If i may add some of my hcs for sick wxs:

♧ Rui is always force-fed veggies while he's in a weakened state and can't protest. He INSISTS that it makes him feel sicker and worsens his state (it doesn't) and why would anyone subject him to such torture

♧ he generally takes liquid medicine. Hates taking pills he has to swallow. If it doesn't dissolve in his mouth he will refuse to take it unless forced, and only with the help of something to drink

♧ his brain lags while he's sick. He is idealess, his usual creativity is GONE, his analytical skills when he watches musicals or reads books are nowhere to be found and he DESPISES it. Because he's not just bored out of his mind, he feels like finally he has time to work on things because he has to stay home and yet he's wasting it. He's restless. Has to repeatedly be reassured that it's fine to just rest without coming up with 15 new inventions and script ideas in the meantime

♧ finds it hard to sleep (even harder than usual) with a stuffed nose and headache and sore throat and fever and whatever else he has, with no thoughts to occupy his head. Often can't fully fall asleep unless he's thoroughly distracted from his illness by something, so he often watches movies or reads to sleep

♧ more easily irritated/nauseaus by strong smells or the feeling of sweat on him or unpleasant textures

♡ Emu is absolutely SPOILED by her family while sick. They would steal the moon for her and wrap it in ribbons and gift paper to present at her bed if she asked for it. Shosuke watches some movies he'd generally comment as "childish" or "stupid" and "predictable" with her with no jabs or comments. Keisuke and her father buy her whatever she wants at the moment. Hinata reads her bedtime stories. She probably gets served her favourite breakfast in bed

♡ contrary to Rui, she is absolutely filled with new and wonderhoy ideas. Has many more dreams, since she also tends to sleep a lot when sick, too, and she always calls or messages the other members to tell them all about it and how they can use it.

♡ her energy is sucked out of her. Becomes more sluggish and sloppy. Moving around too much makes her dizzy. She dislikes it a lot because she hates feeling chained to one place and not being able to jump around and be energetic

♡ like op said she constantly texts or calls people because she easily feels lonely and needs company, but that also includes her classmates to ask what they've been doing in class or send them pictures or some drawings she did while bored and talk about her ideas

♡ she's the quickest to recover from illness of the four

◇ once Tsukasa FINALLY resigns to his fate and admits he's sick, he does not allow anyone within the 10m radius of himself without a face mask. Generally avoids interaction and being close to people so that they won't catch what has (even though it's hard and a bit lonely) (avoids Saki especially like the PLAGUE)

◇ consequently, he subconsciously gets a bit touchy for a while once he's healthy again to make up for that. He is unaware of this fact but others just let him

◇ "I wonder if i can learn how to portray a weak or sick character better from this experience..." / "Is this how one would feel when under an effect of a curse, or when stabbed?" / "This kind of a scratchy voice would fit a character like this a lot, I should remember this and try to imitate it later..." / "Hmmm do you think when someone is in love they also feel this kind of chest pain like after coughing? ...No? ...What do you mean I shouldn't feel chest pain"

◇ still tries to practice (fails. Gets dizzy easily and can't focus. Has even bigger memory problems than usual and quickly forgets lines)

◇ very easily gets emotional when sick, both with positive and negative feelings. Huge mood swings. Can get frustrated by the smallest inconvenience, or cry because his mom baked cupcakes

♤ Nene is the most prone to illness and also the most prone to fall back into illness again soon after recovering if she's not careful

♤ gets more snarky and irritable, especially when very tired. Complains a lot. Not a big fan of being coddled or being told what to do. She admits she's not the greatest company when sick but appreciates it a lot when someone stays with her regardless

♤ a bit too dependent on medicine and sometimes accidentally overdoses and makes herself feel worse instead. Tsukasa is on her case about it. He also recommends her lozenges for her voice

♤ constantly forgets to hydrate. At this point Rui sets reminders for her on Robo-Nene to make her drink enough

♤ often rewatches comfort movies or replays comfort games, sometimes even several times

♤ there were several instances where she completely lost her voice because she tried to practice despite being sick. WxS was not impressed

♤ prone to nosebleeds

♤ it's hard for her to get back into physical form after being sick, she gets tired easier and quickly runs out of breath. Often has to take it easy to not relapse. She feels useless because of it but is constantly reassured it's natural and she can take her time

i'm suffering from the Plague of the Dark Forest (the common cold) so here: wxs and how they deal with being sick

rui does not get sick very often but when he does, it hits him like a TRUCK. not only that, but it takes him ages to even realize that he's feeling BAD in the first place. tsukasa, emu, or nene have to literally point out that he looks terrible for him to realize that oh, he feels like shit. as soon as he realizes that he is, well, SICK, he is chained to his bed/sofa/whatever he sleeps on for days and has to be spoonfed because he physically cannot lift his arms. wxs doesn't buy any of his "i'm feeling better than ever. tip top shape, in fact" bs, by the way.

emu

literally does not get sick. she is an immoveable force of nature, a brick wall. germs fear her. bacteria quake at the mention of her name. rhinovirus who? HOWEVER. on the rare occasions where she does get sick, i think she'd be the clingy type. HATES that she has to stay home and in her room alone and desperately needs some kind of company or external stimulation, whether it be talking with the virtual singers through her phone or texting wxs. she would assure them that she's fine, but really just wants to see her friends in person again :')

if tsukasa got sick, the world would end. his sneezes would shake the earth's core and change our geography completely. my online friends would end up being my neighbours.

