Locorro sounds like that kinda of couple that would laugh togheter when bratty kids falls.
You are 10000% right. You remember, I have said before that nocorro have jjpope from Outer Banks vibes? Well, locorro have Shawn and Gus from Psych vibes, and also Eliot and Hardison (honestly this works so well as Kiri is the third member of their friendship trio, and Parker of the 0t3 is also autistic coded) from Leverage vibes. (Also last time I mentioned Eliot and Hardison outside of the context of the ot3 people seemed skeptical so here have this incredibly homoerotic moment to convince you).
I think in some ways once they get to a certain age, Spider would pretend to be an adult while Lo'ak is still off the rails. Bickering and bullying each other but also iNSTANTLY in when either starts a bit or a joke, reading each other like they've known each other from jump, and also wildly oscillating between throwing the other under the bus and also defending them with their lives.

Hamzah the fantastic yapping about his girlfriend: compilation
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Not a lot of people know about Hamzah’s relationship, but once he has a chance to talk about you, he will not shy away from talking about you. Fans could not help but make videos of them as tiktok clips or compilation videos on youtube.
There is no denying that he is head over heels for you, but some moments top others. The most popular one was a YouTube compilation named “Hamzah Being in Love: compilation”
The first clip was in an OOC podcast, where they talk about the most efficient thing: buying food outside or cooking food at home.
“No, 'cause my girlfriend always cooks food for us,” Hamzah says, as he's holding his mic, and Martin nods “I guess cooking food is good.”
“Of course, when you have a great cook at home.”
Martin smiles as he can see Hamzah being passionate about this topic, “I’ll give you and Mandy some of Y/n amazing cooking. If there's any left, though.”
“Cause sometimes I just finish them all,” he replied, “One of the best foods I've eaten was made by Y/n, God, now I'm missing her cooking.”
“I miss you, babe,” he said, looking at the camera as Martin laughed, folding like a plastic chair. Hamzah smiling.
The second clip was of Fortnite gameplay in the slushy noobz youtube channel. They were playing the game, and when Hamzah could hear the door slowly swing open, his gaze was on the door. He sees his girlfriend slowly trying to find something.
He could hear Martin trying to get a backup while he gets tag teamed, “Hi, what are you trying to find?” Hamzah said, as his Fortnite character was on all fours, leaving Martin defending himself
“Dude?!”
“I got it.” Your voice wasn't loud, but it was loud enough to pick up from the mic, “Okay, I love you,” Hamzah said, Martin clutched the three v one fight, and he sighed loudly, snapping Hamzah out of his long stare
“Dude, what happened?” he said. Martin's face turned sour as he scratched his head, indicating he was irritated. “You are what happened.”
The next one was one of Hamzah’s old livestreams, where he was just talking to his chat, trying to pass the time. He got a donation asking what he would do this weekend
“Ahh, well, I'm gonna hang out with my girlfriend since she will be coming back to her hometown. Might as well show her around until she has to leave.” people are curious, asking if they can see her.
He wasn't hesitant and called you on the phone, “baby, people want to see you; can you come here?” and without a minute, you can see his girlfriend popping, waving to chat as a greeting
You can see the messages scrolling quickly as they compliment you. You smiled, “There she is, my beautiful other half.”
The next clip shown was Martin and Hamzah playing FNAF, It was getting dark, and they didn't know how many hours they wasted while they played the game.
Hamzah showed his phone to show what time it was, and his wallpaper was you standing up, flash on while you were holding his hand, “It’s 9:45, I'm getting sick of this game”
Martin nodded but continued to control and run. “If they keep doing this to us, then… developers. Get ready for my fist.”
He sighed as he shifted in his seat to get comfortable. He kissed his phone screen as Martin looked at his antics and asked, “What was that?”
“Missing her right now-” and suddenly got jump scared by Monty; they jumped out of their seats. They nervously laugh.
The video transitioned to another OOC podcast clip, but instead of just Martin and Hamzah, you and Mandy were in it. You were sitting next to Hamzah, and Mandy was sitting next to Martin, so they were still in the frame. Since they didn't expect you to join them, you shared the microphone with Hamzah.
The four were talking about who always wakes up early in the morning and how late one wakes up. “Sometimes I wake her up since she works at dentistry so she gotta be extra early, and I cook her food because she always says she doesn't like the food near their clinic.”
