we basically sent it through bg3 act 2 last night for 7 hours straight and anyway it was super fun and leland died like. 4 times and got his ass beat by 500 skeletons but then freed selune’s daughter and was blessed by her and now he has angel wings (‘:

#i was saving the stupid angel wings mod for the right Narrative Moment and im glad my homies indulged me in this nonsense #but anyway the power of compassion and yes it is good to keep love and kindness in your heart and extend it to others even knowing #they might betray or hurt u. it is about you doing what is good in your heart!#it is funny how the lore worked out there bc danny let leland have his selune necklace after leland broke his oath and couldn’t connect w #his own god and felt alone. and then selune sort of guided them through shar’s temple and it was selune’s daughter they save #and now leland’s oath is not built from devotion to a god or order of knights but to his friends and allies and to love!#although there is also Something to paladin of ilmater god of taking on the suffering of others quite literally tanking several beatings #so his friends don’t have to. then getting protected and saved by his friends when he needs them most TT—TT #this is why the oath of devotion is about love!!! this is why tanking is about love #also just a funny little aside but i think it’s cute that one of his new paladin abilities summons these holy spirits and the spirits are #little bluejays flying around him. like why that imagery work out again.#i also like to think that beyond aylin blessing him with wings #maybe ilmater blessed him with his new powers (he literally has a resurrect on allies now) and some crazy powerful smites
