「LOST CORNER」 クロスフェード | Kenshi Yonezu listen to the new album here!!
#lost corner#クロスフェード#cross fade#米津玄師#kenshi yonezu#音楽#gif#my gifs#alright i admit it's been more than a few days but in my defense i didn't initially anticipate giffing this video#thus *20 gifs* for a single set#but !!!#just look at those colors !! the animation !!#(reminds me sliiiightly of spiderverse)#also what better way to celebrate kenshi yonezu's album release#in no way am i complaining about 20 gifs bc that means a 20 song album !! 🤩#i've been feeling very emotional & almost wistful listening to it#just having so many songs from the past 4 years in one place#at the same time though they've taken on a new meaning#being assembled as they are with the 8 new songs there's a very strong yet gentle message of acceptance#he reiterates it across his interviews too but how important it is to identify & hold on to the key parts of yourself#so that even as you lose things throughout your lifetime or people misinterpret who you are#there are certain parts that can't be taken away#all that is to say i really really love this album#my favorites out of the new songs rn are probably post human & がらくた & lost corner & マルゲリータ#i also have a new appreciation for 月を見ていた#idk if other people experience this but sometimes a song doesn't really Hit until put into context of the other songs#and then it becomes your Fav Point in the process of listening to the whole album#other examples i can think of are sunstruck on idkwntht & うたかた歌 on forever daze#but yeah#this album is definitely one of my favs released this year & one that i think will resonate for a long long time

SinoAlice: Guild Co-op Event - The Songful Banquet of Cherry Blossoms Translation
*Spoiler free: Translations will remain under cut *Welcome to my whims. Hameln is fine.
Tumblr media
Question, question! What does Spring entail?
Tumblr media
It’s got to be clamming and camping, of course!
Tumblr media
I know we did clamming last year for the Spring Event, but that was only because the Planner managed to come up with the idea of swimsuits after much turmoil...
Tumblr media
In other words, it’s the dark history of how it came to be; one of pain and suffering. Only a demon would make one shudder to remember such a time!
Tumblr media
Even if that’s how it truly is on the inside...
Tumblr media
In any case, let’s start from the beginning again. When it’s Spring, it’s-!?
Tumblr media
Um, errrr…Flower viewing, perhaps...?
Tumblr media
Bingo! That’s right!!
Tumblr media
Huh? What!? Something as straightforward as that does it!?
Tumblr media
Of course. Simple is best, sometimes.
Tumblr media
Yay~! Flower viewing~! We’re going to be flower viewing! Oh, how fun! How exciting!
Tumblr media
The entertainers have already been gathered. First, we’ll have Gretel, followed by Cinderella and Hameln.
Tumblr media
That’s amazing! I can foresee the chaos and confusion they’ll bring right from the get-go!
Tumblr media
The one who makes for the most chaotic Flower Viewing wins.
Tumblr media
Should we get the 3 entertainers started now then? Hmm? There seems to be someone headed this way? ...This is…?
Tumblr media
I see...Well, that works too. Any last minute participants are welcomed to jump in anytime! Let’s all enjoy ourselves together with the guests!
Tumblr media
Yes, this looks like it’ll be real fun. Absolutely so, indeed...

Once. Just once, did I ever attend an Idol’s concert at the insistence of my friend who dragged me along.
It was a world akin to a dream; something I never thought possible.

“Everyone~! Thank you all for coming to     Hana’s     live today! I’ll grace your ears with the best and greatest song out there in this perfect place of mine!”
The scenery was well-suited to a cup of sake, the air aflutter with the pink petals of the cherry blossoms. If only the place hadn’t been jacked by the “Library’s No.1    Idol   ” Speaking of, she’s so bad at it that she's about a 100 times shittier than what’s already considered crap; singing shitty songs all on her own accord and wrangling ears everywhere.
“This...I don’t think I can stand listening to this anymore…”
Hey, Narcissist. Erase her.”
I doubt I’ll even have to do anything, really.”
That being said, he pointed his finger at something. A group of nightmares were already     seething     in     anger     at the hellish ear grating they were forced to suffer through; already reaching to the limits of their patience.

I understand that my singing makes one feel the urge to dance but rampaging? That’s a big no-no✰ ”
Kicking the Nightmare away, she did a light twirl on the spot.
“You’ve got to     dance     like this if you’re going to do it!”
She started to dance     Avant    -    garde    , coupled with the horrid song that was out of this world; one so appalling that it almost felt like someone was gouging my very heart out.
“I’m actually starting to get dizzy from seeing this…”
A horrible, ear-grating song and an equally unbeautiful dance. One that actually made the glossy brown-skinned Cinderella lose all the killing intent that she wielded.
That being said, this also repulses me, of course.
But the strangest thing was that Gretel, the one with beautiful legs, seemed     utterly     charmed     and     entranced     by the song...

The seats were so far from the stage itself. Rather than seats, it was actually more like a stand.
Watching the stage surrounded by psyllium lights from afar, it bore a resemblance to a flower garden of sorts.

Listening and watching the shitty tone-deaf woman     Hana     singing and dance made me lose all the fight in me. Or, more like...It would be a waste to even feel rage at this...
It might even be called art, considering just how bad she was. My consciousness slowly faded as my vision grew hazier, as if rejecting reality itself.
“The smoke’s looking good! Keep it coming! Fill the area with colour―!”
The surrounding trees shook, seemingly responding to the tone-deaf girl’s command. And then, a     yellow     smoke     spewed forth.
“Is this…    pollen    …?”

━━━━━━━━━━∘◦ ♯ ❀ ♯ ◦∘━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The girl sang, and sang she did. She laughed about wanting to make everyone smile. All so innocent, all so pure. Thus, I taught her a new song.
━━━━━━━━━━∘◦ ♯ ❀ ♯ ◦∘━━━━━━━━━━━━━

I thought that Idols were amazing. Just one person, able to bring smiles to countless others. I admired Idols; they were my admiration.
━━━━━━━━━━∘◦ ♯ ❀ ♯ ◦∘━━━━━━━━━━━━━
That girl’s voice held power. The power to urge us to motion; to act. That’s right―— The power to reclaim our reign once more.

I was always sickly ever since I was little. I only inconvenience those around me, whenever I get admitted to the hospital. Rather than making people happy, I made people sad, more often than not.

Hana spoke, keeping eye contact with me the entire time. In other words, she’s probably asking us for help. Cinderella coldly refused after having grasped the situation.

“No way...how mean…!”

