i was SEATED from beginning to end

genuinely one of my favorite performances out of all of them just because of how powerful and visually clean this group was on stage

the beat had me hooked from the start

phanbin's facial expressions left me in shock

this man's stage presence is so strong

didn't really notice him before this but now he has all my attention

i also think that his rapping has improved a lot since the start

honestly one of the only reasons why this isn't my all time favorite stage is just because of how much they focused on the dance aspect

like with people like yujin and zihao on the team, i can see why that might have been a conscious decision

but making everything so dance focused when it was a dance AND rap stage made it seem like something was lacking

my man kamden still slayed tho

the deep voice, the slight rasp, the flow control

the deep voice had me GAGGED

the way he was so proud when back koo-young praised his dance made my heart heal a little

like they gave him no screentime at all

but i also love how everyone was hyping him up in the comments and informing everyone that he choreographed some of the song

cause that man's krumping is not a joke

hes so talented and i hope more people listen to his solo works

plus the cohesiveness of the whole performance made it hard to pick him out from the crowd

but as a whole it was a really amazing stage that felt super professional and it slowly became one of my favorites out of all boys planet performances.

now i have a feeling he's becoming my ult

he OWNED this stage hands down and I'm so glad that people agree with me

everyone's saying that this is the moment where his debut was secured and i honestly agree

i mean look into his sparkly passionate eyes and tell me that you don't absolutely adore him and think he's the most amazing, cute, talented, person ever

youngjoon saying he loved taerae's smile is my roman empire because SAME BESTIE, SAME

overall this performance didn't really speak to me when i first watched it because i've heard the original and that put my expectations SKY high (listen to infinite people)

but as i rewatched it and started really getting into it to it i got the hype

it also produced the iconic line

dongyeol really surprised me with his vocals

i think his improvement should be studied fr cause i think he added a sense of humor and amusement to the stage which i genuinely don't hate

woojin was the one who stood out the least to me which i predicted from the start

as sub vocalist 3 but main rapper i thought the rap would let him have his time to shine but personally mingyu stole the show

mnet also gave him like 3 whole seconds of exposure throughout the whole performance which may have been another reason why i felt he was the weakest of the 4

genuinely feel like that was a more broadcasting issue than a him issue though which makes me sad :(

overall a really sweet and cute stage that i would defo rewatch whenever i have the time

ya'll they're called aces for a reason because this performance ate the house DOWN

literally the second i saw hanbin, zhang hao, gunwook, and hui on the same team i knew it was over

also the way i didn't know hoe-taek was hui from pentagon was shameful (don't come for me pls)

i literally figured it out after i saw a tiktok saying that when he was singing tomboy he was singing his ex-girlfriends, ex-group's song(he dated soojin for the ppl that don't know)

the way i went into shock for a hot minute

anyways back to the performance

love love loved zhang hao's prechorus

i feel like it felt really rushed and emotional but in the best way possible

even with the sub vocalist 1 and sub rapper 1 positions (plus the fact that he didn't get the killing part) i think that he really got the most out of his lines and made the performance his own

the way they changed "why are you cranky boy" to "why are you cranky girl" kind of threw me off though

like let them embrace their inner twink mnet

censoring the chorus of the song also kind of disappointed me cause i felt that it made the song feel less powerful

but i already knew it was coming as bp is meant to be a "family friendly" broadcast (I'm say this in the most sarcastic way possible)

gunwooks rap tho...

the way it was stuck in my head for a solid week is probably really unhealthy but i don't care

TOO MANY PEOPLE, AND TOO MANY PROBLEMS, TOO MANY PROUDLY, AND TOO MANY cute~

on a side note can we appreciate their outfits because i was stunned from the second i saw them

they were creating such a powerful atmosphere while also serving killer vocals

its such a refreshing change from all the other performances and it truly feels fun and enjoyable

like when i first watched the performance i was so surprised because since when has he been this good at rapping!?!? maybe that's just me tho

him, haruto, and keita definitely carried the rapping for me

in fact unpopular opinion but i actually liked the stage aesthetics in general including the outfits

idk what it was but the neon green was hitting real hard (its the inner neo in me)