He handed the microphone to you and said, “Yeah, 'cause the food there just doesn't hit right like you're cooking.”
“You like my cooking?” he curiously said, as you nodded and got the microphone, “Of course, I especially like the notes you put on my lunchbox. Always a cliché quote like ‘love you to the moon and back’ or ‘I think you're tooth cute’ and it's so cute.”
He grinned and looked at you. “Glad you like them.”
“Isn't it funny how both of our girlfriends are health professionals, while we are… just influencers?” Martin said as he was racking his brain up.
The last clip was another bake-off, and you finally cave into their pleas to be there, and for the first time, the place they use is in Hamzah's kitchen.
The measuring cup and ingredients were on the island table, big bowls were laid as they were mixing their batter, and you pre-heated the oven.
“You don't have to over-mix it, Martin. Now you won't have stiff peaks!” you said as you looked at Martin’s bowl. He was making meringue for his spin-off lemon meringue pie but instead of lemon, it was a simple blueberry pie with meringue.
“I’m sorry! I did not know!” He said as he raised both his hands like he was at gunpoint. Hamzah noticed your face was sweating, and your hair was sticking to it. He grabbed a piece of tissue paper and wiped your face while you were talking to Martin.
“Yeah, I need that cinnamon.” You knead your dough for the cinnamon rolls you were going to make. Hamzah decided to pull you away from the table so that he could tie your hair.
“Hold still,” you said, lowering a bit so he could tie your hair properly. “Thank you, babe”
You kissed his cheek, leaving your preferred glossy lip tint print on his face. He smiled like he had won the lottery. “You're welcome!”
“Now I feel like I'm the third wheel right now, jeez,” Martin pipped, as you smiled and continued to knead the dough. “You do this all the time, Hamzah?”
“Yeah, when we do it in the back-” the clip cut off, and they continued to do what they were doing. Let's just say that Hamzah did not wipe his face for the entire video.

(I'M BACK! I love Hamzah sm, and I'd totally do a part two of this if ya'll guys want!!)

hello miss joy. it's 10:35 here in pst and I have been binging ur masterlist for approximately an hour. (I went to go to sleep at like 9:30 ok? Im a granny, I know). Ur masterlist is the destroyer of all "get some sleep" goals. How can I be so talented? I've reread all of ur works to the point where I actually remember the specific words u chose and then smile like an idiot bc I feel like I'm smart. I'm shifting around in my bed trying to find a comfortable position to look at my phone. Tips?
okay firstly you’re not a granny for sleeping at like 9:30, I WISH I was you 🤧 but I do hope you managed to get enough sleep!! (not @ how I went to sleep at like 7am and slept for like three and a half hours but ANYWAY!) (I also first read this as you asking me for tips on how to get comfortable in bed dfjldskfjsdflkjdfs)
ummm wow gosh where do I start. firstly, THANK YOU for loving my writing so much, I’m really… astounded and flattered and speechless, honestly. I’m not sure what level of detail you were wanting but! I guess I could share my writing process/how my brain works, as a type of advice you can take if you want? but just remember that everyone’s creative process is different so what works for me might not work for you!
the first thing I’d like to remind you is this: writing, like any type of art, gets better with practice. so I guess my biggest tip would be to just go ahead and do it! you don’t have to write full fics or stories, you don’t have to write things to publish for other people to read—you can write self indulgent things, just for yourself. no sentence you write is ever wasted.
you also specifically mentioned about the words I use. I love vocabulary! I get inspired by words and turns of phrase and metaphors etc all the time—in other people’s writing, in poems, songs, youtube videos, all sorts. I discover new words and rediscover old ones I’d forgotten about, or had slipped my mind—I take a note of all of these in a google doc (great for on the go!) so I don’t forget them. sort of like my own personal dictionary, I guess!
okay! onto tips, specifically focused on fic writing I suppose? wow I don’t feel qualified to give advice at all but here I go:
try not to go into a fic blind. I’m not saying you need a fully written plan—lord knows I never have one of those—but you should at least know the main story beats and the ending. it saves from losing the thread/writing unnecessary scenes
try to balance dialogue with description. of course it depends on the scene—some will be more dialogue heavy (e.g. two characters having an argument) while some will have way more description (e.g. describing the area that’s important to the story)—but try to make sure that it doesn’t feel like you have too much of one and not enough of the other?
