-His father left him early with six leading his mother into a Permissive parenting style their relastionship was clearly strained after his father left his mother

-She still loved her litle son..not for too long though in a fall evening Matt's mother picked him up from his friends house and just about 13 minutes later their car chrashed its like a switch flipped in Matt's mother in her hospital bed she could't even bare to see her son blaming him for the accident because SHE needed to pick HIM up as soon as she got released she told him open and honest she cant handle him anymore or alone stand him with the demand to pack his stuff she give him one last tense ride before leaving him in the orphanage

-He was 11 when he got in the Wammy's house

-His parents were both married his mother had a Uninvolved parenting style and his father had a authoritarian parenting style the reslove= Feeling not good enough and being very emotinal though Mello was mostly driven by supressed anger or stress

-He had a poor relastionship to his father and it felt like his mother didnt take care of him in school he got very good grades but he kept misbehaving or competed with other kids or would even fight with them did he start the fights? Mostly not but he also stole from two stores and got cough once Mello's father did not appreciate the trouble even after he gave so many punishments and at one agurment he just snapped and threatend to put him into a orphanage mello didnt belive it and contuined the next day his stuff got packed for him and he faced wammy's house

-He got into the wammys house with 12

-He had always lived with his Father and grandma he got raises with a Authoritative style his father was in awe when he saw that he got such a gifted litle boy he bhought him puzzles and color books though Near was mostly interested in the puzzles Near's father would laugh in glee and proud when he got a high test score

-His father found out about Wammy's house and offerd Near to bring him there explaining how they would fall apart but Near could lock in with a good stable future for a price of being L's next successor and how how could proof his skills Near thought about it for the weekend before agreeing 4 months after he joined wammy's house his father died by kira's hands due to comitting armed roberry

“chishiya can you grab something from the top shelf for me please” you stood on your tippie toes but the itim felt ad if it kept getting farther and farther away, the slight huff in annoyance escaped your lips as you hear chishiya snicker at you.

“i dont even know why you are laughing shuntaro.” your voice came out cold, “youre not much taller then me..” you side-eyed the dyed blonde. he had a stupid cheshire like smile on his face. “i may not be 6’1 but im still taller.” he cheekily smiled at you.

you smiled at him pointing towards the, “flour.” it was soft yet stern tone with a smile plastered on your face; “mmm i wouldn’t say i liked the way you asked me for the flour.” he had his hands in his pockets looking down at you. “this is kind of embarrassing,” you blinked multiple times while your lips formed a downward frown, “whats embarrassing? me looking down at you or you not being able to get some simple flour?” a chuckle stifled out his lips.

“maybe both, i just wanted some flour and tall king chishiya can’t get it.” a sarcastic dreamy sigh left your lips. chishiya rolled his eyes reaching up to grab you the flour. he handed you the box of flour while furrowing his eyebrows— “what do you even need this flour for? you aren’t baking anything..” he grabbed a pack of cookies from the pantry before closing it and leaning againts the pantry door.

“i didnt need it!” you held your hands behind your back, “i just wanted to see if you would reach for it.” he gave you a bore look, as if it was telling you that you can put the flour back yourself. “you’re so random.”

“WELL i just wanted your attention” a mischievous kid like smile was very well ontake on your face. “you literally could ask me for attention and i’ll give it to you.” “that’s a lie.” “only if you think it’s a lie then it’s a lie”

there we just a wave of silence that passed through, chishiya was just staring into your skull while you were acting like it’s a staring contest trying not to blink, your eyes were tearing up so you had to blink. “fuck!” you yelled out loud, a proud smile was plastered onto chishiya’s face.

“well since i have the flour out and you wont help me put it away, we should make something.” you put your hair up in a ponytail (short hair or long hair you decide) chishiya hugged you from behind placing a kiss on your crown, “what do you want to make chef?” he placed two more kisses on the crown of your head,

“mmm..i’m not too sure maybe something strawberry theme” you were scrolling through pinterest to find ideas, chishiya liked the idea of a strawberry dessert.

“i say we make a shortcake..” chishiya mentioned pointing at the shortcake recipe you passed on pinterest, you turned your head to look at him, “i like that idea, but you are going to help me make it!” yn grinned proudly; chishiya shrugged planting a small kiss on your cheek; a small giggle escaped your lips “if you keep giving me kisses we aren’t going to finish or even start the cake.”