And the RAPPING oml i had to take a breather after he finished his rap because i was in SHOCK

one of the best self-made raps ive heard, and the flow is just so controled

i'm also in love with his rapping voice in general??? idk what it is but it makes me feel some type of way

defo one of the main stars for me, but i think you all saw that coming because look at him

ollie coming in with his little rap made me so happy cause he's genuinely such a cute

not as strong as the other rappers (and as sub rapper 3 i expected that) but he still made an impact in the performance which i love

but then i also remembered how cute he was when he was begging for the killing part and showing off his english to mathew in the behind scenes

also his stage presence throughout the whole song was crazyyyyyyy

it wasn't really a vocally powerful song and i feel like it had the same issue as law but instead of not enough emphasis on the rap it was the vocals

but they still tried their best and i think that they did stand out in some ways

these stylists need a raise fr cause the way that the red suits fit the stage so well

but the way that they covered seo won and gyuvin's chest made me giggle a little

overall i would say that its defo not as polished as some of the other performances, but the overall concept and vibe suited all the trainees so much that the execution was bound to be amazing

cha woongki carried the feel special team on his back

they better have thanked all the gods above that gunwook kicked him out of his first pic otherwise that performance would have been so screwed

the way it felt like a whole solo song just for him because no one else wanted to sing :(

another thing i wanted to talk about was the limousine performance

the way i was shocked by how good it was

they trashed mnet, they ate, and then they left (literally)

i was gonna talk about it but i didn't have the time, so just know that it has a very special place in my heart

special mention number 3 goes to jongwoo

as a rapper being put in a VERY vocally difficult song like home, im so glad that he overcame the difficulties and placed 1st cause he deserves it

his facial expressions never fail to get me every time

i also think he's such an amazing leader and deserves credit for that

I’m having brainrot about my dnd OC’s, Warryn and Hecate

They’re so perfect for each other and I need to scream about it into the abyss

For context, Hecate and Warryn both exist in completely different campaigns. All of this is purely hypothetical or would be in an au where they could meet

Hecate (she/her) is a tiefling wizard and is pansexual/polyamorous. Warryn (they/them) is a halfling bard and is a lesbian

Sun and moon vibes are strong with this one. Warryn is super impulsive, fun and kinda an adrenaline junky. They’re not dumb but they’re very much an act first, think later kinda person. Meanwhile Hecate is very logic based and likes to think things through and is a lot more subdued and mellow. They just have a good balance

Warryn would be Hecate’s biggest cheerleader ever. Warryn is such a big hype man and that especially goes for the girl they’re dating. And Hecate is a girl with not a lot of self confidence at all, struggles with feeling good about herself, and responds really well to positive reinforcement. Ultimately, Hecate needs a cheerleader like that for a partner

On the flip side, Hecate would be so good to Warryn. Hecate is blunt and very socially awkward but she knows how to be romantic and Warryn would just loose their mind over that. Plus for context, Hecate is the only logic based character in her campaign. The rest of the party is charisma. So girly definitely knows how to handle people like Warryn lol

Mutual healing- Warryn and Hecate have both been to hell and back, figuratively speaking. Warryn might hide it better but both of them struggle with depression. Both have lost people important to them. Both compare themselves to others and struggle with feeling lesser than. The point is, they’re a perfect candidate for the trope of “learning to love myself by loving you” and that’s one of my favourite tropes of all time. They’re absolutely each other’s type. Hecate likes people who are powerful and heroic but with a dorky side. And Warryn honestly just really loves women in general, but particularly women who are a little scary and intimidating. And considering Hecate is a goth girly that studies corpses to learn about things like decomposition and how different species work along with currently learning necromancy and has two skeletons working for her, I’d say she fits the bill

Even tho Warryn is monogamous, they’d be so down chill about Hecate being polyamorous and seeing other people at the same time. Sure there might be some adjustments in the beginning but once they work through that, I fully see Warryn becoming Hecate’s wigman and going up to people like “hey, my girlfriend thinks you’re cute” and when questioned is just like “wait, y’all don’t wingman for your girlfriend?🤨 bruh what do you mean you only do that for your friends? Friend is literally 60% of the word girlfriend🙄”

Hecate really likes music and I feel like she’d love listening to Warryn play and would go to all their performances. Warryn would also defo write a song for Hecate

It would be a second chance at family for Hecate. Hecate’s parents died when she was young and from that point was just living in the military barracks. While she was close to people like her mentor and had friends, there was only so close she was really allowed to get in that environment. Meanwhile Warryn comes from a very big close knit family who would all really make of Hecate and be very welcoming to her into their lives

All in all, I ship it because Warryn would be a simp and Hecate deserves good things. Plus sun and moon and both depressed but healing each other tropes

new sso dartmoor doesnt look to be that great so far imo

i looked in the instagram comments and quite a few seemed to agree

its so strange to me tho,,, that the defence ppl use for sso putting out bad breed models regularly,, is ummmm,, sso updates a lot so like, they cant be perfect, and umm, its just a game so it doesnt need to be accurate and if you dont like it then stop playing

but like,, sso Chooses to update weekly, and they choose to add new features regularly. that is their choice. we, as the players, are not holding them at gunpoint to add a new feature or breed evry week. they could like update less,, or for every other update just focus on bugs and glitches? give themselves more time to implement new features (yall rememeber how glitchy dressage was) and to properly model new horse breeds

