── ★ the one bed trope™ with the squid game men
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
teaser the guards cleared out too many beds after the last game, assuming there are far fewer survivors than expected. so when your group stumbles into the dormitory, you realize the horrible truth: there’s only one bed for every two players, and your bed is missing!
starring inho gihun (drabbles) & daeho sangwoo ali (hcs) x gn!reader genre fluff fluff all fluff, some nightmares, some crack
a/n wasnt gonna watch s2 but then i saw the lee byunghyun edits and sjsjs theres only few chars here because i havent watched the whole season :( i dont think ill be watching the whole thing any time soon, jus waiting for s3 to drop before watching it all together
Tumblr media
inho / youngil / the frontman / 001
youngil stared at the guards while you stared at the bed in front of you. it looked stiff and scratchy, and barely wide enough for one person, let alone two.
“we can share. i don’t mind,” he had said to you, though he had looked tense as well. he sat on the bed, allowing you to scoot over. he laid as close to the edge of the cot as possible.
“oh, it won’t be necessary.”
“well, what other choice do you have?”
you sighed and nodded, awkwardly laying down next to him on the bed. as your shoulders touched each other, he relaxed visibly, though he was still lying on the edge, and that scared you a little.
“stop lying on the edge like that. you’ll fall off,” you warned.
“i’m fine,” he mumbled, staring right up at the ceiling. you kept looking at him, not minding the three times he had glanced your way pointedly at all. “don’t stare.”
“hm, why not?”
“it makes me feel strange,” he said simply.
you nodded, your hands instinctively reaching to your arms to shield yourself from the cold. there was only one blanket with only one bed after all. next thing you knew, you felt the blanket being nudged towards you by youngil’s foot.
“i saw that; it’s not very subtle, you know.”
“what’s not very subtle?” he asked innocently. then he shifted his body closer to yours. “it’s not because of you, okay?” he muttered quietly. “i just didn’t feel like falling off.”
“are you asking for cuddles now?” you snickered.
“no,” he replied gruffly, though his eyes softened slightly at the sound of your silent laughter.
“nuh uh, i think you’re cold as well,” you lifted the blanket up to accommodate him as well. you then glanced at him expectantly. he hesitated for a moment before slipping under the blanket, taking the moment to tightly grasp your hand. you smiled, resting your head above his shoulder on the shared pillow.
you woke up in the middle of the night to find him softly murmuring your name in his sleep. he looked peaceful, beautifully so. you brushed your hand on his chest to wrap it around him, and felt him waking up as well.
“hush, go back to sleep,” you whispered to him, and he raised an eyebrow at nothing in particular. his eyes were still closed. then he let out a tiny giggle and tightened his grip on your hands.
the guards executed this one perfectly, right as per orders from the frontman; hwang inho will make sure to reward them later, but for now he’d rather stay in this shared bed with you by his side.
Tumblr media
seong gihun / 456
“i guess it can’t be helped then,” gihun said simply, sitting you down on his bed and pulling the covers over you. “sorry if i snore by the way.”
“what do you mean? where will you be sleeping?”
“on the floor, of course.”
“no, you’re not,” you shook your head, patting the empty space beside you. “i still have some place left here for someone.”
“oh, then let me find someone who can’t find a partn—”
you pulled the man down onto the bed, his face crashing against the pillow. throwing the covers over him as well, you turned to face him, muttering, “you really aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed.”
“no, uhm, what if i hog the blanket? that would be unpleasant—”
“i can live with that.”
gihun blinked rapidly. “i don’t think i should be sleeping. what if someone attacks?”
“relax, they’re keeping watch.”
“i think i should keep watch with them,” gihun gulped at your proximity.
“well, i don’t. and you need sleep; have you seen yourself?” you laughed.
gihun beamed at the sound. “then how about I tell you a story?”
“a story?”
“yeah, to make you happy.”
“why though?” you said tiredly.
“to make you laugh. i like seeing you laugh,” he said genuinely, and you nodded in response. his eyes lit up and he began, “so there was this one cow, and it had a baby cat—”
“gihun?”
he snored.
“gihun!”
he snored again.
did he really fall asleep mid-sentence? you sighed, shaking your head before snuggling up to him. he unconsciously draped an arm over you in his sleep.
throughout the night, he kept tossing and turning, before—
smack !
you clutched your face where gihun’s hand had just made contact. before letting out the loud cuss you wanted to, you peeked over to see if he was asleep. and sure enough, if the snores hadn’t let it be known earlier, then the closed eyes did.
“this dumbass,” you muttered, nuzzling your face into his side.
but what could you do either way? if you complained, he’d be mortified and force you to switch places, and you’d lose a chance to cuddle with him. so you instead figured the occasional smacking would be worth being the first person to see his hair sticking out in every direction with his sheepish grin in the morning.
Tumblr media
a/n: i’ve only got hcs for the others; sorry guys i prefer my old men inho and gihun :P
Tumblr media
daeho / 388
he insists on taking the less comfortable side of the bed
even if that meant he barely has any space MY GNELTMAN
at some point his hand will brush yours (because its an ff duh) and he’ll get all startled like :O
but he won’t move away because he decides he likes it
we all know the trauma this man carries :( so don’t be surprised when his grip on your hand loosens in the middle of the night and his face scrunches up because he’s having a nightmare
just please cuddle with him :(( he’ll try to play it off like it’s nothing but know better!
when you quietly offer comfort, his defenses will crumble, and he’ll whisper a quiet thank you to you
in the morning he’ll wake up before you and realize just how close the two of you are.
he’s been bearhugging you in his sleep and you’re reciprocating it? hes so confused like ??????? do you wanna get choked or sum yes you do
he’ll just quietly stare at you as if he’s in a daze. he’s got that lovesick smile and all, just silently looking at you like you’re the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen you are
he just as silently fixes the blanket on you because he wants to offer as much comfort as you did last night to him
then he’ll gently apologize to you for disturbing you, smiling to himself when you grumble in your sleep
Tumblr media
sangwoo / 218
this little shit
he’ll pretend not to care about you or about the bed or about the entire situation at all
but you can see how he tries to be as subtle as possible when adjusting the pillow under your head to make sure you’re comfortable
you’re practically begging him to accept his feelings atp but this man is a menace
as soon as he saw the one bed he started calculating how much space you’ll take and how much he’ll get
if you shift closer in your sleep he’ll freeze for a moment but he won’t pull away
if you move a lot in your sleep he won’t say anything just yet
but expect to be bombarded with complaints when you wake up in the morning
he watches you out of the corner of his eye, something he describes as “just trying to protect you” by “keeping watch” but you know he’s just dazzled by your beauty who isnt
he’ll lie awake for a while staring up at that huge piggy bank that his future lies in, and he knows he can’t love you like he wants to, but he hopes that just this once his brain will accept what his heart feels
when the sunlight hits his face in the morning, he’ll look so peaceful that it makes even ali question his mood
all the while gihun is just staring in horror at sangwoo like he got some puss
Tumblr media
ali / 199
THE POOKIEST POOKIE
he’s so shy UGH i jus wanna gobble him up sjsjsjkgnskjn
but he can’t help smiling softly when he realizes how comfortable you seem to be around him
he’ll offer to sleep on the cold hard floor and insists you take the blanket for yourself, but duh you don’t allow that
so with a grin on his face he lies down next to you
he asks you if you need more space at least 10 times, he’s that nervous
the blanket stays on you though, he can’t risk you feeling cold or uncomfy because of him GNELTMENANN
he’ll stay awake if you want someone to talk to, or to make sure you’re warm enough, or even just to admire you
but if you don’t want that, he’ll pull an aurora and fall asleep so quickly you don’t even realize it
his hand stays brushing against yours under the blanket though, and you feel so warm and fuzzy next to him
he’s a snuggler, so there’ll be times where he’ll shift very close to you in his sleep, not realizing the hand he’s keeping on your waist or the head he’s resting on your chest
someone points it out in the morning and he’s so flustered he apologizes profusely even though you keep telling him you didn’t mind it all
definitely says something like “i slept with you, remember?” because he doesn’t realize it’s an innuendo

Haunted by old traumas and abandonment, it’s no surprise that Choso struggles with insomnia. Plagued with nightmares the moment he closes his eyes, Choso would easily spend the entire night awake—if not for you—his ultimate source of comfort.
Therefore, it makes sense why the only way Choso can successfully fall and remain asleep peacefully is when his cock is nestled in the comforting hug of your tight pussy. Your tender sweet cunt could always keep his fears at bay so it’s how he falls asleep most nights.
This is also Choso’s way of protecting you.
Nothing could happen to you, and you couldn't possibly leave him, when his hefty girth is plugged balls deep inside you. He'd sleep all night like that if you'd let him.
Most nights you did too, it was much easier than denying your cute puppy-like boyfriend when he'd start his adorable whimpering.
But tonight happens to be the first night of 'No Nut November'—or it will be in 20 minutes.
There’d been too many times you’d wake up to the syrupy feeling of an early morning creampie oozing out of your sore pussy. Choso often woke up in the middle of the night regardless and slow fucked you until he fell back asleep.
You needed a break.
So of course you refuse Choso when he cuddles up behind you in bed to be the big spoon and presses his stiff erection against the crease of your soft ass cheeks.
Choso in turn, whines like a kicked-puppy into your ear at the reminder of NNN, he hates this stupid bet so much. He doesn't understand why humans participate in this at all and loathes the fact that he let Yuji and Todo goad him into this at the Halloween party earlier that night.
To be honest he didn’t even know what it was about at first, he legit thought you just didn’t eat nuts all month.
But not being able to cum!?
It wasn't just about not fucking you, he wouldn't even be able to jerk it to your angelic face while you slept either!
And for what even—bragging rights?
This was pure madness to Choso as there are no better bragging rights for him than to be able to say his cock was the one that was sheathed in your guts every night. Knowing he couldn't sleep with his cockhead cozying up to your womb for an entire month was driving him mad already.
“Please princess, I need her—one last time!”
Choso’s voice is so pathetic as he whimpers kisses into the back of your neck. It’s a move that usually would have you caving but the effect is greatly dulled by the bags of sand weighing down your eyes. You had to get up for work in the morning and all the hot spiked ciders you had at the party were finally taking their toll.
“Choooo, *yawns*.... but it’s the first night... you can show a little control *yawns* ….can’t you baby?” But Choso is desperate!
“It’s 11:43pm babe, it’s still Halloween—please!”
Choso’s voice breaks slightly as he gathers you up in his arms, pulling you deeper into a toasty cocoon surrounded by his bare chest and blankets. His embrace is so warm and so comforting it's rapid lulling your sleepy eyes closed, you don't have the will to fight him on it this time either.
“Fine C-Cho, *yawns*...but you better fall asleep in 17 minutes—and set an alarm….you hafta pull out before midnight.”
“Thank you baby! Thank you, thank you!”
Choso continues to groan his gratitude into your skin, pulling your tank top straps down to pepper kisses on your shoulder. The relief he felt on being allowed to slip his cock into you was the only thing he could focus on.
Actually considering if he would even be able to keep his promise was the furthest thing from his mind.
Spoiler alert: He wouldn’t.
Slipping down his pajama bottoms and pushing up your nightie, Choso doesn’t waste time slotting himself inside you. He doesn't even need to prepare you. His hard weepy cock meets little resistance to rest against your cervix as your gooey pussy eagerly accommodates him in your drunkenness.
You're fast asleep but your body is still responsive, constricting around his thick throbbing intrusion.
Credit to Choso, he does try to close his eyes and join you in sleep.
Yet your runny cunt is extra sloppy from all the alcohol and it's not long before she is fluttering around his thick girth. Oh god, your pretty pussy was practically begging Choso to fuck you into the mattress like she didn't give a single fuck about 'NNN'.
Bracing himself, Choso lightly presses his clammy palms into the flesh of your hips trying to keep still—but to no avail.
His sanity is slipping, stripped away by your sloppy wetness. Soon, there's no stopping Choso's the tiny micro thrusts from slowly spearing his length deeper into your core. Choso’s fat bulbous tip is planting soft smooches on your womb and the moist suction of your cunt to constricts around him in turn, pulling him in that much deeper.
A sheen of sweat is already over his body as he looks at the time:
11:48 pm.
Fuck!
Choso needed to cum so badly.
He had to get a nut out before midnight—just one.
You wouldn’t be upset with him if he did that, right?
As long as it was before midnight?
You never said he couldn't nut in you, just to pull out before midnight.
Checking to make sure you were still asleep, Choso lightly pushes up your knee. His blunted nails dig into your thigh as he steadily slides his pulsing cock in and out of you with more deliberate strokes.
It takes a strenuous amount of effort not to groan hotly into your ear and wake you and as a result Choso is chewing his lip near bloody. Any thoughts in his head quickly dissolve as it feels too fucking good to bottom out in your slick silken pussy over and over again.
“...m’sorrrrrry…m’so sorrry!”
Choso whispers apologies for his disobedient cock while he slobbers open mouth kisses down the column of your spine.
God, he wanted to keep his promise to you so bad but it was your tight lil’ cunts’ fault for being so slutty when you drank—even in your sleep.
How was he supposed to fall asleep with your core being so warm and twitchy around him?
“Ah—ooo shiiit…Choooo…b-baby…”
Your soft sleepy mewls are almost drowned out completely by your lewd pussy talking so loud the room fills with milky squelches. Choso hears them though, his chest pounding from knowledge that he was dicking you down good enough for your sleepy slutty ass to start dreaming about it too.
FuckFuckFuck!
This wasn’t just about his nut anymore. He couldn't allow you to have a bad ending to your dream if he were to just edge you without making you cum!
Choso couldn't possibly let you suffer, not even in your dreams.
Sliding a hand down your hip to fondle through the soaked folds of your cunt, his thrusts become much deeper, shaking the bed with increasing friction as he continues to spoon and fuck you. Choso pants sound like a dogs whimpers as he sucks the skin behind your ear and rubs circles more furiously on your puffy bud. Disonnected from reality Choso is utterly pussydrunk. His madness is spurred on by the messy acoustics of your soggy clit clicking and joining in the with vulgar melodies from you being split open on his cock.
“C-Can’t d-do it! C-Can’t live…w-without ‘er—w-on’t do it! M's'sorry!”
Choso’s incoherent babbles and frantic thrusts weave their way into your dreams, his pathetic whimpering bleeding into your subconscious. His free hand slips down to press firmly against your belly, right where he knows your sweet spot lies in your core. The pressure sends a jolt through your body, your pussy spazzing around his length as a flood of wetness gushes down your thighs, soaking a large spot into the sheets beneath you.
Your legs twitch as your orgasm peaks, the overwhelming pleasure pulling a soft, sensual moan from your lips, even in your slumber.
Already on the edge, Choso's cock soaks in the tremors of your ecstasy, as you continue to cum from his relentless flicking on your clit.
Choso isn't thinking straight when cruelly pinches your swollen bud so hard you contract on him like a vice and he instantly is cumming buckets inside your cunt. The load inside your pretty pussy is so large you would have thought he actually had waited all of November to fuck you if you'd been awake. Not being able to control his moans Choso turns his head into the pillow as he tries to calm himself, his hips never stop rocking into you until every drop of cum is out of him.
Body sweaty and shuddering against yours Choso eventually pulls out of you although reluctantly. Nerves still tingling from his orgasm, Choso bitterly muses that the real torture hadn’t even started yet.
Choso looks at the time, it wasn’t even November yet, it’s only—
12:03 am.
Damn…welp—fuck it then, right?
His thick cock twitching to life again, Choso guides you over now on your belly, sliding a cushy plush pillow under your hips as you sleepily moan from your dreamworld for him 'not to make your pussy lonely again.'
Well he would certainly remind you of this, in the morning. Sure, it was his fault he fucked up but he surely couldn't keep his pretty princess' pussy empty if that's what she requested of him.
Gripping the base of his cock, Choso buries himself to the hilt once more. He means to ease himself in but momentarily loses control, as strangled cry escapes him and he rams himself back into your guts. Chest heaving, Choso squeezes his eyes shut to hold off cumming so soon again.
The sound and force is enough to make you stir fitfully in your sleep, but Choso is quick to press soft pecks to your forehead to soothe you. “Shhh, princess. I gotchu.” The sleepy reassurances Choso murmurs lulls you back into slumber instantly. Choso takes a moment to admire your angelic face, brow slightly furrowed as you continue to softly hum in sleepy pleasure, before he resumes fucking you.
Yeah, fuck ‘No Nut Novemeber.’
Choso would rather stay inside your sweet pussy for the entire month straight then go a single night without you.
He’d have to apologize to you properly in the morning—perhaps by having you ride his face. blkkizzat ©2023-2024 no ai, reposting, plagiarism or translation allowed.

