Barbie Wire Head Cannon

Failed Singer Theory

Okay so I'm going to get started with this head cannon and say that for awhile I thought it was just the reality.

In episode 3, "Spring Broken", we get our first mention of Barb. Verosika

"They let me out because I’m still famous, and rehab is for sad, loser wash-ups. So, your sister says hi."

For some reason my brain automatically assumed from this Interaction that Barbie had a failed pop star/singer career and has become "wash-up". I legit thought it was cannon until I looked back at the episode to see the direct quote. Now I'm not saying this still couldn't be a possibility it just for now isn't cannon.

Why I'm a fan of this head canon

1. History of Performing

Because Barbie grew up her whole life in the circus, it makes sense that getting into a solo act career or staying in a performance career would be the natural progression.

2. Access to Drugs

I feel like it would make sense of her getting into the Drug scene as a singer. Pop/Rock stars and musicians in general notorious for their involvement in the drug scene. I could definitely see her using drugs as a coping mechanism along with creating music.

3. How Blitzø met Verosika

It makes sense that Blitzø would try to infiltrate himself into the music business in order to try to protect Barbie. Thus him getting into body guarding or management and that is how he could meet Verosika.

4. Pop Star Rehab with Verosika

It would make sense that Verosika and Barbie would know each other more if they both were in the music business. I don't think Verosika hates Barb. I think she just said those things about Barb because she knew it would get under his skin. I would imagine they would be mutuals and down the line I would enjoy to see friendship between the both of them.

5. Barbie Wire's general Vibe

Barbie gives a very strong punk/Alt scene vibe with her tattoos/scars and how she dresses. Hearing crossing out her circus brand very much gives off her rebelling from the system.

5. Helluva loves a song moment

We already know Vivzie loves a song moment. We all love a song moment.

Barb has a really nice rasby voice. In my mind she would be in the punk rock/Alt scene.

I feel like she gives such a strong RIOT GRRRL/ FEMME PUNK VIBES. I especially feel it with the Band Hop Along.

She really gives off the energy of these songs:
