okay i need to go to sleep but quickly i find people who despise amy and amylaurie really kind of repulsive because why can you not listen to a woman when she isn't interested in a man just because you find the man attractive like you just do not respect jo and her agency

#i find it even more egregious when they've read the book considering how touching i find amy and laurie's romance #it's so slow and sweet and honest. honestly it's also amy misogyny like i need you to remember she burned jo's book as a child #and if you and your siblings weren't like that congratulations but my brother and i nearly killed each other. AND WE'RE EVEN REALLY CLOSE #i just feel like so often ppl blame young girls as if they were adults. 'she was 12 she knew better'#i assure you 12yos DO know better they just basically are not capable of DOING better #they are spiteful and vengeful and cruel and it's not their fault genuinely bc they have the minds of children and the hormones of teens #and it's all of a sudden and it's embarrassing and painful and the angriest you've ever been in your life ALL THE TIME and you want to be #older but no one takes you seriously and they often are right not to but you don't care bc you can't be logical or reasonable yet bc you are #still literally a child not even a teenager. 12 was hard. and every 12 year old i've ever worked with was Going Through It.#ANYWAY GOODNIGHT SRRY TO MY HUSBAND IF HE SEES THIS CAUSE IM SPOSED TO SLEEP #salad dad
