I wanted to make a joke like, "Mom, is this you?" but my mom is Mexican, so she would never say she loves my humor. Instead she'd say, "Do you think you're funny? Got time to make jokes, but can't find time to iron your clothes. You throw them all wrinkled in the dryer two minutes before you need to be somewhere. Now that's a joke because I know I didn't raise you to do that. Desgraciada."

So next time she asks if I think I'm funny, I'll let her know someone on Tumblr thinks I am, just so she can respond "¿Quien es Tumbles?" then I'll explain to here that TumblR is a thing not a person, and she'll tell me, "The only THING you'll tumb-LER over are those clothes that you refuse to hang in your closet, which is why they get wrinkled.
