#kinstuff#musings#i want to talk to people about divinekin bullshit but also after that fiasco with the server?? do i???#the only thing i can think of that “justified” us getting kicked was MAYBE#MAYBE#me mentioning that artura and i have a trans-temporal relationship that amounts to#“the devotee must decide whether he destroys that which gave him divinity-- and which element of the cycle of repetition he scorns”#i am a part of artura because i came first#i consumed him#and he let it happen because it was fated to happen#the two of us became as one#and thenceforth the two of us had to eternally babysit every isalliam that came afterwards#some of which became a part of us as Artura#some of us became a part of us as Proxy of Fate (that which attempted to consume Artura)#and some of which entirely sidestepped that by refusing the cycle entirely#me joking about my subsystem being made of devotees wanting to kick my ass--- is that TOO SPICY for a new server???#UGH.#-nova

Guest lecture - Ex South Bank university students
Alex, Sam, Charlotte, Arturas and Lisa all studied photography at London South Bank university. After graduated, they started working in different fields, doing different types of photography. They have been the example of achieving something if you really want to, that is why I would like to talk about them and their experiences into the real world, as pure.
ALEXANDRIA
The first ex-student I am going to talk about is Alex. She studied digital photography at LSBU, and now she is currently working for different magazines. During her time of working she understood more and more how to act in these kind of advertising fields, she also improved how to research for a specific topic, project. As she says, the London south bank University helped her a lot, helped her on how to research, how to give and receive feedbacks, which the most important skill in order to be a professional photographer under all the points of view. The agency she is currently working for is called ‘DON’T PANIC’. Before joining this particular agency, she experienced other jobs such as, webber representative, gallery assistant and she has also experienced how to work as a curator, being under control of different exhibitions. Having said that, during her time at university she joined the South Bank collective, the university magazine, and her advice according to that is to enjoy everything about university projects and experience everything that we like and we will surely find our way.
SAM
The next ex-student I would like to talk about is Sam. She also joined the South bank collective during her time of studying here. However, for the first speech of her career, she showed a specific project she worked on while she was a student. This project is called ‘Nana’ and it is about representing memories with her grandmother in relation to their love for each other. Another project she worked on was ‘The Suite’, and this one is for all those who suffer of cancer, staying in a room, alone while thinking at the whole life around them. There is no secure future, there is no plans anymore. According to this particular brief, she understood and tried to work better and better regarding photographs themselves, she always used to question ‘how images work together?’. Apart from that, after graduated, she started working as a webber representative, gallery assistant and now she is currently working for magazines, for the Wallpaper magazine more specifically. She has just started but she is keen to keep dreaming and working hard.
Charlotte
Charlotte is the next person I want to talk about. During her presentation, she showed the audience a project of her which is named ‘Natural Stay’. For this project she took photographs of sleeping people because nobody ever think that it could contain a strong and unique meaning. After graduated she also worked as webber representative, as gallery assistant, being in contact also with the artist and photographer Kalpesh Lathigra ( http://www.kalpeshlathigra.com/ ). Since she started working, she has received different commissions she had to work on as well as being a photographer’s assistant. Having said that, it must be considered that she is now working as Editorial at different art projects. However, her advice is to always be professional, always look interested and enthusiastic and aways ask questions to ourselves and to who we like, which is the key of success.
ARTURAS
Arturas Bondarciukas studied Digital Photography at London south bank university. Throughout his studies, he also joined the South bank collective as other of his friends did. “Working in the agency has been so beneficial. I’m still working as a retoucher and photographer, and have learned so much about communicating with clients, working as part of a team, and improving my own photographic practice.” he says in relation to the opportunity the university gave him (http://www.lsbu.ac.uk/case-studies/arturas-bondarciukas-photography ). He has been satisfied under all the points of view by this university. He liked the course, he felt prepared for the outside world. However, once he graduated he decided to travel with his mom and create a personal project named ‘Russian and China’. Thus, when he came back to London, he started working as a Studio RM worker, he practiced with other photographers and then he had the opportunity to work as graphic, after affects in partnership with ‘Big Brother’. His career started increasing more and more and he is now working with different famous singers such as, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani for the BBC radio 1. His advice is “never give up”.
LISA
The last ex South Bank university student I want to talk about is Lisa Drew. As some of the other students, Lisa has been part of the South bank collective which she found very useful and phenomenal in terms of experience and improvement as photographer. “What I liked about the course was that it gave you the technical skills to succeed, along with the theory to back things up – but also gives you a real understanding of the commercial side of the industry as well,” says Lisa as a proof of her journey has been ( http://www.lsbu.ac.uk/case-studies/lisa-drew-photography ) Just after her graduation, Lisa started working, joining different galleries. According to this, she started receiving commissions and commitments where she also had the opportunity to work with one of her university teacher, collaborating together in the realisation a project. Moreover, she also experienced other fields of the outside world of photography. In fact, she worked as a cultural programme and now she has finally began the coordinator of the association (Peabody). http://lisa-drew.com/
