it was just another night like every other one, chifuyu was laying in his bed, re-reading his favorite manga yet again while his cat, peke j, napped on his stomach.

december 18th, just another day. nothing special. chifuyu totally wasn't looking down at his phone every minute to check the time.

he totally wasn't waiting for the clock to strike 00:00 and for his phone to start flooding with birthday wishes from his closest friends.

he might get a few birthday wishes, but he was only anticipating one thing and one thing only.

what could that be? well, his girlfriends arrival!

since you and chifuyu were neighbors, ever since you started dating, you made it a tradition to visit each other's houses at exactly 00:00 and give each other early birthday presents so the two of you wouldn't be overshadowed by other guests on the birthday party.

the manga in his hands was long forgotten as he stared at his phone, watching as the minutes ticked away one by one.

the second the clock announced the new day, he heard a gentle knock at the front door of his apartment. chifuyu basically flew out of his room to open the door, but not before he made sure that peke j was placed nice and safe down on his bed.

he swung the door open and revealed none other than his beautiful girlfriend standing the with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.

the second he opened the door for you, you basically pounced on him, causing him to stumble back a bit, but caught himself in the last second.

"happy birthday, fuyu!" you said excitedly, to which he let out a laugh and wrapped his arms around your waist. despite the fact he was most excited to see you, he couldn't help but notice the large bag you were holding that hit his back when you hugged him.

"thank you, baby, I was so excited to see you!" he said excitedly and lifted you up, spinning you around with you in his arms, causing you to let out a chuckle.

once he finally put you down, you gently dropped the gift bag onto the ground and instead cupped his face with your hands. he gave you a goofy grin before you leaned in, closing the gap between the two of you with a soft kiss on the lips.

the two of you stayed completely lost in the kiss until you suddenly heard a soft laugh from behind the two of you. you turned around and saw chifuyu's mom standing there, smiling warmly at the two of you.

you felt a little embarrassed for getting caught basically making out right infront of chifuyu's mom, but she didn't comment on it, instead, she just wished her son a happy birthday and gave him a kiss on the top of the head before leaving the two of you alone.

the two of you moved to chifuyu's, where you immediately greeted peke j before you felt a pair of arms wrapping around your waist. you rolled your eyes and turned around to face your boyfriend. you kissed the little idiot again, this time taking more time before finally pulling away, breathless.

"what did you get me?" he asked playfully.

"is that all you care about?" you teased, but nevertheless, you sat him down onto the bed and took the giant bag out again. he looked back at it excitedly, yet patiently.

you first pulled out a little envelope and handed it to him.

"read it." you commanded playfully, and he immediately complied.

chifuyu opened the envelope and took the letter out of it, reading silently.

(I'm too lazy to make up a letter, just imagine it)

by the time he was finished reading, chifuyu could feel his eyes slowly welling up with tears, you were too sweet, it never failed to make him soft.

without a word, he wrapped his arms around you waist and pulled you in, burying his face into your shoulder so you couldn't see him tearing up over a simple letter.

you laughed softly and hugged him back, one of your hands finding it's way into his hair and beginning to mindlessly play with his messy blonde hair.

"i luv u so much.. ur the best.." (I'm gonna cry he's so cute) he mumbled out, his words slightly muffled by your shoulder. you smile and kiss the side of his head, biting back a chuckle at his cuteness (omfg)

"you haven't even seen the actual gift though.." you reminded him playfully and pulled away from the hug.

"you're the best gift I could ever ask for.." (I'm gonna cry ilhsm) he said cheesily and let our a soft chuckle.

you rolled your eyes at his cheesiness and just placed the bag into his lap.

he looked back at you for a second before looking into the bag and almost immediately slapping a hand over his mouth in shock.

his eyes flickered between you and the contents of the bag a few times.

"you didn't." you did. you bought him every single volume of the manga he has been non-stop yapping about form months now.

"y/nnnn!!" he whined, not even taking the mangas out before once again jumping into your embrace and beginning to shower your face with thankful kisses, making you laugh again. (I'm gonna kiss him)

"I've been saving up and buying each volume for months now." you told him, making him let out another grateful whine. you were too amazing..

"thank you, y/n, I can't explain how grateful I am for you.." he mumbled out and gave you a loving kiss on the lips.

the two of you spent the rest of the night kissing, cuddling and reading the manga you bought him until you eventually fell asleep tangled up in each other's arms. you were glad you kept the little tradition of spending the night before your birthday's together, since you didn't quite enjoy enjoying your (fucking adorable) boyfriend with his friends.

dating chifuyu means having to deal with him sending you a saddened face every time he sees a cat in the streets. this is one of the most painful parts of going on walks with him, especially during the winter. if there’s even just a patch of snow on the ground and a cat in the same place, best believe he’s muttering how peke j needs a friend. god forbid you both walk past a pet store as well since he would practically drag you to look at the cats with him.

As much as Fuyu bothered me in the first season of Chaser Game W, I'm really loving her pouting her way into a color-coded relationship with Itsuki this season.

She gives off sophisticated Black Brooder vibes.

But Pouty Princess is really a black hole of emotions and cringe.

But maybe I like this season more because Korea has entered this girl fight between Japan and China with a big-eyed babygirl who could easily tie me in knots.

I ain't saying no to a woman like this, so whatever babygirl wants, babygirl's about to get!

And she wants Heavenly Human Itsuki even though Itsuki is already exchanging colors with a woman who has clearly never played a sport in her life.

Because girl can throw a mean look but couldn't hit Bigfoot with a dodgeball if he was standing still in front of her.

But I think the Korean Barbie can and will throw some punches because she wasn't wearing that "Angel" sports bra looking crop top with her "Vacation Mode" and "Relax Unwind" baseball jersey so she could play fair.

