CONTEXT UTC:

So, I know you guys have a lot of questions, and I can't blame you. I know the biggest one in your mind right now, which is:

Why did I end Flawed early?

The reason why I ended Flawed was actually multiple. Please keep in mind that these are for my observations, and overall I'm not blaming anyone for this. I just noticed it and thought I should bring it up lol.

1. Writing for days burnt me out.

Although Flawed is a passion story/project of mine, writing so much burnt me out. And by a lot. There were days I struggled to think of writing because I have other commitments to do, and sometimes its why polls came out super late or super early. I tried to compensate for it by posting 1 poll a day, but when it didn't work, I pushed myself to make more for 1 day.

I wanted so badly for the whole event to flow like a CYOA because by next month (April), I won't be free to host this as I used to with OLC. However, in that process, I burnt myself out to the point I needed to take longer breaks/forget this event.

It sucks. I would not recommend doing this if you think you want to (because it is NOT worth it).

2. Interactions were... Lacking.

This event is interaction heavy, and the reason why is because you guys control the story that Yesterday and others are in. Naturally, this also affects the characters and how I shape Flawed from start to finish. I have a plot line for it, of course, but the interactions were... Not there.

I noticed the usual ones from my mutuals, sure, but there were moments that I felt like I was simply posting to no one. It was unfortunate during the time with Diluc, where I had hoped that some of you would go, but due to complications (ahem, the votes weren't able to decide on going when the deadline was up), I had to write how it's supposed to go with some... Changes.

It also made me feel sad to see that there weren't much (if at all) interactions to Yesterday. Tinuvion received a fair bit, which is nice because he's a little shit (please bully him lol), but Yesterday after the first week and a half just... Didn't get any. At least, in my records.

I'm not saying this to guilt you guys to interact more, but I am saying this because it feels sad for me to see that unlike OLC, this... Flopped. I had a lot of responses + moments planned if it took off that much, but... Oh well. There's always that one story that won't hit for everyone.

And finally:

3. Maybe you guys wanted it to be catered to you, not to an OC.

I had a feeling that, from the start, Flawed may not take off.

Unlike One Last Call (which was a matchup event + story), Flawed was a CYOA but you guys aren't the main focus/MC, Yesterday (my oc) is. I was hoping that with this method, you guys get to play the omnipotent voice and see how far the story can go until it's conclusion.

However, as I hosted the event for the next few days to weeks, I realized that it was simply too difficult. Maybe I wasn't prepared to host this type of format, as ambitious as it is, but I realized that maybe, you guys don't deserve this format and I should've made it catered to a reader insert instead.

It was hard for me to swallow the pill that this event may not be fun for the majority. I knew that having an OC be the MC + canon characters interact with them may be flaky at best (esp the whole OC x Canon being... well. very much a huge "oh dear"), but seeing minimal interaction/interest than my friends were (and people I admire, too. Hi Harmony! o/!!) and realizing that maybe I shouldn't have done this just... Made me regret it.

For that, I'd like to say:

I'm so, so sorry that this event failed. I'm very sorry if you guys expected it to be like OLC: about the reader/reader insert format.

I know it's not right for me to apologize, but I feel that I have to. I let all of you down, and I don't want you guys to be disappointed in something that you all don't like to see in this blog.

So I decided that I'll run this event in its own blog, but here's the thing.

I don't know if I should keep Yesterday in the blog.

I have to open up a poll for this, so here's the options you guys have for it's fate:

If you guys want it to be a reader insert game (aka you are the main star, not Yesterday), I will set up a menu to BUILD your personal darling.

This means that you guys get to decide how darling will look, the gender, their preferences, and even their job. However, this will be for your darling, and if darling dies, you can't use them anymore.

PROS: This is catered to the reader, and thus, you guys are the ones to choose your own destiny. I won't be the one to decide this time, and if the majority agrees on a specific option, your darling will do just that. This is also more open for variety + reader/canon interaction because I know some of you would have a lot of fun being able to see yourselves in the story.

CONS: When your darling dies, you get the chance to restart. However, the game will continue on with a new darling you guys will have to make and the stats reset to zero. The characters will also mention your past darling, and you'll have to restart from scratch. I still need to tweak this, but just know that it is VERY tricky for you if your first darling dies.

If you guys want it to stay the same (Yesterday is the MC), the format will remain the same.

This means what you witnessed here in the blog WILL happen on the other blog.

PROS: You guys get to either continue or restart with Yesterday's story, and with newfound knowledge, you get to choose more options that were previously unavailable. This also opens up to you all being able to essentially shape Yesterday's outlook + what'll happen to them, because you are the one guiding them to their happy ending.

CONS: This one does not offer a restart like the reader insert (one try only), and this could result to another "this'll flop because many people aren't interested". We've seen it happen here, so please decide wisely.

If you guys want BOTH, the format will be different as you have the option to build a darling (reader insert) or stick to Yesterday's story.

This means there will be a new system for both options to be available, alongside new menus!

PROS: You guys get to have a chance of an 'easy route' or 'hard route' and all of you can use your experience/s to get your desired ending for either one <3 go crazy lol

CONS: If you choose one of the two options for both, the latter will be locked. That's the only consequence I have for this one tbh.

So yes, I'd like to say thank you, and sorry for the fail of Flawed on this blog. I wish I could give you all the quality like in OLC, but there were... Too many things to consider. Sobs.

If you guys still want to continue, please lmk. I worked hard on Flawed and I still want to continue, but this time, its a permanent event and will be on my own pace.

Joshua Rosfield/Suraya Murdoch (Final Fantasy 16) These two have lived rent-free in my head and my soul since Final Fantasy 16 game out. Still waiting for it to come to PC so I can actually play it but I digress. Hasn't stopped my brain from coming up with something. Somehow their story ended up being childhood friends to lovers to boot. Normally I go for an older man, younger woman vibe. But for these two? It's reversed and it's wild and I adore it. Joshua being the inheritor of the Rosarian Duchy and Suraya being the adopted daughter of Rodney and Hanna Murdoch. So, the two of them inadvertently got pushed together during the early years since her father wanted her to get the most out of her upbringing, self-defense being a top priority along with her studies. Suraya was and still is incredibly protective of Joshua's happiness and hated his mother with a burning passion for how she treated all of them, even to her own detriment. That said, Joshua formed feelings first when they were children, but never had a chance to speak of them before the fall of Phoenix Gate. So it was years before anything could happen. Suraya on the other hand, never had a chance to even think about it until they were reunited, and she had to come to terms with the fact that her ten-year-old friend was no longer a boy, but was actually a young man determined to bring her the happiness and joy she gave him, should she wish it.

Vergil/Alya (Devil May Cry) These two shitheads have also been living rent-free in my head since 2019 and have given me at least five different massive fanfic reworks since then. And it continues to morph and change so I just keep flipping my desk over at this point. Anyway, for these two it was never an overt thing. They pretty much fell together without ever explicitly talking about it as neither was looking for a relationship. Behind the scenes Dante was over Vergil's bullshit, Trish and Lady were over Alya's bullshit, and Nero was like: fuck that I'm not getting involved, and watched from the sidelines with Nico who had a betting pool that everyone was in on much to the pair's annoyance after the fact. Either way, Alya wanted answers after her father was murdered and Devil May Cry is who ended up coming to her aid. To that end, it opens up a massive can of demons and angels. But those angels aren't your traditional light and loving kind. Having the upbringing Vergil had, or lack thereof after his mother's death, he was always wary about opening up again, and in many ways still is, but Alya takes it in stride. And for that, Vergil is silently grateful. In turn, he is her protector and rock, and a good listening ear. What he can't say in verbal words, he will say in written poetry. This is more of my status quo, older man, younger woman vibe, but with the added bonus of magic, demons, and a slow-burn romance.

Graha Tia/Khulan Noykin (Final Fantasy 14) Listen, when I got into Final Fantasy 14 back during ARR, me and my Warrior of Light didn't think too much of the Allagan cat boy. He was a friend, nothing more to her at the time, and while she did mourn for him when he locked himself in the Crystal Tower, she also understood. Plus, she was dealing with her own feelings for a certain rogue bard soon-to-be gunbreaker. It wasn't until Shadowbringers that Graha Tia came in dropkicking Khulan in the face, and Thancred being a complete ass didn't help. Khulan during this time saw much of herself in Graha Tia's willingness to die for a cause and hated it. Not him of course, but seeing a mirror of some of your faults is never a fun thing. As their friendship developed after defeating Emet Selch, it eventually became a dance around the subject of feelings. Graha never feeling like he was good enough for her and Khulan feeling the exact same way but of herself towards him. Everyone else saw it as it was blatantly obvious, but the events of Endwalker came before anything could become of it. Khulan ends up in a dark place during this time, almost robotic like her ARR self, but a lot more deadly than her early days of being just an arcanist. It's when she begins losing her friends that the walls around her heart begin to break, and Graha's sacrifice was the breaking point. When all of it was over and they were back home, the two of them start to explore something more as Khulan recovered from her fight with Zenos. Now, going into the events of Dawntrail, me nor Khulan know where this is going to go. But hey! it's a new adventure!

We're going back to when I was but a small eight/nine year old child and loved Ash and Misty as a pairing. During this time I didn't know what fandom was or that people wrote fanfic and created art. So it was mostly me creating terrible drawings. Did I self insert into pokemon as well? Of course I did! lol

Comment about OC commissions and edits. Please read if you're a commissioner and/or plan on commissioning me in the future!

Hey! So I figured I should say this in light of recent (and a few similar past) commissions I've been receiving.

As many of you know, I draw and design OCs, as well as draw Canon x OC or OC x OC couples as requested. However, sometimes, clients ask me to read their fanfics and/or original stories to get a better understanding of their character. And while all information is valuable when drawing a character I don't know anything about, especially when it's one I'm asked to design, I unfortunately am a slow reader and do not have much time to do anything besides my daily chores and the work itself. Wouldn't reading in this case be considered work as well? Of course, but most of the times I have to spend days, even weeks trying to read in order to draw one character once and then never again lol

So I am here to offer my humble apologies to those who want me to get to know their characters better, but I unfortunately can't afford to spend much time reading long stories and engaging with your characters/headcanons/etc to do my job that is create art. I ask of you to, please, if you plan to commission me in the future, choose first a commission option (example: 2 characters, half body, flat colors), then a pose (example: character A and character striking a peace sign while making dorky faces) and specify everything that I cannot forget to add in each of the characters (example: detail on character A's hat, ring on character B's left pinky finger).

Of course, it's okay if you have to give lengthy descriptions in some cases. And it's also okay if you're not sure of what you want at all, I will be more than willing to help you come up with an idea. I am only asking you to try not to ask me to read long stories in order to come up with an illustration. I sincerely hope it's okay for me to ask this, because, again, I really cannot afford to spend much time reading for a single commission.

With that said, I am also putting a limit of 3 edits at max per rough sketch before I start charging extra. I'm doing this because some people have made me go back and edit more than 20 times when they could've just listed everything that had to be changed at once. And again, that takes time and effort, and since most commissioners only ask for a couple edits, I set 3 as the limit. And they can only be requested during the rough sketch; if there are any changes requested after the line art is done, extra charges will apply as well according to difficulty.

I'm sorry if I'm asking for too much, but I feel I had to set some boundaries for future commissions. I hope everyone can understand.

Redacted Audio, Owari no Seraph, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Funamusea Universe, Hollow_ VA, Tokyo Ghoul, and D.Gray-Man by technicality though that oneshot isn't done or posted yet, lol. The ones I write for on the regular honestly vary depending on my mood and current devotion to the series, including the possible spite I feel towards that series, lmao. There are way more brief fic sparks I get for other series, but just never get the inspiration to go through with and end up forgetting.

6 - What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably Inversion: Another Story considering all the death and bad things it leaves off on, lol.

To Date a Vampire, though it's more like...reader-self-insert-y I guess? But is basically pure fluff, lol.

8 - Do you get hate on fics?

Not yet! I expected to get more hate for how many OC and OC/Canon fics I write, but my fics don't tend to garner much attention over all anyways I think, so it can't reach the loud haters, lol.

9 - Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope!! I hate writing smut, I don't like reading smut that much either. I'm a fade-to-black type writer. The closest thing I'll get to writing smut is maybe writing brief instances of the off-screen smut, and there'll be a graphic sexual assault scene later in EIC (y'know, for the therapeutic aspect).

10 - Do you write crossovers?

...Technically? Lmfao. Though unfinished, Our Solemn Hour is a crossover with Tsubasa and X/1999, with many of the X characters appearing in it mostly as cameos. Embers of an Iridescent Cage is maybe a crossover between stories? Though, Decem: Anges et Demons does exist now. Burning Wings is a crossover-ish with characters from Tsubasa in a setting inspired by The Last of Us, though I didn't crosstag it in the latter fandom since the only similarity is literally just the setting. And that's all.

11 - Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I better fucking not. (No one wants my trash lmfao.)

12 - Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but that would actually be incredible if it happened.

13 - Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, I am a selfish, haughty bastard and I need full reign over my stories, lmfao. Unless the other person was a similar writer with very similar ideas to me, it would never work. (Plus...I write about my FCs so often, so, lol. I personally find it very difficult to write stories about characters that aren't my own, hence the large volume of OC fic.)

14 - What's your all time favorite ship?

That's a great question. (It honestly varies depending on my mood. Mostly OC/Canon ships probably. I do still adore SuzuFeri.)

15 - What's a WIP that you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hell, I don't know...I've been told I'm humorous

I mean, if you know the language or do your research, go for it! Maybe add a footnote mentioning what was said for non-speakers if it wasn't brought up in the fic? (I don't personally ever plan for this myself for fics, but it is a small thing I plan on doing research for in my novel series, and I feel the same about original work too.)

OKAY SO, I think my actual first fanfic ever was a Kingdom Hearts fanfic, but the first one I posted on ao3 was for Owari no Seraph.

I'm so sorry about the gooey brain! I hope you can rest up and... uh... re-gelatinize? anyway, thank you for the ask lol! I've never really thought about my characters' Halloween costumes before, you're making me think here!

First off, Jasper LOVES Halloween and Kyle loves Jasper, so they'd absolutely do a couple's costume. But not a usual couple's costume... we're talking like... Rocky and Janet from Rocky Horror. Or Rocky and Frank N' Furter, depending on what gender Jasper's feeling more like when Halloween rolls around.

Ophelia wouldn't have a standard costume for Halloween day (or if she did, it would just be something simple to wear for when the trick-or-treaters come by), but you can bet that when she gets to hero work for the night she's wearing a Spidey-suit instead of her usual long coat. Just to fuck with Peter since she knows it annoys him.

I can't decide which would be funnier for Madison (both what she'd think is funnier or what would be funnier overall): she dresses up as a lookalike of one of the other X-Men, maybe Sean, and follows them around for the day like that episode of The Office; or she has Angel and Raven give her a hyperfemme makeover with all the things she'd never wear for herself usually, just to see how the guys would react.

Quinn wouldn't be big on Halloween costumes as a whole (it's hard enough to make them look like someone else, and they're not really worth the discomfort anyway), but they'd buy one of those rubber horror masks and would spend all day strategically spooking the other Ghosts around the headquarters. And would maybe put on a little face paint if they go out for drinks after.

Kestrel... doesn't need a costume, and that's the beauty of it. Their costume would be to shapeshift into one of their friends/loved ones wearing a cheap costume, and see how long it takes someone to notice.

Rae either goes all-out or completely forgets about Halloween until after it's over, and there's no in-between. Either she spends weeks crafting the perfect costume and putting together a Halloween party, or she's so caught up with work (or in another country) that she doesn't even realize it's caught up to her.

And Katherine's my only OC (currently) that has a canon Halloween costume! One of the earlier chapters of Who Waits Forever Anyway? involves a Halloween party at the Natural History Museum (so the museum peeps can socialize without arousing suspicion), and Katherine dresses up as the Egyptian goddess Bastet.