firstly, he'd panic internally just a bit once he realizes that his nose feels a bit too stuffy and the tickle at the back of his throat is bothering him more than it should. he'd be completely confuzzled, after all, he spends a good chunk of his time just SANITIZING. he'd be all "ho ho ho what the fuck! there's no way! i, future star tenma tsukasa, caught the common cold?!?" he'd tear his room down, cleaning every single nook and cranny and dumping all his clothes into the laundry machine and downing pills and hoarding up on vitamin c so that he could possibly evade his fate (doesn't work). similarly to rui, he'd deny that he's feeling bad in order to keep working on shows but it eventually catches up to him and he has no choice but to rest.

nene

catches colds as the seasons change and the temperature shifts. she has like two assigned weeks a year for her sickness and deals with it normally: rotting in her bed and curling up into a shivering ball while trying to focus on a video game on her phone and failing miserably. her biggest worry each time is how her cold will affect her voice, deeming her unable to sing properly, but wxs is very understanding and reassure nene of her guilt. tsukasa ends up recommending different herbal remedies and teas that soothe the throat, and albeit nene is hesitant to try something tsukasa suggests, she begrudgingly admits later that they WORK.

Oh, you bet he's one of your biggest supporters. Despite his yandere tendencies, he isn't one to restrict his darling from expressing themselves creatively. However, one thing he worries deeply about is the impact that comes with fame. He's concerned that you won't be doing this for yourself anymore; that you'll be bending over backwards to please the masses. It depresses him to think how you'll be once you come to see your passion as nothing more than a chore. He doesn't want that for you, so he makes sure it doesn't happen. Some of your fans, who don't treat or see you as a real person, make him sick to his stomach, honestly. He'll gladly ensure they won't bother you anymore and learn how to be respectful. He will gladly weed out the bad seeds from the garden. Harshly, if he has to since some weeds can be stubborn.

Annoyed. That's all he feels. Grusha knows the deal when it comes to being well-known and famous. He was just like that before the accident. However, seeing your fans swarm around you while the two of you are out makes him remember that oh, yeah, that was certainly a thing. Don't people have some amount of decency? Can't they leave someone alone for a few minutes? He hates how it looks like they're treating you like some...object. He doesn't know how much he can take it. There are some genuine fans out there, but oh, he's not annoyed by them. It's the weirdos his concern and bitterness is centered towards. They make him absolutely sick. He doesn't voice any of this out, but you can sure feel his irritation at a certain distance. Just, you know...make sure he's okay since we wouldn't want an accident on the news, don't we?

Just like Grusha, he's also annoyed by these fans. Like yeah, there's Team Yell with Marnie but that's her hype team more than anything. These people, though, are so bothersome and he can't help but bring that up sometimes in conversation. If you're actually bothered by them, then great! He'll gladly tell them to bug off when necessary. Hell, you can even come to Spikemuth to hide for a while. Not many people come around anyways, so it's a good place for some alone time. Besides that, Piers is supportive of your career if it's something you're passionate about. Especially if you're a singer/songwriter. As someone who is one himself, he's alright with giving advice and offering a hand. Team Yell can act as bodyguards if you want. Their demeanor would drive excessive fans away and that's something he wants. A benefit to handing advice to you is that he had the opportunity to give small bouts of misinformation to scare you a little. It just helps to keep you leaning onto him for support. I mean, who else could relate? I know what you're thinking: this sounds rather okay. Because it's the way Piers wants it to be. Even as a yandere, he doesn't want unnecessary conflict or trouble. It's rather annoying. Oh, but make no mistake; he's willing to drag any creep into a dark alley to ensure they are never able to hold a paper and pen ever again.

Petrel is rather chill about this. Hell, he even disguises as various people who are 'fans' of yours. Example: you're at a convention with fans and it's going well. Everyone is so sweet and endearing. What you don't notice is that Petrel had approached you multiple times as different people just to see how you react with various individuals. He can never get tired of this. It's entertaining to see that adorable face of yours greet him as if you're meeting for the first time over and over. Little did you know... This man does buy some of your merch, he does but...he wants something personal. These items are more centered around your career, and that's fine and all, but he wants stuff that are closer to you as a person. Rummaging through your stuff was easy. You really need more competent bodyguards, darling. That's fine, he'll just play the part as one of them for you. He wants to chuckle at the way you don't notice anything off with him. An expert in his craft after all. Plus, why would you question anyone who's your bodyguard?

I wasn't going to write this until later but I absolutely had to jump ahead of schedule and write this because it nagged at my mind almost all week. You even started an AU for the other mods and I, anon. This little idea is so tasty and adfghfgferhrj

At first, it almost stings. He still remembers Ivy, after all; her wandering around following Viktor or whoever caught her eye whenever she could. It was cute. Adorable, even.

But Mordecai seems to be the target of this little beast's attention. And no amount of waving her off, gently pushing her away with his foot or annoyed threats will get her to pick someone else.

The Savoys are enamored with the little bugger. Serafine started calling her "Bébé Couteau" (Baby Knife) after being allowed to teach her some knife tricks (why Asa let them put a knife in the hands of a kitten, Mordecai will never know) and Nico picked up the habit of startling the little girl by picking her up and spinning with her...Which slowly evolved into throwing her across the bloody bar into Serafine's arms after an accident that resulted in the kitten getting yeeted by a distracted Nico (apparently she loved it (and to Serafine's credit, she ran like Hell to catch her); so it's not exactly safe but it's okay??)

