pajama day is so awesome im so excited for tomorrow
#it is a half day and classes are only 20 minutes because there is a concert for the whole school#the band orchestra and chorus are playing#i am in band so yay πππ#and its the last day before Christmas break#which usually it good but this year i cant decide how i feel#because like YAY NO SCHOOL but also. i wont see my partner for probably like. 12 days#if their dad agrees to let us hang out the 30th then 10 days#sorry wait break is 13 days#okay#yeah#but im not counting on their dad agreeing because hes MEAN#anyways#yes#pajama day#my pajama pants are my favorite pants that i own and i never get to wear them out so that is yay

gracie is too talented omg i wanted to see her on tour with taylor but i am both not american and i didnβt get tickets to eras π
one of my favourite bands of all time. iβve been very lucky to see them on tour (almost twice but the second time, i moved abroad after buying tickets so my sisters went for me and i cried lol). something about their music makes me feel like iβm perpetually stuck in the best moments of high school and i love that so so much π

4 Weeks Post-Surgery
Hi you all :) Happy Hump-day πΒ I can't believe that today marks four weeks since my surgery.Β Highlights to mark the date are:Β β wearing something other than a sports bra β added resistance to my lower body workouts β light strolls have transitioned to power walksΒ β 5 LB dumbbell Bicep Curls πͺ
I started my morning with my usual cup of coffee before mom and I set out on the town to run around a bit. It was rainy out and felt a bit like fall, so once in town, we decided another cup of coffee would be good βοΈπβοΈ We took it to our favorite coffee house, the Spot. I had a sugar-free caramel latte made with almond milk and mom had a turtle freeze π’Β
We got our errands ran and then I spent a good part of the afternoon working on schoolwork π After, I got in a lower body workout with a light resistance band. My glutes were still super sore from Mondays workout, but a few reps in and the blood flow helped. It was a quick 30 minute workout consisting of: β air squats β stationary lunges β banded good-mornings β banded abductor swings β banded adductor swings
I feel like I have lost almost all mass in my lower body, but i just keep reminding myself that in two more weeks I can incorporate light squats and weighted lunges and its all uphill from there πͺ My lunches have looked almost identical for three days now. I am on a lettuce wrap kick right now. Lettuce, deli chicken, mustard, light cheese and cashews with even more greens on the side- kale chips
And of course everyday requires a protein bowl- today it was βοΈ
I was bummed this afternoon because I just knew evening cardio with the girls was a no-go due to the rain, but there was a window in the late evening that we were able to get it in, Yay!! β
οΈ Day was made π¬
Today was a good day π Life is good.
