The thing no one ever considers while writing up character analyses about Merlin is that. he must have been sooooooo sleepy.

I think the lack of rest was a significant factor in Merlin's conduct#IF he got a solid 8 hours of sleep + 2 hours minimum JUST to himself everyday uninterrupted... I just know things would turn out different#like it isn't even asking for much. decent sleep + a frankly sad amount of down-time. and yet. thinking of Kafka's so called failed drawing of a horse and my theory regarding the classic "its impossible to draw a horse" dilemma is not that you can't draw a horse but that hardly anyone can truly draw a Horse because even when you have it down anatomically you've still missed the Essence of Horse, the horseness of the Horse, if you will, and this is EVERYTHING
you can draw a cat or a pigeon and absolutely capture the catness and the pigeonness of a cat and a pigeon but the horseness of a horse is so phenomenally antithetical to any and all visual representation it will never sit right ever. got the proportions perfectly rendered? faithfully captured the sheen on the coat? delineated all the sinews and muscles of this insane beast in motion? great. still not a Horse though!!!
truly i think 3 year olds are sometimes the only people who see the horse for what it is bc accurate depictions of horsenessness have nothing to do w anatomy and EVERYTHING to do w expressing the Vibe of being near these ridiculous animals. like the entire history of art flounders before the horse bc no amount of breaking them into circles and boxes will help you whatsoever these creatures are made up ENTIRELY of an utterly INCOMPREHENSIBLE marriage between mad staggering bulk and fluid motion like lets be real a static image will NOT cut it no matter how perfect we think the flank-to-belly ratio is.

I love how all of the companions' stories revolve around autonomy and I love how some of the romances show the whole "I love you for who you are"
Don't love how so many people are misinterpreting them though

i applied for two things today: 1) grad school 2) Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours finale LoveLive! 永久stage
#productive day i'd say#grad school i feel pretty confident about but i have no idea how much optimism i can have about the concert#because i only bought 2 cds#it's a 2 day live and 1 cd = 1 entry for each day#and again as evidenced by that i only bought 2 cds i'm not really shooting for the stars here#so as far as i'm concerned that's 2 chances to win#last year i applied for 3 dates of twice's japan tour to zero avail :(#and i'm just realizing now that this is at least sliiightly better odds#crossing my fingers for me and anyone else who might've applied!!!#it was a little bit of a process to figure out honestly#personal#hope you guys are well!!!

just applied for a part time job 😔 ough if im being honest
#do i WANT to work 2 jobs? not at all!#however i DO want to build my funds up some and thus i must#especially considering. Everything.#and with how wishywashy my job has been this year having a 1. fallback job that i already have in case i DO end up being laid off#2. have an active income in case we have MORE weeks off (which i already know we will in december)#and 3. just have a little more money in case of emergencies and so i can have a bit of spending money#so really aside from i know it'll make me Tired it's a good idea :(#especially with trying to run a fandom event OUGH#but that's only of i GET the job and im only applying for the one bc its at the craft store i worked at before#so i already KNOW how to do most of it it'll just be about refreshing and relearning and learning the few new stuff i know is there#anyway. widh me luck.#i DID saybi am currently employed and that i don't have open availability which ik is :/ when job hunting#cus computers will automatically throw out your application#and also i gave myself time on the end of my Big Job shoft to go home and shower before i would be willing to be at the Small Job#so we'll see if i even get an interview or anything lmaooo#shh ac
