here it goes the jamil-lover confession, then!

i've noticed a pattern in my life:

i have always been a disney girl. a disney villain girl. or villain girl, simply, because since i was 9 years old and watched eah (which was from mattel) the rebels were my team. but in disney i was always team villains. i liked the designs better, the music of the villains seemed better than the songs of the main characters, i have seen 30 times that halloween special of house of mouse, i know by heart songs and songs and songs of disney villains... etc.

At about 10-12 it came my ✨descendents✨ phase. i always loved the vk's, even more the four rotten, and i actually had sorta a crush on jay (he was one of my fav characters, i liked his looks and personality but i didn't even realize i was crushing on him, lol, the most Carlos shit ever 🤙🏻).

about two years ago i discovered Twisted Wonderland and it became my obsession. bam! died with jamil, i love him, he's my all, i want to do his hair, kiss him, eat his cooking and go to his club practices.

and about less than a year ago i got into the villain recruiters fandom, and my second fav, (after veil bc she queen<3), is farja. my question: AND THIS PATTERN WITH THE CHARACTERS BASED ON JAFAR WHAT THE FUCK IS IT!!?

the guy as a villain is great. there he stays! colour palette and eyeliners? very memorable, that's it. but defo he's not 'pulling looks' like, idk, the evil queen, for example. and then disney comes along and laughs in my face, takes the old misogynist and creates super hot variants, with long hair, great fashion sense, attitude, rounding the 17's years old and probably bisexuals or sum based on the bastard! i fall for it every time.

That's crazy 😭😭 I haven't seen the shows and stuff you've mentioned but its so funny that you consistently liked characters with the same vibes, it's like everything led up to you being into Jamil in the end 💥 I'm sure there are other people out there who have fav characters overlapping with yours, sometimes we just have a type y'know-

It's the whole reason he invited you. He knew the coach would be playing him today, and he was  certain that if he showed off his top tier skills, you wouldn't be able to help yourself! You'd be completely seduced by him.

He even took off his shirt at halftime, pretending he was trying to cool off, and dried off his (fake) sweat, slowly, with a towel. He asked Jamil to tell him when you were looking, but Jamil just told him he was being a dumbass, so he had to pay attention himself.

When the game was over, the NRC student section rushed the court, and you ran over to him with a grin. He greeted you with his own cocky smile, asking if you enjoyed yourself.

You told him he did amazing! And then came what he was waiting for. The congratulatory kiss on the cheek. He pretends he was flustered, but as I said, he planned this. He was really hoping you would kiss him on the lips, but beggars can't be choosers.

Next time though….ooh…next time he'll get a real kiss, whatever it takes!

Didn't even know you were coming. Your presence was a present from Kalim. he didn't even notice you until the final shot of the game, and then realized you just watched him dominate the court, not a speck of mercy in his eyes.

He won't snake whisper the memories away, but his hand will gently touch the spot your lips met his skin, as he watches you walk away. He'll smile softly, until Kalim finds him and asks if he did a good job by inviting you!

Invited you, then totally forgot about it. He fell into one of his moods an hour before the game, and was taking a nap on the bench.

Until half time…when he heard you cheering for the team. Suddenly, he's ready to play! Put him in, coach! He can do it!

Coach knows when Floyd cares, he's the star player, so he puts him in without hesitation. Any loss is quickly made up as Floyd dominates the court, all to impress you.

He's shameless about it. When he makes eye contact with you, he'll wink, roguishly. If he takes a shot, he'll shout, "Hey! Shrimpy!" Just to make sure you watch him.

The team quickly figures out why he's playing so well, and immediately start trying to figure out how to get you to every game. Floyd sees one of them mouth your name in the midst of their whispering, and he nearly forgets about the game, in favor of trying to fight the poor soul. Coach quickly stops him by reminding him you might not find that very nice. That puts Floyd back on track.

The second the buzzer sounds, and the game is over, he's bounding up the bleachers to swing you around in his strong arms. When he finally lets your feet touch the ground again, you tell him, with total admiration in your eyes, how impressed you were, and press a kiss to his cheek.

He's whining now, because you missed! Those aren't his lips! Don't kiss him unless you're gonna do it properly. 

Ah shit, now he's shoving spectators out of the way so he can lay you down and start kissing you "properly". No one can save you. And, frankly, only fools will even try to. The team and student section  sees you as a sacrifice to the eel, in exchange for a win. And Jade…well…he's not going to stop his brother from having a good time.

I love your one sided Floyd vs Ace thing because Ace is just trying to play wingman from the background so Yuu will stop talking about how Floyd's "Such a sweet boy!", like he didn't just try to take Aces head off during practice. And "He visited my class today" , yeah perfect, Floyd visited him today too. For very differnt reasons though. or "He just helped me dye my hair! Doesn't it look good?". It does but that's besides the point.

Bro Floyd is pining SO HARD rn it's not even funny anymore! He's always lost in fantasies but they're not even the hot kind! I like Ace's relationship with Yuu in pretty much all flavors, when I'm writing floydyuu I think of Ace as the self appointed mom friend/older brother. He likes the feeling of power and responsibility he gets from it since he's used to being the baby of the family. Floyd thinks that little shrimpy is funny and cute at first, someone he could chase around similar to Riddle.

But then they beat Azul. They beat Azul by annoying Sea Lion, who constantly ignores and mocks his attempts to fight him. They got under his skin, that's just on a different level. He's paying close attention now, and he likes what he sees. At first it's exciting, he likes new things and these feelings are certainly new. But it also makes him notice little things. Like how much closer you are to Crabby than you are to him. The jealousy just eats him up because he feels like he shouldn't be? Crabby kind of sucks? He's seen how his color changing magic is, he can't imagine he'd be a better option than him. But shrimpy giggles at his jokes and spends almost all their free time with him. He hates it, and it's starting to effect his... not quite but yeah kind of friendship with Crabby.

Meanwhile Yuu is savoring any sort of contact they can get with him. I love the hair dye suggestion, Floyd says he'll give you one color but really he just wants an excuse to put a streak of teal where his swoop would be on your head. He's too much of a coward to do it, going with whatever you request instead and how happy you are makes it almost worth it until you babble about how you'll have to show your friends how cool it is and what a good job he did. He makes a point of visiting Ace intending to threaten him but he ends up just whining about how he doesn't know how to get through to you, and asking if Ace knows anything about what a "french" is (he thinks it's a dessert) before he lapses into the silence of daydream while Ace wonders if it would be worth it to get Jamil involved.

Yuu gets the perv title for being into a literal fish on top ha of going along with whatever Floyd comes up with. Please do not underestimate his imagination he can be quite filthy when he wants to be, he's just being a good boy and only thinking about extramarital h*nd h*lding for now (•̀⤙•́ )

As soon as the chorus ends they understand. Soon, a mischievous smile form's on their face, never once leaving until you finish the song up. You cant help but expect some over dramatic reaction- but instead ur met with nothing!! They clap as soon as you end the song- commenting on your vocals with an overzealous smirk on their face. They try to act innocent, trying to coax you into explaining the lyrics- but you quickly turn down their remark. Leaving them to laugh at your misery.

Although not as quickly as others, they do eventually understand the song. And as soon as they figure out the hidden meaning you can bet on your life that their practically as red as a rose. It'd be funny showing them even more embarrassing songs, but it is fun to see them all flustered of course. All embarrassed- for such a dumb reason.

