to be completely honest I don't rotate chopper as much as I do the others, and he's harder for me to draw bc animals but he's SUCH a little guy. I would do anything he wanted. incredible little dude I hope he gets more times to shine !!!

based on your interpretation of the military Yang ask, i find it absolutely hilarious that Yang just casually knows government secrets, due to ironwood just telling her. Does Ozpin know he tells her?? Like, during the Mistral bandit can arc, Raven is just giving her the whole 'Grimm has a master' speech and Yang's like, 'duh. I already know. Next your gonna say you can turn into a bird and the sky outside is blue or something??'.

And I love the thought of Penny and Yang being friends, it'll give Penny more *human* interactions and mean she won't act as stilted as she does in canon.

My most favorite part of that au is that she knows stuff she shouldn't. I wonder if that's why I like the time loop and MitC verse's so much....?

As a mesh of my interpretation and the actual original askers actual AU i think ironwood eventually kinda recruits Yang and sense her whole family was part of ozpins inner circle for a while he probably sees it as fine if he tells her certain things that are definitely secrets probably not everything but enough that he would think it gained her trust and loyalty because Yang is a VERY loyal person (one of the things that would make her a good soldier) but the way Yang is loyal isn’t the way that he’d want which is individually and relationship based so she’d be loyal to ironwood if he helped her and told her this stuff but as like a friend not as a general of the army or like her boss and she’d never keep those secrets if it posed a danger to the people she cared about

And if she knew the army was doing some messed up she’d offer that information whenever it came up cause she has a very solid sense of right and wrong

I don’t know if he’d tell ozpin he told Yang these things but if it ever came up that she knew ozpin would probably assume it was any of the people related to her that told her like maybe qrow when drunk so I doubt he’d get caught

I love the idea of Yang being like “Sky’s blue, moms are birds, government is evil, nothings new, one(1) portal please”

3. and because i know we’re all egocentric, have you ever made yourself laugh out loud or cry with a fic you wrote?

i laugh every single time i’ve written a text convo in spidey-reg and the whole “it’s nice to have a friend” series (except for like two text convos in the prequel, one in cmbcyb, and one in the sequel, but once those have been posted, y’all will Know which ones were the serious convos and which were basically mini crack fics that i had too much fun with). my favorite overall would have to be in ch4 of spidey-reg when reg texts luke and alex separately to ask if bobby has called either of them their husband before, luke is like “yeah dude, regular occurrence, also we went wedding ring shopping,” and alex is like “did you guys elope,” and then reg is like “hey alex let’s go get married rn for revenge purposes” and it is so incredibly dumb but also really fucking funny to me

as for crying: the confession scene in cmbcyb. i cried while writing, proofreading, and rereading it (bc i forgot everything that happened and i wanted to make sure pre/sequels didn’t have any discrepancies). it got me every time.

(you did not choose a fic which means i have too much power oh gosh) i am currently on vacation so i don’t have my laptop and i can’t figure out how to insert audio from mobile SO i cannot read it to you (and i’m also indecisive so this highlighted part is my fave bit at the moment bc idk if i have one overall; also i left before/after dialogue for a bit of context)

(it’s funny bc there was never a u.s. president andrew garfield. i think there was an andrew and a garfield separately, but thinking there was a president with the name andrew garfield is my own personal funny brain bonk)

12. what headcanon will you keep implementing in your fics, even if canon ends up contradicting it?

hmmm idk. maybe reggie and the baseball bat? canon reg is Not violent; his method of revenge is just like. screwing around (“hello bobby” on the mirror, “we should’ve done more, like written ‘thief’ on his forehead,” playing around with the blinds and the sheet to scare victoria and help carlos). i just. love the baseball bat, and it reminds me of stiles stilinski and steve harrington. 90s!reg would probably have owned (or tried to buy) a lightsaber, though, but idk how expensive/accessible they would have been back then, and this dude is an american, and you could easily buy a baseball bat at so many more stores (than a lightsaber) today.

from what i’ve published so far, it’s only in the canon-compliant-ish one shots (where basically everything is the same except romantic alex/luke/reg and flynn/julie), but that’s bc 1. spidey-reg doesn’t need a baseball bat, he has super powers, and 2. i haven’t posted the cmbcyb sequel yet but spoiler alert: someone’s getting a baseball bat.