Today I feel like talking about one of my own OC x Canon ships, Myline x Itachi, this ship brings me some comfort and I really need that right now. I'd like to talk about their dynamic and for that I will use a few questions I saw on Toy House.

What made me choose Itachi as Myline's lover?

We can't deny Itachi is one of the most popular Naruto characters and even though he is far from being my personal favourite, I felt like he'd be the perfect fit for Myline, not only because of his personality but also life experience. Both are avoidant, Itachi has an extremely hard time getting attached due to the trauma his past decisions and regret enforced on him, involuntarily closing his heart to such "useless" feelings, hiding his hard and cruel truth: The fear of loving and losing again. Yes, I didn't forget about Izumi and neither did I get rid of her in my fanfic, she is part of Itachi's story and will stay like that. Myline was emotionally neglected throughout her emotional and behavioral development, getting her feelings, demonstrations of affection and weaknesses ignored and sometimes even punished, just like Itachi, they were both forced to grow up before their time. Both need an abysmal level of trust to finally allow and give themselves to each other and that's the journey I want to tell.

What are their sexual/romantic orientations?

Myline is a demisexual, Itachi is not mine but I portray him as an asexual personally.

How did they meet?

They meet when Itachi joins Akatsuki, he saves her from Tobi's hands who was about to kill her in a desperate attempt to finally awaken her sharingan. They were 14 and 13 respectively at the time.

How did they get together and who made the first move?

Itachi took the first step, but unintentionally. It was a rainy night and the the conversation between them was taking a more emotional turn and Itachi finally opened up to her about Izumi, his regrets and how much they haunted him, confessing his feelings for Myline indirectly while venting about everything, not expecting her to get it or even reciprocate those feelings, to his big surprise, she understood the message. LOL

What are their love language(s)?

Basically, their relationship pillars are respect, support and mutual help. They are not very pyshical and struggle to express their emotions so they show their love in very peculiar ways. Itachi helps Myline with her hygiene (she truly struggles with it because of her depression) and she helps him with his poor health, worrying a lot about it. Myline always brushes his hair. They also communicate through body language a lot, understanding easily whenever one of them is in need of some personal space or time alone and they will keep their distance until they are ready to come back to each other again.

What's their opinion on PDA (public display of affection)?

They don't do it. Myline hates to demonstrate that kind of affection in public because in her mind, it is like showing her weakness to her enemies, this is a traumatic response from her past, unfortunately.

Do they live together?

No, usually they only see each other whenever they are sent into a mission together and whenever they have a break from missions as Itachi's partner is usually Kisame.

Do they use pet names or cute nicknames?

Myline does, she calls him "her sun and moon".

Do they have a theme song?

Yes! I like to imagine the song "Fix You", from Cosplay, as their relationship theme as I feel like the lyrics fits them very well.

Introduction/Exposition Dump Wooo-

Uh, hi!

My (current) name is Caroline, or Carol, or whatever other variant of Caroline you can think of lol.

Used to spam doodles on Deviantart a lot. Now I don't do it as much anymore, so I'm trying out alternatives just in case. So, yeah, here I am! (been here for a while tho just wasnt making content lmao)

God this took so long for me to pick out bcs I think I'm pretty good at writing dialogue, but I just immediately forget 90% of the specific things I write after finishing it lol

“What’s the plan, then?” she asks. “Appeal to Professor Pine? Stage a coup?” “No, I—” James heaves out a frustrated sigh, sitting down on the floor with his back against the wall. “I don’t know. But I’m not just going to roll over and give up." (...) “So you’re stubborn,” Chae-Yeong says, a statement rather than a question. She’s not wrong. James is aware that he’s stubborn– his Semblance is a reflection of that. Part of him appreciates the directness. It’s better than what other people do by trying to beat around the bush. “My mā prefers to call me steadfast,” he says. When she’s not frustrated because he’s being stubborn with her, anyway. “Hmm,” Chae-Yeong says, a faint smile on her face. She sits down next to James. “Well, I’m ‘steadfast’ too.”

So, I definitely like this just in part because I like the way I gave a reason for Steadfast to be their partnership name/ship name within the canon of the story. I also like the way I used this dialogue to highlight both some of Chae-Yeong and James' similarities and differences. They are both people who are very stubborn and favor being direct, but Chae-Yeong is better at rolling with what's presented to her, and to some degree I think she's more able to accept things with good humor. idk, I mainly just like this dialogue bcs I love getting to write for them

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

This is mainly gonna hit for the people who know Chae-Yeong, but I put a lot of thought into what will happen with her when the time comes for the end of v8. While Chae-Yeong would spend most of the volume in Mantle, she would end up making the choice to get up to Atlas following Ironwood's ultimatum, in part bcs she can barely recognize him in what he's doing, and in part from the concern of "hey, why the fuck is his left arm metal now too"

While she makes it up to Atlas post ultimatum, she doesn't quite make it to the academy before the gates start opening. She makes it through the first one, and she has knows she should evacuate. But she also knows the other gates have to open to somewhere in Atlas, and that even if Ironwood isn't doing something stupid and dangerous, he would go down with his city. She can't just leave without trying to save him

