★ katsuki and yourself weren’t big drinkers. sure after you two had graduated, you had gone to a few parties here and there but you were never a fan of the whole spinning dizzy feeling that alcohol brought with it, especially since you two are heroes. patrolling while hungover under the heat of the hot summer sun was dreadful.
so when you get a call from katsuki one evening while you were on patrol saying how kirishimas and the rest of the guys were going out for a few, who were you to say no? even though you knew the invitation for yourself always stood, katsuki needed some time for himself and by the time you would get off patrol it would already be past midnight.
so after exchanging some ‘i love you’s’, you disconnected the call and got back to whatever strolling you were doing.
and as the night went on you got more and more notifications that buzzed in your back pocket from who you assumed was your boyfriend. you eventually had a quick break and chugged an energy drink while fishing for your phone.
you let out a snort of laughter and looked around to make sure no one heard you before looking back down at your screen. there you saw multiple pictures took by denki of him standing on what you assumed was a stool while taking 0.5 picture’s of katsuki. what made you laugh even more was his flushed face and droopy eyes that held no fight in them as he stood there with his hands by his sides.
you could tell that he had drank quite a bit and as your break came to an end you had a short two hours left of your shift before you were able to finally get home and most likely take care of your said boyfriend.
and you were correct because as soon as you even such as stepped in through the doors of your shared apartment your phone once again started buzzing, this time it was a call.
“hello?” there was a shuffling noise before shouting hit your eardrums along with the music that blasted in the background.
“HEYY LOOK, ARE YOU-” you grimaced as you hear a glass breaking alongside some yelling. “huh? hello?”
the phone was picked back up. “THIS IS KIRISHIMA, KATSUKI IS KINDA REALLY DRUNK AND-” you then heard a whooshing sound and another crash. you stood there looking at your phone and then brining it close to your ear again. “uhh..kiri..shima?”
you heard the phone being picked up and panting into the microphone. “SORRY I JUST LAUNCHED MY PHONE HALFWAY ACROSS THE DANCE FLOOR AND IT HIT SOMEONE IN THE FACE.” you had to physically distance yourself from the phone before answering.
“kiri you don’t have to yell i can hear you!” you felt as if it was a screaming competition at that point. you heard a cackle before kirishimas finally got to the point.
“sorry, sorry! it’s just that bakubro got hella drunk and he’s kinda unmovable right now. he keeps saying your name and won’t really listen to anyone, would it be alright if you could come and pick him up?”
you were already picking up your keys and sliding on your shoes. “of course, be there in five.”
and so here you were pulling into the parking spot outside of the front doors of the building.
as you stepped in, you already felt exhaustion hitting you as you strolled around to try and find your boyfriend and those goons.
and then you saw him, sitting in a corner seat, with a cute sleepy look on his face, arms still crossed as always. kneeling in front of him, you saw denki, sero and kiri sitting across as they helped gather his stuff. you placed a palm against his face and patted his knee with the other.
“kats, love?” he groaned and slightly opened his eyes. “hey i’m gonna take you home okay?” and then suddenly, he moves his face away from your hand as his face held something like a mix of disgust and offence.
“get those damn hands away from me. i’ve a girlfriend.” although his speech was slurred you blinked before letting out a chuckle as the guys behind you hollered and stumbled over eachother.
you raised a brow, amused to see him act that way. “oh really? sorry about that kats, i won’t do it again.” his face whipped around to face you as he grimaced again. “oi. don’t call me that. only she can and you ain’t her.. so back off...” his sentence held no malicious intent as his head slowly tipped back. “where is she. i miss her.”
kirishima then came up next to you and patted his back. “bro shes right here! see?” in response to his words, katsuki raised his head and squinted at you for a while before slowly smiling. “heyy it’s my girlfriend.” immediately his head landed on your shoulder. he started babbling as he wrapped his arms around your frame, almost knocking you to the floor from the sudden weight. in the meantime, you glanced at his red headed friend.
“i’m sorry how much did he drink?” in response he scratched the back of his neck before holding up three fingers. “JESUS KIRI THREE BOTTLES?” kirishimas shook his head before cackling. “three drinks.”
now you knew your boyfriend was a lightweight but this was a tad too funny to you, not that you would ever tell him.. obviously.
with the help of kirishima, you managed to walk out a stumbling katsuki and just about sat him in the passenger seat before strapping him in as he babbled on about how much he missed you. sero and denki handed over his wallet and phone to you and you thanked them before saying your goodbyes as you sat behind the wheel.
on the drive back katsuki acted like he hadn’t seen you in months by the way he held your hand and kissed it every two seconds. with him telling you how much he loved you and how beautiful you where. in that moment you could not only feel somewhat giddy but be thankful for having this man in your life. no matter how tough he looked or acted, it really was true that he was a softy, drunk or not.
after arriving, getting him into bed wasn’t even a problem. he listened to your every word as he clung to you like a koala. you helped him brush his teeth on the toilet seat as you sat on his lap. even while drunk, his grip was still firm but gentle.
you then got him changed, him getting stuck in his t-shirt a few times, and you both finally climbed into bed. there was pure silence other that his quiet snores as he rested on your chest. as expected, he ended up passing out the second he wrapped his arms around you.
as you pressed a kiss on his forehead, you could once again feel the wave of exhaustion crashing over you as the warm pressure of katsuki’s body lulled you to sleep.
and in the morning katsuki awoke with not only a headache but also a lovely picture of his drunken state as a 0.5 printed and framed photo hanging in the living room as a forever reminder of that night.

Some of Tee and Ja'Marr's thoughts on the Tee Situation
Tee said to me 'right now I get to play with one of the, if not the, best quarterbacks in the game, I get to play with one of, if not the, best wide receivers in the game, that opens up so much more for me.' And then he said 'this offense is designed for so many different players to be spotlighted, the way that I am used in this offense so plays to my strengths.' And then he said to me, 'can you guarantee I can have that exact situation anywhere else?'
....
So do I think he's taking a home discount? No. But I do think that he is very very smart, he sees the whole picture out there...
....
It's very easy to compare this situation to what Ja'Marr had at LSU with Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson. And Ja'Marr has said Tee is very different than Justin Jefferson. That every single minute with Justin Jefferson was a competition. That everything was who makes the more dynamic catch, who has more catches in practice, who runs faster? Everything was that way. Ja'Marr had to speak up and demand the ball a lot at LSU, because so was Justin. Ja'Marr told me that he doesn't have to do that in Cincinnati because Tee, and this is a quote from Ja'Marr, is one of the most unselfish humans you'll ever meet.
#VERY VERY INTERESTING STUFF#also fuck evan this guy is so annoying he KEPT interrupting her through her whole segment and then smiled all condescending like#'what about the money you idiot woman'#and it's like YES the money IS a good point#this could easily all just be talk from tee and ja'marr#because tee DOES deserve all the money he can get#he DOES also deserve the chance at being WR1 if that's what he wants#(he has always done well as WR1 when ja'marr is out/hurt)#so like yes. those are important caveats.#that can definitely be talking points without evan's annoying ass comments and interruptions and looks#(like dude are you not also just some sideline reporter? no need to act like you're better than aditi. BUT WHATEVER)#very interesting considerations! that tee is aware of all the good of his current situation#and may not want to change it at all??#again. could just be saying shit. actions speak louder than words and all that#but the action of dropping your agent (who has the BEST track record of getting guaranteed money) only to go to the agent of the guy#who the front office is going to try to leverage your negotiations against#is like. well. that feels very very deliberate!!#that these two are going to put up a united front. to try to do their best to stay together AND get paid.#which sounds too good to be true tbh!#and then ja'marr comparing his relationship with justin and his relationship with tee!!#both important relationships! both beautiful connections!#and like. justin and ja'marr NEEDED that kind of relationship in college#one of support and competition. pushing each other to be their best. so that they could come into the league#and break all these records almost immediately#and then now a more settled relationship with tee. calmer softer maybe.#that post about how important relationships that let you REST are#man. man. i could go on forever about all of this but this is already too much!!!#tee higgins#ja'marr chase#cincinnati bengals

SIMONE SAYS
You wanted to stop your boyfriend. You wanted to end this right now, but Simone had said you had to sit quietly with the ballgag in, so that's what you were doing.
He looked exactly like her now... that bitch in the mirror. You kept telling yourself she wasn't real, that this was just a game that had gotten out of hand... but the fact your boyfriend was now almost a physical copy of your imaginary friend suggested this was more than some prank. Somehow this WAS real.
She pulled the satin pants into place and reached down for the final item of clothing...
In moments there would only be Simone.
How had this all started? Well it was all your fault.
You'd always had an imaginary friend called Simone that you blamed for everything naughty you ever did growing up. A play on 'Simon says' anytime you'd ever gotten into trouble you told people Simone had told you to do it.
When you'd gotten older, it had continued. Simone got the blame for telling you to cheat on guys, be horrible to people at work and act like a bitch. If anything it was a fun game that gave you license to do whatever the fuck you wanted.
In time it even began to make you act worse. Imagine what Simone would do in this situation... how bad and evil she would act. It made you actually come up with nasty ideas and thoughts.
Your imaginary friend was the most evil, sex obsessed cruel bitch imaginable. And then you'd got your boyfriend involved too.
You'd told Gary about Simone when you'd first met - as a kind of joke. But then he'd told you it kind of turned him on when you did things she would do. So you went along with it.
Simone appatantly told you to suck his dick in public, send him nude photos at work and then even stick your finger up his ass when you were fucking. Gary loved to play 'Simone says' the rules were you had to do whatever she told you.
But then things got weird. You began seeing a beautiful woman in every mirror you passed and so did he. The two of you were astounded to find out that somehow Simone was becoming real.
Now whenever you passed a mirror her evil whispers would fill your mind and make you do things. At first you thought you were just losing your minds - but then you began to see there was more to it.
Your imaginary friend had somehow become real and was now reaching across the mirror dimension trying to get into the real world.
Simone was coming to life and she was hungry for a body. Your body.
The two of you smashed every mirror in the house and tried to escape. Maybe if you ran far enough you could escape her.
You realised your mistake when you walked into the hotel room with its huge bathroom mirror and saw Simone smirking at you.
"Simone says Gary... become me."
You realised then that it wasn't you she wanted to possess but him. As you watched him begin to put on your clothes, he started to change.
"Mmmmmh I feel so fucking good," moaned Gary as his bones shifted and his reflection began to resemble the smirking bitch in the mirror.
With each item of clothing he put on, his change into her accelerated and you watched your imaginary friend being born in the real world. The girl in the mirror laughed and exulted, her actions freakily different to the woman in front of it.
Breasts grew, hips widened, hair lengthened, skin tanned. A beautiful woman was being born and she was loving every second of it as the image in the mirror began to fade. Simon was newly real and the mirror could no longer contain her.
As Gary slid on a blouse his body finished transforming and Simone finished touching up her makeup. The mirror shimmered and suddenly cracked then Simone's ntoken reflection returned... only now just a normal reflection of a real woman. Gary was totally gone.
"Well loser, it's done. I'm finally in your world. Mmmmmh all those naughty things you've blamed me for over the years... well I can't wait to ACTUALLY do all of them.
Simone giggled as she advanced and rooting around in your suitcase found a butt plug.
"Why don't we start with a little BDSM? Simone says bend over."
As you assumed the position, you wish you'd never invented such a fucking bitch...