idc if they dont do any drastic updates between festivals/events, especially if it gives them time to actually fix bug/glitches, write more quests and storylines, add lines back into quests (missing translation is defo not what those 5 speech boxes are meant to say on the main questline) and allows hype to build for the festivals

the other thing abt it being a game, so who cares how realistic,, is fair. would be fair. if sso didn't do a detailed description for each horse breed including the history ans common disaplines, as well as info abt the breed's confirmation. like sso, clearly care somewhat abt being accurate to the breeds, and ypu can see that with how accurate some breeds are. also, if you say "this horse is meant to be this real life breed" then people are gonna compare,, and people who know the breed are gonna judge (especially if it's not that accurate)

the last point of 'dont like, dont play' or 'just dont buy the horse' is so fucking dumb to me. like sure if ppl were being shitty and threatening to not play then tell them that but no one is???? hey, you think this new update theyre teasing looks kinda mid and youre disappointed?? fucking quit the game forever. and like,,, what if i want a dartmoor pony? what if i like dartmoor ponys,, but sso new model and movements leave stuff to be desired,,, can i not voice my concerns? if i have questions on the quality of the new horse i should just shut up and not look at it or care at all about the new updates in the game i play?

like if sso put an update out that gave everything a red filter, and there was nothing you could do to change it, would these ppl still be defending it? I mean, it would be an update and no other game updates so much so we cant be ungrateful for blood vision. and so what if it doesnt match the colours of the real world,, its a game, it doesnt need to be accurate! and if you dont like the new red overlay? just dont play the game, you dont need to complain, just stop playing the game you like.

(that was a lie. this is a long post) Best movie of 2022! and the nominees are! -Sonic 2 -Bullet train -thor: love and thunder -knifes out: glass onion And the winner of best movie (in my opinion) of 2022 is...... Bullet train! woooooo! okay so it was really really close with the second sonic movie because as you probably know i adore sonic! but damn, bullet train really outdid itself for me. it was funny, thrilling and very well made! And for the fact ive watched it more than both sonic movies makes it my fav movie of the year! Okay so next up. game of the year! -Sonic frontiers -elden ring -Total war: warhammer 3 -Super lesbian animal RPG This was a spicy one. mostly between total war and sonic frontiers. But in the end i do have to choose sonic! I was hyped for both these games but sonic delivered while warhammer had me wait for months and im still waiting on my blood dlc (and if it has been released. oops guess i missed it) As most people prolly already said is that sonic frontiers does has its flaws but im just here looking at what I find the most enjoyable. and when it comes to gameplay and the sick ass soundtrack sonic frontiers took the lead! I do want to say as a honerable mention that SLARPG couldve beaten sonic but ive not had the time yet to finish it. but from what ive played so far its been really fun and i defo recommend it! And now on to the final category! Music! Ive listened to a looooot of music this year. and while the other sections had the rule of only having media released in 2022 for music i just do who i found the most fun to listen to this year! and my nominees are. -Red Vox -McBaise -Paradis -Pond Last year McBaise won really really hard. the song waterslide really helped me through the starting phases of taking anti depressants. This year however i think most of the time that ive listened to actual albums its mostly been from Red Vox! And thats why i say they are my pick for 2022! Recommend listening to the visions album which was released this year! its really good! And i think thats it for now! I do want to give one more award tho. If youve read till this point. first off. Black Knight: Not NEARLY as difficult a fight as it was hyped up to be, I know the first time I did it I saw the ratio of damage predicted between Ike vs. the dipshit knight and got so scared I just didn't even try, but my dude powers through it without much of a problem with just aether. ...ok and Mist healing him. On my first playthrough Ike had aether, but Mist didn't have a horse...although I have no idea if she had physic or not, which maybe would've resulted in the same thing? I guess her staff level would also have to be good. Anyway I've heard that there may be other ability combos that work better, but with aether and with Mist with a good staff level able to canto, it was a super simple fight on normal difficulty. So I saved Nasir! :D

MVPs 6-10: Absolutely scattered results, obvs Naesala's only available in the very last battle and he still murdered more people than like 90% of my army...the other four were all ones that I was like "...and I guess I'll add you as the last unit to fill out the roster" for most maps that they were on. Kieran's good cuz he's on a horse and he's frankly better than Oscar even though I was training Oscar, Stefan is UNHINGED and even tho he was never my top pick he's aboslutely worth the hassle of recruiting him, I definitely biased towards Ulki bcs of getting the support with Rhys but he's a good unit bcs like the birds are all good, and Haar is just. also very good like I'm a little salty I spent all that time training Marcia and then Haar was still way better. Also unfair that Reyson isn't an attack unit or he'd easily be in the top 5. >:(

Marcia: Wow, I did make an effort to train her up, but uh...honestly those other 4 MVPs tended to replace her? She was just my early-game trainee. I like early-game pegasus knights a lot more now, Florina and Vanessa respectively did a lot of work in my most recent FE7 and FE8 runs, but yeah, Marcia never quite got there...but she sure got a lot of exp I guess. ...nice.

