14 Anti LO Asks

1. To the one anon: good question - how is it that the mortals dont know who Persephone is / assume she is a minor goddess and therefore its okay to mess with her but the gods (or Olympians / underworld denizens) know exactly everything about her (despite her being there only every so often and only being 20ish) - enough to say shes "wearing her signature white color" during a murder trial.

Also the reason why Persephone is wearing white is because

A). RS wanted persephone to always be "dressed as a bride" (and have Hades dressed as a groom respectively) to show that their matching / is supposed to be a visual cue that their eventually gonna be together.

B). I believe this is RS way of saying that Persephone (despite murdering some mortals) is innocent because in purity culture White = innocence, virginity, youth etc. (Even though RS explicity ssid she wanted to go against purity culture morals shes very much leaning into them). 

2. why are Psyche’s eyes yellow even in her human form? Is she sick??

3. honestly? LO is just gossisp girl at this point, espect even GG (at least in the first season) bothered to saturze the rich and was calling out how wealth and power makes them corrupt assholes. meanwhile LO is just GG season 2 and on of being like no no, the poor people are the evil people and the rich people are the oppressed ones! all while also fawning over their  wealth and status and being way into grown men wanting to bang barely legal teens and claiming to be "feminist" somehow.

4. Tumblr is well-known for broken tag system. Check the post' tags before complaining that it's op's fault. How about you guys not tag greek mythology when posting about LO? LO is not one-shot or short fancomic. It's also definitely not considered actual greek mythology. LO is years long webcomic with huge fans. LO has its own tag. Tell your fellow fans to stop using the greek mythology tag.

5. I would argue nyx is the only woman with a unique in design in LO but thats only because she looks like a deformed chicken woman. why was my night mom disrespected this much 😭

6. So now that LO is back from break and I can finally read chapter 170 - Why oh Why do ALL the female characters Have to be defined by their male love interests??? (Or really just love interests in general).

I understand LO qualifies as the "romance" genre and there are certain stipulations or I guess themes or what have you that make it romance but for f*cks sake.

Psyche being worried about Eros loving the "fake" her I kinda get, but really? Thats your most pressing concern?? Hera is defined by her garbage marriage to Zeus - King of the gods (of which is why she is Queen of the gods). Hestia + Athena are now defined solely by their relationship to each other (not the TGOEM or their respective traits of being a goddess of the hearth + goddess of war, strategy etc etc).

Aphrodite is defined by giving Persephone "relationship" advice (e.g: telling her to curb stomp Minthe because "nymphs dont take things from gods" - doubly implying that people are things to own) And by her jealousy of Persephone in the first place because Hades made a comment about how he thought Persephone was prettier than her. And also because of her "house of debauchery" (Artemis'  words) - and relationship with Ares.

Persephone is defined both by Apollo raping her and by her fated future status as Queen of the underworld (so her relationship with Hades). Hell, even the minor characters such as nymphs are defined by this relationship status / standard. Minthe is defined by her mean spirited personality yes, but Also because of her abusive relationship with Hades prior to the introduction of Persephone. Psyche is defined by her relationship woes with Eros. Daphne is defined by her relationship with Thanatos (and because shes a flower nymph) but also mostly because she looks like Persephone.

Rhea is defined by her marriage / relationship to Kronos (lets ignore the whole "fertility goddess power" plot for a second). Even Aetna is defined by Haphestus creating her! Is there not a single character (especially female) is isnt defined by their romantic love interest???Sorry. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but thats definitely how ot comes off as of late, in regard to the latest chapters.

Okay, same anon as earlier - I take it back somewhat - we have Artemis and Hecate that are not defined by their romantic relationships - but rather their lack of one.

However the way they are shown - it still comes off as a standard - "Artemis is stingy / a stick in the mud" because shes not romantically involved and is "barbaric" (according to Hera). And Hecate is still somewhat defined by her being Hades' employee (and cheerleader for him and Persephone to be together).

So technically yes, we have at least 2 characters that are not defined by their romantic interests / relationships, but they are still held to the standard of their "un-ladylike / undesirable" because their not romantically involved.

(I guess I should count Demeter, but only because shes more defined by just being "Persephone's overbearing mom" )

7. i think whats also kinda weird about this trial is like?? persephone is obvs framed as not liking the attention (bc duh) but she didnt like the previous press either, she wanted to be private, but wouldnt being with hades force her to be in the spotlight that makes her uncomfortable? also the citizens of the underworld already dislike hades, why would they want a uncontrollable felon as their queen, even if she found innocent? idk the whole thing just makes the endgame less plausible, tbh.

8. love that rachel was able to find a random deity name to name her random nymph the greek word for "beans" meanwhile apparently cant google actual greek names for even one off characters? like andrew, ellen, george, alexis, damian, luke, phoebe, sophia, and so any other english names are also greek, but she cant even bother with that? what exactly is her "research" if she cant even bother to spend 30 seconds googling greek names? at this point LO seems determined to be as un-Greek as possible.

9. wait so everyone in LO went from having no idea who persephone was, to her only showing up on ONE magazine cover, to now being the most well known person with a signature color? all in the span of two weeks with no genuine public outings? how does that make sense? also white isnt even her signature color if 90%+ the female cast and even a lot of the men ((including ZEUS) all wear it too.

10. the fact the courthouse WASNT the areopagus, aka the place in greece where they say the first ever trial ever happened and where the court system was invented, is just another point of rachel talking out her ass about being "respectful" or "researched" on greece and their mythology. its literally one of the most famous mythology spots ever with some fantastic stories to it and she's just like "nah! boring rectangle will do!" like why even both with mythology then if its this devoid of it?