Daniela Avanzini x fem!reader
summary: your best friend, dani can be a really possessive freak and you guys fight about it a lot. when you get a new boyfriend, she was falling back into her toxic ways, but you—maybe, just maybe—kinda find her jealousy… hot?
warnings: slight!nsfw, suggestive/sexual themes, harsh language, mean/toxic!dani, pushover!reader, cheating
Daniela had always been a territorial woman. Since her days on the playground, sneering at any kid who would come up and try to snag her seat on the swing or in high school, when she’d yank a girl’s scalp off for taking her cheer spot.
Being Daniela’s best friend could be really exhausting at times, especially when she saw you as just another thing she owned.
Even in middle school, people would mistake Daniela as your girlfriend, the way she’d always have an arm over you or scare off any interested boy or girl with one cold glare. And nobody dared give you a second glance. As much as her reputation shielded you from any potential threat, it stripped you of your freedom to experience things in the dating scene.
And honestly, she has no shame in taking accountability for it.
Daniela truly believed nobody was good enough. They would always be too tall, too short, too annoying, too quiet—nobody ever satisfied her rigid standard for your partners.
You’d spend nights in her room, after sending the boy you’re talking to home to recover from a night of mean and passive comments from Daniela, fighting her about her attitude.
She’d always roll her eyes, calling you ‘insane for getting mad at wanting to protect you’. But she’d somehow always make it up to you in some half-assed apology and big puppy dog eyes, taking you out for ice-cream, making sure you’d crawl straight back into her open arms.
And like the fucking pushover you were, you would.
You met Jake at a really cool record store. You stopped by the place after work—alone, because Daniela was still caught up at rehearsal—and you were greeted by a well-dressed boy with a thick Australian accent.
The two of you had shared a similar taste in music, and he made you laugh in a way you hadn’t in a very long time. When he asked you for your number, you didn’t have to give it much thought—you wanted to see this man again.
You didn’t mention the encounter to Daniela when she asked about your day that night. She would absolutely freak.
The months after you met Jake, you would hang out with him whenever Daniela was unavailable. You felt so free, mind in such a happy state whenever you were around him.
You felt you worry less about Daniela when you held hands for the first time when Daniela bailed on you for a Katseye bonding thing, when he kissed you under the snow during Christmas eve when Daniela wanted to go clubbing with Manon, when he brought you to dinner over a city view of LA to ask you officially to be his girlfriend with flowers and a record of the band you both adored.
You remembered feeling an argument with Daniela arise that night when she called to ditch you for her career for the nth time. She was making up some bullshit reason, when she was just choosing to prioritize her bandmates above you.
You sighed, wanting out before things got tense.
It caught her off guard when you would just tell her a simple “no problem, see you” instead of whine like usual.
She knew something was up; you had been acting off for months, the effect she had on you—the control she had on your relationship—was slipping through her fingers.
Which brings us to now, you in Jake’s car after calling him the moment you hung up on Daniela.
“No, I’m telling you, you need to watch the movies in order from best to worst, not chronologically,” Jake insisted, his eyes trained on the road, “It won’t make sense, but it’s better.”
You rolled your eyes, but a smile tugged at your lips. You interlaced your fingers with his on your thigh.
“I don’t know why you love those movies so much, it’s just about grown men driving fast cars and tokyo drifting.” you teased, immediately scoffing at the loud gasp he let out.
“Don’t you disrespect the Fast & Furious franchise like that.”
You looked at him, admiring his side profile as he sped through the busy LA streets. You reached out to run a hand through his styled, black hair, feeling him buzz as he chuckled. “What?”
“Thanks for taking me out tonight, Jake.”
He brought your intertwined hands up to his lips, pressing a chaste kiss on the back of your hand. “Of course, love. I’ll take you wherever you want, just give me a call.”
Before you could answer, your phone buzzed, interrupting the music you were playing on bluetooth. Siri read out the contact name and you froze; “Text message from, ‘DANI ♡’. On my way to your house, I’m bringing booze’. Reply?”
Your hand untangled from Jake’s grabbing your phone to quickly silence the message. You shot her a quick “sounds good” before shoving your phone into your purse. Jake raised an eyebrow, glancing over at you quickly before he had to avert his gaze back to traffic. “Didn’t you say Dani was off partying tonight with her friends tonight?”
You nodded, smile faltering. “Yeah, but it’s fine. She probably needs a place closer to downtown to crash, she does this when they go out, my apartment’s closer than their dorm.”
Jake hummed, “So… I can’t stay over tonight?”
He drove into a small street and pulled into your driveway, turning the ignition off. Jake turned in his seat, his piercing eyes now fully focused on you as he grabbed your hand again. He pouted, quivering his lip dramatically as he sniffed.
“Guess not. Tomorrow night?”
He nodded, before getting out the car and running over to your side. He popped open your door, a hand held out to take yours as you both stood on the side of your car. He leant against the hood, hands on your hips as he smiled. “I’m glad you called, I’d rather be out with you than doing some lame spreadsheet for my stupid clients.”
You chuckled, slapping his chest. “Those stupid clients pay your bills, Jake. But thanks for dinner, that place was amazing. We should go back some time, it’s a nice excuse to dress up.”
He bit his lip, eyeing you up and down. “Oh, we’re going back if it means I get to see you in this smoking outfit again.”
“Okay, perv. I have to get out of said smoking outfit before Dani gets here.” You leant in, smirking, “Wouldn’t want anyone but you seeing me like this now, would I?”
He took your lips in for a long kiss, moving against yours in sync. You pulled away before he could deepen the kiss anymore, because you knew he’d sweet-talk his way into having you get back into his car.
“Goodnight, Mr. Sim.” You whispered, hands slipping from his shoulders down to his hands before pulling apart. You backed towards your front door, watching him blow you a kiss. “Text me when you get home.”
“You got it… Mrs. Sim.” He smiled, his hands in the pockets of his suit. “Have fun with Dani. I love you.”
You feel a flutter in your chest, a mix of nerves and excitement, and you’re so caught up in the moment that you don’t even notice Daniela standing in your bedroom window.
The door closed softly behind you, and when you retreat to your room, you saw her. She’s leaning back casually, one leg crossed over the other, but there’s nothing relaxed about the way her eyes are fixed on you. Her lips are pressed into a thin line, and her jaw is tight.
"Well, well," she drawled, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Looks like you had fun."
You blinked, caught off guard. "God, Dani, you scared me.”
She was lying on your bed, a magazine from your nightstand sprawled out in front of her as she threw a swig of beer back. “I thought I’d come since I was in the neighborhood. Clearly, I shouldn’t have bothered—you’ve got a new little boyfriend for that now, don’t you?"
Her words are laced with venom, and it sets you on edge. "His name is Jake. He drove me home after a date, that’s all. Why are you acting like this?"
"Like this?" she snapped, her eyes narrowing. "Oh, I don’t know, maybe because I just watched you make out with that fucktard in a suit in front of your house like you’re in some cheap rom-com."
Your cheeks flushed, both with embarrassment and irritation. "You were watching us? Dani, that’s insane."
"What’s insane," she said, stepping closer, "is you wasting your time on someone like him while you leave me waiting."
"Stop it," you snapped your voice rising. "You don’t know him.”
She laughed sarcastically, shaking her head. "I don’t need to know him. I know you. And I know you’re settling for someone go definitely doesn’t deserve what you can give."
You crossed your arms, trying to steady yourself under the weight of her intense gaze. "And what do I deserve, Dani? Someone like you?"
The words are out before you can think better of them, and for a moment, there’s silence. Her expression hardened, but there’s something else there—something raw and unguarded.
“I just don’t think he’s good for you,” Daniela scoffed, her hands in her pockets. Her sharp eyes glared straight at you from across the bed, swinging her legs over your sheets to sit on the edge of your bed. “I mean, when was the last time you had time for yourself, really?”
You groaned, shaking your head. “This is not up for discussion, Dani, I’m not about to argue about this with you, okay?”
“I want what’s best for you, mami, and it’s so obvious you’re not even that into him.” She barked. She watched you take your hair out, fluffing it out as you stripped out of your jacket, shaking off your heels, then the tight and skimpy dress you had hugging your skin. “Why’re you entertaining this prick?”
“How would you know what’s good for me? You haven’t given me any of your time since you debuted,” you sighed, “Y’know I’m very happy for you, Dani, but I haven’t seen you in so long.”
“Oh my God, it’s my opinion!”
“Well it’s not your opinion to have!” You raised your voice, “For the love of God, Dani, I’m not some pet you own. I don’t have to run every little thing or decision in my life by you before I do them, okay? And while you’re out drinking and fucking girls, Jake has kept me company. He doesn’t make plans and then call to cancel last minute. And he’s not a prick.”
Daniela’s nose scrunched as she held back a snarl. Her fingers tightened around your sheets, scrunching under her white knuckles. Oh, if she could have five minutes locked in a room with this guy, she would beat his face in so much he’d taste his own brain. He was tainting Daniela’s perfect little girl.
“I work extra hard so I can take you on vacations during my breaks. I deserve some downtime, don’t you think?” She stood, tilting her head, “It doesn’t really matter anyway, does it? While I’m out fucking those girls, you’re busy fucking him.”
“And what’s wrong with that, exactly? I’m a grown woman.”
“A grown woman who doesn’t even know what she wants,” Daniela muttered through gritted teeth. She walked closer to you as you backed away from her, eventually, your back hit the wall. “A grown woman who left her best friend waiting in her house while macking her boyfriend on his car outside like a whore. A grown woman who let the first guy who showed her any interest shove his dick in her.”
You shook your head, your chest tightening at her harsh words. She was always mean, but she had never been so cruel before. You felt tears well into your eyes. “You don’t mean that.”
“No? You hurt ‘cuz I’m right, mami?” She laughed at your reaction, a hand resting against the wall beside your head. “When have I ever been wrong?”
She had a point. She was really toxic with it, but she was seldom wrong. Still, you were absolutely over the way she treated you. You weren’t the same high-school girl who was loyal to a fault who would agree with everything she said.
“How much do you fuck in a week, hm?”
You swallowed thickly, turning away to avoid her heavy gaze. You knew to never stare straight into those piercing eyes, it was a trap. “That’s none of your business.”
“Bet he starts feeling you up every time, you say ‘no’ but after a couple drinks and couple kisses, you end up letting him touch you.” Her voice was low and husky, her breath grazing your cheek. “Then you wake up in his bed, feeling real good about yourself, before you leave him to come see me.”
Sex with Jake was a sensitive topic. He was a very passionate guy, very touchy and he loved inviting you over to his place a lot. You always thought he rushed into it too much, but you tried not to pay those thoughts any mind because you wanted to keep him happy.
“Dani, please, just stop.”
“He’s a placeholder,” she interrupts, her tone sharp and unforgiving. “You’re so desperate for someone to love you that you’ve settled for the first guy you see. It’s pathetic, honestly.”
Anger was gradually taking over your bruised self-esteem, but so does something else—something you can’t quite name. Daniela’s words sting, but the way she’s looking at you now, her eyes burning with intensity, her plump lips spitting out whatever insults she could think of and her body mere inches away from yours. It made your stomach churn… or flutter?
“Get off me. You’re being an asshole about this and I don’t want to talk about it anymore,” you say, though your voice wavers slightly. “You don’t decide who I fuck and that’s that.”
“Oh, don’t I?” She leans forward, closing the space between you, and suddenly the air feels charged. Her gaze drops to your lips for the briefest of moments before snapping back to your eyes. “I’ve seen you in ways he never will, loved you better than he ever can. I know you better than anyone. Better than yourself. And I’m not about to sit back and watch you throw yourself away on someone who doesn’t deserve you.”
Her words are venomous, but her proximity is intoxicating. You wanted to shove her away, to tell her she crossed the line—but you can’t. Because part of you knew it meant she cared, and after months of feeling neglected, you craved it.
“You’re being ridiculous,” you muttered, though your voice lacked conviction.
“Am I?” Her hand comes up to cup your jaw, her fingers firm against your skin. “Tell me I’m wrong. Tell me everything I just said isn’t true and I’ll back off.”
You couldn’t. Because she was right. You didn’t want to say it though, to give her the satisfaction.
“Whatever. I’m gonna take a shower, you better be gone when I get out.” You warned, gently shoving her backwards. “Take the booze. I don’t wanna see you until you stop acting like a child throwing a tantrum at their mom not getting them candy.”
“Don’t walk away from me.” She tutted, pulling you back by your wrist. Before you could tell her off, you felt her grab you by the waist, her lips silencing whatever you had to say.
It’s not gentle or soft—it’s fierce and demanding, exactly like everything else about Daniela. Her lips thrashed against yours, her nails digging into your skin as if she’s trying to stake her claim. Her hand crept up to your neck, fingers squeezing the sides of your jaw slightly as she gripped your throat. Your mind screamed at you to pull away, to tell her this was insane, but your body betrayed you. You kissed her back, letting out a soft moan as she pulled your lip back between her teeth.
Her possessiveness, her toxicity—it should repulse you. You always thought it did. But now, with her pinning you to your bed as her cool hands snaked up your stomach, things seemed clearer. The way she took control, the way she pushed you to the edge—it was irresistibly hot.
When she finally pulls back, her lips are swollen, her breathing ragged. Her eyes hooded and her pupils blown wide. “You don’t like me staying out late? Fucking whatever bitches who throw themselves at me?” she rasped. “If you missed me that much, you could’ve just told me, mami. I would’ve dropped anything to come see you.”
Daniela doesn’t give you time to think. Her hand slid from your throat to your heaving chest. She smirked, a mix of arrogance and desire, and leant in again.
“You like this, baby?” she murmured, her lips ghosting over yours, teasing but not quite touching. “You like me putting you in your place? Maybe if I’d done this earlier, you wouldn’t have thrown yourself into that fuckface’s arms.”
You want to deny it, to push her away and tell her she’s wrong, but the words catch in your throat. The truth is written all over your flushed skin, in the way your breath hitches every time her lips get closer.
“Answer me,” she demanded, her voice low and commanding.
“Yes, Dani, yes, I do.” You panted breathily.
She grinned in satisfaction, the grill in her teeth shining under the dim lights on in your room. She quickly muffled any noises that came from your mouth with another kiss, deeper this time. Her fingers were quick to grab at the hem of your dress, tugging it up just enough to make you gasp against her mouth. She took advantage, her tongue sliding against yours, and it was absolutely dizzying, intoxicating.
Her knee pressed between your thighs, you gripped her shoulders, nails digging into her skin as if to ground yourself, but it only seemed to turn her on.
“He’s just a blank piece of shit who wants to get his dick sucked,” she whispered against your lips, her voice dripping with venom and passion. “Tell me who you belong to, mami.”
Every word she said, every move she made, set your skin ablaze. You were getting hot and needy, your body aching at the absence of her touch.
“Dani,” you breathed, her name slipping from your lips like a confession, a surrender.
She pulled back just enough to look at you, her dark eyes searching yours. “Say it,” she repeated, softer this time but no less insistent. “So you won’t ever forget it.”
“I’m yours,” you admit, the words tumbling out before you can stop them. “You own me, Dani.”
Her lips curl into a victorious smile, and she leans in, her breath hot against your ear. “Oh, baby,” she whispered, her voice sending shivers through you. “I’m gonna spell my name out in hickeys, so that boy you of yours know it too.”
Before you could respond, she’s kissing you again, more demanding, more consuming. Every touch, every movement feels like a claim, a declaration that you belong to her and no one else. You’re lost in her, in the intensity of it all, and for the first time, you don’t want to mind Daniela’s possessiveness.
You knew you’d fight about this in the morning, but confusion was definitely pushed to be experienced in the morning…
Jakey :) Hey baby you left your wallet in my car
Jakey :) Can I come drop it off really quick?

