Remember when JK went on Suchwita with Yoongles and he was on a very strict diet? Intermittent fasting for 20 hours a day or something like that?

It was because he was preparing to do the jacket shoot for Golden. Yoongi asked if he'd been working out lately and JK said "I work out hard".

That's a body that's done work.

Even if you're super fit and strong and lean AF, your muscles dont just pop like this.

You have to exercise to make them pop like this. You have to pump them...

That's why weightlifting is sometimes called called the pump or pumping iron. The pump refers to the muscles swelling with blood, looking and feeling like they've been inflated. which makes them look way more impressive for a little while after.

But I digress....

For those who might say that having sex isn't a workout, perhaps you've never topped. It's your abs and your glutes that do the work when you're thrusting, and if you're holding yourself up above someone else (or doing a glute bridge, or even just rolling your hips underneath them) you're gonna fatigue pretty quickly if you dont have strength and stamina in that department.

Looking at his body I can confidently say JK was not the pillow princess that night.

The significance of this scene.

It didn’t have to be in the movie. It honestly almost seemed out of place. It shows Jimin’s reaction to JK’s new shaved head. They could have also shown Tae and Joon’s reaction, and given us a whole montage, but they didn’t. But showing Jimin’s reaction was important to JK. It was important because Jimin is important to JK.

They could have shown any other Jimin/JK interaction, but they showed us how Jimin reacted to seeing this new JK. This HUGE change is about to happen in their lives, and this haircut was the first step. When an engagement or a pregnancy is announced - whose reaction is recorded? The people you’re closest to - family, loved ones. Jimin is that. He is family - a loved one to JK. And recording his reaction to this notable step needed to be done.

I love them for that.

Jungkook mentioned in IAMSTILL how he thought about using “Ian” as his stage name because he admired dancer Ian Eastwood.

That’s why it’s so special to see him happy and proud to work with both Ian and Brian Puspose as his companions for his main song SNTY ….

… the two two dancers he and JIMIN admired when they were younger 😭

And both Brian and Ian have recognized the talent of these two fanboys 🥰 who have gone on to become HUGE stars, both as part of BTS and in their solo careers

This cutest of clips from I am Still has been floating round Twitter for a couple of days. Jimin is shocked but is still so reassuring, and the way JK leans into Jimin while he touches his head reminds us of the complete trust between them.