しかし―― I can’t stand being showered by more Pollen because of the shitty tone-deaf girl. I suppose we don’t have a choice but to show her the way. But――
(That Bro-con is being unsettlingly quiet.)
His unusual silence caught my attention, as he walked along behind Hameln, who had joined hands with the joyous looking tone-deaf girl. Usually, he’d be muttering “Brother, brother” all by his lonesome.
That very Gretel made a small sound.

Before I knew it, I was already standing below the Cherry Blossom Tree. There were many human-shaped plants, all with stunning flowers blooming on them.
Brother. It’s the same flower as the one blooming on you, Brother.”
Brother, who had flowers blooming on him, and me, who did not. That was utterly saddening, in a sense.
“Then how about you try becoming a     pair    ?”
I could hear singing coming from somewhere. A voice that I heard even back in the depths of that forest; back during the time I spent together with Brother. I recall telling whoever that had been to stay away from Brother, back then.
Then, let me grant your wish!”

The large amount of Pollen being scattered around along with the song. Along with the added effect of addling your mind… In conclusion, the     root     cause     of this was startlingly apparent.

An Idol, singing happily in a full-house venue, with flowers of light blooming all around… Because… I wanted to see the     smiles     on everyone’s faces. Because there was nothing but sad faces around me, due to my sickly nature――
“Next time, if I’m reborn…”
The girl murmured her last as she     faded     away     from the light.
━━━━━━━━━━∘◦ ♯ ❀ ♯ ◦∘━━━━━━━━━━━━━
…That girl was a     no    -    good     either, in the end. I’m certain this makes it the 34th person now. Even so, to think that her goal would be for people to notice her despite how she’s always crowing about how she wanted to see everyone’s smiles… She’s certainly got her priorities wrong.
But this is precisely what makes humans all so interesting. Well then, I suppose I’ll have to find another     nursery    .

Ehh…Using the Mastermind as smoking material…?
Tumblr media
“If that’s what the master of glossy skin wishes.” Said Hameln, and he beautifully cut up the Cherry Blossom Tree. As a result, the Library’s Special  Cherry Blossom Smoked Chips are being sold for an astoundingly high price!! Here’s the Sales Report. Amazing, isn’t it!
Tumblr media
Ehhh…You’re right. The Mastermind’s selling really well.
Tumblr media
How about we use the Sales earnings to go eat some smoked meat?
Tumblr media
Count me in―! I love eating meat when someone else’s paying!
Tumblr media

GS4 vs AJ:AA - Episode 2, Part 5
Here’s the last court segment of this episode! It’s also relatively shorter than the usual posts, but there’s a lot of dialogue I captured for context, so it doesn’t look shorter. There’s not too much deviation between the source and localized after we covered all the changes made to the Kitaki’s previously.
For once I started earlier today and got through it pretty quickly, but for the sake of a consistent posting schedule, I’ll stick with around midnight PST every other day or so. Seems like the best rhythm for me that I can keep up with.

