I made a prop!

I made a replica of the jvc gr-c1 camcorder (as seen in the scene in the parking lot specifically)

I spend two days on making a 3d model. It took me six days to seperate it into smaller parts, fix some mistakes, slice, 3d print the 6 parts and to glue all of it together. And after a couple of days of painting i was done.

Even though it is missing some deatails, has some stuff i got wrong and is a tiny bit too small i really love how it turned out. It feels very nice to hold it.

#honestly i cant believe that i made this entire thing from scratch #it looks so good #and in case you were wondering why i specified a scene:#its because later in the movie the carrying handle at the top is attached the other way around #which i didnt notice until i had already glued the parts together #idk maybe if i'd known earlier i would have tried making it attach via velcro or something #i cant carry the model by the carryinghandle anyways #since the part bends so easily im scared that it might snap if it had to hold all the weight #bttf #back to the future #jvc gr-c1