while seeing the havoc his ex wracked inside his apartment did startle him and cause him more stress and anxiety, it was just things that were destroyed. material possessions that could be replaced. they might not have the same sentimental value but a lot of what was broken were things that his ex had gifted him so he was okay with letting the items go. garam wanted to shake his head, he wanted to tell angel that they shouldn't drive themselves further into living in fear. he wanted to believe his ex would leave him alone, that he'd move on in a couple weeks or as soon as he found somebody new to sleep with if he hadn't already found someone. with what happened, garam couldn't even say with any ounce of confidence that axel hadn't already been sleeping with other guys while they were together. "i think cameras might be a bit much, maybe we can get one of those ring doorbell things. they have the little camera in it so it'll serve more than one purpose." it was easier to convince him to get one if it didn't solely function as a camera. at least with that gadget, they'd be able to see and talk to who was at the door on one of their phones so they wouldn't even have to physically open the door. plus, if axel did try to come over again, there'd be physical proof of his harassment. "i want to be able to take care of you, too." he whispered, trying to hold his composure as angel got closer to him. his heart was beating so fast as the other's lips pressed to his neck, garam hoped angel couldn't tell. sure, he wanted the other to know the effect he had on him but he didn't want to lose the control he had over his own body and end up aroused like last night. that's why, when angel let go of him and stood up, garam let out a quiet sigh of relief. he just sat there looking up to the other, remaining quiet for a few seconds to appear like he actually had a choice in the matter. of course he was going to agree but it didn't hurt to pull out these cute, sweet words from angel. a few seconds passed and garam was nodding his head. "let's make a day of it," he agreed. garam stood up as well, only he had done so on top of angel's bed instead of on the floor so he'd at least be closer in height to angel. his arms lifted over his head as he stretched, lifting himself up onto the tips of his toes but only for a moment as he quickly lost his balance but he stayed steady enough to remain on his feet. he knew full and well that he was already very much exposed and stretching like he had only exposed both his legs and his lower stomach, as his shirt had unintentionally lifted a bit too much, even more. but he did say he'd make angel pay for the reaction his own body had to their little activities last night. garam was going to take every opportunity he could to make angel feel as flustered as he did last night. "mind if i take a shower first? i'd invite you to join me but i do recall you answering the door in just a towel last night." he giggled a bit before his expression turned stone cold as he hopped down off the bed and began unbuttoning his shirt. "don't do that again, by the way. you never know who's on the other side of the door. what if it was some sweet old lady who came to you for help and she strokes out at the sight of your glistening abs? your body is just too dangerous to be showing it off all willy-nilly."
Angel simply nodded at the man’s request. Knowing he would never let either of them get that far under the influence. That wasn’t what he wanted. Feeling the pressure against his hands Angel shifted his gaze. He looked down at their hands and back up to Garam only to see the man looking away. He stayed silent as he listened to the other man. He appreciated him being honest in this moment. Jealousy. It seemed to be the root of their problems. Well and Darius, which Angel made a mental note to talk to. His new friend had been rather affectionate since Garam came. Now that he and Garam spoke, it was time to set proper boundaries with him. Angel did feel terrible for kissing two men in one night. Especially when one of them saw it happen. He could see where Garam was coming from. He would be upset too.Angel continued to listen. Taking in everything Garam had to say. He wasn’t a fan of the man downing himself. This is what made him interrupt, “Garam…Garam listen to me. Let’s not worry about that right now. Okay?” He spoke softly placing his hand on the man’s cheek. Angel leaned slightly to get a better view of his face. “Neither of us is ready to choose anyone. I’m enjoying whatever we have going now. No pressure. No titles, just me and you. Okay?” Angel was now leaning forward whispering in the man’s ear. He could tell Garam was getting tense thinking of Axel breaking in. Now was not the time to tell him he already did. Now he was trespassed from the building. He needed the man to feel safe. Angel hated himself for it but he continued to keep quiet. “Garam, I’m sorry he destroyed your apartment. That must have been a lot to deal with on your own” Angel’s face dropped slightly and began rather serious. It was making more sense why his best friend was cold when he returned home. It wasn’t just the kiss. It seemed to be many factors that came into play. Angel ran his thumb over the man’s cheekbone and allowed his hand to slip to Garam’s neck. “Today we can make some phone calls to have more security put in. I’ve already been thinking of getting a camera for the door. Maybe a code that we give to no one.” Angel began spouting ideas nothing to calm his best friend down. As his hand moved to his neck Angel’s fingers played with the ends of his hair, a small smile gracing his lips. “We can get a bat. I said I’ll take care of you. I meant that.” He said quietly as he pressed a gentle kiss to Garam’s neck. “Now can we go get these pancakes you want? Now I’m craving them. What do you say?” Now whispering against his neck. Angel pulled back now and pulled his touch away as he stood up. “Let’s make a day of it. We can get pancakes at this great spot I know. Take a walk over to the mall. Look at some cameras. Maybe even buy one. Oh! Stop at the art store. I need some supplies. Even grab lunch, maybe? What do you say?” Angel chose a secret weapon. A pout and big eyes as he clasped his hands together. He began to whine begging the man to say yes. It took a lot of strength to keep from laughing but he was desperate. He didn’t want to be sad anymore. These heavy and tough conversations were taking a lot out of him. “Pleaseeee baby” he whined once more.

I love your writing so much! Can I request how heatwave would react to his little human gf when she gets the chance to babysit Cece for the Greene’s and she’s literally like a mom? Even the Burns would be surprised at how good reader is acting with little Cece. Kade would fs tease heatwave as well, saying something like, “she’s loves kids, heatwave. Take notes on that.”
We all know that heatwave secretly loved robo baby in that one episode, and I feel like he feels the same for cece ngl.
Sorry if this seems too descriptive 😞 tysm tho!💛
AWWW THIS IS SO CUTE!! I’m so sorry for coming late, Christmas and stuff! I’m so glad I can write freely now. I’ll do a small introduction as an apology for my late answer >:]
(ALSO TYSMMM GAH)
[ HEATWAVE ] x [ FEMME!READER ]
[ heatwave x human!femme!motherlike!reader ]
INTRODUCTION
You were first introduced to the Rescue Bots due to Kade’s trust in you. You both were really good friends and you somehow had the tolerance to stand Kade on a daily basis. Kade with his loud mouth slipped and told you about the Rescue Bots, Heatwave specifically. Because of this, you met the Rescue Bots and got to know them on a personal level.
Months pass and seemingly Heatwave has been pushing Kade away, bringing himself to be with you more often. You saw him as a gentle soul and he appreciated that. After a while, the little love confessions happen and you both got together. (let’s say he confessed first, bluntly)
Ever since then, you both were lovers. Unfortunately you did not have any training in the field and only knew some medical procedures, so you stayed behind or went with Chief in-case of emergencies or injured civilians.
Mr. Greene trusted you a lot due to your kind and trusting nature, so overtime, he wanted to adjust you to Cece, his daughter. You adored her so when you got to babysit her, it was definitely a fun time for you. That day was a quiet one, so you and Heatwave decided to take care of Cece during the time you guys have together.
HEADCANONS
- When you brought Cece to the department while Cece slept in your arms, the Rescue Bots were definitely surprised. Boulder was the most happy with her appearance due to a past emergency where he was her little frog-plush (something that you can never get over). Chase and Blades didn’t mind too much, but Heatwave did.
- Heatwave was not fond of Cece. Having a fragile baby near massive sentient robots doesn't seem safe, but you assured Heatwave that you can keep her safe.
- You tried to get Heatwave to get along with Cece, constantly getting him to help you take care of her. You even got him to hold Cece, in your vision of course.
- After a while, you picked up Heatwave’s true feelings about little and young sentients (or technically babies). He seemed to be pretty comfortable and fond of them, he seems to be more relaxed with the knowledge that he’s taking care of such a fragile being. You think that he thinks that Cece is pretty wholesome, annoying but fun.
- Cece really likes Heatwave. It’s common that babies enjoy those ‘hard to get’ types of people, knowing deep down that they still care. You saw this so you got Cece to hang around with Heatwave more often than you, and they got along pretty well. Heatwave was too afraid to hurt her so he didn’t do much, trying to make it look like he doesn’t care when he really does.
- You do all of the chores when it comes to taking care of Cece. Changing her nappy, feeding her and bathing her. Heatwave does the comforting and rocking her to bed type of chore. Though you could easily do that yourself, the sight of Heatwave being a parental figure always warmed your heart.
- Though he’s afraid to admit it, Heatwave does get jealous of Cece. Though it’s an absolutely embarrassing secret, when Cece is around, she takes all of your attention away from him. He doesn’t care but the bitter jealousy does linger over him when you are babysitting Cece.
- You enjoy getting Heatwave to turn into a firetruck and driving you and Cece around. Cece giggling and looking outside the window is an adorable sight and Heatwave is way slower and careful when you guys do this. Doing this does help Cece sleep too. Being rocked in a Fire Truck while you told her a story is luxury in her eyes.
- I do agree, Kade does make fun of Heatwave for this A LOT. When Heatwave is helping Cece fall to sleep by telling her a story he was told in Cybertron, Kade always poke fun. He’s usually teasing and snickering at the sight, saying how much of a softie Heatwave really is. All Heatwave could do is keep rocking Cece and ignore Kade’s antics. (Or Heatwave would just tell him to shut up.)
- You gained a deeper understanding of your lover when Chase told you about the time when the Rescue Bots were assigned to take care of Robo-baby. Chase thought it’d be important to mention that Heatwave does enjoy the company of babies and that you can trust him with one. Not like you did before but it was nice to have some reassurance.

✧ ˚.The Ultimate Study Guide: How to Become a Top-Tier Student ✨📚
Hi besties! 💖 It’s Mindy here, your resident study buddy and glow-up guru at Glowettee. I wanna talk about how to become a top-tier student this upcoming year without losing your sanity—or your vibe. Imagine sipping on a latte, surrounded by pastel notes and cute stationery, feeling like the main character of your academic journey. That’s the energy we’re channeling today. Ready to take your study game from blah to iconic? Hopefully these tips could help prepare for the second semester!
1. Active Recall and Spaced Repetition Hacks
Okay, so here’s the deal: simply reading your notes is not the move. You’ve got to make your brain work a little harder to really soak in all that info.
Active recall: Write down questions from your notes and try answering them without looking. This forces your brain to actually retrieve the information (and helps you remember it longer!).
Spaced repetition: Spread out your study sessions instead of cramming. Use apps like Anki or Quizlet to create digital flashcards that you review over time. Bonus: Anki is super aesthetic if you customize the fonts and colors. 🌸
2. How to Make Study Sessions Feel Luxurious
Studying doesn’t have to feel like a chore, babe. Here’s how to romanticize the grind:
Set the mood: Light a candle, play soft lofi beats, and wear your coziest silk robe. (Yes, the fancy one.)
Aesthetic setup: Use pastel highlighters, cute pens, and a clean desk space. Your desk should feel like a Pinterest board come to life.
Snacks & drinks: Treat yourself to something yummy like matcha lattes or chocolate-covered almonds. A chic study session is fueled by snacks, trust me. 🍵
3. Step-by-Step Pomodoro Method Breakdown for Focus
Pomodoro is basically magic for productivity. Here’s how to do it:
Set a timer for 25 minutes and work on one task. (Pro tip: Choose something specific, like summarizing one chapter.)
Take a 5-minute break after each session. Stretch, grab a sip of water, or scroll Pinterest for inspo.
Repeat four times, then take a longer 20-30 minute break. Use this time to dance around your room or journal—it’s all about balance.
🦢 ✧ ˚.Why it works: Breaking your tasks into bite-sized chunks makes studying less overwhelming and way more manageable. Plus, the breaks keep you refreshed and motivated.🦢 ✧ ˚.
4. Best Apps for Studying
Bestie, your phone doesnt have to be a distraction—it can be your ultimate study tool. Here are my faves:
Notion: Perfect for organizing your study schedule and creating dreamy, color-coded notes. You can even add cute icons and headers to make it so aesthetic. (SPOILER!! I'll be making some soon for you guys!!)
Quizlet: Great for flashcards and testing yourself on key terms. Bonus: You can use other people’s study sets if you’re short on time.
Anki: Ideal for mastering those tough subjects (hello, bio and chem!). The spaced repetition feature is a lifesaver for long-term retention.
Forest: Keeps you off your phone by growing virtual trees while you study. The guilt of killing your tree will keep you focused, I promise. 🌳
5. How to Romanticize School and Make It Fun
Here’s the tea: school doesn’t have to be boring. Treat every class like a stepping stone to your dream life.
Dress the part: Show up like the best-dressed main character. Think Blair Waldorf vibes but comfy—plaid skirts, cozy cardigans, and knee-high socks are always a win.
Curate your supplies: Invest in cute stationery, a pastel planner, and maybe even a monogrammed tote bag. If it feels luxurious, you’ll want to use it.
Celebrate small wins: Finished a chapter? Reward yourself with a TikTok break or a face mask. You deserve it.
Shift your mindset: Instead of dreading school, think of it as part of your glow-up. Every essay, test, or project is one step closer to the 🦢 ✧ ˚.elite🦢 ✧ ˚. version of you.
Final Thoughts
You’ve got this, babe. Becoming a top-tier student is about working smarter, not harder—and looking cute while doing it. Make your study sessions a vibe, stay consistent with these hacks, and watch your grades (and confidence) skyrocket. Remember: You’re not just studying for school; you’re building the foundation for your dream life. 💕
Let me know how you’re leveling up your study game in the comments or tags! And don’t forget to tag @glowettee if you post your aesthetic study setups—I’d love to see them. ✨
Xoxo, Mindy/Glowettee 🌸

Hob Gadling is good looking, fun-loving, and has a certain charm of his own, but he's never been the smartest. One day, he ends up - through no fault of his own -
In jail.
(the real murderer needed a fall guy, and Hob was just too trusting, risk-confident and convenient.)
Hob is stunned by his misfortune, but there's no time to mope. He's by no means a hardened criminal, and he's heard enough horror stories about life in prison for softies like him. He needs to find a way to survive, stat.
He gets into prison and immediately starts asking around for the gang leader in here. If he can offer his services, the gang leader might find him useful enough to keep him untouched. He figures that it's probably the only way to get some protection in here. But from the way several people eye him up and down, top to bottom, lingering as if assessing him for themselves before they shrug and offer up the name, Hob gets a bad feeling about exactly what it is the gang leader might want from him.
There's no dispute over who's on top - there's not even a second runner-up. Hob hears the same name over and over again, each time in that hushed, fearful tone that borders on reverence. Apparently even the most brutal guards are civil with him. And although Hob starts to get second thoughts through second hand fear alone, his overzealous cell mate Matthew, probably hoping to get some spillover protection, all but shoves him into an introductory meeting before he can clarify his plan. Hob ends up staring mutely at a tall, very handsome man with golden hair and a smile like a knife. Hob swallows hard and the words stick in his throat. The fucker's wearing sunglasses in prison, for god's sake. He's scary enough, but then Matthew clears his throat and clarifies that that's not the top guy. That's just the Corinthian. Hob needs his approval if he wants to meet the boss.
"Hey there, little cow. Heard you were trying to get a meeting with Dream of the Endless."
Hob nods mutely, not trusting himself to speak. Hopefully it's the Corinthian who's actually the scary one, and not Dream.
---
Dreamling prison AU because I can't help thinking that shot-caller Dream would be a fantastic spin on his canon imprisonment!
I'm now completely and totally obsessed with this anon, thank you so much.
The Corinthian gives Hob a proper once over. Walks around him in a circle, feels him up through his assigned prison uniform. At last he hums, considering, and tilts his head on one side. He can see that Hob is fresh meat, that he probably won't last long without protection. And that's a good thing - it'll make him so much more grateful and easy to manipulate. So he agrees to let Hob see Dream for a little tete-a-tete.
Dream has his own cell, of course. It's full of contraband items. He's smoking a cigarette when Hob comes in, and scrolling on a phone. He gives Hob this long, cool look, like he's just a spek of dirt. Hob takes the hint and gets on his knees. This makes Dream smile slightly. Usually those who come to him for protection are not so pretty, or so willing to submit.
Hob desperately tries to wrack his brains for a way that he could be useful to this powerful, beautiful creature. But... he's not scary or big enough to be muscle, like the Corinthian. He's not clever enough to help Dream’s "business" inside the prison. He can only resign himself to offering up his body. Which doesn't seem like such a terrible thing. Dream is gorgeous, sitting like a king in his cloud of cigarette smoke.
Now he's known to be Dream’s "wife", nobody bothers Hob - in fact, they avoid him. It's a relief to know that he'll eventually make it out with his pretty face intact. A life sentence of bouncing on Dream’s cock doesn't sound so bad either... its a very nice cock, and Dream himself has a beautiful heart under his slightly terrifying exterior. Of course it would be terribly stupid to fall in love with him, but... Hob has never been the smartest. That's why he's there in the first place.
One thing's for sure - if Dream ever manages to escape prison, he's definitely taking Hob with him.