Logan hadn’t had a nightmare like this in a long time—dark, violent, pulling him back to places he thought he’d managed to bury. He woke up gasping, drenched in cold sweat, fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles had turned white. He barely registered your hands on his shoulders, your soft voice coaxing him back to reality.
"Logan," you whispered, brushing a hand gently through his hair. "It’s okay. You’re safe. I’m here."
As he sat up, breathing ragged, he could feel the old shame tightening in his chest, coiling around his heart like a vise. You didn’t deserve this. You didn’t deserve to be woken up in the middle of the night to deal with his demons, his scars that never truly healed.
In the dim light, he glanced at you, your concerned eyes, the gentle way you held him as though he were something fragile. Something that needed fixing. And it cut deeper than he expected.
"Go back to sleep," he mumbled, pulling away from your touch, trying to put space between you. "You don’t have to… just go back to bed."
You watched him, hurt flashing across your face before you masked it with understanding like you always did. But that only made it worse. Logan felt like a burden, an anchor holding you down when you could be with someone lighter, someone whole.
It was selfish, he realized bitterly, for him to have married you. To drag you into his darkness, to let you tether yourself to someone so broken. You could have had happiness with someone who didn’t carry the weight of a hundred lifetimes, someone who wouldn’t drag you into his nightmares.
The day that followed was unforgiving. The mansion was chaotic with the energy of kids excited for the upcoming weekend, their laughter and chatter echoing through the halls. Normally, Logan found a certain kind of peace in the routine, in the noise and laughter. He’d steal a moment to find you, just to see the way your eyes lit up when you spotted him across the room, the way you’d smile like he was the best part of your day.
But today, he couldn’t bring himself to look for you. Instead, he kept his distance, trying to hold onto the feeling of solitude he hadn’t felt in so long. He couldn’t shake the gnawing thought that he was ruining your life, that every day you stayed by his side, you were giving up a piece of yourself for someone who didn’t deserve it.
Still, avoiding you completely proved impossible. In the late afternoon, he wandered into the library to drop off a book one of the students had left in his class, and there you were, seated at one of the old wooden tables, a notebook open in front of you, scribbling something with that quiet intensity he loved so much.
As if sensing his presence, you looked up and caught his gaze, breaking into a warm smile. "There you are," you said, your voice light, teasing. "I feel like you’ve been avoiding me all day."
The words hung in the air, playful but carrying an undertone of uncertainty. When Logan didn’t respond, your smile faltered slightly, concern filling your eyes.
"Logan," you started, your tone softening, "what’s going on?"
Logan let out a long sigh, shoving his hands deep into his pockets, his gaze dropping to the floor. "Sweetheart," he said, his voice gruff, "don’t… don’t try to make me feel better, alright?"
You blinked, taken aback. "I’m not… I don’t even know what’s wrong. I’m just… trying to understand." Your voice wavered, the usual confidence slipping as you searched his face.
He looked down, feeling the weight of his own words pressing on him, but they spilled out anyway, rough and raw. "I don’t know why you stay with me. You’re too good for someone like me."
The hurt in your eyes was immediate and stark, cutting through him like a blade. Usually, you would have brushed off his self-deprecating comments with a witty remark, or maybe a kiss, but this time…the pain was visible.
"Wow, Logan." Your voice was quiet, almost disbelieving. "I guess if you say it enough, maybe I’ll start to believe it."
He felt his heart clench as he watched you, saw the way you pulled back as if shielding yourself from him. Before he could say anything, you’d gathered up your things and walked out, leaving him alone in the library, the silence heavier than any nightmare.
Later that evening, Logan sat in Xavier’s office, staring at the floor as the Professor studied him with quiet patience. Logan had come here for advice, though he hadn’t known how to ask for it. After a few minutes of silence, Xavier spoke.
"She loves you, Logan," Xavier said gently, his voice filled with the kind of understanding that only came with time. "And yet you push her away despite being married for years now. Why?"
Logan swallowed, struggling to put his feelings into words. "She… deserves better than me," he muttered. "I drag her into my mess. She’s always the one tryin’ to fix me, to hold me together. I don’t wanna keep holdin’ her back."
Xavier regarded him thoughtfully, folding his hands. "Perhaps," he said softly, "she doesn’t see it as a burden, Logan. Perhaps you’re the one who’s still carrying that weight." He paused, allowing the words to sink in. "But by constantly questioning her commitment, by doubting her love, you’re hurting her far more than any nightmare ever could."
Logan’s jaw tightened, shame flooding through him as Xavier’s words settled in. He’d spent so much time convinced he was protecting you by keeping you at arm’s length, he hadn’t realized he was driving a wedge between you. He was the one putting cracks in your relationship, making you question the very foundation of what you’d built together.
Determined to make it up to you, Logan planned a small, thoughtful evening, something that would remind you of the early days, back when things felt simple and uncomplicated. He knew he’d hurt you, and there was no grand gesture that could fix it. But maybe he could start by showing you what you meant to him.
He set up a cozy picnic under the stars in the mansion’s quiet garden, the same spot where he’d taken you for one of your dates. There were blankets laid out, soft lanterns casting a warm glow, and a small table with your favorite food—he’d even found the wine you’d both liked that night.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, you finally came outside, your expression wary but softened by curiosity. Logan’s heart thudded in his chest as he stood, waiting, feeling more vulnerable than he ever had on a battlefield.
"What’s all this?" you asked quietly, glancing around the setup with a mixture of surprise and hesitation.
Logan rubbed the back of his neck, feeling uncharacteristically nervous. "I… wanted to make it up to you. I know I’ve been a real jackass," he admitted, his voice gruff. "I’ve got this… damn habit of pushin’ people away. And I know I’ve hurt you by doin’ it. You didn’t deserve that."
Your expression softened, and you stepped closer, your eyes searching his face.
"There’s a… note," he mumbled, pointing to a folded piece of paper on the table. "I wrote it… y’know, in case I couldn’t say all of it right."
You picked up the note, unfolding it carefully. His handwriting was rough, scrawled across the page, and the words were raw, unpolished, but every line held the weight of his heart:
"I know I don’t say it enough, but you’re the best damn thing that ever happened to me. You’re my light, my peace, even when I don’t think I deserve it. I’d be lost without you, and it scares the hell outta me sometimes. I’m sorry for doubting what we have. I love you more than I know how to say, and I’m the luckiest man in the world to have you by my side."
You looked up at him, tears shimmering in your eyes, but there was a soft, unwavering smile tugging at your lips. "Logan… you don’t have to do all this to prove anything," you murmured, squeezing his hands. "I know how much you love me. I’ve always known."
Logan gave a half-shrug, but his expression softened as he took a tentative step closer, his thumb brushing gently over your knuckles. "Maybe," he muttered, his voice rough, almost vulnerable. "But I’m a damn stubborn fool, and I know I don’t say it enough. Hell, I’m lucky you haven’t given up on me yet."
You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him in close until your foreheads were nearly touching. "Logan," you whispered, your voice steady despite the emotion welling up in your chest. "I knew exactly what I was getting myself into the moment I kissed you that first time. You seem to forget… this is a two-sided relationship. I chose this, and I chose you—all of you. The good, the bad, and even the ugly."
A small, wry smile crossed his face as he held you tighter, his hand splaying against the small of your back. "Guess there’s plenty of that last one," he murmured, his tone filled with self-deprecation.
You shook your head, lifting a hand to cup his cheek, guiding his gaze back to yours. "I don’t want some perfect, easy life. This marriage hasn’t been easy—no one ever promised it would be." Your voice softened, and a flicker of pain crossed your face as you thought back to the late nights, the nightmares, the moments of doubt. "But I wouldn’t trade a single second of it."
Logan’s eyes softened, the weight of your words sinking in as he searched your face. There was a flicker of something vulnerable, almost boyish as if he still couldn’t quite believe that someone like you would stay through it all. "Even with all the times I’ve messed up? Pushed you away?"
"Especially then," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. "I chose you, Logan, knowing every scar you carry. I chose you because you’re worth it. Because beneath all that gruff and growl, there’s a man with a heart bigger than he’ll ever admit."
Logan’s gaze softened, his usual guarded expression melting as he took in the honesty in your eyes. His fingers tightened around yours as if grounding himself in the warmth of your touch.
You swallowed, feeling your throat tighten as you searched for the right words. "Besides, you act like you haven’t been there for me—like I’m the only one giving in this marriage. But that’s not true. You’ve carried me, held me up when I couldn’t stand on my own." A tear slipped down your cheek, and you felt a tremble in your voice as you continued, more vulnerable than you’d ever allowed yourself to be. "I guess… I guess I need to tell you much you mean to me more, because if I ever lost you—"
Your voice broke, the unspoken thought hanging in the air between you. Logan’s hand moved to your face, his thumb gently wiping away the tear that had escaped. He looked at you with a raw intensity, like he was seeing you for the first time and realizing just how deeply his presence affected you.
"I don’t know what I’d do," you whispered, voice barely holding together. "Without you, it’d be like… losing the part of me that makes sense of the world. You’re my safe place, Logan. I don’t want a life that doesn’t have you in it."
A faint tremor ran through Logan, and for a moment he just stood there, absorbing your words. Then, in a rare, unguarded gesture, he pulled you against him, burying his face in your hair, his arms wrapping around you as if he could shield you from everything—himself included.
"You won’t lose me," he murmured, his voice rough, barely more than a whisper. "I’m here. And I’m not goin’ anywhere. Not ever."
You pulled back just enough to look up at him, your hands resting on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart under your palms. "Promise me," you whispered, your voice filled with both a plea and a demand.
Logan’s hand came up to cradle the side of your face, his thumb brushing your cheek as he met your gaze, raw and steady. "I promise, darlin’," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "As long as I’m breathin’, I’m yours."
You nodded, a soft smile breaking through the tears as you let out a shaky breath. "Good," you whispered, a hint of your usual fire returning. "Because I’m not letting you go. You’re stuck with me, tough guy."
A smile finally broke through Logan’s serious expression, a low, rough laugh rumbling from his chest. "Well, I guess I got the better end of that deal," he murmured, his thumb tracing softly over your lips, his gaze warm and unguarded. "Lucky me."
You let out a laugh, sniffing as you swatted his hand away playfully. "No, I’m the lucky one, and don’t go thinking otherwise." You shook your head, the emotions bubbling up as you looked up at him. "You’ve seen the darkest parts of me, Logan. You know it wasn’t always easy for me either."
Logan’s smile faded slightly, his hand still cupping your cheek as he looked down at you, his brow furrowing. "Yeah… I guess sometimes I forget that," he admitted quietly, his voice carrying a hint of regret. "I… I let that damn nightmare get the best of me last night. Pulled me into my head, made me feel like I was poisonin’ your life somehow." He sighed, looking away for a moment. "I let it eat at me, let it convince me that I was only draggin’ you down."
He trailed off, his thumb idly brushing against your cheek, almost as if grounding himself in the warmth of your skin. "Guess I let that fear carry me away," he murmured, his voice barely more than a whisper. "And I hurt you because of it."
Your hand found his, squeezing gently as you shook your head. "You don’t have to apologize for feeling like that. I know what those fears can do. I’ve had them too, remember?"
He frowned, a hint of confusion flashing in his eyes. "You? I… I didn’t know you ever doubted us like that."
A soft smile played on your lips, tinged with a hint of sadness. "Oh, I’ve had my moments. There was a time, back when we were dating when I thought I wasn’t strong enough for all this." You looked down, your fingers tracing small patterns on his hand as you continued. "There were days I felt like I couldn’t handle the weight of what you carried… like maybe I wasn’t enough for you."
Logan’s hand tightened around yours, his gaze darkening as if the thought alone pained him. "I had no idea," he murmured, his voice rough with emotion. "Why didn’t you tell me?"
You gave him a soft, reassuring smile. "Because you already had so much on your shoulders. I didn’t want to add to it. But… there was one night that changed everything."
He tilted his head slightly, his brows furrowing in curiosity. "Which night?"
You took a deep breath, a nostalgic smile crossing your face as you remembered. "It was that night when I got that phone call about my dad being in the hospital. You remember? I’d barely told you anything about him, about my family, because… well, I thought it was easier not to talk about it."
Logan nodded, his gaze intense, recalling the way you had looked that night—pale, shaken, trying to hold yourself together. "Yeah," he said softly. "You were tryin’ to act like you were fine, but I could see you were fallin’ apart inside."
You laughed lightly, nodding. "Exactly. I was a mess, trying so hard not to let it show. But then… you showed up. I was packing a bag, trying to figure out what to do, and suddenly, you were just there. You didn’t ask questions, didn’t push me to talk… you just held me." Your voice softened a hint of awe in it. "And then you drove me to the hospital and stayed with me all night, even though I told you it was fine and that you didn’t have to."
Logan looked down, a faint blush touching his cheeks, as if embarrassed by his own gentleness. "Didn’t seem like you should be alone," he muttered, almost to himself. "Couldn’t leave you to deal with that by yourself."
"Exactly," you whispered, lifting his hand to press a soft kiss to his knuckles. "That night, you made me feel like… like I was worth being cared for. Like I could fall apart, and you’d be there to catch me. That’s when I knew I loved you, Logan. Not because you’re some ‘tough guy’ who protects everyone around him, but because of the way you love—with everything you’ve got, even when it scares you."
He swallowed, visibly moved, his thumb still tracing your cheek as he looked down at you, the weight of your words settling over him. "You’re tellin’ me that one night… that’s what made you fall for me?"
You nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of your mouth. "It made me fall more for you and since then, every time you’ve shown up, every time you’ve let your guard down just enough to let me in… it only made me love you more."
Logan exhaled, his hand slipping down to rest over your heart as if feeling the steady beat under his palm reassured him of something he could never put into words. "I don’t deserve you," he whispered, his voice breaking slightly. "But… God, I’m gonna try like hell to be the man you see me as."
You leaned up, brushing your lips softly against his, pouring every bit of reassurance and love you had into that kiss. "You already are," you murmured against his lips. "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. I wouldn’t trade you, or this life, for anything."
A soft laugh escaped him, full of relief and something tender. “Well,” he whispered, pulling you close, his forehead resting against yours. “I’m done lettin’ my own damn fears get in the way of us."
“Good,” you whispered. “Because marrying you was the best thing I ever did.”
He leaned down, capturing your lips in a kiss. His hand moved to the small of your back, pulling you closer as if you might slip away. When you finally broke apart, he looked down at you with a gaze so soft, so full of unspoken devotion, it made your heart ache.

HOW THEY COMFORT YOU AFTER A NIGHTMARE. moze, mydei, phainon. sfw. fluff + comfort. written with f!reader! in which the hsr men reassure you that you’re safe with them after a scary dream.
Tumblr media
— MOZE.
The room you share with Moze feels foreign as soon as you jolt awake with a sharp gasp. Nothing at all like how it usually is.
It’s Cold. Empty. Much too spacious. And…. where’s Moze?
The nightmare you’ve only barely managed to escape seconds ago comes creeping back to haunt you as quickly as it had left — fragments of fear and loneliness rushing in and swirling about in your head, shooting up your spine as you shakily cling onto your blanket. “M..Moze…?”
There’s nothing, save for the sound of wind beating against the window. Violently so, you quickly realize, with each slam of the branches against the glass making you sink further and further back into the corner of your bed. “…Are you here..? Moze—”
Every part of you hopes that he is. Perhaps he’s just lurking somewhere within the shadows as he normally does. Still beside you nevertheless. Always within earshot and always making sure you were safe.
Any shadow could be him — you know this well, but the shadows don’t usually look so cold. They don’t usually stare back at you with such a haunting air around them, nor do they ever feel this empty.
A part of you wants nothing but to bury yourself beneath your blankets — slam your eyes shut and hope that you’re still dreaming.
Any scenario in which you don’t wake up alone in the dead of night, and any scenario in which Moze hadn’t packed up his things and left without a word.
Any scenario where he’s still here.
But you don’t. Still too fearful to move even a single muscle, so you settle for clinging tightly onto your blankets instead, eyes scanning the room for any sign of movement.
Any sign of Moze.
It’s only a second later when the door creaks. Quietly. Though your eyes seem to finally find the shred of courage needed to slam shut at this, head ducking beneath the blanket with a muffled whimper to seek refuge from what you think is doom.
Only, it never comes.
“You’re awake.” The mattress dips from where he sits down beside you, and then you feel a second blanket cover the lower half of your body soon after. “Did I wake you?”
It’s almost silly how quickly the fear begins to dissipate — his presence enough to convince you to wiggle your way out of your blanket, only enough to peer up at him through tearful eyes. “Moze….?”
The look on his face changes ever so slightly as soon as he hears you, even more as soon as he sees you. “I thought .. you left. Like, left me. In my dream, I think — but when I woke up —”
“I didn’t leave.”
The three simple words that loosen the grip on your chest like clockwork. He pulls you into a tight hug before you manage to choke out another word, strong arms keeping you flush against his chest to let you soak up his warmth, the way you always like to do.
He feels you trembling against him, hears the way you sniffle into his shirt, and yet — you latch onto him without another moment of hesitation. “You were shaking in your sleep.”
Moze doesn’t let go, even when he stretches to reach behind you, bunching the second blanket he had left to grab around your frame before his arms wrap back around you. “I thought you might get sick, otherwise.”
You nuzzle deeper into the safety of his embrace. “You.. you went to get blankets in the middle of the night? Because I was cold..?”
“Yes.”
— MYDEI.
Mydei notices the way you stir in your sleep long before you even have the chance to jerk awake, let alone keep yourself up for nearly long enough to work up the courage needed to nudge at his shoulder seeking some comfort.
It catches his eye within an instant — gaze flickering to the way your eyebrows furrow first, then how your body starts to curl up on itself hoping to hide from something. You’re having a nightmare.
It’s not an odd thing for Mydei to stay awake longer than you. He’s grown fond — Phainon’s words, to be exact — of the way you nuzzle yourself closer to him in your sleep. Just a small habit of yours. To press your cheek into the firm muscle of his arm, your own limbs tangled over his in an effort to keep him close to you.
You insist that it helps you sleep better, and that fact is obvious enough. You sleep like a log as soon as you’re latched onto him as so, and whenever he decides to wrap an arm around your waist to pull you even closer to him — big hand mindlessly rubbing your back up and down and feeling the way your frame melts underneath his touch — your lips curl into a small smile, even in your sleep.
It’s why seeing you in such discomfort bothers him. The way fresh tears start to collect along your lashes, face frowning and body tense and trembling — all things he absolutely never wants to see, especially when you’re safe beside him.
Mydei puts down his drink first. Almost instinctively, not taking his eyes off of you for even a moment before he’s letting out a huff, easily pulling you to rest fully on top of him (another thing that he remembers you enjoying, as you’ve mentioned once that it’s fun to hug him like a koala while sitting in his lap).
Only, you don’t hug him this time, and the frown stays on your face.
He frowns now, too.
“Hey.” His arms wrap around you even tighter now, one moving to cradle the back of your head and the other around your shoulders, as if keeping you safely tucked away from whatever threatens your comfort. “It’s only a nightmare.”
You make a noise in response, one akin to a whine or a grumble before your fingers start to dig into the muscle of his shoulder, stirring and fidgeting in your sleep — even more so than before. His mind hesitates for only a moment, conflicted as to whether he should abruptly wake you or continue to hold you in hopes that whatever is scaring you eventually leaves.
He settles for both.
“Nothing’s here,” he continues, pulling you closer to him, this time moving to press a kiss against your forehead. Another, after. One against your temple. Then another against your forehead, for extra measure.
This time, your expression softens, hands relaxing to lightly rest on his body. It’s working.
“See that?” His voice comes out softer, and perhaps if you were awake, you’d point this out.
But you’re not.
So he settles on holding you close like this instead, keeping you warm and close to his heart. “You’re safe.”
— PHAINON.
“Are you alright?” Your eyes shoot open to be faced with Phainon, hands on each side of your head as he hovers over you, concern and what you think might be a hint of fear etched deep into his features. “You’re okay. It was only a dream.”
“Ph-” you call out to him, or at least you try, but the words get caught in your throat, as if something wants to keep you away from him. Your eyes widen. “..on..?”
You hadn’t been expecting him to visit you so soon. His presence almost catches you off guard, more so than the nightmare that had scared you awake, maybe. (Though, perhaps he had intentionally avoided telling you, since he’s always had a thing or two to say about you skipping rest from excitement to see him.)
It wasn’t uncommon for you to have nightmares like these. Nights where you abruptly jerk awake in a cold sweat, barely mustering the courage to wrap yourself in a blanket before seeking out Phainon.
The first person you’ve always sought out, and the only person whose hold can make you feel as safe as you do. Such as now.
“Come closer,” his brows furrow deeper when your lips continue to wobble, now opting to fully climb onto your bed to lay beside you, immediately pulling you towards him. “You were having a nightmare.”
“Sorry..” you grasp at his shirt, almost instinctively. “I know you’re busy — it’s okay. I was just a little scared—”
He doesn’t move away, only letting out a soft sigh of relief at the realization that you’re at least not physically hurt before he’s holding you even tighter against himself, as if shielding you from your thoughts with his own body. “You’re safe now. I won’t let anything harm you.”
“Don’t worry.”
It might just be magic, you think, the way one simple embrace from Phainon can put an end to your fears so quickly. It was often that you’ve told him this — a shy tug on his sleeve and a reminder of just how much you cherish him, to which he only ruffles your hair with a soft smile — followed by another promise that he’ll keep you safe.
Always.
“And,” he shifts his position on your bed, the movement drawing you out of your thoughts when his chin comes to lightly rest atop your head, “I’ve told you there’s no need for apologies, haven’t I?”
“Oops,” you weakly mumble against his chest. “It slipped again.. sor—”
“Ah. And almost again, huh? That’s fine. Let’s focus on getting you back to sleep again for now,” he plants a gentle kiss on the crown of your head, “Close your eyes.”