Several speakeasy attendees mistake her to be Mordecai's kitten since she's always hanging around him (and especially so if she's a Tuxedo cat). It probably doesn't help that he loudly objects to the twins throwing the kitten back and forth like a football and has even ripped her out of their arms once or twice

They also (correctly) assume that he calls the shots when it comes to her. If she's making trouble or is heading somewhere that she shouldn't be, someone has to work up the courage to tell that ferocious shadow of Asa's. It's him, the queen cat that looks like she's constantly considering stabbing you or the heartthrob at the bar vicious son of a bitch who always looks like he knows that he's better than you

It's an unspoken rule between the three that Mordecai's word is law when it comes to the kitten. He hates this and is sure that they just use this as another excuse to tease him.

Asa scares the Hell out of the poor little thing. He tried greeting her once and she burst into tears and ran to Mordecai so he could protect her. The twins thought this was hysterical: the kitten adores the ground Mordecai walks on, laughs at Serafine's threats and thinks Nico throwing her at a soft target as hard as he can is the bee's knees; but Asa Sweet-the big fat cat with the softest features out of all of them-scares the living daylights out of her.

Mordecai thinks the kitten has a good judge of character sometimes. If it wasn't for her love of the chaotic duo he'd say that out loud

They brought the kitten along to a "meeting" once when she were sick with a fever. She cried when Mordecai left the car and Serafine refused to leave until she was comforted or at least sleeping, so (after some arguing and sweet-talking) Mordecai went back for her. When he didn't leave the vehicle for a few minutes, the Savoys went on without him.

They came back to find him reading a book, the kitten snuggled up against his side and sound asleep tucked under his coat and arm. The soft look in Morde's eye told Nico that maybe this wasn't the time to be teasing him.

This didn't stop Serafine. Mordecai hasn't heard the end of that event. (Asa also gave him some Hell for leaving the twins to do the dirty work, but Serafine and Nico shut him down pretty quickly-they found whatever crate he wanted, no witnesses are around to tell the tale, the job was done just fine and the kitten needed him more than they did. Shut up, Mr. Sweet.)

Whoever's daughter the kitten is, they'd better learn to deal with Mordecai becoming her guardian angel of death. If she doesn't have a parent and just wandered in somehow, she's gonna end up with something better: an aunt that'll teach her to kill and how to stay strong, an uncle that'll toss her around like a hot potato and teach her to be fearless and another uncle that'll pretend to not care for her until someone looks at her the wrong way.

Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. Probably the worst-fitting cats to be any kind of parental figures, yet ones that will guard a mutually-adopted kitten until their final breaths-whether they'll admit to it or not.

reader is annoyed with simon for x reasons (it's up to you), she starts to hit him on the chest, to insult him, the sobs mix with her anger and it becomes difficult to understand clearly what she reproaches to simon. this one, takes everything, says nothing, and makes everything to appear indifferent and impassive to his crisis of nerves, but in the bottom he is afraid and feels terribly guilty to have put his beloved in this state. accentuate on the difference of size and strength between the two, the blows inflicted to Simon are only vulgar small fags on the arm or the chest. how is he going to make it up to them ? is he going to try to calm reader down, or let them continue until they are exhausted?

if reader's native language is not basic english, then I absolutely must see simon being in awe every time reader speaks their language. the admiration and love is in his eyes, whether he wears the balaclava or not, whether his eyes are painted black or not, everyone can see that he only has unconditional love which multiplies by ten (when it is already infinite) when he hears your beautiful voice saying words he doesn't understand.

bonus point if simon makes every effort to learn your language and communicate with you. if you listen carefully you will see simon whispering some words after you, while you are engaged in a conversation with someone.

Thinking about lightheaded Cyno and the first time he realized Tighnari could pick him up. Like maybe it’s just happenstance that the two aligned where he was sick and unsteady but wasn’t about to ask *to be carried* like, he just wouldn’t. And Tighnari doesn’t *look* like he’d be hella strong even tho he is. So he’s just stunned when Tighnari scoops him up the first time. Like I’m convinced the day Tighnari picked up Cyno, one arm around his back the other under his butt… I think it probably permanently altered Cynos brain chemistry

First of all I'm a sucker for characters who just look like they don't have a lot of physical strength, when they're actually really strong. It's always been my headcanon that this is the case with Tighnari. I mean even in canon, he just doesn't look like a physically strong character, but we all know he actually is. So I absolutely adore the idea of Tighnari just effortlessly scooping Cyno up!!

Cyno's obviously not used to getting picked up, so I can see him just kind of scramble the first time?? Like he just instinctually panics for a split second because he's not standing on his own two feet and he doesn't feel secure, so he's immediately wrapping his arms around Tighnari's neck for support and... The reality sinks in, he's okay, he's secure, he's not going to fall. And the next moment he just melts, because he's cradled in Tighnari's arms with his head on his chest and it feels so nice and safe and Tighnari has him.

He's already not feeling well and now he just suddenly feels overwhelmingly loved, and it's a lot of emotions, and I'm just imagining him starting to tear up as he presses close to Tighnari and relishes in being held.