It takes a second... or two... or three. Maybe it's just easier to explain it to them? Once you do they're completely confused !! They didn't even notice the double meaning- and probably wouldn't have until someone told them. They were far too busy enjoying your singing to actually pay attention to the lyrics it seems. Also surprised at the meaning- however more intrigued by the subtlety then what the actual lyrics mean. Is Malleus not that famous in other countries cause in the Scalding Sands event Najma didn't seem to know who he was, there probably aren't many pictures of him around the internet but with how nervous Jamil was getting its weird it didn't cross her, you'd think he'd be pretty well known being the top 5 strongest mage and heir to the throne in Briar Valley

Well 😅 Najma’s just one person, right? I don’t think her specifically not knowing who Malleus is reflects on the average Twisted Wonderland civilian’s knowledge.

With that in mind, there’s actually many reasons why Najma in particular (and/or some other people) may not recognize Malleus:

People don’t always know political figures or figures of prominence in specific circles, especially if it isn’t of interest or of relevance to them. Think about it. Do you know the names and faces of political figures in countries outside of your own? What about specialists (athletes, artists, scientists) in fields you aren’t involved in? Thinking of it like that, it isn’t at all surprising that Najma, doesn’t recognize royalty from another country or highly ranked magicians (when she isn’t shown to be one herself).

Maybe Malleus just hasn’t been mentioned in Najma’s history class yet. For example, in Glorious Masquerade, we learn that Magic History class does not cover certain materials like the accomplishments of the Just Judge until year 2. Therefore, it’s possible that Najma has not yet learned about the Draconias in school. (Alternatively, it’s also possible that non-magic schools skim over notable mages; this would explain why NRC students specifically take Magic History, which I assume focuses on magic and mages, rather than just “History”.)

With how fae aging works, maybe the history books are just not up to date. There is a noted few hundred years of unexplained time between Malleus’s egg existing and it finally hatching when, in reality, it should have only taken a few years for his egg to hatch. It’s also said in book 7 part 4 that none of the history books speak of what happened to Briar Valley’s monarchs (ie Malleus’s parents), and that “the books at home and at the school library don’t mention anything about the Briar Valley’s history”.

It’s difficult to communicate with the Briar Valley. This is very possible, especially seeing as how the country is said to be lacking in way of technological advancements. (STYX is able to contact them, but they’re a secret organization 😂) This would likely mean that historians would have to physically travel far north to personally document Briar Valley themselves—which may be an arduous task, seeing as mirror travel and warp pads are not widely accessible to the general public. Since the Briar Valley is reclusive and even implied to not be accepting of non-fae, it may be even more challenging to get clearance to visit the country. A lot of their history seems to spread mainly by direct word of mouth (as Silver and Sebek imply in book 7; their father and grandfather, respectively, did not either of them about the Draconia family history or about the several years’ period of war Briar Valley went through).

In the actual Scalding Sands event, the visiting NRC students mention that the locals aren’t panicking about Malleus because the head wrap he’s wearing disguises him. Najma also later mistakes his horns as being decorations or fakes. This can easily be explained by the simple fact that… well, celebrities would wear different clothes in public to “blend in” and people wouldn’t recognize them because no one thinks “hey, I’ll run into a super famous person roaming my local market”. If you don’t pay enough attention to something, you may just overlook it. Attention is selective.

Aaaand of course, we have the good old boring explanation of “it’s for plot convenience, don’t question it” 😂

Personally, I think the “the history books just don’t talk about it” explanation is the most accurate, as there’s actual strong narrative implications of it in the main story; however, it’s possible that the real reason is a combination of all of these.

You guys started dating a few months back and students hated how affectionate you guys are, most of the time it's Kalim who shows the most in public . Of course he'll stop if you're uncomfortable with it and just give you affection when you guys are alone

He gave it his all not to create chaos just because of it not until he got the answer of "we don't know how to get [name] back to their human form" from Floyd. Another scolding for endless of hours, threatening to report it to the teachers.

Before he did, You put your paw on top of his hand as if you're telling him not to.. and so that's what he did. He decided to stick with you in some tiger form

He wasn't as affectionate as Kalim and only thinks logically, reading every book just to get back to your form. He was worried it wouldn't come off or worse

Of course he couldn't abandon Kalim or his classes, he insisted you to come with him but you didn't.. you were anxious about your appearance and it made his heart broke. He let you be in his room after he gets back

The only affection you can get from him was cuddling and words of affirmation, he was trying to console you after school. Cooking you food while he tries to find what you need to get you back

As he finished cooking for you, giving you food in bed. Each day you were more and more insecure about what's happening to you, He's trying his best for you and he didn't want you to feel this way in or out of tiger form.

At first Jamil was naturally suspicious, he was suspicious of most people though so it wasn't really new.

It'd be awhile for him to fully trust you so be ready for a bit of waiting, but I promise it's worth it in the long run!

Kalim also put in lots of good words for you to hopefully speed up the process of Jamil warming up to you, it didn't really help, but it's the thought that counts right?

When Jamil starts to warm up and trust you he will become a bit more doting on you, "You need to tuck your fingers in more while you're cutting, you'll cut a finger off."

It's his own way of showing he's paying attention it can get a bit annoying at times but it's a little sweet if you look at the undertones of it all.

Though somewhere along the line when you started taking some of the work off of Jamil's shoulders even with your already filled schedule is when he starts to realize he might be in trouble.

Helping him with decorations or food for Kalims spur of the moment parties, helping Kalim in the classes you can so that Jamil won't have to tutor him as much

It seems like all small actions to you, but to Jamil it gives him a small fluttering feeling in his chest.

He'll start to realize he's in love when he does things with you in mind without thinking, making a dish for a party cause you had once told him how you loved it

Seeing random things and doing mundane tasks and randomly thinking, 'I wonder where they're at now..'

Once he realizes how far he's in he lets out a sigh and pinches the bridge of his nose as a small bit of warmth creeping up his neck.

His behavior doesn't change much while he's crushing on you, but something you may or may not notice is the amount of small tasks he does for you grows ever so slightly.

I see Jamil's love language both giving and receiving as acts of service, it makes his heart clench when someone goes out of their way to do something for him, whether it be small or big.

Though sometimes when no one is looking or when you have a moment where the two of you have time alone, there's a faint smile on his face that to anyone else would go unnoticed.

when it comes to the confession he would take a while similar to Azul to make sure it's not just something that will fade with time.

When the feelings persist he's at first a bit annoyed, but those feelings quickly changed

Honestly I think he would confess on accident, he had something planned out but it went out the window at one little slip up.

Kalim had announced a grand party happening in Scarabia for the second time this week and of course put Jamil on cooking duty for all of the party food.

He was going to protest to Kalim saying it was too much for one person to handle until you came up saying you would lend a hand.

Jamil paused and sighed begrudgingly agreeing, at least it was sometime that he got to spend with you alone.

You were quick to start any prep work that Jamil needed, washing vegetables, cutting meat, prepping some of the seasonings he'd need for the dishes.

Jamil had a small smile the whole time watching as you made busy work humming to yourself. It was almost domestic and something he could get used to. The sound of your voice.. An extra pair of hands to help, and not to mention the fascination as you watched him cook that dishes Kalim asked for.

"This is something I could get used to.." Jamil mumbled under his breath you looked at him and asked what he meant and he turned his head with a bit of warmth climbing onto his face.

He let out a sigh putting the cooking meat on a light simmer before turning to you fully, "Having you here.. It's not only nice to have an extra set of hands, but your presence over all is.. it's refreshing to me.. and I want it to stay that way." You jokingly asked if this was his way of saying he was madly in love with you and he gave you a serious look

"If that's what you see it as then yes.. I am saying I'm in love with you, I wouldn't say maddeningly so but my thoughts do wander to you and what it would be like if you were by my side.. Will you do me the honor of making those wandering thoughts a reality..?"