i’m probably bedridden until monday with my stomach bug so now is a perfect opportunity to start truthing about local-Lebanon-cryptid jack. for starters, i think jack would really fit those spooky Reddit videos on YouTube about strange encounters with people that were so strange it left the person wondering if they’d met something entirely nonhuman.
like, every time he’s spotted in town, he’s doing some relatively normal stuff—“grocery”shopping (if beer and candy bars count as groceries, anyways), hanging out in a diner, etc. nothing he does is out of the ordinary, and again he’s very friendly and approachable, but he’s still just. Off.
he always shows up seemingly out of nowhere, with no car or ride to be seen
he either never has any ID on him, or has ID that changes every time he shows up, with the same face and a different name (one that oddly matches a famous person each time, too).
he always has this underlying nervousness about his demeanor too, like he’s trying not to get caught with something, or like he’s trying to avoid the conversation going to a specific place, but there’s almost never anything that it could be. and then there’s the fact that, when it comes to anything pop-culture-y, or any news about the world, he seems genuinely unaware of everything. he could rattle on about some pretty dated movies he watches “at home” (wherever that is, bc all he says is that it’s ‘outside of town’ ), or the even more dated classic rock records he owns in his room, but he wouldn’t be able to tell you one artist on the radio or anything else like that. he talks about it all like an alien who just discovered what Hollywood is and is very pleased to be learning so much about the planet.
overall he seems too normal, too innocuous, like he’s trying way too hard to put on that appearance and is constantly worried that somewhere, somehow at some point the “illusion” will shatter. what’s decidedly strange, is that for all his lacking in most of the normal world, he seems to know quite a bit about everything else — monsters, the occult, magic, theology, crime cases, even dead languages and cultural rituals. he doesn’t seem like he ever went to school for any of these subjects, but he’s well educated nonetheless. whenever you get the conversation over to any of these topics he loses the awkward, cringy disposition and goes on forever. “how does he know all this?”you’re very likely to ask. “well,” he’ll say, with more of the awkward refrain again, “it’s sort of my family’s business.” but will he indulge on what exactly that business is? no. it’s one of those suspicious conversations you can tell he’s trying to avoid.
In fact, he won’t even really go into detail about who his family is, aside from the fact that it’s comprised of 3 other men all living out of town together, whom he sometimes watches old movies with on Tuesday’s. but the only people you know of that live on the outskirts of Lebanon are those creepy middle-aged guys with the classic black car and shotguns who are also supposedly serial killers. and one of your classmates, max, actually met them all — supposedly her meeting with two of the older guys involved John Wayne Gacy’s ghost trapped in a box, but she absolutely refuses to talk about what happened with this “Jack” guy. her and her girlfriend Stacey. as if that isn’t weird enough, on the occasion that jack happens to cross paths with the two, he supposedly goes out of his way to avoid them, but seems visibly more distraught about it. unfortunately, much like them, he won’t talk about it either.
all in all, ever since this “jack” guy and his “family” popped up outside Lebanon, weirder and weirder shit has kept happening. and not just deja vu weird, like. Horror Movie weird. creature sightings, the dead rising from their graves, whatever else you can think of—and one thing’s for certain. no matter what, that “family” is always at the scene of the crime, jo matter how much they like to keep their distance from the rest of the town.
#cal.txt#spn#supernatural#jack kline#spn headcanons#if not just carnal posting bc what else can i do#tfw2.0#castiel#dean winchester#sam winchester#guess what I spent all day binging bc Im too weak to be physically active

Dance with me.
Daryl Dixon x Reader -Fluff
---------------------------------------------------------
You hum to a song you've heard many times while sewing a hole up in Daryl's jeans, the sound of rain lightly thumping on the outside of your house giving the moment that extra bit of comfort. You hear shuffling coming from the bedroom and softly smile to yourself, wishing you could see that face he makes when he wakes up and locks eyes with you. You hear the creak of the door then a yawn, “You up already?” You nod and smile, “I was going to do my yard work but..” you gesture to the rainy window, “Thought I'd save it for later. When I won't get covered in rain and mud. I decided to patch up your jeans for now.” He lightly huffs. You giggle, “What?” He walks behind you and loosely wraps his arms around you, resting his chin on the top of your head.
“You don't gotta do that for me.” You shrug, “I want to, and with how you usually come back from runs they could use the extra support before they get totally ruined..” he doesn't really respond, he just gently squeezed you, then buries his face in your neck, you slightly tilt your head so he has more room, and you run your fingers through his hair. “You know what, I don't think I've ever seen you dance.” He lifts his head slightly, “What?” You hum softly, “The music reminds me of old timey couples dancing, then I realized I don't think I've ever seen you dance.” He loosens his hold on you. “Y’wanna see me dance?” you nod, finished sewing up the hole. “I’d like that, so..will you dance with me?” He starts to protest but when he sees your hopeful smile he can't refuse.
“Alright. Sure.” You excitedly kiss him and stand up holding out your hands. “Full disclosure..I don't know how to dance.” He chuckles, “Nah, I don't either.” The two of you laugh and give it a go, while it's clumsy and you step on him twice, eventually you get down what resembles a peaceful dance. He holds you close, his hands comfortably resting on your waist, and your arms loosely wrapped around his neck as you sway side to side. “Now all I need to see next is you dancing to something not classical..like pop or something!” He huffs, “Nah, no way.” You burst out laughing and he kisses you sweetly, pulling back slightly, your foreheads together, eyes locked together.
“I love you.” He says softly, you never will get over how sweet those words sound coming from a by all appearances, a rugged guy like him. Though you never really saw him the way some people usually did. “I love you too, thank you for dancing with me..” you hold him tightly and hold his hands. “But seriously, I need to see you dance to something like hip hop.” You whisper, he kisses your forehead, “Still, nah.” you sigh, “Worth a try.~” You two sit at the table and start discussing the day's plans as the rain starts to slow.
------------------------------------------------------------
Writer's notes: I am so sorry I dropped off the face of the earth for like over a month or something, Trapped pt. 2 is being written right now, I hope this short sweetness is enough to hold y'all over till later today! I will be posting a lot more as I have gotten my mood and motivation back up. Thank you for reading, have a good day or night. I hope you all had happy holidays. :)

A Ramble about X-Men
I’m a pretty big Marvel comics fan. I’ve had a Marvel Unlimited Subscription since the pandemic and I’ve pretty much run the gamut of heroes. Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Fantastic Four, Peter Parker Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales Spider-Man, Spider-Girl, Quasar, Thor, Eternals, Hawkeye, Howard the Duck, What if?, Deadpool, I could go on forever. And I can pick a run for each of these characters that I specifically clicked with a certain author and the themes they chose.
Except X-Men.
Which is ironic, because I love the X-Men shows, the characters, their major themes, their designs, their movies. Heck it’s not like I haven’t read most of Claremont’s run and beyond.
But I’ve never had a run that actually fully clicked with me, and I kinda wanted to ramble about why. No idea if this will be a series or whatever.
Chris Claremont
Admittedly I’ve never really been one to seek out every single spinoff of a series so most of my experience with the “golden age” of X-Men is with the mainline Uncanny X-Men rather than stuff like the New Mutants. I know it’s sacrilege in some circles not to go in full chronological order with the spinoff series bouncing between but I’m just not that way.
Anyways while Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created the blueprint for what would define X-Men on a fundamental level, Chris Claremont would be the author who made the heroes popular. Storm, Colossus, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Banshee … Sunfire, Thunderbird … okay not all of them stuck. But Claremont would write iconic stories that are beloved and I love as well such as the OG Giant Size X-Men comic, Proteus, Days of Future Past, God Loves, Man Kills, and the Dark Phoenix Saga. Stuff that truly gets to the heart of the X-Men fighting against discrimination and hate, proving they deserve a chance to live as they want.
Then that should settle it! I like Chris Claremont, then! These are the most iconic storylines that means I love the most iconic incarnation of the X-Men.
Not really.
Chris Claremont founded a lot of good ideas that would be the springboard used by other authors in years to come. But it’s not as though his stint was as brief as Lee/Kirby or Roy Thomas.
16 years.
And most of what I mentioned is spread far across the first 8.
So what about the bits in-between?
Well, if I had to describe the majority of Claremont’s writing as X-Men outside of these storylines is that it’s kinda a roulette wheel.
This was back in the day where you had to have some bonkers concepts to hook the reader in. Vampires, sci-fi tech, aliens, gods, demons, etc. And most of the time Chris chose a random one to analyze the X-Men under and reevaluate how they can be used for the X-Men’s explicit purpose of fighting against discrimination and promoting equality and diversity.
Which often leads to those aforementioned storylines where they build on this very well. X-Men vs Televangelism does go out into creating weird devices to mind control people but it’s all in service to the team’s message. The bad future the sentinels create in Days of Future Past can easily be seen as a dystopian future where discrimination is normalized.
However sometimes Chris can’t help himself and adds more layers of insanity to the plot, to the point the message kinda gets lost in the mix.
Here’s an example.
X-Men go mysteriously missing, only for Beast to find them working at a circus freak show. Interesting. Leads back to the idea of them being demoralized and treated as freaks rather than real people.
Beast does some snooping around, finding that Magneto is the mastermind behind this. Perhaps he’s trying to humiliate the X-Men and get them to give up their hope for equality seeing how humanity makes fun of them while also getting revenge because he’s the bad guy.
They fight Magneto but are bested in combat. It’s then revealed that Magneto, after being turned into a baby in a previous comic did want revenge, so he took the X-Men to his Antarctic base to … mentally regress them into babies and torture them with a nanny bot.
Huh?
And I’d be lying if I said this sort of weird progression isn’t a repeating theme.
X-Men go to space to fight aliens; makes sense because all the other heroes were fighting aliens so they gotta prove they’re on the level. Alien fighting leads into them meeting Xenomorph-like aliens that slowly transform the X-Men into them; drama is created. X-Men escape but still are transforming, so Storm befriends a space whale and then becomes one to cure everyone; buh?!?!
Like I feel like some of these stories increase the insanity progressively but they go a little step too far. Sometimes it’s just out of nowhere like when demons kidnap the X-Men even though they were never hinted before to care about them, and somehow age up Magik to an adult. Or just Storm becomes a vampire suddenly even though last issue there was nothing even slightly referencing vampires.
It’s kind of a curse because X-Men is constantly trying to get bigger and bigger under Claremont but sometimes you’d prefer it just to take it slow and get back to the more straight forward connections to fighting oppression and discrimination.
Ironically it causes me to appreciate the more mundane moments that aren’t trying to be huge plot twists one on top of each other. Stuff like Kitty Pryde and Storm hanging out, going to Japan and getting to know Wolverine better, Nightcrawler trying to socialize more, and just Beast’s witty banter.
But even that can be a little fumbled at times because well,
Chris Claremont is a straight white guy.
And there’s nothing wrong with that at all. But you can tell he has hang-ups trying to write about race or women because he doesn’t really have those experiences. Therefore, sometimes when he tries to write soliloquies and romances (which is pretty common), sometimes it can fall flat because of his perspective.
There is a lot of romance and relationship drama in X-Men, which is understandable and needed for the narrative. But so much becomes either bland, unintentionally problematic, or just too brief to make any true impact.
I’d say the biggest exception is Jean/Cyclops because they’ve been established for years and it’s very clear they care about each other. However, Jean dies in Dark Phoenix (at least that was the intent of the time) so a lot of the time the series bounces between other couples.
He later meets and then marries Madelyne Pryor, who is noted to look nearly identical to Jean. However that just makes things awkward as Madelyne often plays the role of “Not-Jean.” It at least has an interesting through line of him working through his grief, but little time is actually given for Madelyne’s own agency to break out of “Not-Jean,” which makes it really awkward when it’s revealed she’s a clone of Jean and Jean was alive all this time. So … what was the point?
Charles Xavier has so many love interests but often times he comes off as a jerk. Moira MacTaggart, Liliandra … even at one point Jean herself but everyone buries this for good reason. He comes off as very manipulative both to his partner and the X-Men. Charles is very unsympathetic to Moira’s predicament in raising Proteus. Liliandra he’s willing to bend over backwards for even if it means that he’s breaking his own morals in the process. And we don’t talk about Jean. However this would mostly be used by other authors to analyze how good of a leader Charles is, and more of his flaws. Meanwhile, Chris Claremont normalizes his behavior and rarely calls him out on it.
Colossus and Kitty Pryde.
What can I say about them? Colossus is an adult, Kitty Pryde is still a kid. It’s gross, but Chris wants you to really know they love each other more than a brother-and-sister relationship would. And they even point out it’s creepy, yet they still do it anyways.
Wolverine is entirely a whole other can of worms that I could write about separately.
Ironically some of the relationships that aren’t confirmed because of the times but are implied like Mystique and Destiny or Storm and Stevie are actually a lot better and written with much more nuance. However again nothing is confirmed and could be left to interpretation such as with Storm and Stevie. After all they do try to pair up these characters in straight couples … problematically but still.
Ultimately I feel like Claremont does have a lot of good ideas but the execution of them is where the ball is dropped. I would never call his run bad but I’ve never really felt compelled to return to it. I can’t deny the impact it’s made by any measure. However, returning to the originals just makes you wonder, how did some of this lead to Claremont’s X-Men being held up as an absolute gold standard comic?
I don’t know this was a long rant and I dunno if I’ll do it again. If you liked this let me know

