, fur snagging on thorns. A small bag sat a few feet away, and Twilight crawled towards it, ears still swiveling for any sign that this was a trap.
He gave it a rapid sniff for anything suspicious when he reached it, then snagged it in his teeth, withdrawing to the bush again. The zipper wouldn’t come open with his fangs, so Twilight transformed again, biting back the cry that tried to escape. The moment he could move again he quickly unzipped the bag, then began devouring the protein bars inside. There were only two along with a bottle of water, but it was enough.
Twilight actually felt a bit human again when he finished, and he searched the tiny bag more thoroughly for anything useful... or suspicious. The only thing he found was a flashlight, a few stray bandaids, and a tiny, barely legible note.
Twilight shoved everything in his pocket, then fished the note out and squinted, trying to keep it dry as he read. He may have had reasonable night vision, but it was still really dark out here, and Warriors had written so small it was almost impossible to read. Finally Twilight managed to puzzle it out, though when he did, it actually wasn’t very helpful.
Epona’s been bridled, but her fur is still pink.
Twilight stared, squinted, and read it again, beyond confused. Epona? What on earth could Warriors mean by mentioning Malon’s horse from... oh.
Oh Mom.
Twilight swallowed thickly, his stomach dropping out.
They must have gotten Mom.
Twilight squeezed his eyes shut, crumpling the note and curling back up on the ground. The food had helped, but he still felt exhausted, and the news of Mom was... it was too much right now. He should be using the darkness and terrible weather to his advantage, but the idea of getting up and moving felt suddenly overwhelming.
The second half of the message made it seem like Legend was still out there, at least that’s what Twilight hoped it meant, but...
Mom.
Twilight’s breath shuddered, and he fought against the way his mind tried to go back to when they’d lost Dad, some of the last words he’d ever heard from him ringing in his ears.
Take care of your mother and Legend.
“I’m trying,” he rasped, curling up tighter with his knees to his forehead. “I’m trying.”
He’d already failed on one of those counts.
Twilight’s breath shuddered, rain dripping on his head, his limbs aching and sore. He was exhausted. He was hurt. He had no clue if Legend or his mother or anyone was okay.
What did he have left?
An oddly warm drop of rain fell down his cheek, and Twilight buried his face in his arms.
(...)
When he woke up again it was still dark, but in a different way.
The rain had stopped, though Twilight was still wet and freezing where he lay under the bramble bush. His stomach felt empty again, only in a slightly less desperate way than it had before, and he groaned, grimacing at the taste in his mouth. He’d kill for some toothpaste.
Twilight licked his lips once, then carefully sat up as much as he could, hissing through his teeth at the ache in his body. All of him hurt, from his head to his feet. And the pain only got worse when he remembered what had happened earlier.
Mom...
Twilight breathed out shakily, trying to focus. He felt slightly more clearheaded, but he still felt stuck in a fog of dizziness and pain. Could he risk another few hours here to try and rest a bit longer?
Twilight screwed his eyes shut, then reopened them. No. He had to get moving. This bush wouldn’t be safe forever, especially if Warriors gave up his location. Purposely or not.
A lump settled in his throat. Had Warriors known? Did he try and help Mom? Was he waiting out of sight for Twilight to come out right now?
Too many questions.
Twilight bit back what he knew would end up being a pitiful sound, and took a deep breath. Then he braced himself as he transformed back into a wolf again. It felt terrible, exhaustion weighing him down, his emotions dragging at him, but Twilight pushed through it with a snarl. He had to lie down and catch his breath for several minutes, but once he did, he carefully stood, and nosed his way out of the bush.
He had to figure out where Legend was. That was his mission right now. Keep himself safe, and find his brother.
Easy.
Twilight held back a whine, and started to make his way out of the park, dodging puddles and piles of leaves. He could guess where Legend would hide if needed, but unfortunately they had more than one backup plan, and he didn’t know if Legend had made it home before the order had been issued. And that changed things.
Twilight paused at the park’s exit, and looked down the road, streetlights reflecting off of the pavement in smears of yellowish color. Where should he try first? Would it be better for him to—
A siren blared from somewhere, and Twilight dove for cover, headlights turning a corner and scraping past where he’d been standing mere seconds ago. Another siren joined the first, and when Twilight saw that both cars had slowed down, he bolted, running away from the lights and praying he wouldn’t be seen.