Epel Felmier:

He's one of the first years so it's no surprise the two of you met on your own. (either that or by the idiot duo)

If you have a bit of a grudge against Vil too you guys make quick friends.

if you don't you'd still be good friends since you might have classes together being freshmen and all.

One of the things about being Epel's friend is he feels a lot more comfortable around you and being not so prim and proper

He gets easily excited when talking and will often slowly fall back on his country accent

mention it? He'll get pretty embarrassed and kind of pouty about it

So just let him talk for as long as he wants eventually he'll bleed back into his trained voice Vil worked so hard to get him used to

Epel will also try to prove that you can call on him if you need any man power

by that I mean carrying more or offering to carry something for you that you may seem to be struggling with (even if he may struggle as well-) But hey it's the thought that counts right?

But he is still a very reliable person that you can count on.

When he starts to fall for you though, he'll try to show you how manly he is even more.

He might go to Jack or Deuce for advice (Deuce doesn't have the best advice, Jack gives him some pointers)

He now, without thinking, will carry your bags and books if your hands are full or he just wants to lend a helping hand

He also asks you for your opinions a lot more often, "hey, Y/N, What do you think of this design? I don't know whether or not it's good enough to carve though..."

He'd start to realize how deep he is falling when he starts wanting to write about you to his family back in the country.

He only ever wrote about important events and updates but the fact that he wanted to write about you to home to brag in his own way struck him as odd as he slowly started to realize.

He had almost thought of asking Rook for advice, he didn't want to get Vil's views on it cause he was still a bit salty towards him.

Rook being two steps ahead ( and really good at reading people) told him, "Go for something sincere! From the heart, something special to show them you care and pay attention! That will surely make Trickster swoon for you!"

Epel was a bit surprised he didn't get some sort of strange answer from the vice house warden but he would admit that he did get some ideas from his advice.

He took hours trying to find something that was personal for you, he decided on something hand made, or hand carved I should say.

After a few conversations with you he found your favorite flower out and he quickly got to work.

He did sketch upon sketch trying to find the perfect design to carve for you sometimes taking free time in class which Vil finds a bit aggravating.

Once he had the design he got to work staying up into the late hours carving a beautiful and intricate design into the most perfect apple he could find (in the boxes in his room)

He also cast a spell on it so that the apple wouldn't rot and it would give off the sweet smell as if it was freshly cut.

He wasn't one for very sappy confessions unlike his dorm mates, but he still has one that's sweet.

You and Epel were sitting outside during lunch Ace, Deuce, and Grim were all in line to buy lunch so you and Epel had a moment alone which neither of you complained about

Epel took the apple that was in a small lavender box and gave it to you with a slight blush and smile "Here! It's somethin' I made for you!"

You decide not to bring up his change in accent as you carefully open the box to see the beautifully carved apple with your favorite flower with elegant patterns surrounding it.

You turn to Epel with a sweet smile and thank him but also ask him what the sudden gift is for.

His face gains a bit more color as he clears his throat, "I wanted to tell ya for awhile but there was never a good time since Ace and Deuce are always with ya." He said crossing his arms, "But I really really do care for you, and not just in the way friends care, I love ya... That's as mushy as I'm going to go though!"

Jade Leech

You either met through his twin or Ace and Deuce making some sort of contract and Jade coming to you to ask where they are.

Either way your first meeting isn't anything too grandiose or big, though how calm he was most of the time was quite intriguing to you

He didn't have any strong opinions about you at first until Floyd started to influence his thoughts

"Shirmpy is so funny sometimes~ Today they came into the Lounge trying to pay off Crabby and Mackerels contracts!" That was interesting do tell him more.

You can thank Floyd for helping his brother gain more interest in you.

Jade had asked you on many occasions if you would join the mountain lovers club. (tbh I would it seems like so much fun-)

If not you can sure as hell bet he'll be bringing you random mushrooms, does he know if they're poisonous or not? No, is he going to cook them up and find out? You bet.

Though he'd never purposely feed you poison mushrooms he does use you as a test subject for what ever weird combination he comes up with next

Though congrats! You have a semi-protective eel who will sometimes follow you around now!

I can see Jade as a person who will act like a gentleman to you and those he considers close

Someone talking shit about you? He's about to tell them off and subtly threaten them in the most calm and collected way possible smiling the entire way through.

Yeah to no one's surprise the amount of Savanaclaw students who want to pick a fight starts to drop like flies.

Sure there's still one or two who will talk shit and Jade will send a glare their way

That is if he's still only sure his relationship with you is platonic.

That would bring me to my next point, him realizing he's falling for you.

I can see Jade being in touch with his own emotions, a bit more so than his brother, so it doesn't take him long to notice the change in his view towards you

You go from semi-protective eel, to protective eel and another eel who just likes to bother and tease you

Jade would start to find any free time Azul allowed him to find you and make some sort of conversation with you until he's needed again

Usually he'll have Floyd with him too so you guys can have a fun hang out

now remember those Savanclaw students who were talking shit before??

Yeah they seemed to almost never run into you on campus once Jade figured out his feelings for you

Mostly out of fear that the Leech twin will be with you, but you don't need to know that

Jade will 'introduce' you to his little garden of mushroom terrariums that's honestly rather cute.

(If you get him another one or a new kind of mushroom for his collection he will love you forever no questions asked you are stuck with him-)

Jade similar to his brother feel like his confession would be more accidental and spur of the moment thing, hell he might not realize for a bit that he actually confessed!

I can also see him not even trying to make a move until he can tell you have some similar feelings to him.

I can see some student wanting to pick a fight cause who doesn't want to pick a fight with the non-magical perfect! (fr though why do we find a fight around every corner in game like I'm non-magical the fuck do you want???)

Jade just happened to be looking for you and stumbled onto the scene, to put it gently he wasn't very pleased with the situation.

"Excuse me? What do you think you're doing? Going up against someone who has no magic of their own seems a bit pathetic wouldn't you agree?"

He said still holding his smile and gentlemanly aura with his back faced to you you couldn't see the daggers being glared at whatever poor unfortunate soul decided to cross your path today.

The student quickly challenged Jade to a battle which of course he came out on top of making the other student cower and run away.

Jade turned to you and gave you a close eyed smile, "You know if I was with you all the time you wouldn't have to deal with these sorts of situations?"

Jade gently turned your head up to look at him (He's prob taller than you if he's not I am scared of you-) still having that smile plastered on his face, though his eyes are gentle with a caring gleam to them

"So if you will allow me, I'll be by your side so that no harm will come to you, How does that sound my dear?"

Chapter 5: "I'll charm You With a Song... Definitely"

Malleus alter went to sleep thinking about Azul, but his mind wandered to nightmare. The room was black.

A cold void.

Out of the darkness stood Riddle in his school uniform. His face was blacked out or shadowed by something but Malleus Alter suspected it was contorted in pain. Night Raven High's uniform was quite similar to the one of Night Raven College. The exception was the vest. It was dark grey in contrary to Twisted Wonderland Riddle wearing a red one or really any of the different color vests Malleus alter saw students wearing. Of course the white armband with the thick black kanji for "student council president" remained there unlike the Twisted Wonderland counterpart who had no such armband.

Riddle held up his hand as if offering him something. A black pen with adorned with a pretty, red gem appeared in his hand. The gem turned dark, then it turned black, soon inky black liquid spilled out of the pen. Alarmed Malleus alter reached out to knock it out of his hand. He barely caught Riddle as he suddenly tumbled backwards like he'd been pushed. Then next to him appeared Leona but he was simply holding his pen, the ink was spilling out much more slowly.