The dimly lit bar feels like a scene out of someone else’s life. The hum of conversation buzzes around you, but it feels distant, muffled by the tightening knot in your stomach. You shift uncomfortably on the barstool, your fingers tracing the condensation on your glass. Across from you sits Wooseok—your blind date. A guy who seemed charming over texts but now drips with an arrogance so thick it could coat the walls.
“So,” he says, leaning back arrogantly, his smirk as cocky as his tone. “You into sports? Or are you one of those artsy types?”
You force a smile, trying to mask the irritation clawing at you. “A little of both, I guess.”
His laugh is sharp, dismissive. “Yeah, I heard that one before. Bet you love yoga or something, right? All that ‘namaste’ crap.”
Oh god. You glance at your half-empty drink, wishing it were stronger, faster. Anything to numb this awkwardness. Why did you agree to this? Why didn’t you just ghost him when his condescension became clear over text? But no, you’d been raised too well for that. Too polite. Too much of a people-pleaser. And now here you are, stuck.
He picks up the thread again, his voice rising above the ambient noise. “Anyway, I’m more of a gym guy. You know, real fitness. Not that flaky stuff. Gotta stay in shape, especially if you want to keep up with me.”
You nod absently, your eyes darting across the room. Relief floods through you as you spot Yangyang, the cute frat boy from your class. He’s sitting with a group of friends a few tables over, laughing and sipping beers. His smile lights up the room, and you feel a pang of longing.
If only this were a date with him.
As if sensing your gaze, Yangyang glances over. Their eyes meet, and for a moment, everything else fades away. His lips curl into a reassuring half-smile, and you feel a flutter of hope. Maybe—just maybe—he’ll save you from this nightmare.
But then your date leans closer, his cologne overpowering even the faint smell of beer and smoke. “So, what do you say we get out of here? Maybe grab some dessert? My treat, of course.”
His tone is smooth, almost too smooth, and there’s something in his eyes that makes your skin crawl. You open your mouth to decline, but the words catch in your throat. Before you can muster a response, Yangyang stands up, his attention shifting fully to you.
“Y/N!” he calls out, his voice warm and playful. “How’s it going?”
Your date frowns, his annoyance obvious. “Who’s this guy?”
You feel a surge of gratitude as Yangyang approaches, his presence radiating confidence.
“I’m Yangyang,” he says, extending his hand to your date. “A friend of hers. Classmate, actually.”
Your date shakes his hand reluctantly, his jaw tight. “Nice to meet you.”
Yangyang’s grin widens, and he turns to you, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “You weren’t answering my texts earlier, so I figured I’d come find you. What’s the deal? Having fun?”
You blink, caught off guard by the sudden shift. But then you realize—he’s giving you an out. A way to escape this unbearable situation. “Oh, uh… yeah, sure. It’s been… interesting.”
Yangyang chuckles, his gaze flicking between you and your date. “Well, I hate to interrupt, but we’ve got that group project meeting tomorrow, and I need to go over some notes with you. You free to head out now?”
There’s a pause, and you can practically see the gears turning in your date’s head. Finally, he straightens up, his pride clearly wounded. “Sounds like you’ve got plans. Guess I’ll let you go.”
You stand quickly, relief washing over you. “Thanks for… uh, dinner? Drinks? This.”
He snorts, shaking his head. “Yeah, no problem. Have fun with your… homework.”
Yangyang steps closer, his arm brushing yours as he guides you toward the exit. “Don’t be rude, man. Have a good night.”
“Thank you,” you whisper, once you’re out of earshot.
Yangyang grins, his dimples deepening. “No problem. Couldn’t let you suffer through that alone. You looked like you needed rescuing.”
You laugh softly, the tension easing slightly. “You have no idea. How did you even know it was me?”
“Oh, I saw you walk in earlier,” he admits, his voice lowering. “Figured I’d wait a bit, see how things went. When things got weird, I knew I had to intervene.”
You glance at him, your cheeks heating. “That’s… kind of amazing, actually.”
He shrugs, looking away briefly. “Happens to the best of us. Anyway, you okay? Want to grab some coffee or something? My treat.”
Your heart skips a beat. Coffee? With him?
“I’d like that,” you say, your voice barely above a whisper.
You both step outside, the cool night air hitting your faces. Yangyang walks close enough that both of your arms brush occasionally, sending shivers down your spine.
“So,” he says, his tone light but teasing. “What’s next?”
You turn to him, your pulse quickening. “Depends,” you reply, feeling bold suddenly. “What do you want to do?”
“Funny you should ask,” he whispers, his voice low and husky. He meets your gaze, his eyes dark and intense. “Because I’ve been thinking about this all night.”
Before you can respond, he steps closer, his breath warm against your cheek. “Do you trust me?” he asks, his voice barely audible.
You swallow hard, your heart racing. “Yes.”
He smiles faintly, his hand reaching out to lightly touch your waist. “Good. Because I don’t wanna take this slow.”
And then, without waiting for an answer, he presses his lips to yours. His kiss lingers on your lips, a sweet, dizzying sensation that makes your knees weak. You glance up at him, his dark hair catching the faint glow of the streetlights, and he grins, a playful glint in his eyes.
“So,” he says, his voice light but teasing, “coffee? Or do you want to see if I can make this even more interesting?”
You laugh softly, feeling a strange mix of nerves and excitement. The date with Wooseok feels like a distant nightmare now, washed away by Yangyang’s effortless charm.
“Coffee sounds good,” you reply, tilting your head slightly. “But if you’re trying to impress me, you might have to work harder than that.”
He chuckles, the sound low and warm, and nudges you playfully. “Challenge accepted.”
The two of you walk side by side down the dimly lit sidewalk, the quiet hum of the city surrounding you. Yangyang leads you to a small, cozy café tucked away from the main street, its windows glowing warmly. Inside, the air smells of freshly brewed coffee and baked pastries, and the soft murmur of conversation fills the space. A young barista behind the counter glances up with a bright smile as you approach.
“Hey, Yangyang,” the barista says, their tone friendly but subtly flirtatious. “Long time no see. What can I get for you tonight?”
Yangyang smiles back, leaning casually on the counter. “Hey, Ruby. Two coffees, please—something strong. And maybe a slice of that chocolate cake.”
“Coming right up,” Ruby replies, their fingers already moving deftly over the espresso machine.
As Ruby works, Yangyang turns to you, his expression shifting to one of curiosity.
“So,” he begins, his voice dropping just enough to feel intimate in the bustling café, “what made you agree to a blind date with him? He seemed… not your type.”
You sigh, shaking your head as you think back to Jake’s arrogance. “I don’t know. I guess I thought it was worth giving it a shot? But yeah, he was… not my type. At all.”
Yangyang nods, his gaze lingering on you as if he’s trying to read something deeper. “Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. Not when you’ve got me around.”
His words send a shiver down your spine, and you meet his gaze, feeling a sudden intensity in the air between you. Before you can respond, Ruby sets down two steaming mugs on the counter, each topped with a swirl of foam.
“Here you go,” Ruby says, sliding the plate with the chocolate cake toward you. “Enjoy.”
“Thanks,” Yangyang says, taking the mugs and handing one to you. “Let’s grab a table.”
You follow him to a small corner booth, the dim lighting casting shadows that make the space feel private. As you sit across from him, the warmth of the mug in your hands contrasts with the coolness of the night outside. Yangyang takes a slow sip of his coffee, watching you over the rim of his cup.
“So,” he says again, setting his mug down carefully, “tell me something about yourself. Something real.”
You raise an eyebrow, feeling both amused and intrigued by his directness. “Something real? What kind of question is that?”
He shrugs, leaning back in his seat, his posture relaxed but his eyes sharp. “You seem like someone who doesn’t open up easily. So, I’m curious. What’s something most people wouldn’t know about you?”
Your heart skips a beat at the question, and you shift uncomfortably, unsure how much you want to reveal. But there’s something about the way Yangyang looks at you—calm, attentive, and genuine—that makes it hard to resist.
“Okay,” you say slowly, picking at the edge of the cake with your fork. “I… write poetry. Like, really bad stuff, mostly. But it helps me process things.”
Yangyang’s lips curl into a slow, appreciative smile. “That’s pretty cool. Do you ever show it to anyone?”
You shake your head, feeling a flush rise to your cheeks. “No. It’s just… for me. Private.”
He nods thoughtfully, his gaze never leaving yours. “Fair enough. Maybe one day, though, you’ll let me read some. If you want to.”
The suggestion hangs in the air, heavy with possibility, and you find yourself wondering what it would be like to share that part of yourself with him. Before you can dwell on it too much, Yangyang reaches across the table, his fingers brushing lightly against yours.
“You don’t have to answer that,” he says softly, his touch sending tingles up your arm. “But I hope you know I’d listen. To anything you wanted to say.”
You swallow hard, feeling the heat of his words settle deep in your chest.
“Why are you being so nice to me?” you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
Yangyang’s expression shifts, a flicker of something raw crossing his face before it settles into a gentle smile.
“Maybe because I like you,” he admits, his voice low and sincere. “And maybe because I saw the way he was treating you, and I couldn’t stand it. I wanted to fix it. For you.”
The honesty in his words leaves you breathless, and you realize, with a jolt, that you’ve been holding onto so much tension since the start of the night. With him, though, it’s different. Easier. Like you can finally exhale.
“You didn’t have to do that,” you say quietly.
“Yeah, I did,” he replies, his voice firm but warm. “Because you deserve better than that. And if you’ll let me, I’d like to show you how much better.”
The sincerity in his tone catches you off guard, and you find yourself nodding slowly, a knot of emotion tightening in your throat.
“Okay,” you manage to say, your voice shaky.
Yangyang’s smile returns, brighter this time, and he leans forward, his hand slipping beneath the table to rest on your thigh. The contact sends a spark through you, and you bite your lip, glancing up at him with uncertainty.
“I really like you, Y/N,” he murmurs, his voice filled with promise. "Tell me if I’m moving too fast.”
Your pulse quickens, and you feel the weight of his hand on your leg, warm and deliberate. “You don’t waste any time, do you?”
He laughs softly, his breath feathering against your cheek as he closes the distance between you. “Like I said before, I don’t wanna take this slow.”
And then his lips are on yours again, soft and insistent, pulling a quiet gasp from deep within you. His hand tightens slightly on your thigh, drawing you even closer, and you melt into the kiss, your fingers curling into the fabric of his hoodie.
The world seems to fade away, leaving only the two of you and the electric hum of connection. His tongue traces the curve of your bottom lip, and you part your mouth willingly, deepening the kiss until you’re both breathless. When he finally pulls back, his eyes are dark with desire, and he presses his forehead against yours, his breath hot and uneven.
“God, you’re incredible,” he whispers, his voice ragged. You don’t have the chance to respond before he speaks again, his voice thick with urgency. “We should go somewhere quieter. Somewhere we can focus on each other.”
Yangyang’s hand slips into yours, his fingers interlacing with yours as he leads you out of the café. The cool night air nips at your skin, but his touch is warm and grounding, a steady anchor in the otherwise chaotic evening. His hoodie swishes against his jeans as he walks, and you can feel the faint hum of excitement radiating off him.
“Where are we going?” you ask, your voice just above a whisper, curious and a little nervous.
He glances at you, his smile soft and mischievous. “Trust me?”
You hesitate for only a moment before nodding. “Yeah.”
He squeezes your hand tighter, like he’s trying to reassure you without saying it aloud. And then he breaks into a light jog, tugging you along with him. You don’t question it, following his lead with a laugh bubbling up in your chest. There’s something freeing about running through the streets with him, letting go of all the awkwardness and tension from earlier tonight.
The park comes into view after a few minutes, its gates already closed for the night. But Yangyang doesn’t seem fazed. He pulls you along the iron fence until he finds a small gap where a section of bars has rusted and bent outward.
“Shortcut,” he says with a wink, crouching down to slip through first. You hesitate again, looking around nervously. The park is eerily quiet, the shadows of trees stretching across the ground like skeletal hands. But Yangyang sticks his head back through the gap, his eyes bright and encouraging. “Come on, I promise it’s worth it.”
Swallowing your doubts, you duck through the gap after him, brushing dirt off your jeans as you straighten up. Yangyang takes your hand again, guiding you deeper into the park, away from the well-lit paths and toward the darker, more secluded areas. The crunch of leaves underfoot grows louder, and the scent of damp earth fills the air.
Finally, he stops near a large oak tree, its branches twisted and gnarled, reaching out like they’re trying to embrace the sky. The moonlight filters through the gaps in the canopy above, casting dappled patterns on the ground. It’s quiet here—peaceful, almost magical.
"Here?" You asked.
"Yeah," Yangyang nods. "Look up."
You tilt your head back, feeling a rush of awe as you take in the view. The stars glitter against a dark blue background, like tiny pinpricks of light in an infinite canvas. The air feels clear and fresh here, free from the noise of the city, and the wind rustles softly through the trees, adding to the serenity.
"I wanted to bring you to my spot," Yangyang murmurs. "Where I go when everything gets too much. When the world feels overwhelming."
You looked at him. "I'm sure you bring other girls here."
"Nah," he replies, a flicker of regret crossing his eyes. "I came here before I even joined the frat. Back when it was just me, getting by on scholarships and part-time jobs."
You reach for his hand, running your thumb along his knuckles gently. "You had a tough time?"
He smiles sadly. "Yeah. And even now, when I've got help with tuition and the whole student life deal... the pressures are still there, you know?"
It's strange to hear him talking like this, opening himself up to you. It feels vulnerable and intimate. You take a tentative step towards him. "I think I can relate. Even though I have a scholarship and good parents, I still have to balance work, studying and finding time for social life, and it can be a lot."
Yangyang nods, and you can tell he understands. He tilts his head, searching your face as he searches his next words. "What would help you deal with all that?"
The question takes you by surprise. You think it over carefully. "Spending time with friends. Releasing emotions through writing. Watching tv." You look back up at the stars and try again. "But the thing that helps most, the most soothing thing for me, is just going somewhere alone, listening to nature or the city. Finding somewhere peaceful and calming."
"Somewhere like here?" He asks.
"Yeah," you sigh contentedly. "I haven't found somewhere quite like it, though."
His hands settle on your hips as he pulls you in for a sweet, lingering kiss, his teeth lightly grazing your lower lip. You smile against his lips, and the butterflies in your stomach turn into something wild. He backs you up against the trunk of the tree, his body flush with yours, and you can't help but run your hands up his neck and into his soft, dark curls. The moonlight illuminates his face, revealing the hunger in his gaze. You close your eyes as he trails kisses down your neck, sending a thrill up your spine. He lifts his head and searches your gaze again.
God, he tastes so good, you think, your mind hazy with desire. His flavor is sweet, like the coffee you shared earlier, but there’s an undercurrent of something wild and untamed, something that sets your pulse racing even faster.
When he pulls back, his breath comes out in uneven puffs, his chest rising and falling rapidly. “Fuck,” he mutters, leaning his forehead against yours. “I’ve wanted to do that since the first day I saw you in class.”
Your lips curve into a smile, giddy and breathless. “Really?”
He nods, his curls bouncing slightly. “Every time you walked into the room, I couldn’t focus on anything else. You have no idea how many times I almost asked you out, but I kept chickening out.”
You laugh softly, your fingers tracing the line of his jaw. “Well, I’m glad you finally did.”
“Me too,” he says, his voice low and gravelly. Then his lips are on yours again, softer this time, more deliberate. His hands roam down your sides, slipping beneath the hem of your shirt to rest on the bare skin of your lower back. The coolness of the night air contrasts sharply with the warmth of his palms, sending a shiver up your spine.
You press closer to him, your own hands fumbling with the zipper of his hoodie. When you pull it down, he shrugs it off his shoulders, tossing it aside without a second thought. Underneath, he’s wearing a plain white T-shirt that clings to his torso, outlining the muscles you only catch glimpses of during class. Your fingers dip beneath the fabric, skimming across his skin, feeling the tautness of his stomach beneath your touch.
He groans into your mouth, his body tensing under your exploration. “Jesus,” he breathes, his hands gripping your hips tightly. “You’re killing me.”
You smirk against his lips, feeling a surge of confidence. “Is that a bad thing?”
“No,” he growls, pulling you even closer. “Not even close.”
His hands move higher, sliding up your ribcage until they’re cupping your breasts over your bra. You arch into his touch, a needy sound escaping your throat. His thumb brushes across your nipple, teasing it into a hard peak, and you gasp, your head tilting back as pleasure shoots through you.
“Yangyang…” you murmur, half-pleading, half-whining.
He presses a quick series of kisses along your jawline, his breath hot against your skin. “Tell me what you want,” he says, his voice thick with hunger.
You bite your lip, suddenly shy. “I…”
He grins, his teeth flashing in the dim light. “That’s okay. Let me guess.”
And without waiting for your answer, his hands shift again, one sliding down to palm your ass while the other slips beneath your waistband, his fingertips trailing dangerously close to where you need him most.
Your breath hitches, your whole body trembling with anticipation. “Yangyang…” you say again, this time more urgently.
He pulls back just enough to meet your gaze, his dark eyes gleaming with desire. “Yeah?”
“Please,” you manage to whisper, your voice barely audible.
His answering smile is slow and triumphant. “Anything for you.”
Your breath catches in your throat as Yangyang’s lips press against yours again, this time with a hunger that sends shivers down your spine. His hands move to your hips, pulling you closer until there’s no space left between you. You melt into him, your fingers threading through his dark curls as the world around you fades away. The cool night air is no match for the heat building between you, and you can feel the rapid beat of his heart against your chest.
Just as you’re about to deepen the kiss, a sharp voice cuts through the silence. “Hey! You two! What do you think you’re doing?”
You freeze, your body stiffening as you recognize the authoritative tone. Slowly, you pull away from Yangyang, your eyes widening as you turn toward the source of the noise. A tall, broad-shouldered park ranger stands a few feet away, his arms crossed and his jaw set in disapproval. His uniform fits him like a glove, emphasizing his muscular build, and his sharp, observant gaze locks onto you both.
Yangyang curses under his breath, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment. “Crap,” he mutters, tugging at your hand. “Let’s go. Now.”
Before you can respond, he’s already pulling you deeper into the shadows beneath the tree. Your pulse races as you follow him, the thrill of being caught making your stomach twist in knots. You glance back over your shoulder, your heart pounding as the ranger takes a step closer, his flashlight sweeping across the ground.
“I said stop!” the ranger calls out, his voice echoing through the park.
You press yourself closer to Yangyang, your breaths coming in short bursts. “What do we do?” you whisper, your voice trembling.
Yangyang glances around frantically, his mind working quickly. “We need to lose him,” he says, his eyes darting toward a small trail leading deeper into the park. “Come on, let’s go this way.”
Without waiting for your response, he drags you along the path, his grip firm but reassuring. The trees close in around you, their branches creating a natural barrier from the ranger’s view. You stumble slightly, the uneven ground making it difficult to keep up, but Yangyang’s hand stays locked around yours, guiding you forward.
The sound of heavy footsteps grows louder behind you, and you can hear the ranger muttering under his breath. “Kids these days… always causing trouble,” he grumbles, his frustration evident.
Yangyang smirks despite the situation, his playful nature peeking through. “Don’t worry,” he whispers, squeezing your hand. “We’ll give him the slip.”
You can’t help but laugh nervously, the tension between you and Yangyang growing stronger with every step. As you round a corner, Yangyang pulls you into a dense bush, muffling your laughter with his hand. You hold your breath as the ranger’s flashlight beam passes by, illuminating the leaves around you momentarily.
When the light disappears, Yangyang releases a shaky laugh. “That was close,” he says, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
You nod, your heart still racing from the adrenaline. “Too close,” you agree, your voice barely above a whisper.
Yangyang’s gaze softens as he looks at you, his playful demeanor melting into something more serious. “You okay?” he asks, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
You nod again, feeling a warmth spread through you at his concern. “Yeah,” you say, smiling faintly. “Just… a little shaken.”
He chuckles, his confidence returning. “Well, I guess we showed him, huh?”
You roll your eyes, but the smile on your face doesn’t fade. “I wouldn’t exactly call that showing him.”
Yangyang shrugs, his dimples deepening as he grins. “Close enough. Now…” He pauses, his expression turning mischievous once more. “How about we get out of here before he comes back?”
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his suggestion. “And go where?”
His grin widens, and he steps closer, his breath warm against your cheek. “My place,” he murmurs, his voice low and inviting. “It’s not far. We can be there in ten minutes.”
Your pulse quickens at the thought, a mix of excitement and nervousness bubbling in your chest. Part of you wants to playfully protest, to tease him about his boldness, but the other part—the part that’s been drawn to him since the moment he walked into your life—is already saying yes.
Yangyang must sense your hesitation, because he adds, “I promise, it’ll be worth it.”
You look into his eyes, searching for any hint of insincerity, but all you find is sincerity and a flicker of desire. And maybe, just maybe, a touch of vulnerability. It’s that last part that seals the deal, pushing aside any lingering doubts.
“Okay,” you say softly, your voice barely audible.
His answering smile lights up his entire face, and without another word, he takes your hand and leads you out of the bush, navigating the dimly lit paths of the park with ease. The cool night air brushes against your skin, sending goosebumps down your arms, but Yangyang’s touch keeps you grounded, his presence a steady anchor in the chaos.
As you leave the park behind, the streetlights guide your way, casting long shadows that stretch and shrink with each step. Yangyang’s pace quickens, his excitement palpable, and you can’t help but match it, your own anticipation building with every passing second.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity but is probably only a few minutes, Yangyang stops in front of a modest apartment building. His free hand reaches into his pocket, pulling out a set of keys as he unlocks the door. He ushers you inside, his movements almost frantic with eagerness.
The apartment is cozy, with simple furnishings and a faint scent of laundry detergent and fresh air—just like him. Yangyang leads you to the living room, where he finally lets go of your hand, turning to face you. His chest rises and falls slightly, his breathing still a little uneven from the rush of the escape.
“So,” he says, his voice low and teasing, “what do you think?”
You take a moment to survey the room, your eyes lingering on the small details—the bookshelf filled with textbooks and novels, the worn couch draped with a blanket, the faint hum of a refrigerator in the background. It’s nothing fancy, but it feels lived-in, comfortable. And somehow, that makes it even more appealing.
“It’s nice,” you admit, your voice soft.
Yangyang’s smile returns, warmer now, less playful and more genuine. “Good,” he says simply, stepping closer. “Because I didn’t bring you here just to show you my apartment.”
Your breath hitches as he closes the distance between you, his hands reaching up to cradle your face. His touch is gentle, almost reverent, and you can feel the sincerity in every brush of his fingertips. When his lips meet yours, it’s slow and deliberate, a marked contrast to the urgency of earlier.
This time, there’s no rush, no fear of being interrupted. Just the two of you, lost in the embrace that neither of you seems willing to break.
Yangyang breaks the kiss, his eyes locking with yours. His hands slide down to your shoulders, then lower, tracing the curve of your back until they settle on your hips. The heat between you is palpable, a tangible force that seems to push and pull at the edges of your restraint.
“Do you trust me?” he asks quietly, his voice low and steady.
You nod, though the question sends a shiver through you. Trust. It’s such a simple word, yet it feels so heavy in this moment. You realize, almost suddenly, that you do trust him—completely. There’s something about the way he looks at you, like you’re the only person in the world who matters, that makes it impossible not to.
“Good,” he says, his lips curving into a sly smile. “Because I want to show you something.”
Without waiting for a response, he takes your hand and leads you deeper into his apartment. The hallway is dimly lit, the soft glow of a lamp casting long shadows across the floor. The air is quiet, save for the faint sound of your footsteps and the occasional creak of the wooden floorboards beneath you.
Yangyang guides you to a door at the end of the hall, one you hadn’t noticed before. He pauses for a moment, glancing over his shoulder at you before reaching out to turn the handle. The door swings open with a soft click, revealing a cozy bedroom bathed in the warm light of a bedside lamp.
His bedroom. The thought flutters in your mind, sending a fresh wave of excitement coursing through you. Yangyang steps inside first, pulling you in after him. The door closes softly behind you, sealing the space as your own private world.
The room is simple but inviting, with a large bed taking up most of the space. A pile of pillows rests against the headboard, and a few books are scattered haphazardly on the nightstand. A faint scent of cedar lingers in the air, mingling with the familiar smell of laundry detergent that seems to follow Yangyang everywhere.
He turns to face you, his eyes dark with intent. “I wanted to bring you somewhere… quieter,” he says, his voice barely above a whisper. “Somewhere we could be alone.”
You can feel your heart pounding in your chest, the rhythm accelerating as his words sink in. Alone. The word carries a weight that’s both thrilling and terrifying. You glance around the room, taking in the details—the softness of the carpet underfoot, the warmth of thelighting, the way the shadows seem to dance along the walls. It’s intimate, cocooning, and somehow perfectly fitting for what you know is about to happen.
Yangyang steps closer, his hands settling on your waist again. This time, there’s no hesitation in his touch—just confidence, laced with a tenderness that makes your knees weak. He leans in, brushing his lips against your ear. “You don’t have to say anything,” he murmurs, his breath hot against your skin. “Just let me take care of you.”
The request hangs in the air, a silent promise that sends a jolt of electricity through your veins. You nod again, unable to find the words to respond. Yangyang smiles, a slow, knowing grin that makes your stomach flutter.
With one hand still resting on your waist, he reaches up with the other, sliding his fingers through the loose strands of your hair. The gesture is gentle, almost reverent, as if he’s savoring the texture and weight of it. You close your eyes, tilting your head slightly to give him better access, and feel a soft hum of pleasure ripple through you.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. “I’ve wanted to tell you that since the first day I saw you.”
The confession catches you off guard, sending a rush of warmth flooding through your chest. You open your eyes, meeting his gaze, and see nothing but honesty reflected there. It’s overwhelming, the depth of feeling in his expression, and it leaves you momentarily speechless.
Before you can respond, Yangyang shifts his grip, guiding you toward the bed. His movements are deliberate, each step calculated to draw you further into the moment. When you reach the edge of the mattress, he stops, his hands sliding from your waist to rest on your hips.
“Sit,” he commands softly, his voice a velvety rasp that sends shivers dancing down your spine.
You obey without hesitation, lowering yourself onto the plush comforter. The fabric is soft beneath you, and the faint scent of linen fills your nostrils, adding another layer of sensory overload to the mix. As you settle in, Yangyang kneels beside the bed, his eyes never leaving yours.
For a moment, there’s silence—a charged, electric kind of stillness that seems to hold the weight of everything unsaid between you. Then, slowly, deliberately, Yangyang reaches out, his fingers brushing against the buttons of your shirt.
“May I?” he asks, his voice a teasing half-whisper.
You nod again, your throat too tight to speak. Yangyang grins, his eyes gleaming with mischief, and begins working on the buttons with expert precision. Each pop of the closure seems to echo in the quiet room, a symphony of anticipation that heightens the tension between you.
When the last button slides free, he tugs the fabric apart, revealing the thin layer of lace beneath. Your breath hitches as his eyes flick downward, briefly scanning the sight before returning to your face. “So pretty,” he murmurs, his tone a mix of awe and desire.
Without warning, he leans in, pressing a soft kiss to the hollow of your throat. The sensation is fleeting but insistent, a tease that leaves you yearning for more. You instinctively tilt your head back, giving him better access, and feel a surge of satisfaction when he obliges by trailing kisses along your collarbone.
“Yangyang...” you manage to whisper, your voice trembling with a combination of need and uncertainty.
He pulls back just enough to meet your gaze, his lips curved into a wicked smile. “Shh,” he says gently. “Just let me love you.”
And with that, he resumes his exploration, his hands and mouth working in tandem to unravel every thread of resistance within you.
Yangyang’s hands move with an almost reverent grace as he undresses you, his touch light but deliberate. Each piece of clothing he removes feels like a revelation, not just to him but to you as well. You feel suddenly exposed, yet entirely safe in his presence.
“You’re so beautiful,” he murmurs against your skin, his voice low and gravelly with emotion. His fingers brush against the edge of your bra, hesitating for a moment before carefully unclasping it. The fabric slips away, revealing you to his gaze, and you catch a flicker of awe in his dark eyes.
“You don’t have to say that,” you whisper, your cheeks heating under his intense scrutiny.
Yangyang shakes his head, his smile soft and genuine. “I know what I see,” he says simply. His hands cup your shoulders, thumbs brushing lightly over your collarbones, and you shiver at the tenderness of his touch. “And what I feel… it’s overwhelming.”
He leans in then, his lips finding the sensitive skin just below your ear. A sound escapes you, half-laugh, half-groan, as his teeth graze the lobe gently. His hand trails down your arm, fingertips leaving a trail of fire in their wake before wrapping around your wrist. He guides your hand to his chest, pressing your palm flat against the rapid thudding of his heart.
“Feel that?” he asks, his voice thick with desire. “That’s all you.”
You nod, unable to speak, your own heart pounding in response. Yangyang’s free hand snakes around your waist, pulling you flush against him. The solid warmth of his body against yours is intoxicating, and you cling to him instinctively.
His lips find yours again, this time with a hunger that leaves no room for hesitation. The kiss is deep, consuming, every stroke of his tongue igniting a blaze within you. His hand slides lower, slipping beneath the waistband of your panties, and you gasp into his mouth as his fingers tease the soft curve of your hipbone.
“Yangyang,” you breathe, clutching at his shoulders for balance.
“Tell me what you want,” he rasps, his breath hot against your cheek. His fingers dip lower, brushing against the wetness between your legs, and you clench your thighs together, both resisting and inviting his touch.
“I—” Your voice falters, uncertain, as his fingers ghost over your most sensitive spot. You arch into the sensation, your hips tilting involuntarily.
Yangyang chuckles softly, the sound vibrating through his chest and into your body. “It’s okay,” he murmurs, his tone reassuring. “Take your time. We have all night.”
His words send a shudder through you, a mix of relief and anticipation. You relax slightly, letting go of some of the tension that had been coiled tightly within you. Yangyang takes advantage of your momentary surrender, his fingers sliding back between your legs, this time with purpose.
The first tentative touch makes you jerk, a sharp intake of breath escaping your lips. Yangyang holds still, watching you intently, his expression a blend of concern and arousal. “Too much?” he asks, clearly trying to read your reaction.
You shake your head quickly, your cheeks burning. “No,” you manage to whisper. “Just… unexpected.”
A slow grin spreads across his face, and he resumes his exploration, his fingers tracing delicate patterns against your folds. You bite your lip to stifle a moan, your body responding eagerly to his ministrations.
“So responsive,” he murmurs, his voice dripping with admiration. “You’re incredible.”
His fingers press harder, delving deeper, and you gasp, your back arching off the bed. Yangyang shifts his position slightly, angling his fingers to hit that perfect spot inside you, and you feel yourself spiraling closer to the edge.
“Yangyang,” you choke out, your voice trembling with need. “Please…”
“Please what?” he teases, his voice low and husky. His free hand cups your breast, thumb flicking over your nipple in rhythm with his finger movements.
You whimper, torn between the dueling sensations of his touch. “I… I don’t know,” you admit, frustrated by your inability to articulate the raging storm within you.
Yangyang chuckles again, the sound dark and intimate. “That’s okay,” he whispers, leaning in to kiss you deeply. His fingers quicken their pace, stroking in and out of you with increasing urgency. “Let yourself go. Let me take care of you.”
The combination of his words and actions is too much, and you feel the wave building inside you, cresting higher and higher with every thrust of his fingers. Your breath comes in shallow pants, your body tensing as you approach the precipice.
“Yangyang, I—”
He doesn’t let you finish. Instead, he presses a hard kiss to your lips, swallowing your cry of release as you come apart in his arms. Your body shudders, waves of pleasure rolling through you, leaving you boneless and gasping for air.
Yangyang pulls his fingers from you slowly, watching your face with rapt attention. His eyes are dark, filled with a mixture of awe and possessiveness. “Fuck,” he mutters under his breath, his voice raw with emotion. “You’re amazing.”
You blink up at him, still dazed from the intensity of your orgasm. “You’re not so bad yourself,” you manage to joke weakly.
Yangyang laughs, the sound warm and genuine. “Oh, we’re just getting started,” he says, his voice dropping to a teasing purr.
Yangyang’s hands trail down your body, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. His touch is deliberate, almost reverent, as if he’s memorizing every curve and dip of you. When his fingers brush against the side of your thigh, you shiver, the sensation sending a spark of electricity through your veins.
“You’re so beautiful,” he murmurs, his voice low and husky. His eyes never leave yours, their intensity making your breath hitch. “I want to see you touch me.”
His words send a jolt of arousal through you, but there’s also a flicker of uncertainty. You’ve never been this intimate with anyone before, not like this. The thought of exploring his body feels thrilling and terrifying all at once. But when he guides your hand to his chest, the moment becomes too electric to resist.
Your fingers curl around the soft fabric of his hoodie, hesitating for just a second before you tug it up and over his head. The movement exposes the warm skin beneath, his chest rising and falling with shallow breaths. You can feel the heat radiating from him, the thrum of his heartbeat underneath your palm. It’s intoxicating.
“Go on,” he whispers, his voice thick with desire. “Touch me.”
You do. Your fingertips trace the ridges of his collarbone, the muscles of his shoulders, the faint dusting of hair that trails down his sternum. Each touch sends a shiver through him, his breath hitching as your exploration grows bolder. When your hand skims lower, brushing against the waistband of his jeans, he groans, the sound raw and needy.
“Fuck,” he mutters, his voice breaking. “Don’t stop.”
His reaction emboldens you, fueling the fire that’s already burning between you. You let your fingers dip beneath the hem of his shirt, sliding along the taut planes of his abdomen. His skin is warm and smooth, the muscles beneath tense with anticipation. You can feel the way his body responds to your touch, the way he shifts closer, his breath fanning across your cheek.
“So good,” he rasps, his hands gripping your hips tightly. “God, you feel so fucking good.”
His praise sends a thrill of pleasure through you, your confidence growing with each passing second. You slide your hand higher, brushing against the edge of his nipple, feeling it pebble beneath your touch. He gasps, arching into your hand as a low moan escapes his lips.
“Turn around,” he says suddenly, his voice commanding yet laced with urgency. “I want to touch you.”
You obey without hesitation, turning to face the bed and leaning forward slightly. The position puts you on display, your back arched and your ass lifted slightly. Yangyang’s breath hitches as he takes in the view, his gaze darkening with hunger.
“Jesus,” he mutters, his hands coming to rest on your hips. “You’re perfect.”
He strokes your sides, his fingers trailing up to your ribcage before dipping lower, pushing the material of your dress aside to expose the lace of your panties. The sight of them makes his grip tighten, his fingers pressing into your skin as he pulls them down slowly, revealing the curve of your ass and the delicate skin beneath.
“So fucking gorgeous,” he breathes, his voice rough with need. “I want to taste you.”
Before you can respond, he drops to his knees behind you, his hands cupping your ass as he presses a series of light kisses along the crease of your thigh. The sensation is electrifying, sending shivers of anticipation rippling through you. You can feel the heat of his breath against your skin, the promise of what’s to come making your core throb with need.
When his tongue finally makes contact, you cry out, your hands clutching the sheets as waves of pleasure crash over you. He licks a slow, deliberate path up your folds, his tongue darting inside you with relentless precision. The sensation is overwhelming, your body trembling as he works you with expert skill.
“Yangyang,” you gasp, your voice breaking as he grazes his teeth along your clit. “Please—”
He doesn’t let you finish. Instead, he bites down gently, the sharp sting followed by a rush of warmth that sends you spiraling. Your thighs tremble, your body tightening as he continues to stroke and tease, his tongue flicking faster and harder until you can’t take it anymore.
“I’m close,” you manage to whisper, your voice barely above a whisper.
He nods, his hands gripping your hips as he redoubles his efforts. The sudden surge of pressure builds rapidly, your body tensing as you teeter on the edge. And then, with one final thrust of his tongue, you shatter, your orgasm crashing over you in waves of pure bliss.
Your legs give out, but Yangyang catches you, guiding you gently to the bed. You collapse onto your back, your chest heaving as you try to catch your breath. He climbs onto the bed, hovering over you with a predatory smile.
“That was incredible,” he murmurs, his voice filled with admiration. “But we’re not done yet.”
He leans down, capturing your lips in a searing kiss as he positions himself between your legs. You can feel the thick ridge of his cock pressing against your entrance, the heat of him making you ache with need.
“Are you ready?” he asks, his voice low and strained.
You nod, unable to form words as your desire consumes you. With one swift movement, he pushes inside you, filling you completely. The sensation is intense, your bodies perfectly aligned as he begins to move.
Yangyang’s breath hitches as he slides into you, the heat of his body pressing against yours. You feel every inch of him, thick and demanding, filling you completely. His hips move with a slow, deliberate rhythm, each thrust sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body. His lips find yours again, kissing you deeply as he sets a steady pace, drawing out the moment.
“You feel so good,” he whispers against your lips, his voice low and trembling. “So tight… so perfect.”
His hands grip your hips, holding you firmly as he continues to thrust into you. You can feel the way he’s holding back, wanting to savor this moment, but the strain in his voice tells you just how much he wants to let go. Your own desire is building, spiraling higher with every movement of his hips. You wrap your legs around his waist, urging him on, desperate for more.
Just as the tension between you reaches its peak, a loud POP echoes through the apartment, followed by the sudden absence of light. The room plunges into darkness, the only sound now the heavy breathing of the two of you.
“What… what was that?” you ask, your voice shaky and breathless.
“Power outage,” Yangyang replies, his tone amused but still strained. “Looks like we’ve got the place to ourselves for a while.”
The darkness seems to heighten everything. Without the distraction of sight, your other senses become sharper. You can feel the warmth of Yangyang’s body pressed against yours, the weight of him grounding you. His breath tickles your neck as he kisses your collarbone, his movements growing more insistent as the adrenaline of the unexpected outage pushes him closer to the edge.
“Let’s not waste it,” he murmurs, his voice dripping with desire. He shifts slightly, adjusting his angle, and you gasp as a new wave of sensation hits you. His thrusts become deeper, harder, each one bringing you closer to the edge.
“Yangyang…” you moan, clutching at his shoulders, your nails digging into his skin.
“Tell me what you want,” he demands, his voice rough with need. “Tell me how bad you want it.”
“I want you… I need you,” you whisper, your voice breaking. “Don’t stop.”
He growls in response, his hips snapping forward with renewed urgency. The sound of skin slapping against skin fills the silence, mingling with your ragged breaths. You feel yourself teetering on the brink, the pressure building inside you with every thrust. Yangyang’s hand moves between your thighs, his fingers finding your clit and stroking it with expert precision.
“Almost there,” he promises, his voice a harsh whisper. “Come for me. Let go.”
The darkness feels like a cocoon, wrapping around you both as you fall apart. Your body shudders, your muscles tightening around him as you reach your climax. Yangyang follows soon after, his movements becoming erratic as he buries himself deep inside you, letting out a deep groan as he spills inside you.
For a moment, all you can do is cling to each other, the weight of your bodies the only anchor you have in the dark. Yangyang rests his forehead against yours, his breathing slowly returning to normal.
“That was…” he starts, but trails off, his voice soft and vulnerable.
“Perfect,” you finish for him, your voice barely above a whisper.
He chuckles softly, kissing your forehead before pulling out of you and lying down beside you. You roll onto your side, facing him in the dark, your fingers tracing the contours of his face.
“What now?” you ask, your voice curious.
“Now…” he pauses, his hand reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. “Now we wait. See how long this lasts.”
The thought sends a shiver of excitement down your spine. There’s something thrilling about the uncertainty, about being forced to slow down and enjoy the moment. You nestle closer to Yangyang, feeling his arm wrap around your waist as you rest your head on his chest.
“I could get used to this,” you murmur, listening to the steady beat of his heart.
Yangyang’s chest rises and falls with a soft chuckle, his voice warm against your ear. “I could too,” he admits, his tone laced with contentment. “There’s something about the dark that makes everything feel… simpler. No distractions, just us.”
You smile into the darkness, feeling the weight of his words settle between you. His fingers trace lazy circles on your back, the gentle rhythm soothing yet electrifying all at once. The power outage has stripped away the usual comforts of light and sound, leaving only the raw connection between you two. It’s intimate in a way you hadn’t anticipated, but now that it’s here, you realize how much you crave it.
“Do you think we’ll be stuck like this for long?” you ask, your voice soft as you nuzzle closer to him.
“Who knows?” he replies, his lips brushing against your temple. “Maybe it’s a sign. A chance to slow down, to really feel each other without anything else getting in the way.”
His words send a flutter through your chest. You can hear the sincerity in his voice, the way he’s embracing the moment rather than letting it frustrate him. It’s one of the things you love most about him—his ability to find beauty in the unexpected.
“You’re right,” you murmur, tilting your head to press a kiss to his collarbone. “This is kind of nice. Just… being together like this.”
Yangyang hums in agreement, his arm tightening around you. “Yeah,” he says after a pause, his voice low and thoughtful. “It’s perfect.”
The silence stretches between you, broken only by the occasional rustle of sheets or the soft whisper of his breath. You trace the lines of his chest with your fingertips, marveling at how familiar yet endlessly fascinating his body feels. Each curve and plane feels like home, like something you never knew you needed until now.
“What are you thinking about?” he asks suddenly, his voice curious.
“I was thinking about how glad I am that you were there to bail me out of that bad date,” you admit, your voice soft but laced with gratitude. “If it wasn’t for you… I don’t even want to imagine how that night would’ve ended.”
Yangyang chuckles, the sound warm and comforting against your ear. “Well, I couldn’t let you suffer through that alone, could I?” he teases, his fingers brushing lightly over your shoulder. “Besides, I think we both know how much better this turned out.”
You smile, feeling a blush creep into your cheeks despite the darkness. “Yeah,” you agree, tilting your head to press a kiss to his chest. “This was definitely better. So much better.”
He hums in agreement, his hand moving to cup the back of your head gently. “I’m just glad I could be there for you,” he says, his tone sincere. “You deserve someone who makes you feel as amazing as you make me feel.”
His words send a shiver down your spine, and you tighten your hold on him, nuzzling closer. “You do,” you whisper, your voice barely audible. “You really do.”
The silence between you is comfortable, filled with unspoken words and lingering touches. You trace the lines of his chest again, your fingers pausing over the faint scar near his ribs. It’s a mark you’ve grown familiar with, one that tells a story of its own.
“Do you ever think about how different things might’ve been?” you ask suddenly, your voice tinged with curiosity. “If you hadn’t shown up when you did.”
Yangyang pauses, his hand stilling on your back. “Honestly?” he says after a moment, his voice thoughtful. “I try not to think about it. Because the way things are now… this… it’s exactly where I want to be. With you.”
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through your chest at his words. “Me too,” you murmur, pressing another kiss to his skin. “Me too.”
The power outage may have thrown you into darkness, but in that moment, you realize it’s brought you closer to something infinitely brighter. The moonlight and the stars seem to be flittering brighter above you and you decide, maybe, for tonight you won't wait for the lights to come back on.
Because this is perfect as it is.

