theres a sub im in called transgendercirclejerk and its entirely trans ppl making fun of transphobic shit but theres a cool side effect of posting there which is randos will somehow come across posts from it and take them at face value and i have to be like. no dude this is not genuine dont worry

#my most recent post there was making fun of the way that like #every post in in r/mypartneristrans starts with like #'my husband just came out as trans to me!! (using he/him still because he said it was fine!!)' and every time #im like. are they actually ok with it or are they just saying that to make you feel better because theyre scared youll leave.#but now i keep getting comments being like 'omg you sound abusive and transphobic‚ you should leave your wife #so she can have a happy life without you you scumbag' and i have to be like. i do not actually have a trans partner who #i am emotionally abusing into not transitioning. there is no wife or husband its ok #its a 10/10 sub though #obviously since its parodying Real Transphobia We Experience it can get a bit uhhh triggering / offensive so tread lightly but #i feel like the humor there and the humor here are very similar