- on the note of dialogue—I try to make my characters talk like actual people! they pause (“I… don’t know?”) and they cut themselves off (“What—wait. What do you mean you lost your mother?”). I just feel like it’s more realistic and it can reflect how a character is feeling in an exchange without you having to explicitly state it
one piece of advice I remember reading somewhere about dialogue is this: if you’re rewriting one sentence over and over, struggling with how one character is responding to another, it’s not enough to just delete that sentence and rewrite it. chances are the root cause of the issue is actually a few lines of dialogue back—I usually delete a small chunk of the exchange before I rewrite it, and it always goes better after that.
another piece of advice I read years ago that’s stuck with me is about the flow of sentences, here it is:
Tumblr media
I’m guilty of a lot of run on sentences, I know, but I try to vary it. mix it up. I try to write in a way that’s easy and pleasant to read, so sentence flow/pacing is pretty important!
so to change up sentence flow—play with punctuation! dashes, semi-colons, colons, brackets; they all change how writing feels.
characterisation. I take characterisation pretty seriously and always try my best to keep it realistic and consistent. of course characters (/members) will differ dependant what world they’re in and what they’ve been through, but sometimes when I feel like I’m not doing a member justice then I’ll go to yt and watch compilation videos of them HAHHA
I love pretty vocabulary but remember that you’re not winning any prizes if you don’t reuse the same word. keep it mixed up, of course, and synonyms are great, but please don’t feel like you can’t ever repeat yourself/please don’t feel like you have to use a different word for “said” every time you write it.
I cannot begin to describe how helpful it is to share your writing with people you trust. I can safely say I wouldn’t have finished certain fics if I hadn’t been encouraged/supported by my friends—even when I felt like I was writing pure garbage they were the voices of realism and comfort that got me to the finish line. writing is a pretty personal thing but sharing that process is beyond rewarding, trust me. and they can give you advice as you go (but remember, at the end of the day it’s YOUR writing so you can always reject that advice if you don’t agree)
oh ooh here’s one I just remembered. once a fic is finished, I always try to leave it for a day or two before I go back and edit it for the final time. it lets things stew a bit, you know? I always feel better after sleeping on things
and now general writing advice, not related specifically to fics:
read! it seems pretty obvious but reading helps a LOT
identify what parts of other people’s writing that you like. if there’s an author you admire, what exactly is it about their writing that you like? okay you can say “everything” and that’s valid HAHA but what I mean is—is it how they pepper in metaphors? how they set up scenes? their characterisation? identify it and try to emulate it in your own writing
but don’t forget that everyone has their own voice. no two writers are the same and that’s what makes writing and reading so beautiful. get inspired by other people but don’t feel like you have to sound like them!
write what YOU think is interesting and what YOU want to read. you’ll always be more invested. writing isn’t necessarily easy but it shouldn’t feel like a chore. have fun with it!
sdfgkljldfgjkdfg okay I have no idea if anything I said was helpful;; please let me know if there are specific things you’d like me to give tips on? again, this is just how I think about writing/what works for me, but I’m more than happy to share! I wasn’t sure exactly what to advise on, honestly, hence why this post is pretty disjointed. I do hope you got some ideas, though?

Summary: Patton struggles to finish an essay as the deadline approaches.
Words: 745
Category: Hurt/Comfort
Ship: Royality
Warnings: cursing, self-deprecation. Ask me to tag anything else.

~
Musicals have a long history, tracing back to ancient Greco-Roman times
No.
Musicals have influenced our world for the longest time, and it is fair to say that they are a solid pillar in our society
Nope.
When one is asked to think of popular media in the modern world, one of
What the hell?
“Putangina!” Patton hisses, slamming one hand onto the keyboard. He takes off his glasses and wipes his eyes, trying to force down the tears that were building up. The tea wasn’t helping the fog in his head clear up. His eyes were drooping. His arms felt like lead, and the white emptiness of the document seemed to taunt him with its ever-blinking cursor. The blanket draped around him, its weight and warmth normally a source of comfort for Patton, now felt like it wasn’t even there. Patton felt detached. He couldn’t focus. It didn’t help that his back was hurting from all the slouching.
He should’ve gotten a coffee packet earlier, he thinks. Shouldn’t have wasted his time on youtube. How stupid, he scolds himself. This is stupid. I’m stupid.
“Patty?”
