I think they are copy pasted the pearls from the Chinese Inuyasha drama. There were rainbow pearls in that one. The lack of originality and copypasting power of Sunrise is breathtaking.

Last day, there was another major accident near the Sengoku highway, where a model of Sato cars had crashed head first into the bus no 16 of the Yashahime corp.

This results in adding to the already rising character death tolls since the beginning of October.

The Shikon

- Midoriko made it with her soul and trapped demons in there where she continued fighting with them

-Zero wishes on the jewel, gives up on her powers, creates something even more powerful than the shikon( the rainbow pearls)

Why even bother about Shikon then, why did the rainbow pearls not exist in Inuyasha's timeline. How does the Shikon remain (pink; something only possible if wished by someone who have pure intentions) after Zero, someone with not-so-pure intentions wishes on it.

- The Shikon jewel reaches Sango's village and co-incidentally dthe jewel was discovered.

- The jewel is given to Kikyo for its protection.

-Onigumo's obsession with Kikyo begins

- Inuyasha gets wind of the jewel and chases it.

-InuKik romance begins.

-Onigumo scarifices himself to demons and becomes Naraku.

-InuKik romance ends with Naraku's plot and Inu is sealed to the tree.

-Kikyo dies and the jewel is burned along with her.

- Kagome is born 500 years into the future with the jewel in her body.

- She leaps time and shatters the jewel.

- Naraku causes hostility in the era and the fight for jewel begins.

- The jewel darkens from Naraku's plan of absorbing misery from living beings.

- Naraku is defeated

- The jewel is wished away by Kagome.

The jewel becomes pink (purified) at the end from Kagome's power and pure wish and hence could be wished away by her. Then why was it not wished away the first time. Considering Zero made a pure wish and the jewel remained pink, a selfless wish should make the jewel disappear.

- The 7 rainbow pearls resurface.