11. Anons are saying Hades in the FS chapter is leaning down and talking to Persy like a child. Say it aint true.

(I wanna see. I thought RS was finally giving Persy adult proportions). 😨

12. So wait, hold up. I kinda get where RS is coming from with the law school in the underworld (because Hades is supposed to be a kinda Judge, jury, executioner situation in the afterlife when it comes to mortals and their "punishments" and whatnot). However, is RS stating that the ONLY law school / courthouse exists in the underworld? If so, why? Why wouldn't Athena be there then. She's a goddess of strategy and justice (among other things).

Also is RS really implying that Hades owns not only the banks and underworld but the law too? She really wants Hades to be a Gary Sue along side her Mary Sue - Hades controls everything that matters and since its his realm and blah blah blah rules, Zeus, king of the gods cant do anything about it.

(Which is dumb. Because you would think that because Persephone committed the crime in the mortal realm / on, or near Olympus that therefore she would be brought back there to dole out justice under Zeus jurisdiction because she committed the crime in His Realm).

Why on earth couldn't the reporters have Greek names? There is so much wrong and bad with this story, yet this irks me so much. It is Brenda all over again.

14. i dont really get the point of the trial plotline, tbh. even persephone says she should be punished and held accountable, but hades is framed in the right for trying to go against that and weasel her out of it. so?? plus zeus has legit reason to punish them? persephone is a danger to others, demeter and hermes both committed treason to cover it up, and hades was harboring a fugitive of the law and is now trying to force the system to let her go. how is zeus in the wrong for this?

I didn't realize you had a tumblr! I don't check the tags here often, but wandered into the bakudeku tag tonight and saw you'd posted your latest fic, and i feel way more comfortable leaving these kinds of rambly-ranty comments and compliments here than ao3, so i just wanna say: i've been loving all your content lately! I've never actively sought out kiritodobakudeku till reading the "I'm Not Pretty" series, and i love the way you've expanded it from the single fic tackling different ways different trans men respond to different terms and acts. As a trans-masc person, it's something I deeply appreciate! I also love the way you write all of the dynamics in the relationship - the recognition that each "pair" for lack of better term, within the relationship will act differently with one another. Also just in general your writing of trans Izuku is probably one of my favorites i've seen, although I may be biased since I heavily identify with Izuku anyways, and the way you write him just sort of adds to that because I feel like I have a lot of the same sort of attitudes as him in relation to gender stuff. Anyways, this is super long and kinda all over the place, but I just wanted to ramble about how awesome your writing is, and let you know how excited i am to see what else you come up with!

Honestly, my heart is just so full right now I'm gonna cry. ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡

Every little comment no matter the platform means the world to me but when people share how a character I've written is relatable or means something to them it just sends me over the moon. For the most part what I write is pretty simple (and tbh just kind of porn) but I try to add in little things to give them a hint of depth sometimes in the hopes that when someone reads they can relate and enjoy what they're reading and to hear that has worked even a tiny bit means everything.

A lot of what I write is kink-focused but I try to also add substance to that? Just a tiny bit? Sure, transmasc might be a turn on and and people might get hot about foursomes but like, polyamory (which is super new for me but I'm finding I quite like writing it!) isn't just an excuse for a foursome, it's a loving romantic partnership between four distinct individuals who put in the effort to make it work every day-- and the fun kinky foursome sex is just a great bonus! ^^'

And being trans is an identity and a lived experience and it isn't a one size fits all deal so if I can capture any of that in the few thousand words of a sex scene I really want to try.

'I'm Not Pretty' was a fic I was almost certain would be a dud but more people have reached out to me about it than anything else. It's not my most kudo-ed fic / series but it is the one people share their feelings about the most, it's the one I have the most prompts for hands down. That blows my mind. I was so afraid it would miss the mark and people would be indifferent, or worse hate it, and to receive so much positive feedback is just...I don't even have the words. Kind of magical, I guess. Genuinely life changing. Because here I am writing more and exploring things I never thought I would!

A/N: Hello all! Sorry this is late, I was avoiding tumblr until I saw Captain Marvel but I’m back! But there are a few changes. I’m not putting any links or tags in the original posting of anything I write.  I think it might be hiding me from searches and the lack of notes on some of these things are bumming me out. My bio is updated to help y’all navigate (I hope). I’m rebloging with tags immediately after posting. Now on with the show! 

Steve sat in his apartment reading a book and listening to the latest mix you had sent him when suddenly, he was submerged in darkness. He immediately jumped up, moving towards his shield that he had left propped up on the wall in the hallway. Picking it up quickly, he walked over to the window overlooking the city- everything in the immediate area was dark. A quick call to Tony eased his worries, it was just a typical blackout. Steve relaxed and let the tension leave his shoulders until he heard a noise come from your apartment.

“Shit, fuck, damn,” you cursed, clearly frustrated.

Steve walked over to the door, grabbing his keys and dropping his shield before making his way to your apartment to check and make sure you were okay. He knocked on your door and a few moments later, your door swung open. You looked up at Steve, confused.

“Steve? What’s up?”

“I heard you a few minutes ago and I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”

“Oh, thanks,” you said with a smile. “I’m all good, I just tripped over some books.”

“Okay, well you know where to find me if you need anything,” he responded.

He turned to walk away but stopped when he heard you call his name.

“Hey, Steve? If you don’t have any big blackout plans, do you wanna maybe hang out for a bit?”

“That would be great,” he said with a smile.

“Is my place okay? I don’t wanna leave my cat alone.”

“Of course,” he said, moving back towards your door as you moved aside to let him in.

