hi and thank you!! so the first 2 times that smut happens in my fic i DO put a warning in the beginning notes, but overall, FROM WHAT I REMEMBER, smut happens in chaps 16 (not a sex scene tho...just some solo seb BAHHA), 23, 26, 27, and 32. there could be more im missing tho/smaller scenes i dont remember, so if you wanna be absolutely certain, you could also read it on ffnet! that site doesnt allow explicit content, so i cut the scenes out before uploading it there. (but i honestly would recommend just skimming past the smut on either ao3 or wattpad, since the ver of my fic that's on ffnet is a lot less polished/not edited💀 and sometimes dialogue happens before/after the smut, but i think i just cut it out entirely in the ffnet ver, i cant remember...) Ohh I kinda see them as not liking eachother Gregory kinda gets his bias off of Christophe, since Christophe and Herbert dont like eachother either in my hc they fight a lot Gregory sees Herbert as just.. repetitive? Gregory doesn't care about manners, at all, unless he sits with adults like his parents in which he just keeps quiet the whole time. And so Herbert's constant reminders about doing things at the table or other places will really urk him, like a "I didnt ask" type of deal Herbert's perspective to Gregory is trying to keep positive, but after the reactions and bias he also has grown a dislike and not trusting of him

Hi, hello, I'm sorry for barging in unexpectedly, but I just wanted to tell you that your and @slug-ball's ideas about Emma-May/Stan have bewitched me body and soul, and I maaayyyy (read: definitely) have already sketched some stuff and outlined a lil au fic idea for them 😳💖💖💖

Not sure if you've ever heard "Feel Again" by OneRepublic, but I listened to it again recently and it fits them SO well imo, like, verse 1 = Stan's POV, verse 2 = Emma-May's POV, then of course the chorus = both together and I just AAAAAAAAAA I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AAAAAAAAA

Even tho we know very little about her, I feel like Emma-May's narrative is almost as tragic as Fidds' is, and I wish we could get more info about her and I wish she wasn't such an ignored/forgotten character and uuuggghhh it's so frustrating. BUT I can really see potential for a pairing of her and Stan cuz they're both such damaged, hurting souls and the idea of them coming together to help each other heal from their respective trauma is just so *chef's kiss* to me, hhhhhhhh 😍 (Also I just feel like Stan was MADE to be a step-dad figure, lol.)

All the world views us as disposable and tragic fables and constantly gaslights us about our own lived truths. The goalpost for acceptance in the queer community doesnt even exist because so much of it is just built on a reappropriation of amatanormative standards and it really feels like there’s simply nowhere to go and nobody to turn to because no one thinks of us. Anyone who cant understand the language of desire is exiled from its community of speakers, and to me each day feels like ive been doomed to drift through some kind of purgatorial void for my entire life. We cant have our own language, culture, or history. People say oppression of aro and ace people isnt “as bad”, but that’s the thing, we’re not even allowed to describe our exclusion and silencing and erasure and abuse and tokenizing as “violence” at all. Perhaps due to a certain assumption of inevitability, or some belief that amatormativity is natural to an extent. And im really tired of being ridiculed and dismissed and of being pressured into relationships that would make me miserable. Im really tired of no one thinking it is worth their time or energy to understand my perspective on relationships and desire. Im really tired of being the butt of jokes about being single. Im really tired of being my friends’ second or third priority. Im really tired of feeling worthless and stupid. And mostly im just Tired. And i wish when people saw me they saw my pain and hurt for what they are instead of painting their own colors over it to fix me.

I hope you could find some solace in venting out your feelings to me. I understand a lot of this. I have had multiple wonderful relationships almost if not fully fall apart because I would not give someone the security of having a partner, and I have in the past gotten myself in relationships with the sole scope of not losing someone like that. Don't even have to say it but it didn't end well for anyone.

Our struggles are silent to the rest of the world. Most people don't know we exist and so could not even begin to think about how we're feeling. To the people to whom we exist we still can't be doing that bad because obviously the whole world doesn't know us. It is a struggle every identity who faces in invisibility knows.

But I don't think it's hopeless. Asexual activism has done great steps in the last few years and I am extremely hopeful that we aromantic can take the same. And together we can show ourselves to the whole world and be free.

btw thanks to a friend that was so kind to lend me her rain code copy (tysm arisa if you see this) I've been able to play it - im currently on the mystery labyrinth of ch2, so here's some impressions of the game under the cut (mind the spoilers) (and also dont send spoilers ty)

Love the visuals of the game! I think the 3d is implemented really well and the setting of Kanai Ward is really fun - I just wish there was a pc port because the switch hardware is just. man. I wish I could see everything in HD instead of 380p but it might just be the switch lite lmao

I like shinigami's magical esque's sequences I just hate that they reduced the utena reference to another sex joke. cant have shit in kanai ward

speaking of references, I do like the danganronpa easter eggs but I liked the ace attorney stepladder one even more

I also really like shinigami I just wish she would shut up sometimes

same with desuhiko lmao

prologue was the strongest part of the game so far, MAYBE because it is reminescent of the 'locked place' murders in dr, maybe because everyone gets wasted, i dunno, it was just really fun

ch1 completely lacked what I'd call the emotional component that usually makes games like AA and DR stand out to me - ie I don't have any strong attachment to the victim or the accused, so I feel like I'm just solving puzzles. the puzzle part was still fun tho, and Halara is a great character

ch2 kinda fixed that emotional component with the girl-I-cant-remember-her-name-sorry that you spend time with before the second murder happens

ch2 also felt really fun from a campy perspective, with the disguise stuff going on!! (I do wish shinigami would stop calling yuma a pervert for trying to investigate a murder while dressed as a girl tho)

I do like chief yakou, he's cool in that very pathetic sad man kinda way

I really really love the sprite work, it's SO fun to look at the character's expressions,,, I also love desuhiko's goofy design, it's so fun

you can really feel the budget behind this one, unlike WEC that was just,,, a pain both gameplay wise and story wise, unfortunately 😔 I'm still sad it didnt turn out as good as I wanted it to be

anyway ive been having fun so far so I look forward to keep playing it

This switch-up on Tengen is giving me whiplash man...