Hearing dripping noises behind him, he turned and saw Jamil and Vil holding pens dripping black ink as well. Horrified Malleus alter watched as their faces became visible and Malleus alter was able to see their anger, pain and frustration at their own situations knowing that even so nothing could be done.

"Malleus san.." Azul's voice called quietly. Malleus alter flinched, his eyes watering. He desperately didn't want to see Azul in pain.

"I wont turn around I wont turn around

I wont turn around" he whispered.

So of course he did the opposite.

Looking up at Azul he stared at his face, streaming with tears and Malleus alter's heart felt like it shattered. Gently setting Riddle down he ran toward Azul reaching desperately to Azul hoping to comfort and wipe away the tears.

Just as he reached close enough to caress Azul's face everyone vanished.

Falling forward he stumbled and caught himself before he could fall over. With a quiet gasp he closed his eyes and opened them again.

He was in what looked like a wasteland. It was filled with warped and twisted wrought iron objects. Some glowed with purple or lime green diamonds on them.

"Wha...?" He was clearly speechless.

"Everyone is gone?" He asked confused. All of a sudden a sword rushed at him and his mind clouded with horror thinking he'd be impaled however the sword bounced harmlessly against the black dragon scales on his arms. As soon as he realized this he stared at his arms in confusion as they suddenly were foreign to him, he didn't have time think about it as he howled in pain thanks to the sword coming at him again and slowly slicing off each scale.

Malleus woke up and sat up. "What a horrible nightmare...." He rubbed at his arms to make sure they werent injured.

Point of Origin: Mortal World (Universe)

Leona alter smirked. He woke up from a nap in a good mood. Which a sign bad things were going to happen. Showing up at school he learned that Mal- that show off was missing. Mainly from Ace and Deuce's dejected behavior.

That was fine it's not like he cared.

Ruggie caught him trying to avoid Crewel's Home Ec class and unfortunately persuaded him to actually go.

He said he should show up in class, not that he had to pay attention so he started to doze a little. His attention was caught when Crewel stated that Malleus would be unable to attend class and asked who'd be willing to take over his homework until he is able to come back to class.

Leona stirred and sat up lazily. "Why not just have his adopted brothers bring it to him? It cant be that hard"

"Leona, I'm surprised you volunteered. I suppose you two pups really have been improving your relationship and are getting along better" Crewel smirked. And Leona suddenly looked a lot more awake.

"Wha-- I didn't-- what the fuck 'Master' Crewel?!" He hissed angrily.

Master Crewel smirked "if you fail to bring it under the claim "I left it at school" or "it disappeared", I'll mark it as failing to cooperate in class and fail you." he warned "But I suppose that threat holds little value to you at this point" he commented as he thought about it more.

When the school bell rung he looked for Ace, Deuce, Riddle-- any one of those idiots Malleus called his friends to pass it to.

He stopped 'did any of them know where Malleus lived?' He tried to see if he recalled any of them being present during the countless times he went to Malleus's place to escape from home, the occasional paparazzi, Ruggie, his other responsibilities he didnt want to think about, all to enjoy the luxury to his 'unnecessary' kindness to annoy him.

Uh uh. Riddle was basically a dog being told to come and go as his m̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ mother wished.

The two dumbasses who never stayed out of trouble? Nope.

Damn.

Guess that meant going to Azul. Knowing that bastard he'd want something in return for the trouble. Might as well.

He found Azul on his phone probably handling another "client". When he got close enough he just dropped the papers on the floor in front of Azul and kept walking.

"Take that to Malleus's house or whatever" he commented.

He didnt stick around to see what Azul wanted in exchange.

With the knowledge Malleus wasn't home he collapsed on the bed in his own room. He refused to acknowledge his brother and his wife and... Their kid unless he had no other option. Which meant he was left alone with his thoughts until Cheka came back from playing with Amira.

**Meanwhile on Twisted Wonderland**

Malleus had a hard time getting to sleep. It wasn't that he couldn't sleep it was more of he didn't want to see another dream with all his friends sad. But he supposed it was better than that weird dream where Azul turned into a octopus and Floyd proceeded to tell octopus jokes and puns until Azul got fed up and punched him in jaw. Floyd seemed very surprised by how much it hurt to the point where he fell over.

He woke up laughing but Ace and Deuce were incredibly creeped out by the idea of Azul bring a octopus.

He turned on his phone and realized his mistake too late. The bright screen nearly blinded him "Gah!" He yelped nearly launching the phone halfway across the room.

He almost always remembered to dim the brightness before going to bed but then there were days where he'd forget and be stuck squinting at the phone as he tried to dim the brightness setting.

Setting it down to 0% which really was just a low brightness compared to lighting up the entire room he relaxed.

He scrolled through his list of downloaded songs. He didn't know if it was a good idea but he figured as long as he wasnt too loud he could sing with the playlist.

He tapped on the 37th song after about ten minutes of staring at his phone.

Malleus alter said he wouldn't sing along but he lost all resolve of that after putting on his headphones. He figured just singing softly would be fine. He could sing at full volume later.

Malleus alter has lots of hobbies he takes up to ward off boredom... One of them being singing along his favorite songs--!

Although Malleus has a deeper voice than that singer I like imagining that Malleus would sing this song "sinfully" well. And in some ways it suits the twist characters.

T I M E L I N E :

After arriving at NRC, due to her being there under special circumstances(her parents- who are the King and Queen of the Land of Dawning- basically bribed Crowley to let her stay there) she wasn't actually a student for the first month, instead living in a spare room in the staff quarters.

B O O K 1

So when she was made a student, just after the events of Book 1, Crowley assigned her to Scarabia at random.

She first arrived at Scarabia in the middle of one of their famous parties. The Housewarden had greeted her briefly, saying he didn't recognize her but welcoming her to the party and encouraging her to get something to eat— then his attention was snatched away by someone else in the room calling out his name. So she just stood there.

The familiar, uncomfortable prickle of people's eyes on her settled into her skin, and though she held her arms protectively around herself and had tried to hide crammed into the shadow of a large vase, she still felt far too exposed for her liking. This was all why she never attended social gatherings anymore…there were always too many people, all of whom would undoubtedly stare at her like she was some exotic animal at least once during the night, and the constant sound of voices was always drilling into her head… Though at least with those gatherings, she could sneak out at some point; go to the library and disappear. Not this time. She wished with all her might that she could be allowed to go back to her room, or at least seek out someplace quieter or darker, where the light wouldn't sting her sensitive eyes. But alas, she had no such luck; she'd be forced to stay there until she worked up the courage to move through the throng of people to try to speak to the Housewarden again. She took a moment to settle her back against the wall, close her eyes, and take a deep breath, though she could already feel a headache coming on.

Seeking any kind of distraction, she became curious and decided to watch the other people present, maybe see if she could place them into a Dorm based on their clothing. It's not like there was anything else to do; she would never be able to just focus on her own thoughts with all the noise, and her mind would undoubtedly keep wandering back to the unease and anxiety she was just barely managing to smother. She looked over the rest of the students, sorted them, before moving on to the next, no one really seeming interesting enough to cast a second glance at.

That is, until she saw him.

She'd never exactly been the romantic type— for the longest time, having never felt it, she'd been convinced that romantic love didn't even exist and all romance books should be classed as non-fiction— and had never really payed any attention to what people look like. Until that very moment, apparently. When she saw him for the first time, it was like the rest of world began to move in slow-motion. Everything around her beginning to feel blurry and distant, even the sounds of people talking, and only his image remained clear and in focus. She couldn't stop staring at him, his beautiful long, dark, almost silken hair, his intelligent charcoal eyes...