Steve looked around as he walked into your apartment. Your living room had mismatched furniture that looked like it was probably from a second-hand shop. The space felt homey, with throw blankets and pillows scarred around. Books were scattered around, some on shelves and some in piles on the floor. What really caught his attention was one of your walls. It was painted a deep navy blue and had picture frames and shelves scattered around it. The shelves held vintage cameras and a notebook or two. The picture frames held a variety of different things. Some had hand drawn pictures, others had pictures of nature and there were a few from concerts. Steve finally turned his attention to you. Your hair was piled messily on top of your head, your face free of makeup. You were wearing a simple outfit, shorts that looked like they were for sleeping, a teeshirt and a plaid button down. Fuzzy socks covered your feet.

“Sorry for the mess, I wasn’t expecting company or a blackout.”

Steve was about to answer when he was interrupted by a large mass of fur, weaving his way between his legs purring loudly.

“And that’s Winston. He clearly has no manners,” you said with a chuckle.

Steve laughed and crouched down to scratch Winston on the head.

“Do you want something to drink?” you asked.

“Nah, I’m good.”

“Okay, make yourself at home. I’m gonna grab some more candles from my bedroom.”

Steve watched as you walked down the hall towards your bedroom and then wandered into your living room. He took a closer look at the navy wall that contained multiple photos. He recognized a few of the landmarks in some of the pictures, local places around Brooklyn. All of the pictures were newer, except for one. It was an older picture, a little girl and a boy who looked a bit older. Steve could tell you were the girl in the picture, the boy looked like was probably your older brother. You were both smiling wild, arms slung around each other.

He turned around when he heard you set candles down on the coffee table. Steve pointed to the picture he had just been admiring.

“Is that your brother?” he asked.

“Yes,” you answered shortly.

“Do you see him often?”

“No,” you hesitated, “He died a while back.”

“Oh, Y/N I’m so sorry,” Steve started but you cut him off quickly.

“It’s okay Steve, really.”

You quickly moved onto lighter subjects before you circled back around to more substantial topics. You and Steve were sat on the couch facing each other.

“My ma had just died. My dad had been gone for a few years at that point. Bucky was there the whole time. When I found out she was sick all the way to the funeral. Bucky’s house was so different from mine. I was an only child and Bucky had three younger siblings. His house was always loud and I loved it. His ma didn’t care that she already had four kids running around, I was welcome anytime. Anyway, after my mom’s funeral, he walked me back to my apartment, it was empty. And honestly, I was dreading it. But I was this tiny kid who always had something to prove and I just wanted to prove it to Bucky that I could get by own. And he wasn’t having it. He knew I could get by on my own but he told me I didn’t have to,” he finished before turning the questioning onto you. “What about you? Your parents?”

“Well, I grew up out in the country. My dad was a doctor and my mom stayed at home with my brother. When I was ten and my brother was sixteen, he died. He overdosed. I never really understood why he started doing drugs, I guess I still don’t. But after that, it was bad in my house. It didn’t take long for my mom to walk out on us. She just vanished one day, she didn’t leave me a note or anything. It only took a few months for my dad to start dating the woman that would become my stepmom, she was a doctor at the same hospital. She didn’t really like me all too much,” you said with a humorless laugh. “They wanted me to be a doctor and I wanted anything but that. So I applied to art schools and I got in, that’s actually why I moved to the city. They were both pissed. My dad sat me down before I left and said if I decided to go to that school, I wouldn’t be welcome back in their home. I thought they were full of shit so, at the end of my freshman year, I went back home. I knocked on the door and my dad took one look at me, said I wasn’t welcome in his home and he slammed the door in my face. I call on holidays so they know that I’m alive, but they probably wouldn’t care one way or another.”

Steve leaned forward to wipe away a few tears you hadn’t realized had fallen. Steve leaned in and paused right before his lips met yours, silently asking for permission. The slight nod you gave him was the only answer he needed before pressing his lips to yours.

Oh my goodness, you are too sweet. Haha and what fabulous questions! I’ll definitely have to do either a back in time one, or where they go and visit some of peter’s friends because right now, I just have a vague lil idea. Like a sweet little home for these omegas, very posh and proper teaching them how to behave and how to bake/garden with lots of rec time. Very soft and sunshine based, I think. 

9) what are the "bookmarks" in ao3 for? ://

Good question! I’ll explain the best way I know. So, you can bookmark a story to save it- when I finish an amazing story I bookmark it and add a little note like “holy shit this is so good read it again” so on days when I wanna read, instead of searching for a new story, I can go through my bookmark list. You can also bookmark a story when you’re only part of the way through and add a note like “chapter 4″ so you can remember where you were and easily find the story again.    People can also search through other people’s bookmarks. For example, If i read an author’s story and it’s so good and they don’t have any more (sad face) I go onto their bookmarks because most of the time, people like stuff similar to what they read- so if this author has bookmarked stories, chances are I’ll like them too! Not always, mind you, but a lot of the time this is a great way for finding new stories!    You can also add your own tags, for example if you didn’t think the author tagged it the way you would have.   And in case I did a horrible job (I think i did hahaha) here’s the link to ao3 explaining. Hope this helps!!!

My Thoughts on the Bumblebee 2018 movie

Well got tags done beware a long post, no spoilers, this is me talking about the film, and my experience with the franchise. All copied from my latest DeviantArt journal.

I think the best thing to just straight up say this is the best Transformers movie ever made like so many other folks have said. Unless we get another film that beats them. It's truly one of the best ranking above the 2007 live action film, and the 1986 animated film.