So Chae-Yeong runs through the portals until she finds one in Atlas Academy. She knows where the vault is, and she knows that's where Ironwood would be given everything happening. She keeps running towards him, even as she most likely has to pass by Cinder and Salem as they leave the academy with the relics. But she knows she wouldn't be able to beat them. At this point, she realizes that she's doomed, so all that matters is finding Ironwood. She doesn't want to let him die alone. And Chae-Yeong does make it to the vault. She finds Ironwood, and with the end so near he can finally admit that he made mistakes and he feels bad about it, and she's mad at him for everything that he did the past seventy-two hours, but they're together, and that's what matters

They die together as the city plummets. But at least they aren't alone

ur hypotheses on what might happen is interesting… but on the memory loss. i agree with u that in canon it's unlikely horus will lose his memory upon ascending, but it's quite intriguing for fanfic fuel: seth not realizing how much horus meant to him until suddenly he means nothing at all to the god!horus. if you'd ever be into writing that haha i'm still slowly going through your existing ennead fics XD - thanks for the all the great content!

But yeah I love the main ship and I love most of the characters :3 I climb walls about them adlkajdlak

I definitely have a "ship and let ship" approach for folks who want Seth to end up alone or with idk an OC or something. To each their own, folks can do whatever they want.

From a canon standpoint, I do find it to be a deep misunderstanding of his character that being alone would somehow be the "best" ending for him. After all, we have that panel in S01E40 where Seth says, "I was afraid... of being forgotten by them." One of the few things we know Seth wants for himself is to be loved and not forgotten, and this has been repeated a few times at this point. So him ending up alone would not be happiness for him. It would, like you mentioned, be right back where he was during his kingship: depressed and self-isolating to the point of suicide.

That being said, a lot of folks who are pro this position have acknowledged that while this would be a sad Seth, he would be less sad than if he ended up in any of the ships people stick him with, particularly the four tops. Which I would personally argue against, particularly after Seth initiated the kiss with Horus when he realized that Horus loves him and didn't want to forget him, both things Seth wants the most. Heck, even ending up with Anubis would be better than ending up alone, since at least Seth has wanted to follow Anubis. But what's personal autonomy and choice, I guess? -shrug- But again, to each their own! It's not what I write and I have no interest in it! But folks do for a variety of reasons, and more power to em!

I think it's perfectly fine for folks to make fanworks and headcanons about the potential for Horus getting amnesia! That's the awesome thing about fanworks :D My opinion only affects my own thoughts and fanworks, and other folks can do as they please! A few folks have tackled the amnesia thing before, and I wish them the best! I'm not the biggest fan of amnesia plots generally (and I generally can't stand permanent amnesia because I view it as character death), and I'm very particular when I write them, I just think there's enough ambiguity and stuff with Horus' powerset and background that it's not guaranteed in canon. This particular set-up is unfortunately not a plot I have any interest in writing, and the only ENNEAD amnesia plotline I ever wrote involved Seth having temporary amnesia, and it was in my Dear Monster/ENNEAD crossover. Anything can change, of course, and I never say never when it comes to fic writing, but it's one of the saddest plots I think about (which I imagine is amusing, given some of the terrible situations I put Seth in lol but brains are weird sometimes) and I have other things I'm prioritizing, so it's a bit unlikely.

Hello!! And welcome :3 Thank you for the ask!! And yeah, tumblr is very quiet for the fandom. Twitter, pixiv, Ao3, and instagram are far more hopping.

I think this is for the ENNEAD ask me meme, so I'll answer based on that!

4. Who is your favorite character (if you have one)?

Shockingly I know, after publishing 48 fanfics that star or otherwise feature him in some fashion... it is Seth alkdjaldja he is best boi for me. Sad man, angry man. Love him. He's beautiful, he's tragic, he's fun. I love the way Mojito is exploring so many things with him, whether it's suicidal ideation, self-destructive tendencies, self-blame for things that are out of your control, cycles of violence, anxiety, responsibility... Just a lot of things. I love his power set (no pun intended). Shapeshifter characters have been my favorites since I was little (big fan of werewolves and shifters generally, and always have been, pretty sure it's why The Little Mermaid and other similar stories about water people who can change their shape have always stuck with me), especially when they can like dissolve into particles and reform. And I love his relationship with Horus. He's also really smart and can be quite thoughtful and I love how creative he is. Also I love when he gets into Situations. Angsty, whumpy man.

Second place is Horus. I love him so much. He's gorgeous, he's such a fun character, and he's hilarious. And his wings are so gorgeous T-T He and Seth are so cute and I go feral whenever I see them.

I like most of the cast, though.

10. How do you think ENNEAD will end?

I don't have good luck with guessing what Mojito will do intentionally, so take this with a lot of grains of salt lol I do have some luck doing it unintentionally when I write things into fics with like, "This would be cool if it happened", and then it kind of does lol And I do have some luck guessing what she won't do, so. Anywho.

We know Horuseth is the endgame ship, so they'll end up together. I assume they'll rule Egypt together in some fashion or, worst case, go off into the sunset together. Seth will fully get his powers back and the curse will be resolved. I imagine whatever's going on with Hathor's mirror will also be resolved (I think Nephthys was split into two people, and she'll be recombined and get all her memories back, and I think Hathor did it to take revenge for Ra). I'm still on the fence for whether Horus will actually "ascend" properly or not, or what that'll look like. He's kind of a strange demigod (Nut calls him the "link between the gods and humankind" (S02E44)), so I wonder if he won't actually ascend/he already has. But his ascension might also just be different than other gods, at which point I think Isis will step aside and let him rule fully on his own, with her help as needed. He doesn't marry Hathor. She gets booted out of Heliopolis. I also don't personally think he's going to lose his memory. He could, but on top of the circumstances around the whole "ascension involves memory loss" thing being still kind of unclear and questionable, he's a special kind of demigod/god, and his power involves knowing things. I think he'll be fine.