Those strange, unfamiliar feelings took hold of her, made her chest tighten in a way she wasn't used to, and made her breath hitch. She couldn't explain it logically no matter how hard she tried. She'd never felt anything like it before. She forced herself to tear her eyes away, lest she be caught staring. She stared into space with her eyes aimed to the ground, calmed her breathing, and glanced in his direction again. She battled with herself, caught in some strange, inner battle between instinct, logic, her confusion, and the new sensation of bewilderment she felt. When she glanced up at him again, he seemed to notice, and he looked at her. At her. The moment their eyes meet, her heart suddenly exploded in her chest. The only term she could think of to refer to it as was a feeling of helplessness; of not knowing what to do and being unable to do anything except fall pray to whatever spell seemed to have been cast on her.

When he introduced himself and said he was supposed to lead her to her room (on Crowley's orders) she swore she forgot her own name. Her pale milk-toned face lit up strawberry pink. She found herself straining herself trying to make conversation and ask things about the dorm as they passed, and about himself, too. She had no idea what was going on— it was so out of character for her to want to talk to someone! But she did want to. More than she'd ever wanted anything. The words just kept coming out, she felt so tense and like she had no control over what she was saying. But she liked it. And when at the end he smiled at her and said goodnight, she thought she would faint. She wanted to see him again, to talk to him more, to learn more about him! She could barely sleep that night because her heart wouldn't stop pounding and she couldn't stop thinking about him…

But she had no choice but to request a transfer to Diasomnia not long after, due to Scarabia's sunshine being too much for her skin- what with her being albino making her very sensitive to it.

In-between Books 1 & 2

This is where Artemisia slowly starts settling into Diasomnia. Also thus where Jamil encounters the Ramshackle trio (Grim and my other OCs Tomoe and Irina) and ADeuce.

But whenever Artemisia sees Jamil, like in the hallway on the way to and from classes, she always tries to wave to him, and walk up to speak to him if she has the time to spare.

Jamil thinks this is weird. Very weird. Suspicious, even. He at first wonders if maybe she's trying to get closer to Kalim through him.

B O O K 2 Denial

Something eventually happened which shocked her— Kalim, her former Housewarden, found her in her little alcove in the school library and invited her to one of his parties. And weirder still, she accepted? Some tiny part of her was hoping she might get to see Jamil there. And she did! She felt absolutely over the moon. She spent every second that she could talking to him, offering to help carry small things back and forth from the kitchen. It wore her out, with her very poor stamina, but she was just too happy to be able to talk to him that it didn't matter to her. Her crush on him made her feel normal, in a way, for the first time in her life.

Later on, she ended up asking Lilia— who, as she'd barely ever even talked to her own father, had started to feel like something of a father figure to her— if he could teach her how to cook. She wanted to be able to help Jamil, both as a way to spend more time with him, and also to help lessens his workload. He agreed, but… Even she could tell the food he made was not fit for consumption. Though Silver and Malleus gently persuaded her otherwise when she wanted to give Lilia an honest critique on his food and how he could improve.

Instead, she started going to every single party Kalim ever invited her to, to be able to spend time with Jamil. She'd always seek him out, to the point even Kalim caught on and started just telling her where he'd last seen Jamil when she arrived.

She ended up spending a lot of time in the Scarabia kitchen as a result, asking to help carry dishes out to the lounge.

When she found out Jamil was in the basketball club, she asked him if she could come watch their practice sometime, to which he agreed.

And so that became routine for her. On the days they had practice, she would show up and watch. When they had breaks, she would go up to Jamil and ask him something or other about how the game worked, as well as other things.

He was no longer suspicious after realizing she was a literal princess- he hadn't known when showing her to her room previously, since all Crowley said was her first name. Because why would a princess who was of higher status and nearly as wealthy as the Asims try to get close to Kalim through him?

The theory especially crumbled when he caught on the fact she never talked to Kalim at any of the events the boy in question invited her to-- only to Jamil.

B O O K 3 Denial -> Anger

He once told her he was impressed by how quickly she'd memorized the rules, which lead into a conversation about academics in general, during which she said she was great at the theoretical parts, but not so great at the more practical applications of magic, since she just wasn't used to seeing it up-close. He was still pretending to be nothing but average, but she still complimented him on his magical ability, from what little she'd seen. (what? why?).

At this point in their time knowing each other Jamil had actually started getting irritated. What did she want? Did she just want to waste his time? That must have been it. She was just trying to distract him for...for whatever reason. Her own amusement, maybe.

These tutoring sessions eventually lead to cooking practice, too. Artemisia has never liked people she doesn't know (which is everyone) touching her, literally and physically shying away whenever someone tries to so much as shake her hand, and backing up even further if they don't get the hint. Even with people she's acquainted with it usually feels unpleasant. But when Jamil had to hold her hands to show her how to properly use a knife, she didn't mind at all. For once, touch even felt...pleasant. Not 'not unpleasant', but actually nice in itself. And unlike with most people, she could actually look him straight in the eye without feeling incredibly uncomfortable. Though she tried to avoid it, because she knew if she did she'd end up becoming too flustered to speak properly.

In-between Book 3 & Book 4 Anger -> Bargaining

At this point he'd stopped being as upset about Artemisia's presence in his life. He'd even started becoming somewhat used to it. It was not because he liked having her there- obviously not. She was just...not as irritating as Kalim. Taking time out of his day to teach her to cook...well, it was made easier by the fact that she made sure to always come to him instead of vise versa, knowing how busy he was, so he could fit it into the time he'd be making food for Kalim anyway, so it was just not time-consuming enough to not do it. And lending her his notes when she'd been forced to take time off due to her semi-regular, impromptu bouts of sickness, even though she was on friendly terms with the Malleus Draconia...well, skill doesn't always translate to being able to teach well, after all. And she had specifically asked him for help (he'd need to stop thinking about the fact she went to him over everyone else NOW). And even if he did try to go out of his way to linger around her for longer after she'd been sick, of course not, it wasn't because he'd missed her, no of course not- he just...wanted to make sure she could still keep up.

None of that meant she was at all different or special to him. ...Right? Right.

B O O K 4

Artemisia decided to also stay at NRC over Winter Break It's not like she can really go 'home' to the royal palace, and she just knows if she, a human, went with Lilia, Malleus, Silver and Sebek to Briar Valley, the far there would make a big deal about it. And there is literally nothing Artemisia wants less than to be gawked at

So she stays behind. She meets up with Jamil in the kitchen He asks if she's doing alright alone, and she says yes, especially since she can cook for herself now. She thanks him for that, for teaching her He tells her not to mention it She says she won't if he doesn't want her to, but it did mean a lot to her He blushes a bit and focuses back on cooking

And then Tomoe, Irina and Grim arrive!

Someone mentions that perhaps Artemisia can also come with Jamil— knowing he does NOT want to get Artemisia, the one person who's been shown to really care about him, want to genuinely get to know him and treated him like an actual person and not just a servant, involved in this— tries to persuade her otherwise, by bringing up the sunlight, and how she had to transfer dorms because she couldn't handle it.

This would also be how the player/Tomoe, Irina and Grim first learn that Artemisia used to be in Scarabia for a little while.

Artemisia is l weighting the pros and cons to herself…before eventually, she decides she wants to. She might never get a chance like this again! A chance to spend time with Jamil not needing to be parted by classes!

When asked why, she just says it's a secret.

Artemisia being there would also add to the stakes, I think?