Especially I have quite a bit to say but no spoilers. How I saw this my brother seriously invited me along with his two friends who live in our neighborhood. Basically their my friends too but mostly my brothers. It was like one of those early showings but not midnight but yeah it was a 5:15 pm showing.

But yeah being invited kind of came out of the blue. Yet I'm grateful I've seen it because their seriously other films a lot or it seems like more I wanna see. So Bumblebee gets checked off.

Let me tell you this I literally looked on Wikipedia before this because theirs a some what mid credits scene or gonna spoil the surprise it's before the credits fully start or whatever. Because I was worried I missed anything. But seriously quite some stuff to talk about. Especially on Wikipedia I really wanted to know if this was honestly a reboot. Because my brother even called this out of how it's so different.

Sorry to ramble I'm gonna get into the movie first, then some personal feelings.

Really because it wasn't in my plans it was out of the blue. But I really did enjoy it a whole lot. I really liked the simple story especially the interactions between Bumblebee and Charlie played by Hailee Steinfeld. Also seriously all the characters are very nice some are just jerks or whatever. A lot of the characters are enjoyable.

Especially Charlie Watson as a main human protagonist is wonderful better then the likes or Sam and Cade from the other previous films. Including Hailee Steinfeld is honestly adorable. But just some personal thoughts. Especially John Cena as Agent Burns is another nice character and really I don't mind John Cena as a actor or a person and yeah I liked him another good part of this movie.

But okay the Autobots and Decepticons let me say Bumblebee isn't my favorite Transformers character but he's great in this. Especially our Decepticon antagonists.

The action was great as while like one of the better or as of now best action in the live action film series. It's not shot like how Michael Bay did it.

Including it was honestly quite humorous like generally funny. Especially emotional in parts because your invested in these characters. Along with the fact of how it feels like the lightest in the live action film series. But it's still very serious especially with our Decepticon antagonists when they show up, and even other stuff.

Also love those references just all that 80's stuff especially those Transformers references like G1. Including that entire beginning.

Let me talk about Blitzwing and that whole shit that happened with everyone thought he was Starscream but it wasn't Starscream it was Blitzwing.

I don't wanna spoil anything but he not in the movie very long. While I enjoyed his appearance his role is well....short but he is quite a threat.

Other then that I really enjoyed the film. It's just it's amazing I wasn't so emotional over it because it wasn't in my plans today. But I'm glad my brother invited me to see it with his friends.

Especially another thing I wanna talk about is me as a fan or ex fan of this franchise. Including on DeviantArt was where I talked more about it and Tumblr not so much.

I'll be honest the first live action film was the reason I became a fan. I saw that film four times especially with the Imax rerelease that was the fourth time. That film kind of I don't wanna say changed my life. But it was something amazing. Because of that film I became a fan of the franchise.

Over the years trying to stay a fan of the films despite the reception. It wasn't until the fourth film and I watched Nostalgia Critic's thoughts on that film where he basically took over Bum Reviews. I saw the fourth film twice just like the 2nd and 3rd. I was following Ragin Nation on the news of the film.

I tried to ignore Nostalgia Critic's video but that video changed me. So over time I became less of a fan or just I hated the Bayformers franchise basically the live action films. To a point and it still stands I took down all of my Transformers collections.

Including extreme stuff like I would disown people if they prefer the fourth film over the first three films. Because I even said Age Of Extinction broke me or something like that. I was weirdly depressed until I saw Guardians Of The Galaxy which I was surprised by and the MCU is a whole other story. But also Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks made me happy.

I didn't see the 5th film The Last Knight. It felt weird of not seeing it and still haven't watched it. Despite I've heard and read stuff of folks saying stuff like Ragin Nation, Shartimus Prime, Jeremy Jahns, and others. I felt grateful I didn't see the 5th film and more people didn't see it. Including the fact the 5th I don't know if I'm very sure but it's the lowest grossing of the live action films. I felt that gave Paramount and Hasbro the message the fact they stalled on the 6th film was because of that.

Especially why I say this feels like a reboot and I weirdly want it to be that. Because it's set so apart from the Bayformers despite some easter eggs and other stuff it wouldn't make sense in the Bayformers timeline like previous films in the series. Including what I've heard or whatever The Last Knight seems or looks like the true final film of that version of Transformers.

Including I feel and the attitude towards the films back in the day of how certain folks just accepted it and just we're in different times now. We deserve better and that might sound hypocritical of me.

But I'm just glad this Bumblebee movie exists and I'm really excited of what happens next.

Or something because I'm gonna be honest....can we see Charlie and Burns again? Might sound weird as hell just.....I wouldn't mind a sequel to this film which sounds stupid as hell. But also wouldn't mind if we get a older version of Charlie and Burns too probably.

Because seriously I enjoyed this film a lot. It's in the right direction. I recommend to any Transformers fan but also people wanting to see a good film but also giving this film franchise a chance now.

Really interested in that Cybertron movie even more now by the Ant Man writers or something.