> Court Lobby
June 17, 9:52 AM District Court Defendant Lobby No. 2
This is it, the big day! Did you get any sleep?
Yeah, I went to bed at 1:00 AM or so.
Oh? What time did you wake up?
That's only two hours, Apollo...
But, at least you have me!
...And the Amazing Mr. Hat!
<Mr. Here's looking at you, kid.
Originally: "Yes, I'm always keeping an eye on you." (It's supposed to sound supportive, I swear.)
>
Daddy! Do you know who Prosecutor Gavin's witness is today?
Take a guess!
Hmm... How about Little Plum?
Ah ha ha! That Sherman tank of a mom? Nope, guess again.
That's too bad. You know, speaking of moms...
You need to find me a new mommy one of these days, Daddy!
It's barely morning and you're at it already, Trucy!
Ah ha ha ha ha ha!
<Apollo> (だから、ウソっぽいんだよなあ、 この親子) (OK, see, this is why I don't buy their "father-daughter" relationship.)
I commented previously that Apollo questioned their father-daughter relationship and legitimately forgot that he also says this, and this time it does match what he originally said. So, my bad.
Also, Naruhodou describes her as "キモっ玉" (kimottama), meaning she got "guts" or "pluck" to her. I appreciate the "Sherman tank", though.
> Courtroom
<Judge> 少なくとも、 ハッキリわかったことは‥‥ We did find out one thing for certain.
There were three people in the park at the time of the murder:
The witness, the victim, and the defendant.
And today, I'd like to do something a little new age.
I'd like to look at this horrible crime... from the outside.
The "outside"...?
<Klavier> “凶器の入手経路”‥‥ “犯行準備”‥‥ The acquisition of the murder weapon... The preparation for the act...
Our poor defendant told all, you see.
...To his betrothed.
His... bee trove?
...His fiancée, Herr Judge. His partner for life... with no chance for parole.
Very well, you may show the erm... "lucky" lady to the stand.
Once again, the judge struggles with words outside of his language, and Kyouya, being the resident English expert, has to explain. That being said, "bee trove" is suspiciously apt as a metaphor to describe her...
>
...Your name and occupation, Fräulein.
My occupation... is future wife.
Ah, traditional values! I respect that.
Too many brides these days can't even weave baskets blindfolded... underwater.
Yet you're here today as a witness for the prosecution?
To be honest, I didn't want to testify at first.
But... I couldn't hide the truth.
Hmm. Honesty! Another admirable trait.
Originally, his "underwater blindfolded basket weaving" standards were about soft-boiling eggs so that the yolk hardens while the white remains soft. They're called "onsen tamago" because these eggs were traditionally cooked in a hot spring, but can be cooked in any ol' pot between 70-80°C (158-176°F). It's one of those old-timey signs that a soon-to-be-wed would be a good wife because she could cook. Now, the only time I'd ever see these eggs is when I don't boil them hotly enough.
On that note, nowadays there are underwater basket weaving Olympics. Thanks, Rio 2016. Maybe Tokyo 2020 (2021?) could include a special event category for egg-boiling.
> 1st Witness Testimony, press 3rd statement
Not really, I think. There's a system in place to limit access.
But Wocky's a special case, being the next-in-line.
Perhaps his treatment was a bit too special, ja?
Well, maybe he is a bit spoiled...
I hear he got amazing presents for his birthdays.
Last year was a switchblade made out of chewing gum and a chocolate gravestone!
<Apollo> (アブナイものが好きなのか、 アマいものが好きなのか‥‥) (Sounds like he has a taste for sweets... and danger.)
Originally, they were a rubber dosu and a chocolate hanafuda card. Danger AND gambling, but the kid-friendly kind!
Though, I can accept "chewing-gum switchblade" here because "ガム" (gamu) can also mean that kind of gum or the gum material of rubber.
> Press 5th statement, present Alita, present chart or sandals
Ms. Tiala!
You testified that you had no connection to the victim!
And I don't. Now.
"Now"...?
I quit half a year ago, didn't I? So there's no connection.
Let me guess, you're the kind of guy...
コイビトのムカシのコト、ぜんぶ 聞かないと気がすまないタイプの、 ...who can't rest until he knows every last detail of his girlfriend's past.
Am I right?
Th-That's not true at all! Why, I...
I embrace the ones I love, past flaws and all, no matte--
<Objection!>
"There's no connection now" doesn't fly in a court of law.
Doesn't... fly?
(She probably feels right at home with the Kitakis!)
Fyi, the judge responded here because she called them all out, not just the defense.
And yep, here it is again: "キモっ玉". So, a Sherman-tank mom and a tough-nut fiancée; no wonder she fits right in. (I still think "bee trove" is more apt, though.)
> Present more evidence to tie her in but present wrongly
Well, I suppose I could see--
<Objection!>
This trail you think you have found, it doesn't lead to the truth.
Nor to a long career in the legal profession, ja?
Gee, thanks.
Perhaps you will allow me to do the honors?
Hmm... Why not? It might be nice for a change.
Let’s Rock! Most excellent... Let's rock!
<Apollo> (なんだか‥‥ いつもの何倍もクヤシイ) (I'll take the usual penalty next time, thanks.)
Very well, Mr. Justice. Try again.
Look, guys, the JP script does have English letters and it has them for a good reason. Kudos to the loc team for that most excellent reference too.
> 2nd Witness Testimony, present medical chart at 4th statement, Perceive at new (6th) statement, present wrong evidence about the "threat"
...Because of what?
The eyes of a hawk... and the brain of a toad.
(Ribbit! I mean, ack! I can't lose this now!)
(C'mon toad brain, one more try!)
Originally, the metaphor was "brain full of cobwebs". So Odoroki tries dusting his attic.
> Press newer (7th) statement
We already know you're lying about having no reason!
I know you know! Don't look at me like that!
Like I'm some two-bit washed up good-for-nothing...
You scared me!
...I concur.
Even I am rarely treated to such a... hot gaze.
(Maybe I need to do some face training, too...)
"Hot gaze"... Yeah, sounds about right.
Last line was simply: "(...I guess I made quite the face at her.)"
> Present bullet in safe
So she planned to marry him just to get her hands on this fortune?
<Objection!>
<Wocky> イイカゲンなコトを 言い散らかしやがってェ‥‥ You keep talking trash about my Alita...
...and I'll sue you, lawyer-man!
...Huh? Me!?
You said...
You said you'd... You'd...
You'd abuse my Alita!
Um, I think you mean "accuse"...!
Same difference! Well you can't have her! She's mine!
It was "kokuhaku" (confess, usu. love to someone) vs "kokuhatsu" (accuse).
>
Wake up and smell reality!
A... Alita-baby?
<Alita> カルテのサイン‥‥ 退院を待って、婚約‥‥ The signature on the chart, the engagement...
I mean, come on! It's so obvious.
Even for a brainless, spoiled brat such as yourself.
Your honesty is like a breath of foul air, Fräulein.
Hey, I wasn't getting out of this clean, anyway.
I think I'd prefer if Klavier here used a sound-based metaphor given how his entire character design is based on music. In the JP, he also used a sound metaphor: "It seems... we now hear your true voice, young lady."
Granted, "honne" also just means "true nature", but I like the hidden pun there.
> 3rd Witness Testimony, press 5th statement, point out "another place", point anywhere within the area of attention (double penalty)
This is where the killer shot from!
But then the killer couldn't have shot his right temple.
So young, and already senile. How unfortunate...
I'll have you know I'm not senile!
Why I remember exactly what I ate the morning of the crime!
‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥ ..............................
Ahem! Penalty!
<Apollo> (‥‥ズルいや) (...No fair.)
You seem intent on digging your own grave. Here, have a shovel and try again.
Odoroki suddenly dropping in Kansai accent out of the blue caught me off-guard. (It's his last line here.) Man was so devastated by that double penalty he got sent out west.
10/21/20 edit: Whoops, my bad. That wasn’t Kansai accent and wouldn’t have made sense if it was. He’s just sighing to himself, really, and I mistook that last ‘ya’ as a copula.
> Point to noodle stand, present slippers & bowls
現在、この法廷で‥‥ I would like to remind the witness of her current status.
This court does not consider you entirely innocent.
Show me an innocent... I'll show you a fairy tale.
...In any case.
The defense has, somehow, made its point.
The witness had both a motive and an opportunity to kill Dr. Meraktis.
More fairy tales! This whole trial is a fairy tale!
Then please, pull us back down to reality, Ms. Tiala.
I'm giving you one last chance to explain yourself.
Her last line here: "An absurd 'turnabout' like that... wouldn't even be seen in fairy tales!"
> 4th Witness Testimony, Perceive at 5th statement, point wrongly
...Gotcha, Ms. Tiala!!!
I heard you just fine the first time.
What, I wasn't aware we were playing paintball.
<Apollo> ‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥ ......
She's one cool cucumber, that Alita.
<Apollo> (‥‥どうやら、 ややハズしたみたいだな) (...Hmm. Maybe I spotted the wrong spot.)
Originally, she suggested "Cockroach", which iirc is a playground game with a mix of "Hide'n'Seek" and "Tag". For some reason, I'm struggling to find a source online for this, but I swear I remember looking it up before...
10/21/20 edit: Welp, I guess I was overthinking it. She just asks him if he spotted something icky like a cockroach.
> Point correctly, present lamp
Very well! This finishes the cross-examination of this...
<Objection!>
Heh heh heh.
Not so fast. This party's just getting started!
Let’s rock, guys! Now, we rock!
W-What!?
Those spikes on your head are softer than they look...
Or do you not have the stomach to go all the way?
...Come on, loc team, you had one job and you were doing so well with it up to here. At least dress up that "Now, we rock!" a bit with some German or Eurorock flair.
> Present bowls in clinic again or noodle stand, point out the river
<Apollo> そ。 Th-That's right...!
That night, the car that hit Mr. Wright...
宇狩 輝夫のクルマ、だった‥‥ ...was that green sports car!
Oh, yes! I-I'd nearly forgotten about it!
Afterward, he drove it back to that garage. It ran fine.
それなのに‥‥ ...That's right.
So why didn't he use his beloved sports car, hmm?
<Apollo> ぐ‥‥ッ! Urk...!
<Klavier> このムジュンが、キレイに 説明できないかぎり‥‥ A glaring contradiction, to be sure.
More glaring than your forehead.
No... Nooooooooooo!
The first time I played this part, I found it a lot funnier than I should have because I thought Apollo was screaming about how his forehead was so "glaring".
That's it. I just wanted to share. The JP lines are just the usual "With that contradiction gone, your conjecture won't stand... Odeko-kun!"
> Select "He couldn't use the car", present Magic Panties
そのときは 気がつかなかったケド‥‥ By the way, I learned something yesterday...
...A very important piece of information.
...And I learned it from you, Prosecutor Gavin!
Um, so you were here investigating?
And I was on my way home... when my hog gave up the ghost.
Your hog...?
My motorcycle won't start. A clogged exhaust pipe...
Too bad! It looks like such a nice bike, too.
Hard to believe that it could break just from that!
どんな理由であれ‥‥ Cars, motorbikes, they're all the same.
Clog the exhaust, and they won't run.
<Alita> エンジンが‥‥かからない‥‥ My, how interesting.
"My, how interesting", indeed. It sounds so out of place that I wonder if this was supposed to be a temporary line that they decided to keep in the final draft. For reference, it was just "The engine... was clogged...!?"
> Court Lobby
June 17, 4:12 PM District Court Defendant Lobby No. 2
Great job, Apollo! You did it!
Yeah, we did, somehow...
<Trucy> 滝太さんも、無罪になって‥‥ Wocky's off the hook...
...free to become the gangster he's always wanted to be!
And he has you to thank...
Hey! Attorney-man!
You're gonna pay for what you did to my Alita, homes!
...Or to blame, I guess.
You give my Alita back!
Stupid pointy-head attorney with a death-wish!
Ahaha, the full list of punk swears. I wonder if the loc team had the choice to use even more colorful words here, what would they have come up with? I mean, sure, Wocky is super childish in a way, but he totes would be that one kid in CoD screaming expletives and something about Apollo's mom.
>
Enough, Wocky!
Mr. Kitaki...
...It's high time you opened your eyes, Wocky.
What do you know, old man!
I think it's 'bout time you opened yours!
Givin' up the life, tryin' to become some kinda businessman!
Don't talk about what you don't understand, Wocky!
...I'm afraid the guard is going to throw them both out.
...If not in jail. Wouldn't that be a happy ending.
And then he'd throw the same kind of insults at his dad too, but with less about moms, I'd hope.
>
It was the gangster life that did this to you, Wocky.
...I want to help you, and I want to do it clean.
Please understand. Wocky...
M-Man, I see how it is, old man! Always you looking out for... out for...
Listen good, old man! One day... One day...
I'm gonna take you out! Then we'll see who's the O.G.!
You try to hide in your business suit, I'll find you!
Stupid ol' geezer!
My! Wocky!
...No, it's as it should be.
(その目で見つめないでほしいな) Mr. Kitaki! (I liked him more without the puppy dog eyes.)
...Wocky, ya big tsundere. I love this father-son relationship.
And it's contagious. Even Odoroki here is calling him "Oyaji-san" after all the times he was polite.
>
I'm glad... to have met you. I'm not so good with words...
But I know a professional job when I see one. Thank you.
<Apollo> そ。そんな‥‥ Who? Me? I don't think...
I'll bake you one of our latest... The Kitaki Lime Pie.
<Apollo> (‥‥お菓子屋さんにでも 落ち着くつもりなのかな) (...He's opening a pie shop!?)
Not just a pie shop; all the sweets you could find, with their specialty "Kitakitsune Wafer"! Technically, it's monaka, which is a wafer cake usually filled with asuki bean jam. It's also among the things you can see in the credits (exclusive to the JP version, anyway) when we see this happy family again.
>
Oh, that's right! We have to go someplace first!
<Apollo> え? Huh? Where?
Why, to claim our reward from Mr. Eldoon!
...Ah, salty noodles. Right. He got his stand back already?
Oh, and after that, you can come see my show!
With a special appearance by the Amazing Mr. Hat!
<Mr. Oh, it's special alright!
それ‥‥ Please... anything but him.
Originally the gentleman said: "It is going to be a rare sight, indeed."
--
Next up, the most infamous episode of this game for its unintentional earworm... Though honestly, I never really found it all that bad. That said, thank goodness SoJ had a skip button for certain scenes, even if I didn’t mind watching them over and over anyway.