During the first day when Kalim is giving out those insane orders, Jamil tries his best to let Artemisia be in the most shaded sections of the dorm, and always in someone's shadow on their march to the oasis. But Kalim sees this and says she can't be 'slacking off' like that. Tomoe sees the panic on Jamil's face and how he tries to stand up for Artemisia but is overruled, and then for a brief moment gets an almost guilty look on his face. And later that night, having been run so absolutely ragged by Kalim, Artemisia faints. Only Tomoe and Jamil are around to see this, since Irina and Grim had already gone back to their shared room.

But the next day, Kalim goes softer on Artemisia. Tomoe finds this strange. He goes softer SPECIFICALLY on Artemisia, but no one else. He didn't see her faint the day prior. And he's still just as hard on the others. The change seems almost arbitrary. She does consider the possibility of Jamil having somehow convinced Kalim to do so. But she thinks that could only happen if Jamil told Kalim what happened. When they'd all gotten to the oasis the day prior, he made rain for Grim as soon as he said he was thirsty.

But…Kalim is too nice for the incidents of the day prior to happen in the first place. And if he's so fickle as to be swayed by that, but not by any of the other people suffering… Something was just VERY fishy. That's when she concludes someone HAS to be messing with his mind somehow.

And in that case, for Kalim to suddenly go easier on Artemisia, it would have to be someone who knew she fainted. …Leaving only herself and Jamil. And as she has no magic and knows she herself didn't do anything, there's no way it could be anyone but Jamil, with the way he is the only one allowed to see Kalim early in the morning and late at night.

All this coupled with the strange thing that happened with Jamil getting her, Grim and Irina to get to Scarabia in the first place erases any doubt in her mind that it could be ANYONE else.

And when he Overblots and throws the rest of them out into the edge of the deser, not only does he keep Irina there— knowing she just has a very subservient personality, she herself wasn't trying to stop him, and they're kinda friends by this point due to hanging out sometimes in the NRC kitchen outside of class when they're both cooking for their respective dorms— but he also keeps Artemisia there.

Listen I am only including Artemisis in book 4 in the first place because LISTEN TO ME. ARTEMISIA AND JAMIL AS JASMINE AND JAFAR IN THAT ONE SCENE. But less weird and creepy and coerced. Because when Jamil tells her to begin to list all the great things about him, she does so, and she genuinely means every single word. Irina was gonna try to like, ask her to play along in pretending to be subservient until the others could get back, but she didn't really even need to try. Him having made her next to him, tilting her chin up with his fingers to look at him— making eye-contact with him always makes her INCREDIBLY flustered— and smiling and telling her to sing his praises, she is just GONE. Does not need to be told twice.

“Y-your hair is…so beautiful…and so soft, like silk. You are so intelligent, and knowledgeable…I struggle to believe there could be anything which would not be possible for you. You are so resourceful, too, and a good planner. And your skin is so beautiful… Your smile is captivating, and your voice is smooth, and mesmerizing, even without your Spell…” Her face is bright red. What she's telling him now isn't even just to distract him anymore. She's really just started telling him her honest opinion of him.

This is where Tomoe, Grim, Kalim, Azul, Jade, Floyd and Junia come in and pretend to be Scarabia students, chiming in and agreeing with her.

Jamil smirked again.

“Good answer.” He said, and nudged Artemisia's face a little closer— only for him to abruptly stop, drop his hand from her face and shift his gaze to where the others were standing.

Then the battle ensues, Jamil is defeated, you know how this goes.

Afterwards, Artemisia really, really hopes he didn't catch onto how genuine her words were.

Jamil remembers exactly what she said, and since Artemisia isn't exactly a hard person to read, even through the black fog his memories of his Overblot are blanketed by, he could tell she meant every single word. And this brings him one small step closer to finally admitting his feelings to himself.

Artemisa is still processing the fact that she finally got the courage to tell Jamil how she felt, only to have no idea if he even remembered it or not. If he did, was him not saying anything about it because he didn't like her back? It was an incredibly annoying limbo to be stuck in.

As for Jamil, he just tried to focus super extra hard on the SDC to distract himself from the...everything.

Him being so busy lead to them not being able to spend as much time together, and it made the both of them miss each other a lot.

B O O K 6 Depression -> Acceptance

And he finally accepts it.

He wasn't going to let himself sit around and feel bad about things that could never happen, the way Idia did. So he finally not only admits to himself that he's in love with her, but also resolves to actually do something about it. Who knows, maybe they could make it work. Or no, not even 'maybe'. He will make it work, somehow.

In-between Books 6 & 7 I've decided that in my personal timeline, GloMas happens in-between Book 6 and 7. Partly because it's so funny to imagine Rollo being like I TOLD YOU SO when Malleus Overblots RIGHT AFTER the stuff that went down at Noble Bell.

When they really 'get together' is during Glorious Masquerade No one who could rat him out to Kalim— and by extension his and Kalim's families— would see the two of them as long as he's a bit sneaky about it and avoids people like Sebek, Deuce and Lisle who could definitely end up blabbing about it to him.

So he takes Artemisia with him to go exploring Noble Bell— Artemisia wants to see the library But at some point they just stop in a hallway, and he asks her:

"Those things you said that night during Winter Break. Did you mean them? Were those your honest feelings?"

Artemisia's face flushed and her heart did a twist into her stomach and began to race. "I did. They were. I— I had assumed you had forgotten…" — "I cannot decide whether to be upset or relieved that you did remember." — "Relieved because…being able to tell you felt so freeing… Though, upset, because it would spare me the embarrassment of having confessed my feelings to someone who did not return them… I suppose that perhaps, in that way, I am a coward. Though now that you do remember, I will not be a coward. I did sincerely mean every word spoken that night, and more. Even if you do not feel the same way toward me, I—"

He cuts her off with an "I do."

Later during the same event, after the Rollo fiasco, actually during the ball, the two have snuck out to go explore more of the city together. And while dancing to some music playing from a nearby celebration, they end up sharing their first kiss.

Artemisia gets so worked up her heart problems act up and she literally faints. Que Jamil kinda panicking. But hey at least it was memorable?

Their relationship is kept secret. Of course. It has to be. She's a literal princess, his parents would metaphorically kill him if they found out.

Artemisia doesn't mind. She doesn't like people's attention on her in the first place, so PDA was NEVER something she wanted. The only thing she's a little sad about is she wishes they could spend more time together. But that wasn't new, and she understands why they can't. And it only makes her treasure the time they do have even more. And she's patient. She doesn't mind having to wait to see him; she does get to see him eventually, after all. And Kalim, ever since Book 4 has started trying to give Jamil a bit more time off— so they definitely have more time to spend together than before, at least.

Lilia does end up catching on; like I said, Artemisia is easy to read, and a bad liar. It's actually a bit of a miracle no one figured it out before. Probably mostly because she like never talks to anyone who isn't Jamil, Idia or her Diasomnia family.

But Lilia agrees to help her keep it a secret! But he does tease her a little bit about it sometimes He's just so happy for her!

Ahhhh thank you so much for answering my ask!

Your headcanon for Jamil is actually very similar to mine, as I also feel relationships would be the last thing on his mind, and that if he did get feelings for someone, he would refuse to act on it!

It's also why I feel that if/when he does get into a relationship with someone, it would be subtle shift, with him growing more bolder in the relationship the longer you've been together. A relationship where you know he cares, but he doesn't do anything that would draw attention to it, like grand gestures and such. He would do things that could easily go unnoticed by others, but stand out to the person he's in the relationship with.

It's honestly so interesting to hear that the scalding sands event was your turning point for Jamil, as my turning point for Jamil (and Kalim!) was an event too! Specifically, the first fairy gala!