SURE I’m glad you liked those! Everything by Memphis is A+ and I love it so if you haven’t you should check out more stuff by them ( No Ordinary Love is super nice, That’s Just Life is very dear to me and so is Divinity, Speechless is… my otp song for every otp ever tbh) -  Bring Me The Horizon is my fav post-hardcore band and both MMF and Chiodos are that genre so if you don’t know them give them a try! (Blasphemy, Run and Doomed are between my faves out of the latest album, and since you liked Under Your Halo you’re probably gonna like Follow You too) the album right before is amazing too if you’re okay with less melodic stuff, but the further back you go with BMtH the harder to listen to they get, just a heads up - Sleeping With Sirens are on the softer side of post-hardcore lately, Fly, Left Alone, Trouble, Fire and Empire To Ashes are some great ones, between the many, and, uhhhh, at this point I might have recced Nothing More a hundred times but let’s make it a hundred and one, try Funny Little Creatures, Do You Really Want It and Go To War out of the newest album! If you’re into punk and female voices you should check out Tonight Alive too, Jenna has one of my two fav female voices in rock right now (Crack My Heart and Temple are the latest two songs out!) and since I always rec stuff but I never rec anything by my favorite band ever, you ever heard of Alter Bridge? They’re more towards hard-rock/alternative metal, but check out Blackbird, Fortress, I Know It Hurts, Cradle To The Grave and Broken Wings just to make it one for every album I really, really adore this band and everything they ever made

LMAO this was about this one right? I’m sort of a fool honestly cause as I drew it it… didn’t feel actually all that angsty to me? I mean, obviously it doesn’t come after anything happy, but they’re working things out! Making an effort! Loving each other enough to try and understand each other better!! How much of the shit they say on a day to day basis is actually just catchphrases from other 1A kids repeated over and over again. It’s not a stupid question, don’t worry!! But I generally like to leave myself in Horikoshi’s hands for this sort of stuff, since I both enjoy the costumes as they are AND don’t want to be disappointed in case what I hope for doesn’t actually happen - that said, I’ve mentioned before that I’d really like Aoyama to get redirectors for his laser on his palms and for Kaminari to get a close combat weapon, since with the quirk he has anything metal would actually work wonders for him! He mentioned a sword, but I rest my case that tonfas would be cool, I really want him to use tonfas. A “costume” I don’t understand is Hagakure’s, by the way - would be nice if she got an actual costume and also I don’t really get why she’d wear gloves at all?? Mirio’s costume was made using his hair, I really want her to get something similar! That’s about it tho, I haven’t really thought much about anyone else in that sense~

Summary: You volunteer at the BFI Filmfestival in London to gain some experience in the film industry. Which also gave you the opportunity to meet certain actors and maybe a little more evolves around that.

A/N: Yes, I used many tumblr quotes and tried to get inspired by promptsforthestrugglingauthor. I also have no Idea how this fic will develop. I have the main Plot/ beginning and ending written down but I just started to write the actual chapters. I'm pretty anxious about posting so if you like to read more, feedback would be very much appreciated. P.S. I have never worked as a Volunteer at the Filmfest (Always wanted to, though!) so sorry in advance if I  gave wrong expectations! Also I don't know if Tom has attended but just imagine he did. It's Fanfiction. Unfortunately nothing happening on here is real anyway *sobs

It seemed, as his words were on repeat ever since Y/N had heard them for the first time. Listening to the sad, broken voice made her question her decision she made earlier but she couldn't help it. She needed to move on, needed to get her life back together. A new start, maybe somewhere far away from her current place. Current Situation.

A few months earlier:

„Go, go, go! We need to get this shit ready until 4PM. Y/N, you're being scheduled to serve the Champagne, Jill, you're down to put out the snacks. Alex, I need you at-“ It was a busy autumn afternoon in Central London. Volunteers, Caterer, Managers and Event-planners were running from one place to another, getting all ready for this years BFI Film-festival. Working usually as a concierge for a well known hotel chain, Y/N has decided that it would look good on her CV  to volunteer at the festival. She has always been interested in the Film and TV Industry, trying to get glimpses of interesting film sets and screenplays. Being a Hobby writer herself, she loved to imagine bringing her self written stories into life. Or at least to other people to read them. Wearing neat, black trousers and an ironed white Shirt, Y/N got ready to balance the trays with the Champagne on them. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail, only a few strands contouring her face. Excitement rose in her stomach as she thought how many people would attend the festival. Especially all the directors and Screenwriters, that had most of her interest. 'Okay, you can do that. You can hold the tray and balance it through the masses of people. Everything will end up all fine' repeating the prayer, to herself Y/N tried to remain calm, practicing the balance of the tray. As a Concierge, she didn't have to do these kind of jobs. Y/N was used to smile and check in people at the front desk of the hotel she worked in, instead of bringing food to the visitors as a waitress. Holding drinks and serving them to people has been a completely new situation and she took a few days off from work, just to be able to be here, at the Festival. Time was passing fast and people were still rushing around the halls, placing booklets, snacks and other information on the tables, that stood everywhere. Y/N shot a look to her colleague Jill, making sure she was at her place, taking care of the finger food and snacks, she was serving. Giving each other a thumbs up, Y/N prepared herself to start the main part of the volunteering. Offering drinks to the visitors.

The air outside was crisp but some last rays of sunshine shone through the cloud cover, indicating the sun to set in only a matter of time. The Filmfest was in full swing, producers, directors, actors and all kind of creators and attendees talking to each other, mostly about the films, that were nominated for awards or about to be released. Y/N had planted a smile onto her face, trying to be nice and friendly to every guest she served. To be honest, Y/N wasn't really a people person. Sitting at home, watching some Netflix or write Fanfiction would've been much better right now, but being an adult meant, having responsibilities and this volunteering definitely had some good future opportunities for her, at least she hoped. It started to get late, Y/N collected empty glasses, brought new fresh poured Champagne and offered it to everyone, who didn't seem to have a drink in hand. So many people were at the Festival. Men and women of every age. Y/N was happy, when she bumped into a group of people her age, offering the champagne from the tray she was holding the whole afternoon. “Fancy some Champagne?”, she would've asked, giving a sweet smile to the guests. One of the guys grinned, his blue eyes shimmering in the bright Theater light above them. “Thank you! Really need a drink”, he said, taking two glasses and giving one to the other guy, standing next to him. Smiling, Y/N turned around to look for other guests, not realizing that a pair of brown eyes started following her.