Gah I am absolutely in love with this scenario!! I gotta put this in my writing somewhere!! I'm going to be thinking about this all day ahhhhh

Jefferson's handling/POV: okay uh. You know those lil bits in the musical where he "interacts" with the audience/people off stage. Aka blowing a kiss to the audience in What'd I Miss and handing someone off stage a copy of the Reynolds Pamphlet. Canonized. Ish. These could easily be translated into in universe terms by his script wiring, but sometimes he just. Sees the audience. Ultimately he doesn't give a damn. He's having too much fun to worry about it.

Burr has tried to like, get information out of him about this, but hey since he doesn't know what in the world Burr is tweakinh out about he just goes like, "mann I think you just need sleep. Or water. Or water and sleep. Or you're insane. Good luck" and skips on his way ODHRJJEOR

Madison's handling/POV: Madison time yayy. Sickly. Sickly guy. He's also caught lil glimpses of the audience or stage elements seeping into his scripted vision, but also ultimately doesn't think much further about them. Since he's. Quite aware that hes Sickly he kinda just goes "damn guess we got Mental illnesses now. Fml" and moves along

Burr's also tried to talk to Madison about it, but he insists that he himself is just really tired or Sick.

Unless it's the very off chance of jeff and mads' "error" syncing up, they never really like, acknowledged this that much. Maybe the occasional "hey what's that" "what's what" "nvm I'm just sleepy" but that's pretty much it. The part already broken doesn't develop with each run rkjeorkerk they just kinda get The Visions occasionally and shrug

He still!!! Feels angry!!! Because he's scripted to!!! But he doesn't want to be angry anymore!! But he is!!!! Internal conflict!!!! It confused him because his brain is telling him to be mad because Hamilton upset him. But he. He doesn't want to be upset in that moment. Oh well. Fuck

There MIGHTTT be more crumbs for other characters but. It's the middle of the night and this is all I can rack from my brain. Ask about the state of some character and if you're lucky you Might get crumbs

However, as he grows, Steve realizes that the young man in the water may not be quite as imaginary nor as innocuous as he once believed.

Reasons why I love it: I love, love, LOVE the world building in this! It always amazes me when people can write in a style that perfectly emulates the time period the story is set in, and jellybeanforest does an excellent job of it here. The setting is so good, and I absolutely love the dark fairy tale elements. I adore this fic, so if you haven't read it yet, I hope you give it a go!

It's so, SO well thought out, giving the perfect reason to have completely unavoidable non-con in a fic, with neither of the parties involved being at fault. And the turmoil when what happened is revealed is all the more delicious for it. I love this fic so fucking much, and if you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend that you do, because it's brilliant!

5. Are there any scenes in your story that you enjoy re-reading?  

Definitely! I really enjoy scenes in bar with Gera & Hanna. They do have a special chemistry. And of course i adore scenes with comfort talking between Hanna & Antje. It was so reassuring to write them. I think i can add some piece of my writings here (i'm sorry if there might be some grammar errors, the text was translated from russian by me)

...Antje put aside her mug and slightly hug Hanna by her shoulders. – You are welcome to stay. I live alone, anyway. – Antje suggested. Hanna cuddled silently by Antje's chest. – But…there's a problem. – Said Antje suddenly. – Which one? – Hanna strained. – I have only one bed. Hanna moved over. – Oh, I- i can sleep on the floor or there on a couch. Antje laughed. – I'm joking! My bed is double-sided, you can stay wherever you want. – We can sleep in one bed? – Hanna asked unsurely. – Well, after what we were going to do yesterday i think so. – Antje smiled. Hanna blushed like a tomato and giggled. – And we were both sober. Are we serious for that? – Nielsen joked. – You know, the more i spend time with you the less i'm sure! – Antje laughed aloud. – How dare you?! – Hanna rushed resentfully on Antje and fell above her. They met their eyes. Nielsen was absolutely enchanted with Antje's crystal clear blue eyes. It seemed that time had stopped so they can enjoy each other in an absolute silence.

10. If you could choose to be one of your characters for a day, which one would it be? 

The best option i can choose is Hanna :D but she is actually me so...i guess i just like the way i am and don't want to be someone else.

12. What is your favorite thing about the simblr story writing process?

Fake scenarios! Alternative Universes! Everything i can imagine with my plot heroes because they have so much to do outside their "canonical lore". Recently, i was inspired by a simple thing and created a small scenario where Hanna and Antje in some kind of fight club? They did ballet at the daytime and by night time they go boxing. I want to do some illustrations for it so bad! And have no time for it. Sucks.

13. What characters do you feel most connected to? Why do you feel connected to that character?

I think every character in Deep End either way is connected to me because i put part of my soul into every of them. But i can't deny that the most relatable for me are Hanna and Antje. Because they're resemble me sometimes in some actions. They're like ying yang - Antje is an adult woman who want to stay child for a while and Hanna is a young girl who grew up too quickly. They both trying to be serious but as deeper we came to end of a story the faster their masks fade.

I'm so behind with my comments, but I don't want you to get bored of me writing basically a novel every time I send an ask to you and flood your inbox. 🙈

So I will try to be "short" (and fit everything into 1 or 2 asks) but no promises 😅

I'm so excited to read about Jonah's (and Leo's) trip with Angie. Angie is a sweetheart. She loves Jonah so much, it comes through your writing so vividly. I enjoy getting to know Matteo and Jackie as well. The whole debate about Jonah going on this trip at all, the brief wedding planning, the worrying, and caretaking in this whole storyline are just amazing. I love that Jackie is acting like a mother hen not only with Jonah but with Leo as well. She knows what she wants, and even Jonah doesn't dare truly arguing with her - it's so nice to see her telling Jonah he is her child in her house and not a doctor, and that she would be taking care of him. And Jonah acting like he doesn't enjoy the attention is just perfect. Plus the whole Leo got sick then John got sick and even while John got sick, he was jealous of Luke taking care of Leo. Pure comedy. I can't wait to read about the rest of the trip.