Like you, I started playing when the EN server released. But when I say play, I moreso mean downloaded it. I didn't really mess with it at the time. It wasn't until around Deuce's birthday that I actually truly began to play the game, taking Idia's hand and getting Jack as my first SSR.

The server was right in the middle of the first fairy gala event, and even though I knew nothing about the characters, I decided to pull on fairy gala Leona's showcase anyway, having earned have gems to do a ten pull. While I didn't get Leona, I did get Jamil, and his card is what lead me to play the event. Even though it was my first event on the server, I still think it's my favorite, as I just loved the story, outfits, and character interactions.

The scalding sands event is honestly a really good one too, and I agree Najma and Jamil are the siblings ever. (Also congrats on getting his event SSR!)

Ah, sorry! I didn't mean to ramble! Scarabia is tied as my favorite dorm with Ignihyde, and I just love Jamil and Kalim as characters! It's always nice to hear people's thoughts on them! The story of your first impression of Jamil and how he gradually changed is honestly so relatable!

I only had gacha on the brain when I was playing to be honest, I didn't pay attention so much to the event stories :( I only drew cards to see what i would get and yeah I only got Jamil's fairy gala too! (leona's event ssr is so pretty though hhnng but i'm happy with jamil's too)

synopsis: in which the boys' love is a bit intense, but you don't necessarily pay it attention with how focused you are on them reciprocating.

✯; It was a novel experience, really. He couldn't surmise the feelings he felt in that one moment that seemed to change the trajectory of his entire life - and this was by no means exaggeration.

Cater felt the rapid beating of his heart, felt the way his breathing picked up dramatically, and most of all felt the warmth as it spread throughout his body at the notion of feeling wanted. Feeling cared for. And by the great seven he didn't even realise how much he craved this until now.

It was almost comical how it only took a simple "i want you to be honest with me" on your end to absolutely send his heart into overdrive, how the phrase "i care about you, you know" escaped your lips so easily and just how effortless it seemed for you to look at him with concern gleaming in your eyes when you noticed his smile didn't quite feel genuine that day.

He felt his entire world flip for just a second before everything came crashing down and the sudden weight of emotions he couldn't even begin to name grounded him into reality - where he actually felt he wanted to stay for once if just to see you for a second longer.

There were so many different thoughts swimming around in his head but most importantly- you were still waiting for an answer. And he'd sooner combust than keep you waiting any longer.

"I know you do, prefect! But really don't worry so much~ I'll be fine as long as you keep me company," he silently prayed you couldn't see the raging crimson hue settling on his skin under the darkening sky. It was a miracle he managed to vocalise his sentence anyway with how abalze his entire body felt.

"I'll worry anyway, but I'll always be here if you do want to spend time with me. Just us two or with others."

'Just us two, just us two, just us two'; he nearly squealed, feeling the temptation to take you up on that offer immediately. In fact, he really did not want to go back to the dorm and have to share your attention. No, he needed it on him and only him and he wouldn't let anything get in the way of that soft gaze of yours.

"Hmm, I actually wouldn't mind getting away from the crowd just this once!" with a grin, Cater's eyes bore into your frame with an intensity he couldn't quite halt but he figured you wouldn't notice anyway, seeing as you offered a smile and a nod in return to his statement. He simply couldn't wait to get you on his own after that revelation.

✯; Vil carefully threaded his fingers through his platinum blond hair in front of the vanity mirror, knowing you were beside watching his every move. He could feel your stare burning into his side profile and in that moment, he was so grateful that years of acting had allowed him to keep his calm when all he wanted to do was combust into flames.

"Hm? Is something the matter, dear?" he purposefully lowered his tone, made it sound as sultry as possible, expecting the little surprise on your face as you quickly tried to keep composure when he side eyed you. The urge to take you into his arms was incredibly strong in that second, especially when you cast your eyes to his lips momentarily.

God, he had never wished to smudge his lipstick by locking his lips onto yours more than in that particular moment, when the soft lights in his room highlighted your face in a manner that made you look so ethereal that it was hard to breathe.

"I'm . . . Fine. Yeah," you swallowed thickly, willing yourself to look away so you wouldn't do anything stupid. The blonde found himself delighted at your reaction, willing his own gaze to rip away from your face otherwise he might just end up making his own intense decisions on a whim.

And yet, he found that he almost didn't mind. Sure, he had wanted to make his confession of love absolutely perfect (having asked Rook to give him all the information on you he possibly could get away with) but at the end of the day, he flourished in the way his efforts to enamour you had been paying off. And, and, and! He could clearly see you wanted him, maybe not as much as he wanted - no, needed you, but still wanted him nonetheless. It was progress all the same.

However, at the same time a part of Vil had wanted your admiration to be deeper . . . more intimate. Although he knew it was wrong and absolutely sick, he had hoped you would do something more. He wanted you to secretly follow him, thinking he can't sense your presence when it's the only thing filling his mind. He wanted you to take pictures he wouldn't ever find, but would know were taken since his gaze never leaves you. And he so desperately wanted your attention all on him, and nothing but him, never straying away for more than a second.

He was going to make you obsessed with him, one way or another. And soon, he will be the only thing occupying your thoughts - he simply has to be.

✯; There wasn't a semblance of sense to Sebek's thoughts, and he knew it. Just how could a simple 'human' (he refused to admit you were more than that, so much more than that) be so captivating? If anyone had asked him in that second, on who was the most fair in his eyes, his answer would've been you. Delusional or not, your name would inevitably slip past his lips.

The conflicting feelings he felt within him didn't ease at all; he felt like he was betraying his master, but at the same time, he didn't really have control over what he was thinking. And this once, he didn't want to think about anything other than you. He wished for you to be the center of his attention, and he couldn't even describe why. It just felt so liberating, despite it holding his mind captive. The irony didn't even register as his lime coloured eyes simply inspected your form.

Great seven, you were just so beautiful. And he so wished that you saw him that way too, because lord knows he was addicted to your gaze whenever it landed on him. He always needed more and more and more. But he wasn't selfish, no! - he was willing to give back twice as much and he would do anything to get the chance to do so.

His rational thoughts telling him this isn't normal be damned! That overpowering need to have you to himself was too strong. His own master and Lilia expressed that this is something worth pursuing anyway, that his adoration is 'perfectly reasonable' and 'aww, so cute!'. How could he stop pursuing you this way, if his own role models encouraged him to keep going? How could he stop when they affirmed this is normal, completely okay?

And besides, it wasn't as though you were rejecting his advances; you were actively awaiting his next move and he could tell from the teasing glint you held in your eyes each time. Even now, as you simply looked at him, he could tell you wanted him to do something. Anything. If he wasn't actively feeling what he was doing, he would've suspected you had complete control over his body with how his rationality couldn't win over.

But well, he wouldn't have minded if that was the case. This line of thinking may not be right, but it sure as hell does feel it.

✯; Ace could really be cruel at times. Really cruel - and he knew it, you knew it, everyone knew it. But even he could recognise that this time, maybe he went too far. Scratch that 'maybe' actually, he may have just ruined whatever friendship you two had. And what better way to do that than kissing you senseless against the empty alchemy classroom's door as you both struggle for air?

"Ace I- I need . . . Some, some oxygen," you barely managed to rasp out against his lips as his ruby red eyes barely shifted into focus. Great seven, he felt so incredibly dazed with how tightly he was pressing against you as could barely keep his hands from moving through your hair.

