English is hard and spelling is hard but this misspelling is sending me. Anyway for reference, these are two different words:

Hummus

The first syllable is pronounced like "Hum" and rhymes with "Gum". A tasty spread or dip made with chickpeas.

Humus

The first syllable is pronounced "Hyoo" like in "Human". The organic component of soil, such as decomposing matter and associated microbes.

I would advise against increasing the hummus content of your garden. I would also advise against eating humus with bell peppers and pretzel chips.