As for Bell and Luke, I know you already wrote a fic with Bella not believing him when he is sick, but this new one was just so good to read. Poor Luke having that migraine. I'm glad Bell apologised. I just love their dynamic so much.

Plus Luke finally using his full name while working? He has so many opportunities now. What are you planning?👀

Also, I live for Luke being jealous of whatever Vince and Max have going on.

Can't wait to have Wendy join the club (but like, just a little. Max needs everyone in his corner).

It was so nice of Vince to take him out, and even have back up plan for a back up plan. Max deserves it soo much.

I'm having a lot of fun writing the extended relations of each characters! I'm going slowly so Jonah, so far, is the one with the most people in his corner, but I do plan to add some secondary characters for the others as well! I think it makes them so much richer and gives me many scenarios to explore! Writing Angie and Jackie has been a blast, since each one of them brings out a completely different side of Jon. I'm planning to have a story in the future with Jasper, we'll see how that goes!

Not very realistic, Wendy is not a jealous girl, if anything realizing Max is crushing on Vince would make her sooo smug, not jelly, but this is a fun scenario.

February DWC Day 1 - Love is in the Air

Read the prologue (written by Fio)! Read part 1 (written by Fio)! Xylaes’s expression twisted into one of confusion at the comm message sent by Fio’s head of house. His first reaction upon reading the first sentence was that he absolutely forgot to send her anything for the holiday. Shit. He wasn’t great with remembering holidays, which also extended to birthdays. Out of sight, out of mind, and there were definitely no decorations littering their camp to remind him. He was in mercenary mode, and beyond that not much else existed.

It was only when he finished reading the message that he realized that wasn’t the case. …Maybe. Still could have been, partially. Seemed a bit extreme though.

“Mr. Qin’oril, this is Keranna Zerine, Fiorenze’s head of house. You have seen her the most out of anyone lately — has she been acting off or odd? Please think about it and get back to me. You can add my number if you wish.”

She hadn’t been gone that long, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary when she left - well, aside from her obviously missing some of the luxuries she didn’t have out here with her. But that was expected. He wandered to the outskirts of the camp for some privacy, lighting up a cigarette as he continued the conversation.

"What do you mean by acting off or odd? I haven't seen her since she left the camp and she seemed fine then."

"Out of her usual character. But that is helpful, thank you. She mentioned to me earlier this week that she was planning on returning to camp this weekend, that no longer seems to be the case."

"She sick? What has she been doing?"

"Yesterday, yes. One of the worst migraines I've seen her have in a very long time. I do not think the person currently in this Estate is her, though. She called me servant this morning and didn't seem to have any cognizant connection to plans she'd discussed with me earlier in the week."

"Have you called for a doctor yet?"

"Not yet; Pyraelia's on her way to confer, but that is one of my next steps."

"Might be a good idea to go ahead and do that."

"Not unwise; I will keep you in the loop if anything else comes up."

He set his comm aside momentarily as he ashed his cigarette off to one side. His immediate thought was ‘brain trauma’; whether due to the intense migraine or something else. He had seen this before in the field; soldiers receiving some kind of head injury that seemed to almost completely rewire their brains. Not that this was the case, clearly Keranna thought differently but he wasn’t going to rule out any possibility. 

Once more he picked up his comm before sending off a quick message to Fio herself:

"Hey, Happy Love is in the Air. You get the flowers I sent?"

He sat back and waited, foot tapping in anticipation as his mind ran through all of the various scenarios - none of them great. It wasn’t until he finished off his cigarette that he received a response.

"Yes, my beloved, I adored them and the surprise necklace you sent with them. You know me so well!"

HMMM. Something was definitely wrong. Not that he didn’t believe Keranna, but he had always been the type that needed to ‘see’ for himself before jumping to any sort of conclusion. He headed back towards the camp, comm in hand and sent off a final message to Keranna:

“I’ll be there later today.”

i'll put my answers below the cut! i wanted to give thorough answers to your questions but as a result, i ended up writing a lot for the first one. that's honestly very typical of me - i am a wordy person! so sorry about that and hope you enjoy <3

13. which driver do you like the most: pierre gasly or esteban ocon?

i have to go with esteban because i adore that stringbean <3. i think i've said this before but i have to thank you for introducing me to the glory of esteban. not only did i learn to love a ratboy whose equal parts the ultimate dork and an absolute menace who angers entire countries for simply existing, i gained so many lovely online friends because of it.

when it comes to pierre, i honestly like him a lot and i think he's a very talented driver. i love that pierre tends to wear his heart on his sleeve and is very open with his emotions. i love that pierre appears to be someone who loves fiercely - he seems like a wonderful and loyal friend. not to mention he's a fellow aquarius! i have a number of absolutely lovely and kind mutuals that are pierre fans and seeing their pierre posts make me smile.

unfortunately, some of the cruelest people i've encountered on f1blr (who i won't name and have blocked) were certain pierre blogs. to be clear, these were blogs who viciously insulted alex's mom because they felt alex was insulting pierre when he was actually just defending himself - that is toxic behavior that i'm not okay with. it wasn't about them making fun of drivers i like - i make fun of the drivers i like! as a result of those people, sometimes i find myself annoyed with pierre. except it's really not pierre that i'm annoyed with but the fans of his who use what he says to belittle esteban's abilites and character time and time again.

