And on another note, I've always seen Luka as a reclusive type, but I didn't think he was outright ignored by his peers, (<- I assumed he always had the magic of charm. But now that I think of it, influence and money got him there, not his actual personality) In contrast to HyunA, it's less surprising because she's so charismatic, a lot of people must like and look up to her.

also, the insight into Luka's relationship with food in this comic. It's a natural feeling, when we're hungry, we want to eat. But even Luka's diet is being micromanaged, so his penchant to mouth at things doesn't feel like immaturity to me anymore, that was most likely a self-soothing method, the stimulation of it might ease the pain of starving all day. It shows how controlled he is, Luka is always wanting things he can't have, he's always starving for something, a feeling.

Also. Also. Thorfinns sleepin in the same spot at the ships stern. Originally had the rudders tiller bar visible, but realized in storage itd be removed + just outta the water, the rudder'd hafta be turned completely to the side, so still not visible :T

Last thing is just HC- but i think thorfinn probably stayed/slept out in the boathouse as much as possible while everyone else partied in the longhouse you can see in the background of gorms village. i think it’s really cute that rogue is just some dorky guy from the future who still plays old earth dungeons and dragons and listens to ancient kylie records and has a themed ring and he became a bounty hunter and named himself rogue to be edgy and cool but purely because of dweeb reasons. like if anyone’s a cosplayer it’s him lol. he’s so clearly a soft nerd pretending to be han solo. like yeah he “”has no moral compass”” but he’s basically doing that as longform actual play. this guy definitely saw a wanted poster of jack harkness when he was a teenager and was like “…. i gotta be that guy…..”. 10/10 character concept
