kind of fascinating to me when i see people say sonic boom is the reason they like sonknux or that sonic boom has the most "evidence" (for lack of a better word) in support of sonknux or that boom sonknux is their favorite version of them . because they are one of my least favorite versions of them. not out of active dislike or anything but because it just doesnt hit the same

#i cant even think of any sonic and knuckles moments that really stood out to me a lot in sonic boom off the top of my head at all actually #meanwhile with other media i can think of so many interactions theyve had that im insane over #ive never played the sonic boom games though so maybe theres something im missing there ....#but i kinda doubt it because i dont care about any ships at all in the context of sonic boom. idk what romance people are seeing in there #but i am not seeing any . outside of the obviously canon things of amy liking sonic and tails liking zooey #and i love them platonically too not just in a shipping way but again their personalities are so different in boom #that it makes me not care about them together as much as i do in other universes #because its not the same dynamic i love so much
