the new update has flawed me. i am on the ground. I am dying. i am dead. GOD THAT FUCKING UPDATE. LIKE FR FR!! the panel composition?!!??!? itS SOOOSO COOL!!!!! the page layout had become SO good in the recent chapters but especially like, the little mini panels that highlight how alone he feels, the sketchy speech bubbles instead of the usual solid ones showing how his voice is soft and uncertain, the black scribbly lines showing his building panic!!!! ITS SO GOOD!!!!!! you are so incredibly talented chefs kiss. also, the tips of his mask are red? is that symbolic of his past and his (unknown) future? the amount of blood thats about to be in his life, how he’ll cross the line, and its apart of him its already destiny he just doesn’t know it yet. how the colour red contrasts so well with the above with the scarf showing that even happy memories may soon be tainted. god that panel with the scarf HURT. all he ever wanted was to make his dad proud for his dad to love him and to be happy,,, and yet his dad didn’t notice he left, literally went to the surface for the first time. that must really sting poor guy.