nightmares | joaquín torres x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Joaquín Torres x Reader Summary: Ever since the accident at Celestial Island, Joaquín has been having nightmares. He's been trying to keep them a secret from you until one night when you wake up to an empty bed. Warnings: Mentions of nightmares involving death and injuries as well as mental health issues/seeing a therapist and PTSD. Word Count: 2.1k A/N: I had this idea when I saw the film again yesterday and just had to write it. It's a little angsty and more serious than my other Joaquin fics but it still has sweet moments in there. Enjoy! 💗
Joaquin pours himself a glass of water as he stands in the kitchen. He takes a sip of it and sets it down on the bench before leaning on the bench and taking a long, deep breath. The kitchen is pitch black apart from the light of the moon through the window and completely silent except for the ticking of the clock on the wall above the dining table.
He uses the ticks of the clock to help steady his breathing.
Nightmares aren’t uncommon for Joaquin, especially after he’d almost died during the fight at Celestial Island six months ago. Even though he didn’t have any memories after he’d been hit up to when he woke up in the hospital, his mind always tried to fill in the gaps when he was sleeping, but it always added things that hadn’t happened. This was the second time this week that he’d been awoken by a nightmare where he’d actually died.
Not wanting to disturb your sleeping form beside him, he’d gotten out of bed as carefully as possible and come into the kitchen to calm himself down from it. Most nights he had trouble sleeping, but not every night was a nightmare kind of night, and he’s still trying to keep the fact that he has them from you. You don’t need to worry about him more than you already do.
His head snaps up as he hears one of the floorboards in the hallway creak and his heart drops into his stomach as he sees you, still half asleep, appear in the doorway to the kitchen. You’ve put on a robe to warm yourself up – the house often got cold in the middle of the night in the colder months of the year. Joaquin hadn’t bothered to even put on a shirt when he got up, needing the cold to help him snap out of his nightmare.
“Baby, what are you doing?” You ask, voice thick with sleep.
He softens immediately at the sound of your voice. “I’m sorry. Did I wake you?”
You shake your head and start to walk over to him. “No, I just woke up naturally and I noticed that you weren’t in bed so I came looking for you. What are you doing in here? It’s freezing and you barely have any clothes on.”
Joaquin snorts. “I’m wearing boxers, angel.”
“Yeah, my point exactly,” you say before letting out a yawn.
He smiles to himself and wraps his arms around you, pulling you to his chest. It’s an attempt to comfort himself, remind himself that he’s alive and you’re here with him, and also an apology that he’d gotten you up and out of bed. If he’d stayed in bed or been quicker going back, you would still be fast asleep and not in the kitchen at 3am.
“Got myself a personal heater now so I’m fine,” he grins, running his hands up and down your back. Your arms are wrapped around him too, and you’re trying to ignore how cold he feels standing here in the middle of the kitchen.
“You’re also avoiding my question,” you say, pulling back from the hug just enough so you can look him in the eyes. You’re a little more awake now, especially now that you can see Joaquin purposely avoiding answering you. “What are you doing out here?”
He shrugs a shoulder. “Just needed a drink of water. Y’know that 3am feeling when you wake up and your throat is as dry as a desert?”
“Why didn’t you just drink from the glass you put on your nightstand before you went to bed?” You question, eyebrows raised. You can see what he’s doing – trying to move the conversation along so you don’t worry and go back to bed.
Joaquin pauses. Shit. He had put a glass of water on his nightstand before he’d gone to bed but he’d completely forgotten about it in the post nightmare haze and the hurry to get out of bed and wake himself up.
“I guess I forgot about it,” he chuckles – not a lie.
You sigh and step away from him, already missing his arms around you. They fall to his sides and he frowns as he watches you move away from him. Clearly, you didn’t trust a single word he said right now. He wasn’t as good of an actor as he thought.
“I wasn’t going to mention anything about this until you felt comfortable enough to bring it up to me, Joaquin,” you start, crossing your arms over your chest and leaning back against the kitchen island. “But I know you’re having nightmares. I wake up nearly every time you have them because you’re whimpering in your sleep. Most times, you just fall back asleep so I don’t worry about them too much, but nights like tonight…”
Joaquin’s stomach drops. You knew? All this time… and you thought the reason he never told you about them was because he wasn’t comfortable enough to tell you? It feels like he’s been punched in the gut. “How long have you known?”
You shrug. “I don’t remember exactly, but maybe a month? I thought at first that maybe they weren’t bad enough for you to warrant telling me, but the longer you had them without waking me up or telling me about them the next morning made me feel differently.”
Joaquin sighs and runs a hand through his hair. “I never told you because I didn’t want you to worry about me more than you already do, angel,” he explains. “I know you went through hell when I was in the hospital. I know that they had to restart my heart and I almost died in there. You’ve done enough worrying for ten lifetimes on my behalf.”
Just the look on your face is enough for Joaquin to take the few steps separating the two of you and wrap his arms around you again. It’s only a quick hug, though, because you pull away again so you can look at him when you’re talking.
“Joaquin, I signed up to worry about you for the rest of my life when I started dating you, and even more so when you asked me to marry you last year,” you say, holding your hand up as if to remind him of your engagement by showing the ring on your finger. “Yeah, I did go through hell when you were in the hospital. I cried more than I think I’ve ever cried in my whole life, more than I probably ever will again, but if that whole experience is causing you to have nightmares, don’t you think I’m pretty well equipped to help you through them? I sat beside you in that hospital bed for weeks. I was there for every moment of your recovery.”
He reaches up and takes your hand, entwining your fingers with his. He didn’t even have to tell you that it was that accident that was causing the nightmares. You just instinctively knew already. And you were right – you had been there beside him for every second that the Doctors allowed. Half of them he didn’t even know about since he’d been unconscious, but he had no doubts that you were there.
“Tonight,” he begins, “I dreamt that I died after the accident. The doctors weren’t able to save me and I died on the operating table. The other night, I dreamt that I didn’t even make it out of the water. I was falling and then I hit the water and I was sinking. Drowning. No one came to rescue me and they just let me die.”
His voice cracks a little as he speaks. Hearing the words out loud strikes a chord he hadn’t expected. It’s different to just seeing the nightmares in his head and thinking about them.
Your heart hurts as you listen to him and you squeeze his hand tightly. Your other hand rests on his waist and you swipe your thumb up and down over his skin in another attempt to reassure him that you’re here. Those things didn’t happen. The doctors saved him and he’s still alive. He might be scarred both physically and mentally, but he survived.
“Are the nightmares all like that?” You ask softly.
He nods. “They’re always some kind of variation of that. I don’t always die in them. Because I can’t remember everything that happened, my brain just tries to fill in the gaps, I guess. Obviously, I can’t tell if any of it is true or not or if my head is making it all up.”
You reach up with the hand that was on his waist to cup his cheek gently, bringing his eyes back to you. He’d been staring down at the kitchen island behind you without even realising it. “Maybe we can work on getting through these nightmares together, then,” you offer. “I wasn’t there for everything, but when you got to the hospital I was. We could talk to Sam, see if he could talk you through everything that happened between the accident happening and you arriving at the hospital. We were both there when you were in surgery so we can offer different perspectives of that.”
“I don’t really want Sam to know about these nightmares, angel…”
“We don’t have to tell him,” you shake your head. “We can just say that you’re want to know what happened back then. That you’re trying to piece together some of your memories. I know he’d do that for you, Joaquin.”
Joaquin nods. “Yeah, he would,” he says. “So, you think that maybe if I learn about everything that happened between the accident and when I woke up, maybe there wouldn’t be any parts of it for my brain to try and fill cause I know everything that happened?”
“Yeah, basically. It’s worth a try, don’t you think?”
He looks at you for a moment and then nods. Your words make sense and at this point, he’s willing to give anything a go to try and get rid of the nightmares. He realises, then, that he definitely should’ve told you about all of this long ago. He wouldn’t have had to suffer from them alone for all this time if he had.
You squeeze his hand again. “And maybe… you should talk to a professional too.”
Joaquin laughs a little. He’d seen that coming. In fact, he’d been told that he should see someone about possible PTSD not long after he’d woken up in the hospital but he figured it wasn’t going to be necessary. It wasn’t the first time he’d been injured while working. Sure, it was the most serious injury so far, but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. Especially since he had you by his side for his recovery and an invitation to become an Avenger by Sam. He hates that he’s a little too proud to accept help sometimes.
“I think you might be right about that, angel,” he admits, smiling a little. “Thank you for getting out of bed and forcing me to talk about all this. I only wish this hadn’t happened in the middle of the night when you need to get up to go to work in the morning.”
“Yeah, can you try and have a nightmare at 3pm next time instead of 3am? That’d work better for my schedule,” you joke, flashing him a grin. “But, if you’re up for it, I would very much like to try and get some more sleep, and I’d love to have you sleeping beside me if you think you can fall back asleep again.”
Joaquin doesn’t reply, just starts leading you back towards your bedroom, still holding your hand. Once you’re back in your bedroom – a room much darker than the kitchen due to the curtains being drawn – Joaquin pulls the robe off of your shoulders and hangs it back up on the back of your bedroom door.
“I’ll take that as a yes, then?” You ask, looking up at him even though he’s barely visible.
Joaquin leans down and presses his lips to yours in a quick kiss. “Can I be the little spoon?” He murmurs against your lips after he pulls away. “Might make me sleep better, y’know, feeling comforted and protected and all that.”
You huff out a laugh. “I’ll allow us to change things up just this once, baby,” you reply. “Now, hurry up and get back into bed cause you’re freezing and there’s no way I’m cuddling you until you’re at least a little bit warmer.”

last minute remedy
di leon kennedy x fem!reader
basically, he just fucks you to sleep upon request
note: just a little something to ease my insomnia :3 definitely wanna write about him with a hybrid!reader when i can dedicate more time to writing something long and thought out yipee
Tumblr media
leon could never deny you anything. you were his pretty princess. how could he not give in whenever you flashed him a pout and that puppy-dog look of yours that you had perfected to a tee? others would call you spoiled, but whatever you wanted, leon happily gave.
so when you woke him up in the middle of the night with a whisper of his name, a few taps on his shoulder, your cute eyes all wide and expectant as you asked him to fuck you to sleep, he caved pretty quickly.
poor thing, he knew you struggled with falling asleep.
it didn’t take long for his cock to get hard, just the sight of your hand pawing at his boxers was enough to get all his blood rushing south. not to mention the way you pulled your panties off and bunched the fabric of your nightgown up to your hips out of desperation.
fuck. you were so pretty.
that’s how he got here, settled on top of you with his hips nestled between your thighs and your calves lazily crossed over his torso. he’s slow with his movements, letting every inch of his cock fill your needy cunt before pulling out to rub his precum dribbling tip against your clit, and then burying himself back in.
he goes so deep it has your eyes brimming with feel-good tears, and they roll down your cheeks when you shut your eyes.
“yeah, just close your eyes and feel me. don’t gotta worry about a thing, sweet girl.”
he leans down to kiss away your tears, the salty taste of them having become oh so dearly familiar from past moments where you sat on his lap and sobbed your eyes out. or in intimate settings like these where all the pleasurable shocks going through your body had you tearing up.
what a crybaby, he loved it.
who needs a heavy blanket to keep the coldness away when your boyfriend’s body exudes enough heat to keep you all warm and cozy? his body drapes over yours so perfectly.
he knows when you’re close, you don’t even gotta tell him. he feels you squeezing like a vice and he has to resist the urge to creampie you right then and there.
he takes a deep breath, propping himself up on one of his forearms. he’s not getting any younger and he can’t hold back for as long, not when he has a cutie like you under him. he has to make you finish before he spills. his other hand gives one of your tits a gentle squeeze before lowering so the pad of his thumb can circle your swollen clit. his thumb slipped a bit, that’s how soaked you were.
“shh, that’s it…i’ve got you.” he rasps as he presses a kiss against your temple. “just like princess. doing so well for me. you’re gonna dream of me after this, yeah?”
his voice is like a lull, blending in perfectly with the soft sound of your uneven breathing. if you weren’t so damn sleepy, you would’ve been embarrassed by how wet you were, the squelching sounds echoing through the quiet room.
your legs weakly squeeze him, your fingers digging into the sheets, soft and shaky breaths spilling from your lips with sleepy murmurs of his name. “leon, leon, leon…”
no more need to buy gummies and other medications that put you at the risk of getting nightmares. not when leon is more than willing to soothe you by stuffing his dick inside you whenever you ask him to.
it doesn’t even matter that he didn’t shoot a load, just knowing that you were able to go to drift off to dreamland is enough for him.
he gently cleans you up with a warmly washed towel and then freshens up as well before placing a kiss on your forehead as he tucks you in and then slides right next to you, keeping you safe by his side.

"Borrowed Bodies, Reunited Lives".
Tumblr media
Dylan’s Perspective:
I always thought a cruise vacation would be perfect: the sun, the sea, and the chance to disconnect from everything. But when your only travel companions are your parents, who can barely spend a minute together without arguing, the idea loses its charm. So, when my parents announced we’d be spending the holidays sailing to Miami, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and frustration.
They are Ethan and Susan, the perfect representation of a marriage that has lost its way. They argue about everything, from which channel to watch on TV to how to park the car. They never agree, and being in the middle of their endless arguments is a place I’d rather not be. That’s why the idea of spending weeks locked on a ship with them seemed more like a punishment than a break.
If only I could bring Alex and Joshua, my best friends from the gym, things would be different. They’re like my older brothers, always with advice, jokes, and that camaraderie that only forms between those who share long training sessions and complaints about the same exercise machines. Alex is more reserved, but he has a sarcastic sense of humor that always makes me smile, while Joshua is the extrovert of the group, capable of lighting up any room with his energy.
Of course, bringing them along was an impossible dream. My parents would never allow it, and they certainly couldn’t afford it. But sometimes, even the most unlikely things have a strange way of coming true.
One afternoon, as I was walking back from the gym, I saw an elderly woman trying to lift a heavy bag off the sidewalk. I stopped to help her; I didn’t think much of it, it just seemed like the right thing to do. When the woman thanked me, she looked at me with eyes that seemed to pierce through me and said something strange:
—Make a wish, young man. A real one.
I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was some kind of game or joke, but in the end, I said the first thing that came to mind:
—I wish my friends could come with me on the cruise.
The old woman smiled, murmured something I didn’t understand, and walked away. I didn’t dwell on it, although that night I couldn’t help but think about her words.
The day of departure arrived, and as expected, nothing extraordinary happened. Alex and Joshua weren’t there. Everything was the same: my parents arguing, me wishing I wasn’t there. Until, suddenly, things started to get strange.
As the ship set sail, I noticed my parents weren’t just arguing, their voices sounded completely out of place. My dad let out a rude “What the hell am I doing here?”, while my mom muttered a “No way, dude!”. They both looked at me with a mix of confusion and bewilderment.
Then my phone rang. It was Alex. Or at least, that’s what the screen said. I answered, and what I heard on the other end froze me. It was my dad. Or rather, his voice, saying something completely absurd:
—Dylan, it’s me! I’m your dad.
And just like that, my cruise adventure, which already promised to be uncomfortable, took a turn I never could have imagined, even in my worst nightmares.