I assume Osiris will be defeated in Duat in some fashion (possibly by Seth, Horus, Anubis, and maybe FG) and just be stuck down there, stewing (Mojito likes sticking to the original mythology in a lot of ways, and I don't think she'd like... perma-dissolve Osiris of all people), and he and Anubis will be on more of a balanced power stance, and just sort of share a power domain. I feel like part of ENNEAD's conclusion will involve Anubis leaving his control and just coming into his own power entirely. And he gets his memories of Seth back to some degree.

I assume FG will head home after/around when we learn his name and the Egyptians will be like "huh, well idk who that was, but whatever, I guess we'll keep an eye on [FG's home country], though." Which... if it's Greece or Rome... -cringes a little-

I also hope that Anubis will have a heavily implied partner of some kind. It's not gonna be Seth, and I don't really think it'll be Khnum, much as I love that ship (though I'm rooting for it fully and he's as likely as anyone), but it could be Isis, too. Mojito did do some Anubis/Isis art years ago. I just want him to not be so alone.

I think Isis, Seth, and Nephthys will reconcile to some degree. I don't know that they'll be very close, but I think they will be on speaking terms, though I honestly think Seth and Nephthys are the least likely of the group for this to happen with. It depends on whatever is actually happening with the mirror. Seth and Isis are already on the path to reconciliation. Nephthys is the only actually sort of static one.

For introductions:

Zinnia: My main muse💕(who i def don't have bias for). An introverted kitchen staff, and childhood friend of Qu. Used to be much more quiet and enigmatic,now she's doing her best to be openly kind and even big sisterly. Has a penchant for getting into trouble, though mostly unwillingly. Also quite a tall lady,tall as Sin may i add n that's without heel's bcuz she sure loves wearing them (i made her so tall that I forget who's actually tall tall in this game like you know i have it bad when i call Ran/Mizu a midget n then see their actual height n go NVM THEIR TALL each time). Also is clear she has her issues as some days she's not doing so hot.

Closes to(I'll leave it simply to people she hang the most,I'll talk more in under "read more"): Mizuki and Qu but Kongou and her are quickly building a close friendship. Kiri,Io and Adami are people she often hang outside of starless

Role: Kitchen staff+ if she was part of the game she would just be the player emotional support LMAO

Kiri: The second one who invaded my brain a lot(despite originating from Blackstar i have more content for her in paradox live fandom since she's multi fandom of). An extremly loud and extrovert chuuni, talks with riddle and lies mix in, you never know when she's telling the truth. Seem to have history with Kei,Heath and even Saki but is clear saki doesn't remember her.

Closes: Heath,Io,Adami and Zinnia

Role: Comes to starless to hang like any other fan,avid fan of W and as a radio hostess she's uses it to be like go to starless @@@@+ if she was part of the game she will be that one npc that once in a while will pop up n always chatter with player n just confuse you(in a lighthearted way!!) before saying smt cryptically concerning n leaving.

Io: The one oc who's here to lighten up the mood out of the 4 of them LMAO. Care-free and laid-back as fuck to the point where here being high and her being well,not high is not that different LMAO. Despite popular believe she isn't a slacker quite frankly she works and care's a little to much she just knows when to slack n give herself some time off.

Role: That one npc that only appears if zinnia or Kiri are around LOL but if for whatever reason your in the sketchy side of town she always stumble across player to help them out.

Close: No one from canon(for now),she's close with each girl tho!!!

Adami: The one oc Born from one ship dynamic idea JSKSKSKS (criminal/spy x detective/cop lives rent free). The private detective who's in search for her lost family member. Because of her desperation she became good at what she does despite the dangers that it brings alongside it. The "strict" mom friend who can't seem to relax all that much.

Role: the private detective who here taking a break,she doesn't mean to put anyone unsettled she literaly has no time to change to casual.

Zinnia has the most "routes"(aka different au with different boys i like for funsies) but is obvious i have two main one's (Qu and Sin) although.... three wouldn't be far off as hes barking at my door(Ran pls sweetie don't u see i have my plate full STOP).

She actually works in starless before the new starless! So she's well acquaintance with a few if not most boy's so that's why I wanted to keep the relationship ship part under here bcuz sKSKSK girl has so many this is how much i think of her to the point i know what's her opinion on most of the cast and who's she's closes to LMAO.

Team k: She isn't close to anyone yet she's no stranger either,she rarely very...very rarely passes to check this team unless like they request smt from her but overall there isn't much.

Kei: not much to talk about here, nothin against him just she's a lil iffy with Kei bcuz similar to kokuyo she was a lil against the change he brought and unfortunately she doesn't hang around much outside those she's closes(she's so awkward with strangers jsjsjs)so she has a hard time reading him.

Sotetsu and Yoshino: they know her n she knows them,not close by any means but no strangers either however because of Zinnia appearance (she looks like she glaring at you+ she tower Yoshino easily) Yoshino does act a lil intimidated by her( not by a lot but is clear he's just trying not to upset her bcuz she snap once at someone else n he went YEP don't want that vs Sotetsu who's like idk man you literally talk about food n she'll give you an essay there's nothing unsettling about her).

Ginsei: since he was in W i think he's the only one "closes" ish to her, is like when you get along with a classmate very well,you could be friends if you guys decide to hang out more but you don't?well that's them especially since both are sensitive of their looks they can relate to that pain( Ginsei hates being call ikemen and Zinnia hates being call hot/sensual/mature)

Gui... bro idk she's neutral about him(funny she has a route with him), but thanks to seeing him hang with Ginsei she slowly gets a better read of him n finds him cute at times especially when he's asking about the menu n she's like "....he's like a clueless puppy...cute..."<- big sister instincts kicks in

Team W: the opposite of team k I HAVE TO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT SKSKSKS🤡🤡🤌 The designated aniki adjacent bcuz fuck it we ball with this decision,i decided W is her found family HONK

Kokuyo: The "i took one little shit why do i have now two now???". Thanks to Mizuki she got close to kokuyo back at old starless, they didn't interact unless kokuyo had to help in the kitchen and even then she would just give him the cold treatment or be kinda snappy at him (at least her tone) N he wouldn't bother her much anyway so he didn't care she did her job...that isn't till he saw Zinnia give food to Mizuki for free or when Mizuki stole money not just for him but for her too it's when he went from okay miss talk💀what the fuck going on here. Results Zinnia isn't so far from Mizuki situation (basically living in the streets) and just kinda became her big bro over time. She's very thankful of him so outside of starless it isn't odd to see her with kokuyo bcuz she invited him out for drinks.

Akira: "WDYM YOU HAVEN'T EVER ENTER A KARAOKE ZINNIA" "WELL NOT IN A WHILE" "ALRIGHT WERE GOING" "NO" another one that turned to be her big bro over time. I think Akira was the one who also made everyone realize the girl has her issues because when he accidentally flirt on her( he didn't knew her age n zinnia always appeared twice than her actual age doesn't help she didn't even like... mention anything or want anyone mentioning she's a child for reasons),she um...reacted really badly LMAO and after that he went to apologize ofc even invite her out to the arcane as an apology...it isn't till she said what's that??? That he went 🧍‍♀️"wdym...what's that..." Zinnia: "well,um...i know what it is but never exactly enter one" Akira:"EVER?" Zinnia:"EVER SJSJ" Akira: "ALRIGHT WE'RE CHANGING THAT LETS GO" n he just act as the fun big bro. While he don't flirt with her he's definitely a tease (aka. Treat her like a bby sis which makes Zinnia slightly irritated but she doesn't dislike it)

Sin: THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND I HATE HIM She unfortunately has a route of him and very unfortunately this could easily become a 50 page essay about trust and time can lead to a very dedicated relationship and how much of a simp i am but we're not here for that,mister funny crown men spoke his first words at her and the woman was immediately confused but ironically that brought comfort? She's comfortable with people who are quirky or deliquents bcuz that's the environment she crew up with so she just kinda immediately went from "oh God he's a weirdo.....guess i can lower my guard a lil"->cue to zinny feeling comfy in asking sin questions,both didn't really talk that much (unsurprisingly) and still don't but you can see Zinnia has a lil crush on him now from how immediately she smiles when she sees him or how hard she tries to understand him n his interest, in return Sin how can I word it...like he's not in her business but he's definitely like "Your your own woman,i know this but if you ever need help I'll be here" type n i do HC he does enjoys when zinnia, route or not, comes to him for assistance,maybe it's nice for him to feel like he can be trusted so wholeheartedly even tho he has his worries if she should be trusting him and why?Zinnia has trust issues so... out of all people why she choose to trust me....

Takami:Not much since he's new but seeing how the other 3 member's we're close to her,he treated her kindly out of courtesy (like hey i see she's close to boss should make sure i get along too).

Taiga= Not much either since again he's new, she only has given him a smile n wave but compared to Takami she is... intensely interesting in what he's doing (Akira: Well that's new showing interest in stranger's?hehe?~ zinnia: ah! Well-not like that! We just haven't had a tech savvy person so I'm very curious of what's he's doing that's all...)

Team P: Back to i don't have a lot LMAO mainly bcuz i haven't read much of them 🥺💦 May skip them this time bcuz this post already so long but her overall impression of them ranges from "Quite a fine gentleman hello been a while since we talk Rindou-san", "He's the one who took in Qu i should be polite,hello Maica-san....."<-clearly anxious,Menou is similar to GINSEI where like they do get along but aren't close granted she's a lil iffy about him at times bcuz can see Menou being a lil to direct in asking sensitive questions which has made zinnia unsettled at time's,Yakou.... Actually wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even talk to him LMAO bcuz she only knows the new members bcuz she visits those she's pretty close if not she would be oblivious to some,tho when they do talk can see they just neutral with each other like yeah he's/she nice.

Sinju (she has a route with him,the token of p rights)is the one she n him would get along,even be friends but unfortunately she snap at him once on a really shitty day(she screamed at him to back off) n after that he's been very nervously "h-hi zinnia" n zinnia inside: GUILT IS KILLING ME but in the outside she tries to play it cool even tried to go out of her comfort to be a lil more open by asking him out to hang out(it was awkward).

