あじさいがいい感じに咲き始めてきました。いい感じというのは、咲き始めの淡いグラデーションが好きなんです。

外に行くほど鮮やかに色づくのを見ていると梅雨も悪くないのかなって思います。でもやっぱり晴れの下で撮りたい。

梅雨も悪くないとはいえ、梅雨入り前にこの大雨は辛いですよね。これは台風の影響ですかね。台風なんて夏の終わりのイメージなんですけど。

なにはともあれ、この大雨で何も被害が出ないことを願うばかりです。

さて、写真は長居植物園の万葉の小径のあじさい。あじさい園の花よりも一足早く咲いていますよ。きっと６月に入るとキレイに咲きそろって来るんでしょうね。

Astilbe, hydrangea ACTUALLY going to have a bloom?? All the sedums blooming or getting ready to bloom, lamb's ear blooming (and zebra grass returns), and then pincushion flower which, imagine that, blooms and grows when animals stop eating it.

I thought about this and I realized that my favorite is probably Snapdragons, but i also really like Hydrandeas, Lilacs, and Wisteria.

What's everyone's favourite flowers that aren't like. The normal ones. Like everyone's a fan of roses and sunflowers what's a more niche one. One you don't get in gift sets. Mine's sweet peas

I biked to work today for the first time in a long time. It was a perfect morning to bike. Slightly cool and misty around the river and through the red zone. Mid morning I got a message that there was a large box delivered to reception for me. I was expecting an Air Fryer which Hubby had ordered. Somehow it was larger than I thought it would be. I wrangled it upstairs and texted Hubby so he could collect it on his way home. That meant I would have to wait around at work until he got there so I went for a walk in the gardens at lunchtime. It was 29ºC, sunny and beautiful out and I had a lovely walk. After work Hubby collected the very large carton and drove it home. I rode my bike in the warm wind. This evening the house is full of that heating plastic smell as Hubby test drives his Air Fryer. I am very tired from all that bike riding. Time for sleep. Night all.

今日も朝から雲行きが怪しい。雨が降りそうでもちそうで。降水確率も４０%と微妙です。

そんな中、とりあえず堺市都市緑化センターに撮りに行くことにしました。そしたら次男も付いてくると言います。

妻の目もあるので連れて行くことにしたんですけど、撮り始めたら暑いし虫が多いので、すぐに帰ろうと言い出します。

私としては虫が多いことも織り込み済みですし、せっかく来たんだからいろいろ撮りたい。でも、次男は私の腕を掴んで引っ張ります。撮ってられないのです。

まぁ天気も良くないし仕方ないかと思って、次男と広場で野球をして帰りました。

考えてみれば、それはそれでいい休日です。