b͟l͟u͟r͟b͟ o͟f͟:̲ {gullible!obsessive!reader} defending {toxic!chris} to her friends
The atmosphere of the living room was relaxed and cozy. Lit candles cast a warm glow, and laughter bounced off the walls as the faint scent of lavender and cheap perfumes filled the room. You and your friends lounged around, trading stories and discussing whatever came to mind, the kind of conversations that felt light and effortless.
It had been a long night. Chris had stormed off an hour ago, angry at you for reasons you couldn’t even begin to understand. You’d tried calling him—of course you had—but every call went to voicemail, and every text remained unanswered. It wasn’t unusual, but it left you with a hollow ache you couldn’t quite shake. Out of boredom and a need for distraction, you had called a few of your friends over. It had been a while since you’d all hung out, and the idea of catching up felt like a temporary escape.
For what felt like the first time in ages, you felt secure, happy even. The weight of the fight with Chris had started to lift, replaced by the warmth of familiarity and friendship. Until the conversation took a turn.
“So… Y/N,” Delilah began, her tone casual but her eyes sharp. You looked up from the pillow you were fiddling with, offering a small hum of acknowledgment to show you were listening. Her gaze locked with yours, practically boring into you.
“I, uh… heard you were back together with Chris,” she said, her words slow and deliberate.
Your face lit up at the mention of his name. “Oh, yeah! We got back together,” you replied, your voice cheerful, almost defensive as a small smile formed on your face. Deep down, though, something about her tone warned you she wasn’t about to offer congratulations.
The room immediately filled with groans and scoffs, the mood souring in an instant.
“Are you serious?” Riley asked, sitting up straighter. Her tone was incredulous, almost offended. “After everything he did? After cheating on you with tara? AND all those other woman?“
You felt your stomach twist at the words, a sharp pang of embarrassment rising to your chest. Your brows furrowed, annoyance flickering across your face as you rolled your eyes in an attempt to appear unbothered.
“Well… he told me he was going to change,” you muttered defensively, your voice firm despite the uncertainty gnawing at you. “He didn’t mean to cheat ya know? He said it was a mistake, and he’s different now.”
“Different?” Riley shot back with a bitter laugh. “Y/N, come on. You know he’s not different. He’s been doing the same shit for years and youve done nothing!”
Delilah leaned forward, her expression softer but no less firm. “We’re just trying to look out for you. You deserve so much better than him sweetheart…”
You clenched your fists in frustration, your heart pounding as your friends words pressed down on you.
“Y-you guys don’t understand!” you stammered, trying to find the right words. “I love him, and he loves me! Everybody makes mistakes sometimes… I don’t go around correcting all the shit you guys do, do I?!”
Everyone’s eyes widened as you stood up for him. Before anyone could get a word in, you kept going, your voice trembling but firm. “He’s only human. Some people don’t know right from wrong, and that’s okay… he loves me.”
Riley sighed, placing a small hand on your knee as she looked up at you from her spot on the floor.
“Y/N… I know you love him—we all know,” she said softly, pausing to take a deep breath before continuing. “But… he’s a bad person, babe. You need to leave him.”
You felt a deeper anger rise up as she spoke, your hands clenching into fists. You let out a frustrated groan. “No! He’s perfect! Now stop fucking talking about him before I kick all of you out!”
Riley sighed again, this time softer, clearly giving up as she leaned back and sat down.
The conversation shifted back to normal, but you couldn’t shake your anger.
How dare they try to tell you your boyfriend was a bad person?! you thought, glaring at the group. They’re just jealous.
Just as you were about to jump back into the conversation, your phone buzzed, pulling you from your thoughts.
You looked down at the screen, and a small smile formed on your face as you read the message:
Chris💵💗 to Me: “Hey princess… gonna be home a little late. Playing games at Nathan’s house. If I see your location change, you’re in trouble. Got it?”
Despite your love and admiration for Chris, a small part of you—buried deep, deep down—knew he was an awful person. But no matter what, you couldn’t help but always come back to him.
You began typing a reply, your nails clacking against the screen as you did so.
Me to Chris💵💗: “Alright. I understand. Be safe, please!!”
A/n: Ik so many people are gonna be SEETHING at this…but oh well…I actually enjoyed writing this it was kinda fun..so…yay!!!

