Yesterday I made a milk bread with cheddar spiraled throughout. Bad idea, too much cheese oils came out and it's cooked through but structural integrity was bad, the whole bread started slumping as it got cooler out of the tin. (I did not take a photo of that shame)

Today I decided to try making proper French onion soup but with chicken stock instead and the low fire lengthy onion caramelisation, and since I don't have an oven safe dish or pot big enough I pan fried the pieces of cheese bread in garlic butter. Which also crisped up the cheese.

Y'all, I'm am experiencing the oh but for French onion soup what the fuck. What the fuck.