[Eng Trans] 始まりの朝 / Hajimari no Asa / The First Morning
Spring has finally come!
HAHAHA. I wish I could really say this in real life. However, the Philippines does not experience this kind of season so...yeh. 🤷‍♀️😂 Also, I don’t think it’s already officially Spring season in Japan so...yeh(2).  🤷‍♀️😂
Still, this doesn’t stop me from loving this song. The first time I heard this (September of last year, which is definitely not spring season 😂 ), I really felt inspired, energized, and hopeful of what the future holds for me. The song itself is easy to listen to and sounds like an opening theme song for a slice-of-life anime. (Fun fact: they mentioned in one of their interviews that they were visualizing that this song is the OP of One Piece or that this song was inspired by One Piece - I’m not entirely sure HAHAHA as the audio in that interview wasn’t very clear. Well, whichever of the two is the correct reason, it still had something to do with the One Piece anime - definitely not slice of life, but...eh. :p) I mean, just imagine listening to this song while you walk/run to school/work, with Sakura trees (in full bloom) lining up the streets that you’re walking/running on. ;)
Also, we (might) know that spring is a symbol of new beginnings, of regrowth - just as how the Sakura trees (and other plants and trees) start to bloom again after the very cold winter, we also rise up and become stronger, more beautiful, and better versions of ourselves.
The above may not be the real reason for this, but the beginning of spring also signifies the start of classes in Japan. The song’s imagery reflects this (i.e. 8:30 chime - a symbol of the start of classes).
As much as I really wanted to say that the reason I’m posting this now is that spring is starting/has already started in Japan, that’s not the case. The real reason why I’m (only) posting this now (despite having this in my drafts for almost 6 months already????) is because I wasn’t confident of how I translated this song. I didn’t want to ruin this song for others with a translation that doesn’t capture the song’s message. I’m still not confident with this translation (there will definitely be some mistakes), but I feel like this is much better than the first 20 drafts that I had.  😂 Also, some might find the lyrics to be simple (this isn’t definitely as deep as I LOVE...), but it is because of this simplicity that I appreciated this much more and made it more relatable.
Hahaha. I’m sorry for the long intro. I really just love this song so so so much.
Well, here’s me wishing that you’ll love this song as much as I loved this. :D
Again, lyrics under the break. ;)
Also, translation may contain inaccuracies/mistakes/errors.