No! She is going to fight dirty because the meta is meta-ing!

And either she is trying to make this poly, or she is going to break these two color-coded girls in love up by inserting herself in the middle of their messy relationship.

But Itsuki will never leave her Pouty Princess.

They're already too far into exchanging colors! They'd have to buy a whole 'nother wardrobe if they broke up, and who has money like that in this economy when one is going through a divorce and the other is managing a cafe? Point being - They are staying together!

And if not for the clothes, then they have to stay together so the rainbows can fully form around them again.

So Pouty Princess is going to need her former underlings friends to help her learn how to slap a chick that isn't Itsuki because if she wants to keep her woman and her clothes, she's gonna have to channel some of that season one gusto, and smack a b*tch or two.

You and Baji had been turning Chifuyu down for forever, no way in hell were either of you gonna turn him into a vampire, regardless of how much he begged and pleaded. That all changed when Chifuyu, being his idiotic, stubborn self, decided to get into a fight with a random guy. His reasoning? They badmouthed Baji. Totally valid reasoning to get into a fight (in his opinion). What he wasn't expecting was the four other guys that popped up out of nowhere. A one-on-five? He was absolutely outnumbered and getting jumped for sure.

That's how he ended up at your doorstep, his Toman uniform torn and blood gushing from his side. You immediately brought him into the house, calling out for Baji from the living room. As soon as Baji saw him, he panicked.

"What the hell Chifuyu? What happened? Who did this?"

"He's in pain Kei! Stop bombarding him with questions."

"Sorry sorry."

Baji helps you lay him on the couch, propping his head up on a pillow as you take his uniform off to assess the extent of his injuries. The two of you can immediately see the amount of damage, even though it was only one stab wound the area around it was severely warm and took on a dark color as if his body was already going through the process of necrosis.

"Shit. Shit. Shit."

"You aren't helping!"

"I'm sorry! I don't know what the fuck to do y/n!"

"...Kei.."

"Y/n...no."

"Kei.."

"No, absolutely not. You are not turning him!"

"We don't have a choice!"

"Yes we do! We can take him to the hospital."

"And risk him dying on the way there? Hell no!"

"Fuck! Okay okay, just do it!"

You take a deep breath, apologizing to a barely conscious Chifuyu in advance for any pain you cause before biting down on his neck. You stay there for a few moments, praying that you did it fast enough. You unhook your fangs from his neck, pulling back as his body starts twitching. As Chifuyu comes to, he looks around the room, his unfocused eyes settling on you and Baji.

"What's going on?"

All you two can do is hug him, holding him as tightly as possible. Baji lets out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding, his grip on Chifuyu loosening a bit.

"Is someone gonna tell me what the heck is happening?"

"You're okay..."

"We thought you were gonna croak on us dude.."

"Huh? What happened?"

"You almost died man!"

"WHAT!"

You instinctively cover your ears as Chifuyu yells, his voice echoing through the room.

"Sorry y/n, didn't mean to be so loud...wait if I almost died, then how am I not dead?"

You remain silent, letting Baji break the news.

"Y/n had to bite you to save you... you're a vampire now..."

"I'm a vampire?...I'm a vampire."

"Yeah..." "Yup.."

"That means... we're friends forever!"

Chifuyu jumps up from the couch excitedly, pulling you and Baji into a tight hug.

"Oh god, an eternity with you? I rather be staked through the heart."

"Great, I'm stuck with you two dorks forever."

Chifuyu only hugs you two tighter.

"This is awesome! Do you think we could make Peke J into a vampire too? An immortal cat would be so cool!"

"Absolutely not" "Absolutely not"

"Pleeeease?"

You lean against Baji's shoulder, laughing softly at Chifuyu's begging before turning your attention to the couch, stained with his blood.

"I'll turn Peke J."

"Really?!" "What?"

"Only if you replace the couch though."

"Done!"

"You cannot be serious...I don't think I can handle an eternity of this."

What he uses on his partner: I think he mostly sticks with bunny, but he'll also whip out the occasional babe-- though he really does mostly stick with bunny

What his partner uses for him: depends on the partner but I think he'd really get a kick out of stuff like 'Love' or 'Heart or some variation of 'My Fox' and honestly give him any physical affection while calling him that and he's putty in your hands-- absolutely melting

Haru;

What he uses for his partner: he canonically uses a lot of positive physical descriptors like Beautiful and Gorgeous, but I think the deeper you get into it the more he starts using more sentimental things. I'm really partial to him calling his partner 'Blossom' in a romantic sense but I think love and heart come up a lot too. And the occasional dearest.

What his partner uses for him: I think he'd readily accept a wide range of the general fair-- so stuff like babe, sweetie, honey, etc. But I think the only things that really get to him are the ones where he can tell they're being super sincere and affectionate towards him. Also he's been called handsome dozens of times throughout his life, but something about it hits SO SO different when they tell him it. The fact of the matter is, give Haru your sincere and ernest attention and affection and he's all yours and then some.

Fuyu;

What he uses for his partner: so I think for the most part he sticks to 'curse-breaker' since it's really special and also true and at the core of how you met. But I think later down the line he starts to branch out, though all of them are just as poetic of a mouthful as 'curse breaker'. My fate, my own heart, the sky above my mountains, the moon in my darkest, my sun and stars. Also sometimes dearest.

What his partner uses for him: so I feel the more grounded affections are gonna be the ones Fuyu is the most comfortable accepting. So stuff like love, heart, dearest, etc. He also will take some sweeties and honeys here and there. But yeah idk why but I'm pretty obsessed with the idea of his s/o calling him Treasure. I'd why but I feel like it fits him well and he'd really like it. He's treasured, and it warms him so much.
