I noticed that when I talk to people I like that I am less bitter/irritated. When I talk to people I dislike or interact with my always-angry family, I become grumpy/bitchy.

- Hung out in Manechat earlier watching christmas shows and I was laughing so hard at Smash’s jokes and everyone’s commentary. It was nice. - on Twitter, person that messages me that’s constantly annoying and wants to voice call, I go into bitch mode. B’) - cool person on discord shared photos of their adorable cookies and that made me happy. - another cool person livestreamed Garfield Christmas and it was nice watching that with them! - in the morning a Garf also livestreamed Garfield Christmas and it was also nice watching with them. irl got snapped at several times but that’s a whole different story. I’m just glad to finally be finding friends online despite how slow I am. It’s nice there are people that I like.

I'm sorry but the irony of Nico calling Max unprofessional is sending me so bad like sir there's an entire garage full of people, who were literally in the trenches trying to survive the Brocedes fallout while just doing their jobs, who might have a few things to say about your (& Lewis') level of professionalism at that time 😭✋️

#f1 #formula 1 #formula one #max verstappen #nico rosberg #lewis hamilton #brocedes #like niki lauda had to try multiple times to literally parent trap them to try and get them on speaking terms it never worked #because one would arrive they'd see the other and the other would leave #& if i remember correctly the garage crew would swap around from race to race as a like see we aren't favouring anybody gesture 😭#and thats no shade to nico because it was both of them contributing to that environment #his comment re max is just making me laugh #like if i was a part of the pr/media team - which is a part of the degree I'm working on irl - at merc that year i would've lost the plot #like its insane reflecting on it nearly a decade later but the poor souls just trying to do their job in the eye of that storm #truly gods strongest soldiers #ngl the professional comment irks me a bit because its not like max is engaging in inappropriate work place behaviour #he's engaging in another aspect of racing that his involvement raises awareness of & that makes racing more accessible #& we all know how inaccessible not only getting into racing is but also to continue to pursue the further along you go #theres so many stories of 1 sibling giving up racing so the other can keep going because the family can't afford for them both to race #its a huge financial strain & we only see a handful of drivers talk about that & try to do something to change it #and nicos fellow sky sports commentators are routinely unprofessional on so many levels #additionally max had a lot of valid reasons to be annoyed at his team today #but alas he's not english so he's ungrateful #i hate that drivers can't criticise their teams or car without immediately being branded as bratty & ungrateful #ESPECIALLY WHEN THEIR JOB IS TO GIVE FEEDBACK #you can see the double standards from sky when say Lando or George have complaints with their team/car v the likes of Max and Yuki #especially Yuki my god the things i would do to get the British media to leave him alone #this was a jokey post at one point and then became a rant whoops lmao #I'll leave it that before i write an actual essay here 😭✋️

I understand that literature nerd Jason Todd is kind of overblown in fanon compared to it's actual presence in canon (a few issues during his pre (and post?)crisis Robin tenure that highlight it) BUT consider that I think it's hilarious if the unhinged gun toting criminal has strong opinions on poetry

But honestly i do judge people who use chatgpt for their college work. Literally if you chose to study something, why would you use ai for your work. If you chose something you want to study, doesn't it feel like a waste to not do your own research and work for essays and the like.

I'm learning how to weave and I'm making a band and I'm like !!!! bc it took me Years to actually to start learning and turns out it's fairly easy and soon I'm gonna have an army of bands and life is gonna be so good

#noopa rambles #I ordered this supply kit literally at 3:30am on thursday #and it arrived today #I was fucking Baffled at how fast it got shipped #yes I ordered a yarn kit too even tho I have a shitton of yarns #it felt easier to start with a ready-made yarn bundle #after I get a hang of it I'll try to figure it out from scratch #and at some point I want a fancier pirta (the weaving thing; idk what that's in english) you can make more patterns with #and also a wider one to make wider bands that can be used as belts and shit #aaaaaaaa I'm so happy #yes yes the band is not smooth but I'm learning #I can't wait to have piles and piles of pirtanauhat

not to be a d*ck, but is it true the king's trial was kind of illegal?

Yes - because the existing laws at the time gave the king more rights and protection than any other person. It was basically impossible to put him on trial for a crime legally.

If anyone else were accused of that crime (high treason), it would've been an easy trial with a clear sentence (not just during frev; we know how treason was addressed in Ancient Régime).

But Louis had special protections in the law. So that was a pickle. And that's why the Convention took so long to figure out what to do (if he could be tried legally at all). It was an example of "it can't really be done legally, but it's because the law is bad". Yet they (majority at least) didn't want to go "fuck the laws, it's unfair for him to have privileges over other people, especially for that type of crime". So they struggled to find a loophole that would make it non-illegal and in the process some important things were said about the nature of rulership, the divine right of kings, equality, democracy etc. But yeah, there was no way to do it legally because the law was bad. (Edit: And I think rulers generally still enjoy these protections around the world, so it wasn't unusual. Still bad.)

#this is a simplification of what went down #but it does touch upon issues of what to do when the law is wrong/bad/unfair #is the most important thing to stick to it to keep things legal #even if unfair #or go against it #but yes it's a complex issue #not just in louis' case #but also diplomatic immunity for the deputies #or idk how it was called in their time - i am referring to the whole 'can/should deputies be put on trial'#and of course there were different opinions on that #but it's something that exists in our time too #which baffles me to no end - why would a politician have any special protection is beyond me #but i digress #frev #french revolution #louis xvi #*parliamentary immunity not diplomatic lol #i guess inviolability is the word #can't english today