Mission Baze part 2 Explaination!
Hi everyone!
In Mission Baze Part One, in February 2018, a number of us sent personalized emails to Hot Toys. However, we found that HT do not return personalized responses if you contact by email or via social media. It was always a pre-written response.
Because of this, I am not aiming to receive a direct written response from them this time.
But I still want to let HT know that I appreciate the Chirrut figure and hope they will make Baze, because it is not a complete set without him!
So this time I am hoping to send fan photos I have taken of my Chirrut to send as postcards with a small message on the back.
I will not be expecting responses from HT- it will purely be fanmail for the Chirrut HT, and a reminder that I would still be interested in the Baze HT.
(I know chances for Baze may be very small now, but I am hoping that if enough of us can help in this project, they will at least know that there is still interest in the figure. And in fact a lot of people were invested in getting both Chirrut and Baze together, and were disappointed when he was not released.)
Plan: Make postcard of photos
You will not have to sign your name, you can remain anonymous, but if you write what country you are from, it will let them know how worldwide the fans are.
You are welcome to decide your photo theme! It can be emotional, funny sweet or even sad. It can be beautiful scenery or cool posed action. It can be Chirrut on a journey to find Baze, or even Chirrut not finding the right Baze! (Because every version of Chirrut made always has Baze as a partner available.)
If you are new to Mission Baze, I emphasise- this is a voluntary project- and also, it is one that is extremely anti-harassment.
The original Mission brief was to send only positive feedback and feelings to HT and staff about the Chirrut figure, and to let HT know we would be incredibly happy if they completed the set of both Baze and Chirrut, but we would not demand anything from them or send them any negativity.
This project was to send them positivity about their product from the R1 figure fandom. However- the more people who are willing to join in, spread the news and help, the more effective this project will be!
Everyone, thank you for listening to me. naniiebim ( Twitter: Mission Baze @MissionBaze )

Twitter Translation - Rib
idk how long it's been from last time I came here so I also don't remember last thing I translate orz with that being said, since he came back I'll translate some of his tweets
2017, March 16th
Despite all these amount of people who listen to my song and followed me (on twitter), I'm sorry for I haven't been able to upload any song for more than 2 years...It surprised me too that it's been this hard for me to find some free time to sing that it became this kind of long absence, but well, what else can I say for those who have waited until now.
As for myself, as long as there is a place to share my song on the internet, I never though something as "retirement", but then I'll need to finish everything in front of me (though I don't know how long it will takes) and someday after it'll be good if I'm able to upload songs again, is what I though. Pardon me for saying something so selfish.
There're those saying "It's been to late you know", but for those who, thankfully, waited for my songs even until now, there are no reason I can offer for this situation, so I though I should at least say what's in my mind. Excuse me for series of long tweets in the morning m(_ _)m

A lot of retweet, views, thank you so much! Uploading after a while, the upload window was changed, I don't even remember how to encode, it was all a mess, but seeing these warmth reactions made me feel relieved..... anyway, Rib-chan doesn't retire from being utaite you know~!!
それでは、所用で出かけまする。 今日は出来ない可能性高いんですが、せっかく新作も上げたので近々ニコ生もやりたいと考えとります! ※近々、とかほざいてますが例によって一ヶ月くらい先まで見て頂けると大変助かります……(^_^;
well then, I'll go out for some business. I don't think I can make it today, but since I upload a new songs I'm thinking of holding live broadcast soon! *I said "soon" but, well, you know, it'll be much appreciated if you take it as about 1 month later......(^_^;