It was break time for Y/N, and she made herself comfortable in a little extra room, that was especially made for the staff. Jill and Alex followed suit, sitting down and eating their food, they got from the Theater. “Who did you guys got to meet?”, Alex suddenly asked, chewing on his Cheeseburger and waiting for the girls to answer. “Oh well”, Jill started, swallowing her food first. “I stood next to Benedict Cumberbatch and oh my … I just love that guy, okay?” she admitted, having a big bite of her burger after the confession. Y/N sat there, smiling at the blonde girls reaction. “And you?”, Alex asked and shot a look at Y/N. “I didn't really got to talk to people”, Y/N said, staring at her phone and checking if Y/F/N messaged her. “I mean, I saw some very well known actors but I was too shy to say something”, Y/N admitted. Alex nodded and took another bite of his burger. While still chewing, he said: “Well, I had a nice chat with Tom Holland and his friend. Didn't think he'd be the down to earth kind of guy”, Alex admitted and shot another look in Y/N's direction. “Anyway, did you notice that he was staring at you, Y/N?” The girl stopped eating for a second and gave Alex a confused look. It was a short silence, before she asked: “Why would he stare at me?” “Maybe he thinks you're cute?”, Jill suddenly added, winking to Y/N's direction. “Bullshit. Just because I have to be friendly to everyone here, doesn't mean I'm cute. You're making that up. Is this a prank or something?”, Y/N asked, throwing annoyed looks at her colleagues. Jill and Alex gave each other a confused stare before the boy spoke: “Why would we do that? No, I really mean it. I think he stared at you, at least it looked like that”, Alex insisted but Y/N shook her head, ignoring the dark haired guy while eating her chips. As if anybody would stare at her.

People usually did that, when she was wearing clothes, that didn't fit together or when she was having a bad day over all, feeling the strangers throwing looks at her. So why would, all of a sudden, a guy, that was somewhat famous, give her stares? Maybe she had something in her face earlier, so that he couldn't look away or maybe her shirt wasn't tucked into her trousers correctly and he was judging her for the it? Y/N checked her outfit and stood up, marching to the restrooms. She didn't want to hear another word from the other two volunteers, so she put her stuff away, to get ready for work afterwards. 'Why would he stare at me? What is wrong?', Y/N asked herself a couple of times while checking her looks in the mirror. The reflection showed a girl, that didn't seem to be happy at all. The corners of her moth were formed to a straight line. Her eyes looked tired and seemed to show little evidence of dark circles around them. Her shoulders where hanging low, and her overall posture indicated, that she was having a tough time. Being an introvert has had definitely it's downs. She liked to go out and be together with people but that also meant, that it would cost her lot's of energy. Y/N couldn't wait to be done working for tonight, go home and just throw herself into bed, replenish all her energy for the next day. Sometimes, she would just stay home for days, not even talking to people because it was more comfortable. But then again, other days she needed Company and then she'd hang out with Y/F/N, her best friend.   Being stuck in her thoughts, Y/N didn't realize that the latest movie just finished, filling up the halls with people. Just when a woman came into the restroom, Y/N realized that she had to get back to the bar, filling up and serving glasses of champagne. She put on her brightest smile, leaving the restroom with all her strength to finish up the last hours of her shift. 

“Thank you!”, the tall, dark haired man said, taking a glass of champagne, turning around to a group of other actors. Y/N's tray was blank again so she decided to grab empty glasses that were spread around the hall on the high tables. She didn't realize, that someone was following and talking to her, until she felt a hand resting on her elbow. A bit too sudden, she turned around to face the guy from earlier.

“Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. Just wanted to check if you have more champagne with you”, the blue eyed guy said. Y/N recognized him and smiled. “Let me return these glasses and I bring a new bunch”, she offered and turned quickly around to grab more of the bubbly drinks. Walking back to where the guy stopped her, she saw him talking to the other guy he was together earlier with. Trying to be confident, Y/N walked over to them quickly with a small smile on her lips. “Gentlemen, your drinks”, she offered and hold the tray between the two of them. “Thanks”, both said, taking the glasses, smiling at Y/N. She was about to turn around and leave, to serve more of the drinks, but the blue eyed got hold of her arm again. “Are you one of the volunteers here”, he asked, taking a sip of his drink. “Uhm, yeah... Yes I actually got the position because of my friend. She's kinda good with her contacts”, Y/N told the guys, smiling shyly. They were both quite good looking and she did not expect anyone to hold a conversation with her that night at all. It was always just that usual small talk, no real conversations happening. “Oh, is she here?”, now the brown eyed guy asked, looking around the filled hall. “Yes, somewhere. She's probably talking to some well known Directors for her Radioshow”, Y/N explained, getting nods of approval. “Sounds pretty interesting, whats her name?”, the taller guy asked. “Y/F/N”, was the simple answer and she felt jealousy built up in her stomach. Of course people would ask about the well known friend instead of getting to know the cheap volunteer. Suddenly Y/N felt bitter, and about to leave but the two boys kept on talking to her. “Must be super exhausting for you, to be available for everyone here, isn’t it?” “Yeah, it is indeed. But on the other hand I can tell that I volunteered and it probably looks good on my CV as well”, she answered. “I bet it does. What's you'r name?”, the blue-eyed asked, emptying his glass. “Y/N, and who are you guys?”

“I'm Harrison and this is Tom. You might know him though, the new Spiderman?”