I mean, I'm happy people are finally appreciating her as an actual character and are starting to see her influence on the story and I'm certainly stoked for the up tick in fanart (hope it last past the release of Vol 23), but it's just so weird to go from the fandom being like "ugly old man, stop taking up screentime" to "oh she's a woman?? who knew? not like she literally told us that. she's hot? suddenly I can recognize her as an actual character"

If you only like/are interested in Tengen when she's young and pretty, you're missing out. Have you seen her hands?! Also, ageing is her whole thing. It's literally her superpower. It's part of what makes her so interesting. And in terms of her relationship with Kenjaku, the older she gets, the more her body ages, the more appealing she becomes for them. This young appearance is like a slap in the face because she only looks like this for a few years after the merger, the thing Kenjaku dedicated 1000 years to preventing. Her looking like this means they failed.

I feel if you're gonna be in it for the old people yuri, you shouldn't exclude the "old" part of it. I mean, ultimately people can ship and enjoy a character however they want, I just want Tengen to get appreciation for who she really is (old, stubborn, dangerously disinterested and passive granny) and not just be the hot girl of the week.

I'm really looking forward to the exploration of their relationship and characters in the future. Like all the drama of how Kenjaku currently copes with having almost reached their goal and having lost Tengen (you're doing amazing honey, sitting all alone, talking to yourself). I'm stoked for their backstory too. I still believe they used to have a teacher-student relationship and to a degree still do (Tengen calls Kenjaku a child, they call her old like every other sentence). Just how they both contributed to jujutsu society existing the way it does is so fascinating.

YukiTen...now that's something I haven't thought about at all. I can see the potential with the vessel breaking away and defying her "destiny" thing, but honestly, to me it just feels like Yuki suffering through hanging out with her abusive, conservative grandma. Also, wouldn't this count as twincest? selfcest? Their relationship is certainly interesting and honestly nightmare fuel from Yuki's perspective. Is she just hearing constant whispers from the previous vessels? Screams? You could've gotten a lot more drama out of their interactions. Instead of muddy Choso, I would've been really interested in hearing how Yuki feels about fighting and dying for the person she was made to submit her body and soul to. She managed to keep her personhood, but ultimately still died for Tengen's sake. Pointlessly. Honestly, her death ended up being not so different from Riko's aside from the fact that she chose it. Even if she won, would protecting Tengen really feel that much better? She's basically fighting to perpetuate the system she technically wants to dismantle.

Anyway, I have a lot of thoughts about the two, but I don't ship them.

It honestly seems like Thomas has shifted the purpose of the SS series. What started as a series that questions identity, motivation, moral conflict, etc., has turned more into a brand. This is so disappointing because this series is appropriate for young audiences to watch, and the discussions the episodes touch on are so important for them to think about.

I understand that he is his own person and can pursue different interests, but from my perspective, it doesn't seem like he cares about those discussions considering all the branding and ads lately.

Not to mention how his aversion of criticism contrasts with the open-minded nature of most of Season 2. If he doesn't like being considered a role model for young people, he should be honest about it.

Why i dont think they shouldve won

The thing with priya is that she tells u from the very beginning that winning td is the goal her family set for her and have been prepping her to do w a lot of extreme things like throwing melons at her and leaving her in the woods, not even something she wants to do for herself but with the hope her family lets her study medicine if she wins. But they want her to become a reality tv star. While i think she has worked hard, idk it kinda sucks (not entirely i mean she is a millionaire now) that ultimately she doesnt learn that she can be her own person w her own decisions. When she learns millies been writing about how weird their family dynamic is she doesnt even think about how it looks to a person outside, but immediately jumps to defend her parents and doesnt even find it concerning. Like millies painted like the bad guy for being like “um? Wtf is wrong w this girls parents am i rite?” Obviously bad to go behind someones back and write about them, but in a way i think priya couldve had a different perspective apply to her family here and try to benefit from it and had a moment like “is..this not ok…it is right my parents love me and want the best for me thats why they do this..right?”

I think it wouldve been an important lesson for her to lose td. It wouldve been more eye opening and a great opportunity for character building/learning moment. Which wouldve been great for millie to also help her out in overcoming the grief and pain she feels when letting her parents down. Millie couldve come in and told her that its okay, (not entirely bc she lost a million dollars) that she doesnt have to let what her parents want for her define her. That she can do medicine if she wants and it should be okay. That shes done great and put in a lot of hard work and helped her and trained her to help her with td as well, and if her parents cant be proud of how far she has come then she should at least be proud of herself bc as someone who had been studying her before this, millie is proud of her. I think it wouldve solidified millie as more of her best friend as she helped priya learn she was more than a reality tv star to be, she was her own person w wants and needs and i think losing wouldve opened her up to see that.

Hell even during the s2 announcement priya couldve had a moment where she stops like “i’m not doing the new season for my parents. This time i wanna do it for me” or some flowery shit like that? That’s just me, i know fresh likes to reward characters for being nice and all, but idk i just think having priya win the way her parents wanted her to is such a missed opportunity to help her overcome her anxieties about not being what her family wants and stepping outside of the norm? Obviously one can argue that she doesnt see anything wrong w the way her parents prep her up and treat her, but w millie by her side she could see how bad it actually is that her parents would leave her alone in the woods for survival just so she can be prepared to win td? Oh well, maybe s2 😔