Ethan and Susan Perspective:
Ethan woke up startled in a place he didn’t recognize. The room was small, with dull-colored walls, barely lit by a beam of sunlight filtering through the curtains. He brought a hand to his face and felt something strange: his beard was gone.
When he looked down, the shock was even greater. This wasn’t his body. His torso was strong, defined, and his hands, large and youthful, weren’t the ones he remembered.
—What the hell is going on?!—he shouted, jumping up.
On the other side of the room, someone else moved. Susan, or at least what should have been Susan, slowly sat up from a single bed. But instead of her slender figure, it was the body of a muscular young man with messy hair and a bewildered expression.
—What happened to me?—Susan asked, touching her face with hands larger than she expected. Then she looked at the mirror in front of her, and a scream escaped her mouth—It can’t be!
Ethan staggered slightly as he approached, trying to control his movements. He looked at both their reflections and confirmed the impossible: he was in Joshua’s body, one of Dylan’s friends, and Susan was in Alex’s.
—This has to be a nightmare…—Ethan said, running a hand through his short hair.
—This isn’t real!—Susan screamed, touching her arms and chest, feeling the muscles now belonging to her. Her gaze was filled with horror—This can’t be real!
At that moment, Susan’s phone—or rather Alex’s, which was in the pocket of her pants—began to ring. They both looked at each other, uncertain. Ethan took the phone and answered.
—Hello?
On the other end of the line, Dylan answered immediately, his tone filled with panic:
—Dad… it’s me.
Ethan squinted.
—Dylan? What’s going on?
—Dad, mom…—Dylan stammered, trying to explain while listening to Alex (now in Ethan’s body) argue with someone in the background—I think… I think you switched bodies with Alex and Joshua.
Susan, who had been listening from across the room, quickly approached.
—What did you do, Dylan?—she asked with Alex’s deep voice, snatching the phone from Ethan—What did you do?!
—I… I didn’t know this was going to happen—Dylan defended himself, his voice full of guilt—I helped an old woman, and she told me she’d grant me a wish. I just asked for Alex and Joshua to come on the cruise with me.
Ethan huffed, snatching the phone back.
—An old woman?! What kind of joke is this?
—It’s not a joke, dad—Dylan replied—This is real, but… I don’t know how to fix it.
—Of course you don’t!—Susan growled from the back, crossing her arms—We’re stuck in the bodies of two guys we barely know!
—Please, just calm down. We need to think…—Dylan tried to say, but his voice sounded weak, even to himself.
—Calm down?—Susan screamed—We lost our cruise, our lives, everything!
Ethan sighed deeply, trying to remain calm, even though his hands were trembling.
—Listen, Dylan. For now, we’ll look for that old woman, if she even exists. You stay on the cruise and try to keep those two idiots under control.
Dylan swallowed hard.
—Got it.
Ethan hung up and placed the phone on the bed, his expression hardened.
—This can’t be permanent, right?—Susan asked quietly, though she knew no one had the answer.
Ethan didn’t respond right away. Instead, he looked at his new arms, so strong that it almost seemed like a joke.
—While we figure out how to reverse this… I think we should make the most of this vacation.
Susan glared at him.
—Make the most of it? Ethan, we’re in the bodies of strangers!
—I know, but we can’t just sit around feeling sorry for ourselves—he said, though a nervous smile crossed his face as he flexed his arms—I never had muscles like this…
Susan ran a hand over her face, frustrated.
—Maybe this is a sign—she murmured, more to herself than to him—A lesson for us.
Ethan raised an eyebrow.
—A lesson?
—To solve our problems… as a couple.
Ethan let out a snort but didn’t argue. Though they both knew that the only thing they could agree on was finding that old woman and returning to their lives as quickly as possible.
In the city, Ethan and Susan walked down a narrow alley, following the coordinates Dylan had provided over the phone. However, the place was empty, with no trace of the gypsy old woman who had set everything in motion.
—This can’t be, she doesn’t even exist!—Susan exclaimed, crossing her arms and shooting a reproachful glance at Ethan—This is your fault.
Ethan raised an eyebrow, clearly tired of his wife’s constant accusations.
—My fault? Please! Dylan was the one who made the wish, and we’re the ones stuck in this mess with his little friends.
Susan snorted, turning around to head back to the apartment they were now sharing.
Once they arrived, they both collapsed on the sofa. Susan sighed with frustration, while Ethan stood up to inspect the small living room.
—This is a disaster—Susan said, bringing her hands to her face—I just want my normal life back.
—I wouldn’t complain too much, you know?—Ethan responded with a smile, taking off his shirt in front of the apartment mirror. He admired his defined and sculpted muscles, something he hadn’t seen in years—Look at this! When was the last time I looked like this?
—For the love of God, Ethan! Put your shirt on. This is ridiculous—Susan scolded, though her gaze briefly drifted to her husband, now in Joshua’s body.
—Ridiculous?—Ethan chuckled as he flexed his arms in front of the mirror—This is like turning back time.
Fed up with his attitude, Susan jumped up and, in a burst of frustration, decided to check for herself how she looked now. She stood in front of the mirror and, with some curiosity, slid her hands down the muscular arms of Alex’s body.
Tumblr media
—This… this is weird—Susan admitted quietly, staring at her reflection. Her new body was strong and bulky, something she never imagined experiencing—I’ve never felt like this in my life.
—Weird?—Ethan said, approaching her with a teasing smile—Don’t tell me you’re not enjoying it a little.
Susan rolled her eyes and stepped away from the mirror.
—I don’t care how I look now. What I want is to get my life back, not walk around showing off like you.
Ethan raised his hands in a peace gesture, although he still had a satisfied expression.
—Alright, alright. But, while we find the old woman, we could make the most of it… How about we go out for dinner?
—Dinner?—Susan repeated, raising an eyebrow.
—Yes, of course. But first, I think we should go to the gym. Isn’t that what Alex and Joshua would do? Besides, I’m sure these bodies need exercise to stay like this.
Reluctantly, Susan agreed. After all, there wasn’t much else to do.
At the gym, they faced the demanding routines of Alex and Joshua. Ethan, used to a much more sedentary lifestyle, tried to keep up with the weights, while Susan, clearly annoyed, followed the instructions she found on Alex’s phone.
—This is crazy—Susan murmured, wiping the sweat from her forehead as she watched Ethan drinking an energy shake—How do they do this every day?
—It’s a matter of habit—Ethan replied, smiling as he approached a treadmill.
Suddenly, a young man approached them. He was wearing tight athletic gear and had a relaxed attitude.
Tumblr media
—Alex? Joshua?—Ethan asked with a smile, looking them up and down.
Sergio and Susan exchanged quick glances. They had no idea who he was, but decided to play along.
—Yes, it's us—Ethan replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
The young man nodded, as if he already knew them well.
—Great. Hey, I’m hosting a party tonight. You guys should come. It’ll be at my place, nothing formal, just friends.
—Party?—Susan repeated, surprised.
—Yeah, sure. It’ll be fun—the young man responded before giving them more details and walking away with a smile.
When the young man disappeared from sight, Ethan turned to Susan with enthusiasm.
—This is perfect.
—Perfect?—Susan said, crossing her arms—Are you suggesting we go?
—Of course. When was the last time we went to a party with young people? All we do is attend boring adult gatherings. This could be an opportunity to experience something new.
Susan looked at him incredulously, but deep down, something in his words sparked her curiosity.
—Suppose I agree… But no acting like an idiot, Ethan.
—Deal!—he replied with a triumphant smile.
Meanwhile, Susan couldn’t help but wonder if this experience might be more than just a bad nightmare… Maybe, even, an opportunity to rediscover something lost in their relationship.
The night came, and Ethan and Susan, more nervous than excited, tried to pick the best clothes they could find in Alex and Joshua’s wardrobes. Ethan chose some tight dark jeans and a white shirt that was a little too snug, while Susan, uncomfortable, put on a sleeveless shirt and shorts that left little to the imagination.
—This is ridiculous—Susan said, adjusting her clothes in front of the mirror—Do young people really dress like this?
—Relax—Ethan replied, straightening his shirt collar—We’re doing this to fit in, remember?
With little money in their pockets, they decided to stop for a coffee before heading to the party. Sitting at a small table by the window, the atmosphere was surprisingly calm. For the first time in years, they weren’t arguing.
—This is… strange—Susan commented, stirring her coffee.
—What’s strange?—Ethan asked, looking out the window.
—Us. Here, not fighting. As if… as if we were another couple.
Ethan smiled faintly.
—Maybe this change has something good after all.
Before Susan could respond, Ethan’s phone started ringing. It was Dylan.
Tumblr media
—How’s everything going over there?—Ethan asked as Susan moved closer to listen.
—Fine... I think. Alex and Joshua are keeping it together, although it’s total chaos.—Dylan sighed on the other end of the line—Did you find the old woman?
—No—Susan responded with frustration—We followed the coordinates, but there was no sign of her.
—Well, at least you tried.
Ethan cleared his throat.
—By the way, we’re going to a party tonight.
—What?—Dylan exclaimed—What party? Whose?
—A guy from the gym invited us. We don’t know him, but he seemed insistent.—Ethan paused—Dylan, do you know who he is?
—No. Maybe he’s new in town or at the gym. Be careful.
They hung up shortly after, and Ethan and Susan finished their coffees before heading to the party.
The place was full of energy. Colorful lights blinked while music echoed in every corner. People were laughing, dancing, and chatting in small groups. Ethan and Susan looked at each other nervously before entering, trying to appear relaxed.
—Remember, act like we know them—Ethan whispered.
Inside, they recognized several people from the gym. Probably Alex and Joshua's friends. Susan tried to chat with a few people, but couldn’t fully connect, while Ethan helped himself to a drink at the table.
It was then that the guy who had invited them appeared. He was tall, with dark brown hair and a charismatic smile.
Tumblr media
—Alex, Joshua, I’m glad you came—the young man said, shaking their hands—I’m Elijah, by the way.
—Nice to meet you, Elijah—Susan replied, trying to sound casual.
Elijah smiled in a peculiar way, as if he knew something more.
—So, how are you adjusting to... the new?—he asked with a tone that seemed both innocent and mocking.
Ethan felt something stir inside him. That phrase had been too specific.
—What do you mean?—Ethan asked, feigning disinterest.
Elijah shrugged, his smile barely visible.
—Nothing, just a way of saying. Enjoy the party.
As Elijah walked away, Ethan was left thinking. How could he know something? The idea that he might be connected to the old woman crossed his mind, but he quickly dismissed it. However, something didn’t add up.
He decided to find Susan to talk about it, but at that moment, someone else approached him.
—Hey, Alex, wanna grab a drink?—a young man asked, calling Susan, or rather, Alex’s body.
Susan, unsuspecting, accepted the invitation and walked away, leaving Ethan alone.
Ethan sat at one of the tables, reflecting on what had just happened. He looked around, observing the other guests, but couldn’t get Elijah’s words out of his mind.
—So, how are you adjusting to... the new?
Lost in his thoughts, he barely noticed when Susan came back. But what really snapped him out of his reverie was seeing her without a shirt, wearing a swimsuit she had found in the apartment.
—What the hell are you doing?—Sergio asked, alarmed.
Susan shrugged.
—Apparently, this is normal here. Besides, who cares? No one knows who we really are.
Ethan put a hand to his face, stifling a sigh. This night was going to be longer than he expected.
Tumblr media
Susan, still animated by the festive atmosphere and clearly affected by the drinks, approached Ethan with a radiant smile.
—There’s a pool!—she said excitedly—I need a swim, and you do too.
—Susan, I think you've had enough to drink—Ethan responded cautiously, noticing the peculiar gleam in his wife’s eyes.
—Oh, come on! Don’t be boring.—Without waiting for a response, she grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the pool.
Ethan, surprised by the gesture, felt a strange warmth rise to his face. It was something so simple, but it had been so long since he felt that spontaneous connection with Susan. Was he blushing?
When they reached the pool, the atmosphere was completely different: laughter, softer music, and a group of young people enjoying the water under the colorful lights. Susan, without a second thought, jumped into the water, while Sergio stood at the edge, watching her.
—Ethan, come on!—she shouted, splashing him playfully.
He sighed, finally giving in, and stepped into the water. However, just a few minutes later, Susan moved away again, leaving him alone.
Ethan got out of the pool, drying himself off while looking for Susan in the crowd. That’s when he noticed Elijah, standing near a table, looking at him with a smile that seemed more calculated than friendly.
—Hey, Joshua…—Elijah said, walking toward him—Sorry for what I said earlier, about “adjusting to the new.”
—No problem—Ethan replied, though his tone made it clear he didn’t believe the apology—Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm looking for someone.
But Elijah placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.
—Wait, let me explain why I said that.
With a mix of suspicion and curiosity, Ethan decided to follow him. Elijah led him to a room downstairs and closed the door behind them.
—So, what’s this about?—Ethan asked, crossing his arms.
Elijah didn’t answer right away. Instead, he got closer, his eyes locked on Ethan’s.
—You know, Joshua... there’s something about you tonight. Something different.
Before Ethan could react, Elijah surprised him by leaning in to kiss him. Elijah’s lips met Ethan’s, and for a moment, Etnan was frozen. He had never kissed a man, nor had he ever imagined being in this situation. Why wasn’t he pulling away?
Finally, he reacted and pulled back abruptly, his heart pounding.
—What the hell are you doing?—he said, breathless, as he stepped back toward the door.
Elijah showed no remorse, just a mysterious smile.
—Maybe… Joshua isn’t as different as you think.
Without responding, Ethan hurriedly left the room, determined to find Susan.
When he finally found her, what he saw left him stunned. Susan, in Alex’s body, was standing close to a young woman, talking in a way that was far too familiar. The girl was laughing while Susan touched her arm, as if she were flirting.
Tumblr media
Ethan furrowed his brow as he watched them both head upstairs.
—Susan! —he called, rushing after them.
Susan stopped, turning to face him with an annoyed look.
—What now?
—What are you doing? —Ethan demanded, trying to stay calm—. This is not the time to pretend to be someone else.
—Oh, please, Ethan —Susan replied, crossing her arms—. We're stuck in this absurd situation, what does it matter?
—It matters because we need to take care of each other and stick together. The best thing is that we leave now.
Susan glared at him, shaking her head.
—Do you always have to ruin everything? For once in my life, I just want to have fun.
Before Ethan could respond, Susan turned around and left with the girl.
Frustrated and angry, Ethan decided he’d had enough. He returned to the changing room, grabbed his clothes, and left the party without looking back.
Back at the apartment, Ethan locked himself in the small room he was now occupying, throwing himself onto the bed with a sigh of exhaustion. He waited, phone in hand, for a call or message from Susan, but nothing came.
As he tried to calm himself, his mind drifted back to the kiss from Elijah.
Why didn’t I pull away sooner? he thought, bringing a hand to his lips. He’d never kissed a man before, but there was something about that moment… something that unsettled him.
—I’m not gay… —he murmured, as if trying to convince himself.
Still, he couldn’t ignore what he had felt. Was Joshua gay? The idea troubled him, but it also stirred a strange curiosity.
With conflicting thoughts and emotions, he closed his eyes, and eventually, exhaustion overtook him.
The sound of the alarm clock vibrated softly, and Ethan opened his eyes, hoping everything had returned to normal. But it hadn’t. He was still in Joshua’s body. He glanced at the clock: 11:15 a.m.
He got up sluggishly, running his hands over his face and walking toward the bathroom to do his morning routine. As he washed his hands, an unmistakable smell hit his nose: food. Who was cooking?
When he reached the kitchen, he found Susan, still in Alex’s body, preparing what looked like a balanced breakfast: eggs, avocado, oatmeal, and a protein shake.
—Good morning, “J-Machine”! —Susan said with a smile, using a nickname that seemed to belong to Alex for Joshua.
Ethan frowned at the use of the nickname but decided to ignore it.
—Good morning… —he replied as he sat down at the small kitchen table—. Do you feel alright after last night?
Susan shrugged.
—Yeah, nothing a shower and coffee can’t fix.
—Well, I wanted to talk about what happened at the party…
—About what? —Susan asked, not looking at him as she served a plate.
—About what you did —Ethan insisted—. You drank too much, flirted with a girl, and then left with her. What the hell were you thinking?
Susan briefly looked at him, then returned her attention to her phone, typing messages and smiling as though she wasn’t in the middle of a serious conversation.
—Yeah, yeah… I’m sorry. Do you want avocado or double oatmeal? —Susan said indifferently.
—Susan, listen to me! —Ethan exclaimed, tapping the table gently to get her attention.
Finally, she looked up, slightly irritated.
—What? What did I do wrong now?
—Everything! —Ethan replied with frustration—. You’ve been acting like this is all a game. Not just last night, but always. Even when we were in our original bodies.
Susan frowned, setting her phone aside.
—What do you mean?
—I mean you and I have been distant for years —Ethan confessed, his tone more serious—. But last night, while I was trying to take care of you in that body, I felt something… something I haven’t felt in years. That connection we had when we were younger.
Susan looked at him in disbelief, then let out a sarcastic laugh.
—Connection? Or are you confusing things? Are you gay now?
—What? —Ethan asked, surprised by the question.
—Yeah, because all of this sounds weird. You’re telling me you felt “something” for me while I’m in Alex’s body. What’s going on, Ethan? Are you falling in love with your friend son?
Ethan opened his mouth to respond, but the words didn’t come immediately.
—It’s not that… —he murmured finally, averting his gaze—. It’s more complicated than that.
—More complicated? —Susan repeated, raising an eyebrow—. I don’t know what’s going on with you, but I hope this isn’t about the kiss with Elijah or something like that.
Ethan suddenly stood up, pushing the chair aside.
—You know what? Forget it. I don’t know why I try to talk to you. You always avoid everything, even now that we’re not ourselves.
—Where are you going? —Susan shouted, raising her voice.
—Anywhere where I don’t have to deal with you —Ethan responded, leaving the kitchen and leaving Susan with an expression of confusion and anger.
As he walked toward his room, his thoughts swirled in his mind. Was Susan right? Was he confusing his emotions? Between Elijah’s kiss, Joshua’s body, and his accumulated frustration, nothing seemed to make sense.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Days passed in which Ethan and Susan barely spoke to each other. The resentment from breakfast still lingered, and each one had opted to focus on their own routines. Susan, in Alex's young and athletic body, had become the life of the gym; always surrounded by people, she generated glances and conversations wherever she went. Meanwhile, Ethan preferred to isolate himself in the apartment, playing video games and reflecting on what had happened at that party.
The image of Elijah continued to haunt his mind, especially the kiss they shared. Ethan felt confused, as if that experience had awakened something in him, something he still couldn't fully understand.
On the fifth day, finally, something changed. Tired of the awkward silence, Susan approached Ethan in the living room while he was playing.
—Can we talk? —she asked, in a softer tone than usual.
Ethan paused the game and looked at her, hesitating for a moment.
—I suppose so.
Susan sat next to him, settling into the couch.
—I want to apologize. Not just for what happened at the party, but… for everything. For how things have been between us, even before this strange exchange.
Ethan watched her, surprised by her sincerity.
—I’ve messed up too. I’ve been too wrapped up in myself… and, well, you saw what happened that night. I shouldn’t have scolded you like that.
—No, you were right —Susan admitted—. I’ve always been the type to avoid things instead of facing them. But after all this… I think it’s time to change, for Dylan. Although now, technically, he’s our best friend.
They both chuckled lightly, easing some of the tension.
—For Dylan —Ethan said, raising his fist.
—For Dylan —Susan repeated, bumping her fist against Ethan's.
For a moment, silence settled again, but this time it wasn’t uncomfortable. There was something in the air, a connection they both felt but didn’t know how to express. Susan looked at him with a mix of curiosity and nervousness.
—Can I ask you something? —she said.
—Sure.
—What happened with Elijah?
Ethan sighed and looked away.
—It was strange. I don’t know why he did it… but when he kissed me, I didn’t hate it.
Susan looked at him intently, processing his words.
—You didn’t hate it?
—No. In fact, I think… I liked it.
The atmosphere grew more intimate. Susan placed her hand on Ethan's, and he looked directly at her for the first time in days.
—Maybe all of this is a sign —Susan whispered—. A way to show us that we don’t have to cling to who we were before.
Ethan nodded, and before he could respond, Susan leaned in toward him. It was a soft kiss, filled with a mix of nostalgia, curiosity, and something new that neither of them had ever felt before.
What started as a kiss soon turned into something more. Their bodies, although not their original ones, seemed to fit in a way they had never imagined. They surrendered to the moment, leaving behind the doubts and conflicts that had separated them for so long.
Days later...
Life went on. They hadn’t returned to their original bodies, but it no longer seemed to matter. Ethan and Susan had decided to stop searching for the old woman and, instead, embrace this new opportunity to get to know each other from a completely different perspective.
Dylan, still on the cruise, was completely unaware of what had happened between them, but he would surely find out when he returned. In the meantime, Susan and Ethan found a new routine, learning to live with their new realities and with a relationship that, although unexpected, had given them a new perspective on what it meant to be partners, friends, and companions in this surreal experience that they now called life.