That hope was neatly dashed when headlights shone straight at him, and Twilight broke into a sprint, shouts ringing in his ears.
Bad luck? A set up?
Something whizzed past his ear, and despite Twilight’s exhaustion he began to serpentine as he ran, ducking behind bushes and cars, erratically changing direction.
His tongue lolled as he ran, paws pounding against the pavement. Little jolts of pain went up whenever his paws hit the ground, but Twilight pushed past them, pressing his body to move faster, ears pricked for more shouts, eyes roving for further lights.
He wasn’t going to get caught. Not now. Not ever.
He would make it. For Legend. For Zelda and Champion. For Wind and Four.
For Mom.
Twilight grit his teeth in a snarl and kept running, hearing the squeal of tires behind him and seeing flickers of light cast on nearby buildings.
For everyone.

Chapter 9
For a moment the room was dead silent, neither of them spoke a word to one another until she let a sigh slip past her lips.
“What did you want to talk about, im kinda tired Jungwon if you don’t have anything to say then-“
“What did you mean when you said that I ditched you?”
“Jungwon, are we really talking about this again? You’re really going to act like you don’t know? I waited for you every night after the night of my party. I went to the park so many times hoping that you would be there waiting for something but you never were there”
“So you’re going to blame me when you never even bothered to reach out? I sent you countless letters, even tried to reach Eless and the others since I know you didn't have a phone. You never wrote me back, you never told them to call? You completely disappeared after that, no trace of yet everyone around me kept asking and asking even when i tried to forget you i was still being haunted by you.”
“Letters? Jungwon, I never got any letters?”
“I wrote to you every week for two months…yet you never wrote me back.”
“Jungwon, my father , had me training like some crazy person for four months straight. I didn’t get any letters, he never even told me that you wrote to me.”
“So you never…you never got any of them, not one?”
“Not any of them…if I had known then I would have written you back, I wanted nothing more than to talk to you that entire time because you were the only one i knew that would have given me comfort or made me smile, you were all I had.”
“If you didn’t get them then why did you send me that letter telling me not to come over anymore, not to write anymore?”
“Jungwon, what are you talking about? I never sent you anything?”
4 months earlier
Jungwon sat in his room pacing back and forth, he had been staring at the door for hours hoping for one of the housekeepers to enter the room with a letter from her. Did he make things awkward with his first letter? Should he not have confessed to her in that way? Maybe it would have been better face to face. Was that the reason she hadn't written him back because of the first letter he sent confessing his feelings?
He was going crazy not having heard from her in two months, two whole months, the two had never gone so long without speaking to one another, since they were kids the longest they’d gone without talking to one another was often a week. He waited days, then weeks , then months until he could no longer wait anymore, until he came to the conclusion that you simply didn’t like him, that you no longer wanted to be friends with him because he had made things awkward.
Though when he had finally lost all hope a letter had finally come. His heart sank in his chest upon reading the contents of the letter.
Dear Wonnie,
Please don’t show up here anymore, don’t send anymore letters, all it will do is cause distractions. Thank you for being there for me but i don’t want you coming here anymore.
Yours dearly yn
Jungwon was heartbroken, just like that she had cut him off? After months of hearing nothing from her this was the letter she had chosen to send him?
The next morning she woke with far too many heavy things weighing on her, having found out her father hid Jungwons letters. Her father not showing up last night, she was now holding in so much anger, so much resentment- all because of her father. No matter how busy she kept herself throughout the entire day she couldn’t shake the feeling of betrayal that she had been experiencing all because of her father.
As she pushed herself out of bed and went to get washed up, her thoughts drifted back to last night between her and Jungwon, what had those letters said? She wondered if her father even still had them or had he thrown them away?
She had been in the middle of brushing her teeth when Aleera burst into her room, leaning over the bed and trying to catch her breath as if she had just run a mile.
“You Yo”
“Do I need to get you a defibrillator?” Seconds later fawna had appeared in the doorframe, her gaze dead set on yn.
“Your father is here”
