The only light at the end of the tunnel I can definitely see right now is the fact that when Akutagawa snaps out of the vampirism, he'll be fully healed i.e. that thing about his lungs that he confessed to Atsushi about, before his neck went split splat? Yeah, that shit better be gone, he better be able to take full breaths of air by the time this arc ends.

I am SUCH a transfem Akutagawa truther. I also feel like it could really fit her story narratively, with her transition being a way to heal and gain autonomy over herself. I also think BEAST Akutagawa transitions much earlier, and I picture her with a long black skirt and chunky boots.
I’ve convinced my partner that Akutagawa is transfem and now whenever I bring them up or show a picture of them they always go “yess I love her!!”
(They know it’s just a headcanon but I’ve gotten them to love it and now they only refer to Akutagawa with she/her♥️)