Eyes dont miss - Theo Nott x reader
Description: When you try to hide your anxiety from your observant boyfriend Theodore, it comes in crashing on you in the middle of the night, and you can't run from it any longer.
TW: anxiety attack
Word count: 1.3k
Fluff, unedited
...
There was little that Theodore missed.
In his eyes, he carried a loaded gun.
Ammo full of meticulous attention to detail.
He had you studied, fluent in you as if you were a language, the twitches in your eyes a verb, the tone in your voice an adjective.
You thought you hid yourself well, well enough to go unnoticed.
But he watched, even when you insisted on being ok.
He was demanding, a trait both good and bad, his stern demeanour insisting on answers, meeting your same stubborn answer, you were okay. Liar.
When it came to you, Theodore wouldn't allow himself to leave the slightest detail unscathed.
He watched and observed as you drew on your arms during class.
How you picked at the skin around your nails under the table of the great hall during dinner, your twitching hands fiddling as if your fingers depended on it.
How would you chew the gums at the side of your mouth
How he felt your fingers claw a little deeper into his shoulder when he suggested you both turn in for bed.
To Theodore, these things were concerning, though, when he would approach and accuse you of being undeniably going through it, you would deny, deny, deny.
Until you both hit the worst of it, in a cold winter night when you couldn't run away from it anymore. In the still and quiet hour of three am, you pant, in a hot sweat, string in a nightmare until Theo woke, immediately halting you up much to your fright.
As you sat up, the heavy rise and fall of your chest began to set him off too, his own breath hitched watching you fall apart for reasons above him.
His heavy hand polished up and down your back, he meant to be gentle, but he couldn't stop his mind to remember to be tender.
"What's going on" his voice echos through your ears
"Why are you yelling?!" you scream, your hands glued to your head, you wanted to rip your hair out there and then.
"What? Darling, talk to me," he quietly softly. He wasn't yelling, though to you. To you, his voice boomed with volume; just focus, you reminded yourself, come on idiot, stop this, stop it, focus, focus, focus.
Your hands fall in front of your face as you dig your nails into your skin time and time over.
When Theodore's hands take hold of your own, realise the almost bloody palms spread out, lacing his palms into yours.
"Feel my hand, hear my voice, c'mon" he whispered out.
His words cut through the fog like a lifeline, grounding you in their gentleness. Your head spun, reality blurred at the edges, but the steady warmth of his hands kept you tethered.
"Look at me," Theo urged softly, voice barely a murmur, as if afraid to startle you. He didn’t pull you out of the moment harshly, didn’t demand you shake it off. No, he anchored you, the pad of his thumb brushing along the back of your knuckles, each slow pass soothing, steadying.
He kept as much distance as he could, as if you were roadkill like he was gently aiding you off the road.
"Feel that, love?" he whispered, his dark eyes locked on yours with an intensity that was grounding in its calmness. "That’s me. I’m right here. I’ve got you."
You nodded, though the tremor in your hands betrayed you. Theo’s gaze remained unwavering, watching every flicker in your expression, the tiny cracks forming in your armour. You felt his hand drift to your cheek, warm and solid, the weight of it reassuring.
"I—" you started, words tangling in your throat, the shame of it making you flinch. The anxiety had been building for days, creeping up on you like a shadow. You'd convinced yourself you could manage, that you didn't need anyone, but Teddy wouldn't have that.
You weren't clueless. You brushed off his attempts of interrogation, but at this point, you were defenceless.
“You don’t have to explain it all, you know,” he murmured, his voice carrying the hint of a smile, as if he already understood without needing your words. "Just breathe. With me."
He guided you, slow and rhythmic, his own breathing soft and even. You mirrored him, matching his inhales and exhales, feeling the wild storm inside begin to quiet.
“Better?” he asked after a moment, not rushing, just waiting for you. His hand didn’t leave yours, fingers laced like he wouldn’t dare let go. And somehow, that small gesture made you feel safer than you’d felt in days.
You nodded again, feeling your heartbeat slow, the panic that had gripped you loosening, dissolving under his patient watch.
“Theo…” your voice broke a little, shaky and raw, but he just shook his head, his lips quirking up in that way that made you feel seen. Not judged. Not pitied. Just seen.
“Don’t worry about it,” he whispered, brushing a stray tear from your cheek with the back of his hand. “I’ll always be here, yeah? I've got eyes on you. You don’t have to go through this alone.”
And in that moment, you knew he meant it.
Theo's gaze softened even further, though his grip on your hand remained firm, grounding. The quiet between you both was filled with his silent assurances, a warmth that felt like a promise of safety. Your heart felt exposed, raw, but under Theo’s watchful eyes, vulnerability didn’t feel like a weakness. It felt like trust.
He shifted closer, closing the small gap between you, his knees brushing against yours as he sat across from you on the bed. “This… whatever it is you’re carrying,” he murmured, voice barely above a whisper, “you don’t have to carry it alone.”
You hesitated, your mind flickering back to the countless times you’d brushed off his concern with a casual smile or a quick change of subject. You’d thought you were sparing him, protecting him from the weight of it all. But Theo was persistent, as if each little gesture you’d thought went unnoticed only made him more determined to understand.
He gave your hand a gentle squeeze, bringing you back from the haze of your thoughts. “You don’t have to be okay all the time, you know?” His voice was calm, unwavering. “Not with me. I’d rather have your truth than your silence.”
A shiver ran down your spine, the walls you’d built up crumbling in the quiet of his words. Slowly, almost hesitantly, you nodded, feeling a strange sort of relief wash over you, like a weight finally lifted.
"I… I didn’t want you to worry,” you whispered, your voice so soft it almost felt like a confession. “Didn’t want you to think I couldn’t handle it.”
Theo tilted his head, an understanding smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Love, if handling it means suffering alone, I’d rather you not handle it at all.” His tone was gentle, but the conviction in his words was unyielding. "You’re not alone in this. Not anymore.”
The sincerity in his voice sent a sense of warmth through your chest, leaving you feeling exposed yet comforted in a way you hadn’t felt in so long. Slowly, he reached up, his hand brushing the hair back from your face, his touch feather-light but grounding.
You took a shaky breath, letting yourself lean into his touch, allowing the weight of the moment to settle. For the first time, you felt like maybe, just maybe, it was okay to not be okay. Because Theo wasn’t going anywhere. And for him, your honesty mattered more than anything you could hide.
The panic and the anxiety might not be going anytime soon, but you knew neither was Theo.
“Thank you,” you breathed, the words barely audible, but Theo heard. He always did. He listened, and watched and understood, he loved with all his senses. He never missed.
...
A/N, my darlings, I'm back writing again. Requests are open, and if any of you suffer from anxiety, my inbox is always a safe place for you to come and talk about it, or anything in general.
Peace and love,
B.

ᯓ★ SHOTARO
Shotaro was starting to fall asleep when he suddenly woke up, startled by your voice. He turned over and snuggled closer to you, pulling your body against his, and that’s when he realized you were whispering his name between soft gasps. At first, he was a bit confused, but then he understood what was happening. He watched you for a few seconds, letting out a small chuckle before placing a kiss on your forehead.
The next day, and the days after, he would surely remind you about it. He’d keep teasing you for days about how you said his name in your sleep, something he found both funny and adorable.
"You probably imagined it, Shotaro…"
"I swear you did. Can’t you do it again so I can record it and show you?"
"I can’t control my dreams, dummy…"
ᯓ★ EUNSEOK
You had fallen asleep next to Eunseok on the couch while he was scrolling through his phone. He couldn’t help but set the phone aside and smile when he realized you were having a steamy dream about him, softly gasping his name every now and then.
Hearing you whimper was something he absolutely loved, so he spent most of the time just watching you until you woke up, feeling a bit confused and flustered from the dream. When you noticed Eunseok looking at you, all you could think about was whether he had heard you or not.
"Did you sleep well, princess? You seem a bit restless."
"Yeah… I just had a weird dream," you tried to play it off, but Eunseok chuckled, moving closer to you and placing his hands on you.
"Why don’t you tell me about it?"
ᯓ★ SUNGCHAN
Sungchan woke up in the middle of the night to the sounds you were making. He turned towards you, still half asleep, thinking you were having a nightmare and ready to wake you up, but when he realized you were gasping his name, he was wide awake.
He couldn’t help but watch you for a few moments in silence, thinking about how adorable you looked. After a few seconds, he moved closer, wrapping his arms around you and planting kisses all over your face to wake you up. When you finally did (complaining about being woken up), you found Sungchan trailing kisses down your neck.
"Sungchan… what are you doing?"
"Just waking up my doll the way she deserves."
"It’s 4 a.m., Sungchan…"
"You didn’t seem to be complaining when you were dreaming about me."
ᯓ★ WONBIN
Wonbin would be completely shocked. You had fallen asleep on his bed while he was watching videos on his computer. When he heard your voice, he paused the video, turning in his chair to look at you. He couldn’t help but let out a small laugh when he realized you were talking in your sleep.
He moved closer to you on the bed, and when he realized you were gasping his name, he was stunned. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, so he watched you for a few moments before gently shaking you to wake you up.
"Y/n, wake up, stop dreaming those things about me."
ᯓ★ SEUNGHAN
Seunghan would find it incredibly adorable. You had fallen asleep with your head on his lap, so he clearly heard when you started saying his name. The moment you woke up, he didn’t waste a second before asking you what you had been dreaming about, although at first, you couldn’t remember.
When it finally came back to you, you couldn’t help but blush, and Seunghan laughed, knowing exactly what you had dreamed. He wouldn’t stop asking you about it for weeks, even months.
"Can you tell me about it, please?" "What was I doing? We can recreate it if you want…"
ᯓ★ SOHEE
Sohee would be really embarrassed and wouldn’t know how to react at first. You had fallen asleep on his shoulder during the bus ride home. He couldn’t believe it when he heard you softly whispering his name between gasps.
He became even more embarrassed because there were other people on the bus, and it was fairly quiet. To play it off, he kept coughing and tried to nudge you awake, but it didn’t work.
When you finally arrived and woke up, Sohee didn’t say anything, and when you remembered what had happened, you couldn’t help but blush. The rest of the trip home was spent in silence, both of you not knowing what to say.
ᯓ★ ANTON
He would find it funny and, at the same time, feel a little proud that you were having a steamy dream about him. You had fallen asleep next to him while he was editing something on his laptop. When he heard you gasp his name, he couldn’t help but think it was hilarious, so he recorded it to show you when you woke up (and to keep it as a little memento, if we're being honest).
"Did you sleep well?"
"Huh? Yeah… I had a good dream," you murmured, unaware that he had heard everything.
"I know, love, I heard how much that Anton guy was making you feel good," he said with a little laugh.

