Okay I am still reeling at the fact that Falin is dragon chicken??

What exactly happened? Is this like the cockatrice sitch where she's 1/3rd dragon 1/3rd chicken and 1/3rd Falin? So she kinda fused with the dragon....is this an fma type thing where she's a chimera? But where did the chicken come from?

So now she's looking for the king that was besties with the lunatic magician but said king is said to have already died in chapter 1 (?)

Okay theory time. The lunatic magician is loyal devoted to delgal. He's also a magician. Does he realise the different life spans of elves and humans? Freaks out that he'll outlive the king? So he makes a dungeon that's doesn't let anyone die hence the king and the kingdom are made immortal but something happens and king calls quits and he manages to escape and dies as soon as he leaves the dungeon space. And now he wants someone to defeat the lunatic magician to free everyone else?

But also there were no other people there. Are the old citizens the spirits they used as a fast freezer to make ice cream? Is this the citizens of xerexes stuck in the philosopher's stone in fma type deal?

How does Falin tie into all of this tho. She became a part of the dungeon temporarily when she was brought back but probably retained some dragon traits......was falin just collateral damage cause the lunatic magician wanted that dragon back and at that moment Falin had the most percentage of red dragon in the dungeon? I mean technically the party ate the red dragon so there were also some percent dragon meat....

Why Falin man? Is it because she has traces of whatever dark magic Marcille used? Is this a Greek tragedy where she loved her so much she sentenced her to death for the price of bringing her back? So many questionsssss

As they spend more & more time together Lando falls for Yuki & tries to seduce him but Yuki is So Determined Not To Creep that he keeps missing cues

A BBC Merlin Military AU Nobody Asked for???

yeah! you can find my posted fics of this here but there's only 2 so far (they're reposts anyway lol)

i originally wrote them for merthurweek2020 & merthurweek2021 but i ended up loving the au so much that i just made it it's own thing. there's no cohesive plot with this wip. all you need to know that it's a semi-modern au where every bbc merlin character is involved in the military. also there's similar threads that i take from the show's canon (Morgana's betrayal being one)

Merlin is head medic for the base, and gets along swimmingly with Colonel Arthur Pendragon who leads the base whenever his father, the general, isn't around (which for this story, is a lot). Along with his caring nature and being the best at his job, he will put you in your place and has called the General an idiot to his face once.

The Knights are some rank of officers (i haven't got that far in really figuring that out) but the all relay back to Arthur and have a strong loyalty to him.

i have no ending for this fic planned out yet, but i do know that it's a fic where you don't know whether everyone will make it out of this war alive. no one is immune to becoming a victim to its damages, so the best these guys can do is hold onto each other tightly. (unless your name is Arthur, and you believe that keeping a bit of distance will lessen the pain of his loss for the people he loves)

i loveeeee it when you watch a horror movie and you can just see how much the director loves horror 🥰 🥰 may the devil take you wasn’t amazing it was kinda cliche but in a nice way which i liked lol... like i wouldn’t watch an american movie with this plot. it managed to actually scare me in some moments fdghfdg. it really got me. also yet again excellent gore. it was lowkey indonesian evil dead but without the humour and i heard the sequel had more humour so i am intrigueddddd

1. Whifiakn writing is a skill and I just so happened to have written a lot over the past few years. You all have only seen the very short kotlc things I’ve done here and there, but I have hundreds of thousands of words of original content I’ve used to develop my voice and approach, so you’re seeing a more refined result!! I won’t say my old writing is bad, because all writing is progress, but I will say that I have definitely improved since I first started writing more seriously a few years ago

2. Ahhh I’m so glad you find it interestingggg I was debating where I wanted the cliffhanger to be for this chapter. I thought about making it after Sophie turns around in that one room to find a bunch of melders pointed at her, but that would’ve made other timing things weird so I didn’t. Also I do technically have the next chapter written (but unedited), so there’s definitely more, I just don’t know when I’ll release it <3
