wow. that world cup was one for the ages, it gave everything. my heart was absolutely gutted watching giroud be subbed off before halftime, but to see messi lift the trophy in his last chance featuring an mbappe hat trick, i don’t know how better this could’ve gotten. i am a messi fan at heart, i’ve been watching him since i was just a little girl and i could not relive 2014 by any means, but doing so, that meant france would have to lose. i was going to be gutted either way.

and my god did kylian mbappe make his country proud. a phenom, when his country needed him the most, he deserved it truly. he’s going to break their records and i can’t wait to witness it.