Jacked and Kind - Rúben Dias
ᥫ᭡: pairing: Rúben Dias x reader
ᥫ᭡: request: Rúben doing the "boy who's jacked and kind" trend and being very smug about it. Based on this request
ᥫ᭡: a/n: Finally, a Rúben fic with many to come. I has so much fun writing this. Like, have you guys seen this man? He was made for this trend!!!!
navigation | request guidelines
The golden light of the setting sun shone in your living room, adding to the already cozy atmosphere. It was one of those evening where you and your boyfriend spent doing absolutely nothing. Rúben had come back exhausted from training, so the two of you had settled into each other’s arms on the sofa.
You were scrolling through TikTok, like always, until you stumbled across a TikTok of a couple doing the “boy who is jacked and kind” trend. Intrigued, you went on the sound to see more videos. Beside you, Rúben looked up from his own phone, to see why the same audio was playing over and over.
“What are you up to?” he asked a bit suspicious.
You tilted your phone towards him, showing him the latest trend. “We have to do this.” you insisted.
Rúben leaned closer, “You want me to do that?"
“Obviously,” you said, already on your feet. “You are made for this - ‘Jacked and kind’, that’s literally you.”
“Are you questioning my strength?” he smirked, clearly amused.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the grin on your face. “So, are you doing it, or are you scared?”
“Scared? It’s like you don’t know me at all.” he said, this competitiveness ignited.
Rúben gets up as you prop your phone up on the vase of a nearby cabinet. He stretched his arms, showing off, to tease you some more before stepping closer behind you.
“Don’t you dare drop me!” you warned him before starting the TikTok.
“Never.” he reassured you.
As Sabrina’s song echoed from your phone. Rúben came up behind you, and secured his arms around your thighs. He lifted you effortlessly off the ground and onto his shoulder like you weighed nothing. Your hand gripped his other shoulder for balance, laughter bubbling out of you. Rúben grinned smugly as he showed off his guns for the video.
To be honest, you were enjoying this more that you would have liked to admit.
When the recording ended, he set you back onto your feet. Both of you walked over to the phone to see the end result and you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face as you watched your boyfriend lifting you like you were the lightest thing in the world.
“See? Perfection.” he said with pride.
You quickly pressed your lips together faking disappointment, as an idea popped in your head. “Hmm… it’s off beat. We didn’t get the timing right. But it’s okay.”
His eyes darted from the video to you. “No no no, I don’t do things okay.”
“Seriously it’s fine” you tried to play it off by reassuring him. “No one will notice.”
“Give me your phone” he was not having it. He took it and set it up again to retake. “We are redoing this.”
You couldn’t contain the grin that made it’s way onto your face from excitement. The truth was, you loved watching him show off his strength, and being lifted like that made you feel giddy. Like a teenage girl with her celebrity crush.
Rúben however caught up quickly on what you were trying to do. “... you little shit.”
“Huh?” you asked, faking confusion.
“We weren’t actually off-beat, were we? You just wanted an excuse for me to lift you again.”
“No…” you lied, slightly blushing at the fact that you got caught. “I said it’s okay but you insisted.”
“Oh, so I’m the problem now?” he teased, “Come here…”
Before you could protest, his arms were around your thighs, as he lifting you in the air again.
As the recording ended, he put you back down to watch the video. He crossed his arms and looked at you expectantly.
“Jacked and kind indeed.” you thought out loud, not hiding your admiration.
He leaned closer, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you into him. “Only for you,” he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to your temple.