Patton flinches, and looks over to the sleeping figure beside him, now blinking sleepily.
“Oh my gosh, did I wake you?” Patton whispers in a panicked tone. “I’m sorry-”
“No, babe, it’s fine,” Roman reassures, sitting up. “I just heard you curse and… well, you don’t do that a lot.”
Patton chuckles weakly, and presses a kiss to Roman’s head. “I’m fine Ro-ro, go back to sleep.”
“Uh, no, you’re obviously not,” Roman says, now sitting up straight. He leans his head on Patton’s shoulder and yawns. “What’s going on, berry?”
Patton sighs, and lazily waves a hand at the screen, where a keysmash sat leisurely on the empty page. Roman’s eyes furrow.
“How long have you been working on that?”
Patton rubs his fingers together for comfort. “Two… three hours?”
“You didn’t start until… eight?”
Patton shakes his head, wiping more tears away. “I-I didn’t do anything, even though the assignment was given two weeks ago, I didn’t do a single fucking thing–”
“Woah, hey, hey,” Roman immediately puts an arm around Patton. “It’s okay, you had other things going on.”
“Barely.” Patton chokes on his words. The tears were spilling out now. “I only had two other projects. I had plenty of time to–”
“No, you didn’t,” Roman says, firm. “Love, one of your projects was to literally paint an abstract piece. You couldn’t find the paints for days. The other was to compile and edit your favorite videos. I saw how long it took you to find that one vine.”
“I shouldn’t have spent so much time on that.”
“I would argue otherwise,” Roman says softly, rubbing Patton’s shoulder. “That vine made you happy, and you wanted it in your project. So I’d say the effort wasn’t a waste.”
“Still…” Patton starts to delete the keysmash. “I could have done it today. But I spent all my time on youtube.” He laughs weakly. “If that isn’t a waste of time, I dunno what is.”
“Executive dysfunction is nothing to blame yourself on.” Roman argues. “ADHD sucks.”
“But now I have no time to do this. The deadline’s after the exams next week, and I know if I start studying tomorrow I won’t have any time for this.”
“Then don’t do it now,” Roman suggests, nuzzling Patton’s neck. “Pass it in a little late, I doubt you’d barely get a deduction.”
“Negative five points for every day over the deadline we don’t pass it in,” Patton mumbles.
“Out of fifty points. You still got plenty of time.”
Patton sighs, and looks over at Roman, who looks back with a comforting smile. He wipes away the tears off Patton’s face.
“You’ll be fine,” Roman assures. “And if you do need help…” He wiggles his eyebrows. “You can always ask Logan.”
Patton groans, though a tiny smile appears. “Come on, don’t pretend you don’t have a crush on him too.”
“You got me there.” Roman chuckles, and kisses Patton on the cheek. “Just go to sleep now, okay? Health is important if you want a good grade of any sort.”
Patton kisses back on Roman’s forehead softly. “I guess you’re right,” he concedes.
Roman closes the laptop, and Patton sets it down on the floor. Slowly, they both lay down, and Patton wraps his arms around Roman.
“Thank you, mahal kita,” Patton mutters, as he drifts off to sleep.

Confessions Of A Fic Writer
Hey guys, I’m taking a break from editing my latest Larry fic (MrsStylinson on ao3) and I need a distraction so I decided to conduct my own interview...of myself. But it’s basically a quiz and anyone can reblog and use :) Tag your fave authors if you wish.
1. Fandom(s)/Main ships(s). 1D. Larry. I have others but this is the only one I feel compelled to write about.
2. Favourite trope. It’s probably a tie between enemies to lovers and friends to lovers. So I guess that probably means my true favourite is slow burn!
3. Favourite fic idea that you’re yet to write. Mongrels to Men. Sort of like ladette to lady or ladettes to ladies or whatever it's called. So like Louis would be a promiscuous party boy type with like substandard manners. And for whatever reason his mum signs him up and Harry is like his mentor and has to teach him to be all posh and stately and Louis just makes fun of him and ends up teaching Harry to loosen up. And it involves some kind of makeover scene/bit
4. Favourite one of your fics. This is also tough because I’m so critical and I hate everything I write hahah. But maybe my Bridget Jones’ Diary AU? You Drive Me Crazy (But It Feels Alright). I feel like that one had a more fleshed out voice. The characters were well formed (possibly because of all the help I had from the original). My drunk in love fic comes close and I have a lot of love for two of my WIP’s when I don’t think about the lack of attention they’ve garnered but yeah, basically I hate everything.