Meet the Founder: Being An Educational Instruments Specialist: In hard times, solutions are found in school music class
By jmtrades on October 2, 2010 9:16 PM | No Comments
Manji Suzuki, CEO, Chairman, Suzuki Musical Insts. Mfg., Co., Ltd.
Tumblr media
Left Kawai in 1952, he founded Suzuki Gakki Seisakusho two years later to build his beloved harmonica. Demands for harmonica dramatically grew at school as Course of Study regulated harmonica as one of key materials for music education at elementary and junior high school. It successfully set future course of Suzuki to be a leading educational instrument manufacturer. In 1961, Suzuki first introduced Melodion, 34-key keyboard harmonica efficiently designed to teach students basics of scale. It was adopted into the Ministry of Education Teaching Materials Standard in 1969. The Melodion marks 50 years since debut in 2010. A total of 24 million units has been sold with over 50 models to this day.
Tumblr media
Company policy remains unchanged"In developing products, I'm always concerned about 1. How do music teachers use our instruments in class?, 2. Do children appreciate them? 3. Do our products effectively serve the purpose of education? When I launched my company, we have set our goal to give children dream and raise healthy mind through music making. We have shared the 3 points I mentioned at Suzuki from the very beginning. "Educational musical instruments are teaching materials that every child owns. Expensive instruments don't serve the purpose. Consequently, they should be offered at affordable price. How can we build competitive products to meet the requirements? I spend much of my time thinking over these issues. (photo right: Melodion 50th Anniversary models, PRO-37AR, PRO-37AB and PRO-37AS) When we face challenges, I find solutions and ideas in school. I frequently visit schools throughout Japan because I believe it's the basic to see where music is played. That is the reason why I suggest our people at Suzuki to see what's going on at school themselves with their eyes. In fact we learn a lot from educational front. Music teachers tell us in detail what we can improve in design and manufacturing. These advices and comments are really valuable. Nevertheless, they are reflected on our future products. The music teachers choose Suzuki instruments because we have responded to their requests. Good communication helped us establish respectable relationship with them. Even when we were unable to comply with their expectation, they understand it was somewhat irrational and we have done our best. Until 10 years ago, music teachers called me by nickname. Yes, they were our customers, but we shared the passion for quality sound and fine musical instruments. The long-lasting friendly relationship with them helped me to this day. Ideas for new technology come up through the communication with the teachers. They suggest, and the rest is our task. It's amazing that our employees come to think and respond as I do. They understand what I think working together. Consequently, we share ideas without words.
Tumblr media
To tell you about product development at Suzuki, it's more like meetings of craftsmen rather than of technical engineers. Casual talks finally materialize product designs. Except pianos and violins, we build almost all educational instruments for school at our factories. The basic of manufacturing musical instrument is to make original sound. It's standard to all products we make.
Tumblr media
(photos right: from top to bottom, Manji M-20,  S-48S and SU-2 Humming)  I founded the company to make my favorite instrument, harmonica. Since the very beginning we took reed technology as the center of our
Tumblr media
manufacturing. One of our goals is to continue to developing new reed instruments through extensive study of the core technology. Diversified manufacturing in Suzuki group"Suzuki group is consisted of 7 companies each of which has specific role to serve the entire group. I have had personal interest in machinery since young days. In pursuit of manufacturing good quality products in short time, Suzuki has grown to have subsidiaries with differentiated technologies. Tsumori Seiki launched in 1973 designs and develops automated machinery and precision molds. Since we have auto industry in Hamamatsu, the company finds a huge market besides requirements in Suzuki group. Individual subsidiaries have expanded exploring businesses outside of the music products industry accordingly. "Having many subsidiaries means that I don't have ability to do everything myself. Each subsidiary has experts who help me pursue my interests in various fields. All subsidiaries support and expand businesses of the parent company. "To offer competitive products to the customers, we must have efficient production system capable of manufacturing high quality products in consistent basis at reasonable price. I'm proud that Suzuki has a host of talented people who love creating things. We are a team of craftsmen. I believe the creative atmosphere prevailing in Suzuki group has greatly contributed to support music education and the growth of our business. "While manufacturing educational instruments, we have promoted music making among general public. For example, Suzuki Harmonica Society has been active promoting harmonica playing with help of name composers and singer/song writer. Music development is closely associated with promotional activities, and we get feedback from players which are naturally reflected on our product development. Offer products matched to customers' needs"Sales of Suzuki Melodion keyboard harmonica reached surprising 24 million units. I say, it' an incredible accomplishment. We worked very hard, but were also fortunate because it was associated with Japan's dramatic economic growth of the time. "We live in an age that we can survive only manufacturing truly innovative, high quality products. I believe recognizing situations we face gives us valuable ideas for product development. NAMM Show, Frankfurt Music Fair and other leading industry events are places of treasure hunting. Seeing products on display is exciting, but it's equally important to watch response of visitors. Visiting the trade shows always provide me with tips for future business. If you have one single product line, it will affect your business in hard times. But you can prepare for economic downturn having new products. I think it's the principle theory for manufacturers. Take advantage of people power"With declining birth rate, we can't expect number of school age children goes up in coming years. Today, it's about 1.1 million, half from the first baby boom period. We have experienced countless number of hard times in the past. Suzuki had serious difficulties twice. Both cases involved human resource and financial problem. When one of our business partners went bankrupt, we faced a risk of failure though it was rather a small loss. Banks weren't any help but people power relieved us from the adversities. "I don't think manufacturing things is difficult. Making good harmony of people is harder. it's often out of human control when it comes to people issue. All managers having staff will agree with me.
Hello everyone, I am Audrie Kiko Daniel, also known to my fans and most people as Kiko Mizuhara.
I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone in China and clarify a few things through this video,  especially the online community, for being upset with me over recent events.
For those who are not familiar with my background, I currently live in Japan, but I was actually born in the United States. My dad is American and my mom is Korean born in Japan. Our family moved to Japan when I was two. And growing up in Kobe with my diverse cultural background has given me the opportunity to be exposed to different culture and befriend people from around the world. More importantly, I learned to appreciate mutual respect for different people.
I see myself as a global citizen, and even before  coming to work in China in recent years, I have many Chinese friends in Japan who are very close and dear to me.
As I now spend more time in China, I feel fortunate to be able to make new friends, learn more about China; about its long history and it's amazing culture. I definitely would not offend or intended to offend anyone in China.
Hence, I would like to clarify and bring up close on three recent incidents.
Firstly, I am a supporter of world peace, and definitely, anti-war. I'm confirming that this is definitely not me in the picture. A very good Chinese friend told me that this is a case of "mistaken identity".
The second incident which I would like to clarify is related to another picture. I was accused of posing offensively in front of a flag. I would also like to confirm that I am not in the picture and that I am a supporter of peace.
Thirdly, there was a regrettable incident on Instagram in 2013 when I was introducing my friend to Instagram and I was encouraging him to post pictures. As a result, I was supporting his  posts by giving him 'likes,' but regrettably found out that he had posted an extremely inappropriate picture. I deleted my 'like' within an hour,  and my friend also deleted the picture after realizing that he was wrong.
In addition to say[ing], "对不起(I'm sorry)" to everyone, I would also like to encourage anyone who has been misunderstood to speak up, and present the truth when caught up in "mistaken identity" situations.
Lastly, I would like to apologize, again, for upsetting anyone. We are all from different cultures, but I truly believe that with more mutual understandings, love and peace will bring us together and make the world a better place.
(Thank you very much.)"
( And growing up in Kobe with my diverse cultural background has given me the opportunity to be exposed to different culture and befriend people from around the world. More importantly, I learned to appreciate mutual respect for different people.)
"皆さまには、[私のような] 「人違い」から生じる状況に巻き込まれた場合には、声を大にして訴え出て真実を指し示すように呼びかけたいと思います" ( I would also like to encourage anyone who has been misunderstood to speak up, and present the truth when caught up in "mistaken identity" situations. )
"Our family moved to Japan when I was two. And growing up in Kobe with my diverse cultural background has given me the opportunity to be exposed to different culture and befriend people from around the world."
"Our family moved to Japan when I was two [and I GREW up in Kobe.] My cultural background is diverse. I was exposed to different culture and befriend people in every part of the world."
"Our family moved to Japan when I was two. And growing up in Kobe with my diverse cultural background has given me the opportunity to be exposed to different culture and befriend people from around the world."
"Our family moved to Japan when I was two and grew up in Kobe.  With my diverse cultural background, [I was]  given [xME] the opportunity to be exposed to different culture and befriend people from around the world."
"Her family moved to Japan when I was 2 and growing up in Kobe. With my diverse cultural background, given me the opportunity to be exposed to different cultures and befriend people from around the world."
"With my diverse cultural background, [has] given me the opportunity to be..."
"with my diverse cultural background"は「多様な文化的背景があることで」という”前振りの文”に過ぎない,その後で「○○が」機会を与えたことに繋がらないと,即ち"条件文”(conditional phrase)が無いと,文として成立しない。
"And growing up in Kobe with my diverse cultural background has given me the opportunity to..."
"I see myself as a global citizen," (  私は自分自身を地球市民だと思っています)

plaksa-mirtl said: Shaving heads according to late Hideyoshi’s will sounds really odd. Denning’s anecdote “Katsushige and his fellow-bugyo having heard that their designs on leyasu’s life had been made public, and fearing the consequences, assumed the garb of priests and, kneeling before leyasu as he crossed Bungo-bashi, one day, craved his pardon. leyasu pardoned them” sounds at least logical.
I know it sounds odd, but that’s what I have to work with.
From a chronology in Ishida Mitsunari Den by Nakano Hitoshi:
秀吉 - Hideyoshi 遺命 - will, dying instructions により - according to, by, because of... 伏見 - Fushimi 剃髪 - tonsure, cutting off one’s hair - usually used for religious purpose, but also as a means to mourn or to accept some sort of a blame
So basically “Following Hideyoshi’s will, they cut off their hair in Fushimi.”
From the text itself:
(all together cut off their hair in Fushimi) (It’s considered that it was done following Hideyoshi’s will, but...) (...it might have come from an intention to clarify unity)
From Sekigahara Zen’ya Seigun Daimyo-tachi no tatakai by Mitsunari Junji:
[This was already pointed out by Iwasawa Yoshihiko, but...] 2月2日に五奉行が剃髪したのは、(that go-bugyō cut off their hair on February 2nd) この問題の責任を負ったのではなく、(it wasn’t to take responsibility for this problem) 秀吉の遺命によるものであったことは明らかである。(it’s clear it was because of/according to Hideyoshi’s will.)
That’s all the books have to say about it (there’s the situation before, mostly about Toshiie and Ieyasu). Nakano does mention that the riots ended on February 2nd oh and btw on this day, bugyo cut off their hair (Now I realised it says in Fushimi, so they had to personally go to Fushimi where Ieyasu was... during this conflict, the one Edo book says that they’re concentrated around Toshiie’s mansion in Osaka... which seems weird, now, considering that three bugyo were ordered by Hideyoshi to always be at Fushimi - Gen’i and Masaie were always supposed to be in Fushimi - according to Hideyoshi’s will.) The peace between Ieyasu and other tairo came at the end of the month - when Toshiie visited Ieyasu.
The books are new, the first one was published this year (and it’s Mitsunari friendly - it tries to introduce Mitsunari without any anecdotes appearing in books from later Edo. I got it yesterday and just updated the chronology, because there was a table in the book), the other one in 2009 (Terumoto actively participating at Sekigahara and before friendly). I assume that it used to be considered as taking the blame for being like hey Ieyasu, you’re breaking the law; no, no, here let me explain it to you; oh, ok, we’re sorry, see how sorry we are, we even cut off our hair. IEYASU WIN!
Since Denning’s version exists, I assume someone also made a connection to the rumours about Mitsunari wanting to kill Ieyasu during this time, like I mentioned few days ago, and made it about that. But since all of them did it, it would mean that it wasn’t just “Mitsunari wanted to kill Ieyasu” how it’s usually presented.
I have no idea what “according to Hideyoshi’s will” means. I have no idea what “will” it refers to. The “will” Ieyasu’s breaking are those regulations from 1595, aren’t they? And the 13 charges also mostly come from that, if I remember correctly. The three testaments that are left, don’t really talk about rules...
Is it supposed to mean that they broke the rules, hence they cut of their “ponytails”? Did they decide that now was the time to mourn Hideyoshi (I think his death was announced around this period to the public)? Did all of them want a matching haircut? I have no idea. (probably the first... they did it because of whatever, but not because of Ieyasu??? Not as a form of apology??? I guess???)
I should just change it into “shaved his head” the end.
(If anyone who speaks Japanese reads this post and sees that I made a mistake translating, I will appreciate your correction!)