Titania: Honestly. She could carry the whole game. At least on this difficulty setting. Just use her and train up Ike and Mist for the knight fight and that's literally all you need.

Ike: Other FE protagonists hold different spots in my heart, Eliwood being the stereotypical-cinnamon-roll-protag and Byleth being the one I've personally connected with most...but PoR Ike defo gets my personal trophy for "most nuanced / most interesting / best written / also let's be real actually a cinnamon roll, just one who could kick your ass and is allowed to say fuck (or…fig.)” I like Ike.

Soren: ...so yeah my goals this time were 1) (as always) recruit all units and lose none, 2) defeat the black knight (technically ties in with the last one), and, reminded at the last minute that there's a unit ranking, 3) make Soren the MVP. ...so yeah, that's everything I wanted to do with this run! :D

now to see if I can get this stupid data transfer to work for Radiant Dawn. :P

THERE’S A SAMURAI SUBCLASS ????? I DIDN’T KNOW THAT…. My man bouta MUTLICLASS bro. I think he’s do that. He wouldn’t know what it meant or anything about it BUT he’d still do it.

Making me think now actually like ; Character multiclassing for practicality (Maybe Shindou?) vs Character Multiclassing for Lore related reasons (feels like a Gouenji thing in my heart honestly) vs Multiclassing for fun.

Tenma would multiclass; it’s in his blood. One of them is a Bard tho, I think he’d have a lot of like “charm” spells; more of a “let’s talk this out” guy rather than a “let’s duke this out” guy. The second MIGHT be Warlock with his patron being his visual personification of soccer. For fun. Tsurugi *might* multiclass. To me he feels like Paladin because of his Keshin but idk what his other class would be.

Nishiki would probably multiclass because of the above. He goes paladin for Sakamoto and then mid-session someone pipes up like “Oh hey, this class has a samurai subclass!” And he loses his mind and his dm is like “Look, next time you level up you can multiclass, ok? We’re too far in to change now.” And Nishiki is hopping off the walls.

I wish I could assign each character a class but idk who would go where 😔😔😔

Side rant is that I feel like Gouenji, Kirino and honeslty? Probably Yuichi are really good at flavouring their spells to how their character would. Like, Gouenji is just over dramatic; but it’s funny and it fits. Kirino would just like the flare of it, and Yuichi would be so bored sitting for ages doing nothing (recovery), that he’d read the players handbook for ages and think “What could I do for my next session….” Because Tenma defos runs one for the hospital boys to help keep them entertained because no one likes sitting around all the time. I think that campaign would mainly be Taiyou, Yuichi and Tenma as dm but Tsurugi def joins when he visits Yuichi at the time of their session, which is often because Tsurugi likes spending time with his brother and seeing him interested in something outside of soccer is cool as hell.

Also Tenma def flavours his spells to be soccer related I’m sorry I don’t make the rules that boy has soccer on the brain 24/7. This also goes for Endou.

I like to think the managers+Minori, Sakura and Morimura also have a campaign. Can all the Galaxy guys also have a campaign? I think that’d be neat. Cool bonding exercise! I know I mentioned Tetsukado before but the others are also there.

It starts storming outside during practice one day and everyone’s forced in doors and they’re all wet and soaking and while drying off Endou just randomly says “Ok guys! I need you all to split into groups of four to five!” So they do and suddenly Gouenji and Kidou walk in and Endou announces that they’re starting dnd campaigns for them all as a fun activity for when it rains so bad they don’t feel like playing anymore and everyone’s a little wary at first cause they’re all newbies but their now dms explain it in ways they understand and they’re like “oh cool!” And now there’s just a few campaigns going on sometimes and idk who but one of them def plays on weekends too because they’re really hyped for it.

I feel like some of the Raimon players from OG and GO would play DND. Like Kidou. Kidou would be a DM I think. And he'd then persuade his mates to play (Endou, Gouenji, etcetera.), and then that was passed down in the generation when Tenma or something overhears their coaches talking about some crazy adventure they'd had that weekend, and how they killed some dragon.

Then a lot of them got somewhat interested. Tenma definitely would play, I think. Tsurugi also has the energy of a DND nerd. Kirino feels like he'd do it too, and then he'd persuade Shindou to join in.

Nishiki would make a paladin, not sure what race but he'd be a paladin heavily inspired by Sakamoto Ryouma. Shinsuke would play a dragonborne or Lizardfolk because he really likes Dinosaurs.

Hamano or maybe Tetsukado, or both, would play a triton. A funny fish man because they're fishermen. Alternatively, they'd play Water Genasi.

Tenma, Shinsuke, Tsurugi, Kariya and Hikaru would have a DND campaign at Aki's, and I think Aoi would be an amazing DM. She'd definitely ask Kidou for tips.

Also Tenma would have a side campaign with Taiyou and a few others because I love that for them <3

This guy might be intimidating, but he is a sucker for headpats and headscratches

After a day from work, you'll be chillin on your sofa and there comes Daichi rubbing his head on your fingers and palms.

Of course, you'll run your hands through his silky fur as he close his eyes, finally being able to rest-

Cue loud hissing, meowing and scratching noises from the other room

The cat sighed and his face looked so done that you grew scared for a moment

Should've caught that on camera my love, cause that was funny af

A responsible baby but since he is the responsible one while your other cats are on crack he is always sleep deprived

Defo hates you a teeny bit for housing in 14 more cats.

But headpats and food makes up for it🥰

Koushi

Is also a fatass who once made a hole on your chair because of how heavy he was.

Tsuki, Yams, Kags and Hinata are his babies.

He always grooms them and makes them eat first and if you touch these four without his permission, you gonna get scratches and bites.

You wanted to name him Suga at first cause he seemed very gentle and sweet but once he got used to your house a few days later he was chaotic af

So you just named him Koushi instead.

Overall he is the Wreck it Ralph of your household and always has the zoomies 25/8

Asahi

With long, brown colored fur and brown eyes, Asahi gets a lot of attention by your visitors because of his large size and beautiful fur.

He is very long and wide so whenever he sleeps infront of a door, you have to step over him instead of going around him cause there is no going around since he is that large.

Has the largest food bowl cause a the one the others use is too small for his face and so when he does try to eat in it, his face gets stuck.

Even tho he is large, he is a scaredy cat

Whenever he sees another cat, even if its a small, puny kitten, you can bet he'll run faster than the flash.

Koushi and Yuu always comes up to him to playfight, but he would run away because he's scared even though his paw is larger than the two's head smh

Buuutttt he is a huge cuddlebug🥰

He always sleeps beside you in your bed thats why your bed has a lot of fur

Would lick your hair when you lay down (My cats do this to me too idk why tho)

He tries to stop the others fight so his friend Daichi could rest, but once the fight does start, he just cowers away.

When you wake up in the morning, you'll be able to see him beside you stretching his arms before greeting you with a 'good morning' in cat language.

He is very very sweet towards everybody, that's why he is your favorite but just dont shove an unknown cat in his face because he'll immediately hide.

Yuu

He is a brown and blonde cat with brown eyes.

He is the total opposite of Asahi

He is the wild child along with Koushi

When the neighbors blast their speakers off with hype music, you can see Yuu peeking outside the window his head bobbing to the beat.

Tries to playfight with Asahi but the cat would just run away.

Since he is smaller than the other cats, Yuu would hop ontop of their backs and ride them like a fooking horse.

The victim of this is Asahi and Ryunosuke.

Is besties with baby Shoyo and he would teach him how to always win a playfight

Even though he always lose against Koushi and Ryu-

But anyways, he is a great senpai/big bro to the young kittens.

He always let them eat first and sometimes groom them too.

Although one thing about this cat is he is always energetic.

And you've never seen him asleep.

Is Hitoka's protector from other stray cats who wants to get close to the poor kitten.

Was actually the one who brought Hitoka to you.

He was playing with Tobio and Shoyo on your yard when they heard loud hissing and little mewls.

Immediately the three ran to where they heard it and saw two big cats ganging up on the poor kitten.

Cue Ryu's loud hissing and meowing.

"Hisss hissss, meooooww! Meoww!!"

Translation: "Formatiom C you two! Leave her alone, shitty boys!"

The three succeeded and saved the day!

You were surprised when the three arived with Ryu carrying poor baby Hitoka on the nape.

You accepted her into the family and honored the three, especially Ryu (since he was the adult) with more food and more pats.

When Kiyoko found out about the incident, she may or may not hated Ryu less now🥺

A cat with black fur and grey eyes

He is a very quiet and modest cat

Although he always has this judging look for some reason

It's a ritual at exactly 10 pm after Kei watched his dino movies and videos, he'll come up to your room and to your window and there the two owls and Tetsurou were waiting for him

And they'll chat until 12 in the midnight

It's really cute and they all looked invested in the convo so you just let them be

Well except for one time Koutarou tried to kidnap Kei by pecking him by the neck

But Keiji and Tetsurou stopped the owl before anything bad happened so yeah its all good

Sharpens his nails at your beloved wooden table

You'll be crying cause that shit was expensive while he'll only smirk at your direction as he leaves, tail swishing elegantly and softly as if mocking you

One time you rewatched Cinderella with one of your younger cousins and saw the cat Lucifer, you pointed at the screen as you looked at the kitten who just woke up from his nap.

He only glared at you before laying down to take a nap again.

You regreted not naming him after that cat.

Tadashi

Has this rare fur color that at first look black but when the sun shines at it, it'll turn a dark green.

The night you first got him, you decided to watch Big Hero 6 for your movie night

Tadashi immediately became immersed with the show as he watched it alongside you

His eyes sparkle at the new sight of the tv and he liked the animation

From then on, you need to watch Big Hero 6 atleast once a week for him

So in honor of his love for the movie, you named him after one of the characters of the movie, Tadashi

Now, baby Tadashi is a sweet cuddlebug

When you come home from work, he'll always be at the foot of the door waiting for you with Hitoka

Once he hears the jingle of your keys, he'll immediately stand up and would start meowing and purring

Once you open the door, you'll pick him up and give him pats and kisses no matter how tired you were

He always follows Kei because he thinks he's so cool for having owls and other cat friends because if that was him, he'll immediately run away

He is literally so dependent on you because out of all the kittens, he has the weakest body

When you first got him, he was limping and he couldnt even walk without sliding and slipping

The shelter's workers told you that it was some kind of birth deficiency

And so when you did get home, you have to assist him with almost everything

Since he was so used to always being in your arms, he would always ask for you to carry him

He loves how warm and safe you feel☺️

Definetly cries and meows when you leave for work

He just doesnt want you to leave the house because he knows that the outside world is very mean

And he doesnt want you to get hurt

For some weird reason he loves sleeping under your bed

When almost everycat sleeps beside you on your bed or on your sofa, he sleeps under the bed.

When you try to carry him to your bed, he'll wake up and jump down from your bed before sleeping again at his previous position

You just shrug and let him sleep there

He loves napping under the sun

When he feels the sun vanishing to where he currently sleeps in, he'll stand up and search around the house where the sun's rays are shining more.

When he does sleep, he'll drag your Mew plushie to where he'll sleep and use it as his pillow

She is cold to everyone except you and Hitoka

But she just blinks at them before walking away to either ask pets from you or to groom Hitoka

Hitoka, Tadashi, Kei, Shoyo and Tobio brings out the motherly side of her

She grooms them, she helps them up the bed, she makes sure all of them are eating when it's time to eat

Basically adopted all of them

She's very brave and fearless

While the other cats would tense whenever they see other animals in your yard (squirrels, racoons, rats etc)

She'll only deadpan before hissing loudly at them

She's really scary when she hiss so the poor rodents would run as fast they could lmao

Kiyoko was one of the first cats you adopted

You found her being abused by random mean kids near your workplace

You scared those kids and decided to take her home with you

The only "dissapointment" for me is the lack of TC tbh. Like where's the ELITE trine? You can't have one without our precious lovable nerd! I still hope we may see him doing his own thing, hidden somewhere, writing scripts and taking care of Buster, healing on his own.

Kinda worried he got replaced tho. I mean Warp did say "watch out or your sonic booms will cause a cave-in." Did she mean any sonic boom coming from any fast-flying seeker? Or was that THE special boom? If the latter than why would Nova have this if not for the writers to replace TC? But then again why just not have TC himself? As for the existing relationship it may be some sort of agreement. Like "you either keep up or get left behind" sort of deal? I'm defo hoping to see more of them and see them getting healthier. I know! It's one of the best scenes in the show and I honestly still cannot believe that it happened, especially from a character like Starscream. But then again, EarthSpark is a completely different Transformers show, focused on healing.

As for the dynamic of the Seekers, I honestly don't think that it's disappointing. At least, not for me. It’s to be expected. Besides, this is just s1! Who knows? They could grow healthier, especially after the events of Starscream’s episode. I would like to see all three of them fleshed-out more. I would love more personality from Nova Storm and Skywarp!

oh gosh, i rly enjoyed it!! where to start, uh, ooh.

ykw, it was a lil more intelligent than i expected it to be? that might sound kinda rude but with the limited promotional material i wasn't too sure what to expect exactly (even tho i was excited). my memories of all the fear street books i recall devouring in middle school, uh, some were defo objectively better than others-- but at the end of the day, most were formulaic and relatively standard fare. but heck, i'm down for trash horror and b horror usually so if this movie was super stupid it wouldn't have been a dealbreaker for me AT ALL. but imho fear street 1994 handled classic horror homages and tweaking with them whilst following a familiar rl stine path, and did so in a fashion better than it had to for what it is-- bc like, lbr it's stylish af and a fear street movie. it didn't *have* to be any good. ppl were going to watch regardless of quality bc the book series is so prolific and the trailers did nothing to disguise how freakin' awesomely stylish it is. man, did this movie milk the most of its 90s aesthetic and i do not mean that in any kind of derogatory way. i rly dug the style, i appreciate a movie that makes the most of its environment!!

on that note, it uh, it felt like watching a fear street book? it rly did. one of the super chillers brought to life. and that was nice. i'm not gonna pretend i have every single one of those books committed to memory bc i don't, but. i've a conglomerate memory of the pulpy horror + teen angst + town lore, and this movie certainly brought its game on those fronts.

the characters!! i enjoyed them. deena, esp, oof, she's got my heart. i feel like josh and i would hang out, ngl. all the protagonist kids i felt some kind of fondness toward tbh, i enjoyed all of them enough to be as attached as warranted in a film like this. i'm left wondering why there were all horny at the same time?? idk if it was just one of those things where like, yk, the end is nigh, so u might as well fuck before it's too late, or if that was some side-effect of the witch magic weirdness?? not that that matters in any way. it doesn't. it's just one of the questions that was left unanswered for me.

low body count for a slasher type horror movie and on that note, i do have some complaints. simon's death was woefully underdone. heather and kate got to have drawn out struggles with their killers. sam, while consenting to *temporary* death had a p good drowning at deena's hands imho (and drowning was defo more practical than overdose given the circumstances). kate got her face utterly shredded by the fuckin' bread cutter which was disgusting and horrifying but also great on the body horror front. but simon got?? one chop to the head and beyond a lil blood squirting it wasn't that gory??

i am displeased. to be fair, simon was killed with a double bit axe, and that is a p one-hit-kill weapon when it's, uh. inserted violently into the the skull. and he didn't have time to struggle bc he was killed from behind. also i think it was supposed to be a lil bit of a jump scare bc u don't see the killer? but still!! it's a slasher movie with a p small body count so it should be making the most of its kills. this could've (should've) been a lot messier.

i personally saw the twist with sam being possessed like, a mile away. it was the way the movie continued, the things the camera was panning over. the obviously sharp broken drumstick?? oof. also bc this is a fear street movie and most fear street and goosebumps books ended with some kind of twist more often than not, so it would've felt outta place if the movie didn't end with one.

but predictable or not, i thought sam's possession worked. deena survived the attack and subdued sam, so i was hella grateful for that-- i was scared the film would end with sam killing her!! plus sam being possessed will hopefully serve as an opening to delve even deeper and more thoroughly into the sarah fier lore going into the next fear street movie, which i'm defo looking forward to. is it p standard fear street lore thus far?? yes, but i'm still invested. standard or not, i felt it worked for this film and it piqued my interest.

plus the movie just. straight up ends with 'to be continued...' which is what multiple part goosebumps episodes ended on, so that made me smile.

3x01 Chapter Thirty-Six: Labor Day

I’m so hype for this episode’s p e a k summer vibes, I cannot even tell you. These outfits were perhaps the ones I was most excited about diving into, not necessarily for any thematic work they do, but just because I love them. It’s that simple. Summer is ~my season. And from this ep it would also appear to be Betty Cooper’s. 

She has so many different looks here! It’s the most caps I’ve made for an episode so far, topping out at 631 (don’t look at me like that). She wears A Lot of clothing in this episode, in a lot of different iterations—and this post is lengthy as a result. As such, I’m deigning to try out a read more cut on this one, which is a thing I go back and forth on for this blog—but I’ll save that chat for later.

It wounds me how briefly we get to appreciate this adorable look. The denim shorts?? With the rolled cuff? The gingham?? My god. 

I think this dress is incredibly cute (I’ll probably say that a lot this post). Sometimes I think of it randomly and wonder if I can find it for sale on the internet somewhere. I’m just very fond of it. 

There’s a moment here where Archie, Jug, and Betty reminisce about Sweetwater Swimming Hole—Betty doesn’t remember an incident involving some leeches (a la Stand By Me—and not even the most overt allusion to that film this season), but Jug and Archie do. This isn’t the only moment Betty will seemingly fail to recall a childhood memory throughout this season. Put a pin in it. 

Her envelope purse, introduced near the end of season 2.

It’s quick, but we see her pop an adderall in the courthouse. 

Murder me, please, because this is really too cute to be dealing with. 

We saw Betty wear (her first!) white v-neck tee in 220. This might be the same one, it might be new, who knows. The short overalls are defo new tho. 

Please note she wears her hammer necklace to do some work on Archie’s jalopy, which in the comics is called...Betsy. Which is potentially confusing. 

Let’s appresh that Betty has consistently been down to get dirty, as exhibited again and again and again in season 2. 

I am a sucker for a floral Reformation dress! I’m weak. Purple was certainly a season 2 color for Betty, and that carries on here—if in a softer, more lavender-leaning fashion.