4. Favourite fic by someone else/Fave author. I am making this so tough on myself because I have so many favourites. @cherrystreet’s bachelor fic (This Wicked Game) is a huge one. I never get sick of it. I love @all-these-larrythings (reaverview dreamer on ao3) and the medium fics by deathchamber on ao3. There’s so many more: (whoknows on ao3 whose tumblr I found but can’t manage to link or @louiswolves: grapenight on ao3 whose fic featuring a cat is an absolute must.) But I digress.
5. The first fic I ever read: I don’t remember this. I think it was a supernatural one and I wasn’t too keen but after being introduced to a YouTube compilation of Larry, I read a fic where Louis played soccer and Harry was a popstar and Louis proposes at a game at the end (I cannot find the name of it. I don’t know if it’s been deleted or if I’m an idiot because I’m pretty sure it’s a hugely popular fic.) I remember bawling my eyes out and after that, I never really went back to het romance. Not long after I started writing myself.
6. If someone could write YOU your dream fic, what would it be? I think it would definitely be a slow burn (surprise) with plenty of angst, plenty of fluff and plenty of smut towards the end. I would LOVE to read another bachelor fic but I just love really specific ones, maybe cause it’s something I struggle to write. I love fics based on movies or a really particular area of knowledge.
7. If you had to sum up your writing style in three words, what would they be? Descriptive. Emotional. Angsty. Is that the same as emotional? Okay. Descriptive, emotional and....poetic. It was really hard to come up with positive ones tbh.
8. What is your favourite thing about being a fic writer? The appreciation from my readers. When someone lets me know that something I wrote connected with them or made them smile, I feel like I have a very special power that not everyone has.
9. What is your least favourite thing about being a fic writer? The pressure. The insecurity. The hours spent working without pay hahah. Just kidding. I do enjoy it and I’m not skilled enough to get paid for it anyway.
10. If you could give any advice to your past self or to people thinking of trying out fic writing, what would it be? Well I’m not really qualified but i’m interviewing myself as if I were a success so, to my past self, I would say...stop trying to find a million different ways to say blue or green eyes. (I’m still guilty of this but I’m getting better.) Edit more and use flowery language less. Find active verbs and metaphors instead of more adjectives and adverbs. Remember to show not tell!! To other future writers, I’d say remember to write what you love, not what you think other people will love. This is how the best stuff comes out. If other people don’t like it, remember that writing, like art, thrives on your sole purpose/happiness and wastes away when you’re dissastisfied. Also, inspiration is endless! I often get writer’s block but I’m slowly learning to look for cues in new places.
11. What inspires you to write? And what other forms or genres do you write in? I’m inspired to write by the complexity of human emotion and human struggle. Having suffered from some illness or another, be it physical or mental, since I was a young teen, I am always conscious of our ability to survive and for me, there is no greater way to honour my own survival than to follow my passion and write romance. I mostly write romance but I have dabbled in thrillers and dirty realism. I also write in the form of poetry and short opinion pieces aka rants.
12. Why do you think fanfiction has become such a phenomenon?
think it’s because we live in an age of information overload where we’re always able to get our hands on more of the things we love. However, when it comes to characters, those die with the final line in a novel or the final line in a television series. Fanfiction resurrects them. As for fics based on real people, I think it’s just a form of escapsim. Sometimes you see two people who seem like they’d be absolutely perfect together and the fantasy is more enjoyable than the reality.

Progression of Movie Making - Weeks 7-10
Phew, it has been a really busy three weeks. And all those three weeks have all had to do with movie making in some way. So, I thought today, in this post, I thought I’d go through the process of making such trailers as well as a detailed guide on poster design.
Movie Process
Step 1 - Planning
The first step to making a movie is to have a plan. Planning involves an idea to start off with. For mine, I chose to make a movie based around an apocalyptic blood moon, but you can use any idea that comes to mind first.
What makes planning so difficult is that there has to be a reason why you chose this or this. The reason why I chose mine is because for one, it was the first idea that came to my mind. Secondly, it was pretty much the only thing I could think of that was feasible for me unless I wanted to spent hundreds of hours adding 3D models in Cinema4D and After Effects (which I’m not capable of doing).