Y/N blinked a few times before she caught herself staring at Tom. Was he really Tom Holland, the new Spiderman guy? It felt like a light bulb illuminated insight her head and her eyes widened at the sudden realization. “You really are the Spiderman guy! Oh my god I'm so sorry that I didn't recognize you!”, Y/N said a little too hectic. A little laugh sounded from their lips as Y/N felt her face heat up.

'So maybe Alex wasn’t wrong over all?', she thought, feeling guilty about her reaction earlier. “It's refreshing not being recognized immediately. Are you from here?”, Tom asked, and Y/N nodded. But before she could say where abouts, a voice sounded behind her. “Y/N I need you back here. Can you please come over?”, it was Jennifer, Y/N’s supervisor. With a sad smile, Y/N said her goodbye to the guys and left them quickly, seeing what Jennifer wanted.

Being lost in her thoughts, she didn't realize that the blonde, tall women had a grim expression on her face. “Y/N, I understand that having humour is a good thing and talking to our Guests fun, but please, can you take care everyone else too?  We cant lose these guests just because of you being starstruck and fangirling at certain actors here”, the tall blonde women said, giving the girl a stare down. “Sorry Jennifer. I just kind of went with the flow”, Y/N said, earning a look of anger from her boss. “Then just don't go with the flow. I just need you to do your job. Nor more, not less”.

“Alright, Ma'am” Walking back to the hall, Y/N searched for Tom and Harrison but after a few minutes of walking around, she accepted the fact, that the boys were gone. But at least, she had a little fun tonight, which was nice. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

This is waaaay too hard 😩 You know what, I’ll just mention the very first fanfic I read instead, which made me wanna set up tent here and stay forever and read all the possibilities this fandom could offer. Hey! I used to follow you on Deviantart. I loved reading your Mias and Elle fanfiction. It was very well written and interesting. I was wondering if you have tips for someone who is starting to write fanfiction, especially since the subject matter is going to be about Mias and Elle. Thanks very much and keep up the awesome work. :D

Well my process isn’t very neat. Usually a start with an idea of a particular scene and build a plot around that for your outline of the story. Now I’ve never finished the long Mias and Elle fics so their endings have changed and gone over the years. That’s the problem with me which is why my latest fics I’m aiming to keep shorter and I’m holding off on posting until most of it is complete.Anyway, once you have your story outlined, for fics, I look at the canon universe vs. alternative universe for the setting. Now AU allows for way more freedom since a majority of canon details are still known only to Miss Jenny, so I like to try and base any settings around those confines, but if I wanna get something more crazy like introducing the Aquila (tho I really shoulda used a more Norse sounding word rather than Greek - one of my many self criticisms), I find offering a foreign setting makes it blend in better. I don’t know how accurate any info I have from Miss Jenny still is, but primarily the setting at least in terms of designs were Tudor era and into the 17th century. It’s good to expand your knowledge of this time in history not only to look for ideas, but sometimes info you find can foreshadow stuff in the comic. One idea I had but never developed was the fact that back in the 17th century, it was common for maids to jerk-off their teen boy masters to help them get to sleep at night. So you know that now.And though I ended up betraying this rule in both fics, I really try not to create too many OCs, or if I do, I try not to focus on them anymore as no one is reading your fic for them. They want the two main characters. As fun as it is to develop your own character, too many fics I’ve read introduced OCs I either didn’t find believable to the realm or focused way too much of the story on them. I love my babies, but I reread my fics and shake my head frequently... I’m not saying don’t do it, but just be very aware you now have to fit in a character you made into a world you didn’t. Names are my biggest pet peeve with that, but that’s a rant for another time.Um, if you’re here on tumblr, checking out the writing tips tag can give ya good stuff. There’s a good one out there for words to use instead of ‘said’ and also lists of uncommon, but useful words. So a good vocabulary shows good skill, and grammar is of course important. Review the different kinds of punctuation to make sure you use them right - I’m sure I err every now and then, but I hope I’ve gotten better over the years. I tend to write as third-person omnipotent for my stories, but I did a fic in first person once. Both are fine, but what I don’t get are stories written in the present tense rather than past. Not that it’s inherently ‘wrong’, but I think if you’re “telling a story” the story has already happened thus your tense should be in the past. Let’s see... trying to think of other stuff... um, I often just “scene sketch” as I call it, writing scenes just to get them written instead of toiling with transitions. It helps with writer’s block at times. I try to write relatively chronologically, but if I think of a scene I know I’ll want in a few pages, I may write it first and then work on the transitional material.And never force yourself to write. I’ve never had good results or felt good about anything I’ve written when I forced myself. As frustrating as it is, my best is produced in long spurts of inspiration. Like maybe I’ll get one day in a month where I can write non stop for 6 hours and have nothing the rest of the month aside from editorial corrections, but usually I’ll have a nice chunk of material to work with and I’ll mentally feel better about constructing it into a story.

That’s about all I can think of, aside from the obvious: read more books and fics. I dunno how right of a process this might be for you, but it works for me. It’s hard for me to give flat out tips other than if I read something I know immediately whether it’s good or bad so I’m sorry if this isn’t very helpful. Good luck!

