So pro tip, apparently if you follow a cream cheese frosting recipe almost correctly and put too much hot water with gelatin in it and then freeze it, you get gellato

#i was trying to make filling for homemade cat-shaped oreos #i have more cream cheese dont worry #i just stuck it in the freezer to see what would happen to the failed attempt and was correct #i assumed it may resemble something ice cream adjacent because its just butter and cream cheese and powdered sugar #its really sweet though #probably would be good with something tart like strawberry or raspberry #or a topping for some kind of mixed berry crumble #definitely keeping it though it tastes good and i refuse to waste it #my post #baking