for example, i was a little irritated with some of pierre's comments where he implies that he got a poor result because the team favored esteban (e.g. japan, abu dhabi) while never acknowledging when the opposite happens (e.g. australia, netherlands) or the unusual circumstances that led to the decision that appeared to benefit esteban (e.g. las vegas). in all honesty, this is something that every driver does due to post-race frustration and it's never actually a big deal and it blows over after a few days. the problem is that pierre's comments (like fernando's or checo's or max's) are used to fuel the bullshit narratives of 'esteban is a shitty teammate' and 'no one on the grid likes esteban' that i am so sick and tired of.

24. underrated ship you like?

i can't believe bono/lewis is as underrated as it is! i love the endless support and affection that those two have for each other. i love that they've experienced the ultimate highs together and now they're currently fighting the lowest lows together. i love that lewis, who has spoken openly about feeling alone in the sport, has someone that he knows will always have his back.

66. if you had to add a track in a country of your choice, which country would it be?

as long as it's safe for the drivers to compete, the construction of the track is ethical, and it's not a burden on the nation, i would love to have a race in egypt! i think that f1 should definitely have more races in africa and the history of egypt is so interesting. in an ideal scenario, i think a night race near the pyramids would be stunning!

After particularly stressful days, she would imagine herself collapsing onto a couch after work only to be surprised by your appearance to tend to her needs. Even better, you would willingly stay by her side to listen to her complaints. Yet, the picture that she painted for herself had always felt incomplete. 

If you were not at her side, she could not smell your scent, feel the warmth emanating from your skin. Had she not invited you to her home and kept you there, she would not have been the sole witness to the adoration glistening in your eyes, to see the way your skin would crinkle and morph into such a beautiful smile. If she had not been adamant in fulfilling her desires, she would have been left bereft of the presence of such a fascinating creature: you.

“Are you feeling well today?” She patted your cheek, all pretenses of her stubborn nature turning to dust in the wind  when she saw you try to hide a yawn into the skin of her thigh. Normally, if it were anyone else, she would have been somewhat self-conscious about her body shape, but with you, she could only think about how comfortable she was around you. “It’s not like you to be so cuddly. Are you feeling sick?”

You shook your head and Czechia just wanted to pinch your cheeks and hug you close. She wanted to squeeze you so hard that you had no choice but to gasp her name in pain and want. She wanted to have you underneath her looking up into her eyes so that she could see you look so helpless. Then again, would it be better if she was underneath you, so that she could see how much you wanted to devote yourself to her? 

That you were willing to be with her even though this was wrong?

That her love was—obsessive, cruel, perverted—wrong?

But in this moment—

“Can’t I cuddle you just because?” You pressed a kiss into the sensitive skin of her thigh and your insides warmed in response to her scandalized gasp. “I don’t have to be sick to cuddle you. I want to be here with you.”

In this moment, everything was perfect. 

“Well, it’s a good thing that I want to be here with you, too.”

1. Ah, that's really cool that Phil likes Portrait so much. I love the rock sound to it. Every time I hear the opening chords, I always want to mix it with cmwyl because for some reason, I want to sing "i've never been a fan of the internet".

And I just watched the music video for Portrait today. It's so sick! Ted did an amazing job.

2. I listened to Katawaredoki, and it's so beautiful!

What are your other favorite movie/tv show soundtracks and/or composers? John Powell and his work on httyd will always be in my top. Sometimes soundtracks are just better than other music.

3. I finished songs of change! It's so good! I love the scene where Wilbur realized that his yearning for Phil and Techno's presence/company was not the instincts but purely himself. Ugh, this is why found family is my favorite. I honestly think it started with clinic.

And at the end when Wilbur and Schlatt still see each other on the seas! *chef's kiss*

That's really cool about the background OCs. I bet if you ever wrote a story/novel with original characters, it would be amazing because your characterization is so good! Though, I also understand the benefits of having characters already pre-made for you to just throw into different angst and fluff scenarios.

oh yes finally I get to ramble about my favorite soundtracks. my top three movie composers (in no particular order) are

Trent Reznor and Atticuss Ross (they always work together on soundtracks so I'm counting them as one). My favorite soundtrack of theirs is the Gone Girl soundtrack but my second favorite is The Social Network soundtrack. Both have such distinct tones to them I love them so much

Ramin Djawadi who is obviously a very well-known composer since he did Game of Thrones. I haven't watched GoT but I have watched House of the Dragon and adored his soundtrack for it, but my favorite of his is actually the Westworld s1 soundtrack. It's so eerie and soft with dashes of fun jaunty western tunes at the same time it's such a unique sound.

and lastly, Nicholas Britell who is the genius behind the Succession soundtrack for all 4 seasons. The soundtrack for that show is so distinct with its blend of hip hop foundational elements (like an 808 beat) with heavy orchestra strings, and it's absolutely stunning. The title theme is amazing, but there are so many tracks I'd just listen to on loop if it didn't ruin my spotify wrapped

and ty I'm so glad you enjoyed songs of change!! yes I loved including that moment of it was never really the instincts it was just wilbur. I feel like it was a fun subversion on the way instincts work in a lot of fics in this fandom (no hate to other instinct-driven fics, I just wanted to do my own twist on it)

“”jesus, honey, are you okay?” he asks, worry making his voice thick.” HASBEVRRRT. I’m going bananas Marí I really am. HONEY??? HONEY!!?!?!?! Oh my god I’m losing my mind because YES Sam would call you honey and I’m SICK OF NOBODY SAYING IT!!! I’m in love with the way you write this man bc he deserved so much more love in the show and seeing it given to him through your pen is just exactly what I need to heal from supernatural rewatch (it’s devastating.)