Guardian angel
Tumblr media
Leah Williamson x Alessia Russo x child
A note from the author: Another glimse into the universe of musli.
Warning: Angst? Night terrors? Boys??
Summary: You try to start kindergarten, but Leah comes to a realisation.
-
You can feel your heart beaming in your chest. The beats are hard, almost painful. It feels like it’s about to fall out of your chest, and run away to a place of safety. A place that you have yet to find. You stand behind the corner of the hallway scared to peek out while Alessia and Leah is arguing. You had woken up hearing them argue. Their voices angry, both filled with rage. Your worst nightmare had cometrue. You made the two women hate each other. The only fosterhome you had felt somewhat safe in, was falling apart because of you. You remeber how your foster brother, Sebastian, would tell you that his parents was splitting up because of you. It makes your tiny hands tremble. You felt a gulp in your throat, but at the same time it was screaming for water. Tears linger in your eyes before you violently try to rub them away. You swallow a sob terrified to bring attention to yourself.
“I hate you! I hate her! Why do we even let her stay?!” Leah yells after Alessia who moves to stand behind the couch in the middle of the room.
“Stop being a bitch about it, we can just get rid of it!” Alessia hurries back at Leah.
Leah frowns.
“Oh, now, NOW, I know i understand! Where is she? Where is the problem??!”
They both turn to look at you as you tumble out of your hiding spot. You dont understand why you end up tumbling out from your hiding spot. Leah laughs in a way that immediately makes you want to cry. She sounds like one of the evil stepmothers on the princess movies.
“You! You are the problem! Y/N, come here! You are leaving now! Out!” Leah scream at you before they both start chasing you down the hallway.
Your feet picks up and you run as fast as you can before you reach the guest room that you remind yourself are only borrowing. Everything feels like a blur. Your hands try to cling to the door in an attempt to unlock it. But you can’t get the door open. It seems stuck. Your hands arent strong enough. You try as hard as you can. But it won’t budge. Not even when you use all the force in your body.
You turn around to face the two women who are slowly creeping up on you. They have devilish looks on their faces, and you cry hysterically in panic.
“Please, Please, Mrs.Alessia, I’ll leave! I promise, don’t hurt me!”
You cry back, but they won’t listen. They just keep their scary smiles plastered on their faces while slwly moving towards you. You don’t know what to do. Alessia’s eyes look kind of black, you notice. It scares you even further. You scream as the pair of them comes up close to you with the most intense smiles you have ever seen. You close your eyes in terror as you scream and cry. The panic sets in.
“Mommy!! I want mommy! Mommy, please, please! Please, come get me mommy! Don’t hurt me please, I’m-I’m gonna be good, I promi-
That’s when you feel a pair of hands on your shoulders, you can feel a sensation of someone shaking you gently. It startles you. You jerk in shock. You feel out of breath. Your hands are clinging to your eyes, terrified to open them.
“Y/N? Love, it’s okay. It’s just a dream”
Just a dream, you think. You are not sure if you believe it. You open one of your eyes slowly and see Alessia hunched down next to you on the carpet. Your body is feeling sweaty, and you are exhausted. Every part of your body feels tense. Leah is standing in the doorway with a sad look on her face while giving you a sad smile.
You look at Alessia with panic in your eyes. The realisation has hit you, you woke them up.
“I’m-I’m so sorry Mrs.Alessia, I didn’t mean too. Plea-Please, don’t send me away. I’ll be good, I’ll be quiet, I pinky promise” you sob as you wobble your lower lip.
Alessia sends you a sad, but comforting look before opening her arms to you. “It was just a nightmare, angel. We are not mad at you, not ever.”
This happens again and again. You have nightmares that won’t go away. You worry that they will get tired of it, tired of spending time comforting you, tired of being woken up by screaming. But she dosent get tired. She does this every night, hold her arms open. Secretly, she hopes for the day you will hug her back. To allow yourself to be a little girl. Because that’s what you are. Just a little girl that needs love.
Musli always follows them into the room when you cry. He always falls asleep next to you, and when you are sound asleep; he retrieves to get food and cuddles before he comes back for the night. He stands next to Alessia, and he purrs while bonking his head at her. You look at them. You remember what your mom always said about cats. If a cat trust someone and like them, then they are good people that you can trust. Cats are better at judging peoples charater.
You don’t know why, but one night you throw yourself to her. You hold on to her like she is the last flotie and you are in the middle of the ocean. Alessia silently hushes you while holding you tight and rocking you gently back and forth. Her hand resting on the back of your head while walkin gback and forth. It feels nice. Almost safe. Like one of the mommy hugs you would get when you hurt your toe outside. But you never dare to hug her back. Feelings come rushing down your throat, and you feel a sob sneaking out of your body. Then you cry, and cry and cry and cry until eventually pass out in exhaustion.
The following mornings follows the same rhythms. Night terrors in the middle of the night. Alessia and Leah takes turns in holding you and comforting you. You pass out from crying. Then, you wake up in your new bed with musli licking your face. Using his loud purrs, he tries his best to soothe you. He is always calm. It makes you wonder if this place might be safe.
You stumble out of your bedroom feeling frightened that your new foster moms might have left you alone for the day. It’s not unusual, plenty of families used to leave you alone. Claiming you were a big girl. But, your new guardians are always at the kitchen, always waiting for you with a warm breakfast. At first, you thought it was just for show. Like when your old fosters would dress you up all nice and give you a shower before your social worker would arrive. But by each day that goes, the care feels less than just for show. For a split second, you believe that perhaps someone might care about you.
You aren’t old, just four. Four fingers. All of your fingers except for your thumb. Just four. You already know you can’t trust anyone. People always turn on you, but that’s okay. It is because you always misbehave. But your last foster family would leave you alone for hours upon end if you misbehaved. Misbehaving would be things like not get yourself up in time, eat too much, make noise or complain. It scared you to the point of shaking, you never wanted to misbehave. There was always so many rules at every new house, and it was hard to know what rules belonged to what house. It was confusing. You wish you could write, that way you could note down the rules. But you can’t even spell your name. Because you are just four.
In your last family, you weren’t allowed to pet the dog. You weren’t even allowed to touch the dog. But here, at Leah and Alessia’s house; Musli gets to sleep in your bed. He even sleeps next to you after Leah and Alessia has said goodnight and you crawl to lay on the big carpet. It’s nice, you decide. It feels like somewhat of a routine. You think you like that. If things are predictable, then you won’t misbehave, and then they won’t kick you out.
But this morning; it’s different. When you wake up, you see Alessia. She is gently shaking you to wake you up, but you feel scared. You instantly shoot up thinking that you did something wrong. That you might have misbehaved in your sleep.
“I-I’m sorry, Mrs.Alessia. I’ll do better tomorrow, I pinky promise!” You beg as tears once again stream down your red cheeks. Your cheeks that are always painted with beautiful roses. The tears aren’t normally allowed at fosterhomes, so you wipe your eyes so hard that your vision becomes fuzzy. Because you cannot misbehave.
But Alessia isn’t angry. She smiles at you before tucking your hair behind your ear. She squats down, and seems like she is inviting you in for a hug. You haven’t had a proper hug for a long time, only the ones you get when you have nightmares. But, you barely remember them. The only hugs you’ve had from other than Alessia and Leah: was mommyhugs and daddyhugs. You decided that the hug from Alessia is a test, so you just look down into the ground hoping that you made the right choice. Because you are terrified to misbehave. To take up too much space. You worry about what your new moms are like when they are mad. A part of you thinks that they are gentle. Like if Leah and Alessia becomes upset with you, you think that they might let you have the bed. And if they take your bed away, you still have the soft carpet.
Alessia gives you a sad smile before sitting down on her knees. You give her your best smile while trying to silent your sobs. Alessia’s heart breaks into a million little pieces when she sees you, a four year old, trying to soothe herself. She can only hope for the day when you let them into your heart because she knows that you have already filled up theirs.
“We are going shopping for you today, love. We have the day off, and kindergarten is starting up soon”.
You look at them in confusion. First at Leah, then at Alessia. What things, you think. You feel worried, have you lost something? And why do you have to be sent away?
“But first, breakfast” Alessia encourages you, and you immediately go to find your special chair. This is a part of the routine that you know by heart. After breakfast, it’s the same routine too. You put your plate in the dishwasher, you go get whatever clothes you can find in your drawer and Leah helps you brush your teeth before Alessia does your hair. You decide that you like it. The routines. It makes you feel like you might be able to trust them. Like you can predict what will happen. When they pamper you, it feels like you are four years old and not some kind of mini adult.
-
When you get to the mall, it’s big. It’s much bigger than any place that you have ever been at. Alessia says that it’s called Westfield. You think it sounds fancy. Expensive. You feel scared once you realise that you do not have any money. You only have your little stuffie, Meow. He is the only thing you own and you hold him tight scared that he might be taken away from you.
Leah hops out of the car, and unbuckles you. The carseat they put you in feels soft and comfortable. Normally, your fosters never take you anywhere. You and Leah meet Alessia in-front of the car. It feels scary when you look around you. There are cars parked everywhere, and more people than you have ever seen before.
You look up at Alessia with a scared look on your face. She instantly squats down to your level.
“It can feel overwhelming to be here for the first time. That’s okay, Leah feels overwhelmed with going to the mall too.”
You look over at Leah who nods at you. It makes you smile shyly.
“Do you want to hold my hand?”
You look at Alessia before you nod. Holding hands. Normally, your foster family never lets you hold their hands. You decide to take advantage of the opportunity. Your mom would always hold your hand when going to the park. It’s a good memory. Perhaps you can go to the park with Leah one day.
You grab Alessia’s hand and look at Leah. You offer her to hold the paw of mr.meow that is safely in your left hand. She takes it, and it sneaks a slight giggle out of you. The giggle makes Alessia and Leah’s hearts flutter. It’s the first time they have heard you giggle.
-
You arrive at the store that your new foster moms have picked out for you to go to. At the front of the store, there are statues with clothes on them. You like the dresses that they are wearing. They are pink and with ruffles. It also looks like it’s a twirly dress, you used to love twirly dresses.
In the store, you don’t really know what to do. You never shop. People usually never get things for you. You just stand there with mr.meow in your hand looking around you. There are crying kids everywhere, it confuses you. Why are they allowed to leave the house if they cry? You decide that it’s because they got lucky with their parents than you.
“Here, what do you think about this dress?”
Alessia holds out a pink dress with hearts on it. It surprises you, but you look her way. You touch the fabric with your hands. It feels soft. You smile shyly and nod to Alessia. Leah immediately grabs it and puts it in the basket before you deny the gift.
“What about this skirt? Maybe with this top?”
Alessia holds out a skirt this time. It’s made out of the same material as your jeans, and it has sown in pink stars at the bottom. The top next to it is a sweater. It’s a white sweater with a little bow on the neckline. You nod.
This is how the whole shopping trips goes. They suggest something, and you nod. It’s not that you aren’t grateful, because you really are. You just don’t know how to tell them that you want something or not want something. Luckily, Alessia seems to know what little girls like to wear.
After walking through the clothes part of the store, you spot the toy department. It has a bunch of toys. Anything from teddies to trains to barbie dolls. Your eyes glides across the area, quickly scanning the toys.
Then you see it. You stop in your tracks. It’s a cupboard, a little taller than you in the shape of a house. It has doors and carvings, and windows. Inside the house is a series of mice from Maileg. Your eyes light up when you see them. It’s the same mice you got from your mom. She would collect them for you. You would call it your them your “little mouse”.
Alessia notices your sudden interest in the display, and takes a step towards it. Your feet follow along as you near the mice. You can see them. It’s all kinds of mice. Its a set with a mommy and daddy mouse in wedding outfit, it’s a kit with a wooden fridge filled with little realistic pieces of food, it’s a box shaped like a matchbox with three triplet baby mice in it. Then there is the princess mouse, she has atleast 10 mattresses. There is all kinds of accessories too. A kit with a bathing suit, swim giggles and beach towels. A circus kit with a circus ball and a clown. A mouse with a tent and binoculars. There are also clothes for the mice, and hangers for their clothes and beds and little furniture for the mice.
But at the corner of your eye, it’s a special box that catches your eye. It’s a teal box in the shape of a suitcase with gold dots and gold letters on it. Your right hand drop Alessia’s hand and left hand drops mr.meow who is still holding Leah’s hand. You eagerly open the box, and your hopes are confirmed. It’s a guardian angel mouse. Not just any kind, but the same kind your foster dad took away from you for not sharing it with your foster brothers. It’s the same kind your mom gave you to have in your backpack when you started nursery as a baby. You would also bring it to see your grandparents and when you went to the park. You open the box, and the same mouse that you had earlier is right in front of you. It has a pink dress, white wings and a little yellow halo. At the corner of your eyes, water is gathering. It makes you feel embarrassed, but also desperate. Desperate because you want it. You want it more than anything else in the whole world. Maybe not more than you want your mom and dad, but it’s a close call. You consider to put it in your pocket and take it. But that would be wrong. But you really want it.
Tumblr media
Alessia and Leah seems to have catch on because Leah squats down next to you. She dries the tear that has escaped your eye.
“Take it, little miss. I’ll get it for you”
You look over at Leah. You want to smile and be happy, but you feel unsure. Is this a test? The mice is expensive. You know this because mommy told you so. She said it was lots of pounds for a tiny mice, that this was something you had to use your birthday wish to get it. But knowing your mom, she got it for you. Just like she knew you would need it one day.
“Maybe, it can be a birthday gift? Or Christmas gift? Or I can try to pay you back?”
You suggest out of desperation, not wanting to accept it without a play to repay them.
“Don’t worry about it, baby. We will get it for you. Is there anything else you would like to go with it?”
You look at the display, but shake your head. You only want the guardian angel mouse. The stupidly expensive mice with the little pink dress. Secretly, you want another mouse to keep it company. Maybe a little bed for them to sleep in, but you don’t wanna seem ungrateful.
“Thank you, Leah” you say as you choke a sob. You feel an overwhelming feeling of gratefullness. Grateful to be with Leah and Alessia. Grateful to have a memory of your mom. Grateful to be allowed a toy.
-
When you get home that day, you go through all your old clothes with Alessia. Leah had to go to buy groceries, so she isn’t helping out. Alessia lay your clothes out on the floor. It’s weird, you think. Your mommy would do the same thing. Your clothes aren’t much to brag about. Some of them have stains and others are too small. Some of them have holes and others are worn out.
The pieces of clothing are carefully sorted into piles before placed in bags. Your old clothes that are in decent condition gets put back into the dresser. Then, Alessia carefully folds your new clothes and place them into the dresser filling it up completely.
“All set for your big adventure tomorrow!” Alessia cheers at you. You feel confused.
“Am I being sent away? I just need a black bag and I-”
“No, we are not sending you away. We will never just send you away. Tomorrow, we are going to see your new kindergarten. Then, you will stay there for a few hours until we pick you up.”
“Uhm, why? Am i bad?”
“Me and Alessia will go back to work. Mondays and Thursdays, you will get to go to kindergarten to play with other kids. It will just be a few hours, I promise.”
Alessia confirms while carefully closing your drawers. You can’t help but feel scared that they will forget to pick you up.
“..oh”
You feel sad with the explanation. A part of you wonders why you can’t come with them to work. It feels safe to be with them at all times. That way, you can make sure to always be a joy to be around. However, if you aren’t there. You can’t keep track of what the adults are talking about. If they are talking about getting rid of you.
-
The next morning comes around, and soon enough you were standing inside of the kindergarten. You had been to kindergartens before, but your old foster parents forgot you there. There were plenty of kids. Some were crawling while others were running. There was even a girl in a wheelchair. Everyone seemed so happy busy playing with all the toys you could even dream of.
However, you don’t play with any of the toys. You had been placed at the little table next to the crayons and sheets to draw. But, you dont draw. You are just observing everyone around you. Everything around you. The buzz of the room is loud, and every know and then someone cries.
A young woman comes walking over to you, and sits down across for you. She has a name tag, and she is a grown up. She grabs a sheet and a pink crayon before she starts drawing. You look at her while she draws. You notice how she sticks her tongue out in concentration. Her hands are busy drawing at top speed. After a while, she turns the drawing around towards you.
“It’s a dandelion”
You take a look at it. Dandelions are yellow, you think. But you don’t dare to correct her. You nod while looking at her, your hand pressing the little mouse in your pocket.
“It’s pretty” you whisper back.
She smiles at you, but you don’t smile back.
“Do you want to help me color it in?” She suggests. Your eyes widen at the idea. Your mom would draw pictures for you to color in. You immediately nod, and she giggles before signing for you to come over to her side.
“Do you wanna sit on the chair?” She asks. You shake your head rapidly.
“Okay, do you want to sit on my lap?” You nod. That is what feels the safest. Not because you trust her, but because then she can’t leave you if you color outside of the lines.
You get handed a yellow crayon, and you carefully color inside the lines. Then, you grab the brown crayon, and color the middle. Eventually, you finish your Colouring. The woman lifts it up and smiles.
“You are an artist!” She cheers at you while rubbing your shoulders. You look down and blush.
After colouring, the group moves on to lunch. It smells like tomato sauce, it’s your favourite meal. You love tomato sauce, pasta and minced beef together. It was one of your childhood favourites, just like you mommy would make whenever you had a bad day.
A plate gets placed on the mat infront of you, and you get handed a fork. It’s like the one at home, the kids sized forks. It’s nice, it feels safe. But then you feel a wave of feelings hitting you. You tear up as your lower lip wobble, and you drop your fork in the heat of the moment. All the kids turn to look at you, and you feel terrified.
Your hand goes into your pocket, to hold your guardian angel mouse. It might give you some well needed soothing. But before you are able to hold it for long, a boy points to your mouse and screams something along the lines of “no toys at the table”.
The anxiety kicks in, and suddenly you launch yourself off your chair before sprinting into the warderobe hiding behind your jacket. You sit there and sob while an older woman tries to console you; but it dosent work. She tries to be gentle, but ends up feeling frustrated. When she asks you to place the mouse in your backpack, you cry harder and push your face towards the wall while the tears are streaming down.
Then, the young woman that helped you color takes over for the old woman. She sits down next to you; she dosent touch you, she dosent yell and she is whispering words of encouragement to you. After a while, you feel exhausted from crying and you start to fall asleep in your hiding spot. The woman gently touches your shoulder before scooping you up in her arms. You look at her, half awake with a puzzled look.
“Just sleep princess, I’ll call your parents”
-
Leah is out in physio when it happens. Her phone buzzes, and she stops the treatment on her knee to answer the call. She feels a lump in her throat when she hears the voice of the woman from the kindergarten, and she feels directly alarmed when she hears your sobs lingering in the background.
“I’ll be there in five, thank you for calling” she finishes before sprinting out of the session, not giving a care about the no running restrictions that she is on. Her feet takes her to the field where she immediately spots Alessia.
“Lessi, we have to leave! It’s y/n” she yells grabbing the attention of the whole group. Alessia’s eyes widen. Leah is never stressed. She only remember her being stressed when their cat disappeared for 24 hours. She knows that this is an emergency and she quickly releases herself from the resistance band that she has got herself hooked onto. The pair of the sprint to the car before speeding to the kindergarten, both women still in their kits.
By the time they pull up to the kindergarden, you are hysterically crying again. The pair of them practically abandon their car in the middle of the parking lot, they can already hear your cries through an open window. And the cries are heartbreaking. The girls share a terrfied look wondering what could possibly have gone wrong. Leah starts running towards the entrance getting a hand on the doorknob before Alessia catches up and holds her back by the shoulder.
"Lee, we have to be calm. She dosent need to see us worried or scared. I know you want to get to her, but we need to be calm." Alessia stressed at Leah. Leah crossing her arms over her chest before realising that Alessia was right. She takes a deep breath, trying her best to seem calm and collected.
"Let’s go get our girl" Leah says as she opens up the door to the kindergarden eyes immediately scanning the room to find you.
-
You are still sat behind your jacket, still crying. Nobody really knows what set you off, and you are not sure either. Perhaps its the overwhelming feeling of being one of 20 kids or perhaps its the lunch reminding you of your parents. The boy that called you out for having your mouse in your pocket, definitly played a part in it.
You arent sure why you feel like this, but when you see your fostermoms: you feel desperate . As Alessia is walking next to the teacher, Leah is practically jogging towards you. You only see her throught your tearsoaked eyes and reach your hands towards her begging for a sense of comfort. Leah's hands reach for you and scoop you up almost on autopilot.
Leah holds you tight as you sob leaning your head into her chest while your tiny hands are cluthing her shirt. She softly hushes you while bouncing you slowly back and forward in her arms. She whispers soothing words into the top of your head. The warmth of leah and the loud beating of her heart makes you feel sleepy. You yawn mid sob before falling asleep in Leah's arms.
"Leah, i can carry her. You need to be careful with your leg. Here, take her jacket instead." Alessia insists reaching her hands towards you. Leah instantly turns you away from Alessia feeling like you are too fragile to be removed. Leah dosent care that her leg hurts, she just cares that you are feeling safe.
"I'll carry her, shes my kid" Leah mumbles holding a hand on your head pressing it into her shirt while walking towards the exit. The only thing she can think of is how she wants to protect you. How she needs to make sure that you are safe. Alessia gives an apologetic look to the teacher before catching up with Leah. Alessia lays her hand on Leah's back.
“Leah, she isn’t ours. Not yet at least, and for all we know they might have a family for her” Alessia remind her sending shivers down Leah’s back.
"I dont care about laws and your opinion, im never letting her go back into another fosterhome. Or another home. Or to this stupid kindergarten. She’s coming with me to work. Im not asking, Alessia. Im telling you. She has been through enough in four years. She deserves the world, and I’ll give it to her. I’ll call the social worker first thing tomorrow.”
Leah holds you tight, sheltering your face from the wind. Alessia feels pride when hearing Leah speak about you, because Alessia wants to add you to their family too.
"Its okay Lee, we will find a way"

Dad!Atsumu!
This one is for my beloved @nekomasangel
CW: dad!atsumu, technically NSFW but not descriptive, reader gets pregnant, uncle!osamu, fluff
a/n: I’m having far too much fun with these dad drabbles, I might just have to keep them coming.
Find: dad!Osamu here!
Tumblr media
Thinking about dad Atsumu whose first born likes his uncle Osamu so much better than him the first few years of his life.
It’s always been his dream to be a dad, but when he finally has a son of his own, the little brat always chose Osamu over him. No matter what the situation.
Your husband thought it would be hilarious to do that TikTok trend with the baby and his family members. Having each one of you sit in a line to see who the baby would crawl or walk to first. And it was always Osamu. Even when he had sat out after being picked first, Atsumu’s two year old would sit in the middle of the floor and look for his uncle.
It wasn’t until you convinced your husband that it would be so easy for uncle Osamu to watch the little one so the two of you could have a date night. And that date night, easily turned into a weekend away. Picking a nice hotel or fancy air bnb, taking you out to dinner and promising to grow your family in hopes Atsumu would have a kid that liked him more than his twin brother.
It didn’t take much convincing either. Not when Atsumu bent you over the couch the moment you got into your little weekend home. Devouring you from the back before shoving his own pants down in a hurry. “Please— please, give me another—“ he’d beg into your ear while his hips kept up that relentless pace.
His breath was hot on your neck while your moans echoed off the walls and the couch started to leave scuff marks on the hardwood floor. He kept taking you over and over again until he was sure it would take.
Nine months later you indeed did bless him with a baby girl. And that little one was his entire world! A daddy’s girl from the very beginning, searching for him the moment she opened her eyes, soothing herself at the sound of his voice.
Even as she grew older, your son saw the connection they had and learned to love his dad even more. So in the middle of the night, when they’d both storm into your shared bedroom, crying from bad dreams and needing their dad for comfort… he couldn’t even be mad because he asked for this. And you made sure to remind him of that when he woke up groggy the next morning because he couldn’t let his babies sleep feeling as if they weren’t protected.
He stayed up all night rubbing their backs and shushing them when the nightmares started to disrupt their sleep once more.
Turns out he just needed to give his boy time, because looking back, he gave his parents just as hard of a time when he was a kid. He supposes it was just a taste of his own medicine.