"Fuck oxygen, I wanna kiss you," the redhead felt his heart hammer (even more so than previously) against his chest at the sound of your giggle. Without a second thought, not that he could think in the first place with what you were doing to him, Ace dove right back in to slot his lips against yours.

Could you really blame him though? It wasn't his fault you were so breathtaking that he could barely keep his eyes away from your form. It wasn't his fault that every time you looked at him, you had that certain look to you - the kind which told him that if he'd ask you to pluck the stars out of the sky for him, you wouldn't even hesitate. And it sure as hell wasn't his fault that you were actively trying to pull him into you more, if that was even possible with your current proximity.

Ace was never one for discipline or self-control, and he was completely aware of it. Sure it proved to be a hindrance most times, but he thought that today, when he spontaneously decided to press you up against this door, it wasn't such a bad thing after all. He knew he had gone too far, that the carefully crafted friendship was now over, that he was being particularly cruel with the way he kept biting your lower lip to get a reaction and, that by kissing you senseless in this very second, he knew that he couldn't ever let you go.

✯; They say that love at first sight is a very magical experience, and that it can completely change a person and their outlook on things. But Jamil would have to disagree with this notion. There never was a love at first sight, nor a love at second sight, or the third and fourth and so on. It was never about sight anyway. Because the first time he met you, he just felt it. He felt how the universe had perfectly aligned itself for that one fateful meeting, how you simply had to accidentally run into his arms as if scripted and how effortlessly he had caught you as if taking stage directions like a professional actor.

It didn't register immediately of course, quite the contrary as it took him a few weeks, if not months to understand what he was feeling. He did eventually come to the realisation that maybe he had liked you as more than a friend (in fact, liked would be putting it mildly) but each time he thought back to that certain encounter, he just knew the feeling was there from the beginning.

At least, he remembers it that way, and has memorised it to be that way. Every time he thinks back to your smile and eyes when he had helped you, they seem to get brighter and brighter and more clouded with emotions he could never transcribe. And it simply has to be true because you had to have felt the exact same thing and he is convinced.

Sure, the jolt of electricity and sparks and the effect of time slowing down were missing - you two weren't in some half hearted romance movie after all - but he just knew that you both felt it. Maybe you didn't remember it that way initially, but after enough description on Jamil's end, you were finally starting to remember!

And it made the heat creep up his skin at alarming rates, as it simply solidified one thing; you were meant to be together. It's cliché, and he knows it. But does he care, with the way you run into his arms every time you see him? With how he feels his heartrate pick up just as upon your very first meeting?

It feels like the first every time, and he could see you were starting to believe it too. If he wasn't certain of his own strong ideology regarding this, he almost would've thought you believed it even more than him by this point! But he knew it wasn't because he was blindly making up excuses to keep you tied to him, despite what Azul was trying to claim. Azul was simply wrong; there were no rose coloured lenses involved, nor any gaslighting into making you think he was the only person worthwhile in your life and certainly he wasn't making you depend on him so you could never leave even if you tried to.

Jamil was convinced your love was pure and it was honest and it was true, and he didn't have to convince you of anything any longer, because by this point you were the one trying to convince him.

Lilia tends to be incredibly protective, but he's good at hiding it; He's always worried about your safety and health.

The moment one of the bullies tried to attack you Lilia was about to enter and defend you; but you told him that it was okay. He was not pleased but… he always ends up letting you be.

You can hear his frustrated sigh from behind, he can't bring himself to actually say no to you. It's his weakness!

Afterwards he'll reach out and pull you away from the crowd. Lilia is worried about how quickly you were to throw hands and he will scold you about it. Literal seconds later he'll smirk and tell you how glad he is that you can defend yourself. Maybe he can teach you more about self-defense if you'd like to?

He's aware it's a bad habit but… he can't bring himself to see injustice and just Ignore It, he literally can't.

The moment he was JUST about to step in, you were already yelling at the bullies.

At first he was worried about the fact that they would attack you with magic, but seeing you quite literally obliterating the upperclassmen not only caused him to relax about your safety (another protective boy!) but he also fights with the bullies by your side!

Also a nice idea because both of you will patch each other up if you get any scratches or injuries!

Twst Odette/Swan Princess Idea For Anybody To Read

(Y/N) felt exhausted. The day was tiring and she honestly felt upset with the world around. So, dancing with Kalim should of cheered her up. But, even so, she didn't even feel that great after.

"I don't... I don't want to dance anymore." (Y/N) stated, feeling a bit bad when Kalim had tried to get her on the dance floor again. The white haired male frowns, but understood. He didn't want the female to feel uncomfortable, so, he pats her on the back. Smiles. Then heads off, shouting over the music that he'll come back to check on her.

Nimbly smiling at her departing friend, she glances at the tired Grim resting on one of the plush couch cushions. Walking over, she picks the monster cat up carefully and sends a wave to Jamil. Who had came up to her, telling him that she was gonna head out.

Once out of the school grounds, she notices the wood area around Ramshackle. Instead of the green fireflies she usually saw floating about. She took notice that the small creatures had taken a somber blue... That was odd.

Hugging Grim closer, she forgets about heading home to Yuu, Yuuya and Yuuken. Opting to figure out what the sudden change was in atmosphere instead. Hurriedly walking deeper into the thick of it. (Y/N) finds the small lake in the dead center of it all. Raising a brow, she sighs at nothing cool, or interesting happening. Carefully sitting down on the grass near the water, she decided to mess with Grim in his cozy sleep.

Poking his fluffy belly, she smiles as the magic creature tries to lazily swat her fingers away.

The warm sunset shifts into the night sky as a full moon rises up from the clouds. It moonlight falling down on the lake as stars reflected like glitter. (Y/N) pays no mind to it, finally, her attention was grabbed by a small "*honk*" right next to her spot.

Looking to the side, she stops messing with her feline friend. Starring at a very pretty white feathered swan. Her (e/c) eyes widen at the feathered bird. (Y/N) tilts their head to the right side with small humming leaving her lips. The bird copys her motion, his head turning to the left.

A small chuckle leaves her, holding out her index finger floating on top of the birds head. Quietly whispering permission to pet them. Even though she hadn't perfectly gotten animal language down yet. Still, the swan had complied at her wishes. Nudging her fingers with his head.

(Y/N) smiles; gazing at the milky looking lake while letting her hand drift back to her lap. The swan squawks at her, yet the girl playfully ignores the bird. Giggling stupidly at herself. The bird narrows its beady little eyes, formulating a plant in its head.

Stepping away from the human girl, the bird walks gracefully to the lake. (Y/N) stares on curiously, awaiting to see what would happen next. The swan swam until they were in the center of the lake. The moons beam casting over their feathers.

Soon the water starts fly and twirl into the air. The swan was right in the middle of the magical event, as the bird was hoisted up into the air as well. Without thinking, (Y/N) takes off her blazer and lays it out for Grim, throwing her shoes and socks off as she rushed to the swan. Fear clouding her emotions then thinking straight as she runs into the pale lake. Her eyes widen as sparkles and more water cages the bird and a flash appears before her eyes.

Wincing at the brightness; she falls into the lake on her behind. Her whole body soaking wet as water drips onto her cheeks like tears and her hair covered her eyes. Spitting out the water, she moves her watered down strains out of her face. Lifting her gaze up to hand in front of her, what really surprised her though was the handsome young man that held out his hand to her with a gentle grin.

"Wow, are you Jesus?! Holy-Y-ou can walk on water, oh my God! That's amazing!"

The girl said excitedly, taking his hand cheerily. Too focused on his feet above the water instead of his awe struck face at her enthusiasm. Slowly swaying side to side with her, leading her a small waltz unknowingly.