Team B: FOUND FAMILY PART 2 +#!(#( no i don't have biases wdym JSJSJS is a team that started with her being iffy but they snatch her legs n went "anyways she's the big sister....for the most part"

Mizuki: Zinnia "lil brother",he's a lil shit on purpose to her( kicking her/calling her old woman/ stealing her lunch) and she's an overbearing big sister on purpose on him (aka treats him like a baby but like in the "I'm going use my talking "to a baby" voice on you"/ there's also the joke she purposely puts him between her tits n he hates it bcuz he's suffocating HSJS). But aside from trying to annoy each other it's clear how Zinnia personality comes out immediately, she's free to be loud,casual and even childish self at times with him like is really freeing! Another member she owns to a lot, actually considers him a family n to a point she calls him consistently brother, even when she mad at him and him at her they never really stay far away from each other. Truthfully when not being siblings tm she acts very big sisterly towards him+ the cheat code to get zinnia to trust u easily.

Ran(HAS A ROUTE N IS KILLING ME): off the bat they kick it off well, he's friendly and wild+ gets along with mizuki+ acts cute= literally the opposite of Lico ,this is a man gain her to warm up a little to quickly....or so it seemed lolol she doesn't trust him girl has her issues but we're skipping that just know it wasn't long before she doted on him as much as she doted Mizuki (only she was more genuine n less annoying) which kick it off to a good start,TBf she's really prefers people she can "feel familiar with" n him having a similar braincell to Mizuki just speed up making her warm up to him.

Kongou: "The one guy i show cute pics of my dog" NSNSKSKS Like all out of starless he's the only one who sees and interact with Zinnia the most like ofc before b even form she was already warm up to him and his kind and pacifist personality really makes her feel comfortable to be like "i think is okay...to take the leap and trust him already...i think"-> cut to her n him just chatting all the time on the kitchen like even Qu,her childhood friend is like impressive you made her talk this much n there's Kongou like man idk if that's impressive i just mention how we can make this cute cake n she's suddenly rambling about all the ingredients. They support each other and slowly(more like quickly) Kongou becomes someone Zinny would call family.

Like C is the main reason i made zinnia(b being the second) a lot of their themes like freedom n independence/self identity is smt i base zinnia would lack bcuz slowly learns that from them 💕also everyone has a route in this team bcuz bias privilege i guess JKASKSK

Mokuren: "Yeah i guess it's fine" she said to them once before in old starless when she was cranky pants n that made Moku go "what do you mean my dance moves are just fine-" cue to her n them just stuck in the practice room till zinnia give them her honest opinion-> Zinnia actually getting mesmerized by their dance move-> Obv boosted their ego more but the time they spend together they did took notice how much yearning zinnia looked at them with,like she wants to be free and dance too but she keeps saying no any time they ask to join so it slowly became a goal to try to make her dance and to keep sure that yearning always stays they invite her a lot to C practice room.

Qu: Childhood friend's with ups and down, It's clear something is up with them considering they seem to hold back from telling each other feelings. Despite that Qu is very caring toward Zinnia and Zinnia is always worried about him which he can't help but chuckle. Qu and Zinnia are often hanging out starless or coming togher when schedule coincide. Qu the one who help her restart her closet with clothes she wants to wear and be proud of wearing, her hype friend absolutely does not let her wallow in her apartment for to long line "girl were going outside oh,also hi doggy- actually being your dog." Main one helping her out in being more polite since she used to speak very informally and loud and that kinda keep people away from her thinking she's a deliquent (did not help her old fashion clothes looked like she was one).Not like he found that a fault though...but she wishes to change n move forward and he's here to help.

Kasumi: He is a token,a crumb of aniki adjacent( n i know he's canonly a big bro) because he does act like it at times when Zinnia clearly been seen in distress but aside from that another one that can make zinnia easily talk bcuz he does over her (not) biggest secret: she's a foodie. Like he can literally talk about sweets of any kind and she's bouncing out off him happily,it's refreshing to see how comfortable she is talking to someone else that isn't her closes friend's,it's like that one acquaintance your more than happy to hang but there isn't many opportunities.

Hari: Did not like him nope,Maica was lucky bcuz he had Qu to introduce him n she went "ah so i can safely warm up to him got it", Hari is absolutely 100% a new member with no one to back him up nor was he Taiga where like at least she can be like "is dat vidi games?", she did not trust him especially after realizing he's a rich boy,sure she greet him with a smile he's no Lico but it's clear she didn't want to be alone,would get easily distressed if she was and would leave so it quickly turned awkward when mokuren invited her, didn't help the other 3 member where close to her so Hari always attempting to win her over her trust.

Zakuro: "Oh another weirdo....Mhm don't like you use a nickname already on me tho...", Another one she just smile at but after introduction she sorta kinda kept her distance and they kinda keep it like that(especially since Zakuro was making rounds of being up to no good from the get go,like he knows what he wants the tea n the drama n he isn't afraid to get it LMAO to get in your noise n zinnia went: ah reminds me a lil of menou...NOPE) till recently they been warming up,it's been a real slow burn with these two but she doesn't get quiet around him like she did before so that's an improvement.

so I'm part of an atla rp server, and I was going to apply for tomkin because I totally forgot he isn't a canon character. like you've written him (and the others obv) so well and made them so wonderfully fleshed out and realistic that I (very often) just forget that they're not real??? anyway. since he is in fact your oc, I wanted to see what your thoughts were on rping him?