Momma's boy
Tumblr media
------------------------------------------
Summary: Jason being a mommy's boy. He needs his mom when things get rough and he can't see things clear.
Jason x Batmom!Reader. In this universe Y/N birthed Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian, Bruce is the father. Duke, Steph and Cass are adopted.
Note: Was craving soft Jason with Batmom!Reader. Jason deserves more love. Words: 874
Picture/art from Pinterest, credits to the artist.
------------------------------------------
Jason was a mommy's boy, from the moment he was born. He wouldn’t let go of his momma, not even for a moment in the first few months. He was the total opposite of Dick who was a daddy's boy, yes Dick loves his momma, but he was more drawn to Bruce. Y/N didn’t mind this in the least. She loved it even more now that she had a baby who wanted her more than Bruce. Not that she didn't love Dick, she just wanted a mommy's boy after having a daddy’s boy.
So Jason was against Y/N's chest in either a sling or a papoose most of the time for the first two years. Being near his momma was the only way to get him to calm down, to fall asleep and to feel safe. Even feeding was difficult if Bruce did it, Jason wanted his mom to feed him.
The first six months were spent in his parents bed, in-between his momma and dad. Even if Dick crawled into bed with them because of a nightmare, or just because he wanted to, Jason would stake his claim over Y/n.
As Jason got older his need for his mom got less, it never really left he stayed a Momma’s boy through and through. He watched Tim be a little in-between boy, loving Y/N and Bruce the same. Damian be a secret Momma’s boy. Duke having a better bond with Bruce and Steph and Cass being mommy girls, but never as much as he was.
<------------------------------------------------------->
It was one of those days that Jason wished he had stayed in bed. School sucked, work sucked, patrol sucked. Even his siblings were more annoying than usual. Everything was just too much, every noise and light. Every interaction. He needed comfort, but he was eighteen, and eighteen year olds didn't need comfort (they do!). He could do this on his own, at least that is what he thought while everyone could see that he needed the love and comfort to feel safe.
So there he lay, in his bed, overwhelmed and tired at three a.m, but sleep just wouldn't take over. His mind raced with all types of thoughts that didn’t want him to settle down. As time went on Jason's mind got messier and messier. Thoughts racing even more and anxiety rising sky high. Finally some protective instinct inside of him kicked in and Jason got out of bed. He needed his mom.
So silently he walked to the master bedroom, Jason hadn't walked that way in the middle of the night in years. He felt small again, tears pricking at the edges of his eyes. He carefully opened the room, hoping he didn’t walk in on the devil's tango, because yes that is what his head thought his parents could be doing at three in the morning. He was lucky, Bruce snoring as he lay on his stomach like a starfish and Y/N on her side curled up like a cat.
Jason approached the bed and slowly woke Y/N up by shaking her arm a bit. “Mom?... Mom, please wake up… Mom, I need you.” He whispered, sounding a little desperate for her to wake up. Y/N quickly woke up, still used to waking up at least once a night for one of her kids. “Yes?” She opened her eyes, meeting a very sad looking Jason. Y/N quickly sat up and opened her arms for her son.
“What is wrong, Jay bird?” Y/N whispered as Jason crawled underneath the comforter and leaned into his mom’s hug. Laying his head down on Y/N's chest. “Another nightmare?” Jason shook his head at the question. “No… hard day, needed my mom…”
Y/N's heart melted a little, quickly kissing Jason's head to give him the comfort he needed, but had a hard time asking for. “It's okay, baby, momma is here for you. You can stay in the big bed with us tonight and don't you dare say that you're too old for that, because you're not. You're one of my birds and my birds get to come back to the nest any day or night.” She said while laying back down. Fixing the comforter a bit so they both were warm and Bruce had still enough to stay warm.
“Tomorrow you're gonna take a mental health day and we'll do something fun, just you and me.” Y/N announced to which Jason could only nod. Happy his momma was going to take care of him until he could do it himself again. He nestled himself tightly against Y/N and closed his eyes. Every worry, doubt and fear he had was just melting away from him as his momma held him. He was slowly falling asleep, but needed to tell Y/N something important before he fell asleep completely.
“Momma?” Jason asked as he lifted his head a little, laying his chin on Y/N’s chest to look at her. “Yes, Jay bird?” Y/N answered, already knowing where this was going. “I love you.” Jason said with a tired smile. “I love you too, Jay bird, now get some rest. I'll keep watch.” And with that answer Jason lay his head back down and fell asleep, safe and sound in his mom's arms.

Warning: yandere stuff, stalking, gender-neutral reader. English is my second language.
Tumblr media
You woke up to the annoying sound of your phone alarm. Another day, time to go to work again. As an ordinary Gotham resident, you had a mostly monotonous life, at least until the last few months. As you got ready and stepped out the door, a cheerful voice called out to you.
“Good morning Y/n.”
Your opposite neighbor Richard Grayson, had his usual bright face on, and you didn’t want to deal with him in the morning.
“Good morning.” You replied.
“Are you going to work? Do you want me to drop you off?”
Oh no, definitely not. However, before you could refuse, your next door neighbor suddenly opened the door in a hurry.
“I’m late! I told you to wake me up earlier! Oh good morning Y/n.”
Your next door neighbor blushed slightly as he noticed you. Dark circles under his eyes, a coffee in his hand, untied shoes…Yup your next door neighbor Tim Drake was on his form again. While Dick laughed at the situation, you simply said good morning.
“Thank you for the offer but it’s really not necessary.”
You tried to decline Dick’s offer but this guy knew how to convince you.
“Come on, are you going to walk to the bus station at this hour? It’ll be faster and more comfortable.”
-
Okay, Dick had convinced you again with his excellent persuasion skills. You took a deep breath as you got in the car. That pressure was on you again. The feeling of being watched down to your bones… The feeling of being watched had been on you for the last few months. At your home, at your workplace, on the street… A paranoia that you couldn’t understand why you felt had taken over you. Especially your new neighbors who had moved in all of a sudden didn’t make you feel comfortable. You mean, it’s wrong to think like that about your friendly, helpful, smiling, nice neighbors for no reason, but you swear that whenever you looked into their eyes for more than a few seconds, you felt that weird feeling. Trapped? Suffocated? You couldn’t name it.
“You don’t seem to be able to sleep, is there a problem?”
Dick asked worriedly.
“Hmm? I guess so.” You answered.
“Is there a problem?” Tim turned around to make eye contact with you in the backseat.
“Nightmare.” You answered. Dick laughed at your answer.
“If there really is a problem Y/n, tell me. Other than that, be careful about your sleep or you’ll end up like Tim.”
You told the truth but didn’t answer back and Dick’s joke had lightened the mood a bit.
-
“Dear passenger Y/n, we’ve arrived at your drop-off point. We Grayson transportation would like to thank you for choosing us.”
“Thanks for the ride.” You got out of the vehicle.
“Of course it was an honor for us. We wish you a good shift.” He blew you a kiss through his open window, and Tim started scolding him from behind.
You nodded and headed towards your workplace. The strange journey was finally over. Oh, by the way, he was going to stop by on patrol tonight, right? You could have asked him about this ‘nightmare’ thing.
-
“You got a lot. Are you going to make a cake or something?” Jason Todd, your neighbor next door to Dick , asked while carrying the bags. To be honest, he was the least annoying of the neighbors. He was very polite despite his tough looks . But sometimes he could be annoying.
“Uh huh. I’m going to make cookies.”
You answered. Literally five minutes ago you nearly screamed when he suddenly appeared behind you and tapped you on the shoulder.
“Well, will you send me some too, right ?” He asked with that mischievous grin of his.
“I’m having you carry them so your muscles can be useful. Think this as a workout . But if I do extra, I’ll send them.”
Jason laughed.
“You’re the best.”
-
“I’m sorry, I didn’t wanted to stop you in the middle of your patrol, but I’ve had the feeling that I was being watched for the last few months. And last week, when that thing was watching me at night…”
“No problem, but are you sure?” Robin asked while eating one of the cookies you made.
“I’m not sure since it was night. I thought I saw its silhouette in the dark but I couldn’t open my eyes completely because I was scared. But its face was so close. I swear I could feel its breath. If you have free time, it would be nice if you could take a look.”
“We’ll take care of it. Don’t worry.” Batman replied reassuringly.
-
“We dropped them off at work. But they looked tired.”
“I helped them carry the bags. They were going to make cookies.”
The day’s report was being given in the bat cave after the patrol. Batman and Robin had finally returned.
“One of us got caught.” Bruce got right to the point without beating around the bush as he got out from the Batmobile.
“I think it’s either Todd or Drake who got caught.” Damian got out of the Batmobile with a plate of cookies in his hand.
“Wait, are those the cookies that Y/n made?” Tim pointed at the cookies.
“Yes. And I emphasize, they’re all mine because they were made for me.” Just as a fight was about to break out over the cookies, Bruce intervened.
“There is a more important matter. Y/n noticed one of us watching them at night. We need to change plans.”
“Perhaps it is time for them to move into the manor , Master Bruce.”

𝐃𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐊 - 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐉𝐈 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐎
hurt/comfort. fem!reader.
It’s been a few months after you and Kenji broke up, he said it’s because he was seeing another girl and that he lost interest in you. That broke your heart, knowing how much the old Kenji you knew would never do such thing.
He would never, yet he did.
“Why are you leaving so suddenly!? Can’t we try to talk whatever the problem is?” you raised your voice, your tears threatening to fall down.
Kenji didn’t look back at you, all you can see is his back carrying his backpack filled with he clothes keeps in your apartment, “I’m seeing someone else, I’m moving back to my house at the island.”
He left.
That night you cried in your bed, cried yourself to sleep, alone in your apartment, you sobbed your eyes out, wishing all this was a dream, a nightmare.
In those few months, you worked on yourself to move on and forget about the relationship and how it broke down. It’s still really hard to forget about it, what happened that night was very sudden.
When Kenji spilled those hurtful words, it hit you like a truck, that time your legs were very weak, it threatened to make you fall at that moment.
Whatever, you have to focus on your job, your life, especially in moving on.
Tumblr media
“Kenji! Bro, where are you going?” one of his friends ask, seeing Kenji walking in a wobbly line away from the club. “Y-Y/n, I wanna see Y/n,” he mumbled, one of his friends catched up to him, “you and her broke a few months ago,” his friend said, suprised on what Kenji was headed to.
“don’t care, need to see Y/n.” he repeated again.
“okay, okay, get in and I’ll take you to her,” his friend said, pulling Kenji towards his car and laying him in the backseat.
You were staying up late, reading a book that you always wanted to finish, but then a knock came. You ignored it at first, but it came again, you placed your bookmark between the two pages and went to check the door.
You looked through the peek hole of the door, and it was, ‘Kenji’s friend? who’s beside him? Kenji?’ you sighed and opened the door, “why are you here, it’s late.” you asked, not wanting to deal with your ex in the middle of the night.
“Please just take him, he wants to talk to you,” his friend said, trying to pass Kenji to you, you reconsider and reconsider, but in the end you took Kenji’s arms and closed the door on his friend.
You led Kenji to the couch, and laid him down, going to the kitchen to get warm water, but you then heard him mumble your name. You ignored it, hes probably dreaming, “Y/n? That you, baby?” he raised his head to your direction, you hummed in response, he then continued.
“I miss you, Y/n, so much. Couldn’t stop thinkin’ about you these last few months, heck, I had to get drunk just so I can forget you, but even that… I,” he paused, out of breath, hes clearly still worn out, “I still couldn’t get you off my mind, even the… the city has been questioning where ultraman has been-“ you cut him off by stirring the glass loudly, even though it’s just water.
“Stop your babbling and drink, so you can go back to your girlfriend, pretty sure she would be pissed knowing you’re here.” you said, clearly annoyed by his presence and him even opening his mouth.
He eventually drinks it a bit, before pushing it away and realised what you said, “oh that girl? Who is she?” Kenji asked, confused, “don’t worry you’ll remember her once you’re sober,” you said before leaving to go to your room.
“Y/n,” Kenji called, you turned to face him, “can you change my clothes? please, baby?” he pleaded.
Tumblr media
“No, your clothes aren’t here anymore remember? and stop calling me that,” you said before continuing to go to your bedroom.
Once you laid in your bed, you couldn’t help but think and remembered, how Kenji sleeping in uncomfortable clothes can pain his back when he wakes up, but your no one to undress him. Even so, you continued opening your closet and searched for clothes that he left.
Kenji woke up with a hectic headache, he expected to wake up in your apartment, especially remembering what he said last night. “Surprised you haven’t left yet,” he heard your voice coming from the kitchen, it seems like you were making tea.
“Y/n, let’s talk,” Kenji said, with pleading eyes, “please,” you turned your head slightly and chuckled, “still drunk? Thought sleeping it through can make you sober,” you said, taking your mug and sat down beside Kenji on the couch, taking a sip and placing it down at the coffee table, “whatever, just make it quick please,” you said.
“Well, that night, that girl, it was all a lie,” Kenji confessed, you showed a confused look, ‘he wasn’t lying last night?’ you thought, he continued, “I did that break up because, I was scared,” he paused, but you quickly interfered, “what do you mean scared?” you asked, sharp tone, highly confused on what hes leading to.
“I was scared, I realised that recently that time I was focusing too much on the baseball tournaments and interviews, especially with me being ultraman, I don’t want to put you at risk, risk of dying when I can’t be there to save you,” he paused again, his eyes beginning to tear up, you kept quiet, suprised by his real reason.
“I knew that if I didn’t use the reason of seeing someone else, you would make up a reason for us to talk and solve it,” he said, he knew you, he could predict you, and you were suprised of how much he knew.
“I knew that if I looked at you before leaving that night, if I take one look into your teary eyes, I would stay and I would fail to protect you from future dangers that can come,” he said, before he completely broke down, right in front of you.
Slowly, you neared him, ran your fingers through his raven hair. When he raised his head to take a peek, you opened your arms for him to hug, which he then took. He cried on your shoulder, as you stayed quiet and gave him a silent forgiveness, caressing his back, arms, his hair.
“I’m safe, Kenji.”