FNAF Movie News I Seriously Missed

12:12 am weird shit to say went to photo by mistake one time and time out and in of submit thing. Yet just saying I was looking for a link and I'm typing on my phone. I actually missed this and found out on the Wikipedia page for the FNAF franchise after watching Dawko's audio reading of chapter 1 of FNAF The Silver Eyes. Their was littertly a sad quiet just I gas just now or some shit. But in the words of Lori Loud littertly I actually littertly went oh my God in a sad toned voice. The news of Gil Kenan the man who was the original director for the film was not the director anymore when the FNAF movie rights went to Blumhouse Productions. I even looked at his Twitter and this one Tweet. Including what is sad during the day which was yesterday it's Tuesday now. My mom, her sister, my cousin T's baby girl, forgot if bro was there. Monster House was on and Gil directed that. It was honestly my biggest hope and well reasons to get hype well it was one of them. Along with Scott being on board. Had to fix the bro thing but okay just..... Really I was quite sad I didn't know about this said in my head it sucks and oh random shit. Because I remember when I first heard about the news he would direct he was teasing the inspirations for the animatronics and other stuff. Okay I don't wanna sound rude yet I wanna be honest. I was also worried because after Monster House okay not Loud House oh head his films seems like they were getting worse. I don't wanna sound stupid. Mainly it's the Rotten Tomatos score for the other films he's made. Such as City Of Amber and the Poltergeist remake with rotten scores. Honestly I make my own opinions these days I do think Rotten Tomatos is a okay site. I just disagree with certain stuff it's just the power all of a sudden it has now on films. Including it's just a site where they collect scores I'm not gonna explain it. Rotten Tomatos is a different site. Seriously I liked how he seemed to have passion for the project and wanting to work with Scott. But it's nice he still likes FNAF and he hopes for a great movie. Also honestly I was thinking when I saw this news. I'm gonna sound stupid. I do feel no not out of the way Gil I really liked Monster House sorry your not part of it anymore. But to be honest I'm kind of glad we will get another director. Including with my mindset on some FNAF stuff. I do feel it's also a nice thing to search for a director with some more experience and their reception in Hollywood. Really a pick I thought of is James Wan. The only film I've seen from him is Furious 7 and I liked that film. Also it's mainly his work on The Conjuring franchise. I'll be honest and only told someone on here. Ever since seeing Annabelle Creation and how I was honestly impressed and my first real exposure to the franchise. But James Wan didn't direct that I think he produced it. Gonna look it up. So yeah he produced it. Still liked what the director did with that movie. Even at times from what I hear producers at times have a big or little impact on films. From what I've heard and seen what people think of the main films The Conjuring 1 and 2 and right now rewrote and typed the latest film in the franchise name itself. Yet I've even looked on Tumblr just random shit I'm mentioning. Including James Wan loves practical effects a lot. Almost put including again sorry but Gil was talking about of making the animatronics real and teasing inspiration for them. That's a good thing. Also he seems to be a very good director. He's mainly my top pick and I hope he understands the franchise. No offense I kind of want someone who has had more experience with horror mainly in modern times right now. Including if he was chosen hope he would work with Scott well. Seriously The Conjuring franchise I'm very interested in it. Thinking this Halloween might just watch some stuff just...I'm thinking okay. Yet as of now James Wan is filming Aquaman. Including he seems to be heavily involved with The Conjuring franchise. Along with The Conjuring 3 might be in production soon when ready because they've talked about it. Also the other cool things he's involved with the Mortal Kombat reboot mainly producer if I'm right and a reboot to the Resident Evil franchise. Okay I'm not the biggest fan but it was brutal and it was good kick ass said in my head stop. Including have seen lots or bits almost left buts and but ha sorry. Yet seen lots and bits of films like 300, Watchmen, and I've talked about these films Man Of Steel, Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice the ultimate edition I like those films. I can't wait for Justice League this year. Yes the jokes symbolism and the visuals are beautiful. If it almost left toes just if it goes like that. Really honestly with the right script we could be pretty okay and I think he might be okay with working with Scott. Yet with the shit that happened this year and the DCEU. Really I don't wanna stress him out. Also I love James Wan just I like that choice much more. No offense Zack and hey their both in the DCEU too. Also random shit Gil likes the FNAF community which is nice farewell just oh head. Yet Jason Blum talks about the series has a rabid fanbase and without Scott it wouldn't be a good movie. Including Jason says and I looked and just looked again using the same creator of the game he thinks it will be a great movie. That's really cool and this year with Get Out doing very well and seeming like a great movie. Also Split doing well not just in box office like Get Out yet also critical even in the 70's percentage on Rotten Tomatos. Yet seriously I feel even as a Autistic person I didn't go see the film and haven't seen it yet due to people not liking it because of how the movie portrays split personalities. Yet it's nice it got some fresh score and M Night making better movies now which is also great. From what I remember think it was let me look so checked yes The Visit. So M Night is making better films again. Yeah I got off the link screw it I'll check it just on Midnight's Edge's channel like usual. So checked it it also says Jason Blum feels secure about the film. Checked again and says Scott will be heavily involved since day one. That is really sweet and for some reason hearing Jaeroar's voice. Also I'm gonna be honest about me talking about directors. These were my choices and I really like James Wan to be involved. Because just I feel it fits. Including just I'm feeling and thinking good things of The Conjuring franchise. Yet it's Scott choice and I keep thinking. Because I think he personally chose Gil when looking for a director. Including since Scott being heavily involved in day one. I feel like Jason Blum and anyone with Scott will want to understand and listen what Scott thinks which director and who else fits to direct the film. It's what I said in the post about the live action fan casting and other stuff mentioned in that. I will respect if Scott wants to chose another director I don't know if they are doing that right now. Even if I think James Wan and Scott Cawthon would work perfectly for a great FNAF movie. If Scott wants someone else I'll respect that even the other idea Zack Snyder and Scott Cawthon weird combination of talent yet it was on my mind. Because really I'm gonna say FNAF is not perfect and Scott isn't perfect. Yet the respect I have for Scott as a person and someone who makes games including when I was more obsessed with the franchise.