It looks like the wardrobe team have made some alterations to the back, too, unless this is an earlier iteration of Refo’s Rosehip dress. 

(Okay, I’m an avid journalist, but damn girl. What’s the date range we’re talking here?)

Betty’s actual bathing suit (as opposed to her daydream suit—but we’ll get to that later) very much falls under the purview of her brand. Am I crazy, or do bathing suits just work for Ms. Reinhart? 

(She also dons a pair of on-brand flip flops I could not capture).

Baby’s first Serpent jacket! Right on top of her pretty purple floral dress, bless. 

And yes, indeed, it has the standard patch. 

Now this purpley pink is indeed a very season 2 color for Betty, worn with her B pendant necklace, another s2 staple. The shirt has a very subtle ribbing to it, too. 

This is a romper, and Betty wears it to both be confronted by her family about what she’s been up to, and to camp out with her friends. 

The points that Alice and Polly make to Betty in this episode—that Betty should not be avoiding the trauma of having a serial killer for a father, that she should not be forging prescriptions for adderall, she should not be faking having a therapist—are not so crazy. That said—the Farm’s anti-medication stance, its burn-your-diaries-and-forget-your-past methods are also not the way to go. No one’s fully in the right here. There’s middle ground to be found.

As an aside, I’ll say that I’m near positive that at this point Alice is fully on board with the Farm, and is not yet an FBI informant. People join cults because they find personal benefits, and community, and because it can better their lives. They don’t join cults knowing it’s a cult. There’s a fine but very identifiable line.

Anyway.

We last saw this bra in the pilot! Betty’s very first scene! Can u believe? She wears it with a lacy high-rise brief in a sea foam or light blue color. As a firm proponent of a mixed set, I can only approve.

Betty self-soothes by building some very nice cairns. She talks about quitting adderall, about getting a non-fake therapist.

Short-sleeve floral sundresses appear to be Betty’s summer courtroom go-tos. Love the mustard. 

Towards the beginning of season 2, Betty began to wear a lot of sporty stripes, and these pajamas certainly fit within that space. We’ve also seen her in athletic shorts with piping before.

Maybe she did quit her adderall? Maybe she quit cold turkey and she’s having a reaction because of this. (Guys, never stop a medication cold turkey, t a p e r, with the help of a professional.) Please recall Betty was forging her prescriptions—a criminal offense, but let’s not get into it. She doesn’t have the medical advice to do this the right way. But hallucinations are a not symptom of adderall withdrawal (per the internet.) Hallucinations can occur in a seizure, however.

In addition to...whatever’s going on here, we have two moments in which Betty appears in the subconscious of others in this episode: in seemingly both Archie and Jughead’s daydreams, and later in Archie’s nightmares. Fittingly, one outfit is imagined out of whole cloth (pun); the other, we’ve already seen Betty wear. 

How do we know Jughead and Archie are daydreaming? Well, they’re each given a moment of perspective, and Jughead is wearing a different outfit in each scene.

It’s hard to get a read on Betty’s suit—but I’m almost positive it is a bathing suit, unlike the skivvies-swim that happens elsewhere in the episode. This trip out to Sweetwater Swimming Hole was preplanned (...in Jug’s daydream), the Labor Day trip was spur-of-the-moment (per Archie’s ‘livin’ his last weekend as a free man’ vibe). It’s a teal color, which we really have not seen her wear at all. It could be a two piece, it could be a one-piece of a similar backless design like her pink polka dot suit, who knows.

In Archie’s version of the dream, his friends go off to live their lives without him. Betty’s wearing the pink denim skirt we last saw in 216, and what looks like a sleeveless denim top (we’ve seen her in two of those before).

Betty and Veronica are indeed wearing the same bathing suits in each day dream, most evident by Veronica’s suit—but you can also see Betty’s straps. This is probably for practical reasons; two costume changes for a wet scene is probably enough to deal with, three is asking a bit much, especially if it can be easily fudged. 

The moods of these scenes are totally disparate, as are their lighting schemes. Jug’s is full of possibility (peep how Betty gives him the eye); Archie is literally being left behind in his. Archie and Jughead are on two separate paths, and here’s your metaphor.

In Archie’s nightmare, we see the gang in their Shadow Lake get-ups from 214. Betty wears her wool moto jacket (a season two outwear staple) and her plaid knit crewneck from that ep. 

Summary: Eight outfits in real life: she changes out of her purple dress to put on her bathing suit, so we’ll count those separately; but she wears the underwear she swims in underneath that romper, so that counts as one. In addition there are two dream outfits, bringing this episode’s total to 10. Whew. 

I Own This: Yeah, you know this, I own quite a few of those Natori bras (but have never swum in one. Yet.)