Back To You - Part 14 | Sam Carpenter
Tumblr media
Pairing: Sam Carpenter x reader
Warnings: mentions of violence, death, blood, injuries, and swearing
Summary: When Sam left after turning eighteen, you were devastated. You’d been in love with her since you were kids and her leaving meant you never got to tell her how you truly felt.
Fast forward a couple of years, Tara gets attacked and Sam returns. . .
Previous Part | Next Part | Masterlist
_______________________________________________
For the first time in almost 48 hours it’s quiet and I’m warm and comfortable.
After having a late dinner, Gale and Brooks showed all of us to separate guest rooms. Tara and Chad are sharing a room, much to Sam’s dismay, but she didn’t object other than raising an eyebrow.
Danny has his own room and Sam and I are sharing a room. It’s honestly astonishing how many bedrooms this penthouse has, but then again this is Gale we’re talking about and if she doesn’t have the money to afford a place like this, no one does.
At first I was skeptical about sharing a bed with Sam, but as soon as we were alone we fell back into old habits. We slipped under the covers and before I could even start to overthink anything, Sam wordlessly grabbed my arm and slung it around her middle, pulling me close until my front was flush with her back.
I fell asleep pretty quickly after that, but now for some reason I’m awake again. I can’t check my phone for the time because it’s on the nightstand and I don’t want to wake Sam by moving, but it’s still dark outside, so I close my eyes and try to fall asleep again.
I’m beyond exhausted, but a moment later Sam jerks in her sleep and I open my eyes again.
That’s what woke me in the first place. She’s not sleeping properly.
I frown, but think nothing of it until she jerks yet again, more violently this time. She mumbles some unintelligible pleas, and I move closer, tightening my arms around her.
She’s having a nightmare.
Tara used to have them, too, but hers were more like night terrors.
“Hey. . .” I brush my nose against the back of her neck.
“No, Y/N.” She whimpers and twitches in her sleep and I sigh sadly.
I sit up and press a kiss to her temple. “Sam, wake up.”
“No,” she cries, louder this time, and I can’t stand seeing the way her face twists in agony.
I unwrap my arm from around her and shake her. “Sam!”
That does the trick. Sam’s eyes fly open and she sits up with a start, almost head butting me in the process.
“I can’t— I wasn’t—“
“Shhh. You’re okay. Tara’s okay. I’m okay.” I pull her into my arms, and rub my hands up and down her back when she sinks into me.
She shakes with muffled sobs and I whisper reassurances into her ear until she stammers, “I-It felt so real.”
I press another kiss to her temple and guide us back so we’re once again lying down. “I know, but it wasn’t.”
A strangled whimper claws its way past her lips and I raise one of my hands to run my fingers through her hair.
She constantly puts up a strong front, trying to protect everyone around her even though she’s really the one who needs to be protected and comforted.
I’m glad she’s not afraid to be vulnerable when it’s just the two of us.
After a couple more minutes of calming Sam down, she shifts so she’s lying with her head on my chest. “You know, there weren’t any knives in the knife block. . .”
My hand stills on her back and I frown. “What?”
Sam looks up and drapes an arm over my stomach. “When Ghostface attacked earlier, I went to the kitchen to grab a knife, but they were all gone.“
“What the fuck. . .” I clench my jaw, and replay the attack in my mind.
Ghostface knew the layout of the apartment, that much is clear. However that doesn’t explain the missing knives.
The only explanation I can come up with is that whoever is behind the mask removed them in forethought since the last time we thought Ghostface would attack, Sam immediately went and grabbed one from the kitchen.
The only way Ghostface could have known Sam would be going for a knife again though is if he or she was there the first time it happened, and the only one who was there that first time, but not tonight is. . .
“Oh my God, it’s Ethan,” I whisper, horrified by my realization. “He’s Ghostface. Or at least one of them.”
“What?” Sam frowns and rests her chin on my chest to look at me. “Why would you think it’s him? Chad said he was studying at the library all night. And what do you mean one of them? You think there’s more than one Ghostface?”
I quickly explain how I came to the conclusion and when I’m done Sam stares at me with her jaw dropped.
“Oh my God. . . You’re right,” she says quietly. “But we can’t be a hundred percent sure, so we have to keep our guard up. And we should keep it to ourselves for the time being, we don’t know who his accomplice is.”
I agree before a stunned silence settles over us.
Son of a bitch. . . How did I not realize it sooner. Ethan’s whole innocent-nerd act is the perfect cover. But why would he want to kill us? Does he want to make another Stab movie like Richie and Amber? And who could possibly be his accomplice?
I’m just glad I got to body slam that twig. Piece of shit.
Sam’s nightmare is all but forgotten now, but after what we just discovered we’re both far from falling back asleep.
“So, how do you feel about Tara and Chad being kind of a thing now?” I ask, changing the subject which makes Sam’s nose scrunch up.
“It’s a little weird and out of the blue, but I honestly can’t say I’m against it,” she admits with a huff. “Chad’s a good guy and if Tara likes him as much as he seems to like her, who am I to tell her they can’t go out. God knows she already hates me for looking out for her.”
I raise an eyebrow at that and touch her cheek to get her to look at me again when she averts her eyes. “She doesn’t hate you. She just feels like you don’t trust her enough to make her own decisions.”
Sam pouts. “But I do trust her.”
I sigh and brush my lips against her forehead in a fleeting kiss. “Then show her that. You can’t protect her from everything. I know it’s hard, especially right now because Ghostface is back, but you have to let her live sooner or later.“
She lets out a deep breath and lifts her head to kiss me softly. “I know.”
I hug her tighter and run my fingers through her hair again when she settles back on my chest. “Let’s try to get some more sleep while we can. We’ll deal with Ethan and everything else tomorrow.”
Sam hums in agreement, snuggling up to me and I close my eyes, burying my nose in her hair and taking a deep breath.
The smell of her coconut shampoo, mixed with the smell that is uniquely hers makes me relax and before I know it, I’m once again fast asleep.
I don’t like this. I don’t like this at all.
We’re all currently standing in the middle of an old abandoned movie theater that is filled with glass cases displaying various pieces of evidence from past Ghostface murders. Knives, clothes, sketches of the victims and killers. . .
It makes my blood run cold, especially the mannequins on the theater’s stage, dressed in Ghstface cloaks, but my worry for Sam outweighs the sense of dread this place evokes in the pit of my stomach.
She’s been deathly still ever since Gale brought us here and her grip on my hand is almost painful.
“How the hell did you find this place?” Kirby asks as we make our way through the. . . exhibition?
Mindy, who met us outside the theater a couple of minutes earlier freezes in front of a mannequin wearing her and Chad’s late uncle’s shirt.
“I’m an investigative journalist,” Gale deadpans. “How didn’t you find it?” she asks Kirby.
It turns out this place belonged to the two guys in Tara’s film class who were killed by Ghostface. Apparently they were loaded and used fake names to rent this place, but were killed before they could finish their collection of fucked-up memorabilia.
A fact, that is disturbing enough in and of itself, but it puzzles me why we’re only finding out about it now. I mean, Gale is right, how could Kirby not find this place when going through their financial records?
Something about this feels fishy, but I can’t put my finger on it, so I keep my mouth shut, just like how I kept my mouth shut when Ethan showed up a couple of minutes after Mindy.
Chad texted him about this place to keep him in the loop, which prompted him to come here too.
I know Sam said we can’t be a hundred percent certain he’s one of the Ghostfaces, but I’ve caught him staring at me more than once since getting here now, and every time I get too close to him, he moves back and puts distance between us. It’s almost like he’s afraid of me.
Good. He should be afraid. The next time I come across him in that Ghostface mask of his, I won’t hesitate to kill him.
You fuck with the people I love, you pay the price.
Sam letting go of my hand snaps me out of my thoughts. She walks through the rows of display cases with furrowed eyebrows while I stay back, watching her process everything.
That is until Tara tugs on my sleeve.
“Okay, spill,” she says quietly, making sure no one is watching us as they explore the theater.
“Huh?”
“You and Sam!” she hisses. “How? When? I mean— You guys are alone for like two seconds and now you’re—what? Together? Or—?”
I laugh softly. This is so not the time to talk about this, but Tara just can’t keep her curiosity in check. “We’re not officially, or anything, but we talked and we kissed, and—“
“You kissed?!” she shrieks in excitement before quickly slapping her hand over her mouth.
Luckily no one seems to have heard her and I can’t help but smile bashfully and nod. “Yeah, we kissed and she told me she loved me.”
Tara beams and bounces on her toes. “Oh my God, yes! Finally! I told you she felt the same way!”
I wave her off, scratching my neck nervously. “Yeah, yeah. Don’t remind me. . . So, you and Chad, huh?”
This time, it’s Tara’s turn to blush and I can’t help but revel in it when she nods shyly.
“I’m happy for you, Sprout.” I pull her into a quick hug and ruffle her hair. “You two make a hot couple.”
She snorts and shoves me playfully. “Oh, shut up. You’re one to talk.”
We share another smile before Chad calls Tara over to show her something.
I watch her go, feeling myself smiling like an idiot until my eyes land on Sam.
She’s up on the stage and staring at a Ghostface cloak in a display case with a far off look in her eyes. I’ve never seen her look like this before, and it makes me worry because she’s tense and seemingly upset, so I climb onto the stage and approach her slowly, making sure I don’t scare her when I place a hand on her waist.
“Hey, you okay?” I ask quietly, pressing a kiss to her shoulder.
She inhales sharply and leans back against me with closed eyes. “No.”
“What is it?” I wrap my arms around her and squeeze her hands when she intertwines our fingers.
“It’s Billy,” she admits quietly, brokenly, as realization dawns on me.
She’s seeing him in the reflection of the glass case. . . That’s what that look on her face was.
“What’s he saying?” I ask without judgement, holding her closer.
“The same shit as always,” she whispers. “You’re a born killer, Sam. Let’s slice up some motherfuckers, Sam. What are you waiting for, Sam?”
I hum in acknowledgement and press another kiss to her shoulder, mumbling, “I’m sorry.”
She shakes her head and squeezes my hands. “Don’t be sorry. It’s not your fault. I actually see him less when you’re around.”
Well, I wasn’t expecting that, and I can’t stop myself from blurting out a surprised, “Really?”
Sam chuckles sadly and tilts her head up to brush her lips against the underside of my jaw. “Yeah. I don’t know why, but you ground me like no one else and when I’m with you I feel safe. I feel loved.”
My heart swoops and I drop my chin to peck her lips. That’s all I ever wanted—to make her feel safe and loved. She deserves the world and so much more, and I’m just glad she’s letting me be there for her.
“I love you,” I whisper against her lips. “We’re going to get through this, and I promise you, once all this is over, I’m taking you on a date. A real date with flowers, dinner, wine, and a bunch of kisses.“
“That sounds amazing. I look forward to it, and I love you, too,” she mumbles before turning more serious and adding, “But first, we’re going to end this. Once and for all.”
She turns in my arms and I raise my eyebrows. “And how do you plan on doing that?”
She raises her hands and places them on my chest, a determined glint in her eyes. “I’ve got a couple ideas, but we need to talk to Kirby and Bailey first.”
“Will you please stop? You’re shaking the entire car,” Kirby says with a pointed look.
I’m bouncing my leg because I’m nervous about what’s about to go down, but stop when I realize she’s right.
We’re in the back of a surveillance van with Mindy, Chad, and Ethan while Sam and Tara are walking around in the park outside.
Bailey is also outside, keeping an eye on them, but his presence does nothing to stop me from worrying about the two of them.
They’re trying to goad Ghostface into calling them so Kirby can trace the car and find out where he is, but so far, he hasn’t called.
To be fair, it’s only been ten minutes since we got here, but still. I don’t like this. I don’t like this at all.
What if he sneaks up on them in broad daylight and slits their throats? What if he lures them somewhere else?
There are too many things that could go wrong for me to be comfortable with this plan, but Kirby and Bailey are sure this is going to work, so I’m not going to interfere.
Mindy seems skeptical too, and she doesn’t hesitate to voice her concerns while Ethan, seemingly unbothered by this whole situation, eats Cheetos, occasionally offering some to Chad.
He doesn’t offer me any, but there’s no surprise there because every time he looks my way I glare at him, daring him to do anything.
Sam and I talked some more earlier and we both decided that it would be best to tell Kirby about our suspicions, but there hasn’t been a chance to do it yet without Ethan potentially overhearing us.
“Hey, Sam? Stay frosty out there, okay?” Kirby says into the comms device.
“We’re good.” Sam replies, her voice sounding strained and clipped over the speaker that lets the rest of us in the van hear what she’s saying.
I want to be out there with her and Tara, but Kirby argued that I could scare Ghostface off by being with them since I’ve kicked his ass twice now.
My phone buzzes in my pocket and I reluctantly pull it out, focusing on whoever’s calling me instead of Sam and Tara.
I frown when I see it’s Paige, and send the call to voicemail before stuffing my phone back into my pocket.
I don’t have time to chat now and I definitely don’t want to be lectured about how I haven’t replied to her latest message yet.
She asked me how things were going with Liam last night and even sent me a picture of her girlfriend’s new dog, but I promised myself I wouldn’t contact her until this whole Ghostface situation is behind us.
That way she doesn’t get involved and I have one less person to worry about.
Yes, she might be pissed now that I’m ignoring her, but she’ll thank me later when she’s still alive because of it.
Sam’s phone rings over the speaker and my heart skips a beat when she answers it.
This is it.
“You’re gonna die you know,” she says, venom lacing her voice.
That’s my girl. Oh my god. . . that’s my girl!
Focus, Y/N!
“No, you’re gonna die, Samantha, chocking on your own blood while I hack up your sister and Y/N. Although it’s a shame because your precious Y/N really is a snack. . .”
Ew, what the fuck?
Mindy and I share a disturbed look and Kirby tries her best to trace the call while Sam keeps talking to Ghostface.
“You know, for a mastermind you’re not very bright,” Ghostface mocks. “Waiting for me to call, desperately hoping I’m nearby so the police can grab me?”
Shit. He knows we’re onto him, which also means, he’s not dumb enough to be anywhere nearby. But where else could he be?
Ghostface hangs up a moment later just as my phone buzzes again.
It’s Paige. Again.
I frown, irritated, and decline her call before shooting her a quick text.
You (5:47 PM)
Can I call you back?
I don’t wait for a reply and tuck my phone back into my pocket, holding my breath when Sam asks Kirby if she managed to trace the call.
“I got it! The geolocation is coming through right now,” Kirby says and Mindy, Chad, Ethan and I all lean in closer to look at the blinking dot on the map of Kirby’s computer.
“He’s on the upper west side,” Kirby says with a puzzled look. “He’s in an apartment building halfway across the city.”
“On West 96th?” Tara asks which makes my eyes widen.
“How did you know that?” Kirby asks, and before Tara can answer I’m out of my seat and reaching for the van’s door handle.
“Gale.” I breathe, jumping out of the van.
She’s in trouble. Why did we leave her behind?! No press allowed, my ass. She’s going to die now because Kirby and Bailey said she wasn’t allowed to be part of the operation.
Tara and Sam come running my way, obviously having realized the same thing as me. Bailey is right behind him and when they get closer I can hear them arguing about what’s going to happen next.
“It’s 50 blocks away,” Bailey says. “And we don’t even know it’s true. Sam, wait! Take a minute.”
“We don’t have a minute!” Sam snaps back and before I can hear the rest of Bailey’s argument, Tara rushes to me and grabs my arm, pulling me to Bailey’s squad car which is parked on the curb.
“Sprout, what are you doing?!” I ask, bewildered when Tara gets into the driver’s seat after urging me to get into the backseat.
“We’re going to save Gale,” is all she says before turning the key in the ignition (how she got it, I have no idea), and rolling down the window, shouting, “Sam! Get in.”
Sam’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise, but she’s quick to jump into action and get into the passenger seat before locking the doors from the inside.
“Hey! What are you doing? Get out of my car! That’s an official vehicle!” Bailey shouts, but Sam just rolls up the window and turns to look at Tara.
“Should we use the sirens?” she asks.
Tara, despite the seriousness of the situation, smiles mischievously and says, “Did you really think we were gonna steal a police car and not use the sirens?”
“Fuck yeah!” Sam puts on her seatbelt and Tara turns on the sirens and drives off right as Bailey reaches the car, banging on the window.
“Oh my God, he’s going to kill us,” I say, seeing him glare at us through the back window.
Tara and Sam just laugh, and I smile, too, but then my phone dings and I pull it out, feeling my heart freeze when I see the message Paige sent me.
PB&J (5:50 PM)
It’s Liam, Y/N. He’s been attacked by Ghostface.

⛤ BATFAM MASTERLIST ⛤
Damian had never been one for comforting tendencies. He often chose to seclude himself away in a corner, brooding in his own self pity or grumbling about his early-teenage misery. Apparently it had gotten worse since you arrived; having another sibling to pester him didn’t sit well on his behalf, so each time the sound of your small feet pattered into the room, he would turn his gaze away or collect his belongings that he had strewn across the room and left. You weren’t entirely sure what you had done to receive the silent treatment from Damian. Dick, the eldest of the bunch, had tried to reassure you that it was nothing personal. That he had acted that way towards him when he first arrived sending his cold glares from across the room or barging past him in the hallways, but something about the way his face contorted and his lip twitched revealed something else.
Damian Wayne was jealous. Despite the fact he would rather die than admit it, he couldn’t stand having someone else in his way. You were his biological half sister. The only other person related to the one and only Bruce Wayne. And he hated you for it. He hated Bruce for it. He hated himself for hating it, but that didn’t stop his grudge from lingering. It didn’t help that your charm meant you got along with the rest of the boys better than he did; you had shown them kindness where he had shown them coldness.
When Bruce told him that he was responsible for you whilst the others were out on patrol he did very little to hide his disdain; rolling his eyes and stomping off to his room but not before snarling at you as he pushed past.
The manor was eerily quiet that night. It was dark and without the obnoxiously loud antics of your older brothers the place felt empty. Damian was off sulking somewhere and Alfred was monitoring the computers so you were left alone to navigate the endless rooms and high ceilings. You hadn’t been at the manor long so you were still a bit unsteady when it came to navigating the maze of walls but without anyone to help you when you turned a wrong corner, it took you much longer than it should have to find your room. There were a few lights on in the halls, but all of the rooms were dark and vast and the condensation building up on the cold glass didn’t help your feeling of unease. A shiver crawled down your back and you tugged the hem of your hoodie over your hands. You breathed a heavy sigh of relief when you pushed open the door and collapsed onto your bed, burying yourself under the sheets and squeezing your eyes tightly.
Sleep didn’t come easy, much to your dismay. There were too many odd sounds drifting through the house; something clicking, the wind whipping around outside, tree branches tapping on the glass, a dripping tap in your bathroom that stopped for a few blissful minutes before starting up again with a monotonous tempo. Tucking your knees and head to your chest you tried to bury yourself deeper into the bed and drown out the sounds that to someone who had lived there a while wouldn’t even bat an eye at.
When your tired body finally dragged sleep into it’s clutches it was restless. You tossed and turned with a furrowed brow. The images were dark and disturbing; twisted figures of your new family being captured, of strange figure looming over you in the dark reaching out a cold, bony hand that could have easily been mistaken for a claw until it was only inches away from, reaching and reaching until the icy digits brushed the surface of your skin.
You shot up, kicking off the sheets and clutching your skin where the hand had touched you; you could have sworn you could still feel it there so cold that it felt as though it were going to burn a hole into your delicate skin. Tears rolled fat and ugly down your cheek and your forced yourself out of bed with trembling legs. Your feet carried you down the hall and before you knew it had planted you outside of Damian’s room. Like the others it was dark and silent, but you knew it was his. You had walked past it too many times, itching to just catch a chance of talking to him. Despite your state, your hand hovered above the frame unable to bring yourself to knock. What if he yelled at you or turned you away like he usually does? You supposed you could go and find Alfred instead- no. He was busy. The idea was gone from your head almost as soon as it had appeared and with a shaky sob you rapped your knuckles against his door.
“What do you want-”
He opened the door much quicker than you thought he would. His jostled hair and cantankerous stare loomed over you, but he changed very unexpectedly when he noticed your sobbing and dewy eyes. Without thinking twice you wrapped your arms around him bawling into his chest. His body relaxed slightly as he frowned sympathetically, wrapping an arm around you and bringing you closer to him. It was odd even to him that there was something special about the moment. Damian wrapped you and led you over to his messy bed, settling you on the edge. The dampness that has seeped into the middle of his shirt didn’t bother him as he crouched down on his toes in front of you.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, uncharacteristically tenderly.
“I…i-” You stuttered trying to force the story out but only failing which just ended up causing a fresh bout of tears to fall.
The boy cupped your hands in his, getting your attention. Tilting your head up, you saw his softened gaze.
“Calm down, kiddo. You’re okay.” He gave you a gentle nod of reassurance.
It took a few moments but soon your blubbering slowed into something of a calm, only interrupted by the occasional hiccup that pushed it way past your lips.
“That’s it kid.” He rubbed your back “You’re okay.”
“I’m so-rry.” You hiccupped. “Please don’t be mad at me.”
This made Damian pause as a feeling of being humbled washed over him.
“Tt. Why would I be mad?”
“Because I woke you up.” You pushed yourself up to stand, wiping away tears and making your way to the door. “I’m sorry. I’m being stupid.”
“Oh..y/n…”
Everything seemed to hit Damian all at once. He had been so caught up in his own jealousy that he had completely refused to think about how you felt and it occurred to him that you had so much more in common. You were a scared kid who had just been thrown amongst the most complicated family in Gotham. You were in need of love and guidance and he had failed to do that. The dark haired boy began to feel very guilty. It was his responsibility as your older brother to show you the ropes and he had point blank refused.
He pushed himself up and settled down on the bed gesturing for you to follow. For a moment he thought that he had completely ruined everything; that you were going to leave and just suffer in silence albeit you walked over to the bed and perched on the end enjoying the way that the memory foam sank down slowly around you.
“I’m so sorry that I haven’t been there for you. It was selfish of me, I understand now that-”
“It’s okay.” You cut him off with a smile.
He nodded contently and pulled you into a hug.
After a while you meekly broke the silence. “Dami?”
“Mmh?”
“Can I stay here tonight? Please?”
Damian grinned down as his little sibling proudly for the first time since you had arrived. He then shuffled across the bed and opened up the duvet for you to clamber in next to him. He slung an arm over you protectively.
“You can stay whenever you need, Little Bat.”