Mistletoe with the UT Skelebros (x Reader)
(Heya! I sorta missed all the X-mas hype by a few days but I wanted to post some fluff whilst we're still in that sweet sweet holiday limbo. Hope you guys enjoy! I might do the other skeletons too if requested :)
Sans
It had all been going smoothly up till now. I mean, as smoothly as having a bunch of alternate skeletons under a single roof on Gyftmas eve could go he supposed.
Nothing set on fire - yet, nothing broken beyond repair - yet, no physical fights…. yet. Albeit he could see some of the more rowdier skeletons already losing their filter due to the excessive amounts of alcohol present, he knew would have to step in sooner or later to break up any potential arguments soon…
Man he was tired, hosting an event this big by request of his brother was taking a toll on his already exhausted state of mind. His one and only conciliation? You.
You had been flitting about the party, mingling and exchanging gifts as you went, trying to keep everyone safe and happy and Sans couldn't help but grin at the sight of you. It reminded him of why he had fallen so quickly and so hard in the first place.
You were a breath of fresh air, a peaceful moment in the ever present chaos of his life, could you really blame him for wanting more? More of you, more of those shared moments he had been lucky enough to steal with you?
He was getting ahead of himself, maybe it was the drinks talking. He should check the dining room again and see whether or not everyone was still playing nice there.
Just as he was about to do just that, the call of your voice stopped him in his tracks, he turned, noticing the small box in your hands and the slight flush of your cheeks.
“heh, what's up kid?”
Just as you were about to respond, your gaze had caught something, you had frozen in place, eyes widening at something… above him?
Mistletoe.
Oh man
He froze as well, already making up several reasons in his head why he should just play it off and go on his merry way before he did something to ruin his friendship with you before actually looking back down at you.
Man you were a sight for sore eyes.
…Could he maybe indulge? Just this once? Just this once he could forget about everything and just… enjoy the moment.
The abashed smile on your face told him you probably wouldn't mind and he wondered if he was really that lucky?
He leaned in, inexplicably drawn towards your warmth, and you did the same. He hesitated one last moment, but then he realized he probably wouldn't be able to live with himself if he chickened out now, and that had sealed the deal.
It was a small but soft peck on your lips, his eyes lidded as he watched your reaction, the blush on your face making his soul thrum. The loud cheers around the room seemed to have snapped you out of the moment and you flustered at being seen by so many, but he didn't, he couldn't, how in the world could he when all he could see was you?
Before you could run away in your embarrassment he leaned in again, almost too quick to catch, and he stole another kiss from your lips,- the feeling of the soft gasp of surprise coming from you and fanning over his teeth making his head spin and making him quickly take his leave. He hoped you would forgive him, he couldn't help himself, not with how brightly you looked at him with the holiday lights all around you.
Papyrus
Papyrus hummed in contentment, his bright eyes flying over the brightly decorated room in satisfaction as he placed an empty box down on the floor. His hands rested on his hips as he looked over his work.
It was perfect, he'd make sure to triple and quadruple check. A vision of Gyftmas cheer, holiday lights, candy canes, stockings and thistles neatly organized and placed around the room.
He wanted it to be perfect, no, it had to be! You were joining them this year after all, and Papyrus couldn't bear the thought of everything being less than superb.
He wondered if your expression would light up just like the gyftmas lights, if you would turn to him with that perfect smile on your lips and compliment him with that stunning look in your eye. The thought made his cheeks warm.
He was excited, so excited to spend the evening with you, he had big plans after all.
His eyes turned suspicious, glancing this way and that for any sign of the others before quickly making his way through a practiced and mentally rehearsed route through the house.
Living room entryway? Check, Kitchen door? Check, Hallway exit? Check, Back door? Check.
…Hmm, maybe he should add some more, just to be safe.
He returned to the inconspicuous box laid neatly out of sight in the corner of the hallway and opened it, grabbing a few branches of the spindly green plant that he had taken the time to wrap in neat little red bows.
He had found the tradition a bit odd at first he admitted, but then he saw how delightfully charming it was in one of Mettaton's FULL VOLUME GYFTMAS SPECIALS, and he thought it had been a perfect chance to finally confess his feelings to you. It's been rather recent that his feelings of best friendship had morphed into something… more, something soft and exciting, something that made his soul thrum vividly every time he laid his eyes on you.
He had wondered if he was sick at first, it wouldn't be surprising considering the weather they'd been having, but after several hours of arduous researching online for the supposed cause he had come to a realization. He had looked through his bookshelf then, dusting off his older volume DATING MANUAL with a warbly grin.
He wanted to confess, wanted to see the look in your eyes when he did, he wondered how you'd respond, the thought made him a bit nervous. It had to be perfect.
As he placed the mistletoe branch on one of the other entryways in the house- deftly balancing on the small stepladder he had kept for purely such an occasion, he hadn't noticed the padded footsteps behind him.
It was all so sudden, a quick and cheery greeting, a startled yelp, a clattering thump, a rushed reflex to grab you and break your fall.
Papyrus stared down at you, his hands protective around you as both of you stared at each other in a moment of stupefied silence.
He snapped himself out of it, already rushing to apologize, to check you for injuries, to make sure you were safe, oh stars, he hadn't hurt you in the fall did he?
You started laughing and the sound knocked him out of his anxiety, it was such a pretty sound, he almost lost his train of thought. He stared at you once again, still leaning over you on the floor as you fell into a fit of giggles and he couldn't help but sigh dreamily. You were perfect.
It was then your eyes had turned to something over his shoulder, briefly widening and then turning towards him, a soft flush in your cheeks. He wondered what you were looking at, and just as he was about to turn, the warm touch of your hands on the sides of his skull made him freeze in place.
He couldn't resist it, the pull of your arms softly bringing your lips to his teeth, gaze soft and warm, the feeling made his spine prickle.
He had leaned in, enchanted by the feeling, enchanted by the sight of your warm affection, the feeling of your lips, the warmth of your slightly shaky breath.
It was perfect, even if his plan had failed even before it could begin,- but then how could it not be, when you were the one he had fallen for. Quite literally in fact.

“Did you really have to make them kiss?” Vernon asked, peeking into your laptop.
Slamming the top of the laptop closed, you let out a strangled noise of protest and say,
“I think it's sweet! Don’t you think everyone deserves a happy ever after?”
With amusement in his voice, Vernon replied, “Even if they didn’t, you would have forced them to have one anyways. But what I don’t get is why do you like writing gay fanfiction about 2D people so much.?”
“What is that supposed to mean? Are you making fun of me?” You ask tersely.
“No, of course not, babe”, Vernon placates, raising his hands in surrender. “Maybe I will understand it more if you write something about real people.” He clicked his fingers as the world’s best idea dawned on him. “I know! Why don't you write about me and Boo?”
Your brain stutters to a stop and you can’t help but look at your boyfriend disbelievingly. Maybe, I am dreaming right now, you think. To make sure that you aren’t hallucinating or going stark raving mad, you go,
“Are you asking me to write a yaoi fic about you and your best friend?”
“Yeah, write a boover, solkwan or whatever they call it.”
You correct him automatically, “it's solboo”
“Yeah, solboo. Write a solboo fic. I think Seungkwan would love to see what kind of person you write him as.”
You had a secret. Sometimes, just sometimes, you didn't know if your boyfriend was kidding or not. This was one of those times. Trying to test the waters, you hum and say, “I would have to charge you then. This writer doesn't work for free.”
Vernon nods approvingly. “Of course, the fact that you are willing to write for free usually doesn't mean you shouldn't know your worth. Good job standing up for yourself, babe. And you should even add an overcharge if I annoy you like this.”
“Thank you”, you giggle.
He continues, “And since you are charging, can I make some requests? Can you add in a fight scene or something? I would like to beat something up. Wait, let me ask Seungkwanie if he wants to be in a fight too.”
Vernon looks around to see where he put his phone. He made a beeline for it when he found it. With an aha, he shoots a text and comes back to sit next to you.
“What did you text him about?” You ask bemusedly.
“Huh?”
“What did you say to Seungkwan?”
Vernon was starting to get a bit confused by this exchange.
“I asked him if he wanted to be in a fight?”
“This and nothing else?”.
You try to clamp down the giggles that are bubbling inside you.
“Is there anything else to say?”
But thinking about Seungkwan's face when he sees the text Vernon sent, you can't help but break into a peal of laughter. Much to the growing confusion of your boyfriend, you laughed straight for five minutes. Forcing yourself to wrestle the conversation back to where you guys were, you say,
“A fight scene maybe a bit too much for me but I could add in a slap for you.”
A bit offended, Vernon shoots back “I don't want to get slapped for no reason.”
“Why would it be for no reason? Maybe you cheated on Seungkwan?”
“If I did, then I would deserve it and more but I would never cheat on him.” Vernon protested.
The slowly heating up banter between the couple in the cozy apartment and snowflakes whirling around the air outside was the opposite in every way but one. Both of them were where they belonged.