“who did this to you?” I don’t even think I have to say anything about this to get my point across. So good. It was so perfect, everything down to the LAST MINUTE DETAIL AGHR. So good. So simple, so classic, so perfect. You can never go wrong with it and somehow you built a scenario around it so complicated that made it feel so much heavier and like it had so much more weight.

““it’s okay,” you say, voice hushed and assured. “this… it’s enough, sam. it’s all i need.” just these few words tell him that you don’t care that he wasn’t there when it happened, that his care and comfort in this moment are enough to make it better.” I KNOW THATS RIGHT. HES ALL I NEED! I will forever praise how you write the simplest of love languages and twist them into beautiful heart-strumming stories and this one is no exception. The love you can FEEL from these words is absolutely insane. The reader doesn’t care that he wasn’t there, only that he’s comforting them NOW and something about that is so inherently correct in what a healthy, communicative relationship should be like and be represented like.

AND OF COURSE. MY FAV PART OF MARÍ WRITINGS. The final paragraphs: “then he holds you under the covers, pressing gentle kisses to your forehead and whispering sweet things, until there’s nothing but soft darkness and his touch left, and you’re asleep.” I love this so much. Simple, open ended, but still so breathtaking and makes you feel so good. I think that’s my absolute favourite part of your writing style in general; your endings are always open ended and left to complete interpretation, but they give that perfect sense of finality that doesn’t leave me wanting and begging for more (although I will still want and beg for more.)

- ohh boy, now let me just say this man has a breeding kink so you've definitely have had some pregnancy scares before. it was kind of common 😳.

- now when you started feeling sick one day, you instantly were concerned. Reiner noticed the change in your behavior as well. You seemed more tired, you barely slept, and worst of all you threw up a ton. it was a lot more than usual as well.

- Reiner didn't know what was wrong, he was scared to lose you.

- that's when it dawned on him that you two had sex weeks prior, without a condom. he was freaked out because he wasn't sure if you had forgotten. he decided to go to you about it and he explained that you should take a pregnancy test.

- you thought the idea of you being pregnant was ridiculous, but you gave in and took the test.

- when it came back positive, your whole world just stopped. you were pregnant with Reiner's baby.

- when you told him he was absolutely ecstatic. Reiner was excited to start this new chapter with you and assured you that everything was going to be okay, and he'd be by your side through everything. he was very helpful in getting what you needed.

- Karina was excited to be a grandma, she would often invite you over to ask how you were feeling. she was a huge help for you and Reiner during the whole process, she practically acted like you were her daughter.

- Reiner would so make a nursery by himself 🥺, he'd do it all within like two days and you'd be so impressed by it all. he wants everything to be ready before your little one comes home.

- when your water broke, Reiner was absolutely a total mess. Bertholdt and Annie had to calm him down, he was so scared.

- it was hard for Reiner to watch you cry in pain, he was a total mess at the doctor's office he had to walk out of the delivery room. eventually, he came back and watching you give birth was one of the most beautiful things he got to watch.

- Porco is always one to notice odd behavior or changes in your usual routine. he's very observant and blunt, so expect him to question you a ton whenever something seems out of the ordinary for you.

- when you started feeling sick, Porco found it odd. he hadn't seen you this sick in a really long time and it kind of concerned him being honest, he was scared that you were seriously ill. he would hold your hair back everytime you threw up your food. it really worried him.

- Porco overthinks A TON, he thought you were dying or something.

- that's when Porco decided to take you to the doctor. the last straw hit when you practically almost passed out when you were working out, he basically forced your ass into going to the doctor.

- you explained your symptoms to the doctor and after a few tests, you found out you were pregnant.

- hearing those words made Porco genuinely shocked, but he was so excited and happy. he told you he'd support whatever you wanted to do and after some talking, you both decided to keep it. he assured you he wasn't going anywhere and he was going to take care of you and your baby.

- Porco definitely goes overboard with it all 😭, mans would barely let anyone even breath next to you. he is so defensive over you and the baby, he's just protective like that. he sleeps with one eye open practically.

- dealing with the symptoms were a lot to handle at first. Porco wasn't sure what would trigger you to vomit or what would piss you off. you told him not to worry about anything and that you'd be okay, of course he's a stubborn little shit and just pouts but you find it to be adorable. he laughs when you have to pee 500 times a night.

- he loves the bump, he always pokes it for some reason and laughs.

- Porco wants a girl so bad. he literally tells you how much he wants a daughter and that's what he ended up getting. he found out you were having a girl and he was absolutely ecstatic, he was so ready to meet her.

- Marcel would probably come around if Porco was out working or he wasn't able to be at home. sometimes he'd send Pieck to check up on you if you weren't responding to him quick enough. this baby is so concerned over every little thing 😭.

- Porco would carry you around everywhere if your feet were sore. he knows how sore your body is so he'll carry you around the house.

- his family was very excited for the two of you, his mom was so happy to finally have a baby coming in the family. she gave you tons of advice and she gifted you with a ton of items for the baby.