言い習わし are a type of 諺 which are short phrases, usually using some kind of allegorical example from daily life, nature or agriculture to pass on some wisdom or philosophy.
English translation: The nail that sticks up will be hammered down
The most commonly-known 言い習わし outside of Japan is probably 出る杭は打たれる, which means that by standing out, you invite criticism.
English translation: Giving birth to a baby is easier than worrying about it
This is used as a reminder that often our fear is worse than the actual threat of danger.
English translation: Not knowing is Buddha
The best English meaning I can assign to this is “ignorance is bliss,” with bliss being Buddha in the Japanese version.
English translation: If you don’t enter the tiger’s cave, you can’t catch its cub
This has to be one of my favorites.
It expresses the same sentiment as “nothing ventured, nothing gained” in English, but literally translates as a perilous adventure with tigers and cubs—which I think paints a great picture of both the risk and the reward.
English translation: A frog in a well does not know the great sea
This a wonderful way to express the idea of a person who’s satisfied to judge everything by their own narrow experience, remaining ignorant of the wide world outside.
English translation: Eaten alone, even sea bream loses its flavor
This is another one of my favorites.
Even in modern Japanese, it’s believed that a significant part of the pleasure of eating is to sit around the table to share a meal with loved ones. This philosophy of hospitality, family time and shared meals takes on even more significance in our busy modern lives.
English translation: Eight-tenths full keeps the doctor away
This is just like our “an apple a day” saying, but I’d say the Japanese version is a little more helpful for long-term health. Beyond the simple mantra about eating in moderation, this 諺 expresses the cultural taboo of excess in Japan.
English translation: If you speak of tomorrow, the rats in the ceiling will laugh
This is one of the less concise idioms in Japanese, being a quite convoluted way to express a universal truth: The future is unpredictable. This is similar to the English saying, “we make our plans, and God laughs.”
English translation: Tomorrow’s winds will blow tomorrow
Now this is a truly beautiful proverb. It’s a hopeful phrase that means “tomorrow is a new day.”
English translation: After rain falls, the ground hardens
This is yet another beautiful phrase coming straight from nature, with the same idea as in the English, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”—but I personally like the Japanese version much better.
These 諺 are a little shorter than 言い習わし, but also often use images from nature and agriculture to express their meaning. If you want to learn some more 慣用句, check out ten more in this article from Japanese Words.
English translation: Dumplings over flowers
Everyone’s favorite dorama actually uses a 慣用句 to create the title: “花より男子” (or “Boys Over Flowers” in English). This is a play on the phrase presented above, 花より団子, which translates as “dumplings over flowers” and indicates that one should value substance over form, or that useful items have more value than purely decorative ones.
So in the timeless classic dorama “花より男子,” Domyouji falls in love with Makino precisely because she’s resourceful and practical rather than superficial.
English translation: The same as ever
English translation: Even monkeys fall out of trees
We all make mistakes! Comfort your Japanese friends after a blunder by saying this cute phrase.
English translation: I’ll do it before I eat breakfast
This has the same meaning as “a piece of cake” in English.
English translation: Not seeing is a flower
This another gorgeous one, meaning that reality can’t compete with imagination.
English translation: To command or dictate, or to descend from heaven
There’s a practice in Japan so common that it has its own idiomatic name, where bureaucrats are often able to find high-ranking jobs in private firms after retirement.
English translation: Like gold coins to a cat
This is like the English “casting pearls before swine,” but uses “like gold coins to a cat” to express the folly of wasting beauty or quality on somebody who doesn’t appreciate it.
English translation: Fall seven times, stand up eight
Motivate yourself through tough times with this idiom. It translates as “fall seven times, stand up eight,” and it’s a reminder that when life knocks you down, all you’ve got to do is stand back up. That eight time standing up is what counts in the end—not the seven falls.
English translation: A slip of the mouth
This is just like the English idiom “the cat’s out of the bag” or “spill the beans,” as it means to let out a secret.
四字熟語 are the shortest 諺, and really show how concise Japanese can be. They’re made up of four kanji characters and are basically untranslatable, as the characters don’t necessarily represent the meaning of the idiom.
You can learn more 四字熟語 and read about their origins in China in this Tofugu article.
English translation: Bad causes, bad results
This emphasizes the Buddhist philosophy of karmic retribution. The English equivalent is “what goes around comes around.”
English translation: One’s act/one’s profit
This is like the English “you reap what you sow.”
English translation: One opportunity, one encounter
This expresses how every encounter we have is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In modern Japan, it’s sometimes used a little differently, to say that “you only have one life”—a little more poetic than #YOLO!
Many 四字熟語 are derived from Chinese four-character idioms (known as chengyu), but this is an example of an indigenous Japanese idiom.
English translation: Ten people, ten colors
This is just like “to each his own.”
English translation: Wake from death and turn to life
I like this one because while it’s optimistic, and it’s used to encourage others to turn a bad situation into a success, it really highlights how terrible it can feel to be in a bad situation.
English translation: Flower, bird, wind, moon
This is a poetic phrase that doesn’t have any sort of direct translation, but instead concisely expresses the beauty of nature by listing the kanji for “flower, bird, wind, moon.”
English translation: One stone, two birds
This is exactly like the English “to kill two birds with one stone,” but it’s a little more concise. It simply reads “one stone, two birds.”
English translation: One day one step
This is the kanji for “one day one step,” and it encourages us to take one step a day toward our goals.
English translation: Review past, know future
This is to look back at the past and learn from it, and to take that knowledge into the future. It’s a little bit similar to our English, “history repeats itself,” as it implies that your knowledge of the past will help you know what can happen in future situations.
English translation: Two bodies, one heart
This expresses the harmony of mind between two people as “two bodies, one heart.” It’s a beautiful sentiment, don’t you think?

35 weeks

26 July 2018 ~ 01 Aug 2018 It’s 35th week.
25 July 2018 Kaori told me that her friend has couple of baby items and clothes to give away. I was so pleased, as we knew that the baby will grow quickly means waste clothes if we buy them, and our house will be full of baby items that may not be used, so my husband and I were discussed to rental or buy second hand clothes.
The baby clothes for new born to 6 months were all so tiny and sweet. It was packed with zip-lock bag and sorted by months.  I was so surprised to see the amount when I take all the clothes from the bags. I then realized that how much we will pay if we buy them all... so I was really appreciated the donation.
28 July 2018
We went to the “Baby on the move” to see baby seat which we need to get it by the baby is born.
We were not seeking to rental the capsule yet, just wanted to see what options were available though we found that lots of capsules were already booked when we were at the shop. I told my due date to the shop assistance. She recommended one of the simple capsule that is easy to set on and off.
She also demonstrate how to attach the capsule to the car seat, and take it off. It looked so easy and was very light, we decided to hire the capsule.
You can hire this from 2 weeks before the due date though as we also hear that many people will hire the seats around the holiday period, we decided to hire the capsule for 6 months. I just didn’t want to return after 3 months then struggle to rehire if we needed which will be around the holiday season. She then told me that will be $90.00 for 6 months hire. I thought it will be $90.00 per month, so I was really surprised to hear that is for a half year rental cost. Well, that’s super great value, and now understand why people recommend to rental the capsule instead of buy new one.
You will need to pay $90.00 when you pick up the capsule though we needed to pay $30.00 at the time of registering for the rental. This will be fully refundable if you return the capsule at the end of rental period.
Around 20:00, I felt some Braxton Hicks contraction for about 30 minutes. It was sore back and tummy, it’s pretty close to period pain. After the soreness was gone, I feel anxiety how pain it will be for the real contraction..... When I was thinking about this, I felt the fetus is moving. It was like “we will work out together, mum!”
29 July 2018
I finished reading a half amount of brochures which my midwife gave it to me at the last appointment.
1 for about Vitamin K. I thought it helps lower the risk for the new born baby. I think I will agree to getting Vitamin K shot.
2nd one was about Oblige study. It’s for over 37 weeks pregnant women, and is about induction of labour study. If you wish to participate the study, you will need to discuss with midwife though I was not happy the fact that you will not be able to choose if you wish to take outpatient balloon option or inpatient gel option, which were decided by the hospital.
3rd one was for induction of labour. The induction is recommended if your waters have broken prior to labour starting on it’s own, if you have diabetes in pregnancy, if you are overdue (more than 41 weeks), if the baby is not growing well or is small for dates, if you have high blood pressure in pregnancy, if you have serious bleeding in pregnancy, if there are concerns about the baby - such as low fluid around the baby, less fetal movements etc, or if your maternal age is 40 years and over. The maternal age is only I could think of for now, and others are not for me or is hard to determine until last minutes. Over all, I feel negative images for induction of labour.
Other 3 brochure were about how to cope with labour, C-section, and virtual tour. Virtual tour is for the hospital where you will giving birth at. The area is not easy access to the public so the hospital offers virtual tours so that we can learn prior to the day.