“the cake can wait now. this is more important.” chishiya whispered giving you more kisses around the face. “you wanted the cake and now i’m craving it..” you giggled at the touch of the kisses. you quickly pecked him on the lips before pushing away. “lets do this cake come on chishi!” chishiya groaned at you escaping his grasp,

“can you get the vanilla extract..baking soda..salt..and sugar please!” you asked him as you went to the fridge to grab some eggs. “you’re so tall you can’t even reach them.” he snarled a comment, you quickly turned your head to him.

“if i were you i would shut up. i have some eggs in my hand right now.” you warned him, he puckered his lips before going to get the things you asked for. chishiya placed all the ingredients near you as he leaned against the countertop; his hands in his pocket.

“short person making a shortcake? this will be a sight to see.” chishiya watched as you mix the dry and the wets together in a bowl, you gave him a confused look causing him to have a stupid smirk on his face. “we can finally see which one is shorter.”

you stopped mixing the ingredients giving him a death stare look, “…you are so.” your face twitched—grabbing some flour from the box and throwing it at him. “..was that necessary??” he looked all at his clothes that have been covered with flour and his face and hair.

“if your short jokes were necessary thennnn the flour was necessary!!” you perked up your shoulders continuing the mixing. chishiya moved the bowl aside; grabbing you by the waist pulling him closer to you, “you wouldn’t mind having some flour on you for all the tall king jokes then?” his face that had flour on it was rubbed against you.

“CHISHIYAAAA” you huffed. a small smile was on his face, “you started it so i’m here to make this problem even bigger.” by the end of it, you had a bunch of flour on your face. he took a picture of a grumpy face flour covered you, “you look beautiful” he laughed giving you a small kiss on the lips. “i hate you.”

mmmmmm itd be a little funny if they just didnt have any. well okay thatz a lie, they DO have eyez, but not onez most ppl [ie, humanz] can see? if i had to compare whatz going on to something, itd be like how in soma, when ppl were put into robotz, their brainz refused to comprehend it, so instead showed them something they were familiar with. thatd be the case with poppyz eyez. they HAVE eyez, just none that we can comprehend, so to most people/beingz, theyd just be simple dark eyez. humanz see no eyez at all - just a void - but anything else that can SOMEWHAT see, though not entirely, just see darkness with a slight difference between pupil and the rest of it. possibly tinted blue? with little speckz of white.

👊 PUNCH - are they quick to violence?

i mean. they can float? and can probably go from one end of a swimming pool to another lol. but can they keep themselvez afloat if the waterz deeper than they are tall? fuck no lol. plus, all the layerz of their clothez way them down a ton. they know enough to survive long enough for someone to pull em out, or swim in a 'shallow' pool [maximum of 5'5'' deep tho any more than that and they Will throw a fit /j] but not enough to survive like. the OCEAN. in fact the thought iz mildly terrifying and theyd rather not, thankz!

mmmmmm. their friendz. they dont even have to be in danger, just a friend calling to them to come look at something. other partypooperz, some entitiez they know, or wandererz theyve befriended. they SHOULD know better, and usually they do stop and consider if itz actually them or something mimicking them or even just a trap in general, but well. they like their friendz! a lot lol.

dependz. mask on? they dont really care az long az nothing identifying in the picture. mask off? hoodie off? nah. fuck that. theyll break ur camera lol.

but if you ask nicely to take a picture theyll probably say yes. they stand so awkwardly tho theyre like when ur a kid and ur grandma makez u stand next to ur siblingz or cousinz or smthn and keepz telling u to get closer so u just stand there like "aaaaa" yknow? they stand like that lol. theyll usually have a hand in a pocket or holding something and doing a little peace sign with the other.

yes actually! theyre very quiet around strangerz, more tense and aware, and give very short responsez that often make them come of az rude on accident. around friendz theyre more outgoing, louder or just in general friendly. more willing to take off their jacket and hoodie, or move up their mask to drink stuff, yknow?

🔫 PISTOL - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

ehhhh not very well. they give wandererz the benefit of the doubt each time and enough trust to let them follow behind them, but other entitiez are on much thinner ice. it takez a lot to earn their trust, but unless you give proof you plan to hurt them, they wont leave you to just die, yknow? mmm. id say they have def been backstabbed on multiple occasionz, esp during the fun war - theyd be bringing a wanderer back only to LITERALLY get stabbed, or maybe a bat to the face, or getting kicked down to the ground. theyve managed to escape nearly every time with only minor injuriez or scratchez, but it defz hurtz each time, even if they expected it.

az for betraying someone.... well. theyd never betray their closest friendz. and theyd like to think that theyd never, EVER do such a thing for even an ultimatum.

but if they were given hard proof, actual evidence, of, say.. being able to leave the backroomz? or their friendz being forever safe and protected?
