#spnfanart#spn art#castiel#spn fanart#supernatural#wiggleart#spnfanart redraw project#so okay sooooo...okay#the new redraw doesn't match the emoticon QUITE as well#but i don't like drawing worried expressions much anymore#every so often but i wanted this to be more of an excersize of digital painting rather than matching expressions#so this is the first lineless fanart in my tag#i usualily prefer to paint now without lines like all the other art i've posted inthe other months recently have been lineless#only the redraws have had lines and i like linework i doooooo i dooooo but i miss just doing this kinda stuff#i originally did this redraw with the clean color blocks like the original but i didn't like it as much#so i decided to show an evolution in painting approach rather than mimicking the painting style#i'm not a great digital painter compared to others but i have learned what i like and dislike and what i like is hatching and if it calls#for it — gentle highlights or shading in a block before i put the hatching in#i like a sketchy style color job lol as opposed to suppppper clean#i also straight up just really love the glowy blending options lmao#so yeah the lesson learned in this redraw was more of like a true comparison from where i was with my first forays into lineless#artwork versus where i am now#the redraw was a little looser than i thikn i usually like doing coloring but i wanted it to really contrast#oKAY I'M DONE TALKING NOW