- Porco asked Marcel to help him with the nursery, he didn't have any clue where to start and your due date was approaching faster than he could even blink. it took awhile, but they ended up making a really cute and pretty nursery. Porco felt like a proud dad in that moment.

- when your water broke, hell on Earth happened.

- Porco wasn't even there when it happened, you were with Pieck and it broke. when he got the call he went absolute ape shit and ran out the door, he literally zoomed to the damn hospital.

- he became so worried about you 🥺, seeing how uncomfortable you were and how much pain you were in made him so scared. he stayed by your side as long as he could so he could somewhat make it a little less painful.

- it was really late when you finally gave birth and Porco was awake for all of it. he couldn't fall asleep without seeing you give birth. it was so beautiful to him.

- UGH HE WAS SO EMOTIONAL. you hadn't ever seen Porco cry until then and it made your heart so happy.

- he'd literally fall asleep with her in his arms <3.

Colt Grice:

- okay this soft baby is always one to know when something feels off with you. he always has that gut feelings you know? it always bothers him until he asks you what's going on.

- you started feeling really sick and Colt being the giant baby he is, he got really scared and worried about you. he watched as you would run off to the toilet and vomit whatever you ate, he thought you had food poisoning. he noticed how exhausted you were, mans was so scared for your safety.

- like Porco, Colt is an over thinker. he legit thought you had some disease.

- one night he decided to just scoop you up and take you to the doctor. he couldn't handle watching you randomly vomit or almost pass out, he was scared one day you'd get even sicker, so he took you in.

- the doctors were concerned after hearing your symptoms, so they ran some tests. the tests revealed you were pregnant.

- Colt was shocked as shit, but he was so fucking excited and happy. he literally almost fainted from hearing the news, he wanted to have a baby with you for a pretty long time. he was open to your options though, but in the end you both agreed to keeping it.

- Colt is very reassuring, especially in this scenario. he reminds you that he will be here every step of the way and he isn't going anywhere. this is a process you'll be taking together, not just you.

- this baby will do anything he needs to do to keep you both safe. he holds your hand a little tighter when you're out and about, or he'll keep his hand on your small bump. he became protective overnight.

- he actually manages your symptoms pretty well, he'll make sure he has water ready for you after you throw up or he'll make you something to eat that'll ease your stomach. he keeps up with the weird cravings or the mood swings. Colt does a lot to make sure you're okay and comfortable.

- he is obsessed with the bump, he loves pressing kisses against it 🥺❤.

- Colt wants a boy so bad, he wants to teach the little boy everything. HE JUST LOVES THE IDEA OF A SON. after heading to your ultra sound, you told him he was getting a son and he lost it. he was so excited.

- he would probably have Falco come over and watch you 😭, yes a 12 year old. Falco keeps you entertained and he asks you about the baby a lot plus he knows what to do in case of an emergency.

- Colt would be very comforting, he understands completely how some days you can feel irritable so he tries his best to make you feel better. he'll run relaxing baths for you, kiss wherever you feel sore, etc. mans is really built to take care of you while you're pregnant.

- his family was absolutely ecstatic when they found out. Colt actually had some background knowledge about babies, his mom was pregnant with Falco after all. he kind of picked up on a few things as a kid, so expect him to know what he's doing. his mom was very supportive and helpful too.

- Colt is a damn handy man, he knows how to build a nursery. he basically told you to not worry about a damn thing and to go relax. when you came back the nursery was so pretty and adorable, you fell in love with it.

- when your water broke this man freaked the fuck out, he was in panic mode.

- Colt was freaking out at the hospital, he literally couldn't keep calm. he paced around the waiting room, Falco had to literally force this man to sit down and relax.

- seeing how much pain you were in broke his damn heart, he tried his best to calm you down and male you feel at least somewhat comfortable. he assured you this would be over soon and it'll all be worth it to see your baby.

- when you finally gave birth, he was astonished. he thought birth was such a beautiful thing and watching it made him so happy.

- he was such a sucker for this little boy, when he held him for the first time he was so overcome with emotion. he fell in love on the spot and literally kept him all to himself 😭.

- Zeke manages with your symptoms pretty well, he hates watching you throw up. he knows how uncomfortable it can be for you and he always holds your hair back, or he'll have something prepared for you to ease your stomach. he hates the mood swings the most 😭, he also hates when you get up 500 times to piss. he makes fun of you all the time.

- don't even get me started on the bump, he loves it. sometimes he'll poke it randomly and start laughing.

- Zeke wants a girl so bad. he literally loves the idea of having a daughter, but he didn't get it. you told him after your recent ultrasound you were having a boy. he was a little disappointed, but he was still happy. he gets to teach the little man how to play baseball <3.

- Pieck comes over when Zeke isn't around to check in. he is always really worried about you, so whenever he gets that gut feeling he'll send Pieck right over to make sure you're fine and that she can tell Zeke everything is cool.

- like i said earlier, he's very comforting. he knows how to take care of you especially on your bad days.

- his family is really happy for you both, his mom helped you a ton with the whole process. Zeke is a bit older so he kind of knew a bit about babies since Eren is his step-brother. he picked up on some shit when Carla was pregnant, even then his family gave you tons of advice.

- Zeke had no clue how to make a nursery, he had to call up his god damn dad for help 😭. Grisha was absolutely in for it, and he did exactly that. the two spent hours building the nursery and it came out really well.