This was a big problem for me as I had little to no choice but to do live action sequences and only some scenes with feasible effects and additions. But this was a good decision for me as I don’t particularly like projects as hard as a real 1-hour movie, even though we were only set to do a movie that was between 60-90 seconds.
But in the end, whatever you plan to do depends on your aspirations and management. Never go overboard and recreate a Harry Potter movie if you plan to. You won’t get very far.
Step 2 - Storyboarding
Storyboarding is the next major step. You’ve got your ideas, but how will you execute those ideas to get the results you intend? This is where storyboarding comes into play, as you’ll plan out shot by shot what you’re making.
But this isn’t going to be easy either. Alongside instructions and shot plans, you’ll also need to gather any props that you may need for production. Depending on what prop you may need, it may be difficult to get hold of one of them. Whether it’d be a custom-made stone structure or another thing that may take a lot of time or money to get, make sure you double-check before order.
In my movie trailer, I didn’t need many props at all as I only had a torch and a borrowed dagger (another prop that another student had on the day which was essential). The reason why I ended up borrowing it is because I didn't plan ahead and got one during the Halloween season.
While you could simply get as many of the same prop as possible, you’re essentially wasting your time and resources by not using some of them. So unless you’re a collector or have a group of actors using them, do not get more than one of the same prop.
Always plan ahead with the storyboard.
Step 3 - Production!
Production is the biggest step in your movie trailer. This is where you execute all of your ideas that you can do up to this point. But this is one of the hardest parts as well, so don’t go all in thinking you’d get it done in under a minute. You won’t.
Most importantly during this point, stick to your storyboard, that is where all your plans are alongside any note sheets you’ve got with you. This is vital to your production.
So, at this point, you will need to have done your plan, your storyboard, organising props and any actors you may need and LOCATION. I mean, filming it within the comfort of your home is certainly an option, but why not a camp site or empty field? Every student in my class went to a scout site as that is where we were heading for the production as there is so many opportunities there, such as a forest, river, beach and more, so I had no choice. I could’ve shot from elsewhere, but I chose to do it from the scout site.
But the most important thing you need for production, is a camera. Without that, how will you do production? At this point and haven’t done anything yet? You should’ve prepared.
Step 4 - Editing
So you have done your production and all scenes have been shot - nice one! Now you just need to compile it into the movie/trailer that you’ve dreamed about making. This is the fun part, as you get to experiment with multiple different shots.
For my movie trailer, I have chosen to shoot each scene at least three or four times, so I have a high chance of choosing a good shot for one scene.
However many times you shoot a scene is up to you, go wild. But having just one shot of the scene isn’t really going to work in the long run as you’ll end up with an odd looking video if cases aren’t right, unless you’re specifically aiming for that output... but why?
The next two paragraphs only apply if you are making a trailer, disregard them if you’re making a normal video or a full movie.
While editing, you may want to consider having music in the background to give the trailer more power and drama. Using stock music is an option, or you can make your own if you know how. For mine, I have chosen to use music from another source (if you’re curious, the music I used is the dream music from The Stanley Parable), but you can use any music you want as long as you have the capabilities to get it.
If you’re editing a trailer, you should also have subtitle cards in-between different scenes (such as “IT’S OVER” or “HE’S BACK”), as well as the logo and release date at the end. Just the season and year is good enough (such as “SUMMER 2019″ or “THIS SUMMER”), many trailers have that.
There are many editing softwares out there, but for my trailer I used Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. You can use any software you can get hold of, but be aware of limitations when it comes to trying out those free trials.
Step 5 - It’s all done, now what?
So now that you’re done editing, what you do next is up to you;
Publishing - If you publish this online, make sure you give credit to all sources, unless you have somehow managed to do everything yourself. And don’t try and make money from it if you use any copyrighted material, it isn’t yours. You can purchase licenses to use some copyrighted material in commercial use, but this isn’t always the case as some companies are more strict than others.
If you publish this to a movie company or other commercial use, you will have to get the appropriate licenses to use any copyrighted products in your video, unless again, you have done everything on your own.
Keep it to yourself if you’re in doubt of legal publishing. It is better to be safe than to be sorry. For me, I’ve only published it unlisted on YouTube (see previous posts for more details) and won’t publish it anywhere else. I’m just going to keep it to myself. I only put it on YouTube so I can always have somewhere where I can view it.
So that is how you make a movie, at least from my point of view. Whatever else happens during that time depends on you.
Poster Design
Making a poster is not easy, but also not too hard. Use my poster for reference:
Tumblr media
This is a simple layout, so I’ll break it up for you:
Supreme Blood Moon = Title. The title is ALWAYS important.
You’ll need a teaser picture on the poster as well so you can base the colours and theme of the overlays on it. It can be a made-up picture, such as just the moon or just a dagger. Just keep it relevant to the film!
A super moon like no other = Subtitle. It is optional, you don’t need one, but it is best to do so for drama or mystery.
Credits at the bottom are also essential, because how else will the people know who is going to be in the film? Who is the cameraman? Who is the director?
Coming to theatres OCTOBER 6TH = Release date. Again, you can use just the season and year if you’re not good at making a rough estimate.
L Pictures = Movie company logo. You WILL need that on there too. Without it, how will people find out what company made the film? Pixar? Universal? Who knows without it?
However you manage the poster is up to you, but be aware of the mandatory details for it, as listed above.
Now you know all of the basics, you can make some awesome movies or posters for yourself, your friends and fans or everyone!

Car Talk #1 — Hard Work (transcript)
So this is the first in my series of Car Talk
which is things I talk about while driving in the car. Whatever’s on my mind. And, first of all, you might wonder why I would do something like this in the car. The main reason is time efficiency. I’ve always got things going on when I’m at home,
whether it’s work, family stuff, but the time I have in my car, these five, 10, 15 minute drives here and there are essentially a waste of time and one of the best ways to be productive is to find times of the day when you have wasted time and make them no longer wasted time.
You’d be surprised how much you can get done when you start doing that. Bringing me to my first point, I think we’re gonna just talk about today and, once again, these are all in my opinions. Take ’em or leave ’em.
But I have had some modest amount of success in my life so take it or leave it however you think. Follow or don’t follow. Listen, don’t listen. Maybe ’cause the first one is working hard. I feel that, just like I said right now about trying to find a little bit of dead time during your day, time where you might not realize you’re wasting, is one of the best ways to get more work done and more accomplished throughout the typical day.
When you add up the time you’re spending looking at Facebook, looking at videos on YouTube, chatting around a water cooler, spacing out, whatever the case may be, talking to your coworkers, if you have coworkers, these are all times during the day that you’re really gonna waste and not really even realize it
and I bet in the course of a day, if you’re at an office, say working, like, an eight something hour shift and you’re there about nine hours, I bet at least an hour of the day is time you probably waste doing any number of random things like that. Might not be the case, but it very well might be the case and you probably don’t even realize it. For people like me that are self employed entrepreneur type people where I don’t really– I’m the sole operator so I don’t really have any coworkers
But the main thing is various time sucks whether it’s scrolling through a Facebook feed or watching some TV in the background or running around this and that and the main thing I think is you really have to work hard and you really have to look for those inefficiencies in your day to do things. Like, I’ve started, like if I have to run to the bank to drop off things, deposits, things like that, run to the post office to do that instead of my house address for a lot of things, that is much better when done early in the morning.
I’m talking, like, 5:00, 5:30 time frame to do these things because you can get through much faster so if you need to run from your house to the post office and the bank which is a very common thing for a lot of business type people you might be able to do it in 20 minutes versus 45 minutes later on in the day and right there is a 25 minute savings (fingers click) just like that. And someone like me who’s a practitioner, I have a business I have to run day to day every day, that is obviously a time thing but if I wanted to also push out my personal brand such as this, I realize there’s a lot of dead time in the car if I take the kids to school, I pick ’em up, like right now, on the way to the grocery store, weird random things like that I can do, I can document something right now and have a five to seven minute video,
Whatever the case may be, which I can also then put on the SoundCloud as audio for anyone that wants to listen to things like that to generate content. So anyway, that’s my thoughts for today on the premier episode of Car Thoughts which is not thoughts on car but thoughts inside of cars and make sure to watch the TD Grind, that’s every workday, every weekday you’re gonna find that on all the social channels on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, everything like that. You’re gonna find it–Instagram. It’s a compilation of Instagram story throughout the day. It’s like a two, three, four minute video of the trials and tribulations of that particular day. So that’s the TD Grind which you can find by following me at any of the Tyler Douthitt on social media profiles that I operate.
